OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Lambert has confirmed he’s “officially” dating Javi Costa Polo.
The ‘For You Entertainment’ singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (27.03.19) to share a series of sweet selfies and photo shoot snaps with his beau, who he revealed he has been seeing “for months”.
Alongside the slideshow, he captioned the post: “LUV U @javicostapolo. (sic)”
A fan then asked: “So @adamlambert you’re finally making it official? You’re with @javicostapolo as a couple?”
To which he responded: “honey we have been official for months. IG isn’t the gatekeeper of our truth! (sic)”
Javi, who is Spanish, also added the comment: “I love you.”
The pair were first rumoured to be seeing each other after they sat together at the Oscars last month.
Javi, whose Instagram is full of modelling snaps, has been putting his photography skills to use as Adam recently credited a photo for his single ‘Feel Something’ to his boyfriend.
Alongside the artistic snap of himself, the ‘American Idol’ alumni wrote: “Hi. I know you’ve been waiting! Well I’m finally ready to bring new music to all of you. I wanted to give a gift to you to kick off this new era before I drop my first official single. It’s a preview of the upcoming album – and a song from me to you.

Prior to finding his new beau, Adam – who has been performing vocals for rock legends Queen on tour since 2012 – had opened up about being single for “about five years” because of his hectic touring schedule.
Speaking in June last year, he said: “I haven’t been in a relationship for about five years.
“I’ve been working and traveling quite a bit so dating is temporary and transient.”
The 37-year-old singer also revealed that he had tried the celebrity dating app Raya, but had no luck.
He said: “I’m on there. I’ve already done that one. I’ve come through it and I didn’t meet anyone!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman’s alleged stalker was arrested outside of her Los Angeles home on Tuesday (26.03.19).
The ‘Black Swan’ star was forced to call the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) when the man, who she recently obtained a permanent restraining order against, reportedly showed up at her property at around 3.30pm.
According TMZ, Natalie left immediately and the man was arrested for “violating a restraining order the actress had against him”.
The man in question claims to have a telepathic connection with her.
The 37-year-old actress was originally granted a temporary restraining order last month against the man – whose real name has not been made public, but who told police his name was John Wick – after he showed up at her house and tried to get into her gated community in January.
According to The Blast, a judge signed off on a permanent document, keeping the man 100 yards away from her, her husband Benjamin Millepied, and their two children – Aleph, seven, and Amalia, 23 months – for good.
An LAPD petition claimed that on January 31, “a high-profile actor of international notoriety” reported a man trespassing on her property.
The officer who submitted the report explained the man “rang the intercom/doorbell multiple times but said nothing when attempts to engage him were made over the intercom”.
When police made contact with him, “he identified himself as John Wick, even though officers had his Colorado Driver’s License which confirmed his true identity.”
The man told them he had “spoken to the reporting person several times, telepathically, and that he had traveled from Colorado to Los Angeles to meet the individual.”
The man refused to respond when the officers called him by his name, but gave “limited and delayed” replies when they called him John.
He was eventually placed under a mental health hold and the detective had the firearms restraining order granted.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B is “not proud” of the things she did to “survive” when she was a strippper.
The ‘I Like It’ hitmaker has spoken out after an old Instagram Live post resurfaced, in which she told of drugging and robbing men, and insisted she has never tried to “glorify” her past.
In a lengthy statement posted to Instagram, she wrote: “I’m seeing on social media that a live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a better living.
“I never claim to be a perfect or come from a perfect world wit a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my s**t.
“I’m a part of a hip-hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are.
“There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it.”
“I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options.
“I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not. Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.(sic)”
But the 26-year-old star – who has nine-month-old daughter Kulture with husband Offset – insisted the men she was involved with were “conscious, willing and aware”.
She added: “The men I spoke about in my live were men that I dated that I was [involved] with men that were conscious willing and aware. I have a past that I can’t change we all do.”
Cardi has also vowed to be a “better me”.
She captioned the statement: “All I can do now is be a better me for myself, my family and my future.”
In the original Instagram Live, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker – who started stripping when she was 19 – admitted she “drugged and robbed” men who wanted to sleep with her.
She said: “I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f**k me? Yeah yeah yeah, let’s go back to this hotel,’ and I drugged n****s up and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chicago’s mayor has criticised the decision to drop all charges against Jussie Smollett.
The ‘Empire’ actor was facing 16 felony counts for filing a false police report, after he claimed that he was attacked and beaten by two masked men shouting racist and homophobic slurs at him in January, but the case was closed on Tuesday (26.03.19) after he agreed to forfeit his bond, much to the unhappiness of local officials.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel branded the decision a “whitewash of justice”.
He fumed: “From top to bottom, this is not on the level. At the end of the day, it’s Mr. Smollett that committed this false claim.
“This is a whitewash of justice.”
And the local police department admitted they were “blindsided” by the decision to drop the charges, which was made “based on all the facts and circumstances” and “based on his lack of criminal background”, and because the 36-year-old actor would likely only receive community service as punishment, something he’s already completed.
First Assistant State’s Attorney Joe Magats denied the mayor’s claims, but insisted Jussie had “not been exonerated” and dismissed the actor had not been a “victim”.
He told NBC Chicago: “This is not a whitewash of justice.
“This is a disposition in a felony case that is available on felony cases of this level. It’s available to all defendants. It’s not something out of privilege; it’s not something out of clout.”
And Magats doesn’t feel “justice was served” with the decision, which was also made in connection with Chicago’s focus being on violent crime.
He said: “He is not a victim of a hate crime…
“Do I think justice was served? No. I think this city is still owed an apology… At the end of the day, it’s Mr. Smollett who committed this hoax. Period.”
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx previously told Chicago police she was dropping the star’s case because Jussie would have only gotten community service if convicted, which he has already performed.
Foxx’s office said: “After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”
The actor’s attorneys Tina Glandian and Patricia Brown Holmes also explained in a statement that their client’s record had “been wiped clean.”
They said: “He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public causing an inappropriate rush to judgement.
“Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions. The entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha, Paloma Faith and Wizkid are set to feature on Naughty Boy’s new album.
The 34-year-old producer – whose real name is Shahid Khan – has worked with the likes of Sam Smith, Beyonce and Emeli Sande, and after releasing lead single ‘Undo’ with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ alumni Calum Scott, the ‘La La La’ hitmaker has revealed he has teamed up with the two female pop stars and Nigerian singer on tracks for his second record.
Teasing what fans can expect from his follow-up to 2013’s ‘Hotel Cabana’, the studio wizard told The Sun newspaper: “It’s quite an eclectic mix of artists. There’s a song with Paloma Faith that I can’t wait for people to hear, it’s got a disco dance vibe.
“I’ve got a track with Bebe Rexha, Then there’s Wizkid, who’s an afrobeats artist, so it’s a nice mish-mash of what’s going on around the world.”
As for when fans can expect the star-studded album, which is currently untitled, to drop, he said: “It’ll be out in autumn. September I’m aiming for.
“I love working with real artists who write their own songs. I get to collaborate with some of the best in the world. I’m just grateful.”
The ‘Runnin” hitmaker also revealed that he is still hoping to get boxer Amir Khan to drop a verse on a song, after he revealed last year he can see him becoming a rapper.
Naughty said: “It hasn’t happened because he’s training, but we’ve spoken about it.
“I saw him not long ago and we had a joke about it, but he said he’s ready.
“Once he’s got this fight out of the way, 100 per cent we will do it.”
The ‘Lifted’ producer previously revealed that he thinks his pal is “really entertaining and charismatic”, after he watched him compete on reality TV series ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ two years ago, and would be a perfect musician.
He said: “Do you know what, I think he’s quite the entertainer and, beyond boxing, it would be really cool to hear him rapping.
“We’ve met and we are friends and it’s something I want to do with him.
“You know after ‘I’m A Celebrity’ I just saw a different side to him — he’s really entertaining and charismatic and that’s what you need when you’re a musician.
“I’m going to invite him in the studio for the ultimate Naughty Boy and Khan collaboration.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Laurence Fox “doesn’t know” if he’d want to do another series of ‘Lewis’.
The 40-year-old actor starred as DS James Hathaway in the popular ITV crime drama from the pilot in 2006 until it was axed in 2015.
And while he’s still in touch his co-star Kevin Whately – who portrayed his colleague Inspector Robbie Lewis – there hasn’t been talk of making a new series, though he suggested that “maybe” they should start a “campaign” for its return.
Asked if he still keeps in contact with Kevin, Laurence said: “I see Kev loads. We’ve been through lots of stuff together.
“He’s a great guy – I love him. No one’s phoned me up and said they want Lewis back. I don’t know if I’d do it.
“Maybe we should start a campaign. But I’ve never felt it’s good to beg for work!”
Laurence can currently be seen playing politician Lord Palmerston in ‘Victoria’, and compared his cheeky alter-ego to children’s novel character Willy Wonka and British MP Boris Johnson.
He told What’s On TV: “It’s a great part. He’s naughty and mischievous. It’s so much fun.
“There’s an element of Willy Wonka and of Boris Johnson in him and that off the cuff rudeness. “Palmerston niggles people and pokes the elephant in the room and enjoys it.
“He’s clever too, with a clear political vision. But I’m the king of one-liners on this show. My favourite is, ‘I like nothing more than ministering to a duchess in distress!'”
The former ‘Foyle’s War’ star also gushed about his co-star Jenna Coleman – who portrays the titular Queen Victoria in the period drama – who he praised for only raising her voice “by about half a decibel” when she has to get “angry”.
He said: “She’s fantastic, isn’t she? When she has to get angry with me, she raises her voice by only about half a decibel. “There’s no shouting. She’s poised and has to do most of her acting with her eyes, because she’s the Queen and she can’t give much away.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A woman was arrested after she barged into Justin Bieber’s hotel room.
The ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker – who is married to model Hailey Bieber – was staying in an unspecified upmarket establishment in Laguna Beach, California, on Tuesday (26.03.19) afternoon when the mystery female suddenly burst in.
Sources told TMZ the woman had been partying and had earlier been escorted out of the hotel after she was found roaming the hallways but had returned for an unknown reason and walked straight into Justin’s room by mistake.
The 25-year-old singer is said to have remained calm and told the woman to leave before his security guards stepped in and held her until police arrived.
The mystery female, who is in her late 30s, appeared to be drunk and was booked for trespassing.
Sources told the website that the unnamed woman had been visiting guests at the hotel the night before and had been staying in a room close to the one where the ‘Sorry’ hitmaker was staying.
Justin recently announced he is taking a break from his career to focus on his health and family.
He wrote on Instagram: “So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album .. I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realised and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour.
“I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be. Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian send a fan a box of clothes after the woman admitted she couldn’t afford her Good American jeans.
Kaelynn Abner revealed earlier this month she had fallen in love with the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star’s denim line but would have to work “extra shifts” in order to buy her dream wardrobe – so she was delighted when the ‘Revenge Body’ host reached out and sent her some goodies.
Kaelynn shared a photo of herself in a variety of Good American pieces, including a denim skirt, a camouflage workout outfit, and a pair of shorts, and wrote: “I still can’t believe my tweet got so much attention.
“I have adored @KhloeKardashian for so long and am so thankful she took the time out of her day to send me some AMAZING clothes. I never once took her tweet to be anything other than positive. My bulletin board says it all!! (sic)”
The 34-year-old star – who has 11-month-old daughter True with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson – praised Kaelynn as a “positive soul” and was delighted her fan had received her parcel.
She replied: “I am so happy you received your Good American goodies!! Keep working hard and being such a positive soul.”
Kaelynn had caught Khloe’s eye earlier this month when she declared herself “in love” with Good American.
She posted: “So I realized I have to work 20 hours in order to afford @khloekardashian jeans…and I’m in love with them…catch me picking up extra shifts(sic)”
Khloe replied at the time: “Awwwwww this is so cute!!!! I’m so happy you enjoy them.(sic)”
However, a number of other Twitter users criticised the former ‘X Factor’ host for being insensitive and called on her to offer Kaelynn a “coupon code or discount”.
One user wrote: “Not to sound like a hater but this actually upsets me!! Someone had to work a stupid amount of hours to afford ONE pair of jeans. A millionaire thinks it’s ‘cute’ that ppl have to calculate & think how many hours they have to work to afford little things.(sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson is delighted charges against Jussie Smollett have been dropped.
The 48-year-old actress believes the “truth has finally been set free” after prosecutors decided not to go ahead with the 16 counts of disorderly conduct they had charged her ‘Empire’ co-star with following allegations he staged a racist and homophobic attack on himself in January.
She told USA Today newspaper: “I’m happy that the truth has finally been set free, because I knew it all along. We’re all happy for him, and thank God the truth prevailed.”
And Taraji insisted she would have always stood by her on-screen son.
She added: “I’m not going to jump on clickbait just because someone says something derogatory about a person I know and love. I’m not easily swayed like that. Those little clickbait (reports) weren’t enough to deter me from his immaculate track record. I know the type of activism this young man does in his community, I know that he’s a giver – he’s not an attention-seeker.
“When I know someone, there’s nothing you can say to make me flip on them, and that’s what we miss in this world. We need people that stand by us. Whatever happened to that? Why are we so easy to believe strangers over people we know?”
The ‘Hidden Figures’ actress believes the case shows victims should always be “absolutely believed”.
She said: “We should absolutely believe victims. That’s why a lot of people, especially females, feel like they can’t come forward saying they’ve been raped. I believe that’s why we have a whole #MeToo movement, because women have felt they couldn’t come forward because they’d be criminalized in some way. Movements don’t just come out of the sky – movements happen because they’re needed. You have a group of people who haven’t been heard.”
The 36-year-old actor was written out of the final two episodes of ‘Empires’ fifth season to “minimise disruption” to the set but Fox haven’t yet announced whether he’ll be back as Jamal Lyon for season six.
The network simply said: “We are gratified that all charges against him have been dismissed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Doctor Who’ will compete for the Must-See Moment Award at the upcoming BAFTA TV Awards.
‘Killing Eve’, ‘Queer Eye’ and ‘Peter Kay’s Car Share’ will also contest for the Virgin Media-sponsored accolade, which is the only one voted for by the public and which celebrates the dramatic scenes, cliffhangers, laugh-out-loud and edge-of-your-seat TV moments that got the attention of the British public in 2018.
‘Bodyguard’ made the shortlist for the scene when politician Julia Montague (Keeley Hawes) was assassinated, while Gail Rodwell’s (Helen Worth) powerful monologue following Aidan Connor’s suicide saw ‘Corrie’ become the only soap given the nod.
‘Doctor Who’ earned its place among the nominees for its civil rights movement episode when The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) and her companions came face-to-face with Rosa Parks, with the segment praised for the way it “captured Rosa’s powerful act of defiance on a segregated bus.”
The highly-anticipated showdown between Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and besotted assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) in the ‘Killing Eve’ finale also made the list, as did the moment when Sian Gibson’s Kayleigh rescued a hedgehog on a dual carriageway in ‘Peter Kay’s Car Share: The Finale’.
Netflix makeover show ‘Queer Eye’ made the shortlist thanks to the “craft behind its reality format” and for promoting “positivity, well-being and inclusivity”, with lonely truck driver Tom’s dramatic transformation being the particular moment that made the list.
The remaining nominations for the BAFTA TV Awards will be announced on Thursday (28.03.19) ahead of the ceremony, which takes place in London on May 12.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hopper has joined the cast of ‘The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’.
The ‘Umbrella Academy’ star confirmed the news after reports surfaced that he is set to portray the bodyguard Magnusson in the sequel to Patrick Hughes’ 2017 action-comedy ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’, and admitted he’s excited about the role.
Sharing the article to his Instagram page, he wrote: “This one’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The 34-year-old British actor – who has also had roles in the hit TV series ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Luther’ – joins returning cast members Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek.
It was also recently reported that Antonio Banderas has signed on for an unknown role.
The original follows the world’s top protection agent, Michael Bryce (Reynolds) as he is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy – one of the world’s most notorious hitmen, Darius Kincaid (Jackson) – and his wife Sonia (Hayek).
Richard E Grant is reprising his role as Seifert, a drug-addicted corporate executive and client of Bryce.
Frank Grillo will also join the cast and is reportedly set to play an Interpol agent, who needs help preventing a cyber-attack in Europe, in the sequel.
The original movie achieved considerable box office success, earning around $177 million from a $30 million budget and becoming the most popular film in the US for three straight weeks.
Despite starring in ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ and being one of the most famous actors in the world, Reynolds previously admitted he doesn’t employ hired protection as he would feel “ashamed” if he did feel the need to have someone watching him because he is a “big guy”.
When the Hollywood actor and his co-star Jackson were asked if they have personal security guards, the ‘Deadpool’ star explained: “Look, we’re two pretty big guys. I would feel ashamed if I had a bodyguard. The only time I ever have security is when I go to Comic-Con because you need guys to help get you 100 feet.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Bullock was asked to play the lead role in ‘The Matrix’.
Bosses working on the sci-fi trilogy – which celebrates its 20th anniversary later this month – had such a hard time casting someone in the role of Neo, they approached the ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress and offered to rewrite the part as female if she’d be interested in taking it on.
Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told The Wrap: “We went out to so many people I don’t remember. We were getting desperate.
“We went to Sandy Bullock and said ‘We’ll change Neo to a girl.’ [Producer] Joel Silver and I worked with Sandy on ‘Demolition Man’ and she was – and continues to be – a very good friend of mine.
“It was pretty simple. We sent her the script to see if she was interested in it. And if she was interested in it we would try to make the change.”
However, the 54-year-old star turned down the offer.
Lorenzo added: “It just wasn’t something for her at the time. So really it didn’t go anywhere.”
The likes of Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith were also considered for the lead role, but it ultimately went to Sandra’s ‘Speed’ co-star Keanu Reeves.
Through her spokesperson, the Oscar-winning actress praised the producer for always being supportive of her career, but admitted she didn’t remember the specifics of the pitch for ‘The Matrix’. However, she felt that ultimately the right person was cast.
In 2009, Sandra revealed she had been considered for the part of Trinity, and though she regretted not taking it, she felt Carrie-Anne Moss did a great job.
She said: “It was sexy and great because of Carrie-Anne and Keanu.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Beat singer Ranking Roger has died.
The 56-year-old musician – whose real name was Roger Charlery – was diagnosed with two brain tumours and lung cancer after suffering a mini stroke in August 2018 but passed away on Tuesday (26.03.19), the ‘Stand Down Margaret’ group have announced.
A post on the group’s Facebook page read: “”He fought & fought & fought, Roger was a fighter.”
“Sadly Roger past away a few hours ago peacefully at his home surrounded by family.
Roger’s family would like to thank everyone for their constant support during this tough time. More to follow in the coming days. RIP ROGER! [heart emoji] (sic)”
A number of musicians have taken to Twitter to pay their respects to the ‘Drowning’ hitmaker.
Billy Bragg posted: “Very sorry to hear that Ranking Roger has passed away. Rest easy, Rude Boy.”
UB40 wrote: “R.I.P Ranking Roger Big Love UB40 (sic)”
And The Skints praised the “absolute gentleman” who they had had the “honour and privilege” to share a stage with.
The tweeted: “Rest In Peace Ranking Roger. An original inspiration, a rebel to the very end and an absolute gentleman always. It was an honour and privilege to share the stage and share conversations with this man. All love to the Charlery family and The Beat family.”
As well as The Beat – who were known as The English Beat in America and released their first album, ‘I Just Can’t Stop It’, in 1980 – Roger co-fronted General Public alongside Dave Wakeling in the mid-1980s and released a string of solo albums, beginning with 1988’s ‘Radical Departure’.
His most recent release was ‘Public Confidential’ with the current line-up of The Beat earlier this year.
A biography about the singer, which he helped to write, is set to be released in the coming months.

OHMYGOSSIP — Janice Dickinson’s lawsuit against Ryan Seacrest has been thrown out.
The 64-year-old model had taken legal action against the ‘American Idol’ host’s production company after complaining the reality show ‘Shahs of Sunset’ had made her look arrogant and unprofessional.
However, on Tuesday (26.03.19), a judge in Los Angeles County Court dismissed the case, ruling there was nothing in the edit of the show that was misleading enough about Janice for her to be able to win the lawsuit, TMZ reports.
Janice filed her lawsuit against the company – which produces the show – and claimed the programme had been edited to make it look like she stole an outfit Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi was supposed to wear in a fashion show.
In her original suit, the former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant argued the defendants had conspired “to script an episode of ‘Shahs’ to include a false controversy” which “would make it appear that Dickinson had intentionally ‘stolen’ or essentially bullied her way into wearing an outfit which had been purported previously selected for or by Golnesa Gharachedaghi,” prompting her fellow model to “intentionally, maliciously and falsely disparage Plaintiff on camera (but without Plaintiff’s knowledge during photography).”
The model claimed she only learned of the situation after the show aired and when she confronted the production company about it, they sent her a release which they claimed she had signed, but she insisted the document was forged.
The case was originally dismissed in October, but was done so without prejudice, meaning Janice was permitted by the court to file an amended complaint.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Barber-Lane has thanked ‘Hollyoaks’ fans for their support after confirming she has left the soap after 13 years.
The 48-year-old star’s character Myra McQueen surprisingly departed the village in last night’s (26.03.19) E4 episode just hours after she was jilted at the altar by her fiancée Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace) – but Nicole has hinted she could reprise her role at some point.
Speaking in a video on the ‘Hollyoaks’ Instagram account, she said: “I’ve just had my final scene and I will be leaving you guys now and this beautiful, wonderful cast village we have.
“I just want to say thank you for taking Myra to your hearts and she will live in my heart, and she’s taught me a lot.
“I hope to see you again some other time, in some other life.
“Or maybe again as Myra, you just don’t know.
“I can feel nothing but love for ‘Hollyoaks’ – it is the best. Thank you.”
While Nicole “misses” her former ‘Oaks’ co-stars, she is now keen to “do something different” in her career.
She said in a statement: “I loved working at ‘Hollyoaks’. I miss everybody, It just feels like home, but I feel like I need to do something different for me. I’m so proud of the show and I love it to bits.
“My favourite storyline this time around was Myra meeting Sally and that relationship developing in to what it became.
“Also, the little partnership that I had with Lysette Anthony (Marnie Nightingale) that was precious, I love it all.”
Annie has paid tribute to her former colleague, admitting she couldn’t hold back the tears as she watched Myra’s exit scenes.
She wrote on Twitter: “In bits myself. Working with the fab @nicolebarberlan has been brilliant… such fun. Miss her terribly…. Sally and Myra just weren’t to be… (sic)”
Nicole replied: “What a great journey though darling thank you so much for being my sparring partner you certainly are a wonderful actress (sic)”
A message on the ‘Hollyoaks’ Instagram read: “It’s the end of an era… we can’t believe that Myra’s left #Hollyoaks! Let’s all raise a cup to @nicole_barberlane! All the best for the future Nicole! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Scarborough hopes Emmerdale’s Megan Macey can encourage his alter-ego Graham Foster to “have a proper hair cut” to stop him looking like 1970s snooker legend Ray Reardon.
The 46-year-old star is hopeful the pair can make a go of things because he wants Graham to look less like former six-time world champion, who was nicknamed Dracula due to his widow’s peak tresses, and he wants Megan (Gaynor Faye) to make his character to be happier.
Andrew said: “I think she could change him. He could become happier, that would help.
“She could get him to have a proper haircut and not look like Ray Reardon from the 70s, and less like Dracula or an undertaker.
“So he could be a lot happier.
“That is a real, solid, honest relationship. Whereas the one with Kim is fraught, it’s a strange relationship where they care for each other, but there’s a lot of distrust, and a lot of status games going on.
“Megan was the first proper, honest relationship he’s had for quite a while. Well, it turned out he cheated but I think he genuinely was very fond of her.
“I think they’re good together as well.”
Andrew isn’t the only one who wouldn’t mind Graham being a bit happier – as he admitted fans always ask him why he doesn’t smile more on screen.
He said: “I get two questions – did you kill Joe? And why don’t you smile?”
Andrew is relieved the news that Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is alive is finally out in the open, after viewers thought he had been killed off last year.
When asked if he always knew Joe was alive and if he is relieved, he replied: “Yes. Yes I always knew. It was getting tiring … ‘Where is he?'”
