Tina Knowles: Duchess Meghan is ‘wonderful’

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles thinks Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is a “great representation” for people of colour.
The 37-year-old former actress – who joined the royal family when she married Prince Harry in May last year – is of African-American descent, and Tina has praised her for her “wonderful” personality, calling her a “beautiful, independent young woman”.
Speaking to Us Weekly magazine at the opening of art exhibition ‘Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963-1983’ the 63-year-old fashion designer – who is the mother of both Beyoncé and Solange – said: “I mean, I think she’s a beautiful, intelligent, independent young woman. I think it’s amazing that she got that opportunity and that she is a great representation for our people. It’s really wonderful!”
Tina’s comments come after Meghan’s former co-star Gregg Sulkin – who starred with her in 2015 film ‘Anti-Social’ – described her as “one of the most sincere and genuine people” he knows.
He said: “Everybody does know her as a princess, but in real life, she genuinely is also like a princess. She is one of the classiest, the nicest, one of the most sincere and genuine people I’ve ever met.”
The British actor also praised the royal – who is currently expecting her first child with Harry – for how well she’s handled the negative criticism that has surrounded her since her relationship with the flame-haired prince went public.
He added: “She’s a superstar. She was a superstar. To me, I’m so proud the fact that she’s part of my country’s history in all honesty, aside from obviously having a personal relationship with her. I just think the way she’s handle it – obviously the press of … you know, it hasn’t been easy for her. And she’s stuck to her guns, which is, you know, ‘when they go low, we go high’ sort of mentality and I think she’s done that. I think she’s been a class act.”

Rochelle Humes’ daughters are ‘opposites’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rochelle Humes’ daughters are “two opposite babies”.
The 30-year-old singer and television presenter has daughters Alaia-Mae, five, and Valentina, two, with her husband Marvin Humes, and has said that whilst her eldest child is “so sociable”, her youngest needed the help of their new puppy Ginger to bring out her “confident side”.
She said: “Alaia’s very outgoing and so sociable. I’ve got two opposite babies. The puppy’s brought a really confident side out in Valle, though, because she’s normally so reserved.”
And the Saturday’s singer wants her daughters to take after her own mother, who worked three jobs to provide for her children and taught her what it meant to be a “really strong woman”.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she added: “I’ve grown up watching my mum raise us on her own, working three jobs, she’s a really strong woman. She didn’t know any different and those were the cards she had been dealt so she just got on with it. If you want something, you work for it. That’s what I want my kids to know and they definitely do.”
Meanwhile, Rochelle previously admitted she wants to have a third child and she thinks it would be great to have a son to complete her and Marvin’s family.
She said: “There was a time when I definitely thought I would only have two children, but now I don’t know. I can’t imagine not having a tiny baby again. I think I’m always really broody but you’ve got to stop somewhere. I actually thought I was having a boy when I had Valentina. But I really wanted Alaia to have a sister, so I thought: if we only had two I’d want another little girl. I’d be the type who’d end up with eight girls trying for a boy.”

Ben Affleck wants to return to directing this year

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck hopes to start directing his next film before the end of 2019.
The 46-year-old actor has left his role as Batman in the DC Extended Universe which means he has stepped away from starring and directing ‘The Batman’ standalone film which will now be directed by Matt Reeves with Affleck remaining as a producer.
The 46-year-old Hollywood star had been attached to direct and appear in an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s ‘Witness for the Prosecution’ but he has now revealed that he doesn’t know what his next project will be as he has “multiple stuff in development” and is waiting to see “which one comes together” first but he’ll be back in the director’s chair.
In an interview with Collider, he said: “I don’t know that it’s going to be the next film. I have multiple stuff in development. I’m hoping to shoot something at the end of the year. I have a couple of different things that are all in various stages of script, and outline, and finished script. We’ll see which one comes together and who wants to make them.”
As for whether the ‘Justice League’ actor will direct something he’s written himself he revealed he has various “irons in the fire” and is waiting to find a partner who “really sees the movie the same way” as him before he starts another project.
He said: “They’re all things I might direct, but there’s one that I just made a deal to do a rewrite on an existing script. There’s another one that’s a book that I’m trying to sell. There’s another one that’s not quite in script form, the writer’s working on it. It’s an outline, and it’s going to be turned into a script. They’re options, all of them, for me to try to direct. Part of it is it’s just so hard to get a movie made, and hard to find someone who wants to partner with you and really sees the movie the same way that it makes sense to have multiple irons in the fire.”

Francis Boulle says production companies need to focus on mental health

OHMYGOSSIP — Francis Boulle says production companies need to focus more on the mental health of its stars.
The ‘Made in Chelsea’ star says reality TV companies concentrate on making “great TV”, but he thinks mental health should no longer be “secondary priority”, which comes following the tragic death of former ‘Love Island’ star Mike Thalassitis, who was found dead in woodland near his Essex home earlier this month aged 26.
He told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “I think often the focus on the production companies is to make great TV.
“Sometimes people’s mental health is a secondary priority – and that means mental health, and vulnerable people, can be subordinate to the aims of production.”
Francis’ comments come after former ‘Love Island’ star Alex Miller recently admitted he went “through a dark patch” after he appeared on the ITV2 show last year, in which he experienced suicidal thoughts.
He said: “I did go through a dark patch where I would look at bridges and think ‘Yeah, I could drive into that’.
“I was in a dark place [after the show]. It was winter time, there was a lot of factors coming up, knowing that everything was sort of coming to an end like getting back into the old routine in the job.”
However, he was put back on the right track as one of the ‘Love Island’ producers spotted one of his social media rants and pointed him in the direction of a psychiatrist.
He recalled: “I had a little rant on Instagram. I went through a bit of a dark patch and luckily one of the producers who follow me on Instagram saw the rant got in touch with me and put me back in touch with a psychiatrist.
“Looking back, all I needed to do was be forward and go talk to them.”

Ant McPartlin doc in the works

OHMYGOSSIP — A documentary is in the works about the “trials and tribulations” facing Ant McPartlin.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ host took most of last year off work to focus on his sobriety after getting arrested for drink-driving, and now his friend Peter Andre has revealed he’s taken part in a programme that focuses on the star and the pressures of fame.
Peter wrote in his new! magazine column: “[Last week] I filmed a segment for a new documentary about Ant and Dec.
“I can’t give too much away because I don’t know what will make the final cut, but it’s basically about the pressures of the industry and the trials and tribulations facing Ant following his drink driving arrest and rehab stint.”
Last year, Peter filmed an appearance for another film about Ant and his presenting partner, Declan Donnelly, which was put together by Channel 5 to mark the pair’s 30th year in showbiz.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer said at the time: “Last week I filmed a TV segment for Ant and Dec’s 30th anniversary, which was good fun!
“I’m unsure when it will air, but it was great to take a trip down memory lane and remember the great things I’ve been involved in with the boys over the years.
“Everything from living above them 22 years ago, when they were PJ and Duncan, to appearing in various shows with them.”
However, the proposed documentary was never broadcast.
Meanwhile, it was revealed last month that work on a programme exploring Ant and Dec’s heritage has resumed, after it was put on hold last year following the former ‘Byker Grove’ actor’s personal difficulties.
ITV’s director of television Kevin Lygo said last month: “We had to stop filming as they hadn’t quite finished it, but I’ve seen the first part and it’s absolutely brilliant.
“They’ve got a bit of filming to do to finish it and it should go out late in the autumn – it will be a big thing.
“We test their DNA and they go back and find relatives they didn’t know about. The DNA profiling is so accurate and detailed
“I mean, it’s not Genghis Khan – there’s a village in Ireland where you have relatives just two generations back.
“Ant and Dec are brilliant together and they don’t know the story so it’s revealed as it happens. They go into a room with relatives they’ve never seen.”

Celebs Go Dating scrap wrap party

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Celebs Go Dating’ cancelled their wrap party last week as a mark of respect for Mike Thalassitis.
The ‘Love Island’ star – who took his own life just over a week ago – appeared on the dating programme in February 2018 and his former girlfriend, Megan McKenna, and friend Sam Thompson have been shooting the current series, so it was deemed inappropriate to celebrate the end of filming so soon after the tragedy.
Kerry Katona, who is also one of the stars to have taken part on the latest series, revealed in her new! magazine column: “The ‘Celebs Go Dating’ wrap party was postponed last week in the wake of what happened.
“Obviously Megan McKenna wouldn’t be there, and I know Sam Thompson’s devastated.
“It just feels like the whole thing wouldn’t be appropriate right now.”
The 38-year-old star has reached out to Megan to offer her support.
She added: “I texted Megan to let her know I was thinking of her but I haven’t heard back yet.
“She’ll need time to grieve such a sad, unnecessary loss.”
Though the Atomic Kitten star only met Mike once, she thought he was “lovely” and described his passing as a “great shame”.
She said: “I only met Mike once but he was so lovely and his death is such a great shame.
“We need to start really looking at why these young people are taking their own lives. Nothing is worth it – there is always, always a solution.”
Days after Mike passed away, the dating show dedicated an episode to the former footballer.
After the credits rolled, a photo of Mike appeared on the screen alongside the words “In memory of Mike Thalassitis 1993-2019”.

Jacqueline Jossa hits back at trolls

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa has blasted trolls who make cruel comments about her appearance.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress – who played Lauren Branning on the BBC One soap from 2010 to 2018 – has taken to Instagram to address the “horrible comments” she receives daily from online bullies who criticise her marriage with husband Dan Osborne.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she said: “Sometimes all the comments and what people say to me gets to me a little bit too much. I’m not ashamed to admit that I don’t like reading horrible stuff about myself.”
The 26-year-old star – who shares daughters Ella, three, and eight-month-old Mia, with Dan – disabled the comments on her account shortly after publishing the video, and insisted the criticisms she receives “hurt” and are “not nice”.
She added: “You don’t get constant different people coming up to you on the street saying, ‘You’ve put on weight, you were so much better looking when you didn’t have kids or when you first came on to ‘EastEnders’,’ or, ‘You’ve gone downhill, no wonder your husband doesn’t wanna be with you,’ and stuff like that.
“I get that on a daily basis and it does hurt, everything that people say to me hurts and it’s not nice. There are certain aspects of my life that I don’t want to talk about. I don’t want to be told I’m fat and ugly, OK?”
Jacqueline’s comments come after she called out keyboard warriors earlier this year for insulting her kids – insisting that it’s “disgusting” and “weird”.
She ranted in a number of posts: “If you want to say something about my kids expect a reply back, expect it to be rude, and expect it to be about your face and your appearance.
“If you insult me or you insult my kids, more importantly, I’m gonna say something back to you or I will block you.
“But just don’t do it, how about that? Don’t be a weird person. Sorry, I’m on a rant now, but I don’t understand.
“I don’t like it, I think it’s rude, I think it’s strange and odd that you have an opinion about someone you don’t know, an opinion so strongly about their kids.
“It’s disgusting, and weird. It gets on my nerves.
“I don’t really care when people say stuff about me, I can just laugh it off and probably agree sometimes, I’m like, ‘Yeah, true.’
“But say something about my kids and it really p***es me off.”

Victoria writer wants Richard Madden to be new hunk

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Victoria’ writer Daisy Goodwin wants Richard Madden to replace Tom Hughes as the show’s new hunk.
The creator of the hit ITV programme is looking for a new heartthrob to replace the 32-year-old actor – whose character Prince Albert will die in the next series – and thinks the ‘Bodyguard’ star would be perfect for the role as the queen’s personal attendant John Brown.
Daisy told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “I’m still thinking about that, but the hottest Scotsman around at the moment is Richard Madden – he would definitely be good.
“Victoria was 42 when Albert died and when you look at pictures of John Brown he was a very attractive man.”
Tom, 32, previously stated he gained weight for the current series so he could portray a more mature version of his character.
He said: “I’m trying to map [Albert’s life] out correctly and be as fair as I can. I’ve put on a bit of weight for this series, I’m holding him differently so Albert feels older.
“I’m trying to age him in the right way, doing as much as I can without cheating him. Those things are important.”
His co-star Jenna Coleman recently confirmed she will likely be replaced in the show as it is impossible for her to continue playing Queen Victoria – who died at the age of 81 – in the regal drama as the character gets older, but admitted she isn’t looking forward to the day when she has to step down and let someone else take over as the monarch in the next stage of her life.
She said: “There’s going to come a point where I have to [to be recast]. The idea I’ll be playing Victoria meeting Abdul is not really possible.”

Amanda Mealing dismisses eating disorder claims

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Mealing has dismissed claims she has an eating disorder.
The ‘Casualty’ star – who plays Connie Beauchamp in the BBC One medical drama – has taken to Twitter to tell social media users she suffers from “extreme back pain” because her job requires a lot of “standing”, after some commented on her weight.
Amanda tweeted: “I’m forced to address something I’d hoped not to. My weight. Luckily for some of you & your insensitivity I am not struggling with an eating disorder.
“I am in extreme & constant back pain and have been for nearly a year. Standing for 11 hrs a day takes its toll. End of. (sic)”
The 51-year-old actress previously opened up about the medical drama’s recent crossover episodes with sister show ‘Holby City’, and she admitted there were definite challenges during filming.
She said: “The shows individually are so tightly scheduled, if you think about it.
“On ‘Casualty’, we have 16 or 17 permanent characters, each of which have to be over four episodes – we shoot four at a time.
“So you can imagine scheduling just that one show. Then you have the fact that we’re four months ahead, ‘Holby’ is three months ahead.”
Quizzed about the chances of other crossovers in the future, Amanda – who originally appeared as Connie Beauchamp on ‘Holby City’ from 2004 to 2010 before joining the cast of ‘Casualty’ four years later – simply added: “You never know.”
Her comments come after she admitted being back on her old stomping ground made her nostalgic.
She previously said: “Do you know what? When I was there, I was walking around, thinking, ‘Do you know what? I’d like to come back, I think. I really would.’ I do love it there, I really do. So we’ll see.
“I didn’t realise how much I loved it. I obviously have great affection for the show. But actually being back just reminded me that I have so many happy memories there.
“It’s like an old friend. It’s like putting an old coat back on, and, you know, it’s lovely.”

Josh Brolin training hard for Dune

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Brolin has been left bruised from his training regime for ‘Dune’.
The 51-year-old actor will play Gurney Halleck, weapons master for House Atreides, who teaches young Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) how to fight in the new adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed 1965 sci-fi novel, and has posted a photo of himself displaying the wear and tear on his body from his workouts along with a quote from the novel’s author.
On Instagram, he wrote: “What has mood to do with it? You fight when the necessity arises – no matter the mood! Mood’s a thing for cattle or making love or playing the baliset. It’s not for fighting.” Frank Herbert, Dune (sic)”
Josh – who stars as the villainous Thanos in Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ franchise – appeared to have gained some bruises and scratches on his arm as he trains for the film which has been given a November 20 release date by Warner Bros.
‘Dune’ tells the complex story of Baron Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgard) and his nephew Glossu ‘Beast’ Rabban (Dave Bautista), whose family once ruled Arrakis, as they try to reclaim control of the desert planet from the House Atreides and the control of production of the drug melange – also known as “the spice” – which extends life, improves health and can give people limited precognition as well as being vital to faster than the speed of light space travel making it the most sought after commodity in the universe.
As well as featuring Timothee as Paul, the all-star cast includes Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, Javier Bardem and Jason Momoa among others.
The project is being created by Legendary Entertainment, and will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, who will also produce alongside Mary Parent and Cale Boyter.
Villeneuve also wrote the script from the original book with the help of Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts.
Legendary acquired the film and TV rights in 2016 after signing a deal with Herbert’s estate for his iconic tome.
Villeneuve previously admitted ‘Dune’ is his “dream project” as he was obsessed David Lynch’s 1984 film adaptation.

Nikki Bella announces wrestling retirement

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella has announced is retiring from wrestling.
The 35-year-old WWE star is “ready” to move on with the next chapter of her life and quit professional wrestling for good because the travel aspect of her job has become “really tough”.
Opening up about the recent decision on her reality show, ‘Total Bellas’, Nikki said: “[The tour] was good but I just feel like I’m too old for that travel.
“The travel was really, really rough. So, I realised, I was like, why am I doing this? I don’t feel good. I really am ready to hang up the jersey, like I can say it fully.”
The two-time WWE Divas champion has had a successful 12-year career in the ring, however Nikki is looking to focus on future endeavours like her successful fashion line, and her much-anticipated ‘The Bellas Podcast’, which is launching on Wednesday (27.03.19).
This news comes after Nikki’s twin sister Brie – who makes up the second half of iconic wrestling duo The Bella Twins – also announced she was retiring on the pair’s reality series.
Brie made the decision to bow out from in-ring competition following her bout against Ronda Rousey at WWE’s first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event ‘Evolution’ in October in order to focus on her 22-month-old daughter Birdie, and she and husband Daniel Bryan are moving back to Phoenix, Arizona.
In scenes aired on their reality show ‘Total Bellas’ earlier this month, Brie told her sister: “So I decided after Evolution, I’m gonna be fully retired. Fully done and that Bryan and I are looking for a house in Phoenix because we’re moving back… Birdie is truly number one.”
The former WWE Divas champion’s announcement came as a shock to her twin sister, as she felt it was a subject they would have discussed together.
She said in a confessional: “I’m a bit shocked right now hearing Brie say that she’s going to retire and move to Phoenix.
“Like talk about dropping two huge bombs. I guess retirement, I always thought that’d be something Brie and I would talk about together. I just did not expect this big change after such an incredible comeback.”

Michael Madsen arrested for driving under the influence

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Madsen has been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 61-year-old actor was detained by police after crashing his Range Rover into a pole on Sunday night (24.03.19) in Malibu, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The ‘Kill Bill’ star was “immediately suspected” to have been drinking and was given a field sobriety test, according to TMZ.
The test revealed his Blood Alcohol Content was .10 while the legal limit is .08, leading Michael to be arrested for a misdemeanour DUI.
A spokesperson for the LA County Sheriff’s Department confirmed: “He was arrested for DUI last night at 9.21pm. His vehicle was a light SUV that did strike a pole […] on Heathercliff road in the city of Malibu.”
The ‘Hateful Eight’ star’s bail was set at $15,000 and Michael paid and was released this morning (25.03.19).
A representative for the actor claimed his crash was likely due to him taking prescription medication at a different time than he usually does.
His attorney, Perry Wander, told The Blast, “We are waiting for the blood report but we suspect that his accident was caused by side effects to medication that he was taking under a doctor’s care.
“It works better when taken at night before bed and he took it earlier. Modifying the timing of drugs to achieve the greatest benefit with the lowest risk of unpleasant side effects is called drug chronotherapy.”
And the lawyer explained his client plans to “provide that defense in court if charges are filed.”
In 2013, Michael was court ordered to enrol in rehab for 30-days after he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The actor was pulled over by police in 2012 for “erratically” driving a red sports car along the California coast – however a plea deal was met which involved attending regular alcoholics anonymous meetings.

Ralph Macchio won’t make another Karate Kid film

OHMYGOSSIP — Ralph Macchio doesn’t think he’ll ever make another ‘Karate Kid’ film.
The 57-year-old actor starred as lead character Daniel LaRusso in 1984 teen sports drama ‘The Karate Kid’ and it’s two sequels and he has returned to the beloved character for web television series ‘Cobra Kai’ – which takes place 34 years after the original film and follows the reopening of the Cobra Kai karate dojo by down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and the rekindling of his old rivalry with successful businessman LaRusso.
Following the success of ‘Cobra Kai’ there have been discussions about making a fourth ‘Karate Kid’ film with those characters but Macchio thinks the continuation of the story works better as a television project now rather than a big screen project because “movies have changed”.
In an interview with Forbes, he said: “It has been discussed, but it’s not something that I think we’re moving forward with and here’s the reason for that.
“To go back and try to do a traditional major motion picture sequel, movies have changed in the sense of what plays in the movie theatres and for how long. It’s usually big IPs like superhero movies that get that screen time and then there’s everything else. It’s hard.”
The ‘Outsiders’ star went on to explain that “the beauty” of telling the characters’ continuing story in an episodic way is that it “allows the characters to breathe” and can be more in-depth than a motion picture.
He said: “Also, the beauty of doing this as a series is that you’re taking this series and making a five-hour movie then cutting up into ten half-hour parts. It allows the characters to breathe then you’re allowed to go into grey areas of Daniel and Johnny’s lives, to explore the younger characters as well as the plot.
“You’re able to let all of that breathe in a way that, when you’re making a two-hour motion picture, it has to be bigger, louder, powerful and something that keeps you in your seat for two hours and get someone in their car to go to a movie theatre.”
Macchio also discussed the possibility of Elizabeth Shue reprising her role as Ali Mills – LaRusso’s love interest in the original movie helmed by John D. Avildsen – in ‘Cobra Kai’, admitting the idea has been brought up.
He shared: “I know anyone who was in these films can be inferred storywise. The catalyst of this rivalry at the centre of the ‘Karate Kid’ story was this character, Ali, that Elisabeth Shue played. We’d be foolish to say we’re not exploring that. Whether that happens or not, those conversations have been in play. It’s whether it would work organically in the story. I can’t tease anything beyond that. Right now they’re tight-lipped about all that stuff, but anything is possible. We have to hope it all works in our favour.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is selling BDSM lingerie and whips on Goop

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is selling a $786 BDSM leather lingerie set.
The 46-year-old actress is no stranger to sparking controversy on her lifestyle website by previously advising readers to purchase a $15,000 24k gold vibrator and vaginal jade eggs, however, the star has now turned her attention to the world of BDSM and is selling a nude leather bra and knicker set ($786) alongside a black whip ($300), which promises to fulfil consumers “fantasies”.
The lingerie set’s product description reads: “Handmade in England, this saddle leather bra is what BDSM fantasies are made of.
“O-ring details, racy demi cups for freeing the nipple, buckles to be undone, this piece–paired with the matching knickers–is prepped for full speed ahead. Layer an easy tee underneath for a more subtle statement.”
The ‘Iron Man’ star has previously admitted last month that she would be retiring from her role as Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after the release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ this summer, and some fans have been asking her if this spells the end of her acting career.
However, Gwyneth has now insisted that whilst her “full-time passion” is now her lifestyle website Goop, she isn’t giving up her Hollywood career completely.
She said: “I’ve never said that I am quitting acting. What I say is Goop is my full-time passion, and being the founder and CEO of Goop is what I do all day every day, and occasionally when something is the right thing and it works out around my children and my Goop life, I’m able to participate.
“I think I’m just not focused on full-time acting right now.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress recently said she felt she was “masquerading as an actor”, when asked if she sees herself “as an actor who developed a career as a lifestyle entrepreneur, or a lifestyle entrepreneur who happened to have a career as an actor.”

Lorena Rae admits Victoria’s Secret is ’empowering’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorena Rae says Victoria’s Secret is an “empowering” brand to work for.
The 24-year-old German model – who made her prestigious Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut last year – loves working with the lingerie giant because they represent a strong “woman”.
She admitted: “I’ve always seen VS as a very empowering brand for women, which was a reason I’ve always dreamed of being a part of it.”
Lorena also explained that although she loves her modelling career, it can be challenging being away from her family “all of the time”.
Speaking to Grazia Australia, she said: “The most challenging thing about modelling is definitely being away from your family all the time. Living out of a suitcase mostly makes you feel restless. But on the flip side, I love it. It helps me grow and appreciate the time I actually get to see my family and friends.”
The blonde beauty – who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio – stays positive despite a lot of “negative comments” on social media by surrounding herself with friends and family who support her “mentally”.
She added: “Luckily, I haven’t experienced too much attention just yet. Since I share quite a lot of my personal life on social media, there isn’t a lot of room for rumours.
“But I think it’s important to have a lot of people behind you who support you mentally and help you to laugh about these kinds of things because these days it happens easily to each and every single one of us. We take negative comments to heart and we start to be too hard on ourselves.”

Kerry Katona battled suicidal thoughts

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona has battled suicidal thoughts in the past.
The 38-year-old singer and media personality has said there’s been times in her life where “ending it all” seemed like “the easier option”, but insisted there’s “always another way” to keep on living.
Speaking in response to the tragic death of former ‘Love Island’ star Mike Thalassitis, who took his own life earlier this month, Kerry said: “There have been times in my life where ending it all seemed like the easier option, but there’s always another way. It’s so hard when young people who have just got into this industry can’t handle social media and people’s opinions.”
And Kerry – who has Molly, 17, and Lily-Sue, 16, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 12, and Maxwell, 10, with former spouse Mark Croft, and four-year-old Dylan-Jorge with estranged husband George Kay – says she’s now learned how to “love” herself and “accept” her flaws, as she’s now “proud” of the way she looks.
She added: “You’ve got to learn to love yourself and accept your flaws. I’m covered in stretch marks, but that’s my kid’s signatures! I’m proud of them and I’d never change them.”
Despite her own mental health struggles when it comes to life in the spotlight, Kerry insists she’d “love” to have her own reality show with her children, as she wants to be the next Kris Jenner – who’s known for being the matriarch and momager of the Kardashian Jenner family.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I’d love my own reality show with the kids. I want to be the next Kris Jenner!”
