Jennifer Aniston ‘burst into tears’ after recording song for Dumplin’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston “burst into tears” after recording a song for ‘Dumplin” at the request of Dolly Parton.
The 49-year-old actress and her co-star Danielle Macdonald were asked by the country star to record the track ‘Push and Pull’ for the new musical-comedy film, and Jennifer has admitted that Dolly’s presence proved to be overwhelming.
She recalled: “[I was so nervous] but I sang through it and then got my voice. I literally couldn’t have a squeak come out, and then when we finished, I remembered, I just burst into tears.”
Dolly, 72, has created the music for the new Netflix movie, and despite Jennifer’s emotional reaction to the recording, she’s hailed the Hollywood star, describing the actress as a “real pro”.
She said: “She did get emotional after she was done.”
Jennifer relished the experience of recording the track, even though she felt nervous in the studio.
The actress also praised the supportive influence of Dolly and fellow singer Linda Perry.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she shared: “It was terrifying and fun and all of it … it was great.
“[I was] fearless, yes, or fearful, depending on how you look at it. But I had Dolly and Linda Perry there, who were just patient and wonderful.”
In fact, Jennifer said that her experience of recording the track led her to reminisce about her childhood days when she would practice her singing in front of the mirror.
The former ‘Friends’ star also expressed her admiration for people who sing day in, day out, for a living.
She said: “I sort of had this weird dream of a lifetime just come crashing in on me.
“But boy … bow to all of those guys who do that. It’s quite fab. It’s fantastic.”

Kelly Clarkson ‘acted like a total tool’ during Cher meeting

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson felt like a “tool” as she fan-girled over Cher when they met for the first time.
The ‘Piece By Piece’ hitmaker couldn’t hide her joy recently when she finally met the pop superstar, and she has admitted she still feels like a kid again when it comes to enjoying music and meeting other singers.
Explaining how she gets just as excited with her fellow judges on ‘The Voice’, she told Extra: “I’m a weirdo, I acted like a total tool! I’m a genuine fan of people.
“Even [Adam Levine], I was a genuine fan, he puts on an awesome show. I love going to see [Blake Shelton], I love artists. I love anybody being creative in their own way and what they’re doing. I’m still a 10 year old about that, and I hope I always am.”
Kelly, 36, had been interviewed on the red carpet at the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C. over the weekend when she spotted Cher, 72, behind her and made sure to introduce herself.
She told the ‘Believe’ singer that she’s a “big fan” before telling herself to “stop talking” as she started to race through her words.
She gushed: “Hi! I’m Kelly Clarkson! Nice to meet you! I have never met you, I’ve been talking about you this whole time going, ‘She’s right behind me!’
“I’m a big fan, obviously everyone here is, I’m gonna stop talking. OK, yeah, I get very nervous.”

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrate wedding reception

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their wedding reception in Delhi.
The former Jonas Brothers singer and the 36-year-old ‘Quantico’ actress tied the knot in two different wedding ceremonies – which honoured both Priyanka’s traditional Hindu roots, and Nick’s Christian ones – on Sunday (02.12.18).
And two days later on Tuesday (04.12.18) they are believed to have held the reception for their wedding at Taj Palace in Delhi, India.
The reception was attended by a number of high profile guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to several reports.
Nick’s brother Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner were also in attendance, as were Nick’s parents Kevin Jonas Sr. and Denise Miller-Jonas, and Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, and brother Siddarth.
Meanwhile, the couple recently admitted they found their Western nuptials – which was officiated by the ‘Jealous’ singer’s father – particularly emotional.
‘Baywatch’ star Priyanka – who wore a hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown and a 75-foot veil to the first ceremony – said: “It was all tears. All tears.
“I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”
Whilst 26-year-old Nick added: “The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me. You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.”
Priyanka insisted she never had a “plan” for how she wanted her wedding to look but it “melted [her] heart” when Nick suggested two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds.
She said: “Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.
“It melted my heart. Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.”

Pete Davidson ‘blocks Ariana Grande’ on Instagram

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Davidson has reportedly blocked Ariana Grande on social media.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star – who has opened up about the impact online trolls and cyberbullies have had since their relationship started in May – is said to have blocked his former fiancee on Instagram.
In a screenshot shared by an Ariana fan account on Twitter, the singer herself appears to write: “I have never encouraged anything but forgiveness.
“I care deeply about pete and his health and would never encourage any kind of mistreatment.
“I haven’t seen any of it because i’m blocked but i want you to know that i would never want or encourage that ever and you should know that. i care about him deeply. (sic)”
Although it’s not known exactly when Pete blocked his ex, a source has told Us Weekly that he did so in order to “distance himself from her narrative for his health”.
The latest development comes after Ariana spoke out publicly to defend her former flame – who is reportedly dating again – from any online abuse.
She wrote on Instagram: “I know u already know this but I feel I need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others.
“I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. i care deeply about pete and his health. i’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet. (sic)”
The 25-year-old singer also told her followers she “will always have irrevocable love” for her ex, and said anyone getting a different impression from her recent music – including hit single ‘thank u, next’ – has “missed the point”.
She continued: “So please let whatever point you’re trying to make go. I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.”

Kim Kardashian West’s make-up mad daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s daughter North loves to play with make-up.
The 38-year-old reality star has her own cosmetics line with KKW Beauty, and has said her five-year-old tot North – whom she has with husband Kanye West – is already looking set to follow in her mother’s beauty guru footsteps, as she already has a knack for “doing makeovers”.
Kim – who also has two-year-old son Saint and 10-month-old daughter Chicago with Kanye – said: “I actually had to put her on our P.R. list and get her own set of makeup this time, because she destroys all of mine when she sees it, and then I can’t use it for myself. So, she definitely loves makeup. If she loves it enough, she can definitely take it over, whatever she wants to do [when] she is old enough, she can do.
“But her new favourite thing ever is…closing the door [to her room] with one of her friends or her dolls and doing makeovers. No one can see until the final look is done or she will freak out and cry. She loves a before and after.”
And although the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has received criticism from some fans for letting North put make-up on at such a young age, the beauty insists there’s no harm because the tot isn’t going outside with a “full face of make-up”.
She added: “I feel like my parents were a little bit more strict on me wearing makeup at that age. I had more play makeup that didn’t really work. So as long as we keep everything clean and don’t make too much of a mess on things, I’m fine with her expressing herself and having fun with it. It’s not like we are going out and she wants a full face of makeup. It is just at home and playing.”
But Kim would never feature North in an advertising campaign for KKW Beauty, because she knows she’d get backlash.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: “I would get destroyed [if North was in one wearing makeup]! They would say that is so inappropriate!
“Sometimes I get surprised by things, where I wouldn’t even pick up on [what upsets people]. But usually I know and I’ll even have to call photographers and say, ‘You know what? I really think that someone is going to say something about this. Can we tweak this?'”

Seann Walsh’s relationship was ‘coming towards the end’

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann Walsh doesn’t think he did anything “that wrong” when he kissed Katya Jones.
The comedian caused a stir when he was caught locking lips with his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner Katya Jones – who is married to fellow professional Neil Jones – in October but he claimed his relationship with then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries was “coming towards the end” anyway.
During a set at London’s Comedy Store on Monday (03.12.18), he said: “F***ing hell. I only agreed to do it [‘Strictly’] to get out of watching it. For f***’s sake.
“I will tell you this and we will stop talking about it. But look, I don’t really need to explain myself but I will anyway.
“I was coming towards the end of my relationship, I was getting on with this girl.
“You spend a lot of time with your dance partner on the show and we went for a drink and one thing led to the other. Most of you have seen the result.
“I actually started to think to myself, ‘Hang on, have I actually done anything that wrong?'”
Seann previously apologised for his “mistake”.
He said: “I made a mistake, which I’m very sorry for – sorry for the hurt that I’ve caused.
“You never think about the extent of the damage that you’re going to do, in a moment of, you know the mistake that you’ve made.
“I’m not perfect, far from it. Our relationship wasn’t perfect. That doesn’t mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did, and I’m very sorry for that.
“I feel it’s also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, they know that I am not the person I’m being portrayed as. I’m still sorry for what I did, but it’s very important for me to get that out there.”
His apology was issued days after Rebecca broke her silence on the matter and claimed the comic had branded her a “psycho” for suggesting “something inappropriate was going on” between him and Katya.
She wrote: “Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday. I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink. We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on. He aggressively, and repeatedly called me a psycho / nuts / mental. As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour. (sic)”

Serena Williams saving her shoes for her daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Serena Williams is saving all her shoes to gift to her daughter when she’s older.
The 37-year-old tennis star has said her collection of shoes is ever-growing, because she won’t throw any of them away as she’s saving them all so she can give them to her 15-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia – whom she has with husband Alexis Ohanian – when she’s grown enough to fit into them.
Serena – who runs her own eponymously titled fashion line – said: “We don’t make shoes yet in the collection but my whole shoe closet is for her and that’s why I buy so many.”
The sporting superstar also insisted she’s keeping clothing items from her latest range ready for when her daughter grows up, including a pink sweater that proclaims “I Am Beautiful, I Am Strong”.
She added: “Oh, absolutely. I’m definitely saving that for her.”
Serena also gave an update on family life with the bundle of joy, whom she says is “insane” currently as she’s constantly moving around.
She told People magazine: “She’s just insane. She’s everywhere. If she was out here, she would be over there. It’s so fun. I love her so much.”
Meanwhile, Serena recently admitted she has “insecurities” about being a “good enough” parent to her daughter.
She said: “I always have these insecurities that I’m not good enough as a mom. We all go through these different emotions that we all don’t feel comfortable talking about. But I think we should.”
And Serena also admitted finding a good work/life balance is difficult and juggling both can be “hard”.
She said: “It’s hard. It’s not easy being a working mom, but that’s what we do. Women are strong and we are continuing to be, so I’m really proud of that.”
Asked whether she believes there’s such a thing as a work-life balance, she added: “I think there is. The thing is, you just have to find it.
“I’m not sure if I’ve found it yet, but I’m getting there. I’m finding my personal work-life balance.”

Dalton Harris’ visa needs renewing

OHMYGOSSIP — Dalton Harris needs to return to Jamaica because his visa is about to expire.
The 24-year-old singer – who beat off competition from Anthony Russell and Scarlett Lee to win this year’s ‘X Factor’ at the weekend – had immigration documents which allowed him to stay for the duration of the singing contest, so bosses are now trying to negotiate a new deal so he can come back to the UK for the show’s tour, as well as starting work on his debut album.
Dalton told The Sun newspaper: “I need to get a new visa. I will have to leave the UK for a bit as you’re not allowed to just stay for ever.
“Hopefully my visa will be sorted out quickly.
“I had a visa that allowed me to compete in the show, so I’d be surprised if the government didn’t give me one now I have won.”
The ‘Power of Love’ singer recently explained how he was inspired to audition for ‘The X Factor’ after winning a talent show in Jamaica helped him get off the streets.
He said: “I needed to go to school and I needed to be able to take care of myself because I was a homeless kid and so entering that competition enabled me to be able to take care of myself, go to school, feed myself and do normal stuff.
“It was kind of a big help and I knew I wanted to be an artist and I knew I had to go to a big platform.”
Dalton – who previously won more than £6,000 in cash after winning Digicel Rising Stars in Kingston – has now been given a recording deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music.

Demi Lovato returns to martial arts following rehab stay

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has returned to jiu jitsu, following her admission to rehab earlier this year.
The 26-year-old singer completed a 90-day stint in rehab after an apparent overdose left her hospitalised in July, and is continuing to work on her sobriety and health.
On Tuesday (04.12.18) Demi confirmed she was getting back in fighting shape by returning to the martial art of jiu jitsu, when she posted a picture of herself wearing her martial art attire on Instagram and claimed she would “never give up”.
She captioned the snap: Sweaty, messy jiu jitsu hair.. #BJJ #bluebelt #nevergiveup (sic)”
The ‘Sober’ singer earned her blue belt in 2017, and previously spoke about how martial arts has helped her both keep fit and relieve stress.
She said last year: “Being able to do the moves that you do and flow with people, it’s an art form and it’s really beautiful, and it takes my mind off of things that I stress about, [because] I’m constantly thinking: ‘What do I need to defend? What move can I make now?’ It’s like a game of chess.”
Her return to her beloved sport comes after it was previously revealed she has been following a strict fitness regime as she continues to work on her sobriety.
A source said: “She’s been working out with a trainer several days per week, eating right, and truly has a whole different mindset.
“She has been following all of the steps and guidelines put in place by her specialists.”
Meanwhile, an insider recently claimed that while Demi is doing everything she can to remain healthy, she has found her recovery to be a “struggle”.
The source said: “[Demi] is in a really great place, but she’s doing everything she can to maintain that because she knows every day is a struggle.
“Demi is taking a cautious approach with her recent exit from rehab. She has a sober coach, she is working out and eating healthy, surrounding herself with positive influences … and splits her time in a sober living facility and at home.”

Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis ‘to be made into Netflix movie’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis’ is reportedly set to be turned into a movie.
The popular online talk show – which features the comedian talking to numerous high-profile guests – is being made into a movie for Netflix and production on the film is already underway.
Scott Aukerman, who directed many of the series’ segments and also co-created the programme, is set to assume the directorial responsibilities, while Zach will be reprising his role as the awkward host of the show.
Numerous high-profile guests, including the likes of Peter Dinklage, David Letterman, Keanu Reeves and Bradley Cooper, have been lined up to star in the upcoming movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the past, the show – which has appeared sporadically since it premiered in 2008 – has featured a long list of well-known guests, including former US President Barack Obama and pop star Justin Bieber.
Meanwhile, Zach previously admitted to contemplating walking away from the film industry.
Despite the success he’s enjoyed in the business, Zach insisted he values his personal happiness over his career.
The ‘Hangover’ star said: “I think about it all the time. My life is more important than my work. The stand-up would be hard to not do, but my interests are more homesteader interests.”
The comedian also admitted to having “matured”, saying his new outlook has changed his approach to his work.
He shared: “If you always want to be the fat guy who says things that don’t make sense, that’s great. But at this point in my life I want to try different storytelling.”

Miley Cyrus ‘healing’ after losing home in California wildfires

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus is “in a place of healing” after losing her home in the California wildfires.
The ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ hitmaker and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth were among the thousands of people forced to evacuate their homes after the devastating Woolsey fire tore through the Malibu and Calabasas area last month.
Opening up about how the disaster affected her in an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, the 25-year-old singer admitted: “Honestly, I’m in a really good kind of healing place right now.
“I’ve definitely learned a lot.”
The ‘Malibu’ singer says the wildfires took her through a “deep character challenge” and made her realise what her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, meant when he told her that “life is a series of adjustments”.
She explained: “My dad has always told me, ‘Life is a series of adjustments.’ And sometimes we never understand what our parents are telling us until we start to experience life more because they learn those things as they go.
“So I’m starting to really understand what that means now.
“I think experiencing something as life-changing and devastating as a natural disaster, it’s a really deep character challenge, I think, to see the way you react to loss.”
Miley – who with her actor husband donated $500,000 to the fire relief efforts – accepted that she had “no control” over the natural disaster and decided to move forward with a positive attitude and focused her attention to helping out her local community.
She said: “For me, I had a choice of post-traumatic stress or post-traumatic growth.
“I think I always, you feel like you don’t have control, especially when something happens that’s a natural disaster because there is no beating nature; it is really what it is.
“To be able to go into yourself and to find that growth and say, ‘What am I gonna do about this?’ and being able to be an active member of my community — not as a celebrity figure but just as a neighbour — has just been really a big growing experience.”
All that remains from the couple’s property is concrete letters that spell out “love”.
Miley candidly admits that she went through a “dark time” but that those four words brought her solace.
She said: “That’s literally and physically all that’s left, so I felt that that was really poetic.
“You can always rebuild a physical structure, but that love that can’t be destroyed is always there and always stays strong.
“That’s been something that gave me a lot of light at a dark time.”
Following the blaze, ‘Hunger Games’ star Liam, 28, took to Instagram to post a picture of their burnt down property and admitted it had been “a heartbreaking few days”.
Posting the snap on Twitter, he wrote: “It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires.

Nicole Kidman issues plea to moviegoers

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman has urged moviegoers to throw their support behind lower-budget productions.
The Academy Award-winning actress recognises that the movie business is facing increased competition from the TV industry, and Nicole has therefore stressed the importance of looking beyond the blockbuster productions.
The Australian actress – who stars in the Joel Edgerton-directed drama ‘Boy Erased’ – said: “These films are hard right now. They’re hard to get audiences for. They’re hard to get made.”
Nicole explained that a production like ‘Boy Erased’ needs more support from moviegoers than another of her new films, the superhero film ‘Aquaman’.
She told Australia’s ABC: “You know, I’m also in ‘Aquaman’. That is not hard to get made. It’s a whole different thing and it’s nice to be fun.
“But this is where you go ‘please go and see these movies’ because otherwise we won’t have the chance to make them anymore.”
Meanwhile, ‘Aquaman’ director James Wan recently hailed Nicole’s attitude during the shoot for the new movie.
The filmmaker admitted Nicole, 51, was forced to endure some particularly punishing times on set, likening one scene to “being pelted with rocks”.
Recalling his experience of working with the award-winning actress, James shared: “Nicole was a trooper, because really, we were pummelling her with this massive water tank that shoots rainstorms, just coming down on her. When you get hit with those, it’s like being pelted with rocks.”

Lauren Jauregui: Leaving Syco will be a good change for Little Mix

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Jauregui believes Little Mix leaving Syco Records will be “good” for the band.
The Fifth Harmony star and her bandmates were signed to Simon Cowell’s label and Epic in a joint deal after coming third on the The 2012 series of ‘X Factor’ in the US, and, after going solo and inking a deal with Columbia Records herself, she knows just how the ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ hitmakers will be feeling.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “I love Little Mix they are f***ing dope and they are killing it over here.
“Change can be a good thing, I am on a different label now too, in the UK so it’s natural.”
The 22-year-old star says that she is forever grateful to music mogul Simon and will always see him as a huge part of her journey.
She said: “He’s definitely a huge part of my personal story and a huge part of a lot of people’s story.
“I’m grateful forever for the opportunity because he’s also the reason why I even auditioned for ‘The X Factor’ to begin with.”
As for her own music, Lauren says she is really into using her vocals as an “instrument” accompanied with guitar and “strong lyrics”.
On her solo material, the ‘Expectations’ singer said: “It’s the beginning of a vibe.
“I’ve been exploring my sound.
“I gravitate towards the guitar and strong lyrics.
“I’m using my voice as an instrument.”
Lauren is loving that there are so many strong female artists with something to say coming through.
She said: “All these bad-ass women are having conversations.
“I love hearing everyone’s story and doing their own thing.
“I love watching women win.”
Lauren previously defended Little Mix after they stripped bare for the promo for their single ‘Strip’.
The girl group – comprised of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson – released the music video for the song last month, which features the four bandmates naked but covered in insults written across their bodies.
And after they received backlash on Twitter for their decision to show their skin, fellow singer Lauren hit back at critics, claiming their clothing choices don’t make them any “less empowered”.
One critic wrote: “‘Little Mix strip naked and are scrawled with insults.’ Yet again, young women pretend that going naked empowers them. It doesn’t. It’s just another cheap way to sell themselves. But I suppose it makes a nice change from this group dressing like hookers.”
To which she replied: “If your intention is the empowerment of women, how about you don’t add yourself to the list of misogynists who deem what is appropriate enough to be ‘respectable’. All forms deserve respect. They are no less empowered because of their clothing choices. Don’t be salty they look [hot]. (sic)”

Noel Edmonds set for Joe Wicks-style fitness YouTube channel

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Edmonds wants to start a YouTube fitness channel to become a “Joe Wicks for the over-40s”.
The 69-year-old TV presenter is said to have been inundated with work offers since he was axed from ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ last week, and he is thought to be considering a book deal and online video channel to follow in the footsteps of The Body Coach, but for an older audience.
A source said: “Negotiations are already taking place.”
Should the channel or book materialise, Noel and his wife Liz, 49, would give fitness and lifestyle tips, as well as recipes to fans.
It is thought the channel could get off the ground by the spring, and Noel looks set for a busy 2019 as his former show ‘Noel’s Christmas Presents’ – which aired from 1986 to 1999 on BBC One, and then on Sky 1 from 2007 to 2012 – is in line for a comeback.
The insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “This show was always popular. One way or another it is very much looking like Noel will be back on TV next year.”
What’s more, Noel is keen to team up with his former fellow campmate Harry Redknapp when the former Tottenham manager leaves the jungle, after the pair struck up a great friendship Down Under.
He recently said: “I think it is OK to say there have been a couple of ideas put forward for a Noel and Harry show.
“But my boy is still in there so we will have to wait for him to come out.
“We did have a laugh and I think judging by what I have heard it went down well with the viewers.”
