David Blaine and Eamonn Holmes reunited 18 years after awkward interview

OHMYGOSSIP — David Blaine wanted to capture the green room’s attention with his infamously awkward interview with Eamonn Holmes.
The American magician was reunited with the TV presenter 18 years after he appeared on ‘GMTV’ and refused to speak during what Eamonn has described as one of his worst TV moments to date.
Instead, David chose to show Eamonn the eye he had drawn on his palm which he told the Northern Irish broadcaster was for “protection”.
Opening up about the memorable interview on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, David revealed he got the idea for the stunt because of a noisy green room where none of the friends and family were paying attention to the guests’ interviews.
He told Eamonn: “Nobody was watching their friends go on, so I was like ‘I’m going to make sure that they will stop and look’.
“So I was thinking a card trick would be too boring, it’s not gonna stop the people in the green room from chatting. So I last minute came up with that idea, so I did the whole thing, which i thought was funny myself.”
Although the presenter wasn’t amused at the time, David said he quickly realised he’d done the right thing when he left the studio.
He added: “I just took the mic off and went, and when I walked past the green room I looked over into the room and every person in the room was [open mouthed] like they had seen the craziest thing.”
Eamonn has spoken about the interview in the past, and previously admitted he was “dying” on air as he tried to make something from David’s reserved responses.
He explained: “He just refused to talk and so I did all the talking and then he showed me the eye that he had drawn on his palm.
“I asked, ‘What’s that?’ and he said, ‘Protection,’ and I said, ‘Protection from what?’ and he said, ‘Death.’ I thought, ‘Well, I’ll need that because I’m dying on my feet here.’ ”

Grange Hill’s Lee MacDonald won’t let kids see ‘heavy’ drug episodes

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘Grange Hill’ star Lee MacDonald won’t let his young kids watch his alter ego Samuel ‘Zammo’ McGuire’s dark drug addiction episodes.
The 50-year-old actor played the student in the hit children’s drama series between 1982 and 1987, and he refuses to let his stepdaughter Katie and son Harry, who are both 11, see the “heavy” episodes despite the programme being viewed by families.
He told website What’s On TV: “I’ve got a stepdaughter, Katie, and a son Harry, who are both 11.
“They’ve watched the first few episodes and they absolutely loved them – they were eight or nine at the time.
“But I stopped them from watching the drugs storyline, and they still haven’t watched it to this day, just because I thought it was a bit heavy.
“But (when it originally aired) any age could’ve watched it, and it was quite hard hitting. I remember there was a bit in the toilet, where I was spaced out.”
Lee – who appeared as bus driver Terry in BBC One soap ‘EastEnders’ on Thursday night (06.06.19) – wasn’t aware of how much the story would affect viewers until he started visiting rehab centres for research and praised the team for doing a “really” good job of approaching the storyline with care.
He added: “At the time, we were just having really good fun, and then they (the production team) said to my parents, ‘We want Lee to do a heroin storyline.’ I don’t think they were that aware of heroin at that time.
“Anthony Minghella (director of ‘The English Patient’) was the script editor, and it was done really well.
“Before we started filming, I would go to drug rehabilitation centres to talk to ex-drug addicts, and that was when it hit home and I realised what kind of storyline was in front of us.
“But I didn’t take any of the work home.
“You do the scene and as soon as they say ‘cut’, because you’re so young, you snap out of the character really quickly and forget about it until the next day and the next scene.”

Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen only argue when apart

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Buckland only argues with husband Alex Bowen when they are apart.
The pair – who met on the 2016 series of ‘Love Island’ – tied the knot at Gosfield Hall, in Essex, south east England, last September and the 25-year-old star can’t explain why their relationship works, but she admitted that they work better when they are “constantly” together.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I just feel like we work, there’s no way to explain it.
“We were very lucky and I’m very lucky that we met, and I’m very grateful.
“Finding your soulmate is like finding a needle in a haystack.
“It might happen, it might not, and we’ve just been very lucky people to find someone we work with and we want to be with each other constantly.
“I’ve said to people before we only argue when we’re not together.
“We seem to work better when we’re stuck by each other’s sides.
“You’ve got to keep having fun and remember life’s too short…”
The happy couple couldn’t hold back their emotions as they clapped eyes on each other for the first time on their big day.
Olivia said previously: “When we saw each other we just burst into tears. I was really trying to hold it together and compose myself, because I didn’t want to fully lose it.”
Alex added: “I cried when I looked at her. I was actually crying before she got out of the car!
“I turned away while all the bridesmaids walked down the aisle and my best man started crying and another one of the ushers.
“I was like, ‘Lads, stop it.’ I heard someone say, ‘She looks beautiful,’ and I was like, ‘Argh.’
“The registrar gave me the signal to turn round and, as soon as I did, I just burst out crying even more.”
The loved-up par – who celebrate their first anniversary on September 15 – were overwhelmed and Olivia admitted it felt like the ceremony didn’t happen because it was “so perfect:”.
She said: “The wedding was overwhelmingly perfect. It feels like it didn’t happen because it was so perfect. I had a vision and it all fitted into place like a puzzle. I was totally speechless the day after.
Alex added: “I can’t describe it with words. It felt like we were in a movie. It was surreal.”
The 27-year-old model arrived at the venue in a helicopter after Olivia had organised the wedding day treat for him as a surprise.
She added: “I saw Alex land in his helicopter as it was right outside the bridal suite. I organised it for him as a surprise.
“We went mental when we heard it.
“I didn’t watch him get out because I didn’t want to ruin it for myself.”

Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague goes on date with Curtis Pritchard tonight

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly-Mae Hague goes on a date with Curtis Pritchard immediately after flirting up a storm with Tommy Fury on tonight’s (07.06.19) episode of ‘Love Island’.
Viewers voted boxer Tyson Fury’s sibling as the hunk they’d most like to see her on a date with last night (06.06.19), but the blonde bombshell receives a text asking her to get Tommy to go and collect her next date, despite the pair hitting it off as fellow Mancunians.
As soon as she meets Tommy, Molly-Mae tells him: “Your eyes are amazing.”
He gushes back: “Likewise. You are … amazing! Looking at you now, you’re 100% my type.”
The hunk then asks: “Where are you from by the way?”, to which she giggles: “I live in Manchester! We’re literally neighbours.”
The smooth-operator continues to work his charm and says the 20-year-old influencer is his “ideal woman”.
He tells her: “You’re literally my ideal woman. You’re a gym girl. You’re beautiful.”
However, the pair are soon separated as Molly-Mae’s text arrives.
The message reads: “Molly-Mae, it’s time for your second date and this time it is up to you. Please send Tommy to get the boy of your choice. #TakeYourPick #OneOutOneIn.”
Tommy is clearly a little miffed by the situation and Molly-Mae quips:
“Are you fury-ous?!”, a nod to his last name.
Tommy leaves the Hideaway to collect Curtis – the brother of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional AJ Pritchard – and tells the dancer to prepare himself.
He says: “She’s taking another date and guess who she wants? Curtis … you’re up. Go get yourself ready bro.”
It’s not just Tommy who is put out by Molly-Mae and Curtis’ date, as he shared an imitate kiss under the covers with Amy Hart in the last episode.
The pair have been inseparable ever since Curtis stole the former Miss United Kingdom from Anton Danyluk earlier in the week.
Elsewhere, Sherif Lanre tries to win back Anna Vakili and the first recoupling of the series will see one boy dumped from the Island.
‘Love Island’ airs tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two in Ireland and ITV2 in the UK.

Lucy Pargeter splits from fiance

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Pargeter has split from her long-term partner.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star – who plays pregnant landlady Chas Dingle in the ITV soap – has called time on her relationship with her boyfriend Rudi Coleano but they’re remaining amicable for their three daughters; Lola, 13, and two-year-old twins Missy and Betsy.
A spokesperson for the pair told Digital Spy in a statement: “Lucy Pargeter has confirmed she has separated from her long term partner Rudi Coleano and while no longer together their main priority is raising their three daughters.”
The pair were engaged for 12 years but never actually made it down the aisle.
Speaking in 2012, the 42-year-old actress said: “We were in Dubai about a month ago and we said: ‘Sod it, while we’re here, let’s do it’.
“Then I thought all our mates would be like, ‘Oh cheers, thanks for the invite’.”
The brunette beauty – who conceived her twin girls via IVF in 2017 following an unsuccessful round in 2015 – recently said she and Rudi were hoping to give IVF one more shot in the future as they still have two frozen embryos.
She said previously: “We still have two frozen embryos but I can guarantee they will be more girls. Mind you, most people say that when you go from two to three children, it’s a massive difference, so three to four might not be that bad.”
Meanwhile, Lucy is currently wrapped up in a big storyline on ‘Emmerdale’ as her alter-ego is pregnant with her third child after her daughter Gracie died from bilateral renal agenesis just minutes after she was born late last year.

Callum Macleod get dumped from Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Callum Macleod has been dumped from the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 28-year-old aircraft engineer has become the first contestant to get the boot from the sun-soaked love shack after no one picked him to partner up with in the show’s second re-coupling in Friday (07.06.19) night’s episode.
He said after getting the axe: “I came here to find my wife and obviously I have not found her but I’m still young so hopefully I’ll find her very soon.”
The Welsh hunk was originally coupled up with Amber Gill but the pair failed to bond on an intellectual level so she dumped him for Anton Danyluk.
The 21-year-old beauty therapist said of the Scottish gym owner: “I would like to couple up with this guy because we have good banter together, we bounce off each other and we have a good friendship.
“I would like to keep him so he has the opportunity to meet someone.”
Despite being over the moon that he has at least another few days in the villa thanks to Amber, Anton was no doubt devastated that Anna Vakili picked Sherif Lanre as he was hoping to win her over with his light-hearted jokes.
Amber wasn’t the only one to pick someone based on friendship as Yewande Biala decided to couple up with Michael Griffiths again out of pure loyalty.
She said of the heavily-tattooed hunk: “We started off really shaky but every day I feel like I’m getting to know him more and more.”
Amy Hart has been getting to know new boy Curtis Pritchard over the last few days since he chose to recouple with her earlier this week – and it seems they could be heading for true love as the professional dancer’s head wasn’t swayed by new girl Molly-Mae Hague, even though she invited him into the hot tub for a date.
The air hostess said of the hunk: “He’s handsome, he’s funny, he treats me like an absolute princess. Coming into the villa, I thought I would be on the sidelines. I never thought I’d find someone this early.”
Lucie Donlan had a difficult decision to make as she’s been locked in an emotional love triangle with Joe Garratt and Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy Fury.
However, despite feeling jealous when Molly took Tommy on a date, the surfer-turned-model chose to re-couple with Joe again as she can see a future with him.
She explained: “It’s been really hard because I’ve spent a lot of time with two guys in here who are completely different but have amazing points about them both. I’ve found it really hard to decide this evening. I’m very attracted to him and I think I could see a future with him. So the guy I would like to couple up with is Joe.”
That left Molly with Callum or Tommy and she chose the latter as she wants to get to know him a bit better having only spent a few hours with him.
She said: “I would like to couple up with his guy because since coming into this villa he’s come up to me and ask if I’m OK. I just have to go with my gut.”

Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain’s Macarena prank on James McAvoy

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner and Jessica Chastain pranked James McAvoy with the ‘Macarena’ on set.
The ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ actresses noticed their co-star wasn’t in the best mood one day during filming, and so they convinced the stunt team controlling him with wires to make him perform the dance to the 1993 pop hit while he was suspended in midair.
Speaking to Collider, Sophie said: “James was in a bit of grump, as he always is – no, he’s not. He was in a bit of a grump one day, so Jess and I decided that he needed cheering up.
“So he was on wires for this scene, and we decided that we wanted to have the ‘Macarena’ play on the sound system, and the stunt guys would kind of puppeteer him as a surprise. It was a good prank!”
Jessica added that it seemed to do the trick, and he learned not to be “grumpy again”.
She joked: “And I’ll say this – he was never grumpy again. He learned his lesson.”
The two stars also opened up on their first movie and TV crushes, and Sophie admitted she liked WWE superstar John Cena until the wrestler turned actor took up too much room when they ended up sat next to each other on a flight.
She said: “I mean, I liked John Cena! I did. My brothers used to watch wrestling – that’s a TV show, right? Then I sat next to him on a plane and it was so uncomfortable because he’s so jacked, and then I didn’t like him anymore after that.”

Sigourney Weaver to star in Ghostbusters 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Sigourney Weaver will star in ‘Ghostbusters 3’.
The 69-year-old actress has confirmed that she will reprise her role as cellist Dana Barrett, whose apartment was haunted by an evil spirit in the original 1984 film, in the new movie and she will be reuniting with co-stars Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.
Sigourney told PARADE magazine: “It’s going to be crazy working with the guys again!”
Speaking about the original ‘Ghostbusters’, she added: “I knew it would be big. The script was so funny and full of heart. ‘Ghostbusters’ changed my life.”
‘Ghostbusters 3’ is being helmed by original director Ivan Reitman’s son Jason and Dan previously praised Jason, 41, for the “beautiful script” he has penned for the third film.
He said: “Ivan Reitman’s son Jason has written a beautiful script, I can’t say too much about it but it’s going to get made and hopefully there’ll be some familiar faces.”
Aykroyd added that the third instalment of the franchise is “so different” from the first two films, and feels the movie is more “warm” and “heartfelt” than its predecessors.
He said: “It’s so different from even the first and second (film)… This just takes it to a new generation and a new direction that is so warm, heartfelt and indeed, quite scary when you confront some of the issues that are being discussed.”
Aykroyd starred as Dr. Ray Stantz alongside Bill Murray as Dr. Peter Venkman and Harold Ramis as Dr. Egon Spengler and Rick Moranis as Louis Tully in the first ‘Ghostbusters’ film.

‘Explosive’ confrontation for Emmerdale’s Joe Tate

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire King’s ‘Emmerdale’ character Kim Tate is set for an “explosive” confrontation with step grandson Joe Tate.
Although it was believed that Joe (Ned Porteous) had been killed by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), it was recently revealed that he is actually still alive and Claire is hoping that Joe will return to ‘Emmerdale’.
She told The Sun Online: “I can’t see him coming back in the foreseeable future but if he did come back and they saw each other I imagine it would quite explosive, wouldn’t you?
“Kim and Joe are cut from the same cloth, and he was from the other side of the Tate family that Kim did not get on with.”
Since Joe’s suspected death, he has been living in Monte Carlo thanks to his friend Graham Foster’s (Andrew Scarborough) help.
A source previously said: “Everyone was convinced he died in October. But he has been alive all this time and secretly living abroad with ¬ Graham’s help.
“Unsurprisingly, it comes as a huge shock to the rest of the village. Cain in particular will be stunned. He’s been living with the belief he murdered Joe, with Debbie Dingle blaming him for her loss.
“But as Soapland has seen time and again, unless a body or burial is seen, it’s likely a character could come back at any point – and that’s the case with Joe.”
As well as Cain being pleased by Joe’s return, Jeff will no doubt be happy to see Ned on set again as just two months ago he said he hoped Joe might “walk back through the door one day”.
And the actor had discussed the possibility with his co-star Charley Webb, who plays his daughter Debbie Dingle, who was due to marry Joe before he went missing and was presumed death.
He said: “Both Charley and I have talked about it. We’ve not spoken to Jane Hudson, our exec producer, but me and Charley love working together.”

No regrets for Love Island’s Callum Macleod

OHMYGOSSIP — Ousted ‘Love Island’ contestant Callum Macleod has “no regrets” about his short stint on the show.
The 28-year-old aircraft engineer became the first contestant to be evicted from the sun-soaked love shack after no one picked him to partner up with in the show’s second re-coupling in Friday (07.06.19) night’s episode.
The Welsh hunk was originally coupled up with Amber Gill but the pair failed to bond so she dumped him for Anton Danyluk.
However, Callum has no hard feelings and said: “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t meet anyone that I connected with but I had such good fun in there.
“Even though I didn’t meet anyone that I could potentially be with on the outside, I loved it, which is a great bonus.
“I would have taken any opportunity like this. It was a fabulous thing to do and a really positive thing in my life.”
And he insisted that he only wanted a genuine relationship from the show.
He said: “A lot of us were in friendship couples. There was only one solid couple in there, and maybe a couple of love triangles.
“I didn’t go in with a game plan, I was going in there to meet someone.
It’s pot luck in a way. If someone walks in that you have a connection with, you’re onto a winner, but if they don’t I wasn’t going to fake it with anyone just to stay in the villa, because I don’t think that’s fair on the person.”
Meanwhile, Amy Hart has been getting to know new boy Curtis Pritchard over the last few days since he chose to recouple with her earlier this week – and it seems they could be heading for true love as the professional dancer’s head wasn’t swayed by new girl Molly-Mae Hague, even though she invited him into the hot tub for a date.

Emma Thompson instantly fell in love with Late Night script

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Thompson instantly wanted to star in ‘Late Night’.
The 60-year-old actress was drawn to the role of talk show host Katherine Newbury right away when she read the script, and she told her manager to make sure she landed the part.
She told ‘HeyUGuys’: “It’s not just the role, it’s the whole script. It was such a good script.
“I mean, Mindy did some work on it but I just remember reading it and going, ‘Oh my God, this is absolute pure gold’, and ringing my manager going ‘you have to make this happen.’ ”
The star explained that although there aren’t many female late night talk show hosts to compare her character to, she was able to take inspiration from the industry as it is.
She said: “The thing is, the whole point about Katherine is she’s based herself on the male talk show, and it’s Mindy’ character’s input and inspiration that makes her suddenly turn round to the writing room and say, ‘you know what – let me talk, let me not ape this other people, let me speak to things that mean something to me’. That’s a wonderful scene.”
Kaling – who wrote the movie and also plays Molly Patel – previously admitted she had no back-up plan if Thompson had turned down the role.
The 39-year-old actress said: “She’s done so much drama and not that much comedy, but she’s really funny and came from comedy. It was a stupid thing to do.
“I’m in Los Angeles creepily writing this movie about a woman I was a fan of. She’s hilarious and never gets to do funny parts. She just turned 60, and I was excited to see her in this kind of role.”

Callum Macleod backs Curtis and Amy to win Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Callum Macleod has backed Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart to win ‘Love Island’.
The aircraft engineer left the show on Friday (07.06.19) after failing to find love but he believes Curtis and Amy will go the distance.
Asked who he wanted to see win the competition, he said: “Definitely Curtis and Amy – they’re so well-suited, it’s like they’ve been together for ages already.
“You could definitely see them working on the outside. I hope they do. They’re both really good people.”
Amy has been getting to know Curtis over the last few days since he chose to recouple with her earlier this week – and it seems they could be heading for true love as the professional dancer’s head wasn’t swayed by new girl Molly-Mae Hague, even though she invited him into the hot tub for a date.
The air hostess said of the hunk: “He’s handsome, he’s funny, he treats me like an absolute princess. Coming into the villa, I thought I would be on the sidelines. I never thought I’d find someone this early.”
And Curtis’ brother AJ recently insisted “everyone falls in love” with his sibling.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro has revealed he “can’t wait” to see how things unfold for the 23-year-old hunk on the popular ITV2 dating show.
He said: “I am so excited! Honestly my brother has always supported me through everything and I can’t wait to support him 100 per cent.
“He’s deprived me of my summer though but I just can’t wait. I think the best way to explain my brother is that he’s infectious and everybody falls in love with him.
“As soon as you watch the first episode, if he’s anything like the brother I see off camera, it’s going to be an entertaining show. I can’t wait to see it on camera.”

Nick Knowles admits to driving while speeding and using phone

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Knowles is set to plead guilty to driving while using a mobile phone and speeding.
The 56-year-old ‘DIY SOS’ presenter claims that he was advised to get a lawyer and contest the charges but he has decided to admit he broke the law and take whatever punishment he is given.
Nick told The Sun: “I was advised by some people to get a top lawyer and contest this, but I’ve held my hands up, said I’m guilty (in writing) and will be going to court next week for sentencing.
“I’m expecting to get a ban from driving and I will absolutely accept that because what I did was wrong.
“It’s all too easy to drive a bit too fast or read or send a text, but let me be the lesson to everyone, it’s not OK.”
And Nick revealed that he now puts his phone in the boot before he gets in his car.
He said: “Since this incident I’ve noticed so many doing it and I don’t want to be that person. Texts can wait till I get wherever I’m going.
“I’ve started putting my phone in the boot of my car before I set off driving.
“I have Bluetooth and can answer calls, but it’s out of reach.
“We all need to start realising that no phone call or text is ever that important.”
Nick will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court next Wednesday (12.06.19) for sentencing.

Hugh Jackman was almost fired from X-Men

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman was almost fired from ‘X-Men’.
Although the 50-year-old actor played Wolverine for 16 years and now holds the Guinness World Record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero”, he has admitted that he nearly lost the role during filming on the first movie.
Speaking on stage during his ‘Hugh Jackman. The Man. The Music. The Show.’ world tour at The O2 in London on Friday (07.06.19), Hugh told the story as he talked about his love for his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.
He said: “Five weeks into shooting ‘X-Men’, I was on the verge of getting fired. I haven’t told this story a lot for obvious reasons… The head of the studio pulled me aside at lunch and he told me that they were worried at the studio, that they weren’t seeing on camera what they’d seen in the audition. He said it was like a lampshade is over the light.
“And the very next day the director pulled me aside and told me exactly the same thing, even the whole ‘lampshade over the light’ thing, the same speech. So clearly they’d been talking and I was freaking out. I’m thinking, oh, this is the talk you get before you get fired. And this was the biggest break of my career by a mile up to this point.
“And I went home to Deb, and was complaining to her . So, she listened to me very patiently for about an hour, and finally she put her hand on my shoulder and she said ‘babe, I think you’ve gotta just trust yourself, you’re worrying way too much about what everybody else is thinking, just go back to the beginning, focus on the character, trust your instincts, you’ve got this’. And she was right. And to me, that is love: someone who believes in you even when you don’t really believe in yourself. And this whole show is dedicated to Deb and the kids.”

Crissy Rock rushed to hospital to drain throat abscess

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Benidorm’ star was taken to Aintree hospital in Liverpool where she was diagnosed with quinsy – also known as a peritonsillar abscess, a rare condition which is due to an infection behind the tonsil – and insisted she’d “never felt anything like it”.
Sharing a picture of herself linked up to a cannula on Facebook, she said: “In Aintree hospital got Quincy never felt a pain like it I could swallow drink anything. (sic)”
The 60-year-old actress later thanked the doctors and nurses at the hospital for their care and assured her fans she was recovering after the procedure, and was heading to the theatre to watch country musical ‘Achy Breaky Bride’.
She wrote: “To the doctors and nurses at Aintree hospital thank you for looking after me draining the abscess of my throat…
“Was a tad painful the relief afterwards out wayed the pain now am off to st Helen’s for the play ackey breaky bride xxx yeeh haa. (sic)

“Crissy is now on the mend and recovering well after receiving treatment. She would like to thank all the staff at Aintree hospital who took a lot of time looking after her.”
This news comes after Crissy revealed she was diagnosed with vulva cancer in 2000.
She previously said: “When the doctor said cancer I actually looked around thinking, ‘Who’s he talking to?’
“And then the reason it wasn’t detected is because normally women go for smear tests, but I had an hysterectomy when I was 24 and I didn’t think I needed a smear test.”
The ‘Lady Bird’ actress was forced to undergo surgery after a relapse in 2011, after previously being told she had the all-clear.

Love Island’s Tommy Fury splits up Joe and Lucie in shock re-coupling

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Tommy Fury has torn apart lovebirds Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan after he chose the blonde surfer in a shock re-coupling on Tuesday (04.06.19).
The 20-year-old professional boxer – the younger brother of Tyson Fury – rocked the boat in tonight’s episode when he chose the 21-year-old beauty to be his partner because she caught his eye from the very moment he walked into the villa.
However, there may be a huge feud brewing over the next coming nights as Joe had made it clear to Lucie and all of the guys that he really “liked” her.
Although, in the teaser clip that aired at the end of the episode, Lucie has seemingly forgotten all about her heartbroken man as she was seen knocking back booze and throwing her head back with laughter on a date with the sportsman.
Amber Gill was keen to put her two penneth worth in too as she told sandwich maker Joe that “someone must’ve said something” for Tommy to pick Lucie.
Curtis Pritchard – who arrived late to the villa alongside Tommy – was also given the opportunity to couple up with a taken girl but, luckily for him, he didn’t step on anyone’s toes as she chose Amy Hart, who was paired with Anton Danyluk.
The professional dancer – who is the brother of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ hunk AJ Pritchard – said: “The reason why I’m going to choose this young lady is because she’s funny, she’s good looking, she’s intelligent. So the girl I want to couple up with is Amy.”
His choice of girl came as a slight shock to viewers as he was seen hitting it off with Yewande Biala just moments before he was told to reveal his decision.
‘Love Island’ returns to screen tomorrow (05.06.19) night on ITV2 at 9pm.
