Luke Perry buried at secret site

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Perry has been buried at a secret site.
The ‘Riverdale’ actor passed away earlier this month, days after suffering a stroke, and though his death certificate lists a Tennessee funeral home as his final resting place, sources told The Blast that is not the case but his family are keen to keep the specific location private.
Don Carter, who owns Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, told the website he has no idea why his business is listed on the certificate, though he would have “loved” to have taken care of the burial.
The funeral home operates the Dickson County Memorial Gardens cemetery but Don insisted he is not buried there, while the Cemetery Office for the City of Dickson confirmed Luke’s remains also haven’t been interred at the city’s other cemetery, Dickson Union Cemetery.
And that’s not all as two other funeral homes in Dickson, Dickson Funeral Home & Cremation Center and Spann Funeral Home, also said they did not handle the former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star’s burial service, while no permits for a home burial have been issued for Luke’s farm in the area.
Meanwhile, it has been claimed the actor’s children, 18-year-old Sophie and 21-year-old Jack – who he had with ex-wife Rachel Sharp – are planning to keep his Tennessee farm, on which he raised cattle, so they can continue to spend time there in the future.
Luke’s death certificate was released on Wednesday (13.03.19), in which his passing was
ruled as an “ischemic cerebrovascular accident”, which is commonly known as a stroke.
Luke’s fiancé Wendy Bauer was listed as his next of kin on the papers, and comes after she spoke out for the first time earlier this week when she said the “outpouring of love and support” since the actor’s death has been “a great source of solace”.
She said: “I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support. The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Circa Waves have announced a lock-in to escape the madness of Brexit.
The Liverpool rockers will take over their very own The Circa Waves Tavern at The Monarch in London’s Camden on March 19, where fans can join the ‘T-Shirt Weather’ hitmakers in attempting to banish the “doom and gloom” of the country’s current political predicament over a pint, by having a night off from hearing about the UK’s never-ending withdrawal from the European Union.
The band have launched a guest list for the event, which will also act as an album launch for the band’s forthcoming LP ‘What’s It Like Over There?’, on the band’s website.
Guitarist Joe Falconer said: “We’re all bored the doom and gloom of Brexit, so our plan is to go to the pub and wait for it all to blow over.
“Actually, the plan is to takeover an entire pub, fill with people, play some pool, pull some pints, toast the upcoming release of our new record and just forget about everything else.”
Circa Waves – completed by Kieran Shudall, Sam Rourke and Colin Jones – will be joined by famous faces as they sip on their own beer, which will be served for free, with a special DJ set from the group and special guests.
There will also be signed album posters at the venue on 42 Chalk Farm Lane.
The ‘Fire That Burns’ rockers’ “lock-in to end all lock-ins” comes ahead of their show at the nearby Roundhouse on April 26.
The band’s follow-up to their 2017 LP ‘Different Creatures’ will be released on April 5.

Emily Blunt loves being styled for red carpet events

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt loves the “fantasia” of being styled for a red carpet event.
The ‘A Quiet Place’ star says her stylist Jessica Paster has taught her how to be “bold” with her outfit choices but still always ensure she feels “comfortable”.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter for their 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood issue, she shared: “I do really love red carpets because they’re full of fantasia and it’s so not what I wear every day, and so I think she’s taught me a great deal about boldness and it can bring out an element of yourself you didn’t quite know was there, and I think then the dress never wears you. You’re always comfortable.”
Emily previously revealed that style is “an extension of who you are”.
The 36-year-old actress shared: “What have I learned about style? I’ve learned that I had none before I embarked into this industry, I used to really enjoy wearing men’s waistcoats, quite lurid colours, with white jeans, but like mum jeans, before they were cool. I wonder if I wore that now if I’d be a trail blazer? So I’ve learned that … I think style is an extension of who you are.”
And Emily shared her beauty tips, saying she is learning to “embrace the pale”.
She said: “I’ve learnt that confidence is actually very quiet and it’s not in your face and it’s not chest beating. It’s very still and very quiet. I’ve learnt about beauty that I personally, should not lie in the sun – I am naturally very pale and I should just embrace it. So I’ve learnt to wear sunscreen and embrace the pale.”

Alicia Vikander forgets fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Vikander “forgets” she is famous.
The 30-year-old actress – who is married to Michael Fassbender – admits she is often shocked by how much her life has changed but she only really has to think about it when she’s promoting her work.
She said: “Every time I do press, I’m suddenly met with the reality of my fame. I sometimes forget how my life has changed.”
Alicia and her Irish husband live in Lisbon, Portugal, and though it’s a very different way of life to the ‘Tomb Raider’ star’s native Sweden, they enjoy early mornings in the ocean and practising yoga.
She told America’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I was brought up in a very cold, dark country, and Portugal is the opposite. My husband loves to surf, so we like being close to the sea.”
Alicia has been active in pushing for equality in Hollywood and though she thinks it is “sad” there have been a lack of opportunities for women in the past, she’s very excited about what the future holds following a wave of “big change”.
She said: “It’s sad that a lot of us women haven’t had the opportunity to work together because not enough women were being hired. Suddenly we found a way not only of reaching out and getting to know each other but forging relationships that lead to creative collaborations. I’m working on several projects right now with girls that I met over the past year. That in itself is wonderful proof that a big change has happened.”
One of the things the ‘Danish Girl’ star most loves about her job is being able to push herself – and she thinks she’s good at keeping her feelings hidden when she’s nervous about something.
She said: “In this industry, you must be willing to throw yourself out there, which I enjoy.
“I’m good at hiding all those nerves inside. Something I’ve heard all my life is, ‘Oh, you seem so tough.’ I think one of the main things I do well is to not show that I’m s***ting my pants.”

Howard Stern slams Wendy Williams

OHMYGOSSIP — Howard Stern has branded Wendy Williams a “jealous bitch”.
The 65-year-old DJ hit out at the talk show host after she suggested he had become “so Hollywood” and has lost his edge because he is now “predictable” and spends too much time cosying up to other stars, so the controversial presenter hit back in an expletive-filled rant on his Sirius XM radio show.
He fumed: “Jealous bitch. … You are nobody to me. You’ll never be me, Wendy. You’ll never be me. You can pretend to be me, you can pretend to be like me, but you’re not. You don’t have my wit and you don’t have my talent. … You couldn’t have that career. You’re a fly.
“What evidence do you have that I’m Hollywood, honey? I grew up a scumbag and I’m still treated like a scumbag. … What because I found success now I’m ‘Hollywood?’ What cause I know Jimmy Kimmel? Who am I hanging out with? She doesn’t know who I’m hanging out with. She doesn’t know what I do in this world. She doesn’t know who I’m f***ing with.
“All she talks on that show is about Hollywood. That’s as Hollywood as you get. If anyone in Hollywood called her to hang out, she’d [be there] in two seconds. All of that is a projection!”
The DJ then claimed the 54-year-old star – who recently returned to her eponymous talk show following a long absence due to ill health – wasn’t a “nice person” and branded her a “big pain in the ass”.
Referencing rumours Wendy’s husband, Kevin Hunter, had been unfaithful to her, he said: “What have I done to this woman? Nothing. I’ve been gracious to her.
“Worry about your husband, not me. … F**k you and your dumb show and your mystery illness. She disappears for two months, nobody knows why, and now she’s questioning me? Thanks honey. …. I never fainted on my show either.
“I’m not somebody you want to f**k with, honey. I don’t want to hear your bulls**t. And you’re not a nice person. Nobody likes you, that’s why you can’t go Hollywood.
“People do not like her. [The staff] was doing a dance over at ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ when she was out. She’s a big pain in the ass. I hate to break the news to you, honey. Good thing you hurried back.”
Howard was responding after Wendy suggested he’d toned himself down too much in recent years.
She said: “Howard is so Hollywood right now. And Howard, I love you, but since you’ve gone Hollywood, everything you say is so predictable. Every story is going to be about, ‘Oh, I love this one, and then we went on their yacht.’ He’s a Hollywood insider, which sucks.
“You started like me, being of the people. But at some point you sat behind the microphone for too long and now you are the people. It hurts.”

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau cried on Game of Thrones final day

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikolaj Coster-Waldau cried on his last day of filming ‘Game of Thrones’.
The 48-year-old actor is very pleased with the way the fantasy drama series concludes after eight seasons, and though he didn’t offer any details, he admitted he was emotional after shooting his last scenes as Jaime Lannister.
Asked about his last day on set, he said: “I think I got some dust in my eye.”
But Nikolaj – who has daughters Fillippa and Safina with wife Nukaaka – admitted realisation the show is over may not fully sink in for him until reaches the time filming on a new season usually begins.
He told the new issue of Men’s Health magazine: “Maybe this fall, when we’re not going back to Belfast, that’s when you go, Oh, I guess it really is over.”
And the actor is proud the show is going out on a high, rather than showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff agreeing to keep making more seasons just to make network bosses happy.
He said: “[I’m proud] that D. B. Weiss and David Benioff stuck to their guns and said, ‘This is the story we wanna tell; we’re not gonna extend this’ – because I’m sure HBO would have loved another couple years of this show.
“There’s an audience for it, for sure. But I think everyone who watches the show will appreciate that it’s finished – that it was one story from episode 1 to episode 83, and we told it.”
Jaime infamously fathered three children with his twin sister Cersei (Lena Headey) and despite their incestuous relationship, Nikolaj thinks its one many people can relate to.
He said: “I think most people have at least been attracted to someone you shouldn’t be. Not your sister, but someone you really shouldn’t fall in love with. Like your best friend’s girlfriend. It’s one of the few true love stories in Game of Thrones–Jaime is dedicated to this woman.”

Scotty T turned to cocaine to cope with loss

OHMYGOSSIP — Scotty T turned to cocaine to cope with the loss of his friends.
The ‘Geordie Shore’ star lost his stepfather and some of his closest friends within a short period of time last year and he has admitted that he turned to the drug to help.
He said: “I was using a lot then. But then everything started to go wrong and it got even worse. I lost five people who were very close to me. One of my friends passed away on a rugby tour, another got spiked and died in Sri Lanka. Then my friend Paul died of an overdose in Newcastle. Then my stepdad passed away and then basically my best mate who I went to school with, Sophie Gradon from Love Island, passed away. Then her boyfriend took his own life. I was very close to both of them and that was really hard. I was breaking up with my girlfriend, I was alone in my house and I was like, ‘Why is everyone around us dying.'”
However, Scotty soon realised he was relying on the drug too much and took himself off to a facility in Thailand.
He added: “I got to such a low depressed point but I managed to pull myself out of it. I went to Thailand – when I’ve got myself in these really low points, I’ve got myself out of them and it’s made me stronger. It was a cleanse and I was there for two-and-a-half months. They use cognitive behavioural therapy to help retrain your mind. They taught me how to control my hyperactivity and my ADHD using my mind. I used to need cocaine to get by in the day, but now it’s not like that.”
However, Scotty admits he still takes the drug but knows his “limits” now.
He added to The Sun Online: “Yes it is a slippery slope but I’ve never got to the point where I’m doing it all night. I know it’s an excuse but I can’t put a full stop on that part of my life. I take it on a recreational basis but it’s not a necessity like it used to be. I know my limits.”

Lupita Nyong’o went to some ‘dark places’ filming Us

OHMYGOSSIP — Lupita Nyong’o says she had to go to some “dark places” while filming ‘Us’.
The 36-year-old actress plays a dual role of Adelaide Wilson and her terrifying doppelgänger Red in Jordan Peele’s new psychological horror – which follows a family on vacation who are terrorised with monsters who look exactly like them – and admitted that it was so draining she would have to take naps in between filming.
Speaking on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (13.03.19) she said: “They’re very different, they’re diametrically opposed to each other but they’re also connected, so I had to go to some dark places within myself to find the doppelgänger, Red.
“[I had to] do a crazy voice that was a lot fun to create and I enjoyed the experience. I spent a lot of time between takes sleeping just trying to catch up with myself.”
The ’12 Years a Slave’ star explained that playing two roles was even more challenging as a lot of the time she was acting alone in scenes.
She added: “You never meet your scene partner which is a challenge of its own, someone who’s just an eye line or sometimes a green cross on the wall.”
Lupita has also admitted to being “panicked” playing two characters in the film and felt “freaked out” by her own expectations.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: “I was playing not one, but two characters in the same movie and I was panicked, because usually I have the time it takes to prepare for one film and [even then], the critic in my head is powerful, and she knows how to freak me out.”
“It took having people I love around me who could remind me of the things I wasn’t able to see for myself, and to build that confidence.”
The thriller also stars Lupita’s ‘Black Panther’ co-star Winston Duke as her husband Gabe and Elizabeth Moss as a family friend and will be released on March 22.

Samuel L. Jackson’s favourite scene ever is the end of Pulp Fiction

OHMYGOSSIP — Samuel L. Jackson’s favourite film moment was the diner scene in ‘Pulp Fiction’.
The 70-year-old actor has had numerous iconic roles, but the one that stands above the rest is from the 1994 Quentin Tarantino film in which he plays contract killer Jules Winnfield, who recites the fictionalised bible passage Ezekiel 25:17 to targets before killing them.
At the end of the film, Samuel’s character is explaining to his partner – John Travolta’s Vincent Vega – that he’s turning away from a life of crime after surviving hundreds of bullets, however soon after, a pair of robbers (Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer) stick up the diner leading to him reciting his speech once again, this time with a very different meaning.
In an interview with Esquire, he said: “I guess it would be actually the ultimate scene that everybody turns out to love so much, and it’s the diner scene in ‘Pulp Fiction’.
“Everybody loved the killing ones, but the diner scene, just because there’s so much going on when John [Travolta] and I are sitting there having that conversation prior to what happened, and the bullets not killing us, and he’s making this decision about walking the earth just to see what’s going on.”
Jackson added that by that point in the movie, the speech has become “the biggest threat you’ve ever heard”.
He explained: “So by the time Tim [Roth] gets there and I have an opportunity to do that speech again, the same speech that I’ve been killing people with, and make it make sense in a whole ‘nother kind of way, and, one, it’s just the biggest threat you’ve ever heard in your life.
“And the next, the dude’s like sitting there making a revelation about who he is and where his place is in the world, and who he actually is.
“He said, ‘I’d love to be the shepherd, and that would be great.’ They said that they didn’t know how the movie was supposed to end until I did that scene. But they had no idea that that’s what all that s**t meant until I did it.”

Yvette Fielding’s scariest Most Haunted adventure

OHMYGOSSIP — Yvette Fielding’s scariest ‘Most Haunted’ moment was when she felt ”knives” being “thrown” at the crew.
The 50-year-old television presenter has recalled a particular visit to a council estate in Leeds, where she claims angry spirits were violent to the production team.
She said: “Nobody had been able to live in the place since the 70s and people had complained about being pulled up the stairs backwards, being choked. As soon as you walked in you could hear the furniture being dragged upstairs, but no one was there. Then knives were thrown at us. Two members of the crew got burns on their arms. I remember saying the Lord’s Prayer in the car. Then I put the Mary Poppins soundtrack on and was ready to go a week later.”
The television star also revealed that Standon Hall in Staffordshire was very frightening and she remembered “physically shaking with absolute fear” when she left the location.
She shared: “I was physically shaking with absolute fear and I had to walk out of both those locations and just take an hour to have a break from it. It was just too much. You always question your sanity when you’re in places like that. Objects flying at you that if they hit you they would have hurt you or possibly killed you. You think this is nuts. A normal person would think, this is nonsense.”
Yvette believes in ghosts and spirits and says she has witnessed many paranormal events.
She told the Metro newspaper: “How can you believe in something unless you see it with your own eyes? But I’ve seen it, so I know there are such things as ghosts, spirits, energy we cannot see that manifests itself in certain ways or manipulates objects.”

Kate Ford’s son has the funniest way of drawing attention to his famous mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Ford’s son has resorted to hilarious measures to get his own back when he’s annoyed with her.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star shares 10-year-old son Otis with ex husband Jon Connerty, and has revealed how the youngster has taken to drawing attention to her by shouting out her character’s name “in a northern accent”.
She tweeted: “If my son is annoyed with me he’s taken to shouting it’s Tracy Barlow in a northern accent in public.”
Kate’s followers definitely saw the funny side of Otis’ embarrassing stunt, with many of them praising him for his sense of humour.
One fan wrote: “That is hilarious!! Your son is genius sorry lol xx (sic)”
The 42-year-old actress – who has played Tracey on the ITV soap since 2002, having returned in 2010 after a three year break – often keeps her social media followers entertained with stories from her life away from the soap, and she recently had everyone laughing again when she moaned about the music choices in the car.
She said: “One of the more challenging aspects of parenting is having no control over the playlist when you are driving and kids are in the car…
“I’ve listened to the same anime song for 2 hours on repeat!!! Send help”
Kate has even given her fans an amusing insight into life on the cobbles, as she shared a vague snippet from a script as she suggested the scriptwriters were asking a bit too much from her.
Pointing out a stage direction telling her to “wiggle her eyebrows”, she said: “Writers must be having a laugh……”

Zoe Henry finds it hard to like Emmerdale character Rhona at the moment

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Henry admits she is “struggling to like” her character Rhona Goskirk at the moment.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star’s alter ego has immediately found herself having symptoms of the menopause after undergoing a hysterectomy, and she has tried to hide what’s happening from her on-screen boyfriend Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) while pushing him away.
She told RadioTimes.com: “He seems to adore her and be prepared to do anything for her. But there’s only so much a man can take. I am struggling to like her much myself at the moment! She’s so all over the place.
“One moment she is yelling at him and the next she’s crying. They’ve only been together a year so the relationship is still in its infancy. It’s a lot for him to take on but she is strong. But she’s got a long road to travel.”
Instead of turning to her current partner, Rhona seeks comfort and advice from ex-husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and former boyfriend Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock).
Zoe – who has appeared on the ITV soap since 2010 – added: “Marlon and Rhona have got such a history. They have a child, Leo, together and this great bond. So she can open up to Marlon even above Paddy or Vanessa.
“They just have this great understanding. But it’s really hard for her, she can’t even admit to herself how it is making her feel. So to tell someone else, even someone who she loves as much as Marlon, it’s nigh on impossible.”
The issue of the menopause hasn’t been dealt with properly on a British soap, and the actress is glad ‘Emmerdale’ bosses have “done their homework” for the storyline.
She said: “I think ‘Emmerdale’ tells stories really well and very honestly. That’s down to our amazing Research team because they’re all over it.
“Until I read up and got the scripts I didn’t realise if you have a radical hysterectomy like Rhona has, the menopause will pretty much happen right away. ‘Emmerdale’ have pretty much done their homework on this.”

Yara Shahidi was made into a Barbie and chose her own outfit

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbie has honoured Yara Shahidi by turning her into a ‘Shero’ doll, and she chose her own outfit for the toy.
To mark Barbie’s 60th anniversary and International Women’s Month, the 19-year-old actress has been named alongside 20 other inspirational females as one of Mattel’s 2019 Barbie ‘Shero’ dolls – which have been created in a bid to close the “Dream Gap”, which refers to the fact women are less self-assured than men in achieving their dreams or reaching their full potential.
The ‘Black-ish’ star explained that she styled her own outfits for the doll and opted for a suit which is one of her “favourite looks” with a t-shirt emblazoned with a ‘vote’ slogan.
In an interview with Harper;s Bazaar, she said: “Yes, I did. I live in suits; it’s one of my favourite looks. I love wearing a suit, and so this was actually designed off of one that I wore a while back. Then my ‘Vote’ t-shirt I’m always wearing. It’s a t-shirt and a suit, I feel so fancy.”
Other women who have been honoured include model and activist Adwoa Aboah and tennis champion Naomi Osaka and the ‘Grown-ish’ actress added that she would love to see the likes of Naomi Campbell and Grace Jones made into dolls.
She said: “Now I’m really questioning my Barbie history and whose Barbies I’ve seen…I would love a Naomi Campbell doll, I would love a Grace Jones doll.”
Yara went on to praise Adwoa, 26, and insisted that she herself is able to take inspiration from the other women featured in the project.
She said: “What’s very cool is I can genuinely turn to so many of the women that are in this [Barbie] collection of people who have inspired me.
“I mean, Adwoa (Aboah) is incredible and I’ve been so fortunate to not only work alongside her, but to be in conversation with her. She’s somebody I admire. ”

Mike Tyson wouldn’t leave his kids with Michael Jackson

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Tyson “wouldn’t let” his children hang out with Michael Jackson.
The 52-year-old boxer – who has six kids from three relationships – was friends with the late ‘Thriller’ hitmaker but insisted he would never have left his offspring alone with the singer because of his “reputation” and blamed the parents of those who have accused the King of Pop of abuse for putting their children in that position.
Speaking to Michael Rapaport on his ‘I AM RAPAPORT’ podcast, he said: “The parents have to be responsible for that s**t. I just thought the fact that these kids, Michael is telling them, ‘If anyone knows about this we’re both gonna go to prison forever.’ It was just … really horrible.
“I have an eight-year-old kid. I wouldn’t let Michael hang out with my kid. I wouldn’t let my kid go over Michael’s house. I love Michael. Ya know what I mean. Michael has a reputation of this.”
In 1992, the ‘Hangover’ star was convicted of rape and he admitted he “respects” people who wouldn’t let their children around him as a result.
He added: “It’s like some people say, ‘Well listen, you’re Mike Tyson. I wouldn’t let my daughter around you cause you’ve been to prison for rape.’ I respect that, I understand that.”
Wade Robson and James Safechuck accused Michael of abusing them in controversial documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ and while Mike admitted that “whatever happened when [they were] kids is wrong”, he criticised the men for appearing in the programme.
He said: “What you’re doing now is even wrong. Coming out saying this stuff. It comes across that these are guys just out to get some money.”
The Michael Jackson Estate have denied the allegations made in the documentary and earlier this week, the ‘Billie Jean’ hitmaker’s niece, Brandi Jackson admitted she was “sickened” by the “ridiculous” claims made.
She said: “When I was watching [‘Leaving Neverland’], I was completely sickened by it, to be honest with you. The things that he was saying were so over the top and so ridiculous.
“[Wade] was not describing my uncle. He was describing a totally different person, but not my uncle. And that’s why this is a narrative that has changed… over the last 15 years. Everything that he’s ever said about my uncle is the complete opposite of who he was painting in this documentary.”
