Robert Zemeckis says Back To The Future 4 ‘can’t be done’

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Zemeckis thinks ‘Back To The Future’ fans know a fourth film “can’t be done”.
The director behind the hugely popular science fiction trilogy – which starred Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd as unlikely time travelling duo Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown – has spoken out after a recent poll saw the franchise top the list of movies people want to see more of.
Speaking to Yahoo, he said: “I think what the poll is saying… they asked a specific question, so I guess they felt it was important to spend money to poll the world, and ask this question, but don’t you think we could all have just given them the same answer?
“It confirms what we all know, but what I think the fans are really saying is that we really like this movie and if it were possible I’d like more of it. But they understand that it can’t be done.”
Zemeckis added he was “adamantly against” the idea of another film in the series almost 30 years after the final part hit the big screen.
Meanwhile, leading man Fox previously admitted the fate of the ‘Back To The Future’ franchise is not in his hands as he pointed out that the film’s co-creator, co-writer and co-producer Bob Gale is the “gatekeeper”.
It means that he decides whether or not to make another movie, but thus far Gale has repeatedly insisted that he has no interest in reviving the series, while both he and Zemeckis have claimed they’ll do everything they can to block another movie.
On the other hand, actor Thomas Wilson – who starred in the films as bully Biff Tannen – believes the time has come to make another film.
He said during a panel discussion: “Basically, I think America is saying, ‘C’mon, they’ve wrecked every other franchise with bad sequels, why not this one?’ C’mon, we would watch it until it sucks.”

Christopher Bailey will receive a CBE for his work at Burberry

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher Bailey is set to receive a CBE for his work at Burberry.
The 47-year-old designer is set to become a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire – an accolade which recognizes the achievements of people across the United Kingdom – for his services to fashion in the Queen’s New Year’s Honour’s list
The former president and creative officer of the fashion house joined Burberry in 2001 and served 17-years with the company before stepping down last year.
This will mark Christopher’s second royal honor, after he was awarded an MBE, or Master of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire back in 2009.
Ricardo Tisci has since stepped up to fill the place Christopher left when he moved on from the label, and Burberry’s chief executive officer Marco Gobbetti has worked with the designer on his past collections with Givenchy, and said he will “reinforce” the predecessor’s ambitions for the company.
He said: “Riccardo is one of the most talented designers of our time. His designs have an elegance that is contemporary and his skill in blending streetwear with high fashion is highly relevant to today’s luxury consumer.
“Riccardo’s creative vision will reinforce the ambitions we have for Burberry and position the brand firmly in luxury.”
Meanwhile, Christopher unveiled his final collection for the company in February last year and said he was “really excited” to see what the future held for the company.
He said: “I’m really excited to see what happens for the future of Burberry. And I’m tremendously proud to be handing over a role that has given me unbelievable joy.”
The designer’s last show was dedicated to a number of organisations’ supporting the LGBTQ community and featured a collection of bright colours and diversity.

Lady Gaga launches website for fans to sign-up for beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga’s highly-anticipated beauty line has launched it’s own website.
The 32-year-old singer secured the cosmetic line’s trademark Haus Beauty back in February under her company Ate My Heart Inc, and now the star has launched her website HausBeauty.com for fans to sign-up to receive more news about the release date and products.
The cosmetics line will sell a broad range of beauty products, including foundation, eyeliners, shadows and lipsticks, as well as less popular products like beauty milks, according to The Blast.
Gaga is keen to broaden her business interests and the ‘Joanne’ hitmaker has recently been trying to launch a line of wines inspired by her family’s Italian restaurant.
While she has always attracted headlines for her outrageous fashion sense during her career, the New York-born star – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – previously admitted that her style is a reflection of her mood.
Speaking in 2015, the chart-topping singer shared: “There’s always a dichotomy within me. If you see me dressing really out there, I tend to be self-deprecating inside.
“When I dress like a lady, I tend to be feeling very wild and confident. That sounds bizarre, but I get a lot of s**t done with that blonde hair.”
At the time, Gaga claimed that while she hadn’t changed much as an individual, she’s become more aware of how to pursue her ambitions.
She said: “I haven’t changed. It’s just that I’m almost 30. I’m learning how to function effectively in society.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Davina McCall won’t stop posting bikini pictures, despite her body-shamers.
The 51-year-old television presenter recently came under fire for appearing too thin after posting a picture on Instagram in a bikini, however the former ‘Big brother’ host has admitted that the incident has only encouraged her to share more revealing snaps.
In an interview with the Daily Mail’s You magazine, she said: “OK, you think I’m too thin? I’m going to post a lot of pictures of myself in bikinis. That’s what I’m like. Tell me not to do something and I’m going to do it.”
The ‘Jump’ host confessed that she ignores body-shamers, and those who criticize her personal choices only inspire her to make more bold decisions.
She joked: “I’m going to get a massive tattoo when I’m 60. Or, you know, I’m going to get a boob job when I’m 75! If you tell me I can’t, I will.
“I’m going to wear a bikini when I’m 90! I’m going to do an Ironman [the world’s hardest one-day triathlon] when I’m 70!
“If you think that I can’t do it, I’m going to show you that I can – and I’m going to do it in a bikini.”
It’s not just bikini’s which make Davina feel confident, and the star wears a matching underwear set every single day because it makes her feel “sassy” – although she insisted she chooses the lingerie for herself and not to “impress” anybody else.
She said: “Obviously matching underwear, that’s a thing I always do…Every single day. It’s beautiful, sexy underwear. All different colours, but always matching.
“Because it makes me feel sassy. And I’m not doing it to impress anybody. I’m doing it for me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Batchelor has unveiled her incredible four stone weight loss.
The 34-year-old television personality – who gave birth to her first child Florence with Dane Goodson earlier this year – has been sharing untouched photos of her body after childbirth and documenting her attempts to regain her hour glass figure on Instagram thanks to “yoga and healthy eating”.
Posting on Instagram, Casey said: “Some people have said they don’t believe I’ve lost 4 stone so thought I’d share this. Neither of these pictures are very flattering tbh – but they are the truth. Chris Tarrant snubbed latest Millionaire series

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Tarrant doesn’t watch ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’.
The 72-year-old TV veteran felt “disloyal” choosing to watch ‘Luther’ on New Year’s Day (01.01.19) instead of the new series of the quiz programme – which he hosted from 1998 to 2014 – but admits he also wouldn’t want to host any more of the episodes.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, he said: “I watched ‘Luther’ actually. I’m terribly sorry. I feel disloyal.
“I did it [‘Millionaire’] for 15 years, about 700 shows.
“I loved it – I had a fantastic time but I don’t want to do any more, so good luck.”
Chris previously admitted he would’ve “politely turned down” an offer to return to ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ – which is now hosted by Jeremy Clarkson – had he been asked.
His spokesperson previously said: “Chris thought the programme had run its course.
“He wasn’t approached but if he was, he would have politely turned it down. Chris is delighted it’s back and wishes it well.”
Jeremy recently admitted people have told him he has been “nicer” to the quiz players in the latest series of the show.
The 58-year-old star said: “I’m told I’ve been nicer to the contestants.
“But last year there were some very stupid contestants who didn’t warrant any niceness.
“This time they’ve been, by and large with one or two exceptions, sparky and on it and bright and deserving of a place in the chair.”
Jeremy is best known for co-presenting the BBC motoring show ‘Top Gear’ from October 2002 to March 2015.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena referenced his split from Nikki Bella as he made his return to WWE television.
The ‘Bumblebee’ actor was back on ‘Smackdown Live’ on Tuesday night (01.01.19) and while he was talking in character, he joked about real-life events, including his break from wrestling and the end of his relationship with his former fiancee.
Addressing the crowd, he said: “Why am I here? I don’t yet have a reason!
“But the great thing about ‘Smackdown Live’ is that in 30 seconds, they’re gonna play somebody’s music, and some man’s gonna walk down here and try to tell me that I’m an old, broken down, part-time Hollywood wannabe that should just get a haircut and leave WWE faster than Nikki Bella left me.”
Former women’s champion Becky Lynch stepped into the ring to face Cena, and she also took aim at his break-up with a quip of her own.
She teased: “It’s time for someone new to step up, step in and fill your shoes, and there’s only one person for that job and I think these people would agree that that person is me.
“If you have a problem with that, Nikki Bella won’t be the only woman to drop you this year.”
Cena was back on screen with his new look, after growing out his hair a little during a six-month stint in China.
But Cena recently claimed his fans have not been happy with the change of style.
He said: “I’ve been playing a character on WWE for 15 years now and I’ve looked the exact same. I left to go to China for six months and I came back with [this haircut].
“Literally, it’s caused a tidal wave of emotional upheaval. I’ve literally ruined people’s childhoods. Every day, I know you do mean tweets, every day it’s a barrage of, ‘Change back, you look ridiculous. You ruined my life.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello has “never felt more alive”.
The 21-year-old singer has taken to her Instagram account to reflect on 2018, saying that the lack of certainty in her life is both “terrifying” and hugely exciting.
The ‘Havana’ hitmaker – who previously starred in the girl group Fifth Harmony – wrote on the photo-sharing website: “New Year’s Eve has always been my favorite holiday- even more than Christmas- there’s something so crazy about thinking of all the moments and emotions and people you met and memories you made at the end of the year, and knowing you couldn’t have predicted ANY of it. Realizing that something unexpected happening in a moment changed your day, changed the course of the week, changed your life for that year, and so on…. every single day really is a blank page; and that thought is both terrifying and exactly what it means to be alive. Looking back on this year, I’ve never felt more alive, never felt the experience of being a human more intensely. I’m exhausted. LOL. But that’s how I want it. 2018. (sic)”
Despite having to contend with a jam-packed schedule, Camila is loving life at the moment, and is excited about what the future might hold.
She wrote: “I’ve never been more in love with life than I was this year. It’s messy, it’s beautiful, it’s hard, it’s unpredictable, it’s full of hope and dreams and discovering who you are, it’s so damn precious. Kanye West pledges to perform in his Make America Great Again cap

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has pledged to always perform while wearing his Make America Great Again cap.
The 41-year-old rapper – who previously sported the red baseball cap emblazoned with the slogan of US president Donald Trump during their meeting in the Oval Office – has insisted that he’ll only perform if he’s wearing the controversial accessory.
Taking to Twitter, the ‘I Love it’ hitmaker declared: “From now on I’m performing with my mutherf***** hat on (sic)”
The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper – who is married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian West – went on to explain why the President’s mantra is so meaningful to him.
He wrote: “One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black. (sic)”
This isn’t the first time the outspoken musician has used the social media platform to express his controversial ideas, with Kanye previously ranting about “mind control” after he reactivated his account in October last year.
Ending his self-imposed exile from the micro-blogging website, he posted a series of behind-the-scenes videos in Uganda, where he was recording a new album, and then launched into a rant about mind control.
In one of the videos, Kanye – who described himself as having a Mensa-level IQ – said: “You know, when people try to influence you through social media and try to tell you what to do or if you post something that’s positive on Instagram and it gets taken down if it’s not part of a bigger agenda, you know, that’s like mind control.
“That’s the echo chamber. That’s trying to control you based off of incentivising you and based off of you getting enough likes, and that’s the poison that’s happening with social media.”

EastEnders to get first gay bar

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘EastEnders’ looks set to get its first gay bar.
Kate Oates, senior executive producer of ‘EastEnders’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘Holby City’, has teased the BBC One soap’s fans they can expect to see more LGBTQ characters grace Walford with their presence in the coming year, and the characters will also have a “super cool precinct” to hang out in.
She said: “I’m really interested in bringing some more LGBTQ characters in. Maybe we’ll have a new precinct for them as well?
“We’re looking at opening a new gay bar on the Square. It will be a super cool precinct where gay and straight characters can all just hang out and loads of stories can cross. It will be something really exciting, really fun and visual.
“It should be something really exciting, really fun, really visual and feel really true to multi-cultural London.”
Kate teased one of the big storylines of 2019 will be a “long-running saga” involving the Mitchells, which will come off the back of Sharon Mitchell’s (Letitia Dean) affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), which has been dubbed “Sheanu” by fans of the show.
She said: “We’ve got a really long-running saga with the Mitchell family. It all comes from the Sheanu story. But it’s really exciting, because everybody involved all have really strong agency in it.
“There’s lots of twists and turns.”
Things look set to come crashing down for patriarch and Walford hardman Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) but not before he gets close to his employee Keanu, without knowing about Sheanu.
Speaking in a Q&A video on EastEnders’ official Twitter account, Kate added: “What I like about it is Phil is going to find himself in a place where he’s kind of complacent about life.
“Things seem to be falling into place, he’s really close to Sharon, so he thinks, and he becomes increasingly close to Keanu.
“Keanu is a really good guy, he’s a hard worker, has a good moral compass. So Phil starts to become close to him.”
The soap recently confirmed a number of new additions – including Karen Taylor’s (Lorraine Stanley) daughter Chantelle – and the return of Danielle Harold as Lola Pearce, and Kate admitted there are “a couple more secret returnees” on the cards.

Jacqueline Jossa slams internet troll

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa has slammed a troll who called her a “frumpy dumpling”.
The 26-year-old actress has hit back at an internet user who snubbed a picture of her on Instagram which she captioned “chanelling J-Lo this year”, and which saw her posing in a pair of polka dot tights with a black bodysuit.
The user wrote: “Omg how photoshopped is that!! Pls looks nothing like her what so ever!! @danosborneofficial bet you wish she did look like this tho instead of a frumpy dumplin with slap head. (sic)”
The former ‘EastEnders’ star then took to her Instagram Stories to highlight the comment.
Circling the harsh words, Jacqueline replied: “Starting the new year off positively I see Jen. Ps I do look like this, even when I hoover the dog hairs off the floor and baby sick all over me… (sic)”
The actress – who played Lauren Branning on the BBC soap from 2010 to 2018 – has had a whirlwind year after temporarily splitting from her husband Dan Osbourne just 11 months after marrying and having their second child, Mia.
Jacqueline has admitted their break up “needed to happen” to help their relationship, but she is disappointed it was so public.
She told Fabulous magazine: “Breaking up 100 per cent needed to happen for us, I just wish it hadn’t been so public, and I’m sad that it happened the way it did.”
During the end of her pregnancy and brief split, Dan signed up to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ where he was away for four weeks and in a house with Love Island’s Gabby Allen – whom he had been romantically linked to – although they both denied such allegations. And after Dan left ‘CBB’, he and Jacqueline reunited.

Liam Gallaghe thinks vocals suffer without booze or cigarettes

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher thinks cutting out booze and smoking makes him sound worse when he sings.
The ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ star revealed he is trying to behave by trying to regulate the two vices, but the former Oasis rocker insisted he doesn’t like the way it changes his recognisable gravelly vocals.
He told Sirius XM: “I know for a fact when I have not had cigarettes and not drank and have been behaving myself I sound a bit square.
“And I do not like that. I like to sound a bit rough and have a bit of character.”
However Liam, 46, explained he isn’t going straight edge, even if he’s calming down a little bit as time goes on.
He joked: “I do behave myself a little, but not too much. I don’t want to sound like Aled Jones or Michael Bublé.”
Meanwhile, the star – whose follow-up to chart topping solo debut album ‘As You Were’ will be released by September – was recently blasted by brother Noel, 51, when he claimed Liam’s calls for an Oasis comeback were “for his ego”.
He said: “Liam wants to do it for his ego – he never gave a shit about the fans… He wouldn’t have walked off stage 25 times in his career if he gave a s*** about the fans.”
Noel added that his sibling’s jibes towards his wife Sara MacDonald on Twitter – which have seen the ‘Songbird’ songwriter call his sister-in-law a “witch” – have ruined the chances of there ever being a reunion.
He insisted: “That thing about my kids and my wife. No way. If I had 50 quid (pounds) left in my pocket I’d rather go busking. No way, I can’t do it.”

Chance The Rapper saved man’s life

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance The Rapper saved a man’s life by pulling him from a burning car.
The 25-year-old hip hop star took to social media and opened up about his own heroics as he reflected on 2018 and his own most memorable moments from the past year.
He revealed: “Ay so I never told this to the world but my friends can merch. I saved a persons by myself on Easter Sunday this year omw to church.
“Basically I was driving to church dolo, about to go south on lakeshore [drive] and another car drives into the wall in front of me goin like 90 mph comin off the exit.
“I was the only person out there when it first happened and his car was on fire so I had to break his window take off his seatbelt let his seat back and pull a whole grown man out the car unconscious. (sic)”
Initially, Chance – whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett – admitted he wondered if he was getting pranked by reality show ‘Punk’d’ before quickly accepting it wasn’t a stunt.
He added: “I was only by myself at first, then two other men helped me pull folks out the front after I got the doors open. But def was getting that ‘am I getting punk’d’ at first. (sic)”
While the story never broke at the time, Chance has revealed all now – and took to Twitter to confirm that the man survived the crash.
He wrote: “A kid DM’d me saying it was his uncle and that he lived!! (sic)”

Shane Richie wears high heels on school run

OHMYGOSSIP — Shane Richie has been wearing high heels to do the school run to prepare for his ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’ role.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor will take on the part of dress hire shop owner Hugo Battersby, who transforms into drag queen Loco Chanel by night, in the West End musical, and he has been getting to grips with the towering shoes while he takes out the bins, and transports his kids to school.
Shane – who has daughters Romani-Skye, seven, and Lolita, 10, and son Mackenzie, 12, with his wife Christie Goddard, as well as elder children Shane Jr, 30, and Jake, 26, with ex Coleen Nolan – said: “The heels I’ve got for ‘Everyone’s Talking About Jamie’ are an absolute nightmare.
“I’ve been wearing them on the school run, the bins and everything.”
The 54-year-old actor – who plays Alfie Moon in the BBC One soap – has also been getting to grips with the character’s clothes, and hopes he can become the “most beautiful drag queen around”.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I’m trying to get used to the clothes, too.
“I just want to be the most beautiful drag queen around.”
Shane recently admitted he was shocked to get a call from his agent telling him the show’s producer Nica Burns had offered him the part.
The actor explained: “He said, ‘You’ll think I’m drunk or on drugs.’ ”
The soap star asked wife Christie to dig out some of her old gowns so he can get into the part.
He told her: “I need you to start looking for old dresses for me. I’m looking to be the most gorgeous drag queen in the West End. I have got the legs for it.”
Shane made a surprise return to ‘EastEnders’ in late November, and played a huge part in the show’s Christmas episodes as his alter-ego Alfie was left for dead in the Slaters’ living room after being pushed down the stairs, only for him to sneak out of the house with his baby Cherry.

Betty Driver and her sister saw a UFO

OHMYGOSSIP — Betty Driver and her sister had a “frightening” close encounter with a UFO.
Freda Driver – the younger sister of the late ‘Coronation Street’ star, who died in 2011 aged 91 – has revealed the siblings spotted a strange “ball of light” while growing up in West Didsbury, Manchester, in March 1977, but decide to keep their sighting a secret.
Freda told UFO expert John Hanson about the odd encounter, saying: “I was sitting in the lounge at the house where we lived at the time, one stormy evening, and happened to glance through the window, when I saw this large circular yellow ‘ball of light’ hovering above some trees, apparently unaffected by the gale force wind blowing outside.
“I watched it, noting it had a slightly misty halo around it, and thought to myself it’s watching me as well!
“After about 15 minutes, I decided to summon up the courage and venture outside, asking my sister, Betty, to come with me.
“When we opened the door, accompanied by the three boxer dogs, the wind was so strong we had trouble standing.
“As soon as the dogs saw the UFO they ran back inside and hid under the table, at which stage we began to feel frightened and went back inside the house.
“After five mins or so, it shot up into the sky and disappeared, followed by the wind dropping dramatically.”
She went on to claim that they saw another unusual object close to their car while driving near Ellesmere Port in 1978.
According to John’s book ‘Haunted Skies: The Encyclopaedia of British UFOs’, Freda said: “I stopped the car to have a closer look at this object, and was surprised to see it had also stopped, motionless in the air, as if somehow watching us.
“It stayed with us for about 20 miles and was clearly seen by other motorists, some of whom stopped their cars.”
Betty appeared in more than 2,800 episodes of ‘Coronation Street’ as Betty Turpin.

John Krasinski thought it was ‘thrilling’ writing films with Matt Damon

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski found it “thrilling” working with Matt Damon.
The 39-year-old actor and producer began collaborating with the 48-year-old star when they met through Krasinski’s wife Emily Blunt, and just months after meeting they developed the Oscar winning screenplay ‘Manchester By The Sea’.
In an interview with The Playlist, he opened up about their working relationship and said: “The first two ideas and my first two scripts ever were ‘Manchester By The Sea’ which I came up together with Matt and the second idea became ‘Promised Land’.
“We gave ‘Manchester By The Sea’ to Kenneth Lonergan to develop and that, that all happened within just months of meeting each other, which was thrilling.”
The pair met when John’s wife Blunt starred alongside Damon in ‘The The Adjustment Bureau’ however the actor declared that despite never meeting the actor, he had suspicions they would become friends.
He explained: “It was simple; he did a movie with my wife. I had never met him, but I’m from Boston like him, and I think everybody in Boston somewhere has the ‘Good Will Hunting’ poster tattooed on their back, so I admired what he and Ben [Affleck] did with that story. It had such a major impact on me.
“To finally meet him was something that I was nervous about it. Then Emily worked with him, and we met there, and it was an amazing experience for me because we became friends very quickly.
“We had a lot in common, and I’d say a month or so after we became friends he said, ‘you write, right?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ Matt said, ‘Do you have any screenplay ideas?’.”
