Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra tie the knot

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are married.
The couple – who got engaged four months ago – tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan in India on Saturday (01.12.18).
The pair married in a Christian ceremony officiated by Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., with the entire wedding party wearing Ralph Lauren.
Nick’s groomsmen included Priyanka’s brother Siddharth and his own three brothers, Joe, Kevin, and Frankie, PEOPLE reports.
Nick, 26, and Priyanka, 36, exchanged Chopard rings at the nuptials.
They will follow up Saturday’s ceremony with a Hindu wedding the following day, to celebrate Priyanka’s heritage.
A source said: “It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that celebrates her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that celebrates Nick’s Christian upbringing. They are doing both.”
Meanwhile, Nick recently revealed he got down on one knee the first time he met Priyanka, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2017.
He recalled: “I put my drink down, get on one knee – this is in front of a bunch of people – and I say, ‘You’re real. Where have you been all my life?’ Like, loud.”
After their third date, the singer told his mother he would marry the ‘Baywatch’ actress, and he went on to pop the question during a vacation to Crete to celebrate Priyanka’s birthday in July this year – but was concerned when his partner didn’t answer him.
He recalled to America’s Vogue magazine: “I got down on one knee, again, and I said, ‘Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?’ No joke -she took about 45 seconds. 45 seconds of silence.”
Priyanka claims she was left speechless, prompting Nick to add: “I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections.”
The former Jonas Brothers star had initially left Priyanka unimpressed when he made his first contact with her via private messaging on Twitter in September 2016.
He wrote: “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet.”
Nick admitted: “She responded day of with a message that said, ‘My team can read this. Why don’t you just text me?’ ”

Robbie Williams demands X Factor pay rise

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams has demanded a pay rise to return to ‘The X Factor’.
The 44-year-old singer and his wife Ayda Field joined the judging panel of the show this year in a rumoured £10 million deal but he is demanding even more money to come back for a new series.
Robbie told The Sun: ‘We would love to come back. But we need to be treated kindly, so we’ll see. Is that my pitch for a pay rise? Abso-f***ing-lutely.”
And he is hoping that starring on ‘The X Factor’ will lead to his own show.
He said: “I’ve always dreamed of having my own TV show. I want to do something like the ‘Morecambe and Wise Show’ meets the ‘Dean Martin Show’ meets ‘Noel’s House Party.
“I’m in with all the TV bigwigs now. And they appear to be happy with me.”
Meanwhile, Robbie will open the ‘X Factor’ with a greatest hits medley.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker and talent show judge doesn’t have any acts competing to win this weekend, but he will kick-start Saturday night’s (01.12.18) live show with a performance flanked by the finalists.
As reported by The Sun newspaper’s TV Bizarre column, Robbie and the 10 contestants will take to the stage to sing a mash-up featuring tracks like ‘Rock DJ’ and ‘Freedom’.
An insider told the publication: “Fans have been gunning for Robbie to perform all series and that’s finally going to happen.
“He’s been a real highlight of this year’s show and it was a real feat to get him as a judge, so the medley is going to be a celebration of that.”
He will also be performing during the finale the following night as he rejoins his Take That bandmates – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – for a highly anticipated reunion.
While Robbie’s wife Ayda – who appeared on the panel alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Tomlinson – also doesn’t have an act in the final, she has loved her experience on the show.
However, she admitted working with her husband hasn’t taught her anything she didn’t already know about her man.
She said: “Simon is even more competitive than you think and is a master of this job.
“Louis has a big heart and even bigger Instagram following. Robbie? I knew everything about him already.”
‘The X Factor’ final airs over Saturday (01.12.18) and Sunday (02.12.18) at 7.30pm on ITV1.

Dr Ranj Singh discusses painful split

OHMYGOSSIP — Dr Ranj Singh says leaving his wife and coming out as gay was the “most difficult time of his life”.
The doctor – who was eliminated from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with his professional dancing partner Janette Manrara last month – opened up about the tough decision to end his marriage after his former father-in-law slammed him in a recent interview.
Dr Ranj, 39, married Sulvinder Samra, 40, in 2005 but ended their marriage in 2011 after realising he is gay.
He wrote on Instagram: “All I would like to say is that the process of realising who you are, and being able to be your truest self, is different for everyone, and often not easy.
“My realisation happened later in life and was heart-breaking for all involved.
“Luckily, I had the support of great friends and family, but not everyone has that which is why I have shared my story before in the hope that it may help others. I have nothing but respect for my ex-wife and her family, whom I was very close to, and wish them all the very best for the future.”
His comments come after Sulvinder’s father admitted he couldn’t bear to see the star on TV.
He told MailOnline: “A lot of years have passed but whenever I see him on television I either turn it off, switch channels or just walk out of the room. He still brings back a lot of painful memories for me.
“The marriage and why they divorced had a devastating impact on us all. We never expected anything like this would happen and if I’m being honest, it’s something that is still a little difficult for me. I have obviously accepted it but it’s still hard.
“Your daughter marrying a doctor is a dream for most Asian parents. It was a fantastic wedding and we thought he was the perfect match for her.
“We knew they were having some problems about two years into the marriage but didn’t really know the full extent of what was going on. When I discovered that it was because of his sexuality, I just couldn’t get my head around it. Perhaps I’m just too old to understand these things.”

Tessa Thompson wasn’t making sexuality revelation

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson doesn’t think of herself as bisexual.
The ‘Creed II’ actress admitted earlier this year she had dated both men and women but she insisted it wasn’t the major revelation it was perceived to be, though she’s thankful her revelation has helped other people open up about their own sexuality.
She told the i newspaper: “The thing for me is, I was just speaking candidly. Some people categorised it as coming out or something. And I have never been in, so I don’t know what that means.
“There were a lot of people that said, ‘Oh she’s bisexual’. I never said that word, because I don’t think in those binaries.
“I feel like that’s important to say, just for me, because that’s not the way that I specifically identify – but I have had a lot of people say, ‘That’s my experience and you really set me free. You helped me have a conversation with my family.’ And that I’m so happy for.
“I think it’s hugely important, and that’s why I felt it was important to be candid in that way, because I have been so lucky to have a family where you can be whatever you want to be. So many people don’t have that, don’t have a support system, and are really riddled with so much shame. They can’t really love in the way they wanna love, be who they wanna be, and so it’s important, I think, to say that it’s OK.”
The 35-year-old actress believes there is a “palpable difference” on movie sets since the emergence of the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements.
She said: “The thing that’s been really great about Time’s Up, in terms of looking at the industry, and not just addressing gross abuse of power, is acknowledging that there’s just an imbalance of power. We look at workplaces and we go, ‘How do we make them more safe? For all people, but specifically for women?’ We just have more women in the workplace, and women in positions of power. So I do feel like there’s been a seismic shift, which I’m proud of.”

Ne-Yo praises Drake for using co-writers

OHMYGOSSIP — Ne-Yo has praised Drake for using co-writers.
The 39-year-old singer/songwriter thinks it is really clever of Drake to have assembled a “quality” writing team around him and he is impressed that Drake doesn’t let his ego get in the way of a good song.
He explained to Billboard: “Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the last 10, 20 years and he has admittingly said that he co-writes. He said it. Now mind you, it’s not taking anything away from Drake as a writer ’cause at this point we know, dude is amazing. But, on the other side of it, he’s smart. That’s not only going at it from an artist standpoint but a businessman standpoint. OVO is a team and he’s like, “We’re going to get in this studio and we’re gonna do what’s right for the team.” Meaning, if my man over here has a dope idea, alright, let’s talk that angle. If my man over here has dope angle, let’s talk that angle, plus my idea” or whatever the case may be, it’s a collaborative effort. And there’s nothing wrong with that as long as the end result is quality.”
And Ne-Yo would love to collaborate with the Canadian rapper.
He said: “I’m really impressed by the cleverness of Drake. I love what it is that he does. He doesn’t say typical sh*t, at least not in every song. He figured out how to make it just intelligent enough and yet just simple enough to where everybody understands. That takes a skill-set. That’s not easy to do. So I would love to do something with him.”

Claire Richards won’t deny herself treats

OHMYGOSSIP — Claire Richards won’t “deny” herself her favourite treats.
The Steps singer – who has seen her weight fluctuate over the years” tries to eat a “sensible” diet but never deprives herself if she craves something calorific.
She said: “I’ve yo-yed between a size 20 and a 10 over the years but I’ve recently lost six stone and have kept it off through a sensible diet.
“That being said, life is too short to deny yourself all the time.”
However, the 41-year-old singer – who has children Charlie, 11, and Daisy, eight, with husband Reece HIll – admits she can be “easily led” and it doesn’t take her long to lose any resolve and indulge in her favourite things.
She wrote in a guest column for Closer magazine: “It’s never easy when you’re out for dinner with friends, trying to pick a healthy choice, and someone goes for the naughty option – it makes you want to indulge too…
“Some people are always going to choose the healthy option because they are very disciplined, and others, like me, are easily led and don’t need an excuse to eat.
“There may be an element that you don’t want to look too uptight in front of your friends, but really, I think it’s a convenient excuse and nothing to do with friends at all.
“You can’t blame them if you want that unhealthy meal. Even if my friend is ordering a salad, I’ll be like, ‘Well, I’m having a burger.’ ”
And it isn’t just food that Claire can’t resist.
She added: “I’m the same with alcohol. I’ll spend the whole day saying, ‘I’m not drinking tonight’ and then as soon as someone offers me a glass of Prosecco, I indulge.”

“When you’re Ariana Grande, you can get just about anybody … I actually don’t know [how she reached out to get Jenner in the video].”
Hannah and Ariana, 25, spoke about potential cameos prior to the shoot, and the brunette beauty was eager to have Kris on board.
The director explained to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We were talking about cameos. We were like, ‘Oh my god, we have to get Kris Jenner!’ She was the one really steering that.”
Hannah also hailed Kris’ on-set performance, describing the 63-year-old reality TV star as a true “pro”.

Lady Gaga hits back after leaked texts

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga has insisted she loves Katy Perry after old texts emerged of her slamming the star.
In an exchange with Kesha in 2016, Gaga and Kesha called Katy “mean” for not reporting producer Dr Luke for allegedly raping her, an allegation both Katy and Dr Luke deny.
Gaga tweeted: “.@katyperry & I have grown up in the industry together. We’ve gone through both celebrations & differences w/ each other. These are old texts. We’ve matured, gotten over the past, love each other & share deep respect. Katy is my friend and is truly a kind soul. End of story.”
Katy replied to the star, saying: “Love you too friend. Onward and upward.”
And Gaga’s spokesperson released a statement, saying: “These text messages paint a picture of one friend trying to help another through an extraordinary difficult time. They are several years old and in no way reflect Lady Gaga’s relationship with Katy Perry. These are private texts that — along with personal information from other high-profile individuals — have been publicly filed to generate media attention for this case.”
During the exchange with Gaga in 2016, Kesha wrote: “I’m really upset with Katy Perry. She could bring the whole thing to a head, but she won’t. She was raped by the same man.”
Gaga replied: “U are really strong standing up to him, she’s not as strong as u yet. Have u talked to her?”
Kesha wrote to Gaga: “Your right. I need to find sympathy and empathy for her. she’s so mean. it’s hard.”
And Gaga said: “Do u want me to see if I can talk to her? I know she’s mean.”
The leaked texts come after Katy admitted to being annoyed that she was ever dragged into the situation, after Kesha and Lady Gaga that she’d been raped by the producer.
Katy reportedly said: “I want to stay out of it because I know them both and I empathise with both of them and obviously it’s a horrible situation for both of them.
“And the only two people that know what really went on are those two people.”
It has also been claimed that Katy reportedly feared her career would be damaged by Kesha fans if she publicly supported or continued working with Dr Luke.
The 34-year-old pop star decided to stop working with the record producer after he was accused by Kesha of sexually assaulting her and, according to court documents obtained by The Blast, Katy didn’t want to be the “one woman that is against women”.
The American singer gave a deposition in July 2017, when she was questioned by Dr Luke’s attorneys.
Katy explained that she was aware at the time that some celebrities were publicly supporting Kesha after she filed her suit against Luke, who has denied the allegations.
Katy reportedly explained that she felt pressured to distance herself from the producer and to voice her support for Kesha.
She said: “I felt pressured, but I also knew both of them and a lot of people did not. So it was easy for them to be disattached and support an idea rather than an actual instance.”
Katy claimed that the pressure was particularly intense from Kesha’s fans, a large number of whom contacted her via Twitter.
She explained: “People were generally very angry at me for not saying anything.”

Katherine Jenkins doesn’t speak between her performances

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Jenkins doesn’t speak to anyone between her performances.
The 38-year-old soprano has revealed she’s made a concerted effort to avoid talking to people between her performances because she fears it’ll damage her voice.
She shared: “On tour, I don’t speak between performances: from coming off stage to the next sound check. It’s a discipline.
“To be in the best vocal state, you must not overwork your voice. I let everybody know: I would hate to appear rude.”
Despite this, Katherine – who has kids Aaliyah, three, and Xander, who was born in April – no longer feels anxious before she takes to the stage.
The blonde beauty said experience has helped to erase the nerves she used to feel before performing.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I no longer get nervous performing. When I was younger, I would overthink things, and never performed as well as in rehearsal.
“Now it’s second nature to get out there and have a good time, sharing the occasion with the audience. With young children, I do less international touring; I can go back when Aaliyah, who is three, and Xander are older.”
Katherine has been married to artist and film director Andrew Levitas since 2014, and she’s admitted to being “in awe” of his parenting skills.
She said, too, that she appreciates having such a strong support network of family and friends around her.
Katherine explained: “Kids are the best thing that ever happened to us. I’m in awe of my husband for how great a father he is. We’re both artists, so love painting, dressing up, or putting on a show with the kids.
“My sister Laura lives in London with her two children, so my mother Susan can see all the grandchildren at once.
“My mother-in-law comes over from New York twice a year, and Andrew’s grandmother is 93. My nana was an important influence on me, so it’s great the children have these wise people in their lives.”

Sir Cliff Richard’s fears after false allegations

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Cliff Richard is terrified of being photographed around youngsters after false sex abuse claims were made against him.
The 78-year-old singer spent two years being investigated but was never charged after being accused of historic sexual abuse in 2014 and admitted that he now tries to avoid being photographed with children in case he is called a paedophile.
Speaking during the filming of ITV’s ‘Sir Cliff Richard, 60 Years in Public and Private’, he said: “They have given me something I can never ever be free of. Ever!
“I do not have any hint of that kind of activity in my background — none at all. If I was a paedophile there’s no way I could hide it for 60 years. It’s impossible.”
Speaking about his ordeal, he added: “I thought I was going to die, supposing I had a heart attack. I had shingles and I didn’t sleep more than an average of two hours a night.”
Cliff’s close friend Gloria Hunniford said he told her: “I will never put my arms around young people again when I’m having photographs taken.”
Cliff has previously insisted he would never have got through the last four years without his Christian faith.
He said: He said of his religion: “I can only say it’s the major thing that helped me get through the past four years.
“Having no faith would have left me hopelessly lost and in the dark.
“My good friends were always there for me and I couldn’t have done without them either.
“But in the end, when you say good night and you close your eyes, there’s nobody else but you. But for me there was someone.
“I never felt neglected or ignored by God. And that was a major factor. I believe it’s God’s presence that makes you see how committed other people are to you.
“With what I went through, it would have been easy to become self-centred.
“But I believed that the goodness that Jesus talked about let me see that my friends and family – and fans – were very concerned about me. There were really moments when I could not stop weeping and thinking, my God, I will get through this.”
‘Sir Cliff Richard, 60 years In Public and Private’ will air on ITV on December 10.

John Barrowman not surprised by Noel Edmonds’ exit

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barrowman is not surprised Noel Edmonds was the first contestant to be voted off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 69-year-old TV legend – who was the last celebrity to enter the Australian jungle – lost out in the public vote on Friday (30.11.18) and was sent packing and co-star John Barrowman believes his late arrival is the reason why.
He told his fellow campmates: “Because he was the last one in, and they think the rest are deserving to stay longer. I don’t mean this in a bad sense, the original team and he was the one brought in, so they thought he should be first to go.”
While Noel said he was equally “disappointed and relieved” to be leaving the jungle, his former campmate Harry Redknapp believes his pal would have been shocked at losing the public vote.
He said: “Noel will be absolutely shocked by that. Massively shocked. I spoke to him last night.”
The veteran broadcaster – who previously served as the Emperor of the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ camp – found himself in the bottom two of the public vote against actress Rita Simons, but he ultimately failed to secure the support he needed to remain in the jungle.
Despite his early exit from the programme, Noel said that the ITV show represented one of the highlights of his career.
Speaking to his fellow campmates the night before his exit, Noel said: “It wasn’t easy coming in late so thank you for making it easy as you can.
“Earlier today I was reflecting on how fortunate I am in my life and thinking about true experiences and I wasn’t expecting this to get into the top ten of all time.”
Following his exit, Noel revealed he’s backing Fleur East to ultimately win the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ crown, describing the pop star as “an astonishing” woman.
Noel is reported to have been paid £600,000 by ITV for his jungle adventure.

Emily Blunt conquered fears during Mary Poppins

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt conquered her fears while filming ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.
The 35-year-old actress used to have a huge fear of singing and flying but revealed she managed to overcome both of those for her performance in the upcoming movie.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “I was particularly challenged by two aspects of the movie, which were the singing and the flying. I’m terrified of both singing and heights. I had to sing while suspended from a great height in this movie. Those days were quite traumatic but I survived and in the end, I felt quite proud. It was a cathartic experience.”
Emily has previously revealed that acting helped her overcome her childhood stutter.
The star – who has Hazel, four, and Violet, two, with her husband John Krasinski – had a speech impediment when she was growing up and she used to focus on “watching and listening” to people because she “couldn’t speak fluently”.
She said: “Because I couldn’t speak fluently, I watched and listened. I’d be on the Tube, and I’d wonder about people and invent back stories for everyone. There’s always been a natural desire to walk in the shoes of others. It started quite young, because it was the only tool I had to speak properly. I was that kid, upstairs in my room, trying out stuff in the mirror. But I’d never tell anyone about it. It was always very private.”
Meanwhile, filmmaker Rob Marshall revealed he took offering the role to Emily as seriously as a marriage proposal.
He said: I guess it was. I didn’t mean it to be. I did think it was a big deal to ask her to play this role so I wanted to set it up in a sort of ceremonious way.
“When I said, you know, it’s Mary Poppins, the character and the film, there was definitely silence. But then I heard her inhale with excitement. I knew that, of course, we all had trepidations and fear about how you follow that brilliant first film, but I know how fearless she is and I knew she would say yes.
“By the end of the phone call it was a big yes.”

Andy Serkis defends Scarlett Johansson

OHMYGOSSIP — Andy Serkis has defended Scarlett Johansson over the ‘Rub & Tug’ controversy.
There was an outcry earlier this year when the star was cast as a transgender man in drama movie ‘Rub & Tug’, leading to Scarlett pulling out of the movie but Serkis believes actors should be able to play any role they wish.
He told Variety: “I absolutely disagree. I really, vehemently disagree.
“Actors should be able to play anything, and that’s why I love performance capture technology. What should be the point is that whatever colour your skin is, whatever shape you are, whatever height you are, whatever your makeup is as an actor, you should have the ability to play anything.”
Andy – who admitted he had planned to go back to being a “conventional actor” after portraying Gollum through motion capture in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ franchise – said he wants equal opportunities in the movie industry but he believes in artistic freedom.
Speaking about when Peter Jackson asked him to play King Kong, he explained: “I had thought ‘Ok, I’ll be going back into my career as a conventional actor.’ But then Peter Jackson asked me to play King Kong, and that was a real epiphany moment — sort of going, ‘That, for me, is the end of typecasting.’ Of course, equal representation and opportunity is what [the conversation] should be about, but we’re in the art of the imagination.”
Meanwhile, Andy has directed ‘Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle’, a retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’ and he believes it is “darker and emotionally more grounded” than the original text.
He said: “This version of the story hadn’t been told. People say it’s darker, but it’s emotionally more grounded. It’s complex. I grew up loving the animated original, it’s a beautiful piece of work, but it didn’t have that complex central journey. I always felt that Mowgli was left out of the story, and you enjoyed the antics and buffoonery and the songs and the star turns of the animals.”

Victoria Beckham had party hangover

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham had a “sore head” after her London Fashion Week party.
The former Spice Girls singer celebrated a decade of her eponymous label this year and she threw herself into celebrating the milestone at a Vogue bash in September.
She said: “I’m been so lucky that I’ve been to lots of amazing parties over the years.
“But recently, I celebrated 10 years of my brand with a great party with British Vogue and that felt really special.
“It was just after my S/S’19 catwalk show, during London Fashion Week and I was surrounded by friends and family.
“I had a very sore head the next morning.”
While the 44-year-old designer – who has children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and seven-year-old Harper with husband David Beckham – loves a good party, she also really enjoys the hours before, when she prepares for the evening ahead.
Asked her secret to getting ready for a big night, she told Grazia magazine: “Leave enough time! There’s nothing worse than rushing around just before you have to leave.
“Enjoy it – sometimes the best part of going out is the getting ready.
“I find a glass of wine actually helps the preparation process.
“As for when I get home – shoes off. Immediately. Especially if I’ve been dancing.”
Victoria recently admitted she has big plans for the future of her fashion empire.
She said: “I always say dream big. There are a lot of things I wanted to do with the brand, more categories and really put my foot on the gas. I needed to bring people in to help me to do that, people who had done this before.”

Megan Barton Hanson wants to teach sex education

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton Hanson wants to become a sex education teacher.
The ‘Love Island’ contestant previously worked as a stripper and a webcam girl before entering the infamous villa – where she enjoyed romances with Eyal Booker, and current boyfriend Wes Nelson – this summer, and has said her sexual history puts her in good stead to answer questions about sex that students might be too “embarrassed or shy” to ask their usual teachers.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Sex education is really important and I want to go back to school to teach kids and answer questions they might be too embarrassed or shy to ask their teachers.
“Schools have a responsibility, as do parents, to teach their kids. I think if it’s awkward and weird coming from a much older teacher it doesn’t work or sink in. Me teaching sex education in schools would be brilliant.”
Her comments come after she revealed she doesn’t have any regrets about her past, and doesn’t understand the stigma attached to stripping.
She said: “I did it for a year – I got in, I got out, I earned my money, I didn’t hurt anyone. I don’t see why it’s so negative. Men enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, couples came in … everyone is happy!”
As well as being open about her sex life, Megan also openly defended her decision to spend around £25,000 on cosmetic surgery, which included the cost of breast enlargement surgery, jaw surgery and a bum lift.
The blonde beauty insisted she’d earned the money and was entitled to spend it how she wished.
She said: “I worked so hard to get all the money I could and I feel like I can spend it any way I want.”
Megan admitted the surgery has helped her to battle the self-confidence issues she experienced during her teenage years.
She explained: “If it makes me feel better I don’t know why that’s seen as a negative thing?
“I was still beautiful in my own way back then, I’ve just changed a few things. I was comfortable then and I’m comfortable now.”
