Mel B: I can be painfully weak

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B thinks she can be “painfully weak”.
The 43-year-old pop star has admitted that in spite of her tough public persona, she can be very different behind closed doors – especially during her marriage to Stephen Belafonte.
Mel – who previously accused her ex-husband of being physically and emotionally abusive towards her – told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m only strong in certain ways. I’ve been painfully weak.
“There was a point when I was like, ‘Yeah, I am a really bad person. I am ugly, I am worth nothing. I am a has-been Spice Girl.’ All these negative things that would be drilled into me on a daily basis by him. You start to believe it.”
In fact, Mel admitted that her sense of “panic or shock” even caused her to wake up some mornings in urine, faeces, vomit and blood.
She explained: “Sometimes I would have been in such panic or shock that I’d have been physically sick.
“Part of that cycle is you get blamed: ‘Look what you’ve done to the sheets.’ And you go, ‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry.’ And you clean it up, or throw it away and that’s that.”
However, Mel said that her music and TV career – which included a stint on the Australian version of ‘The X Factor’ – allowed her to escape the unhappiness of her marriage.
The pop star – who divorced Stephen in 2017 – shared: “That was when I felt in control – when I was on TV, or in photoshoots, or being interviewed. That’s what kept me somewhat sane.
“But then you go, ‘Well, I’m married and I have to go back to that.’ And you don’t see a way out.”

The 1975’s garage music influence

OHMYGOSSIP — The 1975’s next album will feature elements of “UK garage”.
The ‘Somebody Else’ rockers only released their third studio album, ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ on Friday (30.11.18), but their fourth record – which will be titled ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ – is set to be released in 2019 as part of an era of music dubbed ‘Music For Cars’.
And now, frontman Matty Healy has explained that one track on the 2019 album called ‘Frail State of Mind’ is an exploration of social anxiety, which draws inspiration from the UK garage music scene.
He said: “[The song is a] UK garage, sad, Burial kind of thing about social anxiety, you know, going out. I’m better at it happening, [at] me and you sitting down and having a conversation, than thinking about going to do the conversation. The social event’s normally always fine, but the build up to it, I hate it.”
The 29-year-old rocker also revealed the album has “big, bombastic elements” to it, but will mostly take the form of a “pure version of The 1975”.
He added: “I think [the album will] be similar in the way that ‘Brief Inquiry’ can be quite deconstructed – there’s big, bombastic elements to it, but it’s a very stripped, pure version of The 1975.”
But the ‘Chocolate’ singer is concerned that fans and critics will see both the albums as “intrinsically connected” because of the overarching ‘Music For Cars’ “era” – when he insists that wasn’t his original intention.
Speaking to Dazed magazine, he said: “My only fear is that because I’ve put this umbrella over both albums, they’ll be perceived as intrinsically connected. But that was never my intention; I’m just making records. I’ve gotta always want to be making my masterpiece. Otherwise, what’s the point?”

Kim Kardashian West acknowledges private flight to Japan was ‘unnecessary’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West knows the private flight that she and Kanye West took to Japan on Monday (26.11.18) was “unnecessary”.
The 38-year-old reality TV star and Kanye, 41 – who have kids North, five, Saint, two, and ten-month-old Chicago together – outraged fans when they decided to take a virtually-empty 747 plane to Tokyo.
An insider explained that the trip to Japan was taken for Kanye’s own “artistic” reasons.
Speaking to People, the source shared: “He feels very inspired and creative at the moment, so she wants to be supportive.
“She is aware of the 747 backlash – it wasn’t her idea. And again, she is trying to be supportive of Kanye.”
Although Kim acknowledges that the extravagance was “unnecessary”, she doesn’t have any intention of saying sorry.
In fact, the brunette beauty – who has been married to Kanye since 2014 – “doesn’t expect other people to understand” their lifestyle.
The source said: “She realises it’s seen as something unnecessary and extravagant, but she isn’t making any excuses. They have a different lifestyle and she doesn’t expect other people to understand.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star actually documented their luxurious journey to Tokyo on her Instagram account.
In one of the videos she posted of their trip, Kim said: “No big deal, just taking a private 747. This is how he does it now. Only 747s, private. I’ve never even heard of this, but whatever.”
In another of her videos, Kim admitted that flying on a private 747 was a “pretty insane” experience.
She said: “So this is what a private 747 is like, you guys. I’ve never been on one before. Oh my god, there’s bedrooms everywhere. No big deal. This is like endless.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Malin Akerman has married Jack Donnelly.
The ‘Billions’ actress tied the knot with her actor boyfriend in a sweet ceremony on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, on Saturday (01.12.18), according to People magazine.
A source told the publication Malin, 40, was wearing a pink gown as she said her vows in front of family and friends, but as of the time of writing, no further details are known about the pair’s nuptials.
Jack, 32, proposed to Malin last year, and she revealed the news in October that year on Instagram when she said he had stolen the hearts of both herself, and her five-year-old son Sebastian – whom she has with ex-husband Roberto Zincone.
She wrote at the time: “This sweet and loving man has stepped into our lives and stole both our hearts! I think we’re gonna keep him around for a while 😉 #engaged #isaidyes #jackdonnelly #family #yes (sic)”
Meanwhile, earlier this year, the ‘Heartbreak Kid’ actress revealed she’d actually known Jack for several years before they began dating.
She said: “[Jack] is actually my youngest sister’s boyfriend’s friend from drama school in England. I have known him for the past four years but didn’t see him … Then all of a sudden he came back from England like a year-and-a-half ago, and I went, ‘Wow, have you always been this cute?'”
But what really sealed the deal for her is how good he was with her son.
She added: “He was brilliant with my son and that was it, and my heart melted. You try to explain to a 4-and-a-half-year-old that you’re getting married and what an engagement is, and he jumped up on the couch and went, ‘Yay, we’re getting married!'”

The American model – who is an avid tweeter – has given her followers a behind-the-scenes insight into how she and her husband John Legend celebrated her big day in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
In a series of tweets about her birthday, Chrissy – who also revealed her appreciation of Ariana Grande’s ‘Mean Girls’-inspired music video for ‘Thank U, Next’ – wrote: “today has been very special. the thank you, next video

The model – who has been married to the musician since 2013 – then quipped: “42 feels good
“John won’t let me go to dinner in my towel even thought it is my favorite outfit (sic)”
Chrissy subsequently posted a video – which was shot by John – of her running to a dinner table on a beach.

Chrissy’s final birthday-themed video was of a bed covered in rose petals with a big love heart in the middle.
Chrissy – who officially turned 33 on Friday (30.11.18) – says in the clip: “This … feels like a lot of pressure.”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently revealed sees Twitter as her “connection to the world”.
The model shared: “People are like, ‘Why do you have time for all of these strangers?’ But that is my outside connection to the world.
“I genuinely love doing it. I always have. I enjoy talking to people and feeling like I know them and having this conversation.”
Chrissy briefly abandoned Twitter after she received threats following a message she posted about gun control, but she eventually decided to return to the platform.
She explained: “Our lives would be so much easier if we didn’t dabble in politics at all, but I don’t want that kind of life. For us, we are willing to take that risk, because we believe in it so passionately.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lenny Kravitz has posted a sweet tribute to his daughter Zoe Kravitz in honour of her 30th birthday.
The iconic musician took to Twitter on Saturday (01.12.18) to ring in his daughter’s milestone birthday with a picture of a young Zoe riding on the back of her father’s motorbike.
He wrote alongside the snap: “Happy birthday baby girl @ZoeKravitz. We ride ’til the wheels fall off. I love you beyond comprehension. Xx (sic)”
Lenny’s post comes after the ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ star – whose mother is Lenny’s former wife Lisa Bonet – recently claimed having “cool” parents made her feel insecure growing up.
She said: “When your mom and dad are both so cool but you’re not, I think maybe that’s where I get this idea that I’m really not cool. That has stuck with me for ever.
“I had a really hard time when I was 16, 17, 18. Just loving myself. My mother’s a beautiful woman and I think, in some way, I felt intimidated by that sometimes.”
Zoe also struggled with 54-year-old Lenny’s touring schedule growing up, as although she didn’t “feel abandoned”, his time away from home still had an impact on her.
She said: “He wasn’t absent. But he was working a lot. I didn’t feel abandoned or anything. But when you’re that age, and someone comes and goes, it feels like Santa Claus or something – it’s this event.”
And after her parents split and she moved in with Lenny at age 11, she recalled how he would show up to her school in “a sports car and leather pants”.
She added: “He’d pick me up, and the entire school would flock to the parking lot. And he wasn’t being subtle: He’d show up in a sports car and leather pants and a netted shirt. Like, ‘Dude, can you just be low-key a little bit? Just a shirt that I can’t see your nipples through would be so dope.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon has thanked Ariana Grande for paying homage to ‘Legally Blonde’ in her new music video.
The 42-year-old actress has taken to her Twitter account to show her appreciation for Ariana, whose new video for ‘Thank U, Next’ sees the chart-topping pop star imitate the character of Elle Woods from the hit movie series.
Alongside an image of herself and Ariana dressed as Elle, Reese wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “Thank u, next [clapping emoji] [love heart emoji] @ArianaGrande #ElleWoodsForever (sic)”
Ariana, 25, subsequently reached out to the award-winning actress on Twitter, admitting she tried to distinguish her look from that of the movie.
And she also thanked Reese for her kind words.
Ariana wrote: “omg we tried to put our own twist on it so legal wouldn’t come for us but THANK U. this is the biggest honor. love u more than words. [love heart emoji] (sic)”
The much-discussed video – which also features a ‘Mean Girls’-inspired segment – sees Ariana touch on some of her past relationships with the likes of Pete Davidson and Ricky Alvarez.
And Lindsay Lohan – who starred in the 2004 comedy movie – recently admitted to being “flattered” by Ariana’s decision to use ‘Mean Girls’ concepts in the video.
She said: “Ain’t nobody Lindsay Lohan like the real Lindsay Lohan.
“But so flattered by @arianagrande loving #MeanGirls so much! (sic)”
Similarly, the official Twitter account of the ‘Mean Girls’ Broadway show – which is written by Tina Fey – has also given the new video its seal of approval.

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton Hanson wants to become a sex education teacher.
The ‘Love Island’ contestant previously worked as a stripper and a webcam girl before entering the infamous villa – where she enjoyed romances with Eyal Booker, and current boyfriend Wes Nelson – this summer, and has said her sexual history puts her in good stead to answer questions about sex that students might be too “embarrassed or shy” to ask their usual teachers.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Sex education is really important and I want to go back to school to teach kids and answer questions they might be too embarrassed or shy to ask their teachers.
“Schools have a responsibility, as do parents, to teach their kids. I think if it’s awkward and weird coming from a much older teacher it doesn’t work or sink in. Me teaching sex education in schools would be brilliant.”
Her comments come after she revealed she doesn’t have any regrets about her past, and doesn’t understand the stigma attached to stripping.
She said: “I did it for a year – I got in, I got out, I earned my money, I didn’t hurt anyone. I don’t see why it’s so negative. Men enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, couples came in … everyone is happy!”
As well as being open about her sex life, Megan also openly defended her decision to spend around £25,000 on cosmetic surgery, which included the cost of breast enlargement surgery, jaw surgery and a bum lift.
The blonde beauty insisted she’d earned the money and was entitled to spend it how she wished.
She said: “I worked so hard to get all the money I could and I feel like I can spend it any way I want.”
Megan admitted the surgery has helped her to battle the self-confidence issues she experienced during her teenage years.
She explained: “If it makes me feel better I don’t know why that’s seen as a negative thing?
“I was still beautiful in my own way back then, I’ve just changed a few things. I was comfortable then and I’m comfortable now.”

Faye Tozer tops the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Tozer and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice top the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ leaderboard following tonight’s (01.12.18) performances.
The 43-year-old pop singer and Giovanni, 28, wowed the ‘Strictly’ judges with their Charleston, earning the second perfect score of the series.
Bruno Tonioli hailed their performance, describing the routine as a “masterpiece”.
Fellow judge Darcey Bussell was similarly impressed.
She said: “A move to every beat, never lost focus or character, stunning perfection.”
Shirley Ballas added: “You’re a pure diamond, not a flaw.”
Meanwhile, Stacey Dooley – who is partnered with Kevin Clifton – and Ashley Roberts – who is dancing with Pasha Kovalev – also impressed the judges, both achieving an overall score of 38.
Following her performance, Bruno told Ashley – who is considered to be among the favourites for this year’s ‘Strictly’ crown – that her routine was a “smash hit”.
He added: “You mastered it, breathtaking sequence at the end.”
At the other end of the ‘Strictly’ leaderboard are Lauren Steadman and her partner AJ Pritchard, as well as Charles Venn and his partner Karen Clifton.
Despite failing to wow the judges on the night, they both still achieved a respectable score of 35.
Bruno hailed Charles’ rumba, telling him: “You created a tangible atmosphere, made it tender and touching – a triumph.”
And Craig Revel Horwood was similarly enthusiastic about Charles’ routine, despite his relatively modest score.
He said: “Make your free arm, more expressive, feet bolted to the floor – but the most masculine rumba I’ve every seen and the best male rumba we’ve ever had.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Edmonds’ wife anticipated his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ exit.
The 69-year-old TV legend – who was the last celebrity to enter the Australian jungle – lost out in the public vote on Friday (30.11.18) and was made the first star to leave the camp, and now his wife Liz has said she had “a feeling” he was going to be voted off, but thinks his early exit is “very positive”.
Speaking to The Sunday Mirror newspaper, Liz said: “I thought he was going to go, I don’t know why, it’s just a feeling, but I think it will be for the good.
“Lots of people might be sad and angry he’s out but I’m really pleased. There is a reason for everything and usually around Noel those reasons turn out to be very positive.
“Think about it, his audience, all his old fans from Swap Shop probably don’t vote. The cosmos gives you everything for a reason. If this is the decision, then so be it.”
Noel was paid a whopping £600,000 to take part in the ITV reality show, but after lasting just nine days before being voted out, his pay equated to £2777 a day.
Liz defended her husband of nine years, saying it isn’t “his fault” his pay was so high.
She added: “People are saying he’s been given a lot for just a few days’ work but that’s not his fault.”
And Liz is pleased viewers got to see the Noel that she sees “every day”, as she says the ‘Deal or No Deal’ star is a “huge joker” at home.
She said: “At least people have actually seen the Noel that I see every day. He is a huge joker and so much fun.
“I am very proud. People have seen the Noel I know – which sometimes isn’t represented in social media.”

Scarlett Lee duets with Robbie Williams on The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Lee performed a stirring duet with Robbie Williams on tonight’s (01.12.18) ‘X Factor’.
The 20-year-old make-up artist – who also starred on the ITV show in 2017 – teamed up with the British pop star for an emotion-filled rendition of Robbie’s 1997 single ‘Angels’.
Robbie, 44, hailed Scarlett, telling the aspiring star that she’s “easy to love”.
Simon Cowell, who is Scarlett’s mentor, also praised the wannabe pop star.
The music mogul shared: “Scarlett is real, genuine, [she] needs a break, she’s got a great voice and is fun.”
Elsewhere, Dalton Harris teamed up with Emeli Sande for a performance of her hit ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’.
Following their duet, Emil heaped praise on Dalton, describing the up-and-coming star as “amazing” and “incredible”.
She added: “[Getting to know him has] just been wonderful. You’re such a genuine soul and spirit. And your voice is just like honey, so vote for Dalton!”
And the 24-year-old singer admitted that performing with Emeli was one of his “wow” moments of the series.
Meanwhile, Anthony Russell – who is being mentored by Louis Tomlinson – performed a duet with Scottish star Tom Walker.
Louis, 26, subsequently hailed his act and said he was delighted to see Anthony relishing his big opportunity.
He said: “It’s so lovely to see you so happy on the stage.”
All three of the remaining acts will discover their fate on Sunday’s results show.

Richard Madden was ready to leave Game of Thrones

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Madden was “ready to leave” ‘Game of Thrones’ when he did.
The 32-year-old actor portrayed King of the North Robb Stark for three seasons until his character was brutally killed off but he didn’t feel “cheated” not to see the fantasy drama series through when it ended.
He told Britain’s GQ magazine: I was ready to leave when I did. It was five years from the pilot until I finished filming. For any actor, five years is too long to play a part. I didn’t feel cheated at all. I was ready to leave.”
However, Richard – who previously admitted he was “paid f**k all” for his role in the show” admitted he has missed out on a huge pay cheque by not staying with the show.
Asked if they were paid more after he left, he said: “F**k yeah. Crazy much more. [Ten times more?] More.”
After suggesting it was over 20 times more, he added: “I know roughly what some of the leads get now.
“And we’re talking changing the decimal place by a few. That would have been nice, but at the same time I look back at all the different jobs I’ve done since I finished and I look at some of the actors who I love on that show and they’ve not maybe had the opportunity to do those things, because they’ve been tied to the show, whereas I’ve played a lot more different parts.”
The ‘Bodyguard’ star admitted he was “terrified” after he left the show because he wasn’t sure what work would be available to him.
He said: “Terrified that you’re never going to work again. Terrified that you’re just going to be defined by one thing. That it was a fluke accident and that anyone who got cast as Robb Stark would have had the success of that. And it just happened that it was you when it could have been someone else.
“Terrified of just getting cast as Romeos, princes and young kings.”

Fleur East to face the next Bushtucker Trial

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East is set to face the next Bushtucker Trial on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 31-year-old pop star – who previously starred on ‘The X Factor’ – has become the latest member of the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ camp who has been chosen to face her fears in the Australian jungle.
However, all of the remaining campmates were relieved to be told by the show’s co-hosts, Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby, that there would not be an eviction on this evening’s (01.12.18) show.
Earlier in the same episode, ‘Coronation Street’ actress Sair Khan excelled during her own Bushtucker Trial, winning ten stars for the group.
Sair, 30 – whose Trial was called Savage Sewers – was tasked with making her way through an underground cavern of tunnels and trying to collect stars as she completed a series of mini-tasks.
At one stage during the Trial, Sair had to unlock a key from the ceiling of a tank that was rapidly filling with water.
Sair could be heard saying: “Hate water. Hate being in the water and confined spaces. But … just got to keep calm … just got to keep calm.”
Meanwhile, Holly said: “Look! You can barely see her head!”
But the actress ultimately claimed ten stars and later admitted to being proud of her efforts.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has bemoaned the rising cost of her beauty regime.
The 26-year-old rap star has taken to Instagram to hit out at the cost of her grooming routine, revealing she spends as much as $1,000 simply to get her hair and nails done.
Speaking from the back of a limo, Cardi explained: “Let me tell you mother*****s something, it’s getting more and more expensive – well, nah for real, it’s getting more expensive to maintain us women.
“You know this is not the early 2000s and s**t where you give a b***h $100 to get her mother******g hair done, nails done, her eyebrows done. Whatever.”
Cardi – who is famed for her outspoken nature – then went into more detail about how much she specifically spends on her hair and nails these days.
The New York-born star – whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar – said: “Let me tell you something … like, b*****s is not getting the $17 full set with the three pre-nail design mother*****r.
“B****es want the gel set and some hos, like me – you know what I’m saying – want Swarovski crystals. So that about there is about $200 – the end nail. You know what I’m saying.
“And then the hair? We are not in the era where b*****s do the blow outs, you know what I’m saying, or the sew-ins and s**t. Nah, b*****s want the full lace wig. The wig is about $800, $500, it really depend where you get it from.
“This dye about, I say about $300-$200. $300. So, just on that at it’s $1,000! So … what’s good?”

Rupert Grint likens leaving Harry Potter to ‘stepping out of an institution’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rupert Grint thinks leaving the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise was like “stepping out of an institution”.
The 30-year-old actor starred as Ron Weasley in the money-spinning film series, and Rupert has admitted to being somewhat relieved to leave the role behind him in 2011, when ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2’ was released.
He confessed: “The line between Ron and me became thinner with each film and I think we became virtually the same person.
“There’s a lot of me in Ron and moving on was a massive adjustment because it was such a constant part of my life.
“I don’t want to liken it to coming out of prison because it wasn’t a prison, but it did feel like stepping out of an institution. It was nice to breathe the fresh air and now I’m really enjoying stepping further away from that blue-screen world.”
Rupert thinks his acting career has already “peaked”, but the British star – who appeared alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the ‘Harry Potter’ films – is enjoying the next chapter of his life.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I peaked pretty early, but I’m fine with that. It would be ridiculous to think that you can replicate that level of success.
“It’s always going to be a challenge, but I’m kind of enjoying that. It’s quite fun to surprise people.”
In fact, Rupert revealed he even contemplated walking away from the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise while he was filming one of the movies.
He shared: “There were definitely times when I thought about leaving.
“Filming ‘Harry Potter’ was a massive sacrifice; working from such a young age for such long periods and I definitely remember thinking during one extended break, ‘This whole thing is so all consuming, do I really want to go back? Maybe it’s just not for me.’ I guess I was probably just being a teenager.”

Robbie Williams thinks X Factor stint has improved his marriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams thinks his marriage has improved since he began working with his wife Ayda Field on ‘The X Factor’.
The 44-year-old pop star appears alongside the 39-year-old actress on the British version of the show, and Robbie has claimed that in spite of their on-screen rivalry, he and Ayda have actually benefited from working together.
Robbie told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We were a really tight unit anyway and when people say marriage is really difficult and you have to work at it, we never understand that saying … and long may that continue.
“I think that we are happy anyway but since ‘X Factor’ maybe happier.”
Robbie also heaped praise on his wife, suggesting she feels “more fulfilled” now than ever before.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker – who has kids Teddy, six, Charlie, four, and two-month-old Coco with the actress – said: “Ayda’s ambitious and talented and creative and I dragged her away from her job and made her be my dressing room support.
“Now she has been working and really enjoying herself and because she is more fulfilled I guess that as a unit we are happier.”
Despite enjoying his time on the show, Robbie wants a pay rise if he is to return to ‘The X Factor’ in 2019.
Asked whether he would be interested in returning for another series, he recently said: “We would love to come back. But we need to be treated kindly, so we’ll see. Is that my pitch for a pay rise? Abso-f***ing-lutely.”
Robbie is also hoping that starring on ‘The X Factor’ will lead to his own show.
The pop star shared: “I’ve always dreamed of having my own TV show. I want to do something like the ‘Morecambe and Wise Show’ meets the ‘Dean Martin Show’ meets ‘Noel’s House Party’.
“I’m in with all the TV bigwigs now. And they appear to be happy with me.”
