Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings dropping next week

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande’s next single ‘7 Rings’ will be released next Friday (18.01.19).
The 25-year-old singer previously took to Twitter to share bloopers from her recent music video for hit single ‘thank u, next’, but just before the video was released, she sneakily revealed the title for her next release.
When one fan asked her what her next single would be, Ariana simply replied: “it’s 7 rings (sic)”
And on Thursday (10.01.19), she took to social media again to reveal the release date and artwork.
She captioned the cover featuring a baby pink wall with the title graffitied on it, “1.18.”, and added seven of the diamond ring emojis, which represent the friendship rings she gave to her girlfriends.
The singer had previously spoken about the rings in the song, when she replied to a now-deleted tweet from a fan in which she listed who the seven pieces of jewellery belong to.
She wrote: “me, vic, courtney, alexa, tayla, njomza, kaydence (and my mom and nonna so technically nine but they got theirs after song was done) (sic)”
And then when asked who had the idea for the song, the ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker insinuated that the track was written after her break-up from fiancée Pete Davidson, as she said the inspiration came after a “pretty rough day” in New York.
She said: “well …………. ’twas a pretty rough day in nyc. my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘b***h, this gotta be a song lol’. so we wrote it that afternoon. (sic)”
Ariana could be set to perform the new track when she takes to the stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April this year, as she was recently announced as one of the headline acts.
The ‘God is a Woman’ singer, Tame Impala, and Childish Gambino will all perform twice at the annual music extravaganza, which is held over two weekends, between April 12 and April 14, and April 19 and April 21 in Indio, California.

Danny Dyer discovers French royal relative

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has found out he’s related to another king.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor – who discovered two years ago he is a direct descendant of England’s King Edward III – can now add French royalty to his growing list of connections.
As revealed in new BBC1 show ‘Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family’, the star’s 26th great grandfather was King Louis IX, who washed lepers, fed the poor and – according to the history books – hated swearing.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “One royal link was unbelievable but finding another was more than anyone could have imagined — including him. Suffice to say it quickly went to his head and he thinks he’s genuinely part of the aristocracy now.”
The upcoming show – which will air on January 23 – follows his 2016 appearance on ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, which revealed he was related to former kings of England, Edward III and William The Conqueror.
When the programme was announced last year, Danny said: “I’m still in shock at the fact that I’m related to such important people. I’ve had a ball getting to know them. It was a nutty experience.”
Danny will head back 800 years in time to live how some of his ancestors did, which will include him eating sheep’s tongue, and learning how to hunt.
BBC history commissioner Simon Young is hoping Danny’s show will “inject fun” into the subject of royal history.
He said: “Danny is just an incredible talent and he has an amazing history in his family tree. What better way to get people to look at and understand that royal history than through his eyes?
“It injects fun and I think we need that.”
After discovering his royal connections, Danny – who plays pub landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap – then joked he would challenge Queen Elizabeth for the top spot in Buckingham Palace.
He said: “If I iron out about 150 people, yeah I’ll be f***ing King. If Trump can run America I can be f***ing king surely?”

Loose Women ladies will judge Dancing on Ice this week

OHMYGOSSIP — Saira Khan’s ‘Loose Women’ co-hosts Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and Andrea McLean will be taking over the ‘Dancing on Ice’ judging panel this week.
The 48-year-old television presenter – who is currently competing on the hit ITV show – will be joined by her fellow panellists as they oust the current judges on this Sunday’s show (13.01.19).
A source told the Daily Mirror: “She wants to pay homage to her day job, so the Loose Women are taking over the judge’s desk.”
The regular ‘Dancing on Ice’ panel is made up of Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo and head coach Karen Barber, alongside skating supremes Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Saira also confessed that while her ‘Loose Women’ co-stars have always been super supportive of her, those who have been on it before have warned her that the experience will not be easy.
Opening up about if her pals have been supportive, Saira – who is partnered by Mark Hanretty on the show – previously said: “They are, but they have been telling me too many truths!
“Andrea told me about her broken ribs, Nadia said it was the worst thing ever and Coleen did alright, so it’s like, ‘Thanks girls, that’s very helpful’.
“But of course, it’s a sisterhood; they want me to do well.”
The brunette beauty also stated that skating on the show has boosted her libido and made her seek intimacy with her husband.
She previously revealed: “All this skating is making me feel horny! I go home to my husband and say, ‘I think we need to do some skating.’
“You forget what holding hands and looking into somebody’s eyes feel like.”
Brian McFadden, Wes Nelson, Jane Danson, Didi Conn, Richard Blackwood and Saara Aalto are among the celebrities she’ll be competing against on the ice.
‘Dancing On Ice’ continues on Sunday (13.01.19) at 6pm on ITV.

Keanu Reeves: Getting cast in Toy Story 4 was really cool

OHMYGOSSIP — Keanu Reeves says being cast in ‘Toy Story 4’ has been a “lot of fun”.
The 54-year-old actor has an unknown new role in the Disney Pixar animated film, directed by Josh Cooley, and he admits getting the call for the part was a “really cool” moment.
Speaking to Collider about how he got cast, Reeves said: “I have no idea but I got a call which was really cool, out of the blue from the lovely people at Pixar and the creators of this continuation of the story. They pitched the character to me and we spoke and they allowed me to, kind of, riff on it and I’ve done four recording sessions with them so far and it’s been a lot of fun.”
Reeves joins veteran ‘Toy Story’ duo Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, and Tom Hanks, back as cowboy Woody, and many other returning actors in the sequel which is set for a June 2019 release.
Reeves role is shrouded in mystery but Allen did let slip that ‘The Matrix’ star is voicing a pint-size toy that is similar to Buzz.
In an interview on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ last November, Allen said: “Keanu Reeves has got a great part … His toy is only that (indicating with thumb and forefinger) big.”
He then shared his hesitance that at first his character sounded “too much like Buzz Lightyear” but was “calmed down a bit” thanks to Reeves’ input.
Reeves recently teamed up with Alice Eve for their upcoming flick ‘Replicas’, which sees him play widowed neuroscientist Will Foster, who dreams of creating a clone with the memories of his dead wife (Eve) after she is killed in a traffic accident.
Opening up about the film, Reeves added: “I guess in terms of the technology we’re looking at cloning, we’re looking at manipulation of consciousness, transference of consciousness and the possibility of what it could be to have a technology of a transferable consciousness. I guess that’s it’s looking at it from a compassionate side, and then it’s looking at it from a capitalistic, industrial side.”
Reeves is also set to be seen in noir action thriller ‘John Wick 3: Parabellum’ later this year.

Avengers to reassemble at Oscars

OHMYGOSSIP — The Avengers may reassemble at the Oscars.
Disney-owned ABC are reportedly considering bringing as many cast members from the Marvel superhero franchise on stage at the 91st Academy Awards on February 25 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, ahead of the release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
Although details are being kept under wraps, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the show’s producers are currently lining up appearances by as many big name cast members as possible.
Members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that could be likely to appear, following their appearance on the 2013 telecast are; Robert Downey Jr. who plays Iron Man, Chris Evans who portrays Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner who is Hawkeye, and Samuel L. Jackson who plays Nick Fury.
This news comes on the heels of the possibility that for the first time in three decades, the Oscars will likely have no single host and will feature various A-listers to introduce segments and possibly participate in sketches throughout the show.
Despite speculation that the iconic award show will have no host, Whoopi Goldberg is “game” to host the Oscars if she’s wanted.
The star has already hosted the prestigious ceremony four-times, first in 1994, then in 1996, then 1999 and in 2002, however, the ‘Sister Act’ star is keen to take on the job again after Kevin Hart quit following the controversy surrounding the emergence of his previous homophobic tweets.

Terry Crews blasts inequality after sexual assault claims

OHMYGOSSIP — Terry Crews has blasted inequality after he went public with his sexual assault experience.
Last year, the ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ actor claimed that talent agent Adam Venit grabbed his crotch at a Hollywood party, but he has now criticised the way he was “believed immediately” while there is scepticism surrounding many women’s claims as part of the #MeToo movement.
Speaking to ABC, he explained: “First of all, I was believed immediately. You can go through the most high-profile cases, from Harvey Weinstein to Bill Cosby, all the way up to the President of the United States.
“Most of these women have to go on and on, and tell the story over and over and over, to get someone [to believe them]. And then you have to have probably 10 more women to come forward in order for the first person to be believed.
“When I came out, immediately everybody was like ‘OK, we believe you Terry’, right away. I think it shouldn’t be that way.”
The 50-year-old actor thinks his decision to speak out has made it easier for other men to go public with their own experiences.
He said: “Even if they were going through their own personal hell, they would feel like less of a man if they ever said anything. The more I [spoke out], the more men began to tell their own stories.”
Last year, Terry and Adam settled a lawsuit following the actor’s allegations, with the latter’s agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) confirming the suit has been “dismissed”.
They said in a statement: “Terry Crews, Adam Venit and WME have settled the lawsuit Mr. Crews filed last year. It will be dismissed.”
‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ actor Terry had launched the lawsuit in December, but Adam denied the accusations in court documents.
Terry shared an article on Twitter which claims Adam is planning to leave WME, and he added the caption: “ACCOUNTABILITY”

Hermione Norris reveals cancer scare

OHMYGOSSIP — Hermione Norris has revealed she survived a cancer scare before her ‘Cold Feet’ character went through the same experience.
The 51-year-old actress – whose alter-ego Karen Marsden will battle the disease in the upcoming eighth series of the ITV drama -has opened up about the moment she feared she could have the same diagnosis in real life.
As reported by the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “I had a cancer scare myself. I found a lump and my main thought when I got the all-clear was ‘Thank God it’s not me.’
“I know women who are going through it now, with children it’s terrifying.”
Hermione has two children – 14-year-old son Wilf and 11-year-old daughter Hero – with husband Simon Wheeler.
The report that her character Karen will be faced with a health battle comes after co-star John Thomson teased two major storylines for the upcoming run of episodes.
The 49-year-old star – who plays Pete Gifford in the comedy drama – is optimistic about the eighth series of the show, which will be the third season since it returned to the small screen in 2016.
He recently said: “Series six was fantastic. Seven was a bit like ‘that difficult second album’, a bit of a slow-burn.
“But this one is fantastic, very strong. I can’t say much, but two really major things happen.”
The new episodes were originally meant to air before the end of 2018, but James Nesbitt – who will be back with John, Hermione and their co-stars Robert Bathurst and Fay Ripley – previously confirmed it will be back on ITV next month.
He said: “We’ve just finished series 8, very excited, and that will be coming along next year.”

Eamonn Holmes surprised by Ruth Langsford’s soap binges

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes is flabbergasted how his wife Ruth Langsford has so many soaps to watch, despite her tuning into them “every single night”.
The ‘This Morning’ co-hosts have separate TV planners in two living rooms, where they record their own series, but he cannot understand why she can never catch up with the likes of ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Coronation Street’, despite regularly binge-watching the programmes.
The ‘Do The Right Thing’ presenter told the ‘Series Linked’ podcast: “Sometimes I go into Ruth’s room and I say, ‘How many episodes of ‘EastEnders’ have been made? How could you possibly have six to watch?’
“I just don’t get that, because she’s always watching them. Every night she’s watching ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Corrie’, every single night.”
Instead of the goings-on on the cobbles or in Albert Square, Eamonn prefers to tune into football and factual programmes, but admits if he is ever invited to watch the soaps with Ruth she will instruct him to be silent throughout.
He added: “We watch TV in separate rooms. We tend to watch different shows, so I suppose I watch a lot of live news, current affairs, that sort of stuff and football.
“That would take up a lot of my life viewing. Ruth loves ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and won’t go out on a Saturday night when that is on.
“On a Saturday night, a lot of people may not realise, but television like BBC Two and Channel Five, in particular, have got a lot of programmes that are factual-orientated.
“Even if she was luring me in, she would actually say ‘You can come in here, only if you don’t ask any questions. Don’t be interrupting me with anything’. So we don’t really watch TV together.”
Eamonn insists the pair have only ever watched three whole series together, with the most recent one being ‘Peter Kay’s Car Share’.
While the couple don’t watch a lot of TV together, they work best when they are on the box with each other.
They are currently hosting Channel Five consumer series ‘Do The Right Thing’, as well as ‘This Morning’ on Fridays, and the pair will also co-present new show ‘This Morning on Sunday’, which will feature a selection of the funniest and most entertaining moments from the week.

Kerry Katona joins Celebs Go Dating in search of ‘new daddy’ for kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona is going on ‘Celebs Go Dating’ to find a “new daddy” for her children.
The Atomic Kitten singer – who has kids Molly, 17, and Lilly-Sue, 15 with Brian McFadden; Heidi, 11, and Maxwell, 10, with Mark Croft; and Dylan-Jorge, five, with George Kay – has joked she will get her “t*ts” out on the E4 show, but will not snogs anyone on TV for fear of embarrassing her children.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “My Molly said, ‘Mum, by all means do the show but if you put your tongue down anyone’s throat I will never speak to you again.’
“Someone said to me I’d be the talk of the playground and I said, ‘I don’t give a s**t about the mums but what I do give a s**t about is what the kids will be saying to my kids in the classroom.’
“I wouldn’t do it to them. The kids have got enough stick over my past. I wouldn’t do it to them – on camera. I didn’t say I wouldn’t get my t*ts out though.
“We got Molly on the show – Lily doesn’t know as she’ll be jealous – she was on Facetime and went ‘OK mummy, go and find me a new daddy.’ ”
Kerry – who has previously been married to Brian, Mark and George – admits she “started crying” at the show’s mixer party, which is held to encourage the celebs to mingle, because her past marriages had knocked her confidence.
She said: “I’ve never done the whole dating thing, I just marry them.
“For me now my walls are so high up that I’m not letting anybody in and it doesn’t matter if they’re lovely, I get so nervous because of my previous relationships – my last few marriages.
“Honest to God when we did the first mixer I looked amazing but I got really overwhelmed. I started crying.”

Ashley Banjo lines up Dancing on Ice replacement

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Banjo says his brother Jordan Banjo or Perri Kiely will take his place on the ‘Dancing on Ice’ panel if his wife goes into labour while the show is on air.
The 30-year-old dancer and his significant other Francesca Abbott are expecting their first child, who is due to be born in the ice skating programme’s run, and the ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge has made a contingency plan should he have to dash off set during a live broadcast.
He said: “I’ll have to get Peri or Jordan to come and sit there on stand-by.
“I’m loving ‘Dancing on Ice’. It’s a classic isn’t it?”
Ashley is finding the idea of fatherhood “quite surreal”, but is delighted about the prospect after the couple went through a “tough” fertility journey.
He said: “It’s already quite surreal for me thinking there is a little baby Banjo on the way. A little girl.
“It’s been tough. People assume, I did it myself, they think, ‘If you want a baby, have one.’ It doesn’t happen like that.”
The new ‘Dancing on Ice’ series kicked off last weekend, and Ashley was taken aback by just how good former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro dancer James Jordan was on the ice, but admits he has set his bar “extremely high”.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I’ve never seen a week one like James Jordan. I can’t believe what he did week one.
“Jason gave him an eight. What does that tell you?
“He’s set his bar extremely high.
“The dance has given him the discipline, like a work ethic. He works so hard, I know he does, so good on him.”

Carrie Fisher’s dog retires to Florida

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher’s dog Gary has retired to Florida.
The ‘Star Wars’ actress passed away at the age of 60 in December 2016, and since then her beloved pet has been living with Carrie’s former assistant Corby McCoin.
Gary has his own Instagram page, and Corby recently updated the dog’s 189,000 followers to let them know he’s now living in sunny Florida, after a stint in New York.
Alongside a picture of the mutt chilling on the beach, he wrote: “Just wanted to check in and say it has been 2 years and I miss my mom everyday. I tried New York after LA and decided the beach is much better. Hello Florida and the new adventure begins #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom #garyloveshisfans #garyfisher #frenchiesofinstagram #garyindestinflorida2019 #garysnewadventures (sic)”
Carrie’s half-sister Joely Fisher revealed last year that the Gary was still pining after her.
However, though the canine still mopes about because he misses Carrie – who played Princess Leia in the sci-fi franchise – the pooch perked up during his daily visits from Joely.
She said: “They were very, very close. I truly believe that he recognises that she is not here. But it’s funny. When I started spending time with him, we have a similar timber in our voice so when I say ‘Gary’, like Carrie would have, he looks.”
The ‘Til Death’ actress added: “I see Gary every day and he’s doing great. He’s a really great dog. He’s on my Instagram almost every day too, so people can go check him out there. He’s a very special animal.”
Gary acted as a therapy dog for Carrie as she dealt with bipolar disorder.
It was previously revealed Gary found comfort in watching ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.
Corby took the canine to watch Carrie’s last performance as General Leia Organa in the eighth instalment of the sci-fi franchise at the cinema in December 2017.
ABC News reporter Veronica Miracle shared the news on Twitter, when she wrote: “The late @carrieffisher’s dog Gary just watched #TheLastJedi! He sat on Fisher’s former assistant’s lap during the film. She said his ears perked up every time she was on screen @starwars @ABC7 (sic)”
Gary will be able to see his late owner again in ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’, as she has been given a significant arc story through unreleased footage of the star.
The late actress’ brother, Todd Fisher, 60, recently spilled that ‘Episode IX’ helmer J.J. Abrams managed to create a conclusion for Leia woven into the Skywalker saga by masterfully including the unused clips that were originally shot for ‘Episode VII – The Force Awakens’.
He said: “There’s a lot of minutes of footage. I don’t mean just outtakes. This is unused, new content that could be woven into the storyline. That’s what’s going to give everybody such a great kick. It’s going to look like it was meant to be. Like it was shot yesterday.”
Todd isn’t allowed to reveal any details of his sister’s ‘Star Wars’ swansong but he insists he and the rest of the family, including Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd, are very happy with what Abrams, 52, has done.
He added: “We’re not allowed to talk about the details of anything. But we’re thrilled at what’s been done.”

Daniel Craig following ‘strict diet’ to get in shape for Bond 25

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig is reportedly avoiding alcohol and unhealthy food to get in shape for ‘Bond 25’.
The 50-year-old actor – who welcomed his first child, a baby girl, with wife Rachel Weisz in September – is refraining from eating anything bad for him as he prepares for his final stint as the suave spy in 2020.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the ‘Casino Royale’ star decided not to attend a recent BAFTA bash with his 48-year-old spouse – who has 12-year-old son Henry with Darren Aronofsky – and was avoiding the wine and canapés on offer at the Golden Globes, opting for water and a protein bar.
An onlooker told the tabloid: “Daniel was clearly adamant he wouldn’t be tempted by the alcohol, canapes, haute cuisine and desserts.
“On Saturday, Rachel attended the BAFTA party but he stayed in. Then at the Golden Globes, he preferred water to wine and was chewing a protein bar.”
He’s also reported to have turned down 007’s favourite beverage, a martini, shaken not stirred, at a Globes after-party.
The ‘Layer Cake’ star – who also has 27-year-old daughter Ella with ex-wife Fiona Loudon – previously revealed he discovered a failsafe hangover cure which he believes to be the “difference between life and death”.
He explained: “There’s this thing called Pedialyte. It’s basically a diuretic; you give it to kids who are dehydrated. If you wake up in the morning and you’ve got one of those on standby and you down the whole lot…you can carry on drinking!
“[I learned it from] Mark Wahlberg. Who I don’t know, but I was told that’s what Mark swears by. It’s the difference between life and death as far as I’m concerned.”
The ‘Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ actor “mourns” his days of going to pubs as fame makes it hard to go out drinking and find new places to socialise.
He said: “I mourn it slightly. I like to have a drink, and I love pubs and I love finding new pubs and places to socialise. But that has a limit on it now.”

Thom Yorke snubs Radiohead’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction

OHMYGOSSIP — Thom Yorke won’t be attending Radiohead’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
The ‘Creep’ hitmaker has insisted an upcoming commitment at the Philharmonie De Paris on April 7 – which falls nine days after the induction ceremony – means he won’t be able to be there in person.
He told Variety: “I can’t. I know I can’t, because of these piano pieces that I’ve written [for French pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque]. There’s the Paris Philharmonic, so I have to be there for that… I’m booked.”
Thom went on to insist that he and his bandmates “don’t quite understand” the idea of being recognised at award ceremonies, and suggested it is a cultural issue.
He explained:”So we don’t want to offend anyone. We just think that we just don’t quite understand it. We’ve had it explained to us, so it’s cool.
“But we don’t really understand it as English people. I think our problem is essentially that every awards ceremony in the UK stinks.
“We grew up with the Brit [Awards], which is like this sort of drunken car crash that you don’t want to get involved with. So, yeah, we don’t really know what to make of it.”
Radiohead will be inducted at the ceremony in Brooklyn, New York on March 29, with Janet Jackson and Stevie Nicks also being honoured.
The class of 2019 will see the three iconic acts being recognised alongside The Cure, Def Leppard, Roxy Music and The Zombies.
Pop superstar Janet said in a statement: “Thank you Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I am truly honored and I am happy to be in there with my brothers.”
In 1997 Janet’s siblings – Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, Michael and Tito – were inducted as the Jackson 5, while ‘Thriller’ hitmaker Michael was part of the class of 2001.
To be eligible for this year’s ballot each nominee must have released their first single or album in or before 1993.
The likes of LL Cool J, Kraftwerk, MC5 and Rage Against The Machine were on the initial shortlist, but didn’t get named in the final class.
