OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Sixx has to “laugh” about his brush with death.
The Motley Crue rocker was pronounced dead after a heroin overdose in 1987 but was resuscitated and now he likes to make jokes about the incident, even if not everyone finds them funny.
He said: “I got a lot of great one-liners now like, ‘Jesus Christ and I both died and came back.’ That doesn’t sit well in the Bible belt. But you’ve got to laugh.”
The 60-year-old musician admitted he was in a huge amount of pain after his heart restarted, and compared the experience to rebooting a computer.
Asked what dying taught him, he told Rolling Stone magazine: “That it hurts to come back. My heart stopped. My body stopped.
“It’s like you turned the computer off and they restart the computer. It felt like I’d been f***ing hit by a truck. Every single thing hurt. My hair hurt. That reboot is a bitch.”
The ‘Home Sweet Home’ hitmaker believes he survived due to “spiritual intervention.
He said: “Let’s just say there was some spiritual intervention. God knows I wasn’t the one responsible for surviving. I’m not religious, but I’m spiritual. If I leaned toward anything, it would be Buddhism.”
And some of Nikki’s biggest regrets include “scaring” his loved ones with his drug habit and seeing the band “self-destruct” at the height of their success.
He said: “I learned that drugs are like Band-Aids and that Band-Aids don’t work. You’ve got to clean out the wound. I had to struggle with that through the fame and success.
“In certain parts of my life, I could have made better decisions. I feel bad for the people in my family that I scared.
“And I regret that when the band finally got what we wanted, we were self-destructing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard has claimed the late singer only had “relations” with adult women.
The late King of Pop’s security man Bill Whitfield watched over the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker along with Javon Beard – whom he co-wrote the 2014 book ‘Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days’ with – and he has now spoken out about the HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ in which James Safechuck and Wade Robson claim that Michael sexually abused both of them after befriending them when they were children.
Bill has defended Michael – who died from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 at the age of 50 – from his accusers and insisted that as far as he was “aware” he regularly “spent time” with “two particular women”.
Speaking on the ‘Hidden Truth Show with Jim Breslo’, Bill said: “I’m not gonna put his whole sexual actions out there. I would never do that. I’m aware of him spending time with women. What he did with these women is a different story. I’m aware that he spent time with two particular women, but what he did with them, he spent time.”
‘Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days’ was turned into the biographical television film ‘Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland’, which is about the “devotion” Michael “had to his children, and the hidden drama that took place during the last two years of his life”.
Bill’s defence of the pop superstar comes after the ‘Billie Jean’ hitmaker’s daughter Paris Jackson insisted it’s not her “role” to publicly defend her late father from James and Wade’s shocking accusations.
The 20-year-old actress took to Twitter to explain why she hasn’t commented on ‘Finding Neverland’.
Responding to a fan on the micro-blogging site, she wrote: “There’s nothing i can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defense.
“Taj [Jackson] is doing a perfect job on his own. and i support him. but that’s not my role. i’m just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. that’s me. (sic)”
While Paris praised her cousin Taj Jackson, 45, for speaking out in defence of his uncle and explained her own silence on the issue, she did tell another follower that she shares her father’s “moral compass”.
She tweeted: “I have the same moral compass as my father, but not the level of patience. i’ll fight for love n peace in the same way, but i am more aggressively driven. i don’t sit by idly when i see injustices happen, especially when they’re directed towards me or my family. f**k that noise (sic)”
In Dan Reed’s ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary, Wade – who testified under oath in Michael’s 2005 child sex abuse trial that the musician never abused him – claims that he was molested by the singer from the age of seven until 14.
James – who previously testified on Michael’s behalf when he was accused of sexual abuse in 1993 – claimed he was abused from the age of 10 until he reached puberty.
The Michael Jackson estate has hit back at the allegations branding both accusers “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Theroux’s next BBC2 documentary will be about postpartum mental illness.
‘Mothers on the Edge’ will see the broadcaster spending time at two UK specialist psychiatric units which take care of women suffering from serious mental illness, while also letting them live alongside their babies.
While on the wards, he will meet a number of mothers battling a range of issues including anxiety, depression and psychosis, which can be triggered both by the difficulties of motherhood or birth itself.
Speaking about the hour-long, one-off documentary, Louis said: “Postpartum mental illness, like many aspects of mental health, is all too common and not acknowledged enough.
“We as a society do so much to celebrate new motherhood and to romanticise the relationship between new mothers and their babies, for understandable reasons.
“But the sad fact is, for many mums, their experience of having a baby is traumatic and they don’t experience Hallmark Card feelings of love.”
The film – set to air on BBC2 in May 2019 – will also see him following patients recovering at home, and the challenge they face.
He added: “The women we featured in this film took a huge leap of faith in opening up and speaking to me. They bared a great deal of their souls and risked the judgement of less understanding elements of society.
“Their bravery and candour is awe-inspiring, and it was a privilege to be invited into their families during a most vulnerable period in their lives.
“I hope this film will go some way to helping normalise postpartum mental illness and stimulate a discussion on how we can best care for mothers at the time they need it the most.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Netflix is testing price increases for customers in the UK.
The streaming platform – which broadcasts the likes of ‘Stranger Things’, ‘Sex Education’ and ‘Black Mirror’ – has confirmed that some customers will be seeing higher pricing, including the cost of the Premium package subscription going from £9.99 to as much as £12.99.
A Netflix spokesperson told Digital Spy: “We are testing slightly different prices to better understand how members value Netflix.
“Not everyone will see this test and we may never roll out these specific prices beyond this test. Our goal is to ensure that Netflix is always great value for money.”
The test follows speculation from UK customers in January after Netflix increased prices for users in the US.
At the time, the company said: “Price increases are specific to each country and the US increase does not influence or indicate a UK price change.”
The news of the test comes after Netflix was forced to deny claims it has shuffled the episode order of new animation series ‘Love, Death & Robots’ based on the user’s sexuality following claims on social media.
The company tweeted: “We’ve never had a show like Love, Death & Robots before so we’re trying something completely new: presenting four different episode orders.
“The version you’re shown has nothing to do with gender, ethnicity, or sexual identity — info we don’t even have in the first place.”
Meanwhile, research firm Ampere Analysis recently revealed a study suggesting that for all the 2018 releases available on the platform in the US, just over half of these were originals, meaning the share has more than doubled since it was recorded in December 2016.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jameela Jamil has branded Khloe Kardashian as “irresponsible” for promoting a weight loss shake.
The 33-year-old actress has criticised the 34-year-old reality star for promoting Flat Tummy Co. meal replacement shakes on her Instagram and insisted that the product could have negative side effects while claiming the drink has nothing to do with how Khloe achieves her sexy figure.
Commenting on Khloe’s Instagram post, Jameela said: “If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product … And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy.
“Side effects such as: Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration … Then I guess I have to. (sic)”
The ‘Good Place’ actress went on urge the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star to “be smarter” than promoting the brand and “hurt other girls” who see the post.
She continued: “It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance, that’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this. (sic)”
This isn’t the first time Jameela has spoken out against Khloe. Earlier this year, the star slammed Khloe for sharing a post on her Instagram story that read: “2 Things a Girl Wants: 1) Lose Weight 2) Eat.”
Sharing a screenshot of the post, Jameela wrote: “Makes me sad.
“I hope my daughter grows up wanting more than this. I want more than this.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Neil Jones’ first reaction when his wife Katya Jones told him she had kissed her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Seann Walsh was to make sure she was OK.
The ballroom professionals’ marriage was rocked last year when the Russian dancer was pictured locking lips with comedian Seann after a night out drinking in a pub, but Neil insists that when she told him what had happened his “natural” response was to want to protect his spouse.
In a joint interview on ITV show ‘Lorraine’, Neil, 36, said: “For me it was a major shock, and I appreciated that Katya told me before I saw it. ‘Strictly’ were fantastic with me and with us all, they were supporting us all and helping us.
“It was that shock factor, and then for me I was actually more worried about Katya because I could see what was going to happen, and I was like as long as she’s going to be OK. It was a natural reaction, of course [I love her] because we’ve been together for a long time.”
Katya, 29, accepts it was a tough moment in their relationship but insists she and Neil – who she married in August 2013 – are now stronger than ever.
She said: “There was lots of different emotions, of course, and we’ve gone through that. And I think now that we’ve moved on, you might even forgot how you felt at that moment … Look, 10 years of being together and that’s not for nothing. We’ve gone through so many things together.”
Neil added: “The trust is there.”
Katya has nothing but regret when she thinks about her kiss with Seann, 33, but insists it is time for people to move on from the smooch because she and Neil have.
She said: “[I regret it]. Of course, you just don’t realise the extent of the damage and the people you affect, families, my family, that moment you don’t. But then it’s the whole show, obviously that was horrible, all the professionals and dancers were constantly asked about it and that was unnecessary from me, absolutely.
“Even the fact that we’re still talking about it. It’s like, we’re over it, I think everyone else is over it, let’s just move on.”
Echoing his wife’s sentiment, Neil added: “I was getting messages on Instagram saying, ‘You’ve got to leave her’. But that’s what’s wrong, you know? I always feel that’s what’s wrong at the moment, everybody just looks at things, it’s a quick relationship, we’ve been together for 10 years. For me, it was just important, the understanding, I just needed to speak to Katya, I just needed to be with her in that moment. For me, I felt they overreacted.
“There’s worse things in the world going on at the moment. Every time it keeps coming up, anything happens and they mention it, I’m like, ‘Come on…'”
Asked by host Lorraine Kelly if she’s still in contact with Seann, Katya said: “No.”
To show the world that their marriage is very much on track, Neil and Katya are touring their own show ‘Somnium: A Dancer’s Dream’ which is inspired by their romance and their life together.
Explaining the inspiration behind the dance extravaganza, Neil said: “It’s based on our story. There’s moments in, within the story, it’s not about what happened there, it’s about a World Championships.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson had to go for several fittings on the lead up to filming ‘Captain Marvel’ because her body shape kept “changing”.
The 29-year-old actress – who stars as the titular character in the new Marvel movie – hit the gym hard to prepare for her role as the extraterrestrial Kree warrior, but as a result, she “repeatedly” had to visit the wardrobe team to make sure her on screen outfits fit her correctly because she “worked out like crazy”..
Speaking to Vogue UK, costume designer Sanja Milkovic said: “We want to see women on screen, especially women that are so strong and so powerful. I’m so happy to be part of this.
“She [Brie] was working out like crazy – I’m so in awe of her.
“Her body was changing, as expected, so she was coming in repeatedly for fittings.
“Over the course of working out she was finding out more and more what her action scenes were going to be, and so we were making sure what we were doing would allow her to do certain things.”
Brie debuted as her Marvel alter-ego wearing the iconic blue and red superhero suit, and Sanja set out to make the costume both “attractive” and “strong”.
She added: “Her suit is strong and super-heroic, but still very feminine. It was a conscious decision to not just make her a gorgeous, beautiful thing but instead make her costume part of her attitude. She’s a girl with an attitude and rightfully so; she has nothing to prove. It’s a very modern concept for a female superhero. Hopefully a lot of young women can relate to that.
“It had to be period, but it had to be attractive to the audience today. She’s a pilot and a tomboy, so what would a young woman like that wear? And she’s a big rock’n’roll girl. So, a combination of rock’n’roll and grunge was obviously the way to go.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Rodriguez’s ex-wife insists she is “happy” for him and Jennifer Lopez.
The baseball star’s former spouse Cynthia Scurtis, who he split from in 2008, has given the couple their blessing after Alex got down on one knee earlier this month.
Speaking to RadarOnline.com, she said: “I’m happy for them. Other than that I have no comment.”
Alex and Cynthia have remained civil following their split for the sake of their two daughters – 10-year-old Ella and Natasha, 14.
He previously revealed: “From the beginning, we always put the kids first so that they will grow and have emotional wellness and not feel a lot of the tugging that you feel sometimes happens in families that are divorced.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer’s friend Ne-Yo previously revealed she is “over the moon” after getting engaged.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Walliams has sold his London home for a whopping £2 million profit.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge has netted a huge £2.1million profit after selling the house in North London, which he shared with his now ex-wife Lara Stone.
The three bedroom house was previously owned by Noel Gallagher and was given the name Supernova Heights, a nod to Oasis’ hit track ‘Champagne Supernova’.
Noel owned the abode until 1999 and during his time, it was known for being the venue of wild house parties thrown by the rocker. It became a family home for David and his ex Lara when they moved into the Belsize Park pad. He bought the house for £3.25million in 2005, before selling it recently for £5.35million.
Lara moved out of the mansion in July 2015, spelling the end to her and the 47-year-old comedian’s five-year marriage.
A source said at the time: “The fact she’s moved could suggest the ­marriage is definitely over … Lara’s new place is a lot smaller than the huge mansion she shared with David but she seems to be ­enjoying life and is ­often seen having breakfast in a local cafe. The home is not as grand as people might expect but it has a lovely, traditional feel about it and it’s in a lovely part of town.”
David was said to be devastated when the couple decided to split.
An insider shared: “David has been putting on a brave face. But people close to him are very worried because they know he’s devastated. David is used to hiding his emotions with comedy because that’s what he’s always done. But on the inside it is a real wrench … It has stunned David’s friends and TV colleagues. Everyone thought the marriage was strong.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Madeley wants to live until he’s 100.
The 62-year-old was inspired to aim to live a long and healthy life after he turned 49 – the age his father Christopher was when he died of a heart attack – because he had “outlived” his did and wanted to keep going strong.
The television presenter opened up to his daughter Chloe on her fitness podcast ‘The Bod Cast’ and said: “I remember I was 49 and four months, passing my father’s timeline to the minute. At the exact point I remember looking at my watch and thinking. ‘OK, I’ve outlived my dad, I want to double that.
“It was a big moment for me and now my ambition is to be 100.”
The former ‘Richard and Judy’ presenter found out that his father had died when he was only 21 years old while on honeymoon with his first wife Lynda Hooley – who he was married to from 1977 to 1983 – and he believes Christopher passed away because he ate bad food, did no exercise, and was a heavy smoker.
He recalled: “Dad had been at my wedding three days earlier. His arteries were furred up because he was eating all the wrong stuff, had been smoking for most of his life and did zero exercise.”
Richard – who has Chloe, 31, and her brother Jack, 32, with wife Judy Finnigan – may be in his sixties but he’s pledged to start working out more in order to bulk up.
He said: “I got out of the shower the other day, looked in the mirror and said, “you need to do a little muscle build-up there, mate.
“There’s not much between the shoulders and the elbows, frankly.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Gregson has signed up to martial arts classes after his wife was attacked on a night out.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star has taken up self defence after Emma Gleave, 35, had her nose broken while defending her brother Michael – who has learning difficulties – during an altercation on a night out.
Simon, 44, told the Daily Star: “I’ve started with the martial arts. It’s a bit hard as I’m old-ish and fat, but it’s worth it.”
The classes – which are believed to be held near his Cheshire home – are thought to teach people basic self defence, and how to handle themselves in dangerous situations.
The soap star – who has played Steve McDonald on the cobbles since 1989 – also suggested the incident made him want to leave city life and move away to be closer to animals.
He added: “Animals are so much nicer than people. If anyone has a safari park and needs a live-in family, we’re in.
“All is well with the world when you’re with animals.”
Simon was said to be “furious” after the attack earlier this month, but his focus has been on making sure his wife – with whom he shares sons Alfie, 11, Harry, nine, and three-year-old Henry – was looked after.
A source previously said: “Emma has always been hugely protective of her brother. The two of them had done nothing wrong when this awful man started goading him.
“Emma wasn’t prepared to let that happen and tried to defuse the situation — but the next second she was punched in the face and left in a lot of pain with a bloody nose.
“What sort of bloke punches a woman? Simon was furious. If he got his hands on this bloke, God knows what would happen. But his first concern is for Emma.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Sutton is set to return to ‘Hollyoaks’ next week.
The 36-year-old actor – who left the Channel 4 soap in 2017 after two spells as John Paul McQueen – is said to be making a comeback for a guest appearance.
As revealed by Digital Spy, soap bosses are bringing John Paul back for Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace) and Myra McQueen’s (Nicole Barber-Lane) wedding day.
The soon-to-be married couple are his biological parent after a fling years ago, before Sally transitioned, and James will be reprising his role for a one-off return so his alter ego can celebrate the special occasion.
He previously played the role between 2006 and 2009, before returning in 2012 after a stint on ‘Emmerdale’ as Ryan Lamb.
Although he’s since moved into working in the theatre, James has remained proud of his soap roots, and he has dismissed any acting industry “snobbery” about starring in the serial shows.
He previously said: “Some soap actors have been doing their roles for years. There is a reason for that – they are the best in the business, they are professionals. They turn up day after day, week after week.”
Meanwhile, in September last year James tied the knot with partner Rachael Collin at Pennard House in Shepton Mallet, south west England.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote at the time: “Thankyou to everyone who made the trip down to Glastonbury and made our day so special. We love you all.
“I’ve had the best weekend of my life. Getting married is f***ing ace. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Warner Bros. Studios is reportedly in final negotiations to buy sports biopic ‘King Richard’.
The studio is nearing a deal to acquire the rights for the film about about tennis stars Venus Williams and Serena Williams’ father Richard Williams, according to Variety.
Will Smith, 50, is reportedly set to take on the role as the dad of the tennis greats in Zach Baylin’s new speculative screenplay which tells the story of Richard who, with no tennis experience, raised and developed the sisters to become legends of the sport.
There is no director attached as of yet and Venus, 38, and Serena, 37, aren’t among the producing team, which includes the ‘Suicide Squad’ star and his Overbrook Entertainment banner.
Richard, 77, trained the girls on the courts of Compton in Los Angeles from an early age and at the age of four drew up a 78-page plan for their professional careers.
The pair were still teenagers when Serena won the US Open in 1999 and Venus won Wimbledon in 2000.
Serena has gone on to win a total of 23 individual Grand Slam tournaments, whilst Venus has won seven Grand Slam titles.
The rest of the producing team consists of Tim White and Trevor Write through their Star Thrower Entertainment banner and Allan Mandelbaum and Caleeb Pinkett will serve as executive producers with Mary Solomon and Rick Rickertsen.
Speaking of her father’s influence on her life, Serena previously said: “He’s been the most important person in my career. I do miss my dad obviously. I miss him all the time.
“I call him. I try to reach out to him a lot. He calls me. He watches my matches. He still tells me things that I’m not doing right.
“It all started with an idea. It was his idea. It’s changed sports. It’s changed history.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin and Hailey Bieber are pushing back their wedding party.
The couple are planning to have a special ceremony to mark their nuptials, which took place quietly last year but they want to focus on Justin getting better first before they go ahead with the party.
A source told People magazine: “They will still have a wedding eventually, but this is not their focus right now. They haven’t sent out any new save the dates. They will wait until Justin feels better and is excited about planning their wedding again.”
And Justin is said to be “very focused on getting better” after receiving treatment for his mental health over the past few months.
An insider shared: “Justin is still receiving treatment on both coasts, but is doing okay. He is very, very focused on getting better. He wants to be in a great place for his own and Hailey’s sake. OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow chose to have her wedding near her birthday as she wanted to “reframe” the date following her father’s passing.
The ‘Mortdecai’ star’s dad Bruce Paltrow sadly passed away in October 2002 when they were on vacation in Rome, Italy celebrating Gwyneth’s birthday and so she chose to have her nuptials with Brad Falchuk two days after her birthday.
She said: “He had had throat cancer and we then were on a trip to Italy for my 30th birthday. He wasn’t feeling well, and then he got double pneumonia and he just sort of died on me, on the trip … just after my birthday. For years, I would go into kind of, the deepest depression of all time around my birthday, and then I thought, ‘I’ve gotta reframe this somehow. My father would not want this for me.’ So my birthday is September 27th, and this past September, I got married on the 29th September.”
Gwyneth wanted her father to be part of her and Brad’s big day so they decided to get married in the garden of her home, where her father’s ashes are scattered.
She shared: “His ashes are buried under this beautiful tree at my house, and we got married there, like, right near my dad – kinda on my dad, which sounds weird!
And the Hollywood actress admits she misses her father every day as she praised him for always being so “observant and so deeply supportive”.
Speaking on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, she added: “When my dad died, I was 30, which was relatively very young, hopefully, in the span of my life, and I still have a really hard time with it … He was such an intentional father and he was so observant, and so deeply supportive, and set us up to win all the time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ will be set in the 1990s.
The upcoming DC Comics flick will reportedly be showing an earlier version of The Caped Crusader, and Warner Bros. is now looking to cast younger versions of Batman, Commissioner Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth than has featured in the DC Extended Universe, according to a new report from Discussing Film.
Reeves is said to have added a few more action beats to the script however the focus said to still be on Batman’s detective skills while The Penguin has been named as one of the script’s main antagonists although there is set to be a ‘Rogues Gallery’ of some of Batman’s most famous foes.
The film will be released on June 25, 2021 and confirmation of the date follows the announcement that Ben Affleck is stepping down as Batman in the DCEU.
The 46-year-old actor portrayed The Dark Knight and his alter ego Bruce Wayne in 2016’s ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and 2017’s ‘Justice League’ and had a cameo in 2016 villain-led blockbuster ‘Suicide Squad’, but has confirmed he won’t be involved in Reeves’ standalone movie, which will focus on a younger version of the comic book legend.
Ben tweeted: “Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life. (sic)”
Ben had initially been attached to both star in and direct ‘The Batman’, but opted to step down from his role behind the camera in 2017.
