Olly Murs won’t find famous girlfriend

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs wouldn’t date a celebrity because it would cause him “anxiety”.
The ‘Troublemaker’ hitmaker – who previously dated model-and-presenter Melanie Sykes – is too “private” to cope with the attention of a high profile relationship, though he is keen to settle down with the right person, who he wants to make him feel “alive”.
He said: “Listen, the day I put a ring on someone I want it to be for the right reasons and the right person.
“Not only do I bring out the best in them, but that person brings out the best in me. I want someone who makes me feel alive when I’m around them.
“I know that’s not going to last forever, but I want to be in a relationship where I feel it’s the right one, and that takes time sometimes.
“Hats off to anyone who can date someone in the public eye.
“I’d feel uncomfortable because I’m a private person, I don’t know if I’d cope with it.
“Dating someone in the celeb world gives me anxiety.”
The 34-year-old singer – who hasn’t been in a serious relationship since splitting from Francesca Thomas in 2015 – admitted he would “love” to be a parent one day but insisted he doesn’t feel any “pressure” to get married and start a family any time soon.
He added to The Sun Online: “A few people who are married have said to me recently, ‘Olly don’t get married, stay single until the last minute.
“But of course I’d love to get married and have kids. I think I’d be a great dad.
“I love being around my nephews all the time, they are the best thing ever.
“To be a dad someday… I’d really enjoy it. A boy and a girl would be great – but just being in a relationship would be great at some point too.
“We’ll see what happens. There’s no pressure for me though.”

Emma Roberts ‘exploring’ new romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Roberts is “exploring a relationship” with Garrett Hedlund.
The 28-year-old actress was recently reported to have ended her engagement to ‘American Horror Story’ co-star Evan Peters – whom she had been in an on and off relationship with since 2012 – and it has now been claimed she’s already testing the waters with new beau and ‘Triple Frontier’ star Garrett.
A source told E! News: “They have gone on a few casual dates and are exploring a relationship, but it is definitely not anything serious yet.
“Emma is not one to rush into things and is seeing how things pan out.”
Emma reportedly started spending time with Garrett in various “social settings,” before things began to turn “romantic”, and sources say the pair have only been dating for a “few weeks” since her split with Evan is still recent.
Prior to Emma, 34-year-old Garrett dated and was even briefly engaged to Kirsten Dunst between 2011 and 2016.
The ‘Scream Queens’ star, meanwhile, first began dating 32-year-old Evan after meeting on the set of ‘Adult World’ in 2012.
They got engaged over Christmas in 2013 but called off their marriage plans in June 2015.
Evan and Emma later reconciled in August of the same year before splitting in May 2016, and then got back together later that year and announced their engagement was back on in November 2016.
They were reported to have split up again on Wednesday (20.03.19), when sources also reported the start of her romance with Garrett.
An insider said: “Emma and Evan were heading for a split and now are just friends. Evan has moved out. It wasn’t a bad breakup.”

Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach ‘welcome first child together’

OHMYGOSSIP — Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have welcomed their first child together.
The 35-year-old actress and her director boyfriend – who has a son Rohmer, nine, from his previous marriage to Jennifer Jason Leigh – have become parents, her rep has confirmed to PEOPLE magazine.
The happy news comes just days after they were spotted pushing a pram around Manhattan on Tuesday (19.03.19).
An eyewitness told E!: “Noah was pushing and Greta was right next to him. They were chatting and enjoying some fresh air.
“They were bundled up in the chilly weather and they had a grey and white striped blanket draped over the stroller.
“It seemed like the baby was sleeping because they were busy talking and didn’t have to tend to the baby.
“They walked around their neighbourhood for several blocks before heading home.”
The couple’s news comes nine years after they first met when Noah cast Greta for his 2010 movie ‘Greenberg’, which also starred Ben Stiller.
The pair have since gone on to co-write movies ‘Mistress America’ and ‘Frances Ha’.
Greta wrote and directed 2017 comedy-drama movie ‘Lady Bird’, for which she was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, and a Golden Globe for Best Screenplay.
While they have a mainly private relationship, Noah supported her at both ceremonies.
Greta worked alongside Saoirse Ronan in ‘Lady Bird’, in which the star portrayed the lead character Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson, and the 24-year-old actress admitted the filmmaker has been “very supportive” since she finished filming the motion picture.
She said: “I was a huge fan of Greta Gerwig before I worked with her on ‘Lady Bird’.
“Meeting Greta and knowing that she knew who I was and wanted to talk to me about the script was so exciting. We Skyped before we met and we were so giggly, like two kids in high school. She’s been very supportive since.”

Ricky Gervais confirms more After Life

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Gervais has confirmed ‘After Life’ will return for a second series.
The 57-year-old comic has thanked fans for their kind messages of appreciation for his new Netflix series and revealed the support has helped spur him on to pen some new episodes.
He tweeted: “Once again, I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your amazing tweets about #AfterLife. I’ve never had a reaction like it. I have a spring in my step as I skip towards writing series 2.(sic)”
The confirmation came after Ricky – who plays Tony, a suicidal man who responds to the loss of his wife of 25 years by opting to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he wants with no inhibitions – admitted ahead of the show’s Netflix debut that he had ideas in mind for another series.
However, if the programme hadn’t been a hit, he felt the first run of episodes concluded at a satisfying point.
Asked if he would like to make a second series, he said: “I’d love to. Just in case, I always do my first series of anything that it could be a standalone thing.
“But I’ve really fallen in love with the characters and I think it’d be a waste not to do a second series now.
“And the second series could be the best, because you can hit the ground running. You’ve done all the set up.
“You know that people you know the characters now, so you can delve deeper into things without having to do the admin of explaining stuff. So the second series can be the most joyful to write and watch.”
Quizzed on whether he had some possible storylines for a second run, he added: “There are ideas, yeah, there are. You can’t help those, but you’ve got to curb them in case.
“If no-one likes it and Netflix say, ‘We’ve wasted millions on you, Rick,’ but, secretly, yeah, I would love to do a second series.”

Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson join Christopher Nolan film

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson have joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next movie.
The motion picture has been slated for July 17, 2020, a date Warner Bros. has been known to reserve for the director, after he completed the script on the upcoming as-yet untitled film, according to Variety.
An insider recently told how the mysterious motion picture is expected to be a huge blockbuster which will be shown in Imax.
But Warner Bros. are yet to confirm specific details about casting and plot details.
Debicki and Pattinson are expected to star alongside John David Washington, with Nolan due to produce alongside Emma Thomas.
Production on the hotly-anticipated movie is expected to begin later this year.
A July 17th release date could be a good omen for Nolan after he tasted big box office success with war movie ‘Dunkirk’, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Director and raked in $526 million worldwide.
Washington rose to fame in Spike Lee’s biographical drama ‘BlacKkKlansman’, in which he starred as Ron Stallworth, who was the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department.
And the 34-year-old actor – whose father is Hollywood icon Denzel Washington – has heaped praise on Lee.
Asked what Lee has meant to him through his own life, he explained: “He’s given men and women of colour a platform.
“We’re not just in this industry. Both in front and behind the cameras. So many people – DPs, writers, and the assistants that go on to be directors and writers – come from the School of Spike Lee. He’s almost set up an Institution of Spike Lee. We’re all like his children. He’s just so encouraging about that and he’s so supportive.
“So, I just feel like I’m a part of this huge family, and a part of history. I’m connected to a Wesley Snipes and I’m connected to Giancarlo Esposito because of the history of films that we’ve all been a part of with Spike Lee.”

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to shoot new Star Wars movie this year

OHMYGOSSIP — David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will shoot their first ‘Star Wars’ movie later this year.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ showrunners have been hired to work on a standalone trilogy for the sci-fi saga, and they are reportedly planning to start work on the first installment this autumn.
A source, who has worked on every Disney ‘Star Wars’ movie, told website Star Wars News: “Filming starts in the Fall and art departments are in design phases now as the script is being finalised. That is all I know but I am 95% confident that this is accurate.”
According to the insider, the movie will be set “hundreds of years” before the original series, and the trilogy has been given priority by Disney, because they want to appeal to the HBO fantasy drama series’ audience now ‘Game of Thrones’ is coming to an end.
The source added: “[I was] approached about working on the next movie this autumn. It is not the Rian Johnson trilogy, it is the ‘Game of Thrones’ guys’ first movie, and it is set during the Old Republic, as Disney wants to open up the ‘Star Wars’ timeline and appeal to a more ‘Game of Thrones’ style audience.
“So the timeline is hundreds of years prior to the Skywalkers, so think almost ‘Star Wars’ meets ‘Lord of the Rings’.”
Benioff and Weiss previously admitted they couldn’t wait to get started on the movies once ‘Game of Thrones’ was complete.
They said: “In the summer of 1977 we travelled to a galaxy far, far away, and we’ve been dreaming of it ever since. We are honored by the opportunity, a little terrified by the responsibility, and so excited to get started as soon as the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ is complete.”

The British duo, Tunde Baiyewu and Paul Tucker, will drop their new tune, ‘My Salvation’, on Thursday (21.03.19), and they are “so excited” about their new material.
A post on their official Twitter account reads: “We are so excited to announce that we’ll be releasing a new single ‘My Salvation’! It’ll be premiered on @BBCRadio2 tomorrow with @RealKenBruce at 11am. Please join us to experience the next chapter together! Big love x (sic)”
The pair will drop a new album ‘Blue Sky In Your Head’ on May 3rd.
Tunde said: “People need a bit of hope.
“A little bit of light at the end of the tunnel, to reassure you that it will still turn out OK, even if it doesn’t seem like it.”
The singer admitted ‘My Salvation’ is about the “state of the way things are at the moment”.
He is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: “There seems to be one bad thing after another. Everybody’s finding their own safe haven.”
The group’s last single was 2003 track ‘I Could Have Loved You’ from their 2002 ‘Greatest Hits’ album, but the song failed to chart.
Afterwards, the pair went their separate ways but have reunited to tour.
They had previously achieved some success with singles ‘High’ and ‘Lifted’, which both reached highs of number four in the UK charts, as well as their debut album ‘Ocean Drive’, which charted at number three and went platinum six times.

He said: “I just work with people that I love and respect, that inspire me to be a better person, a better artist. I think it was a really beautiful cultural move. People see me with the queen, like, if she’s working with him it’s because he’s for real. She’s not the type of girl that works with everybody. All the other collaborations are helping me a lot to keep spreading the vibe that I want.”

Bhavna Limbachia decided to kill off her Corrie character

OHMYGOSSIP — Bhavna Limbachia decided her ‘Coronation Street’ character Rana Habeeb should be killed off.
The 34-year-old actress bowed out of the ITV soap last night (20.03.19) when her alter-ego tragically died after the Underworld factory roof collapsed on top of her on her wedding day, leaving her significant other Kate Connor (Faye Brookes) distraught.
But Bhavna admits she thought the only way the couple – who held their own impromptu wedding ceremony together as she lay dying on the debris-ridden factory floor – could be separated was for Rana to be killed.
She said: “When I told Kate Oates and Iain McLeod that I wanted to leave the show to try other things, it was my decision and my choice for Rana to die because it was the only fitting end to the character.
“Kate and Rana had fought so hard to be together and they had been through thick and thin together.
“I believe their love was so pure as two souls that there was no way that Rana was just going to have a change of heart, hop in a cab and leave.
“I felt that if they were to be separated, they had to be torn apart and it couldn’t have been their decision. The only way to go was if Rana were to die. Rana would never leave Kate, ever.”
Despite the hard-hitting scenes, some of which took up to 10 hours to film, Bhavna tried to remain in character when she got home after filming.
She said: “It was difficult because I never tried to snap out of character when I got home.
“It was finding a balance of being able to detach yourself emotionally from the scenes but almost stay in that frame of mind to go back the next day and film.”
Kate and Rana’s relationship captured the hearts of the nation and was dubbed ‘Kana’ by ‘Corrie’ super-fans – and Bhavna admits learning about the LGBTQ+ community during the plot has “changed” her as a person.
She said: “I am proud to be an ally for the LGBTQ+ community.
“It wasn’t something that I knew enough about so when I was approached with this storyline, I felt it was important to educate myself about the LGBTQ+ community and that has changed me as a person.”

Rebel Wilson’s hallucinations inspired acting career

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebel Wilson was inspired to become an actress after a “near-death” experience with malaria.
The ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ star started “hallucinating” on the medication she was given when she was hospitalised with the potentially life-threatening disease at the age of 19 whilst in Mozambique.
The 39-year-old actress’ whole life changed after the visions she had of herself as an actress giving an acceptance speech for an award whilst in the hospital.
Appearing on the ‘Aussies In Hollywood’ podcast, Rebel recalled: “They tried to give me pills, but I heard they can cause mental problems, so I ended up being the stupid person who got [malaria].
“I’m just lying there in hospital, can’t really hear, can’t really watch TV and I was just hallucinating on the drugs that I was an actress.
“I was giving an acceptance speech … an acceptance rap, which seems so dorky now.
“When people have kind of near-death experiences, people can experience certain things that really change the course of their life.”
Four years later, the ‘How to Be Single’ star graduated from the Australian Theatre for Young People, and landed her first role as Toula on the US comedy series ‘Pizza’ and then the sketch comedy ‘The Wedge’.
Rebel now has several awards to her name, including the 2013 Best Breakthrough Performance MTV Movie Award for her role as Fat Amy in ‘Pitch Perfect’.
Meanwhile, the ‘Bridesmaids’ star recently revealed she was rushed to hospital after suffering a concussion on the set of ‘Isn’t It Romantic’.
The Australian comedienne – who stars alongside the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Liam Hemsworth and Adam DeVine in the Netflix fantasy movie – suffered a serious health scare after she fell over on set.
She recalled: “I was walking to meet Adam and Liam for a rehearsal when we were shooting an outdoor Hamptons scene, and I slipped down a grass hill.
“I got a concussion and was rushed to the hospital for three hours, and then came back and filmed a 16-hour day. I thought, how ironic, not from doing one of the crazy stunts, but from the grass having a bit of dew on it.”
She added: “Two of my toenails came off because of the flats I was wearing.”

Amy Schumer wanted to lose stigma of autism

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Schumer opened up about her husband’s Asperger’s Syndrome diagnosis to get rid of the “stigma”.
In her Netflix special ‘Growing’, the 37-year-old comedian revealed her man Chris Fischer – who she married in February 2018 following a whirlwind three-month romance – has the form of autism, which is a developmental disorder autism and can cause difficulties with communication and social interaction.
Explaining her decision to talk about it, she told ‘Late Night’ host Seth Meyers: “We both wanted to talk about it because it’s been totally positive.
“I think some people resist getting diagnosed… because of the stigma that comes along with it. But the tools we’ve been given have made his life so much better and our marriage and our life so much more manageable.”
Amy added that it’s important for people to talk about it and try to get the “tools” that can help improve their quality of life.
She said: “I just wanted to encourage people to not be afraid of that stigma. I think a lot of people with autism who go undiagnosed when I think their life could be better if they got those tools.”
Meanwhile, the star – who is expecting her first child with Chris – admitted her pregnancy has been “pretty tough”, having suffered with extreme nausea, exhaustion and dehydration due to hyperemesis.
She added: “I didn’t know pregnancies could be such a bummer. I threw up a bunch of times on the way here.”
Opening up about her husband in her comedy special, Amy admitted she realised early on that the chef’s brain “was a little different” to hers.
She told a crowd in Chicago: “I knew from the beginning that my husband’s brain was a little different than mine. I have to start this over because I really want to get this right because I love him very much.
“My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s. He has autism spectrum disorder. He’s on the spectrum. And there were some signs early on.”

Lorraine Kelly avoids £1.2m tax bill

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorraine Kelly has avoided a £1.2 million tax bill after a judge ruled she “presents a persona of herself” on screen.
The 59-year-old TV presenter – who fronts ITV show ‘Lorraine’ – won the case after a judge said she was a “self-employed star” rather than employed by the broadcaster.
In 2016, Lorraine received the income tax and national insurance bill from the tax office relating to a contract she signed with ITV in 2012.
While HMRC claimed she was an ITV employee, she argued she was a freelancer and appealed against the bill of almost £900,000 in income tax, and a more than £300,000 in national insurance contributions.
Judge Jennifer Dean concluded that the relationship between Lorraine and the broadcaster “was a contract for services and not that of employer and employee”, and the tribunal noted she doesn’t receive staff benefits like holiday or sick pay, while she has the freedom to take on other work.
The judge ruled that she can be classed as a “theatrical artist”, meaning payments to an agent can be counted as a tax-deductible expense.
She added: “We did not accept that Ms Kelly simply appeared as herself – we were satisfied that Ms Kelly presents a persona of herself, she presents herself as a brand and that is the brand ITV sought when engaging her.
“All parts of the show are a performance, the act being to perform the role of a friendly, chatty and fun personality.
“Quite simply put, the programmes are entertaining, Ms Kelly is entertaining and the ‘DNA’ referred to is the personality, performance, the ‘Lorraine Kelly’ brand that is brought to the programmes.”
Judge Dean also concluded that there is a difference between the real Lorraine, and the public persona presented on TV.
She said: “We should make clear we do not doubt that Ms Kelly is an entertaining lady but the point is that for the time Ms Kelly is contracted to perform live on air she is public ‘Lorraine Kelly’.
“She may not like the guest she interviews, she may not like the food she eats, she may not like the film she viewed but that is where the performance lies.”

Noah Centineo in talks to play He-Man

OHMYGOSSIP — Noah Centineo is in talks to play He-Man.
The 22-year-old actor is reportedly set to star in Sony Pictures and Mattel Films’ upcoming live-action film reboot of the ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’ 1980s toy line and cartoon, according to The Wrap.
The ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ star worked with Sony on the hotly-anticipated ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot and Variety reports that the studio are “eager” to work with Noah once again.
The film will be helmed by Aaron and Adam Nee, while Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, penned the script after taking over from David S. Goyer.
Plot details are as-yet unknown but the original animated series focused on Prince Adam who lives on the planet Eternia and can use his Sword of Power to turn into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, by uttering the words “By the Power of Grayskull!”
He-Man must use powers to defend Eternia from the evil Skeletor whose goal is to conquer the mysterious fortress of Castle Grayskull, from which He-Man draws his strength, so he can rule Eternia and the rest of the universe.
In 2016, director McG proclaimed he was “laser-focused” on making a new ‘Masters of the Universe’ film and insisted the upcoming He-Man reboot was his “absolute passion”, however, it was announced last year that the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ director was no longer attached to the project.
The cartoon was previously brought to the big screen in 1987 as a live-action movie with Dolph Lundgren playing He-Man and Frank Langella as Skeletor. A young Courteney Cox also earned just her second film credit playing the character Julie Winston who aides He-Man in his quest to save Earth from the invading Skeletor.

Clean Bandit’s Elton John collab will be out before he retires

OHMYGOSSIP — Clean Bandit’s collaboration with Sir Elton John will likely appear on their next album.
The chart-topping electronic trio – comprised of Grace Chatto and brothers Jack and Luke Patterson – put off releasing their song with the 71-year-old music legend as they felt it was “too good” for their 2018 LP ‘What Is Love?’ – which features the likes of Ellie Goulding, Marina and Rita Ora.
But after months of teasing the track, they’ve revealed they are going to make their next record “stylistically different” to make way for their song with the ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker, which they promised will be released before he finishes his retirement tour, which wraps in December 2020.
Cellist Grace told the Daily Star newspaper: “We have a lot of new songs including the one with Elton John but we kind of thought it was too good for our album.
“So the next album is going to be stylistically different, we want to get him (Elton) before he retires, well we already have the recording.”
Grace previously revealed that Elton’s song harks back to their ‘Rather Be’ era.
She said: “We realised there was a sound developing in a certain part of the Venn diagram of the album and we wanted to push that.
“It was kind of this tropical, plastic-y, mournful sound, whereas his songs were more from the ‘Rather Be’ world.”
The group – who have also worked with the likes of Anne-Marie, Zara Larsson and Craig David – previously praised the mood the ‘Tiny Dancer’ hitmaker brought to the studio.
Grace said: “He was so funny! He sat down at the piano and didn’t stop playing for the whole day, just constant ideas flowing. He was telling loads of jokes at the same time.”
Meanwhile, Clean Bandit have recently been in the studio with Latin pop star Anitta.
Grace said: “We are making a track with Brazilian star Anitta who is the most amazing being.
“She is so good.
“We did a lot of shows out there earlier this year, it was our first time in South America.
“They are probably the best crowds we’ve had anywhere in the world.
“The crowds there are mad.”
