Justin Bieber promises music return

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber will return to music when he has “repaired some of the deep rooted issues” in his life.
The ‘As Long As You Love Me’ hitmaker has promised his fans he will make his long awaited comeback when he is ready but doesn’t want to come back too early and give them half a show as he feels they deserve more.
He wrote on Instagram: “So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album .. I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realised and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour. I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be. Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health.”
And the 25-year-old singer promised when he does come back, it will be with a “vengeance”.
He added in the lengthy social media post: “I will come with a kick ass album ASAP, my swag is undeniable and my drive is indescribable his love is supernatural his grace is that reliable…. the top is where I reside period whether I make music or not the king said so. but I will come with a vengeance believe that.. (grammar and punctuation will be terrible pretend it’s a text where u just don’t care). (sic)”

Kehlani welcomes baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Kehlani has given birth to a baby girl.
The ‘Nights Like This’ singer welcomed her daughter Adeya into the world over the weekend and feels so blessed, despite admitting it was “the absolute hardest yet most powerful thing” that she has ever done.
She wrote on Instagram: “this weekend our angel arrived healthy & perfect in every way in our bathroom at home. unmedicated homebirth was the absolute hardest yet most powerful thing i’ve ever done. thankful beyond words. in love beyond comparison. refraining from posting to be family and rest, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent well wishes, love, and support in all forms while waiting & working to bring Adeya earthside. (sic)”
Kehlani previously confessed she is “really excited” to give birth because she’s always been “interested” in the “extreme pain but also extreme beauty” of childbirth.
She said: “This is weird but I’m really excited to [give] birth. I’m really excited to experience that, just because I’ve always been interested in the birth process my whole life. If I had enough free time and I wasn’t wrapped up in music, I’d probably be a doula or something. But just to feel what the surrender feels like – completely surrendering to the entire process of being in extreme pain but also extreme beauty, it’s very ceremonial for me. So I’m really excited for that.”
Kehlani had also opened up about her battle with prenatal depression, as she insisted her pregnancy has been difficult.
She wrote at the time: “2 days away from the 3rd trimester and this has been the hardest thing ever. From not knowing anything about prenatal depression nor understanding it while it’s been hitting me like a bag of bricks, to being very isolated and alone internally and externally these days, to just the normal terrible sleep/no appetite/anxiety. The struggle to recognise your body in the mirror, the struggle to not feel like no matter what, no one understands. (sic)”

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna settle child support case

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have sorted out child support for their two-year-old daughter Dream.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star and the television personality and model are said to have come to an agreement through meditation about how to work out their child support payments and it has been agreed that neither of them will pay each other anything, The Blast reports.
Rob and Chyna also agreed that they will each pay their own expenses for Dream when they are with her.
The former couple had previously insisted they are “actively co-parenting” in the “best interests” of their little girl.
Rob wrote on his Twitter account: “Angela and I are both actively co-parenting and there are no pending or active custody cases.”
Whilst Chyna added in her own post: “Robert and I only concern is what’s in the best interest of our daughter that we both equally love. Additionally, Robert is a wonderful father to our Dreamy!”
But those comments came just weeks after the 30-year-old model – who also has six-year-old son King Cairo with ex Tyga – called out Rob in an Instagram Live video.
She said: “Ya know what’s so wild to me is that I never asked Tyga for child support, Rob for child support or whatever and then we just went to court, or whatnot, and I tried to squash it, which I did. But none of that comes out. It’s only negative s**t with Chyna, Angela White. We went to court mediation and s**t and I squashed it ’cause I never wanted no money from Rob, ’cause it was never about that, period.
“I have kids by two guys that f***ing tricked me, whatever, and they don’t give me s**t, no child support and I’m sick of that s**t. Rob didn’t help me, Tyga ain’t help me, Toni ain’t help me, but like try to like, smack me down, period, and I’m just letting y’all know this, all this s**t, I built by myself.”

Coleen Nolan is filling her home with animals

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan has bought “another horse and two pygmy goats” to fill the void left by the fact her three children don’t need her to look after them anymore.
The 53-year-old TV star has two sons Shane, 30, and Jake, 26, with her first husband Shane Richie, and Ciara, 18, with her former spouse Ray Fensome, and although she is proud that they have all grown up to be good people she misses being needed so is filling her home with a menagerie of animals.
Speaking as a panellist on ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (25.03.19), she said: “It’s awful. I sometimes have those moments where I pat myself on the back and go, ‘You’ve done well, good job, you’ve got them all there, you’ve got them all to adulthood and they’ve got good work ethic and they’ve grown up lovely.’ And then I have just that sense of, ‘My jobs done and I’m not needed.’ And then something as simple as this happened today and I cried. I had just arrived at the studio and got a text from Ciara and she put, ‘Mum I really can’t make porridge like you, it’s turned out all lumpy and horrible.’ And it was like someone had handed me a winning lottery ticket, I thought, ‘If I’m only needed to make the porridge I’m needed.’ I was so emotional, how pathetic!”
Fellow panellist Andrea McLean added: “She’s got another horse and two pygmy goats!”
Coleen responded: “I am replacing them with animals. I am Mrs Doolittle!”
The ‘I’m In the Mood for Dancing’ hitmaker previously admitted that she would rather share her home with her four dogs than a man.
The ITV star is single again following the end of her 10-year marriage to her ex-husband Ray in 2018, and Coleen insists her four-legged friends are much easier to “live with” because they “don’t want anything from you”.
Speaking about her mutt mates, Coleen said: “To be honest, the thing is with dogs, they’re so happy when you come home, they’re much easier to feed, you know, they’re good at grooming themselves. So the thing with dogs is they give you unconditional love and they don’t want anything from you – except feeding and loving and they won’t sit there and say, ‘Oh you’re putting on a bit aren’t you!'”

Channel 4 launches music show to rival The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Channel 4 is launching its first music talent show to rival ‘The X Factor’.
‘Songland’ will see songwriting hopefuls battle it out to have their song released by a big name in pop music.
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Eurythmics star Dave Stewart came up with the idea for the new show.
There is already a US series in the works for NBC, with a UK version reportedly due to start filming in April.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “The songwriters each perform to a different big music star, and each will choose one song to release as their next song.
“Industry insiders believe this is the best show since ‘X Factor’.
“There’s real raw talent involved and the opportunity to launch some amazing careers.
“The show will put them in front of people that they’d otherwise only dream of meeting.”
The format will see the artists “negotiate” with the contestants and even put their “own stamp” on their tune.
Producers are hoping there will be some “diva behaviour” from both the hopefuls and the stars in the process, as the show gives viewers the chance to have a “fascinating insight” into how a song actually comes to be released.
The source continued: “There will also be the added entertainment of watching the songwriters negotiate with artists who are performing their songs and putting their own stamp on the tune.
“Producers are expecting some diva behaviour from both the potential songwriters and the stars.
“It’s set to be a fascinating insight into what goes on behind the scenes of putting a single together before the big release date.”
‘Songland’ is expected to land a primetime slot to give shows like Simon Cowell’s and ITV’s ‘The Voice’ a run for their money.

Anna Faris praises supportive ex Chris Pratt

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt gave his ex Anna Faris a “heads up” before he proposed to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star reached out to his former spouse before he decided to get down on one knee for his new beau.
Anna revealed: “So, he was so sweet, as he always is. He called me, like, ‘So, I’m going to ask Katherine to marry me. I just wanted to give you a heads-up.’ … I was like, ‘That’s awesome!’ and I told him that I was an ordained minister.”
And Anna is glad her and Chris – who share son Jack – are “respectful” towards each other despite their divorce.
She added: “Under all of these uncoupling circumstances, I think that we are so good and respectful towards each other, and I think there is so much kindness and love, and I know we want to get to that ultimate goal, and I know it sounds lame and optimistic, but that’s what I want.”
The 42-year-old actress and her former spouse have always made a point of ensuring life is as normal as possible for Jack.
Speaking on the Divorce Sucks! podcast, she said: “Well, Chris and I had a long conversation earlier on about – our goal was to have group Thanksgiving dinners together and to be at that place. Do we do that sooner or later? Grudge-holding is not something that Chris and I do. So, we wanted to make sure, of course, that [their son] Jack was happy, but that we were happy and supportive of each other and that we could have this fantasy idea of, do we all spend Christmas together? Do we all vacation together? How do we make sure that everybody that we love feels safe, and that we also respect the love we have for each other?”

Keri Russell is finally cool thanks to Star Wars role

OHMYGOSSIP — Keri Russell is finally a “cool” mom after securing a role in ‘Star Wars’.
The 43-year-old actress says her 11-year-old son River is excited to see his mom appear in the next instalment of the science fiction film franchise.
She said on Good Morning America: “I’ve done this job since he was born. There is not a thing I have done [professionally] that interests him … but this, he thinks is cool. He’s like, ‘That is cool.’ I’m like, ‘Thank you! I am cool!'”
Whilst this role has rated Keri higher in the cool stakes, the actress previously credited ‘The Americans’ for changing her career.
She said: “It was a real adult creative job for me. I wasn’t playing a kid anymore. It kind of woke me up creatively … Elizabeth is tough and cool and strong and sexy and all of these things I really enjoy playing. You don’t always enjoy the characters you get to play.”
Meanwhile, Keri previously opened up about family life with River and Willa, seven – who she has from a past relationship – and two-year-old son Sam, who she shares with her partner Matthew Rhys.
Opening up about their quiet Sundays, she shared: “We make a point every Sunday to have a late lunch, maybe because of Matthew’s Welsh influence. We almost always do a roast chicken or some sort of roast. We make all the kids sit there and talk about their week. The 10-year-old is like, ‘Oh, my gosh – how long is this going to last?’ We usually make a fire, and that’s our family time.”

Dev Patel faces flak over Indian roles

OHMYGOSSIP — Dev Patel gets “flak” for taking Indian roles.
The ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star – who was born in London to parents from Gujarat, India – is fed up of being criticised for “stealing” these parts from “real” Indian actors.
He told the San Francisco Chronicle: “I get flak sometimes because people will say, ‘Why aren’t they giving these roles to a real Indian?’ I wonder, What does that even mean? The only way I can converse with my grandparents is in Gujarati. Does that make me real enough? Or am I only allowed to witness the moments of prejudice and racism going through airports? Is that the only bit that I’m allowed of the culture? … The truth is I’m trying to understand myself better and my heritage, to figure things out, in the movie choices I make. That’s been the greatest thing for me in going to India repeatedly.”
Meanwhile, Dev had previously confessed he “reconnected” with Indian culture when he starred in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ but claimed back in 2016 that he could never really fit in as the locals “could smell the foreigner on me”.
He said: “You start to reconnect to the culture. But I also felt like I stood out in India. It doesn’t matter what I look like – my brown skin. When I went there, for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, they could smell the foreigner on me, no matter what clothes I wore … Freida [Pinto] and I have become people’s access to India. I’m more a product of London than I am of anything, so that shapes you. People ask you, what am I? And I say British, first and foremost.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus ‘overwhelmed’ by support following cancer battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Julia Louis-Dreyfus found the “outpouring of support” following her cancer battle to be “overwhelming”.
The 58-year-old actress has now completed treatment for breast cancer after revealing in September last year that she was suffering from the disease, and has now admitted she couldn’t believe how many people got on board with her charity work in raising money for other women who needed treatment.
She said: “I think I reached a lot of people. I was able to raise a lot of money for women who have had mastectomies, who need reconstruction but insurance doesn’t cover that, and I was really happy to be able to do that. The outpouring of support was quite overwhelming.”
The ‘Veep’ star also praised her family and her co-stars for helping her push through her own treatment with the use of laughter.
Speaking to ‘Good Morning America’, Julia said: “It helped me get through chemotherapy in a big way.”
Meanwhile, the actress previously insisted she never “let” herself think about the possibility of her not beating the disease, and refused to think “dark” thoughts throughout her treatment.
When asked if she ever gave in to “fear” of “self-pity” during her fight against cancer, Julia said: “‘Am I gonna be dead tomorrow’ kind of thing? I didn’t let myself go there. Don’t misunderstand: I was to-my-bones terrified. But I didn’t let myself – except for a couple of moments – go to a really dark place. I didn’t allow it.
“You know if you get on a horse and you have really tight reins and the horse is galloping? I felt like I had really tight reins on myself. That’s what it felt like: I was just holding on tight. I’ve had a really rough year, blah, blah, blah – you know, we’re getting through it.”
The star had her final chemotherapy session in January 2018, and returned back to the set of political comedy ‘Veep’ later that year.

Dax Shepard turned down Parenthood role for Kristen Bell

OHMYGOSSIP — Dax Shepard initially declined a role in ‘Parenthood’ for the sake of his romance with Kristen Bell.
The 44-year-old actor – who is now married to the ‘Frozen’ star and has daughters Lincoln, five, and Delta, four, with her – is known for his portrayal of Crosby Braverman on the NBC series, but has said when he was offered the role during the early days of his relationship with Kristen, he originally turned it down because it was being filmed on the other side of the country.
He said: “Just recently for me – Kristen was the first person [that] a few years in, basically that choice was presented to me and I chose her which blew my mind.
“I got offered ‘Parenthood’ – I hadn’t acted in a long time, no one was offering me anything and they said, ‘This show shoots in Philadelphia’ and I said, ‘There’s no way I can be in this relationship and move to Philadelphia.’
“I turned that show down – which, by the way, is certainly the first time in my life that I had ever done that … I couldn’t believe I was doing it.”
Things worked out for Dax in the end though, when NBC decided to move the show’s filming location to Los Angeles, meaning the actor could take on the role of Crosby – which he played for five years – and maintain his relationship with 38-year-old Kristen.
Speaking on the latest episode of his ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Dax said: “What’s so ironic is you make a decision like that, and then weirdly, you’re rewarded.”
Dax and Kristen have been dating since 2007 – which was just three years before the premiere of ‘Parenthood’ – and tied the knot in 2013.
Recently, the couple said they “had to work really hard” at being a couple, because their personalities are so different.
The ‘CHiPs’ star said: “We definitely had to work really hard at being a couple because we’re both incredibly, painfully stubborn, and we’re pretty much opposites.”

Mandy Moore receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Mandy Moore paid tribute to her ‘A Walk To Remember’ co-star Shane West as she received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
The 34-year-old actress-and-singer gushed about the 40-year-old actor as she received the sidewalk tribute on Monday night (25.03.19) on the Hollywood Boulevard in front of her ‘This Is Us’ co-stars, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Jon Huertas, Justin Hartley, Chrissy Metz and Susan Kelechi Watson, and husband Taylor Goldsmith.
Mandy delivered a heartfelt speech on their friendship and how they were polar opposites before they starred in the 2002 flick – in which they portrayed lovers Jamie and and Landon.
Mandy said: “We couldn’t have been more opposite when we met.
“I was busy wearing ill-advised clothes and having dubious hair choices and wearing eyeliner in my garage punk band or whatever, whatever that was.
“And you were killing it on the pop star scene.
“You had very long beautiful blonde hair at the time.
“I was trying to get you to listen to The Clash or the Ramones. You were not interested but you were very sweet about it, and you stuck to your Fleetwood Mac. Always Fleetwood Mac.
“And so apparently our director for A Walk to Remember, Adam Shankman, decided, ‘Hey, yeah, why not let’s put these two together, let’s put the two opposites attract together.'”
Shane, who joined his close pal on the podium, added: “And I’m glad he did.”
It was then Shane’s turn to gush about the ‘Tangled’ star and how “proud” he is of his “incredibly talented” friend.
He said: “Mandy, you are an absolute gem. Your smile is ridiculous, seriously it’s ridiculous, it lights up a room when you walk in.
“Your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none.
“I always knew you were incredibly talented and I always knew you would go on to do big things, and amazing things and you have.
“Here you are about to be immortalised on Hollywood Boulevard. I couldn’t be more proud of you, I couldn’t be more happy for you. Love ya.”
Mandy – who was just 15 when she launched her career as a singer with the hit song ‘Candy’ in 1999, before moving into films – also admitted that she is finally starting to “own” who she is.
She said: “At this chapter in my life things are starting to feel like they’re coalescing … Those of you who know me well know that I am inherently uncomfortable in this position.
“But recently I have found myself stepping into my power in a new way. I have. I am finally starting to understand and own who I am.”
The creator of comedy series ‘This Is Us’, Dan Fogelman, also spoke briefly and quipped that Mandy was “the worst person I have ever met” during his speech.
He later admitted that Mandy – who portrays Rebecca in his hit show – has “only scratched the surface” of her capabilities as an actress.
He told ‘TODAY’: “I think this next chapter for Mandy personally and professionally is so exciting. It’s ironic that she’s getting this star right now, because she’s only scratched the surface of what she can do as an actress.”

Danny DeVito snuck into theatres to save money

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny DeVito used to sneak into theatres to save money.
The 74-year-old screen legend only earned around $68 a week when he first started out in the movie business, and he and his pals worked out a way to catch shows without having to pay; sneaking in during the interval.
He recalled: “Everybody smoked, so at the intermission, they’d go outside.
“You’d walk over and buy a cigarette, and then when they blinked the lights and called everybody in, you’d go and watch the second act of plays.
“I’ve seen many, many plays — just the second act.”
The ‘Matilda’ star also revealed he used to stash money in his sock drawer as a kid.
The ‘Dumbo’ actor started work early at the age of 14, manning rides at a fun fair in his home city of Ashbury Park, New Jersey, and he says the best advice money-saving advice he can give is to try and “hold on” to as much cash as possible.
Asked how he perceived money as a child, he told MONEY: “My father had a candy store, and my mother worked with him.
“I went to work when I was 14 at the kiddie rides down in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
“I put the little kids on the ride, told them to ring the bell, steer the wheel, that sort of thing.
“I always managed to stick some money in a sock drawer.
“I think it’s good advice, too: Hold onto it as much as you can.”
The Hollywood star also revealed that he is doing his best to save the planet by avoiding buying plastic items.
Asked if there is anything he doesn’t like spending money on, he replied: “If I gotta do something — like if my coffee grinder broke, say, I would go out and get a nice coffee grinder. I’m not shy about buying a salt shaker that is wood and metal — trying to stay away from plastic if I can.”

James Corden to miss A League of Their Own filming

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden is stepping down as the host of ‘A League of Their Own’ for the show’s upcoming series.
The 40-year-old chat show host has been at the helm of the Sky One sporting panel show for nine years, but due to a filming clash, he won’t be able to take part in the programme’s upcoming series.
This will mark the first time in the show’s history that James – who now has a successful career hosting ‘The Late Late Show’ in America – won’t be on screen, and he will instead be replaced by a number of guest hosts.
However, sources say he still “loves” the show and won’t be abandoning ship forever, as he hopes he can return to host as normal in the future.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “James loves ‘A League of Their Own’ and has always ensured he’s been able to appear while his career booms in the States.
“But this summer, work commitments mean he cannot make all of the shows. Hopefully next year he’ll return to normal as he misses everybody involved.”
Previously, James described ‘A League of Their Own’ as “the greatest job in the world”, and said he would love to keep doing the show despite his rapidly growing success in the States.
He said: “When I got offered the show in America, the first thing I said was, ‘I have this show in the UK that I love doing and as long as I’m working in America, I’d love to keep doing this show’.
“It’s an absolute luxury to do something I love and I’m rewarded for. ‘A League of Their Own’ has been incredible to me.”
James has been the host of the show since its creation in 2010, alongside team captains, cricketer Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff and former footballer Jamie Redknapp.
Last series saw the departure of regular panellist Jack Whitehall, who was replaced by fellow comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

Chace Crawford to star in Inheritance

OHMYGOSSIP — Chace Crawford has joined the cast of ‘Inheritance’.
The 33-year-old actor – who is best known for his role as Nate Archibald in teen drama series ‘Gossip Girl’ – is set to star in the upcoming indie thriller currently in production with Vaughn Stein directing.
Chace will join an already star-studded cast led by Lily Collins, and also including Kate Mara, Simon Pegg, Connie Nielsen, and Patrick Warburton.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Inheritance’ – the script for which was penned by Matthew Kennedy – tells the story of a woman (played by Lily) whose father, the patriarch of a wealthy and powerful political family, passes away and leaves her an envelope containing directions to a cabin.
In the cabin, the woman finds an imprisoned man, who opens the door to secrets that will threaten to unravel and destroy their lives and everyone around them.
Chace is believed to be playing the brother of Lily’s character, though it’s not known at this time how major his role is.

UTA and Highland Film Group are co-repping US rights, with Highland Film Group handling foreign sales, which began at American Film Market (AFM) in November last year.
For Chace, the role comes just days after he was confirmed as an addition to the cast of the Charles Manson biopic ‘Charlie Says’, where he will star alongside Matt Smith, who is taking on the titular cult leader.
Chace is set to play the role of Tex Watson, one of the murdering members of the Manson family who was involved in the brutal killing of pregnant actress Sharon Tate.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Kirby has landed the lead role in sci-fi drama ‘StarDream’.
The 30-year-old British actress will have another stab at the genre after 2015’s space opera ‘Jupiter Ascending’ – which saw her portray Katherine Dunlevy – as she is set to play coder Andreya in Bjorn Runge’s forthcoming movie.
‘The Wife’ helmer says he was looking for a star who is “extremely sensitive and thoughtful” and that Vanessa was just that.

Runge is working on a script by Felix Harrison.
According IMDB, the plot line is as follows: “A spaceship is constructed to transport hundreds of thousands of cryogenically frozen humans from a failing planet Earth.

Stereophonics’ Kelly Jones set for solo tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones is set to embark on a solo tour.
The 44-year-old lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and keyboardist of the ‘Have a Nice Day’ hitmakers released his debut – and only – solo album ‘Only the Names Have Been Changed’ back in 2007, and now 12 years on from that release, he’s set to take the material out on the road once more.
Fans are promised a set filled with hits from Stereophonics’ impressive 22-year back catalogue, as well as tracks from Kelly’s own album.
The rocker has also revealed there will be some “new songs” in the mix, and even some covers of songs that have “inspired” him.
In a statement for the tour, he said: “I’ll be performing some old songs, lots of songs I don’t normally do, some new songs, songs that have inspired me and stories that have inspired me. The tour is about overcoming things and moving on from obstacles and building strength from that. I am looking forward to performing with some new musicians and creating some beautiful moments.”
Kelly will be performing six shows across the UK, in cities including Edinburgh, Cardiff, Brighton, London, Birmingham, and Nottingham, throughout June and July this year.
Despite not releasing a solo album since his debut 12 years ago, Kelly last put out a record in 2017, when Stereophonics released ‘Scream Above the Sounds’.
Last month, the band shared a standalone single called ‘Chaos From The Top Down’, which is sung from the perspective of a 15-year-old boy who’s just been shot.
Speaking about the track, Kelly said at the time: “[It] also touches on the tags and labels that have been stuck on [the boy].
“The stereotypes and clichés that were placed on him. It’s based on a true story that happened just outside my street. It’s happening everywhere. I’ve always written about what’s going on around me or within me since ‘Local Boy In The Photograph’ in 1996.”
Kelly Jones’ solo tour dates:
JUNE 2019

08 – St David’s Hall, Cardiff
