OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark has got a new tattoo dedicated to the Spice Girls.
The 33-year-old TV star is a huge fan of the chart-topping girl group – which featured Mel B, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham – and Rylan has revealed he recently got a Spice Girls-themed inking on his leg.
Rylan – who shot to fame on ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 and is now a close pal of Geri – said on BBC Radio 2: “This week I had a tattoo done. I have had a tattoo on my leg – ‘girl power’. It’s real. It’s for the Spice Girls.”
The TV presenter has often spoken of his love for the iconic girl group, and he even performed a medley of Spice Girls songs during his time on ‘The X Factor’.
Meanwhile, Rylan recently penned a tell-all memoir to celebrate his 10 years in the entertainment industry.
The ‘Supermarket Sweep’ host hopes his fans will “have a good laugh and cry” when they read ‘TEN: The decade that changed my future’.
Rylan – who split from his husband Dan Neal in 2021 – said: “I’ve learned so much from my decade in the business and I’m genuinely excited to be writing again.
“It’s been a tough couple of years, for so many of us, and last year was one of my toughest yet, so I’m pleased to have the opportunity to talk about the lessons I’ve learned along the way. You’ll hopefully have a good laugh and cry with me too.
“I started off as the joke, and here I am, 10 years later, still laughing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt has been banned from using Botox.
The 31-year-old TV personality has been told by doctors that she can no longer have the wrinkle-reducing injections, because they cause her eyes to droop.
Scarlett – who was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy during her teens – shared: “One day I was talking away to myself in my bedroom and my mouth just drooped to the side.
“I remember standing in front of the mirror screaming at myself, trying to get my face symmetrical.
“That’s when we found out I had Bell’s palsy.
“My face isn’t symmetrical anymore and when I’m very tired it’s worse – and it’s very evident.”
Bell’s palsy is a condition that causes facial muscle weakness or paralysis, and can strike anyone at any age.
Scarlett has been told by doctors that because of the condition, she should stop using Botox.
She explained on ‘Changes with Annie Macmanus’: “I was told, unfortunately for me, I can’t ever have Botox in case it causes a droopy eye – which I was gutted about now I’m in my thirties.”
Meanwhile, Scarlett previously admitted to spending a week in bed after being subjected to vicious trolling.
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner told her friends and family she was “working away” – but she actually in bed feeling “so sad”.
She shared: “I remember one day going to walk out of the house, getting to the front door and sort of freezing.
“It was as if my body just wouldn’t let me open the door.
“I actually pretended to my family and friends that I was working away, and I wasn’t.
“For the whole week I was in bed. I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to speak to my mum and dad because then they’ll worry. I don’t want to be a burden, and my friends are so proud of us and think I’m living the dream,’ so I was just so sad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prue Leith thinks older women should embrace falling in love for a second time.
The 82-year-old TV star married her second husband John Playfair in 2016, and she’s encouraged other women to remain open-mined about finding love later in life.
Prue – who joined ‘The Great British Bake Off’ in 2017 – explained: “It happens a lot. I have a lot of friends who fell in love late in life. I think young people don’t understand. I think they find it embarrassing like old people are not meant to do any of that.
“The funny thing is they will find that when they get older they will feel exactly the same as when they were younger.”
Prue – whose first husband, author Rayne Kruger, died in 2002 – insisted that her enthusiasm for love hasn’t dimmed at all over recent years.
She shared: “Now when I fell in love with John it was exactly like it was when I fell in love with my first husband like you panic when you look at your phone or like ‘shall I text’ and all of that. And why wouldn’t it be?”
The restaurateur and her on-screen co-star Paul Hollywood are heading to the US later this year, in a bid to make a splash on the other side of the Atlantic.
And Prue explained that her long-term ambitions extend beyond the ‘Bake Off’.
The chef admitted she’d love to see her own production company “take off” in the coming years.
Speaking to TV star Jonathan Van Ness on his podcast, Prue shared: “I have set up a production company with my daughter which is called Relish. If that takes off that will be fantastic.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘It’s a Sin’ won three gongs at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards on Tuesday (29.03.22).
The hit drama – which centres on the Aids crisis in the UK – won the Limited Series accolade during the awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Russell T Davies – the show’s creator – also claimed the Writer award, while Callum Scott Howells won in the Best Male Actor category.
Elsewhere, the Judges’ Award was handed to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for its 2021 series.
The BBC show was praised for breaking new ground, despite being the most popular entertainment show on British television.
Rose Ayling-Ellis became the programme’s first deaf contestant and the first-ever disabled winner of the coveted glitterball trophy in 2021.
‘Strictly’ was also praised for its other casting choices, after John Whaite and Johannes Radebe became the first all-male dance couple in the show’s history.
Graham Norton received the Outstanding Contribution to British Television accolade.
The 58-year-old TV star was handed the special prize as a recognition of his 30-year career in the entertainment industry.
Graham was originally due to received the accolade in 2020, but he was unable to because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Acclaimed screenwriter Jack Thorne also enjoyed a night to remember, as he received the Outstanding Contribution Award.
The 43-year-old writer – who began his TV career working on ‘Shameless’ and ‘Skins’ – was praised for creating some of the most compelling and important pieces of TV in recent years.
Meanwhile, Gary Neville won the Royal Television Society award for best Sports Presenter, Commentator or Pundit.
The former Manchester United and England star subsequently took to social media to thank his colleagues at Sky Sports.
Alongside a photo of himself with the award, Gary wrote on Twitter: “Delighted to win a @RTS_media award last night for Best Presenter , commentator and pundit. Thank you so much to everyone at Sky for your brilliant work and also to all the football fans that make the game what it is [heart emoji] (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hegerty is related to royalty.
The 63-year-old TV personality has been dubbed Queen Anne by her co-stars on ‘The Chase’ after discovering her royal links on the new ITV show ‘DNA Journey’.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Anne was excited and fascinated to learn she has royal relations.
“It was a big shock to her but a very nice one and she was very interested to delve into the details to find out more about it.”
Shaun Wallace also appears in the first episode of the new series, and he joked about having to now “bow and curtsy” to Anne.
He said: “Without spoiling anything, we call her ‘Queen Anne’, because obviously she’s the queen of quizzing, but we have to really bow and curtsy to her now!”
By contrast, Anne recently admitted she was “pathetic” during her time on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The TV star confessed that it came as “a bit of a surprise” to her that she was the “underdog” during her series.
She said: “I thought I was going to be great.
“I didn’t expect to be so pathetic, so that was a bit of a surprise. I didn’t expect to go in there and be the underdog because I didn’t expect to be so absolutely freaked out by everything.”
Anne now wishes she had been more prepared before heading into the show.
She said: “One of the things I regret is my agent asked me if I wanted to go to the zoo and do a desensitisation course, and I said, ‘No, no, no, I’ll be fine,’ but I really wish I had.
“I found I was deeply freaked out by anything that scuttled.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran’s romance has reportedly “come under some strain”.
The 25-year-old star and Toby, 22, met on ‘Love Island’ and quickly fell in love with each other – but they’re now struggling to make time for their relationship.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: “Chloe and Toby really love each other but their relationship has come under some strain in recent weeks,
“They are both really busy with work, so they haven’t seen as much of each other, and there is the added pressure of transferring a reality TV romance into everyday life. It’s not easy.”
The blonde beauty has recently struggled to find time for Toby, as she’s been preparing for her next TV assignment on ITV’s ‘The Games’.
Chloe has been drafted in as a reserve for the series and she’s pushing herself to her limit in her preparation.
Despite this, the insider added: “They are still talking regularly and hoping to work things out.
“It’s encouraging that they are communicating and who knows, perhaps taking a bit of time apart will make them much stronger in the end?
“Only time will tell, but neither of them wants to admit defeat. They don’t want people to see their romance as another reality TV casualty, because they’ve always been the real deal as a couple.”
Chloe and Toby agreed to move in together as soon as they left the ‘Love Island’ villa.
However, Chloe previously dismissed concerns that they were moving too fast.
She said: “I have never lived with a boyfriend before but don’t forget we lived in really intense conditions all summer, we were together 24/7 – this is nothing.
“This is very easy; there has been no adjustment period because we’re so used to being around each other.
“People have the assumption that it’s a bit ‘too soon’ but they forget how intense ‘Love Island’ is – I can never explain it to someone, until you’ve been in it you don’t get it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Giedroyc admits the war in Ukraine has “resonated very strongly” with her.
The 53-year-old TV presenter hosted the Concert for Ukraine on ITV, and she explained that the situation struck a chord with her as her own dad was once a refugee.
Mel – who is of Polish-Lithuanian descent – said: “The situation in Ukraine resonated very strongly with me because my own dad was a refugee about 80-odd years ago, at the age of ten.
“He was forcibly ejected from his home with his mum and his two sisters and they faced a very, very perilous future – which is obviously what we are seeing every day now when we watch the news, as if history is repeating itself.”
Mel recently travelled to the Ukrainian border with Romania, and during her time there, she spoke to families that fled their homes in the wake of the Russian invasion.
She said: “What’s so weird is it took me about six hours to get here, three hours on a plane and a few hours in a car – and here we are.
“It’s like a different planet. And I feel weird because I’m going back to my cosy home and to my family.
“And so many people that we’ve met today, they don’t know when they are going home. It must be a really horrible feeling.
“It’s brutal is what it is, it’s brutal.”
The Concert for Ukraine has already raised more than £13.4 million.
The event in Birmingham was broadcast on ITV and featured a star-studded line-up that included the likes of Camila Cabello, Anne-Marie and Gregory Porter.

OHMYGOSSIP — Simone Ashley is “going to be back” for the third season of ‘Bridgerton’.
The ‘Sex Education’ star is “just getting started” with the Netflix period drama and confirmed she and Charithra Chandran – who plays her little sister Edwina Sharma – will be back for the next instalment.
The 27-year-old actress told Deadline: “We’re going to be back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started.”
Simone – who plays Kate Sharma in the Shonda Rhimes created show based on the book series by Julia Quinn – revealed that the next series will be getting a new showrunner with Jess Brownell as she addressed “the push and pull” between her and her future husband Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey).
She said: “We have the amazing Jess Brownell who is taking the lead as showrunner in Season 3. In Season 2, there was a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, there were complications with the family, and then they find each other towards the end. I think everything is just starting.”
For the third season, Simone really would “like to see Kate just let go a bit more and play more”.
She added: “She’s in charge of the household now and she’s got big boots to put on. I think she can do it. I want to keep that softness and vulnerability to Kate, for sure, and she can share that with Anthony. I’m just excited for her to have a home and to have a family.”
Simone admitted to being “excited” to see Kate develop as a character after she admitted her true feelings to her little sister’s betrothed.
She said: “I’m excited to see her grow. I think I’d like to see Kate being much braver and less headstrong and more heart strong.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Emmerdale’ star Dominic Brunt is gutted to have to miss his first day off work in 25 years, after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 51-year-old star – who plays Paddy Kirk on the long-running ITV soap – hadn’t called in sick once in a quarter of a century, and is annoyed that he has to miss filming due to catching the virus, but reassured viewers he’s in “good health”.
He tweeted: “After 25 years at @emmerdale without a single day off, I have succumbed to the dreaded ‘rona. I have been ridiculously careful but tomorrow will be be the first time in a quarter of a century. (sic)”
He confessed: “Now THAT p***** me off. Fortunate to have good health though and thankful. Love to all.”
Last March, Dominic beamed that he was “absolutely buzzing” after having his COVID vaccine.
The soap legend is used to administering jabs into animals as his character, vet Paddy, but he was on the receiving end of the vaccination, and was delighted to be given a free sticker.
He wrote on Twitter atthe time: “Absolutely buzzing today. I got a free sticker with my jab. A lolly would have been nice but a sticker will do as I was very brave. Thank you #NHS x (sic)”
Dominic’s former co-star Tom Lister – who played Carl King on the show from 2004 to 2012 – joked he was “livid” upon hearing about his ex-colleague’s sticker, because he didn’t get anything after his jab.
He wrote: “I’m livid. I got nothing! Not even a High five (sic)”
Dominic recently reflected on how the past 25 years have flown by.
He said: “I saw a picture the other day for the 25th anniversary and I’m in the picture, and I just think, ‘Oh my god! 25 years ago? It feels like seven!’
“Your life just flashes along so quickly, but I’ve been so lucky – God knows how many bullets I’ve dodged in that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt believes cows talk to one another in different dialects.
The former ‘Gogglebox’ star, who is set to appear on the BBC Two show ‘Pilgrimage’, has expressed her fascination with animal language and teased she’d be discussing differing cow lingo whilst on the series – which follows a group of celebrities on a religious trek from Ireland to Scotland.
She told the Daily Star’s Hot TV column: “One of my favourite facts ever is that cows moo in regional accents
“A scouse cow sounds different to a Geordie cow. There are slight differences I promise you.”
The 31-year-old reality star will be exploring her religious beliefs on the BBC Two show – which launches on April 8 – alongside several other celebrities including ‘Emmerdale’ actress Louise Clein, comic Shazia Mirza, cricketer Monty Panesar, former ‘Countdown’ host Nick Hewer, Paralympian Will Bayley and ‘Changing Rooms’ interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Scarlett was also keen to discuss aliens and UFOs during her time on the programme but was her co-stars didn’t share her enthusiasm for extraterrestrials.
A TV insider said: “She was quickly shut down by our celebrities. None of them took the subject seriously and the idea of the pilgrimage was to discuss religious beliefs, not UFO sightings.”
The star is no stranger when it comes to conspiracy theories as she previously stated she believed in the existence of mermaids and thought that men had a secret lust for fish.
Speaking on her ‘Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe’ podcast she said: “When we were cave men and women, what’s to say there weren’t hybrids – like fish people.
“What’s to say that when there were meteors and stuff people reclused (sic) into the ocean and somehow evolved into getting gills, I don’t know how, and became fish-human hybrids.
“We do not know what is underneath the ocean.
“There’s a place where mermaids live – it’s called Atlantis.
“It makes me feel better to know that when I’m splashing around in the sea on holiday that there is potentially a mermaid version of me out there, singing her heart out.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Walker has revealed she likes snooping on her cast mates when taking on new projects.
The 51-year-old actress has admitted that she likes to look up her fellow actors and actresses on the internet before she appears in a new programme.
Nicola – who played detective DCI Cassie Stuart in the hit series ‘Unforgotten’ – told the Daily Star’s Hot TV column: “You have to pretend you don’t know anything about them. It is my favourite bit when I say, ‘So are you married? Do you have children?’ I know I’ve already looked you up on Wikipedia’.
“Isn’t it terrible?”
Nicola will reprise her role as divorce lawyer Hannah Stern in the third and final series of the BBC drama ‘The Split’ and hinted what viewers can expect from the show’s concluding season.
Speaking to ‘What to Watch’, Nicola said: “I don’t think it’s going to go where you might imagine… It’s beautifully complicated and Abi Morgan [the show’s writer] doesn’t shy away from how messy this will get. Nathan goes through the wringer. But they both get into trouble. At times they behave beautifully and at others, you want to kick both of them out the door! You’ll shout at all of us, it’s not easy to pick who to bless and who to blame.”
Nicola confessed that she is sad that the show is coming to an end.
She said: “The punishment for being involved with Abi’s great writing and all these brilliant, lovely actors and crew is that it’s hard to let them go. I needed tissues when I read the scripts. I found it upsetting in more than one story. But it’s joyful too! I can’t hint at anything else, apart from the fact that it ends with a wedding…”
