Stephen Bear turns to God for guidance following love-rat rumours

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Bear is turning to God for guidance following speculation he has split up with Georgia Harrison.
The 28-year-old reality TV star has told his fans that he is going to see the Lord on Sunday (16.12.18) because he is “not a saint” and wants to be a “changed person”.
In a video posted on his Instagram Stories – in which he displayed an image of Jesus on his chest – he explained: “On a serious note… I’ve been going through it lately. I’ve come up with a plan.
“The thing is I’m not a saint, I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but you know what.
“But this Sunday, God I’m coming for you. Be ready for me. I’m going to be a changed person.”
The hunk started dating the ‘Love Island’ star while they were filming ‘The Challenge’ for MTV in America, but their relationship is said to have come to an end.
A source told The Sun Online: “It was over before it even began.”
Earlier this month, Georgia hinted she had split from Bear after he danced with other girls in videos on Instagram.
The svelte blonde shared a photo to her 815,000 followers on Instagram, wearing a leopard print jacket, and said: “A leopard never changes its spots.”
Bear previously dated Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, but they split 11 months into their romance.
He later sent her a note begging her to get back with him after he took responsibility for the demise of their relationship.
He wrote at the time: “Dear Charlotte , I really messed up , if I can rewind the clock back maybe I wouldn’t of done the things I did and say. Life’s about making mistakes . I’ve just been really sad recently and I need to get it off my chest . I no being with me isn’t easy and I will probably send you insane in the end and I really do care and still love you . It might be too late but all I can do is try. The New Years coming up and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you.(sic)”

Corrie’s Peter and Abi set for new year hook up

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow is to hook up with Abi Franklin.
The cobbles lothario – played by Chris Gascoyne – looks set to get down and dirty with the mechanic (Sally Carman) in the new year, but she is keen for more of a “full-blown relationship” than he wants.
A soap source told The Sun newspaper: “Abi seems to want a full-blown relationship but clearly Peter is just up for sex.
“It’ll play out in the new year, before Peter’s other big storyline which see his boat go up in flames.”
Peter’s bedroom scenes with Abi aren’t the only time he will be feeling hot in the new year – he is set to dice with death when his boat goes up in flames, putting his and son Simon Barlow’s (Alex Bain) lives in danger.
A source recently said: “There’s a massive fire on a boat on the canal and Simon is inside.
“Peter and Simon’s lives hang in the balance. It’s going to be a huge stunt. They’re planning massive pyrotechnics and special FX.”
While Peter looks set to survive the terrifying boat blaze, Chris recently admitted he would like to see his recovering alcoholic character drink himself to death when he exits the cobbles.
He said: “If they said to me that they were going to write Peter out or I told them that I was finished for good, he would have to drink himself to death.
“I don’t think it would be a very nice storyline, but it would be brilliant. Something tragic would happen and he falls off the wagon again and drinks himself into oblivion. I would like to do that.”

Dani Dyer blasts relationship gossip

OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Dyer has slammed claims she and Jack Fincham are “together for money”.
The 22-year-old beauty recently reconciled with her boyfriend following a brief split earlier this week but she’s dismissed suggestions they have only got back together for commercial reasons and insisted their love is genuine.
Jack shared a black and white photo of himself and Dani on Instagram with the caption: “Yo little guy.”
Dani replied: “Love you baby. oh wait wait maybe I shouldn’t say that because we together for money apparently??
“Yeah tbh I should get paid for picking up your pants…(sic)”
The ‘Love Island’ winner backtracked earlier this week on her announcement she and Jack had decided to “part ways” and blamed the statement on her just being a “normal girl” and finding it hard conducting a romance in the public eye.
She said: “Just want to put all comments to bed. All I can say is I’m still 22 trying to get my s**t together and grow into a woman but doing it in the public eye is sometimes hard and scary but arguments are arguments and I love him.
“I can only please people who want to be pleased and I am having to learn that opinions are just opinions. Hope everyone can understand that i am just a normal girl (sic)”.
She had revealed on her Instagram Stories last week to reveal she and Jack had split.
She wrote: “Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible six months, and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but we’ve sadly come to the realisation that it’s not meant to be long term. We both plan to stay friends. I hope you’ll all understand. Love Dani x. (sic)”
However, just days later Dani’s dad, ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer, claimed they were still together.
He said: “I just want to put something to bed. Dani hasn’t split up with Jack, that’s all b******s, that is.
“They’ve had a row. They’ve had a row, she’s got a bit emotional and I think she has whacked that [message] up and immediately regretted it. You know what women are like.
“I’m just saying she got a little bit irate, screaming and shouting, the ultimate way to punish him maybe. I don’t know what was going on but I can tell you now, they’re sweet.
“They’re sweet as. They’ve had a little argument as we all do, we all have tear ups.
“Don’t declare nothing to the world, I’ve told her this. That was my bit of fatherly advice. It is okay, it is all sweet.”

Moya Brady ‘thrilled’ about Hollyoaks serial killer

OHMYGOSSIP — Moya Brady was “absolutely thrilled” to find out her ‘Hollyoaks’ character was going to be a serial killer.
The 56-year-old actress plays evil Breda McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, and she couldn’t wait to get her teeth into such “complex acting territory” when show bosses revealed her alter-ego would start bumping people off.
She said: “I was absolutely thrilled! This storyline is such a fantastic opportunity to explore such complex territory in acting.”
Despite taking on the role of a killer, Moya insists she is “not as respectable” as her alter-ego, and admits the pair have many resemblances apart from all the deaths Breda is responsible for.
When asked how she is different from her character, she replied: “Not that different … other than the murdering! I’m untidier and not as respectable.”
Last month, Breda bumped off Russ Owen (Stuart Manning) and flashback scenes revealed she was also responsible for the deaths of Carl Costello (Paul Opacic) and Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer), making her a serial killer.
While Moya believes Breda has a “twinge” of regret about her crimes, she doesn’t look likely to stop murdering anytime soon.
She added: “Perhaps a twinge here and there, but she is clear about her mission to rid Hollyoaks of bad dads, ensuring a village full of happy, fulfilled children, raised by strong independent mummies.
“She has a vision, and she is committed to that vision.
“Breda is a very humble woman, and God is making all of those decisions. She believes she is just following orders.”

Henry Cavill ‘absolutely not’ done playing Superman, says Jason Momoa

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Cavill is “absolutely not” finished playing Superman.
That’s according to his pal and ‘Aquaman’ star Jason Momoa, who has claimed the 35-year-old actor isn’t hanging up his cape just yet because he “loves the character”.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: “I just talked to Henry, he’s absolutely not [done playing Superman].
“He loves the character. He’s not. 100 percent.
“It’s absolutely [not going to happen].”
Momoa’s comments come after reports in September suggested Cavill might be departing the role – which he has played in movies ‘Man of Steel’, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Justice League’ – after Warner Bros. and his representatives reportedly fell out over his cameo in forthcoming sci-fi film ‘Shazam!’.
A source said at the time: “There’s a recognition that some parts of the previous movies didn’t work … Superman is like James Bond, and after a certain run you have to look at new actors.”
However, a statement from Warner Bros. tried to play down any final decisions made about Cavill’s future as the superhero.
They said: “While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged.”
Cavill then posted a bizarre Instagram video in response to the reports.
In a brief video clip, the actor – who is seen sporting a T-shirt that reads ‘Krypton Lifting Team’ – was seen holding up a Superman figurine as ‘The Blue Danube’ plays in the background.
He captioned the video: “Today was exciting #Superman (sic)”
Cavill revealed earlier this year he had a storyline in mind for ‘Man of Steel 2’ and had held talks with the studio about a follow-up movie.
He said: “I’m having a lot of conversations, behind the scenes, with certain people and we will hopefully be having conversations with other people who are also behind the scenes to make things start happening.
“It is very much in my desire to do a ‘Man of Steel 2’, a direct sequel to ‘Man of Steel’, and there is a whole bunch of Superman story that I want to tell. There is a whole style of Superman’s character that I’m very keen to tell and I’m looking forward to the opportunity.”

Emma Watson shares polaroid of Little Women cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson has shared a polaroid picture from the set of ‘Little Women’.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star gave a glimpse of what fans can expect from the upcoming adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel by sharing the photo of the sisters, Laurie (Timothee Chalamet) and director Greta Gerwig in old fashioned attire, including bowler hats.
Alongside the picture, which features Greta, Saorise Ronan (Jo), Florence Pugh (Amy), Eliza Scanlen (Beth), and Timothée, she wrote on Instagram: “I could never love anyone as I love my sisters.” – Louisa May Alcott, @littlewomenofficial ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From left: Meg March, Greta Gerwig (director), Jo March, Amy March, Beth March and Laurie (Theodore Laurence) (sic)”
Florence recently admitted she “can’t believe” she’s been cast in the remake.
The ‘Little Drummer Girl’ actress admitted it is a “special treat” to get to work with Emma, Saiorse , Timothee and Meryl Streep (Aunt March).
She said: “Those are women I’ve been looking up to since I was tiny.
“I can’t believe that I’m there. I’m so aware that that is a very special treat.
“I’m pretty amazed that Greta knew who I was.”
Emma stepped up to the role after Emma Stone was forced to pull out because of promotional obligations to ‘The Favourite’.
The movie – which is also being written by Greta – tells the story of four sisters as they transition from childhood to womanhood.
The novel has been adapted for the big screen several time before, including the 1994 version directed by Gillian Armstrong.
That movie featured Winona Ryder as the main character, Josephine ‘Jo’ March, an ambitious young woman, who longs to become a successful author.
The all-star cast also included Gabriel Byrne, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes, Christian Bale and Susan Sarandon.
The upcoming Greta-directed adaptation sees the filmmaker reunite with Saiorse and Timothee, after Greta directed the pair in her directorial debut ‘Lady Bird’.

Timothee Chalamet ‘leaned away’ from simple addict portrayal

OHMYGOSSIP — Timothee Chalamet wanted to “lean away” from playing a drug addict in ‘Beautiful Boy’.
The 22-year-old actor stars opposite Steve Carell as real life father and son Nicholas and David Sheff in the drama, and while the movie documents how they dealt with his alter ego’s substance abuse issues, he insisted the film is about much more than that.
In an interview with the Guardian newspaper, he said: “For me, it goes back to meeting Nick and David and getting the sense that this wasn’t just a biopic, and that just making it human was the most galvanizing imperative.
“I realised I should lean away from playing a drug addict and rather play a human who’s in a very difficult set of circumstances.”
Timothee worries that some elements of pop culture have led to a “glorification” of drug use, though he thinks some music genres offer a true “lens into disillusionment” felt by young people.
When asked whether he could enjoy the use of drugs in comedy after his role in the film, he said: “It’s tough because I’m young and love pop culture and certainly, what I say next, I’m not an authority on in any way, and I don’t want to be cavalier about it, and I don’t have a solution to it, but just to observe it as a phenomenon.
“There’s a scene in ‘Beautiful Boy’ that references Nirvana and there is equally a nihilisation of, not even necessarily to addiction…particularly now it’s like a longer conversation or something, but like with SoundCloud rap that’s a good example.
“It’s a real lens into a lot of the disillusionment of young people feel, not only in America but all over the world, and how they’re dealing with it by numbing, by with opiates and Xanax, and there’s a glorification of it that I’m not saying anything about, but I’m just saying it’s there.”

Philippa Boyens was ‘worried’ fans wouldn’t get Mortal Engines

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Mortal Engines’ screenwriter Philippa Boyens “worried” if fans would “understand” the flick.
The Academy Award-winning producer has confessed that the blockbuster “was not an easy day at the office” because the project took a lot of time to get just right.
Speaking to Collider about the adaptation process, Philippa said: “Any work of such vast imagination is not an easy day at the office, it’s a puzzle and you’ve got to make the pieces work and you can’t overwhelm the story just because of the great visuals and vice versa, and the main thing I worried about was if people would understand this world. It’s little things like that of how you’re going to get people into the world.”
Philippa worked on the movie adaptation of the sci-fi fantasy book that sees the protagonist of the story, Tom Natsworthy – played by Robert Sheehan – join forces with a young woman (Hera Hilmer) from an area known as the Outlands, to discover a mystery that could change the world they live in.
And Philippa is no stranger to the adaptation of fantasy novels as the screenwriter worked on ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’, ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’, and ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ in 2012, 2013, and 2014 respectively.
She added: “These books first came to us about ten or twelve years ago actually, and they ended up being shelved because of the rights to The Hobbit becoming free, so we ended up doing that. When it came time to do this and finally think ‘Do we want do it? Are we gonna do it? If we don’t do it we’ve got to do it now.’ What was interesting was, it felt like it was the right time to do it, and it was like fate had played a hand somehow. We never set out to write films that are issue spaced or sending some kind of message, so to speak because we wrote the scripts three years ago. What you find in the process of making films is they become more and more relevant naturally because they’re being made in that moment and there become moments where you want to reflect what’s going on in the world. The whole notion that mankind can destroy itself, I mean that is a theme that’s run through in the history of mankind forever.”

Dave Lee Roth hints at Van Halen stage return

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Lee Roth has hinted Van Halen will return to the stage in 2019.
The ‘Jump’ hitmakers have been inactive since completing their US tour in 2015, but they look set to perform again nearly four years later and he sparked speculation the band could perform at New York’s Yankee Stadium next summer.
The 64-year-old lead singer said: “When we come back through town in the summertime and do the original thing, maybe somewhere sporting, maybe with somebody famous.
“I’ll make sure we get you all tickets so you can see what we do for gainful employment. My mom still wonders.
“Next time my rock band will be playing the same place that the Yankees play. OK?”
When asked if the group – who are also made up of Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen – will be performing at Yankee Stadium, he replied: “Yeah, but I can’t … If I say something on tape here and everybody goes, ‘Oh, this leaked…’
“But, the band will be … I can’t say.”
The singer also revealed he has been in talks with rockers Metallica and Guns N’ Roses, among others, about performing in a show.
He said: “Well, I don’t know how far this privacy actually goes. But the band is solvent.
“And I can say that I contacted colleagues about being part of the show – Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Jason Aldean, the Foo Fighters, Church, and Stapleton. And they all said that, if everything happens, they would certainly be involved.”
Quizzed about whether Van Halen would be playing a festival, Dave told Vulture: “No, all I talked about was a phone call.”
Van Halen haven’t played a show since they completed their US tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, in October 2015.
In the meantime, Dave has set up a skin care company called Ink The Original, which is designed to preserve, protect and highlight tattoos.

Ariana Grande unveils imagine

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has unveiled her new song ‘imagine’.
The 25-year-old singer dreams of the perfect romance on her new track, which is the second single off her upcoming new album.
She sings on the track: “Click, click, click and post / Drip-drip-dripped in gold / Quick, quick, quick, let’s go / Kiss me and take off your clothes / Imagine a world like that / Imagine a world like that / We go like up ’til I’m ‘sleep on your chest / Love how my face fits so good in your neck / Why can’t you imagine a world like that? / Imagine a world.”
And it is not clear which ex-boyfriend Ariana is referring to, but she “knew he was perfect after the first kiss”.
She shares: “Knew you were perfect after the first kiss / Took a deep breath like, ‘Ooh’ / Feels like forever, baby, I never thought that it would be you … / Baby, direct it, name in the credits / Like the movies do.”
Ariana previously explained how “failed relationships” will be the focus of ‘imagine’, and it will be about the “denial” she has faced in her life, while her recent track ‘thank u, next’ was about “acceptance”.
She wrote: “A lot of this album mourns failed yet important beautiful relationships in my life (as well as celebrates growth / exploring new independence) but for those of you asking about imagine: i would say if ‘thank u, next’ = acceptance… ‘imagine’ = denial. hope that makes sense …
“Kind of like… pretending it never ended. denial. but i look forward to you hearing it and having your own experience with it. You may take away something totally different and specific to your life! love u. (sic)”

Jennifer Lopez felt she had to be quiet

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez felt she “had to be quiet” when she started out in music.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker – who has also made a transition to acting as of late – feels it is a much more “empowering time” for women now than it was in the past.
She said: “When I first started in my career, it was almost as if you had to be quiet … if you did speak out, it was like, ‘Oh, I’m sorry, are you speaking?’ That inner eye-roll I had going on was real and it was part of the time [we were in]. Now, [women] are kind of in this moment when we realise that our voices are being heard and we are speaking up more. We are saying that we accept this, and won’t accept that, and that we want to be treated equally. It is a much more empowering time.”
And Jennifer thinks coming from the Bronx helped her navigate fame.
She added to Vogue magazine: “I always said that when I went out to Hollywood, it was the fact that I was from the Bronx that helped me. It was that I was so different from everyone out there that separated me, and it became my biggest strength. That is why throughout my career, I am always Jenny from the Block, I’m real. It is important to me, it is who I am, it is that blood that pumps through your veins, it makes you hungry to remember that you had nothing, and then to want more. I definitely have had to pull out the Bronx on people at the times when they are not correct and not being respectful in the way that they should [be] to a young lady.”

EastEnders’ Stuart to take ‘sadistic pleasure’ in Mick hunt

OHMYGOSSIP — EastEnders’ Stuart Highway will take “sadistic pleasure” in being hunted down by Mick Carter.
Queen Vic landlord Mick – played by Danny Dyer – will be out for revenge after learning the calculated character (Ricky Champ) has been up to no good with his wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) while he has been behind bars.
But with Stuart so desperate to be like Mick, he quite enjoys having him so nearby while he is attempting to wreak revenge.
Ricky said: “What I will tease is that there is a bit of sadistic pleasure in Stuart being scared of Mick.
“For most of the year, we’ve been playing this obsession that Stuart has with Mick – he almost wants to become him, which is so weird. I’ve even been studying Danny Dyer’s mannerisms to try and copy him as Mick to try and literally step in his shoes. That has been really fun to play.
“But I think when all this comes out and Mick’s eyes are firmly on Stuart for revenge, there is a bit of a sadistic pleasure in there for Stuart because it’s about Mick wanting to hang around him – even if it is to kill him.”
Stuart’s creepy ways came to a head in last night’s (13.12.18) dramatic two-hander involving just Ricky and Kellie – and the former ‘Game of Thrones’ star admits it was “daunting” filming an episode featuring just two characters.
He added to Digital Spy: “It was great. It was such a challenge. When I first saw the script, it just said ‘full cast list, Stuart and Linda’ – that was daunting enough. But then we had a 58-page dialogue and 17 scenes, just the two of us. It was daunting, but ultimately a brilliant experience.
“Stuart was very nervous in this episode – he is about to accomplish what he has wanted to do all along and there is a nervousness because of that.”

Blake Harrison to star in Death in Paradise

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Harrison has landed a role in ‘Death in Paradise’.
The ‘Inbetweeners’ actor will portray Theo Roberts, a reformed convict and zookeeper, who falls under suspicion in the drama series, and though he had a great time working in Guadeloupe with the likes of Ardal O’Hanlan (DI Jack Mooney), he had problems with some of his animal co-stars.
He said: “All of the cast and crew were fantastic to work with, except for one scene-stealing tortoise.”
Before Blake can be seen in the BBC drama in January, he will be reuniting with his ‘Inbetweeners’ castmates Simon Bird, James Buckley and Joe Thomas for a two-hour special to mark 10 years of the student sitcom.
The show – which will be the first time the four stars have appeared on the small screen together since the final episode ‘The Camping Trip’ in 2010 – will celebrate all three TV series and both movies with behind-the-scenes footage, unheard stories and contributions from celebrity fans.
It will also rank the show’s funniest ever moments, including categories like Best Sex Scene and Best Ever Moment.
Tom Beck, Channel 4’s head of live events and commissioning editor for entertainment, said: “Will, Jay, Simon and Neil spent years failing to sneak into the best parties, so I’m very pleased to throw one that they’re definitely invited to.
“I just hope Will brings his Mum.”
Meanwhile, co-executive producer Will Macdonald has praised the show’s enduring popularity as the show looks to remember why it was so beloved.
He added: “The love for ‘The Inbetweeners’ is huge, the kind of love that Jay would boast he’s had many times – big celebrities, millions of viewers and loving fans from across the globe.
“And it’s so exciting the boys will be back together to feel that love from all those people and enjoy it first-hand. What could possibly go wrong?”

Kieron Richardson fears Hollyoaks axe

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieron Richardson is “really scared” ‘Hollyoaks’ bosses might kill his character off.
The 32-year-old actor has portrayed Ste Hay in the Channel 4 soap for 13 years, but he fears his alter-ego’s time in the village might be up soon when he joins a right-wing extremist group.
He said: “It is really scary for me as it’s the biggest storyline I’ve ever had. But now I don’t know if there will be redemption or if this will be the last thing Ste ever does.
“Ste has done so much now but it would be really sad if it came to an end. It was my 13-year anniversary last month. But I’m not stupid. I know that all good things have to come to an end.”
Kieron admits the plot, which will see newcomer Jonny – played by Ray Quinn – attempt to convince Ste to join the group, is his “darkest” storyline yet.
And he has been horrified by some of the real-life examples he has read about while researching the hard-hitting plot.
He added to The Sun Online: “I always presumed it was going to be getting dark because of all the research we’ve been doing and what we’ve been looking at.
“It’s the most researched storyline I’ve ever worked on. The stories we’ve listened to from people in these groups, the stuff they do is absolutely horrible.
“I know Ste is going to have to do stuff and say stuff that is completely horrific.
“Right now we’re at the beginning and we’re still in the grooming process. Sinead has no idea what is going on. But she is one of his best mates and at some point she will have a say about his behaviour.”
With their characters set to get friendly on-screen, Ray recently admitted he has become good pals with Kieron off-screen, too.
He said: “Having worked closely with Kieron Richardson for the last few months, he’s become a good friend.
“We have a great relationship, considering the time we’ve known one another. He’s a talented guy and a true gent who has supported me and helped me feel settled into the village with ease.”

Awkwafina is guilty of ‘night time shopping’

OHMYGOSSIP — Awkwafina is a “night online shopper”.
The 29-year-old actress-and-rapper – whose real name is Nora Lum – admitted she can’t resist splashing out online when she’s had a few drinks in the evening and is often shocked when her purchases turn up because she can’t remember buying them.
Speaking to PEOPLE at US online fashion retailer Shopbop’s, ‘Let’s… Play… Holiday!’ party in New York City, Awkwafina said: “I’m one of the night online shoppers, who might have drank a little too much Remy and went on Shopbop and spent $8,000 and then you wake up and you’re like, ‘What’s that?! What are those shoes?’ No, but seriously, I’m definitely a shopper, and I love Shopbop.”
The ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress went on to praise designer Sandy Liang for her “carefree” approach to fashion.
She added: “I’m wearing Sandy Liang tonight, and I know Sandy very well. I’ve been a huge fan of her for long time now.
“When I got the options [for Shopbop party] I saw Sandy in there, and there was no way I wasn’t going to wear her. She’s amazing. The way that she approaches fashion, she does in a way that’s so carefree and so spontaneous and it makes sense. I can relate to that for sure.”
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star also confessed that celebrity stylist, Avo Yermagyan, has “transformed” her life even though he doesn’t agree with all of her fashion choices.
She added: “My stylist is amazing, and he’s transformed my life. He disagrees with a lot of stuff that I wear in my normal day-to-day life like slides with socks with a dress.
“But that’s like what I do — you got to stay true to you too.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt has made his relationship with Katherine Schwarzenegger Instagram official.
The 39-year-old actor has been romancing the author, the daughter of Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, since June, and things seem to be going from strength to strength for the pair as the Hollywood hunk shared a touching tribute to his girlfriend on the social media app on her 29th birthday (13.12.18).
Chris admitted that he has “cherished” being with the brunette beauty and is “thankful” for the “love and care” she brings into his life.
Alongside an adorable collage containing fun pictures of the pair, including one of Chris planting a kiss on Katherine’s cheek, he wrote: “Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care. (sic)”
Despite the relationship getting “serious”, sources recently claimed Chris isn’t likely to be getting down on one knee any time soon.
An insider said: “[They are in a] serious relationship and everything is going well. However, Chris just finalised his divorce from Anna [Faris] a couple months ago, and he’s happy with just dating Katherine for now.
“The couple has a lot of fun together and is fully involved in one another’s life. [They are] in a committed relationship. There just isn’t a rush to take it to the next step right now. Chris is enjoying the dating process.”
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star – who has six-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris – is even said to have won over Katherine’s father Arnold, after the three met up with Arnold’s girlfriend Heather for brunch over the weekend.
One source said: “Chris and Katherine met up with Arnold and his girlfriend Heather for Sunday breakfast at the FIG restaurant. Arnold seemed happy that Chris and Katherine joined him.”
Whilst another insider added: “A lot of laughter and storytelling. Arnold seemed very pleased to spend time with Chris. It was obvious that they got along and enjoyed getting to know each other. They had eggs, breakfast meats and fruit. Chris settled the check.”
