Sandra Bullock started Christmas prep before Thanksgiving

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Bullock started preparing for Christmas “before Thanksgiving” to make sure her children got the most out of the festive season.
The proud mother-of-two – who has adopted children Louis, eight, and six-year-old Laila – knew she’d be away a lot promoting her new film ‘Bird Box’ so she ensured that she had everything ready to make Christmas as relaxed as possible.
She told Extra: “I started Christmas about two weeks before Thanksgiving … Tree goes up… I was traveling a lot, I wanted my kids to have the feeling because it feels like it comes and goes you don’t get to appreciate it because you’re running around doing the gift thing and I’m like we’re not enjoying Christmas thoroughly.”
While the prep started early Sandra, 54, recently revealed she has “stopped” going overboard with gifts for her kids on Christmas Day (25.12.18), and this year she will only be giving her children “three small gifts” each, because she wants to highlight the importance of being grateful for what they have.
She explained: “Usually [Christmas is] overdone. Really, really overdone because I overdo it, and then I panic that I didn’t do enough, and then I get more, and then everyone else has overdone it. But this year we just stopped. We just stopped because there’s so much happening in the world where people don’t have anything. And we said, ‘Why don’t we just make this about other people?’ And they were amazing about it. So Christmas is three small gifts.”
Her comments come after she previously admitted she could be “a little neurotic” when it comes to her kids, as the current state of the world leaves her “afraid every day” of what might happen to her children whilst they’re at school.
She said: “I now realise what it feels like to be afraid every single day because I love my kids to the point where I’m a little neurotic, in what’s happening out in the world, and am I a good mother?”

The 22-year-old model rekindled her romance with the ‘Starboy’ singer this year after previously dating him for over a year between early 2015 and late 2016 and since getting back together with him Bella just can’t get enough of her bae.
When asked who the most beautiful person is in her life for Vogue’s
’73 Questions’ video interview, Bella simply replied: “My boyfriend.”
The catwalk star also opened up on her “resting bitch face” admitting her unintentional scowl deters people from speaking to her.
Opening up about what goes through her mind when she’s being photographed, Bella said: “Um, be fierce, be fierce, be fierce but don’t be too fierce because apparently it really freaks people out. I get told that people don’t think I’m as nice as I am, and I guess the resting bitch face kind of throws them off.”
The brunette beauty – whose older sister is 23-year-old Gigi Hadid -previously enrolled on a photography course at Parsons School of Design in New York before her modelling career took off and in the Q&A session she also revealed she “loves making art”.
Speaking about her love of photography, she said: “It’s true, I never left the house without my camera, and then I went to school for photography and film at Parsons. Why Photography? I just love making art. I love lighting, I love holding a camera, I love – you know – being able to take a picture and set a time and place and capture emotion. You know, Steven Meisel, growing up, I think all of his pictures from the 90s and I mean up until now he’s such an iconic photographer. He actually made me love photography and modelling.”

Kim Kardashian West star-struck during movie night with Jennifer Lopez

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West was star-struck as Jennifer Lopez joined her for a “movie night”.
The reality TV star had a gathering at her home on Tuesday (18.12.18) as she was joined by sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, their mother Kris Jenner, singer Sia and J.Lo herself as they watched her new film ‘Second Act’.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Kim said: “I’m having a movie night at my house. Never in my life would I have imagined that my idol would want to come have a movie night with me.”
The 38-year-old star credited Jennifer, 49 with her glamorous sense of style, and described the singer and actress as her ultimate “inspiration”.
She added: “My inspiration for everything has been Jennifer Lopez. I would try and see what shoes she’d wear, what makeup, what hair – I became obsessed with glam because of Jennifer. I never would have imagined this would have been my life. I always fan girl for her. Dreams do come true, guys!”
The gathering also acting as a birthday celebration for Sia, who was celebrating turning 43.
Meanwhile, Kim will have more J.Lo inspiration in 2019 after the star announced her own skincare line.
She recently said: “I will be coming out with a skincare line; I’ve been working on it for a long time because I don’t want to put just anything out. It’s going to be something that works, that’s what you can count on when my name is on something.”
The preventative range, which will launch next year, will stave off signs of ageing and the star wants to share “all the secrets” she’s learned over the years to stay looking great.
She said: “I want it to be something that encompasses all the things I’ve learned and all the secrets I have, and it doesn’t have anything to do with needles.”

Avicii’s parents will inherit his $25.5 million fortune

OHMYGOSSIP — Avicii’s entire fortune of approximately $25.5 million will be inherited by his parents.
It has been decided that Klas Bergling and Anki Liden – who are the father and mother of the Swedish DJ who passed away on April 20 at the age of 28 – will be awarded the EDM star’s entire estate.
According to TMZ, legal documents in his native Sweden reveal that because the ‘Lonely Together’ hitmaker – whose real name was Tim Bergling – was single at the time of his death and left no will, his parents are legally the sole beneficiaries as his next of kin.
Avicii’s mother Anki is a Swedish actress who has appeared in more than 50 films and television shows since 1971 and his dad is an entrepreneur.
The late DJ – who was born in Stockholm – has three siblings David Bergling, Linda Sterner and Anton Korberg.
Avicii tragically was found dead in a hotel room in Muscat in Oman after taking his own life.
The ‘Wake Me Up’ musician had retired from performing in 2016 citing health issues as his reason for calling time on his shows.
He had been battling with acute pancreatitis – which is a potentially life-threatening inflammation of the pancreas – due in part to excessive alcohol consumption, and had his gallbladder and appendix removed in 2014.

Leslie Mann wept when her daughter went to college

OHMYGOSSIP — Leslie Mann couldn’t stop crying when her oldest daughter went to college because it was the “saddest time ever” for her.
The ‘Blockers’ star has two girls, 20-year-old Maude and 16-year-old Iris, with her director husband Judd Apatow, and she admits she is prepared for Maude to hit the milestone birthday of 21 because she already wept for her lost childhood when she took her to college in Chicago.
Speaking to the winter issue of NewBeauty magazine, Leslie said: “The biggest milestone for me was when she went away to college. I think I cried for four years before she went, and then the week that we brought her to Chicago to set up her dorm room and everything, I had no control over my tears and my sadness. It was just the saddest time ever. Then she came home a year-and-a-half later. She also has a boyfriend who lives in London, so she’s been staying there a little bit, too. But she’s basically back! And that’s really nice. The 21 thing is definitely a big deal, but it’s not as massive as going away to college – at least not for me.”
Leslie has also opened up on what life is like at her female dominated home and she insists that her spouse Judd, 51, has not picked up any fashion or grooming tips from the women in his life and still “dresses like a 14-year-old boy”.
She shared: “He is resistant to most things. He still dresses like a 14-year-old boy and refuses to stop. We were in Paris a few years ago and went into this empty restaurant, trying to get a bite to eat before the airport. We walk up, and the hostess looks Judd up and down, gives him a dirty look, and says, ‘The restaurant is full,’ then turned and walked away. We can’t go places because of him – he is such a slob! For beauty stuff, he’s kind of open to buying something for blackheads, but then he never uses it. He doesn’t use any hair products or anything; he uses Irish Spring soap and then whatever leftover shampoo is in the shower. For a long time, he was using my purple shampoo for blonds and I don’t think he knew that it was toning his hair into a nice lavender hue!”

Stacey Dooley lost Glitterball Trophy hours after winning

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner Stacey Dooley lost her Glitterball Trophy hours after she won it.
The 31-year-old TV presenter and her professional partner Kevin Clifton were awarded the prestigious prize during Saturday’s (15.12.18) final of the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition, but TV doctor Dr Ranj – who was eliminated from the series in week seven – revealed thought he misplaced it after “sneaking a picture” with the trophy.
Speaking on The Telegraph’s ‘Talking Strictly’ podcast, Dr Ranj said: “Here’s a little secret … so after the after party, I may have snuck a picture with Stacey’s trophy.
“Then there was a message on the WhatsApp group yesterday saying, ‘Has anyone seen my trophy? I left it in the room with all the bags and now I can’t find it.’ ”
But Stacey managed to find the highly-coveted trophy before things got out of hand.
Dr Ranj added: “‘I think it was put away for safe keeping.”
On the podcast, the A&E doctor was asked: “You didn’t leave it in the cab did you?”
He quickly replied: “No … I was like, ‘How many drinks did I have?’.”
Stacey previously admitted she didn’t believe she could finish in first place because of her lower scores.
She said: “I wasn’t really entertaining the thought of winning. I didn’t think it was possible. It just shows that people at home are enjoying what we’re trying to do. You have to put the extra hours in if you’re not up to scratch with everyone else.”
Kevin added: “We didn’t think we had a chance. After a slightly tough year I’ve had such a good time. I’ve loved Strictly. Stacey has been a joy from day one.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Momoa won’t cut his hair, because he thinks his wife Lisa Bonet would “leave” him.
The 39-year-old actor has become known for his signature long locks, and has said he won’t be cutting his tresses short any time soon, because he’s worried his wife Lisa – with whom he has 11-year-old daughter Lola and 10-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf – would divorce him if he changed his look.
He said: “My wife would leave me if I cut my hair so I just don’t cut my hair. I am not cutting my hair for a while, I will tell you that much.”
The ‘Aquaman’ star also needs to keep his hair long whilst he continues to star as Arthur Curry and his aquatic alter-ego in the DC Extended Universe, so thinks Lisa is safe from a short-haired Jason “for the next two years”.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, he added: “I am going to be playing this guy for a while and I don’t want to wear a wig. I think we are good for the next two years.”
Jason and the 51-year-old actress – who married in 2017 – first met in 2005 at a jazz club in New York, and the hunk has previously spoken about how his hair has always been a key part of their love story.
Last year, he said: “We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks. I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, ‘I’m Lisa.’
“I turned around to my friend and I [pretended to scream]. I had f***ing fireworks going off inside, man.”
Prior to meeting the ‘Game of Thrones’ actor, Lisa was married to musician Lenny Kravitz from 1987 to 1993, and has 30-year-old daughter Zoe Kravitz with the rocker.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwen Stefani has praised Pharrell Williams for giving her “confidence”.
The 49-year-old singer has teamed up with Pharrell on a number of her biggest hits including ‘Hollaback Girl’ and ‘Wind It Up’, and she has now said that the producer always “believed in” her, and gave her the confidence to be herself through her music.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ alongside Pharrell, she said: “I feel like it was a cultural collision. At first, we were coming from such different worlds but yet we were so similar in so many ways. We had the same interests, just love for life and art and music. It was just an amazing mashup of people to be together.
“And I feel like he just always gave me this crazy confidence, and he believed in me in this way that I didn’t. I didn’t see myself the way that he saw me. So I don’t know … We just try crazy stuff all the time.”
The ‘Rich Girl’ singer is no stranger to heaping praise on those close to her, as she often gushes over her boyfriend Blake Shelton – whom she met following her split from former husband Gavin Rossdale, and when Blake had just separated from his ex-wife Miranda Lambert – and recently revealed she’s still on cloud nine when it comes to their romance, as she believes they’ll last “forever”.
When asked if she thinks her relationship with Blake will stand the test of time, Gwen said: “I hope so, yeah!”
And although their romance is still going strong, the ‘Cool’ singer – who has sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, four, with former spouse Gavin – doesn’t feel any “pressure” to tie the knot with Blake any time soon.
She said: “There is zero pressure … when there’s trauma, the way that we had trauma back in the day. Going through all these hard times, [you] get to a place where you find somebody that’s like your best friend, that you know you can depend on and trust and go through life – we’re just trying to be in the moment as much as we can.”

John Legend’s ‘beautiful’ Christmas gift plan

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend wants to buy Chrissy Teigen a “practical but beautiful” Christmas present.
The 39-year-old musician has said he always makes sure to give his wife Chrissy – with whom he has Luna, two, and Miles, seven months – something she can get use out of when it comes to buying Christmas presents, but also strives to find something “tasteful” for a touch of romance.
Speaking about his gifting choices, he said: “I like it to be practical, but also really beautiful and tasteful. Things she can use but are also fly.”
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker – who married Chrissy in 2013 – has already secured his present for the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ host this year, and says his Christmas duties are now done, as his wife is sorting out the gifts for their brood.
He added: “I have Chrissy’s present, and Miles won’t know the difference. Chrissy’s really been doing most of it! She’s been working on Luna’s stuff a lot.”
Although the famous couple will have their hands full with two tots this Christmas, John insists they still make time to “get dressed up and go on a date night” together as part of their festive traditions.
He said: “It’s fun to get dressed up and go on date night. She likes me in a nice, black suit with a white shirt and she’s happy. I like her in all variations, but I like sexy!”
Currently, John is out on his holiday tour which will see him play shows up until December 23, but he insists he will be home on Christmas Day (25.12.18) after performing at Kris Jenner’s Christmas party on December 24.
Speaking to People magazine, he said: “We’ll be home [for Christmas]. Our last show is the 23rd, I’ll do a little performance for Kris Jenner’s party on the 24th and then we’ll be home on the 25th!”

Remy Ma hospitalised with post-birth complications

OHMYGOSSIP — Remy Ma has reportedly been rushed back to hospital just days after giving birth.
The 38-year-old rapper gave birth to her first child with husband Papoose on Friday (14.12.18), but less than a week later, she has reportedly been taken back to hospital after suffering from excessive bleeding on Tuesday (18.12.18) night.
According to TMZ, Remy – who has an 18-year-old son, Jayson, from a previous relationship – needed emergency surgery for the post-birth complications, and sources close to the star claim that although she needed blood transfusions during the operation, the surgery was a success.
The publication reports that the ‘Wake Me Up’ hitmaker is “doing well”, and is expected to be released from hospital within the next few days.
Remy and Papoose – who has three children from a previous relationship – announced the birth of their child on social media over the weekend, and they couldn’t be happier with their new bundle of joy.
The ‘Shether’ rapper wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of a pink background emblazoned with the words ‘It’s a girl!’: “The Golden Child is here!!! Thank you @papoose for making me the happiest wife in the planet #BlackLove #RemAndPap #BabyMackie #ShesMADDDDcute (sic)”
Papoose, 40, shared the same image on his account as he thanked his wife for their daughter and vowed to try to be a “great” father.
He wrote: “I found a new love!!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Thank you Queen @remyma She is beautiful!! Wowwwwwww THE GOLDEN Child IS HERE!!! #thegoldenchild Gonna continue, working on me. So I can be a great father. Happy (sic)”
The ‘Alphabetical Slaughter’ rapper had previously taken to his own Instagram account to ask for prayers during his wife’s “tough labour”.
He wrote: “Tough labor… but my wife is still fighting through it. She’s a warrior! Keep us in your prayers! The #GoldenChild is on its way! (sic)”

Kelly Clarkson wants ‘tone deaf’ kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson hopes her children are “tone deaf”.
The 36-year-old singer has daughter River, four, and son Remy, two, with her husband Brandon Blackstock, and has admitted she doesn’t want them to pursue careers in music, as she hopes they’ll grow up to be “doctors” instead.
She said: “I seriously hope they are tone deaf. I hope they are teachers or doctors or something … It’s a hard industry.”
Kelly managed to coach 16-year-old Chevel Shephred to victory on US singing competition ‘The Voice’ after the teen was crowned the winner on Tuesday (18.12.18), and after seeing the young girl win the show, the ‘Piece by Piece’ singer is “afraid” of how she’d react if her children wanted to be singers too.
She added: “I get so excited and I’m afraid of what kind of mom I would be. I think I would be my mom … She would be like, ‘I have heard better but it was solid!'”
The ‘Because of You’ hitmaker also coached last year’s winner, 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli, and said she “warned” the youngster’s mother about how “horrible” some people can be to people in the public eye.
Speaking during a press conference after ‘The Voice’ final, she said: “I warned Brynn’s mom … I’m like, ‘Hold onto them! Hug them and tell them really nice things because people are mean.’ That’s horrible, but it is reality.”
Meanwhile, Kelly previously insisted her daughter was going to grow up to be a CEO one day, because she’s a “ballsy” and confident child.
She said earlier this year: “She will run a company one day because there’s no way she’s gonna work for anyone. She does not heed advice very well. She’s just very ballsy, which is awesome.
“I’m like, ‘Was that brave,’ or ‘Was that nice, was that kind?’ And she goes, ‘I’m not Wonder Woman.’ I’m like, ‘You are Wonder Woman,’ because she loves Wonder Woman … and she’s like, ‘I River. But I’m like Merida, I brave.’ She’s very cute, [but] she’s very manipulative because she’s three.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton plans on keeping her $2 million engagement ring, following her split from Chris Zylka.
The 37-year-old DJ and socialite broke off her engagement to actor Chris last month, and has now claimed that although the relationship is over, she’ll be keeping ahold of the 20-karat $2 million pear-shaped diamond sparkler that he proposed to her with.
Speaking during an appearance on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show, Paris said: “The person who we got it from got millions and millions of dollars of free publicity. I love how social media has basically become a new form of money. It’s pretty sick.”
And when asked by Jenny if she got to keep the ring, Paris added: “Yes. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”
The former ‘Simple Life’ star got engaged to the ‘Leftovers’ actor during a romantic ski trip to Aspen, Colorado, during the New Year’s weekend in January.
But after the romance ended last month, Paris isn’t rushing back into the dating scene as she’s too busy focusing on herself.
She said: “I’m amazing. I am busy being a boss-babe, running an empire. That is all I have time for. I barely have time for myself, let alone anything else. I am not even thinking about [dating] right now. I am literally so busy. I hardly have time to see my own family, let alone do that. I am so happy. I just love my life. My advice is to always be happy and feel good about yourself – because life is truly too short.”
Meanwhile, Paris previously admitted she thought her marriage to Chris was going to be her own version of a “Disney” happy ending.
She said: “I’m doing really good. I’m just really having my me time. I just feel that when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard. It was this whirlwind romance and I’ve always been obsessed with Disney stories and love stories, and I thought it was going to be my happy ending and I just realised after time that it wasn’t the right decision.”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas back in India for second wedding reception

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have returned to India to host a second wedding reception, over two weeks after they first tied the knot.
The couple married in two separate ceremonies – one Christian and one Hindu one – which both took place in Priyanka’s home country India at the beginning of the month, and then celebrated with a reception in Delhi two days after tying the knot.
And although the ‘Quanitco’ star, 36, and Nick, 26, had both returned to the US earlier this week, they’ve now travelled back to India for a second reception, which was held on Wednesday (19.12.18) at the JW Marriott in Mumbai.
The second wedding reception is said to be more personal than their initial one in Delhi – which was attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi – as it was only for close family and friends, as well as select members of the media.
In videos posted to social media, Priyanka thanked her guests for attending the reception, as she also thanked ‘Jealous’ hitmaker Nick for helping her start “an extremely special chapter” in her life.
She said: “I’m gonna take your attention for two seconds. It means so much to us that all of you came tonight. This has been an extremely special chapter in my life and I wanted my husband to meet all the special people who have contributed to it.
“So thank you very much being here, friends of my parents, my dad who I know is here. Thank you very much for coming and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight.”
Nick then also gave a speech, in which he joked that the reception was his “first show in India”.
He added: “This is my first show in India. Thank you all so very much for coming out.
“It wasn’t too far from here that I took [Priyanka’s mother] Madhu out to lunch and asked her if I could marry her daughter. So to be here tonight with all of you, the people who have helped shape who she has become means the world to me. To be embraced with such open arms it’s just unbelievable.”
According to the Times of India newspaper, the happy couple are set for a third reception on Thursday (20.12.18), which will reportedly be an opulent event, attended by the biggest stars in Bollywood.

Iain Glen: Game of Thrones producers are paranoid about spoilers

OHMYGOSSIP — Iain Glen says ‘Game of Thrones’ producers so “paranoid” about key details being leaked to the public, that the cast had to read scripts off of security tight iPads.
The 57-year-old actor plays Ser Jorah Mormont in the HBO fantasy drama series – which is based on the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ book series by George R.R. Martin – and has said that filming the show’s upcoming eighth and final season proved to be “a problem” for the cast, as they weren’t allowed to have any part of the script on paper, in case it fell into the wrong hands.
Iain said: “They’re absolutely paranoid now about anyone finding out anything about the series and spoiling it.
“We weren’t allowed a written word on a page. Everything was accessed through iPads with different security you had to get through to access it. Which caused a problem for the actors, I have to say.
“But we find a way, either on phones or with pads, or different ways for it to be available on set.”
The show’s final season begins airing in April 2019, and Iain says fans of the show are in for an “absolutely phenomenal” send off.
He added to BBC Radio 5 Live: “This season was the first season ever that we sat and read the entire arc of the story from beginning to end right through over the course of a day.
“Honestly, these six episodes are absolutely phenomenal. I mean they’re … the writers really really came up trumps … the way they pulled it all together was a real writing task.
“There were a lot of tears that day … and it’s been a season of that because it’s been a season of farewells and finishes.”
Iain’s comment echo those made by his cast mates over recent months, as Gwendoline Christie – who plays Brienne of Tarth – said fans would “need therapy” after watching the upcoming season.
She said: “You’re going to need therapy. I think just the show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help.”
Whilst Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, revealed “everything” from the costumes to the camera checks have been “more intense” than ever before.
She said: “[Camera] checks take longer, costumes are a bit better, hair and makeup a bit sharper – every choice, every conversation, every attitude, has this air of ‘this is it.’ Everything feels more intense.”

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May quit studio car show

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have quit studio car shows.
The ‘Grand Tour’ co-hosts – who previously co-presented ‘Top Gear’ for 13 years – have called time on presenting via the traditional format of such programmes, announcing the news after they completed filming on the third series of the motoring show.
Jeremy told The Sun newspaper: “There are only so many times you can watch a BMW go round the track – what more can you say? It’s got four wheels and a seat.
“It’s the end of an era.”
The 58-year-old TV presenter joked he is “too fat” to climb the show’s stage nowadays, but admitted he will “miss the banter” with the studio audience and his co-stars.
He added: “It’s a really sad day. I will miss the banter with each other and with the audience.
“But we’ve been doing that show for effectively 17 years – sitting around in studios, watching cars race around the track.
“We all agreed that we’ve been doing it a long time and everything eventually runs its course.
“Besides, I’m 58 and I’m too fat to be climbing on to the stage.”
However, the trio still have a two-year deal in place with Amazon for at least four special shows a year, and they are said to have a sizeable budget to work with.
Jeremy said: “Put it this way, Marvel will be jealous of our budgets.”
During their time on ‘Top Gear’ they filmed special episodes in Botswana and Vietnam, among other worldwide locations, and the ‘Grand Tour’ stars have set their sights on North Korea this time around.
Jeremy added: “You get to the point where it’s the specials when we’re out on the road in far flung places that we like doing the most.
“We did five in season three across the world in places like Mongolia and the US where we didn’t have the studio tent.”
But the ‘Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?’ presenter will take a break before the trio start making any specials.
He said: “I’m having a break so I’ll let you know when I have an idea.
“We are all still Amazon boys – that’s the key thing about all this. We love working with them.”
The third series of ‘The Grand Tour’ – which is estimated for have a budget of around £4 million per episode – will air on Amazon Prime next month.
The trio co-hosted ‘Top Gear’ from 2002 to 2015 but the BBC decided against renewing Jeremy’s contract following a dispute with a producer.
Richard and James also left the show, and they went on to front ‘The Grand Tour’ for Amazon Video, which made its debut on the streaming service in November 2016.

EastEnders’ Danny Dyer wants steamy Joan Collins scene

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer wants Dame Joan Collins to join ‘EastEnders’ – so their characters can enjoy “a roll about”.
The 41-year-old actor would love to see the 85-year-old acting legend appear in Albert Square and then for her character to get jiggy with his alter-ego Mick Carter, and the former ‘Dynasty’ actress thinks it would “be fun” to play out such a part.
Speaking on this Saturday’s (15.12.18) ‘Jonathan Ross Show’, he says: “I would love to give Joan a little shout in it [‘EastEnders’].”
Joan adds: “I’ve been in ‘Coronation Street’, I made an appearance. They’ve never asked me again.
“OK, I’ll come on, what could I play? A bar lady?”
Danny then quips: “No, me and you could have a roll about.”
She says: “That’d be fun, why not?”
Mick is soon to be released from prison and he may need a happier focus like Joan in his life after finding out his arch nemesis Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) has been making moves on his wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in his absence.
Speaking about Mick’s release, Danny says: “He is out and he is on the rampage. He’s got the right hump, Jon.
“He has been set up and not only that, [Stuart] has been sniffing around my old woman in it and wearing my clothes behind the bar, so I want some answers mate. It has wound me up a bit.
“It’s Christmas in Walford, someone is going over mate.”
While his character has been having a tough time, Danny is “very grateful” for the role.
He adds: “It is a great gig, I do love it there … It’s great running The Vic, I love the people there. I am very grateful for it.”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday at 10.05pm on ITV.
