Katie Price slams backstabbers in Instagram rant

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has announced she is “no longer nice” because of “backstabbers” in a cryptic Instagram post.
The 40-year-old former star – who is mother to Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and Bunny, four – posted a series of candid rants on the social media platform on Friday afternoon (04.01.19), which have since been deleted aside from one, revealing she has “changed” because she doesn’t want to get “used or walked over” by people anymore.
In the first post, Katie wrote: “You know what? Yes, I’ve changed. I’m not as nice as I used to be, because I don’t to get used or walked over. I don’t trust everyone and tell them my secrets, because behind every fake smile there’s a backstabber. I distance myself from people because in the end, they’re only going to leave. I have changed because I have realised that I’m only the person I can depend on.”
Another post was captioned “this will never change” and read: “I’m the girl who is always there for people when they need a friend. I’m also the girl who faces many issues alone, but will still do anything to see someone else smile.”
Katie captioned her third post “Bring it on 2019” and claimed that she felt “wiser” because she has “learned” from her past mistakes.
It read: “I’m stronger because I had to be, I’m smarter because of my mistakes, happier because of the sadness I’ve known, and now wiser because I learned.”
The former glamour model also hinted that in life you can’t please everyone and her fans concern should just be to make money and take care of “your family”.
Katie added: “We’re all ugly to someone, fake to someone, stuck-up to someone, ain’t s**t to someone, a loser to someone, a b***h to someone. But who the f**k cares … Make your money, pay your bills, take care of you and your family, and don’t worry about what someone else thinks.”
The mum-of-five finished her cryptic posts with a positive note for the year ahead.
She wrote: “Work so hard that one day your signature will be called an autograph.”

Stacey Solomon was ‘happy’ when Joe Swash got robbed of his ‘lairy’ shirts

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon has confessed she was “happy” when her boyfriend Joe Swash got robbed of the loud shirts he bought to wear for his presenting job on ‘I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp’ – because she hated them.
Back in October, the 36-year-old TV star had his car broken into whilst he was spending the day go-karting with his 11-year-old son Harry and the thieves made off with his passport and the new wardrobe he had purchased for the TV job in Australia on the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ spin-off show.
Stacey, 29, has now admitted she was secretly pleased that her man became a victim of crime because she hated all the “out there” shirts Joe had bought.
But the former ‘X Factor’ star’s joy was short-lived as Joe was gifted a selection of replacement garments by the company who sold the originals to him as a goodwill gesture before he flew Down Under.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday (04.01.18), Stacey – who was crowned Queen of the Jungle on the ITV reality series back in 2010 – said: “His style hasn’t really changed this past 10 years, so for the jungle series which has just gone he said to me, ‘What shall I go with?’ And I said, ‘Why don’t you jazz it up a bit this year, not the same v necks with shorts.’ And he was like, ‘OK, I’m going to go for it.’
“He came back after shopping with, literally, the jazziest, lairy, out there shirts you’ve ever seen in your life. But bless him, a few days after he bought the shirts – and I didn’t know what to say because he’d really made an effort, he’d gone for it and I couldn’t say anything – all his shirts got stolen from the back of his car by somebody.
“I genuinely have never been so happy to have been robbed, so I thought ‘Maybe he’ll just take his regular wardrobe out there.’ All of a sudden he runs into the front room with an email from the company he bought the clothes from saying, ‘Don’t worry we’ll send you all new ones.’ And then he wore them all series last year, bless him.”
Stacey and former ‘EastEnders’ actor Joe started dating in January 2016 after originally meeting on I’m A Celebrity…’ in 2010. The couple moved in together last year taking their relationship to the next level.

Britney Spears set to take an indefinite break from work

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is to take an indefinite break from work to focus on her father’s recovery from a life-threatening illness.
The 37-year-old singer has put her Britney: Domination run at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas on hold until further notice in order to spend time with her father.
Britney – who has kids Jayden, 12, and Sean, 13 – explained: “I am dedicating my focus and energy to care for my family. We have a very special relationship and I want to be with my family at this time just like they have always been there for me.”
The ‘Baby One More Time’ hitmaker thanked her fans for their continued support and apologised for any inconvenience she may have caused them.
She said: “Thank you to all my fans for your continued love and support during this time. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and I look forward to the time when I can be back on stage performing for all of you.”
Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, became seriously ill two months ago, when his colon spontaneously ruptured and he was required to undergo surgery.
He subsequently spent the next 28 days in the hospital, and members of the Spears family have thanked the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital for saving his life.
Jamie is said to have endured a complicated post-operative period, but he is now regaining his strength and is expected to eventually make a full recovery.
Britney has decided to put her work on hold in order to care for her father, and the chart-topping singer has reassured fans that they can apply for ticket refunds.

Penelope Cruz is reluctant to work with Javier Bardem all the time

OHMYGOSSIP — Penelope Cruz is wary about working with her husband Javier Bardem too often.
The Academy Award-winning actress has revealed she’s reluctant to appear alongside Javier, 49, in too many films, saying that the prospect of them working together every year is a “very scary” thought.
Penelope – who appears alongside her husband in the psychological thriller ‘Everybody Knows’ – explained: “Obviously we can’t choose parts just for logistical reasons, like ‘Oh let’s work together because it’s easier.’ No. In fact, it’s not something we want to do that often, partly out of desire to protect what we have.
“On the one hand, it’s easier because you know that person, he knows you, and the way you work is very similar.
“On the other hand, the idea of it happening every year is very scary. I think it’s better for it to just be once in a while, even though they’ve been very good experiences.”
Meanwhile, Penelope – who has kids Leo, seven, and Luna, five, with Javier – admitted motherhood has brought her more happiness than anything else in her life.
The 44-year-old actress confessed that having children with Javier has transformed her outlook on life, likening it to a “revolution”.
Penelope – who married Javier in 2010 – told Marie Claire magazine’s February issue: “It’s the thing that make me the happiest.
“But there are a lot of things that have surprised me about it. It’s like a revolution inside you – a very animal-like one.
“The whole world looks different. You’ll never think of yourself first again, and I think that’s a very good thing. It happens in a second.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Schumer has joked being pregnant is causing her to miss weed.
The 37-year-old stand-up comedian – who is currently pregnant with her first child with husband Chris Fischer – made a tongue-in-cheek remark about how she much she finds herself craving the psychoactive drug during a TV interview.
Appearing on ‘The Today Show’, Amy quipped: “I was thinking about how I miss weed.”
Amy – who has starred in films such as ‘Trainwreck’ and ‘I Feel Pretty’ – also revealed that in spite of the pressures she faces, she tries to live her without any regrets.
Asked whether she has a personal mantra, Amy replied: “Honestly, I just think, ‘We’re all gonna die, so just live every day.'”
In November, meanwhile, Amy confessed she was finding her pregnancy to be “tough”.
The Hollywood star has been struggling with hyperemesis gravidarum, which is more commonly known as extreme morning sickness, throughout her pregnancy and she appealed for her fans to send her cute pictures to brighten up her day.
Amy shared a photo of her dog on Instagram and wrote: “The last few days have been tough. I’m grateful as hell and know it’s temporary but tough just the same.
“Please if you don’t mind. Post pics of your kids and tag me #amyschumer.
“My friends sending me pics and vids of their kids is making me feel so much better. Much love accepting dog photos too. (sic)”
The stand-up star also revealed she’s been making a documentary about her pregnancy.
She continued: “Shots by @marcusrussellprice we are shooting a doc of me these past few months leading up to a special Im filming and you will see that I’m strugglin right now. But I’m so grateful and excited to be a mom. (sic)”

Penelope Cruz: Time’s Up movement can’t be about ‘more division’

OHMYGOSSIP — Penelope Cruz insists the Time’s Up movement can’t be about “more division”.
The award-winning actress has stressed that her support for the campaign, which fights against sexual harassment, extends well beyond the boundaries of Hollywood, saying it’s important to recognise that women across all industries are forced to deal with the threat of abuse and harassment.
Speaking to the February issue of Marie Claire magazine, Penelope explained: “A teacher or a doctor, they’re not going to get a microphone and somebody asking them: ‘What’s your situation? Are you suffering these things? So, it’s important to me to make clear that I’m not just talking about our industry.
“It affects women in all industries and every single country, and I speak for them, the ones that are never going to be asked that question. It’s good to remember that men can victims of this too. This can’t be about more division. If we don’t do this together, it’s useless.”
Penelope, 44, previously claimed that the Hollywood sex scandal has changed the culture of the movie business.
The actress – who is married to fellow star Javier Bardem – said that the differences have been really easy to identify.
Penelope explained: “I think the fact that all these things came into the light changed a lot of things.
“I noticed differences, for example, in the kind of questions we get asked in interviews. Before you would be in a press conference, and only the women would be asked very rude questions or superficial questions. People are more careful now. It’s symbolic, but it reflects people are being aware of treating each other with more respect.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Colman says kissing Rachel Weisz is like winning “the lottery”.
The 44-year-old actress – who stars alongside Rachel in the historical movie ‘The Favourite’ – has revealed that even though she doesn’t typically enjoy shooting sex scenes, she didn’t have any qualms about locking lips with Rachel.
Olivia – who plays the role of Queen Anne in the Yorgos Lanthimos-directed movie – told the BBC: “I tend to avoid sex scenes as I get embarrassed. We had two weeks of rehearsals
“We couldn’t be embarrassed in front of each other as we’d rolled on the floor with each other, eaten together, shared everything and become genuinely good friends
“So when we had to do this, it was like ‘come on’, snogging is fine, snogging Rachel Weisz is like you’ve won the lottery!”
Queen Anne is said to be Britain’s only bisexual monarch.
But Olivia found shooting intimate scenes with Emma Stone, another of her co-stars, to be a bit more awkward.
She shared: “The other bit, being (pleasured) by Emma, we really struggled with not giggling because there’s also a camera crew.”
In December, Olivia revealed she found gaining weight for her role in ‘The Favourite’ to be “quite fun”.
The actress put on over two stone for the part – and it was a challenge that she relished.
Olivia said: “I had to put on a lot of weight for it, so that was quite fun.
“She was very big and he [director Yorgos Lanthimos] wanted to see that on camera … and I didn’t want to use prosthetics, so I spent a few months eating, which was enjoyable, but then became quite depressing. Because it goes on so easily but, gosh, it doesn’t come off as easily!
“I ended up putting on about two-and-a-half stone. There was no technique.”

Bradley Cooper feared ‘failing miserably’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper was worried his directorial debut would “fail miserably”.
The 43-year-old actor moved behind the camera for the first time to helm ‘A Star Is Born’, in which he also starred, and Bradley is thrilled that his efforts have been so warmly received by fans and critics.
Bradley – whose film has been nominated for multiple awards, including Best Motion Picture – Drama at the Golden Globes – shared: “I was just hoping that I wouldn’t fail miserably.
“It’s vulnerable, you know, writing, co-writing, telling a story and directing it. I mean I had no idea what was going to happen. I just knew that I had to try. So, the fact that it has been well received, I just wanna savour it.”
Bradley teamed up with pop star Lady Gaga on the movie, and he’s revealed he would be keen to turn the film into a Broadway show.
Asked about the possibility, he told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Yeah, that would be a great idea. I mean, we have the music!”
Meanwhile, Gaga – who played Ally Maine, a nightclub singer-songwriter, in the movie – admitted to being impressed by Bradley’s ability to juggle two jobs at once.
The chart-topping star also praised the way in which Bradley approached the issue of addiction in the film.
She recalled: “We’re having this extremely emotional, awful conversation with each other and – at the same time – you have to completely trust your director.
“In a moment where I’m almost untrusting of him and angry with him and insulted by him, I’m also, in the back of my mind, in the space of comfort, in the space of love.
“What was very special about that scene, for me anyways, was the themes of alcoholism and the theme of co-dependency and addiction – that is something that has affected me in my life. To share that with him was very, very special to me. He really honoured that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea says moving house and finishing her new album is triggering her anxiety.
The 28-year-old rap star – who has revealed via Twitter that she’s feeling particularly anxious at the moment – is undecided as to whether her trepidation is something she should feel concerned by, or whether it’s something she ought to embrace.
Writing on the micro-blogging platform, Iggy explained: “Moving into a new house and finishing my album all in the same month is giving me anxiety.
But; the good kind? Sorta. (sic)”
More flippantly, Iggy revealed that one thing she isn’t concerned about is falling in high-heels, saying that her “cankles” will always protect her.
She quipped: “All my life I’ve never been scared to fall in heels because I know I have cankles & you can’t break me. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Iggy revealed in 2018 that she’d signed a new record deal, which has given her greater freedom over her career.
The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker discussed the issue on her Twitter account, saying she’s “excited” about her future.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lili Reinhart has ended her Twitter hiatus by slamming online trolls.
The 22-year-old actress – who is best-known for her starring role on ‘Riverdale’ – has decided to terminate her three-week break from the micro-blogging platform in order to hit back at her critics.
Lili wrote: “At the end of the day, if you go online to attack people who you don’t know … you are only making it brutally apparent how insecure and unhappy you are.
“Misery loves company. Which is why hate grows. And people find happiness in hating or criticizing the same things.
“So think of how you’re presenting yourself as a human being when you choose to do so. (sic)”
Lili subsequently reached out to her fans via Twitter, thanking them for their supportive messages.
She said: “Also, just a general thank you to everyone who is so kind and loving to me. I see you. I see your messages. It makes my heart happy. Thank you for your love. [love heart emoji] (sic)”
Lili originally announced news of her Twitter hiatus on December 16.

Lady Gaga named among Golden Globes presenters

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga has been added to the list of presenters for the upcoming Golden Globes.
The 32-year-old star has been named among the second wave of presenters – which also includes the likes of Bradley Cooper, Emily Blunt, Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone – for the awards ceremony on Sunday (06.01.19).
Gaga and Bradley are both also nominated for their performances in ‘A Star Is Born’, while Emily has been nominated for her performance in ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.
Rachel and Emma have been given a nod each for the historical drama movie ‘The Favourite’.
Elsewhere, Antonio Banderas, Kristen Bell, Steve Carell and Olivia Colman, who is also nominated for ‘The Favourite’, have been named among the presenters for the upcoming awards show.
Other big-name stars set for presenting duties at The Beverly Hilton hotel include Taron Egerton, Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman, Lucy Liu, Julianne Moore, Maya Rudolph, Chris Pine, Amy Poehler, and Gina Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, the original wave of confirmed presenters included Gary Oldman and Saoirse Ronan.
Gary, 60, was crowned Best Actor last year for his outstanding performance as Winston Churchill in ‘Darkest Hour’, and Saoirse took home Best Actress for ‘Lady Bird’.
Chadwick Boseman, Octavia Spencer, Taraji P Henson and Allison Janney will be tasked with dishing out prizes at the prestigious ceremony, too.
Sam Rockwell and Jessica Chastain – who has been nominated five times before, winning Best Actress in 2013 for ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ – will also take on presenting duties.
Sam, 50, is nominated for the Supporting Actor accolade for a second time for his portrayal of George W Bush in ‘Vice’, after winning the same gong last year for ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’.

Rosario Dawson says tragedy has changed her perspective

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosario Dawson thinks a series of tragic events have changed her outlook on life.
The 39-year-old actress has suffered a number of heart-breaking moments over recent years, and Rosario believes her anguish has helped her to develop a new perspective.
She shared: “Things have been rough, especially over the last couple of years.
“My cousin passed away in 2017 and she was only 26 years old. There was definitely a period of time, especially in many aspects of life, where I recognised that I’ve lost my gratitude and that I maybe was focusing more on things that I was critical of than the things that I was grateful for.”
The ‘Luke Cage’ actress said she’s now determined to make the most of her time with her friends and family, including her daughter Lola.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “When my cousin died at 26, it really put a lot in perspective.
“My grandma died just before her 76th birthday, and I think that for the past seven years that put a real dark cloud over my head because that’s just so young. But when my cousin died at 26, it was like, ‘If I make it to 76 that would be a real gift.’ It’s so interesting how quickly your perspective can change.”
Rosario said that in light of the tragedies that her family has experienced, she’s eager to make the most of her own opportunities.
She explained: “There’s really something to be said when you lose someone at such a young age.
“No matter what, I have already been on the planet over a dozen years than she ever will. And do I really want to sum that up with time that I have been down?
“I just want to make sure that I am taking advantage of pushing myself and not just sliding into the next day, slopping through it and be one of those people who just look forward to [the time off during] the holidays.”

Hulk Hogan to return to WWE Raw to honour Gene Okerlund

OHMYGOSSIP — Hulk Hogan is set to make a return to ‘WWE Raw’ to celebrate the life of his long-time friend ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund.
The 65-year-old star hasn’t appeared on ‘Raw’ since he was suspended by the WWE in 2015 after using a series of racial slurs in a recorded conversation, but he’s poised to reappear on the show following the death of Okerlund, who passed away on Wednesday (02.01.19).
The iconic duo were close friends for decades and Okerlund’s backstage interviews and on-screen chemistry with Hogan helped to establish him as a global wrestling star.
As a result, Hogan is set to appear on the next episode of ‘Raw’ on Monday night (07.01.19) as he honours his good friend.
Okerlund – who died aged 76 – passed away one year after he was last seen on TV.
In a statement, WWE said: “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, the most recognisable interviewer in sports-entertainment history, has passed away at age 76.”
He first joined WWE in 1984 and became a staple of its TV programming through his entertaining skits with the likes of Hogan, ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage and the Ultimate Warrior.
Okerlund played a huge part in the company’s expansion around the world when Vince McMahon signed him up after his time in the American Wrestling Alliance, and he went on to host shows like ‘Tuesday Night Titans’, ‘Wrestling Challenge’ and ‘Prime Time Wrestling’.
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 by Hogan, who responded to news of his death with a simple Twitter post.
He wrote: “Mean Gene I love you my brother HH (sic)”

Danny DeVito to star in Jumanji 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny DeVito is set to star in ‘Jumanji 2’.
The 74-year-old actor has been lined up for a role in the sequel to Sony’s 2017 movie ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, which was in itself a sequel to the 1995 movie ‘Jumanji’, which starred the late Robin Williams and was based on the 1981 children’s book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg.
News of DeVito’s casting, which was first reported by Variety magazine, follows the recent addition of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star Awkwafina, who will be joining a star-studded cast of returning faces from the 2017 flick, with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan all reprising their roles.
Speaking about the casting choice, Johnson told Variety: “The magic of ‘Jumanji’ is who becomes who. And the idea of Danny DeVito joining our cast was too irresistible and something we knew we wanted to deliver to our audience this upcoming Christmas. Dwanta Claus loves everyone.”
Plot details for the new movie are not yet known, but the original book and 1995 movie both told the story of a magical board game in which wild jungle animals came into the real world.
In ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, that concept was updated by making the game into a video game and having four teens transported into its world, where the kids then transformed into avatars portrayed by Johnson, Black, Hart and Gillan.
As of the time of writing, both DeVito and Awkwafina’s roles are not known to the public, but sources recently claimed the 29-year-old actress was set to have a “key” and “significant” part.
Directed, written, and produced by Jake Kasdan – who also worked on ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ – the sequel will be co-written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, and co-produced by Matt Tolmach and Johnson’s Seven Bucks.

Casey Batchelor no longer needs breast reduction

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Batchelor no longer needs a breast reduction after dropping five dress sizes in six months.
The 34-year-old model piled on the pounds while pregnant with daughter Florence, who was born in May, after regularly indulging in packets of chocolate biscuits and Krispy Kreme doughnuts on a daily basis, but after slimming down her breasts have decreased to 34DD, meaning she has stopped getting backache.
She said: “I haven’t been a DD since I was 12. But I’ve noticed a huge difference – I feel much lighter and have stopped getting backache.
“And the big bonus is now I don’t need to have the breast reduction I thought was my only option after having Florence.”
Casey reduced the size of her natural breasts in 2014 from a 34GG to a 34EE, and they increased to a H-cup after her pregnancy.
As a result, the former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star thought she might have to undergo another reduction, but she has managed to slim down thanks to a 1,200 calories-a-day diet and fat-burning yoga routines.
Speaking about her new regime, she said: “The food is amazing and I couldn’t believe I was able to eat things like spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and still lose weight.
“I knew it was important to have a balanced diet because I needed to fuel up as a new mum.
“Eating well made me feel so much healthier too and I have much more energy now.
“My focus was always on improving my health and my fitness, though.”
Casey has been getting support from her businessman boyfriend Dane Goodson, who has also been joining in with her yoga routines.
She added to Closer magazine: “Dane has been so supportive of me.
“I even get him involved with the yoga – he enjoys it.
“Being a mum is amazing and we are both so happy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lynn Spears has thanked fans for their “prayers” following the news of her father’s “life-threatening” health condition.
The 27-year-old actress – who is the younger sister of Britney Spears – took to her Instagram Story on Friday (04.01.19) to send her thanks to her fans after their outpouring of support for her father, Jamie Spears, who almost died when his colon ruptured two months ago.
Jamie Lynn wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to everyone who reached out to our family, and for all of your prayers.
“All of you have been there for us through so much, and we truly appreciate each of you!!
“Love y’all bunches! (sic)”
The former ‘Zoey 101’ star made the comments after her older sister, ‘Toxic’ hitmaker Britney Spears, took to Twitter to confirm she’d be cancelling her Las Vegas ‘Domination’ residency – which was due to launch at the Park Theater at Park MGM in February – in order to support her family.
She wrote: “I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say. I will not be performing my new show ‘Domination’. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart.
“However, it’s important to always put your family first… and that’s the decision I had to make. A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.”
Britney, 37, also thanked her fans for their good wishes.
She added: “Thank you to all my fans for your continued love and support during this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I look forward to the time when I can be back on stage performing for all of you.”
