OHMYGOSSIP — Ousted ‘Love Island’ contestant Callum Macleod has “no regrets” about his short stint on the show.
The 28-year-old aircraft engineer became the first contestant to be evicted from the sun-soaked love shack after no one picked him to partner up with in the show’s second re-coupling in Friday (07.06.19) night’s episode.
The Welsh hunk was originally coupled up with Amber Gill but the pair failed to bond so she dumped him for Anton Danyluk.
However, Callum has no hard feelings and said: “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t meet anyone that I connected with but I had such good fun in there.
“Even though I didn’t meet anyone that I could potentially be with on the outside, I loved it, which is a great bonus.
“I would have taken any opportunity like this. It was a fabulous thing to do and a really positive thing in my life.”
And he insisted that he only wanted a genuine relationship from the show.
He said: “A lot of us were in friendship couples. There was only one solid couple in there, and maybe a couple of love triangles.
“I didn’t go in with a game plan, I was going in there to meet someone.
It’s pot luck in a way. If someone walks in that you have a connection with, you’re onto a winner, but if they don’t I wasn’t going to fake it with anyone just to stay in the villa, because I don’t think that’s fair on the person.”
Meanwhile, Amy Hart has been getting to know new boy Curtis Pritchard over the last few days since he chose to recouple with her earlier this week – and it seems they could be heading for true love as the professional dancer’s head wasn’t swayed by new girl Molly-Mae Hague, even though she invited him into the hot tub for a date.
The air hostess said of the hunk: “He’s handsome, he’s funny, he treats me like an absolute princess. Coming into the villa, I thought I would be on the sidelines. I never thought I’d find someone this early.”
