Lindsey Buckingham brands new-look Fleetwood Mac a ‘cover band’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsey Buckingham has branded Fleetwood Mac a “cover band” but insisted he’d be interested in a return.
The iconic guitarist was sacked from the band in January and just last week a settlement was reached after he began legal proceedings against his former bandmates in October alleging breach of fiduciary duty and breach of oral contract.
Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, and Stevie Nicks have now joined up with Crowded House’s Neil Finn and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell for the upcoming tour.
Lindsey told Stereogum: “Look, it’s Fleetwood Mac, anything’s possible. Maybe they’ll get it out of their system. If they ask me to come back, would I?
“Sure, because to me I think the lack of a proper farewell tour, if that’s what we’re doing, that doesn’t undercut, like I say, the legacy that we have so carefully built as the five of us, which they’re not doing right now.
“I don’t know what they’re doing. It’s a cover band kind of deal, and Stevie may be enjoying that, and that’s fine. If she is happy doing that, there is no one outcome that I think is going to be okay.”
He recently admitted he hadn’t spoken to any of his former bandmates since his dismissal from the group, but Christine recently reached out to him.
He said: “I have had, only in the last couple of weeks, I have gotten an email, which I expected to get, from Christine McVie.
“She wrote me an email and basically said, ‘Dearest Lindsey, just know that I had nothing to do with any of this. Know that I miss you so much.’ She said, ‘I believe deep in Stevie’s heart that she would like you to come home.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia May Jagger debuted her new bright pink hair at the British Fashion Awards.
The 26-year-old model and designer- who is the daughter of model Jerry Hall and Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger – unveiled her dramatic new hairstyle on the red carpet for the first time at the glitzy event held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday night (10.12.18).
The beauty’s new bold locks created a contrast look with her elegant two piece fuchsia suit and Georgia paired the look with a rare neutral makeup look featuring a nude lip and subtle eyes – and the fashionista wore copper platform heels adorned with multicoloured decorative disks.
Although this is the first time she has stepped out with her new look, Georgia gave a sneak peak at her coloured tresses earlier this year by sharing a selfie social media, and the star was flooded with comments from fans who loved her new look.
One user wrote: “I absolutely love this new look! So brave to try such a bold colour, you look amazing x (sic)”
Another said: “Pink dream! Looking very cool Georgia (sic)”
The model is known for her bright and bold make-up looks and signature quirky outfits, and last year the style icon launched her very own clothing line inspired by music, art and travel, in collaboration with Volcom’s Stone Row and the brand’s womenswear global design director, was over the moon to be working with her.
She said: “She is honest and focused on what she wants. Plus, she is with us every step of the way through the design process. With a common influence from London and California, we are aligned on our inspiration for Volcom and Stone Row, so it’s been a great partnership.”

Duchess of Sussex makes surprise appearance at Fashion Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance during the annual Fashion Awards in London on Monday night (10.12.18).
The 37-year-old Duchess was on hand at the glitzy bash at the Royal Albert Hall to give Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller the British Designer of the Year Womenswear Award.
Meghan – who wore a black one-shoulder dress for the ceremony – said on the stage: “It’s such a pleasure to be here, celebrating British fashion and British designers, in my new home in the UK.”
Meanwhile, Clare – who designed the Duchess’ wedding dress – also heaped praise on the British royal, describing her as “amazing”.
She said: “This woman is so amazing. I got to know Meghan on such a personal level. To have someone like that trust you on such a personal moment in their life … I can’t thank you enough because it was the most beautiful moment.”
Elsewhere, Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli won the coveted Designer of the Year award, beating off competition from Gucci, Dior Homme, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy.
However, Gucci still enjoyed some success on the evening, taking home the Brand of the Year accolade, while Kim Jones – Dior Homme’s creative director – was handed the Trailblazer Award.
Kaia Gerber won the sought-after Model of the Year prize, overcoming competition from Adut Akech, Adwoa Aboah, Bella Hadid and Winnie Harlow to claim the coveted gong.
Kaia, 17, is the daughter of fashion icon Cindy Crawford and she attended the event in London alongside her mother.
Other big-name stars in attendance at the ceremony included David and Victoria Beckham, as well as Kendall Jenner, Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Chris Gascoyne keen for Corrie death plot

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Gascoyne says it would be “brilliant” if his ‘Coronation Street’ character drank himself to death.
The 50-year-old actor insist the only way his recovering alcoholic character Peter Barlow could leave Weatherfield would be in a coffin, and while he admits it wouldn’t be a nice plot, he “would like” to play out the storyline.
He said: “If they said to me that they were going to write Peter out or I told them that I was finished for good, he would have to drink himself to death.
“I don’t think it would be a very nice storyline, but it would be brilliant. Something tragic would happen and he falls off the wagon again and drinks himself into oblivion. I would like to do that.”
Despite talk of a potential cobbles departure for Peter, Chris insists he is not in any hurry to leave the soap for the time being.
He added: “I’m not wanting to leave at all. I’m loving it at the moment – I’ve had a brilliant two-and-a-half years back.
“I’m not saying I’m chucking it in. This could be in five or 10 years. That’s how I’d like the story to play out.”
Peter is set to dice with death when he and son Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) are caught up in a terrifying boat blaze, which will see their lives “hang in the balance”.
A source recently said: “There’s a massive fire on a boat on the canal and Simon is inside.
“Peter and Simon’s lives hang in the balance. It’s going to be a huge stunt. They’re planning massive pyrotechnics and special FX.”

Katie Jarvis ‘humbled’ after award success

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Jarvis is feeling “humbled” after landing an award.
The ‘EastEnders’ newcomer – who plays Hayley Slater on the BBC One soap – is feeling grateful after she won the Best Soap Talent accolade in Nothing But’s TV Awards.
She tweeted: “To say I’m extremely humbled by this award is an understatement.
Thank you so much to every one who took the time to vote for me. It really does mean so much and I hope i can continue to make all my supporters proud (sic)”
Ricky Champ – who plays Stuart Highway on ‘EastEnders’ – was one of the first people to congratulate the 27-year-old actress for picking up the accolade.
He wrote on Twitter: “Congrats superstar xxxx (sic)”
Jason Maza – who starred alongside Katie in 2009 movie ‘Fish Tank’, which also featured former ‘EastEnders’ actress Kierston Wareing (Kirsty Branning) – tweeted: “boom! (sic)”
Katie is no stranger to picking up accolades for her work, having a hat-trick of accolades for her performance as 15-year-old Mia in the drama movie, which saw her star alongside Michael Fassbender.
She scooped the Most Promising Newcomer prize at the British Independent Film Awards; Best British Performance gong at the Edinburgh International Film Festival; and she was handed the London Film Critics Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year.
Katie looks set to play a pivotal role in this year’s ‘EastEnders’ festive episodes which will see her cousin Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) world “shattered into pieces” when all is revealed that her husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) has fathered a baby with Hayley.
The truth about Alfie and Hayley is set to be revealed in “catastrophic style”, which will put paid to his plans to give Kat a “perfect Christmas”.

Nick Knowles called I’m A Celeb medics after Harry Redknapp stroke fear

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp has revealed Nick Knowles called medics on his behalf on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, because he feared the former football manager had suffered a stroke.
The 71-year-old star – who was named King of the Jungle – says that the 56-year-old TV presenter was heard asking for a medic during Anne Hegerty’s exit, because he feared the former Tottenham boss was having a stroke after one side of his face swelled up.
Harry told The Sun newspaper: “An insect got into my lip, I didn’t even know.
“They said, ‘What’s happened?’ My face has swelled up on one side, but I wasn’t having a stroke, thankfully.”
Viewers thought that a medical emergency was unfolding last week after Nick was heard urging his fellow stars to get Medic Bob into camp “as soon as possible”.
Some fans overheard him – even though his cry was barely audible – and after watching back it can be confirmed that the ‘DIY SOS’ star can clearly be heard requesting aid.
Speaking into his mic, Nick whispered: “Gallery, if anybody is listening. I think this is fairly important.
“We need to see Bob as soon as possible, as soon as Anne’s crossed the bridge.”
After concerns rose, a TV insider told the publication that everyone in the camp was fine at the time.
They explained: “There is no medical emergency.”
Harry’s health became an increasing concern on the show after viewers noticed that the star’s frame was shrinking because he wasn’t eating properly.
He refused to eat some of the jungle delicacies – such as kangaroo and wallaby wings – because he had been so turned off by the unusual meat provided to them.
The popular campmate was voted the new King of The Jungle during Sunday night’s (09.12.18) finale.
‘Inbetweeners’ star Emily Atack finished in second place and John Barrowman was third.

Joel Dommett fell asleep and missed I’m A Celebrity wrap party

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Dommett slept through the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ wrap party.
The 33-year-old TV presenter revealed he and his ‘Extra Camp’ co-presenters, Scarlett Moffatt and Joe Swash, missed the celebratory end-of-series bash because they were exhausted from filming and crashed out in their hotel.
He told the MailOnline: “We filmed the last ‘Extra Camp’ of the series and then Scarlett, Joe and I went back to the hotel to watch a movie. And we fell asleep.
“We just slept. We were asleep.
“You film 22 shows back-to-back, every day.
“It’s really mad. I wake up and go in and help write the script.
“Then I get in after and watch the next episode, but that’s hard because they’re not yet completed. It’s hard to write about something that’s not finished yet.
“The show is just a round the clock, military operation. But I absolutely love it. I just love what it stands for, I respect it so much and that’s worth the 14 hour days.”
The former ‘Skins’ actor also feels that Holly Willoughby – who replaced usual host Ant McPartlin on the show, after he took some time off from work commitments following a drink-driving conviction earlier this year – did a “brilliant” job presenting alongside Declan Donnelly.
He said: “Holly did so well – she was so brilliant. She exceeded everyone’s expectations. To use this series’ catchphrase: ‘She smashed it.’
“And we all love Ant so much and missed him a lot.
“But Holly did so great – it was a tough thing to have to do.
“I know her but don’t know her well enough to be able to say how proud I am of her but – you know what, yeah, I’m proud of her.”

Sarah Hyland ‘doing great’ as she works on her health

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland is reportedly “doing great” as she figures out how to manage her physical and mental health.
The 28-year-old star recently revealed she underwent a second kidney transplant after the first – from her father – failed and her younger brother was found to be a match, but the situation left her “contemplating suicide”.
Now, a source added to PEOPLE magazine: “She still has her hard days. [But] she’s not healthy when it comes to her kidneys.
“She’s doing well, and her levels are all good. But she is taking immunosuppressant drugs that make her very vulnerable to germs and disease so she has to be so cautious.”
Sarah has admitted she felt depressed after the first tranplant failed, and it’s said she is in a much better place now after a “challenging” time.
The insider said: “Not only has all of this been physically demanding, but the emotional and mental demands have been just as challenging.
“She has a chronic illness and she will have to deal with it for the rest of her life. She’s still working through it all.”
The comments come after the ‘Modern Family’ actress’ boyfriend Wells Adams spoke out to praise his girlfriend – who was struck by further tragedy earlier this month when her 14-year-old cousin was killed in an alleged motor vehicle homicide – after she opened up about her health problems.
Posting a picture of the pair of them on Instagram, the former ‘Bachelorette’ star wrote on the photo sharing app: “This beautiful specimen has had a tough couple of weeks. I’m here to remind you @sarahhyland that there is light amongst all the darkness.
“If you ever doubt that, just look at this picture and remember how awesome we are. Throw on some sweats, order some Postmates and put on Home Alone. I’ll be home soon. (sic)”

Jason Momoa loves Australian ‘grog’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa loves “the grog” in Australia.
The ‘Aquaman’ hunk spent time on the Gold Ghost while he was filming the new DC Comics blockbuster, and while he loves “going out into nature” and sampling local cuisine, the booze was also a big part of it.
Speaking to the country’s Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: “What makes Australia so beautiful I think is just the people, the great people who work hard and play hard and they have a great outlook on life…
“Going out into nature and just the food … and mostly the grog.”
The 39-year-old lived in the Barossa Valley for a few years in the past, and he remains a big fan of the nation.
Despite his image as a Hollywood tough guy, the actor recently revealed he has a soft side thanks to the influence of his mum Coni.
Admitting he got emotional on the set of ‘Aquaman’, he said: “I was constantly crying. I was raised by a single other and I’m very connected to my emotions.”
Family is very important to Jason, who has two children with wife Lisa Bonet – daughter Lola Iolani, 10, and nine-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha – and he previously admitted his ideal day off is getting out “around nature” with his loved ones.
He said at the time: “Cuddling babies, kissing my wife, playing in the dirt, rock climbing, just being with my kids.
“I literally fly in, we do this, I fly back, and I have everything set up, we’re going camping. I love being with my kids around nature.”

The 23-year-old model ensured all eyes were on her at the ceremony held at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday night (10.12.18) in the beautiful dress created by British designer Julien MacDonald and the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star left little the imagination as she went braless under the beaded gown.
Kendall showed off her fabulous figure in the golden mesh long-sleeved gown which boasted a thigh-high split and floor-length skirt and the glamorous ensemble was adorned with dazzling gold embellished accents.
And everyone could see her nude thong underneath which she paired with nude heels with see-through Perspex straps.
She kept her makeup natural with a subtle blush and cat eyes and styled her hair in a sleek low chiffon bun.
Kendall accessorised her outfit with a pair of matching gold chunky square hoop earrings and adorned her hands with multiple gold and silver rings.
Elsewhere at the event, Kaia Gerber became the youngest ever recipient of the Model of the Year Award, fighting off fierce competition from the likes of Adwoa Aboah, Adut Akech, Bella Hadid and Winnie Harlow.
Claire Waight Keller was awarded with the gong for British Womenswear Designer of the Year and was presented with the award in a surprise appearance from the Duchess of Sussex – whose wedding dress she designed for her nuptials to Prince Harry.
Miuccia Prada was given the Outstanding Achievement Award for her massive contribution for fashion over a 30-year spanning career, while Vivienne Westwood was presented with the Swarovski Award for Positive Change and British menswear designer Kim Jones was awarded with the 2018 Trailblazer Award.

Blake Fielder-Civil slams plans for Amy Winehouse hologram tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil has slammed Mitch Winehouse’s plan to stage a hologram tour for the late star’s fans.
Blake – who was married to Amy from 2007 until 2009 – has revealed he objects to the upcoming tour and has suggested people are seeking to exploit Amy’s talents for their own financial benefit.
Appearing on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Blake explained: “The way I feel about the actual hologram itself, it’s no different to watching a video clip or listening to her music.
“I object to every sort of opportunity that’s been made. It seems since Amy passed away seven years ago, there’s been three films, a hologram tour. To me, I can’t see many other reasons for this tour.”
However, Piers Morgan – one of the co-presenters of the show – subsequently accused Blake of having also cashed in on Amy’s memory by selling his story to the press.
In response, Blake said: “To call it cashing in is a bit misleading.
“I would have done it without any money, but the reason I ended up taking money was I had been in a situation where I found it really hard to get a job and couldn’t really earn money any other way.”
Meanwhile, Amy’s family have defended the upcoming hologram tour, which will see a digital replica of the singer – who died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011 – perform some of her hit songs.
In a statement, the family said: “All the family’s proceeds from the hologram tour will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which is helping 1,000s of young people around the UK and abroad through its drugs and alcohol education, music programmes, women’s recovery house and much more.
“Though there has been a positive reaction from her fans, not everyone has to welcome the hologram. But ultimately Amy believed passionately in helping those in need and that is a vital part of her legacy we want to secure.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooklyn Beckham confirmed his new romance with Hana Cross at The Fashion Awards in London on Monday night (10.12.18).
The 19-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham – who previously dated Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz – was seen walking hand-in-hand with the model following the glitzy bash at the Royal Albert Hall.
The duo partied at a private residence in North London after attending the star-studded awards ceremony.
Hana also shared an Instagram video of herself and Brooklyn in the early hours of Tuesday morning, in which she kisses him on the cheek.
The happy couple were spotted singing and dancing along to The Jacksons’ ‘Blame It On The Boogie’.
Meanwhile, Chloe recently confessed that her public displays of affection with Brooklyn were an act of rebellion.
The ‘Kick-Ass’ star – whose relationship with Brooklyn ended earlier this year – admitted they were often captured kissing by the paparazzi because of her rebellious attitude.
She conceded: “The problem with me is that I’m fairly rebellious, in the sense that if people tell me not to do [something], I’ll be like, I’m going to do it, and I’m going to jump in head first and do a flip.
“I was like, ‘Why can’t I kiss on the street and do all of the things that my friends are doing?’ And you can – you can do whatever you want – but then I’d come home and be mad that there’s a photo of me kissing on the street.
“And my brother would [say], ‘Chloe, you can’t be mad, because you did that! Yes, your friends are doing that, but you are not your friends.’ I started to see [I was] only hurting myself.”

George Clooney is an ‘awesome’ husband, says Amal’s sister

OHMYGOSSIP — George Clooney’s sister-in-law thinks he’s “awesome”.
The ‘Up in the Air’ actor’s spouse Amal was named 2018 Global Citizen of the Year last week, and while her family couldn’t be more proud, they also recognise the 57-year-old actor – who has 18-month-old twins Alexander and Ella with his wife – is a great source of support to her.
Amal’s sister, Tala Alamuddin, told the new issue of Grazia magazine: “To see [her work] being recognised on a global scale is immeasurably rewarding for us all and I am as proud as I can possibly be. Let us also acknowledge that behind this great woman, my sister, there is one emphatically awesome man and a family who simply adore her.”
The accessories designer also paid a heartfelt tribute to her “brilliant” sibling, admitting she admires everything she is striving for in her career as a human rights lawyer.
She said: “My sister is brilliant. She has a keen sense of self, an easy intellectual capacity and, in understanding her talents, chose law as the best medium to positively impact the most amount of people. Through her career, she makes personal sacrifices to progress the lives of others. Amal views life through a rare lens, one that is authentic, pure, and heartfelt. As her sister, I am naturally biased, but I truly admire her decision-making capabilities, which are founded upon a deeply empathetic internal compass – one that she has always held.”
And Tala insists Amal never had a “grand plan”, she’s just worked hard for her success.
She said: “There was no grand plan – she never thought, ‘I want to be on the cover of TIME magazine, woman of the year, or a UN honouree.’
“Instead, Amal dug deep and worked incredibly hard to achieve her success, which did not come without its challenging moments.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Goldblum checks out his own memes online.
The ‘Jurassic Park’ star has admitted he gets “a kick out of” seeing the kind of things his fans post about him every day, including their tattoos and references to his bare chested scene in the 1993 blockbuster.
Appearing on ‘The Project’, he said: “I must say, I’m a little bit of an idiot. I don’t mind going on Instagram [and checking the] hashtag Jeff Goldblum.
“And checking out what people have said, and pictures they’ve posted and what tattoos they’ve gotten of me. I get a kick out of it. I think it’s very funny.”
The infamous ‘Jurassic Park’ scene has become a viral hit, with fans getting ink of the movie moment and posting various takes on the ‘Sexy Jeff Goldblum’ meme.
Opening up about the scene itself, Jeff previously suggested his scientist alter ego Ian Malcolm’s style choice made perfect sense.
He previously said: “It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? So things are hot and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever.
“All the logic is that we got to get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that.”
Now, the 66-year-old star has admitted he still works out to keep up his physique, and he joked he is “proud” of his body.
He laughed: “I’m proud of my pectoral accomplishments!”
Meanwhile, Jeff has two sons – Charlie, three, and River, 19 months – with his wife Emilie Livingston, and he recently revealed he was glad he waited until later in life to have children.
He explained: “I am glad I didn’t have kids until now really. I don’t know that I was equipped and I was busy and probably more self involved than I’m possibly capable of now, we’ll see. I do enjoy my kids now.”

The couple tied the knot at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India, earlier this month, and they appear to have adapted to married life perfectly well after she took to Instagram to share a snap of herself lying on her significant other’s chest, with her sparkling wedding band fully on display.
She captioned the image: “Marital bliss they say (sic)”
Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, who attended the pair’s nuptials, commented: “Everything”
Nick’s brother Joe Jonas recently admitted the couple are a “match made in heaven”, and he “knew right away” that they were made for each other.
He said: “Seeing Nick’s face when he first met her, and the way he talks about her, and then getting to meet her and seeing what an amazing person she is, I knew right away that they were a match made in heaven.”
Nick and Priyanka married in traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies, and Joe admitted they were emotional times for the guests.
He said: “My face hurts from smiling so much. The ceremonies themselves were so beautiful. The Indian ceremony, for me, was something new. We were all in tears.”
The Christian ceremony was officiated by Nick’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., with the entire wedding party wearing Ralph Lauren, and they followed that up with a Hindu wedding the next day, to celebrate Priyanka’s heritage.
A source said: “It is super important to Priyanka to have an Indian ceremony that celebrates her heritage and culture, just as it’s important to also have a Western ceremony that celebrates Nick’s Christian upbringing. They are doing both.”

Leonardo DiCaprio ordered to return Oscar statue

OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio has been ordered to return an Oscars statue.
The 44-year-old actor – who ended a long career journey when he was named best actor for his role in 2015’s ‘The Revenant’ – was gifted Marlon Brando’s 1954 trophy for ‘On The Waterfront’, and he will have to hand it over to authorities due to an ongoing court case.
As reported by the New York Times, Malasian financier Jho Low gave Leonardo the award after originally buying it at an auction for $600,000.
Low – who financed the actor’s movie ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ in 2013 – is accused of committing fraud against an investment fund for billions of dollars.
As well as Brando’s Oscar, the star has also handed over other presents given by Low, including a Pablo Picasso painting.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences retains the right to by any of its statues by for just $1, so it’s expected that’s where the trophy will be returned to following the end of the investigation.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that DiCaprio is “very serious” about his relationship with Camila Morrone.
Of their burgeoning romance, a source explained: “He’s more mature and thinking longer term.”
Although marriage is “definitely not a discussion yet”, the duo are said to be “content” with how their relationship is developing.
Another insider recently explained: “He is very serious with Cami and has been for a while now, but marriage is not something that is on the horizon.”
Leonardo is also conscious that Camila is “young and in a different space in life” and as a result, the Hollywood star is trying not to look too far ahead with their romance.
