Cardi B shares first picture of daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has shared the first picture of her daughter Kulture Kiari.
The 26-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday (05.12.18) to share the very first snap of her four-month-old daughter with the world, just 18 hours after she uploaded a video to the site announcing she and Kulture’s father Offset – whom she married in secret in 2017 – have decided to split.
Cardi simply captioned the picture: “My heart”
The ‘Bartier Cardi’ hitmaker posted on Instagram earlier on Wednesday to reveal she and the Migos rapper had ended their relationship, after they “grew out of love” with one another.
She said in the video: “There you go … peace and love”, and in the clip she said: “So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now.
“We are really good friends and we are really good business partners– you know he’s always somebody that I run to to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time.
“It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love but we are not together anymore.”
But the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker insisted she will always have “a lot of love” for the 26-year-old star.
She added: “I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.”
Offset hasn’t made a statement on the shock split yet, but he did make a brief response to Cardi’s videos.
He simply posted: “Y’all won.”
Many fans have speculated the video may be a prank as it was only a few days ago that Cardi shared photos of the couple kissing at a basketball game, but neither of the pair have commented on the speculation.

Meghan Trainor: Carson Daly helped me overcome anxiety

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Trainor credits Carson Daly with helping her overcome her anxiety.
The 24-year-old singer struggled to talk about her mental health until the television host, 45, opened up about his own battle with generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) in an episode of the ‘Today’ show in March this year, and she now credits Carson with “saving” her.
Speaking to Euphoria magazine, the ‘No’ hitmaker said: “I couldn’t explain it to my own parents – like, they didn’t understand when I was like ‘My head’s on fire, my back feels like someone has a flame to it’ or ‘I have nausea and I don’t know why’ and it was just because my adrenals were all messed up. Hearing Carson Daly explain exactly how I felt was better than a doctor; it was like ‘Oh, a regular human being who is in the industry feels like I do’ and I told him ‘You don’t know how much that saved me.'”
Earlier this year, the ‘Voice’ host – who has children Jackson, nine, Etta, six, and London, four, with his wife Siri Pinter – revealed he has battled with anxiety since he was a young child as he always used to “worry”, and has admitted his panic attacks can sometimes be so bad he “feels like [he’s] dying”.
He said: “I was a worrywart kid. I was always worrying. My father died when I was five. I had an ulcer when I was in high school. I’ve been nervous my whole life.
“At times I feel like there’s a saber-tooth tiger right here and it’s going to kill me, attack me and bite my head off. I’m scared as if that’s really happening. You feel like you’re dying.”
Carson now sees a therapist to help him deal with his condition, and says he’s been greatly helped by “muscle retention relaxation”.
He added: “I opted for a cognitive therapist, somebody who teaches you about anxiety, the model of it, and offers you tools on how to kind of work through it. Muscle retention relaxation really helps me.”

Nicole Kidman imposes ban on handheld electronic devices at home

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman has banned handheld electronic devices from her house.
The Academy Award-winning actress – who lives in Tennessee with her husband Keith Urban and their kids Sunday, ten, and Faith, seven – has revealed she’s made a conscious effort to ensure that her children are not obsessed with the internet and television.
Nicole shared: “We have periods at home where we don’t turn on the TV and try to have a detox from it all.
“I can recommend that to anyone. Like everyone, I worry about all the anger that seems to be around. What do you do? In our case, we have some land and some animals.
“I left home yesterday and my children were up in the tree house, with eight friends over. We have a no-devices house. Their friends can’t bring devices over. The general rule is: play, hard core and outside.”
Nicole, 51, grew up in a Catholic family and she admits that attending church remains a big part of her life to this day.
She told the Observer newspaper: “We go to Catholic church, or sometimes we will go to a gospel church for the music. That singing and joy is so wonderful.”
However, Nicole explained that when she was a teenager, her father declared he was an atheist.
Speaking about her dad Antony, she recalled: “He was a very gentle man, with a really strong social conscience. He told me he would still live by the Ten Commandments, but he was an atheist. And I said: ‘No, I want you to believe in God!’
“It was difficult for a child. I still go church. I love the ritual. But that’s me and my choice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande doubts whether “true love” really exists.
The 25-year-old pop star – whose latest hit, ‘Thank U, Next’, explores some of her past relationships – has revealed she’s not currently looking for another boyfriend following her split from comedian Pete Davidson and she isn’t sure whether true love exists, either.
In a now-deleted tweet, Ariana wrote: “actually… i don’t want no ‘next’ true love doesn’t exist. hope you’re having a great day! (sic)”
The brunette beauty – who has also dated the likes of Mac Miller, who died from an accidental drug overdose in September, and rapper Big Sean – subsequently performed a U-turn on her earlier statement.
She said on the micro-blogging platform: “true love might exist i was just hungry.
“but still, f**k that (sic)”
Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon recently thanked Ariana for paying homage to ‘Legally Blonde’ in her new music video.
The award-winning actress took to her Twitter account to show her appreciation for Ariana, whose new video for ‘Thank U, Next’ sees the chart-topping pop star imitate the character of Elle Woods from the hit movie series.
Alongside an image of herself and Ariana dressed as Elle, Reese wrote on the platform: “Thank u, next [clapping emoji] [love heart emoji] @ArianaGrande #ElleWoodsForever (sic)”
Ariana subsequently reached out to Reese on Twitter, admitting she tried to distinguish her look from that of the movie.
And she also thanked Reese for her kind words.
Ariana wrote: “omg we tried to put our own twist on it so legal wouldn’t come for us but THANK U. this is the biggest honor. love u more than words. [love heart emoji] (sic)”

Kelly Clarkson ‘accuses Dr Luke of lying’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson has reportedly accused Dr Luke of lying in a bid to take sole credit for writing songs that she also worked on.
The American pop star has made the accusation in the testimony she gave in Kesha’s legal battle with Dr Luke, according to the The Blast, which reports Kelly believes the record producer lied to Grammy Award-winning music executive Clive Davis.
Recalling a meeting she had about her songwriting exploits, Kelly reportedly said in June 2017: “I was told by my label executive … it was a really rough meeting, Clive Davis, where first of all, he told me I was a s****y writer and that I shouldn’t – I should just shut up and listen to the producers.
“And then he said, and I said or he said something about hits. ‘You should just take the hits and just sing them,’ or something to that extent.
“And I said, ‘Well, I’m a writer on these. I mean, I wrote on ‘Miss Independent’. I wrote on like ‘Hazel Eyes’. I wrote ‘Because Of You’ myself. Like I wrote, like I’m like…’ and then he proceeded to say that I did not.
“Well, he told me I was lying. That Dr Luke told him that he had written ‘Hazel Eyes.’ And I was like, I’m pretty sure I went through a real s****y relationship.”
Kelly – who has a long-running feud with Clive – reportedly admitted to being hurt by the accusation.
She said: “It’s hurtful whenever you try so hard and you have been accomplished in a certain area. And then somebody just lies about their part in a song.
“And I said, ‘Well, we definitely did collaborate’. But I can pull out the lyrics from a notebook piece of paper that I still have … I wasn’t there when Dr Luke apparently had a conversation with Clive … That really frankly p****d me off.”

Saoirse Ronan hails ‘exceptional’ Reese Witherspoon

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan thinks Reese Witherspoon has done an “exceptional” job with ‘Big Little Lies’.
The 24-year-old actress has heaped praise on the Hollywood star for her producing role with the hit HBO series – which tells the story of three emotionally troubled women – and Saoirse now hopes that other studios will feel inspired to explore similar stories.
She told Psychologies magazine: “Let’s hope the industry will reflect the spirit of change, and we’ll see more projects like ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘Lady Bird’, where women are taking a lead role in developing projects, as well as telling stories from women’s point of view and with interesting female characters.
“What Reese Witherspoon did was exceptional. She put together a group of incredible actresses she admires, giving each of them, even in seemingly minor roles, the same importance.”
Saoirse also admitted to feeling particularly inspired by another woman in her life.
She shared: “[My mother and I] are more like best friends.
“She’s always been a role model for me and I have so much respect for her sense of dignity and integrity. I’ve tried to take after her and bring that same kind of perspective to the way I live.”
Earlier this year, Saoirse admitted that fame can be distracting.
The acclaimed actress revealed she was determined to remain “level-headed” in spite of her success.
She shared: “I can see how it can be distracting, especially when you do get a bit more recognisable, and maybe you’re sort of in the public eye a little bit more and stuff.
“But if you’re aware of why it is you’re doing this – it should be because you love it – it keeps you quite level-headed.”

Michael B. Jordan hails the ‘realness’ of Adonis Creed

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael B. Jordan thinks film fans love the “realness” of his character in ‘Creed II’.
The 31-year-old actor has reprised the role of Adonis Creed in the Rocky spin-off movie, and Michael has claimed that moviegoers feel a real empathy with his on-screen character.
He told BW magazine: “I think a lot of people just got in touch with the realness of Creed. The character they loved.”
The Hollywood actor – who appears alongside Tessa Thompson, who plays his love interest, in the new movie – thinks the success of the film franchise is based on its emotional relationships.
Michael – whose character is the son of Rocky’s rival-turned-friend Apollo Creed – reflected: “The relationships between Adonis and Rocky, Adonis and Bianca and Adonis and himself. A lot of the movie was him battling himself.”
Michael revealed that with the new film, he was eager to expose the complexities of his own character.
He shared: “I wanted to explore everything that Adonis stands for and built so far.”
Meanwhile, Michael recently revealed he thinks an Oscar win for ‘Black Panther’ would be “amazing icing on the cake”.
The American star – who plays the main villain Killmonger in the Marvel movie – hailed the Ryan Coogler-directed hit for breaking through “glass ceilings”.
He said: “The movie has done such a great job, broke through so many glass ceilings, and made such an impact culturally and around the world.
“If the Academy chooses to recognise that project for all of those reasons that’s amazing icing on the cake, but I think what the movie has done so far is truly incredible and a win all its own.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyra Banks has hit out at sexism in the workplace.
The 44-year-old model – who has a two-year-old son called York with photographer Erik Asla – has slammed the double standards she sees in her daily life, and she’s incorporated her frustrations into her latest movie ‘Life-Size 2’, the sequel to 2000’s ‘Life-Size’.
Tyra explained: “When a mother is a very busy mom, people kind of vilify that, but if a dad is busy it’s like, oh, he’s just doing what a dad is supposed to do.”
Tyra described the storyline in the movie as an example of “backdoor female empowerment”.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she shared: “[Grace] has a scene with her [mother] and she’s like, ‘Mommy, you were busy.’
“And the mom was like, ‘I was building a frickin’ empire. Where was your daddy? I don’t see you complaining about him not being around.’ So it’s a backdoor female empowerment.”
The world-famous model also revealed she’s tried to incorporate her own experiences in the business world into the fantasy-comedy movie.
Tyra said: “[Grace] inherits this CEO title from her mother who’s incarcerated. She’s the youngest CEO of a publicly traded company [in the film].
“[Eve] comes to her life and says, ‘Yeah, you’re mother’s in jail, yeah, things aren’t going great, maybe you didn’t want to be the CEO, but claim your name, fight those fights, you’re going to be majestical in the power that you have.'”
Earlier this year, Tyra revealed that her son wants to become a “big brother” one day.
She said: “God, my mom wants more grandbabies.
“My son is rolling and running around and she’s like, ‘You see? He needs a friend. He’s saying that these stuffed animals are his babies and he’s calling himself a big brother.’
“He calls himself a big brother. I’m like there’s nobody underneath you – what does that mean ‘big brother’?”

Joan Collins suggests ‘little fly’ might be the reincarnation of her sister

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Joan Collins thinks a “little fly” that often visits her may be the reincarnation of her late sister Jackie Collins.
The 85-year-old actress has admitted that while she’s still undecided about whether or not she truly believes in the concept of reincarnation, she often wonders whether the fly is her sister, who died of breast cancer in 2015.
She confessed: “Do you believe that little flies or butterflies or something can be old souls, people that you knew? I have this little fly that comes near me all the time. It’s really strange.”
Asked who she thinks the fly might be, Joan told the Observer newspaper: “I think it might be my sister. I know that sounds weird, and I don’t know whether I believe in the afterlife or not.
“My opinion is still out to lunch about that, but it is weird that wherever I go, at least two or three times a week – wherever I am, France, London, here – this little fly comes. Now maybe it’s because the fruit’s rotting in the kitchen!
“I don’t know. But anyway…”
Although Joan and Jackie had a tense relationship at times, they were also very close for “many years”.
In fact, Joan claims her sister “worshipped” her in a lot of ways.
She shared: “You know, like sisters, we all have our problems, which the press loved to exacerbate, or exaggerate.
“But I mean, she was the closest person to me for many years and with me being the older sister she kind of worshipped me in a way.”
Jackie kept her cancer diagnosis secret from almost all of her friends and family, and Joan acknowledges that her sister’s secretiveness was because she wanted to avoid “pity”.
She explained: “Thank God she didn’t tell me. I mean, I wish she had. But she didn’t want pity, and that’s what happens.”

The 23-year-old model’s relationship with the 22-year-old basketball star appears to have become more serious over recent weeks, with Kendall now becoming a frequent guest at Ben’s games.
The brunette beauty was spotted laughing and joking with Ben’s mother Julie Simmons as they both supported the Australian star and his Philadelphia 76ers team.
The pair appeared happy and relaxed together as Ben helped his team to a 123-98 victory against the Washington Wizards.
Despite remaining tight-lipped about their burgeoning romance, Kendall’s increased presence at 76ers games is being seen as a sign that things are heating up between the celebrity duo.
However, an insider recently insisted that Kendall and Ben don’t want to put any “stress or pressure” on their relationship.
The high-profile pair are eager to ensure they don’t take things too fast.
A source explained: “Kendall and Ben have been making more of an effort in their relationship recently, and have been seeing each other regularly for the last month now.
“They both are very busy with their careers, but have always been in touch.”
Kendall and Ben were rumoured to have ended their romance earlier this year.
But it’s since been claimed that they are instead simply keen to make sure they don’t rush things or become too intense.
The insider explained: “They never had a falling out, it was just always hard for Kendall because of her work schedule.
“They reconnected when Ben was in town recently and have been seeing each other since.

Kat Von D gives birth to baby boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Kat Von D has given birth to her first child.
The 36-year-old tattoo artist and her husband Leafar Seyer – whose real name is Rafael Reyes – have welcomed their baby boy Leafar Von D Reyes into the world, and made the announcement with a sweet father and son photo.
Writing on Instagram, former ‘LA Ink’ star Kat revealed: “Meet our beautiful baby boy, Leafar Von D Reyes.
“Thank you to all our beloved friends+family, fans+followers for you patience in us announcing his long awaited arrival!
“To be honest, my husband @prayers and I want to take the net 40 days (the 4th trimester) to focus on the baby and our amazing relationship transitioning into amazing parenthood – so, please excuse us if we’re not on here as much for a little while.
“Just know we love you all and thank you for all the words of love+support!”
In May, the loved up couple revealed they were expecting their first child.
Kat’s husband said at the time: “When I thought I had it all. Life gifts me with the greatest of joys ! We are pregnant and having a baby boy. I love you @thekatvond and Im ready to be a father to our son Leafar. Thank you my love our family comes first !!! (sic)”
The happy news comes just over two months after Kat and the Prayers singer tied the knot, which the tattoo artist revealed in another social media post.
She wrote at the time: “Today, I married my soul’s mate, my mind’s twin, my best friend: @prayers Juntos en vida y en muerte (sic)”
Leafar, 42, shared the same picture on his Instagram page and admitted Kat was the girl of his “dreams”.
He wrote in the caption: “Today I married the girl of my dreams [ En Vida Y En Muerte ] (sic)”
For Kat – whose full name is Katherine von Drachenberg – the news also comes after she has been fairly unlucky in love in the past.
The star married fellow tattooist Oliver Peck in 2003 but they split in August 2007 and she went on to date Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx a year later.
She got engaged to Jesse James in January 2011 following his failed five-year marriage to Sandra Bullock, but by September that year they had split.
Kat later got engaged to Deadmau5 in December 2012 but they confirmed their split in June 2013.

Kim Kardashian West would make longer Paris visit

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West would “feel safe and comfortable” having a longer stay in Paris.
The reality TV star returned to the French capital – the first time she’d been back since her hotel robbery at gunpoint in 2006 – earlier this year to support her husband Kanye West at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2019 menswear fashion show, and it helped her overcome her fears.
Speaking on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, she reflected: “I don’t think I’ll ever really forget my experiences in Paris — the good or the bad — and I think that’s okay.
“It all has made me who I am. Thinking about it, I think I could go back and spend more time and feel safe and comfortable.”
Kim, 37, decided to make the difficult return after her horrific ordeal two years ago following a conversation with her man.
The 41-year-old rapper was flying to the City of Love in June to support his longtime friend Virgil Abloh, who is Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Artistic Director.
He said: “I don’t want to put any pressure on you to go to Paris. I know that was really hard the last time you were in Paris. “So I think just for the culture, for Kim K. to show up to the first black designer at [a] Louis Vuitton show who was the best man at my wedding, just the world would just love to see you there.”
While Kim admitted on Sunday’s episode (02.12.18) that being in Paris brought back memories of the robbery, she was “so glad” to have done it.
She added: “It was so good. Like, honestly, I’m so glad we went. Like [Kanye] had to be there…
“For a second, I was like, I was so stressed out over my security, just the movement of everyone. But other that, it was fine. I didn’t really have a lot of anxiety.”

Charles Venn exits Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Charles Venn and his professional partner Karen Clifton have been eliminated from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 45-year-old actor and Karen, 36, were voted off the BBC show by the ‘Strictly’ judges after they found themselves in the dreaded dance-off against Ashley Roberts and her partner Pasha Kovalev.
Once again, the American pop star was able to wow the judges during the dance-off and they all opted to save Ashley rather than retain Charles for another week.
Explaining his decision, Craig Revel Horwood said: “I truly loved both performances but theirs was the most solid and technically demanding.”
Bruno Tonioli explained that Ashley and Pasha were “stronger, more accomplished, more complicated and more exciting”.
During his emotional exit speech, Charles explained: “I have to pay extreme homage to this woman here, because Karen Clifton turned me into a promising dancer.
“She has been by my side and supported me, she’s been strict, she’s been solid, she’s been caring and loving, sensitive, intuitive, and I’m adamant that without her I wouldn’t have got to this level.”
And Karen was similarly complimentary about her partner on this year’s show.
She said: “Oh Charles, you have been the most humble, the most professional person I’ve ever worked with.
“Thank you for always respecting me as a woman, as a friend and as a teacher. I will never forget this journey that we had together.”

Dalton Harris wins The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Dalton Harris has won ‘The X Factor’.
The 24-year-old singer – who was mentored by Louis Tomlinson – beat off competition from Anthony Russell and Scarlett Lee to claim this year’s ‘X Factor’ crown during tonight’s (02.12.18) live final.
Dalton faced Scarlett in the final two of the competition after it was revealed that Anthony had finished third.
And when Dalton was announced as the winner of this year’s show, he was immediately embraced by Scarlett.
Prior to tonight’s ‘X Factor’ final – which featured a cameo appearance from Simon Cowell’s four-year-old son Eric – Dalton had been consistently showered with praise by the show’s judging panel.
In fact, Robbie Williams has even expressed surprise that Dalton wasn’t a chart-topping pop star already.
Robbie previously said: “‘The X Factor’ is made to find people like Anthony Russell, but for you I’m baffled that you haven’t already got six albums under your belt, or that you’re not sat here on this side judging me and telling me how to be better.”
Meanwhile, Louis previously hailed Dalton as the best singer on this year’s show and perhaps the most talented vocalist in the history of ‘The X Factor’.
He gushed: “Dalton, for me it’s been evident since week one that you were probably the best singer in this competition, if not the best singer ‘The X Factor’ has ever seen.”
Dalton’s ‘X Factor’ win will see him rewarded with a recording contract with Syco Records, Simon’s record label.

Malique Thompson-Dwyer leaves I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

OHMYGOSSIP — Malique Thompson-Dwyer has been voted off ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 20-year-old actor has become the second celebrity to leave the Australian jungle on this year’s series following Noel Edmonds’ earlier exit.
Malique found himself in the bottom two of the public vote alongside ‘Coronation Street’ actress Sair Khan.
But after being informed of his fate by co-hosts Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby, Malique responded in philosophical fashion, admitting he was looking forward to eating a good meal as soon as he leaves the jungle.
The actor said he would miss his fellow campmates, but also confessed that he was struggling to cope with the lack of food.
Malique reserved special praise for Fleur East, likening the pop star to a big sister and tipping her to eventually claim the ‘I’m a Celebrity’ crown.
Earlier in the show, Fleur claimed ten stars for the camp in the latest Bushtucker Trial.
The 31-year-old singer excelled during the stinky Gore Seasons Pizza Trial, which required her to sit on a giant pizza base while a host of unpleasant ingredients were poured all over her.
Then, Fleur had to wack a pinata with a club to claim the stars.
At one stage during the Trial, Fleur was spotted eating some rotten cheese.

Tessa Thompson bemoans ‘stereotypical girlfriend roles’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson thinks it’s “important” she doesn’t play the stereotypical girlfriend in ‘Creed II’.
The 35-year-old actress – who stars as Bianca Taylor in the money-spinning movie franchise – has revealed she was determined to see her character “buck convention”.
Tessa – whose plays Adonis Creed’s on-screen love interest – said: “It was important to me, from the first film, Ryan Coogler (writer and director of the first ‘Creed’ movie) and I had so many conversations about that, and we really wanted to try to buck convention in that space.”
Tessa admitted to finding the typical portrayal of female love interests to be “obnoxious”.
She told JOE: “So often women are tasked with – not just in boxing movies, but just in movies in general – I won’t say which, but I was watching a film last night on the plane and I was just like … man, women! We just show up in movies to function to support the male character in ways. Like, we die for them, we live for them, it’s just obnoxious actually!
“We wanted to do something different with [Bianca], so we tried to do that.”
Meanwhile, Tessa recently claimed that it’s easy to overlook the “scope” of ‘Creed II’.
The Hollywood star conceded it was difficult to track the scale of the movie during the filming process.
She shared: “It’s funny because for us, we’re making these films called ‘Creed I’ and ‘Creed II’, it’s easy to forget somehow that we’re making, essentially, ‘Rocky’ films. Films that exist inside of the ‘Rocky’ universe.
“And then there’ll be moments on set, almost always when we’re shooting a boxing scene, where we’ll have like a thousand extras and that’s the time where the scope hits you.”
