Dave Myers returns to TV after cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Myers is “over the moon” after returning to TV following his cancer diagnosis.
The ‘Hairy Bikers’ star appeared as a guest on the BBC programme ‘Saturday Kitchen’ today (10.12.22) and was thrilled to be back on screen after announcing that he was undergoing chemotherapy earlier this year.
The 65-year-old chef – who was joined on the show by his ‘Hairy Bikers’ partner Si King – said: “It’s lovely to be back. It has been a rough year, I can’t pretend otherwise, and there were some times when I didn’t think I would be here for Christmas.
“I’ve got to give a shout to the doctors and nurses in Birmingham who put me back together, the surgeon who get me walking again and nurse Marion who, before my chemo, brings me cake in. Best banana bread ever.
“But it is lovely to be back. Si’s been looking after me, filling my freezer with mince and dumplings. Being back on ‘Saturday Kitchen’ is great, I think the first time we were here was 15 years ago.”
Dave recently said that the his life will “never be the same again” after his cancer ordeal.
He said: “I tell you. I’ll feel I’ve made it when I get the all-clear from this bloody cancer. That’s going to be completely life-changing, life-affirming.
“And life never will be the same again.”
Dave has endured numerous chemotherapy sessions and explained that he wouldn’t wish the process on anybody.
He said: “Fortunately I think the chemo’s working. But the effect that chemotherapy has on you … every day is a school day.
“My eyes are sore because my eyelashes have fallen out. It’s c*** like that, that’s really irritating.”

Kerry Katona signs up for The Big Celebrity Detox

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona has signed up for ‘The Big Celebrity Detox’.
The former Atomic Kitten singer will star in the new extreme reality show that sees contestants trying out bizarre health treatments such as genital steaming.
The E4 show will air in early 2023 and Kerry, 42, will be joined by stars from shows such as ‘Love Island’ and ‘Ibiza Weekender’.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Kerry is always TV gold so bosses were desperate to sign her up for this show.
“She’s always up for off-the-wall things and is hilarious to watch, so they know she’ll have viewers in stitches.”
As well as the wacky treatment procedures, contestants on the show will take on hardcore counselling sessions with a therapist.
The source said: “Viewers will see Kerry working through some painful trauma she has been through in her life in recent years. Kerry is quite a spiritual person, so the experience is very cathartic and emotional for her.”
Channel 4 confirmed that the other contestants will be revealed in the coming weeks.
A spokesperson said: “The line-up for the show will be confirmed in due course.”
Former ‘Love Island’ star Megan Barton Hanson is also taking part but is said to have quit after just two days of filming as the programme was too “extreme” for her.
A source said: “Megan realised very quickly into filming that the show was a bit too much for her.
“The ‘treatments’ are really full-on and quite radical, and she just felt like she had bitten off more than she could chew.
“It wasn’t the show’s fault, they were upfront about what she was signing up for, but Megan didn’t really appreciate the reality of how intense it all would be until she got on set.”

Sir Tony Robinson, who worked with Ruth in 2009, also paid tribute to the late actress, who was 79 when she died.
The ‘Blackadder’ legend wrote: “So sad to hear my lovely friend Ruth Madoc has passed. She was not only funny and highly intelligent, she was smart, kindly, a loyal trade unionist, and wore her heart on the left. She’ll be much missed.”
Former ‘Family Fortunes’ presenter Les Dennis and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth both remembered the ‘Skinny Fat’ actress as “lovely”.
Les tweeted: “So very sad to hear that lovely Ruth Madoc has passed away. She was such a talented and lovely woman. Thoughts with her family.”
Gyles wrote: “This is such sad news. Ruth was a very lovely person – and a wonderfully gifted actress. I was lucky enough to get to know her through my best friend from school, Simon Cadell. In Hi-De-Hi they were irresistible. RIP Ruth Madoc and thanks for the memories. Goodbye campers!(sic)”

Rhod Gilbert feeling optimistic in cancer battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Rhod Gilbert is feeling “optimistic” in his battle with cancer.
The 53-year-old comedian revealed in July he was undergoing treatment at Velindre Cancer Hospital Centre in Cardiff, and after undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, he doesn’t know if “it has worked” but he’s trying to be positive.
He said: “The care I’m having is beyond words.
“I’m feeling happy, positive and optimistic. I’m feeling good and feel like I’m recovering day-by-day.
“I hope that 2023 is a better year and I can start having fun again.”
The former ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ host told how he was “struggling” after recording a show in Cardiff in April, and then his condition deteriorated while he was in Cuba on a fundraising trek for Velindre, the charity he is now receiving care from, and he was eventually diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
He told BBC Radio Wales: “I had a terribly sore throat, tightness through my neck. I was having to cancel shows because I couldn’t breathe.
“I was having all sorts of problems and we couldn’t get to the bottom of it.
“In May, I noticed lumps started popping up in places they shouldn’t be. It turns out I’ve got Stage 4 cancer.
“I also caught Covid on that walk as well. I came home with cancer and Covid from a Velindre fundraising trek… the irony of that! I went as a Velindre patron and came home as a patient.”
While Rhod was forced to postpone his comedy tour, he’s hopeful his illness will inspire more shows in the future.
He said: “Some days I’m well enough to do a bit of writing and I’ve got a feeling when I’ve got through all this there’ll be a show in it.
“The things people say when they find out you’ve got cancer… people panic. There’s a lot of humour in it.
“Hopefully I’m going to jot it all down and one day bring it to the stage.”

Bowen Yang among new additions to Wicked cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Bowen Yang has joined the cast of ‘Wicked.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star is among a slew of new faces unveiled for the two-part adaptation of the popular stage musical, with Marissa Bode, Bronwyn James, Keala Settle, Aaron Teoh and Colin Michael Carmichael also signing up for the project.
Marissa will be playing Elphaba’s sister, Nessarose, and like her character, the actress is a wheelchair user.
Bowen and Bronwyn will be playing classmates of Elphaba and Glinda at Shiz University, while Keala will play Miss Coddle, Aaron will portray Avaric and Colin will be Nikidik.
Their casting comes just days after it was confirmed Michelle Yeoh will play Madame Morrible, the Headmistress of Crage Hall at Shiz University who convinces Elphaba to create the flying monkeys, while she sings in the ‘The Wizard and I.’
Ethan Slater was also recently unveiled as Boq.
The Tony-nominated star – who is best known for his role as SpongeBob SquarePants in the musical of the same name – is set to play the love interest of Elphaba’s younger sister, Nessarose, however, he actually has his heart set on impressing Glinda.
The two-parter stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Ariana Grande as Glinda, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, and Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard.
Director Jon Chu decided to make the movie into two parts because it would be “impossible” to put the complex story into a single film.
He said: “Thank you for all the support these past several months in anticipation of the ‘WICKED’ movie. Here’s what happened: as we prepared this production over the last year, it became increasingly clear that it would be impossible to wrestle the story of ‘WICKED’ into a single film without doing some real damage to it. With more space, we can tell the story of WICKED as it was meant to be told while bringing even more depth and surprise to the journeys of these beloved characters.”
‘Wicked: Part One’ is set to be released in December 2024, with the second following in 2025.

Kate Winslet felt ‘in charge’ on Avatar sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet was “large and in charge” on the set of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’.
The 47-year-old actress reunites with director James Cameron in his long-awaited sequel – in which she plays Metkayina matriarch Ronal – and though the xx-year-old filmmaker acknowledged the Oscar-winning star was “traumatised” from their working relationship on ‘Titanic’, she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind this time round.
James told Radio Times magazine: “I think ‘Kate’ came out of ‘Titanic’ a bit traumatised by the scale of the production and her responsibility within it.
“We’ve both been eager over time to work together again, to see what the other is about at this point in our lives and careers.
“She’s very large and in charge on set. You’d swear she was producing the film.”
While Kate previously admitted to being “genuinely frightened” of James while making ‘Titanic’, she said earlier this year she found the director has grown “calmer” over the years, which he agrees with.
He said: “I am definitely a lot more mellow now.
“That doesn’t mean I don’t have a bad day from time to time, but I know to rein that in now.
“Some people come by that innately, I had to learn it.”
Meanwhile, James explained the sequel focuses on emotion and character with a plot that should strike a chord with viewers.
He said: “I’ve been married for 22 years. I have five kids, three of them fully grown.
“In this film, Jake [Sam Worthington’s character] is caught between saving the planet or his family
“And we all have to make those decisions?
“Am I going to vote for the person who’s more likely to keep in a job, or the one that stops climate change.”

Will Mellor wants to win Strictly Come Dancing for mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Mellor wants to win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for his mum.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor and his professional partner Nancy Xu are one of the favourites to win this year’s competition, but if he does bag the Glitterball Trophy, he’ll be handing it straight over to his mother Shirley.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “‘I am dreaming of winning the show so I can give my mum the trophy and put it on her mantelpiece.
“Strictly has been huge, not just for me but for her too, it fills her day and gives her something to look forward to.
“She has a ‘Team Will’ T-shirt that she wears every week, she puts it on in the morning and doesn’t take it off until she goes to bed.”
The 46-year-old star calls his mum every day and she’s always the first person he checks in with to find out what she thought of his performance.
He added: “She’s the first person I call when I dance to make sure she’s enjoyed it, so it’s been huge.
“And that’s why I’ve wanted to stay in as long as I could so she could be on the journey with me.
“I ring my mum every day, especially before bed, as I always worry that she’s sad. But she’s one of those brave women… one of those queens.”
Will – who has two children with wife Michelle McSween – admitted taking part in the show has changed his outlook on life.
He said: “My mind often tells me I can’t do something. It has stopped me from doing things like Strictly for a long time because I’ve always worried about what people would say and listened to people who said it would damage my acting career.
“But losing my dad has changed all that. Life is for living – it isn’t a rehearsal. You only have one life and you need to live it to the max.
“’Strictly’ is the most I have been tested, both mentally and physically. The pressure is unbelievable. It is terrifying, but it is also exhilarating when you accomplish things – and now I have the bug to accomplish lots of things.”

Boy George was ‘provocative’ to spark debate with Matt Hancock

OHMYGOSSIP — Boy George was deliberately “provocative” on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ to spark a reaction from Matt Hancock.
The ‘Karma Chameleon’ hitmaker admitted he repeatedly quizzed his campmate on a wide range of issues in the hope of generating an opinion from the MP and he can understand why people grew “frustrated” because the politician was always evasive.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I’ve been in the business for a long time, and I’ve encountered so many different types of people, all with their own way of coping with being in the spotlight.
“And no one on the show was dislikeable, even Matt. He isn’t direct — there were lots of things he avoided — but I wasn’t surprised by that.
“I asked him about nuclear arms, he didn’t want to go there, trans, he didn’t want to go there — though he wasn’t anti-trans which was good.
“I was being provocative. I wanted to see if I could get through to him.
“I was like, ‘Come on tell me who you are’ and he managed to avoid a lot of those things, which frustrated people.
“It wasn’t our job to put right what Matt has done. With him, a lot of people were angry and upset, with every reason to be.”
George confronted Matt about the COVID-19 measures put in place while he was health secretary, which meant the Culture Club frontman couldn’t be with his mum when she was in hospital, but he insisted he never “bullied” the politician and didn’t want him to have a “horrible” time on the show.
He said: “It was very upsetting and traumatic. And I was talking about it in there, and then I saw him and I thought this is the perfect moment to say something.
“But I was amazed how calm he was, he did not flinch.
“I told him to his face that I thought he should have just apologised for what he did, and not given the ‘guidance’ technicality, because no one cares about that.
“But at that point I was like: ‘I’ve said what I’ve got to say, he’s a person with kids, with a partner and I was very conscious of that.’
“I didn’t bully him. In spite of everything, I didn’t want him to have a horrible time in the camp.”

Daniel Craig always wanted to ‘kill off’ James Bond

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig knew within days of ‘Casino Royale’s release that he wanted James Bond to die.
The 54-year-old actor made his debut as the suave spy in the 2006 movie and hadn’t expected his tenure to last more than one movie, but after seeing the positive reception to the film, he asked producer Barbara Broccoli to come up with a long-term plan for the character.
He said: “I was driving away from the Berlin premiere of ‘Casino Royale’ with Barbara Broccoli.
“I had genuinely thought I would do one Bond movie, then it would be over. But by then we knew we had a hit on our hands. I realised the enormity of it, so I said to Barbara, ‘How many more? Three? Four?’ She said, ‘Four!’ I said, ‘OK. Then can I kill him off?’ She said, ‘Yes.’ ”
Despite the agreement, Daniel returned for a fifth movie, 2021’s ‘No Time To Die’, but he admitted planning for Bond’s death had to be kept secret because studio bosses weren’t thrilled at the idea of killing off the iconic character.
He recalled to Sunday Times Culture magazine: “I said, ‘This is it. I don’t want to do any more.’
“If we kill Bond, we can begin again. I think Barbara thought that too. But, bless them, the studio, MGM, were, like, ‘What are you talking about? Are you out of your minds?’ There was reluctance. So we had to do it in secret, really.”
The film saw Bond killed in an explosion after opting to stay on an island after being deliberately infected by a biological weapon that would mean he could never again touch his lover Dr. Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) or their daughter, and Daniel felt it was the right way to bow out.
He said: “Real tragedy is when you have absolutely no choice. We had to find a way to make his death no choice. It was the happiest Bond had ever been because he’d found exactly what he was looking for. Like everyone on Earth, he was just looking for love.”

Hamza Yassin narrowly misses out on perfect score as he tops ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ semi-final leaderboard

OHMYGOSSIP — Hamza Yassin narrowly missed out on a perfect score as he topped the leaderboard in the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ semi-final.
He and his professional partner Jowita Przystał scored 39 after their first dance in Sunday night’s show (11.12.22) – one point away from a full 40 thanks to Craig Revel Horwood being the only judge to give them a nine out of 10.
But wildlife presenter Hamza still topped the leaderboard as he came away with a total joint score of 76 for his two dances of the show, followed by Molly Rainford and Fleur East, while Helen Skelton and Will Mellor are the bottom pair.
Singer Fleur East and Vito Coppola were the first couple to take to the stage on this week’s show, with the pair dancing the Pasodoble.
After Hamza and Jowitz danced the Charleston for their first performance, judge Craig Revel-Horwood said: “That was full of detail. Those lifts were absolutely crazy spectacular. You were very brave, darling, wearing a kilt in a Charleston.”
Craig’s fellow judge Motsi Mabuse added: “You were so alive, present and you really had everything in control. You guys have lifted the levels of lifts in Strictly. Everything was on point. Guys, exceptional.”
Anton du Beke told the pair: “You brought everything. That was amazing. Well done.”
Craig awarded the pair nine while Motsi gave them 10, head judge Shirley Ballas awarded 10 while Anton scored another 10, prompting a flood of fans to slam Craig online for being to blame they didn’t get a perfect score of 40.
Hamza got 36 out of 40 for his second dance, giving him a total of 76.
Fleur and Vito received 35/40 for their first dance and 39/40 for the second, giving them a total of 74.
Will and his pro partner Nancy Xu got 32 for their first dance and 38 for the second – a total of 70.
Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu received 36/40 and 39/40, totalling 75, while Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez got 36/40 and 36/40, a total of 72.
‘Strictly’ returned to BBC One on Sunday for the five remaining celebrities to take to the dance floor after the show was moved from its usual Saturday slot due to World Cup scheduling.
The results episode will be held on Monday night (12.12.22) at 8.15pm.

Boy George threatened to quit I’m A Celebrity… four times

OHMYGOSSIP — Boy George threatened to quit ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ four times.
The Culture Club singer admitted he’s still surprised he didn’t “do a Gemma Collins” – referring to the reality star who left the show in 2014 after just a few days in camp – and walk out because he got so frustrated at times.
He admitted to The Sun newspaper: “I am a bit of a stomper-outer, I spent the whole of the 80s saying I was going to leave Culture Club. My manager calls it my marching, when I start going, ‘That’s it I’m leaving’.
“So I was amazed how I was able to stop myself from doing a Gemma Collins. I can remember watching her quit and thinking, ‘That could be me’.
“The thing is, the jungle is designed to drive you crazy and it works, because everything in there is impossible. So there were times when I said, ‘If this isn’t beneficial to the show, I’m not doing it’.”
George confirmed reports he had threatened to quit after being denied a golf buggy to take him back to camp after a trial.
He explained: “That’s what happened in the stand-off with the buggy. Basically Sue Cleaver, who is younger than me, had a buggy back after a trial but they wouldn’t get me one.
“My view is if the cameras are on, the lights are on and it’s beneficial to the show, I’ll trudge over any mountain you like covered in animal entrails. But when the cameras are off . . .
“Sue had her buggy and Ant and Dec have gone off in a lovely Range Rover, and I’m like, ‘OK, now there’s a duty of care issue, there’s no way I’m walking up that hill.
“I’m 61, I’m asthmatic, I’m pulling that card. And there’s no reason for this. Unless you can give me a really good reason why I should walk up that hill, I’m not walking up it’…
“I ran into the shed, locked it. This guy from the crew unlocked it. Then I locked it again. Then I started chanting.
“I was laughing a bit, crying a bit, thinking, ‘What is happening?’.
“Then they got me a buggy. And thank God, because it was miles back to the camp.”
Asked how close he was to quitting at the time, George said: “It was close.
“But then once I got in the buggy I was over it and I felt like a total nana. I had to apologise to the security guard later in the car, but he was fine.”
The 61-year-old singer admitted he went on strike a number of times, leaving off his microphone until show bosses agreed to his requests.
He said: “There were moments. I would usually just take off my microphone, put it in the Bushtucker Telegraph cabin and say, ‘Call me when you’ve got my socks’, because it’s unreasonable to not have socks.
“And I did have some victories. I got a water filter installed in the camp after a week of drinking this disgusting water that tasted like wood, like fire.
“I was saying, ‘I’ve had a week of this, it wasn’t in my contract and it’s like torture’. After that they got us electrolytes and put a filter on the pump, so we didn’t have to boil water.”

Dame Julie Andrews cast doubt on her returning for The Princess Diaries 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Julie Andrews doubts she will be reprising her role in ‘The Princess Diaries 3’.
The Hollywood legend portrayed Clarisse Renaldi, the Queen regent of Genovia, in the pair of Disney films alongside Anne Hathaway as her granddaughter Mia Thermopolis, but she believes their ages make it impossible for them to return as the queen and princess.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, 87-year-old Andrews said: “I think we know that it’s probably not going to be possible.
“It was talked about very shortly after [the second sequel] came out, but it’s now how many years since then? And I am that much older and Annie the princess, or queen, is so much older. And I am not sure where it would float or run.”
Last month, it was confirmed that Aadrita Mukerji is writing the script for the upcoming third instalment of the film franchise, which is said to be a continuation of the series as opposed to a reboot.
But Hathaway does not yet have a deal to return to the movie.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that it is hoped she will join the cast if the film moves forward with production.
The month prior, Hathaway, 40, admitted she is “pulling” for a third film in the franchise.
She said: “I would more than entertain it, I’m pulling for it.
“If there’s any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work. We would go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen.”
Garry Marshall’s original coming-of-age comedy came out in 2001 and the sequel in 2004.
But in June, Andrews insisted it is “too late” to make another ‘Princess Diaries’ movie.
She said: “I think it would be too late to do it now. There was talk of a sequel many, many years ago. But I don’t think it ever came to pass. And [director] Garry Marshall then did leave us. Especially [for] me, it’s too far down the line now to go back to it. It’s a lovely thought, but I don’t think it would probably be possible.”
Earlier this year, Hathaway hailed ‘The Princess Diaries’ one of the “greatest gifts” of her life.
She said: “That movie is one of the greatest gifts of my life and always will be. It’s really something to think how loved it is after all these years. It makes people feel comfort. It makes people feel safe. It makes people laugh and they keep discovering it even now. And I was so cared for by Garry Marshall.
“He watched out for me and was so lovely and made me feel like I had worth.
“I never experienced anything a 17-year-old shouldn’t experience nor was I ever put in a position that a 17-year-old shouldn’t be put in. That shouldn’t make you lucky – and it shouldn’t need to be said – but it was. And it does.”

Daniel Craig to star in Queer

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig is set to star in ‘Queer’.
The ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ is attached to star in director Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ seminal 1985 novel of the same name, Deadline reports.
‘Queer’ follows the self-conscious and insecure Lee, who befriends and pursues a recently-discharged American Navy serviceman called Allerton.
The novel is a sequel to the author’s semi-autobiographical novel ‘Junkie: Confessions of an Unredeemed Drug Addict’ and the writer – who penned the book between 1951 and 1953, decades before it was published – previously explained it represented his life off heroin.
Steve Buscemi previously planned to direct a different adaptation of the book in 2011, which had Stanley Tucci, Ben Foster and John Ventimiglia in line to star.
Meanwhile, Daniel recently admitted he knew he wanted James Bond to die as soon as he saw the “enormity” of his first outing of the spy, ‘Casino Royale’ in 2006.

Seann Walsh and girlfriend waiting to find out sex of first child

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann Walsh and his girlfriend Grace Adderley have decided not to find out the sex of their child until they are born.
The comedian – who has just completed a stint on ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ – has admitted he can “only picture” the couple having a son but insisted he’ll be happy with a girl or a boy.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, he said: “We’ve decided not to find out if we’re having a girl or a boy until the big day, and I don’t have a preference, but for some reason I can only picture a boy.”
The pair’s little bundle is due in February.
Meanwhile, the British funnyman also revealed it was Grace who persuaded him to sign up for ‘I’m a Celeb…’, as he was “so petrified” to do reality TV again after his infamous ‘Strictly’ snogging scandal.
He told the publication: “Grace said to me, ‘This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance’. The adventure itself will make it worthwhile – and she was absolutely right.
He added: “I was so petrified of getting backlash. I’d had such a bad experience with all the things that were said about me last time [I did a reality show], the idea of that happening again was terrifying.”
Sean, 36, and professional dance partner Katya Jones, 33, controversially got snapped sharing a kiss despite being in relationships in 2018.
He was subsequently dumped by his then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, and the bad experience led to him having panic attacks.
Seann recalled previously recalled having to “lie down in the street” after suffering a massive attack.
He said last year: “From that point on, my life changed forever. The panic attacks came back – big panic attacks and I ended up having what I later found out were Vertigo Seizures.
“I had one the other day, I just lied down – I had to lie down in the street, it’s quite humiliating. It’s London so nobody gives a s***. I have to relive what happened.
“Still, I can be OK then suddenly the memories of it all come back. It defeats me and beats me until the plates start spinning and I lose balance, fall and start screaming. I still get them.”
Seann admits the kissing incident “destroyed his dreams”.
Speaking on the ‘Take Flight’ podcast, he added: “A kiss and a statement destroyed my dreams and who I was. What I could have been, what my life could have been, what I could have made myself was gone.”
The comedian previously admitted he has had to “do a lot of growing up” over the past few years.
He explained: “You have to learn to like yourself. As a comedian you are going out there and you are looking for the love of strangers.
“I went on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and instead of the love of strangers I got the hate of strangers.
“And so you come out of that thinking, ‘I can’t be looking for the love of strangers any more.’ I have to just like myself.
“I still want to make millions of people laugh, but there has to be a separation. I have to accept what I did wrong, understand that, but also forgive myself.

Binky Felstead expecting baby boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Binky Felstead is expecting a baby boy.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star took to Instagram to share a video of her gender reveal, in which her five-year-old daughter India – who she shares with ex Joshua Patterson – popped a balloon to reveal blue confetti, indicating Binky and her husband Max Darnton are to have a second son, a sibling for their 18-month-old boy Wolfie.
But India was less than impressed with the result, saying: “I don’t want a brother.”
Binky later revealed India is “beyond happy” to be having another sibling after realising she will be the only girl.
She wrote in the caption: “We now have a great family video for her 18th birthday #SiblingLove … needless to say she is beyond happy now we’ve sat her down and she has realised she is the only princess still (sic)”
Binky recently revealed she has been craving takeaway pizza and cheese on toast, but is trying not to “beat herself up” about her food desires during her pregnancy.
She said: “The first trimester is always a bit tricky, but it wasn’t too bad this time around. I’m trying to not beat myself up for eating what I want like Domino’s or cheese on toast with Marmite.
“We’re normally a very healthy family, cooking good meals and staying active, but all I want to eat at the moment are the beige foods.”
The star previously announced her third pregnancy on Instagram.
In a video uploaded to the social media site, she was seen standing alongside her husband Max – who she married last year – telling their son and her daughter about her pregnancy.
While taking a stroll in the park, India is handed pictures of the ultrasound, and she happily holds up the photos of the scan.
