Louise Redknapp suffers horror fall

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Redknapp has been rushed to hospital after suffering a horror fall.
The 44-year-old singer was on her way to rehearsals in London’s West End for the Dolly Parton musical ‘9 to 5’ earlier this week when she took a tumble and suffered a deep gash on her chin, as well as fracturing her left wrist.
Louise’s fall means she’s had to pull out of the musical – in which she was due to play Dolly’s role as Violet Newstand – as she was told after urgent treatment that she would not be able to work for at least two months.
A source close to Louise told The Sun newspaper: “It happened on the way to rehearsals on Tuesday morning. She fell in the street.
“She went to hospital and had stitches. Then doctors told her she needs time out and can’t do the show.
“She is obviously completely devastated because this is a dream role for her. It doesn’t seem fair.”
Producers of ‘9 to 5’ – which opens for previews on January 28 – are yet to decide who will replace the ‘Let’s Go Round Again’ hitmaker in the musical, but have put out a statement confirming Louise won’t be performing until at least late March.
They said: “We hope Louise will start performances towards the end of March or early April.
“Due to an injury this week, Louise Redknapp has had to temporarily withdraw from performing the role of Violet in 9 to 5 The Musical.
“The recovery time recommended means Louise is no longer able to properly rehearse the show in the remaining time left before opening.
“Together we have made the difficult decision to delay Louise’s start date in the show. We hope that Louise will start performances sometime towards the end of March/early April 2019. Everyone at 9 to 5 wishes Louise a speedy recovery and we look forward to welcoming her back.”

Kate Hudson: It’s hard to juggle life with three kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson admits it can be difficult to “juggle” her life as a mother of three.
The 39-year-old actress welcomed daughter Rani – her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa – into the world in October, and has said the new addition has posed some challenges to her daily life, as she’s found her family home to be “busy” with five people in it.
Kate – who is also mother to 15-year-old son Ryder, whom she has with Chris Robinson, and seven-year-old Bingham, whose father is Muse rocker Matt Bellamy – said: “We’re sort of balancing out the masculine and the feminine. It’s great – it’s a lot right now, I’m not going to lie – it’s busy in the house. It’s a lot trying to juggle and manage, and balance is a daily … it’s like, the family huddles around and everyone gets their strategy and then and we’re like, ‘Hike! Let’s do this, let’s spread out.’ But it’s good.”
And with her children each being seven years apart in age, the ‘Bride Wars’ star says it can be tough knowing how best to parent each child – especially her teenage son Ryder.
She added: “Basically, I’ve been having children my entire adult life. Ryder is 15, he’s sort of doing his own thing right now. He needs a different kind of nurturing. I’m nurturing him differently than, say, Rani and Bing. Him, it’s like a more mental nurture these days. Like, ‘Let’s sit down and talk about this.’ But in terms of having to do things, he’s really independent and doing a lot on his own and more helpful than it is needing from me in that way. He’s more my helper.”
Kate might be juggling life as a parent, but she has her boyfriend Danny to help and insists he’s the “greatest” father.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she said: “Danny is the greatest. I feel like I hit the jackpot. His natural ability as a dad is just amazing to watch. He’s also just an incredible, supportive partner for me. That’s a nice thing to have.”

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt ‘work hard’ to co-parent

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Faris and Chris Pratt “work really hard” to be supportive of each other in the wake of their split.
The 42-year-old actress officially divorced Chris in November 2018, and has said that whilst their break-up did come with “bitterness and pain”, the couple – who are now both in new relationships, Anna with Michael Barrett and Chris with Katherine Schwarzenegger – do their best to remain civil and “happy” for the sake of their six-year-old son Jack.
Speaking on her ‘Unqualified’ podcast, she said: “Chris and I work really hard ’cause we have Jack, that is sort of the long game idea and making sure Jack is really happy, which makes us really happy. We have sort of the luxury of circumstance. You know, we are both in other loving relationships … but it is … it’s like how do you not in general sink into a place of bitterness?
“I do want to reiterate though, that I f***ing acknowledge, we all do, everyone acknowledges, that there is bitterness and pain with all breakups and that hopefully makes us all human. But the long game is just the worst being the bigger person. It just is. It f***ing sucks until, then what happens though, is that everyone’s happy.”
Her comments come after she previously claimed she and the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star still have “a lot of love” between them, despite splitting in August 2017 after almost 10 years of marriage.
She said: “We have a great friendship, we really do and we always have. And it’s always tough to envision your future as one thing, but I think there is a lot of love. And in what we do there is so much [unpredictability].”
And since their split, the ‘Scary Movie’ actress has kept her cards close to her chest when it comes to her love life.
She said: “I think it’s a lesson learned a little bit in terms of keeping relationships a little more private, potentially, even though I pride myself on being a pretty open person. But, I don’t know, it’s tough when you’re under the scrutiny.”

Louise Redknapp hospitalised after fall

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Redknapp was rushed to hospital after falling over in the street.
The ‘Naked’ singer has been forced to pull out of her role in musical ‘9 to 5’ for at least the first two months of its run after suffering a deep gash to her chin and a fractured wrist after the accident, which happened when she was on her way to rehearsals for the production in London on Tuesday (08.01.19).
A source said: “It happened on the way to rehearsals on Tuesday morning. She fell in the street.
“She went to hospital and had stitches. Then doctors told her she needs time out and can’t do the show.
“She is obviously completely devastated because this is a dream role for her. It doesn’t seem fair.”
Producers for the show have confirmed the 44-year-old singer – who has sons Charley, 14, and Beau, 10, with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp — will miss several weeks of performances because her injuries mean she can’t be involved with rehearsals but they are hopeful she’ll be back in action by April.
They said in a statement: “We hope Louise will start performances towards the end of March or early April.
“Due to an injury this week, Louise Redknapp has had to temporarily withdraw from performing the role of Violet in ‘9 to 5 The Musical’.
The person who will replace Louise as Violet Newstand has yet to be announced, but the production will still have its first preview performance on January 28 as planned.
The former Eternal singer’s co-star in the show, Amber Davies, has sent a message of sympathy to her friend.
The ‘Love Island’ star tweeted: “Well. I leave you for 2 mins!! Wishing one of my favourite humans the most speedy recovery! I can’t wait to be beside you as we play leading ladies together.”

Johnny Depp settles lawsuit

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Depp has settled a lawsuit with two former bodyguards who accused him of exposing them to “illegal substances”.
Eugene Arreola and Miguel Sanchez, had taken legal action against the ‘Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald’ star after claiming he had acted erratically and created a “toxic” working environment thanks to the “unsafe conditions” they were in during their time protecting him from 2016 to 2017, but they have now reached an agreement over the case.
Court documents were filed in Los Angeles by the bodyguards on January 4 to inform the court they had “reached a conditional settlement which settles and resolved the entire matter as to each Defendant and each Plaintiff.”
All future hearings in the matter were cancelled and the case has now been closed.
The terms of the settlement haven’t been disclosed so it is unclear whether the 55-year-old star has had to pay out any money as part of the deal.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor hadn’t filed any legal responses to the case at any point.
When the men filed their lawsuit last May, they sued for a range of reasons including unpaid wages and wrongful termination and claimed they “found themselves in situations that required more than what a bodyguard would be expected to do”.
More specifically, Arreola and Sanchez alleged that they were “asked repeatedly to drive vehicles that contained illegal substances, open containers and minors”.
In the lawsuit, they also claimed that they were “forced to protect [Depp] from himself and his vices while in public, becoming caretakers for him”.
The bodyguards explain that the “unsafe conditions and situations” in which they were forced to work led to them developing “stress-related injuries”.
Neither Arreola and Sanchez was paid overtime in almost two years, according to the bodyguards, who also claim they weren’t afforded meal and rests breaks, which are a legal requirement.
But despite the lawsuit, the security professionals insisted they don’t bear any “ill will” towards the Hollywood star.
A section of the lawsuit reads: “[Arreola and Sanchez] were forced to leave their jobs despite claiming that they enjoyed many of the people they worked with and had no ill will toward Johnny Depp.”

Jessica Simpson asks Instagram for swollen feet remedies

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Simpson is seeking the “help” of her social media followers for her extremely swollen feet.
The 38-year-old singer – who already has Maxwell, six, and Ace, five, with husband Eric Johnson – is expecting her third baby, a girl, and appears to be suffering from edema, a common pregnancy symptom that can affect the feet, legs, and even the face, and she has taken to Instagram to ask for some “remedies” to help ease the discomfort.
Alongside a picture of her foot, she asked on Instagram: “Any remedies?! Help!!!!”
Meanwhile, Jessica previously admitted that she didn’t “understand” how she got pregnant again.
The ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin” hitmaker “didn’t really know” whether or not she could conceive again and was stunned when she did because she and her spouse hadn’t been particularly busy in the bedroom.
She admitted: “I thought about [having another baby], but I didn’t really know that it could actually happen.
“We definitely always love to practice. We actually weren’t practicing very much that month so I don’t understand. We try [to figure it out]. This might be a miracle baby.”
The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star’s older children are very excited about having a younger sibling, but Eric, 39, warned his wife to stop being “so honest” when it comes to answering their questions.
She said: “They’re so excited because they’re only fourteen months apart, so they didn’t get to experience the excitement of each other.
“But when I told them that we’re having another baby, I know that they’ll remember that for the rest of their lives.
“They are most excited about learning how to do the swaddle. Maxwell, my daughter is just so happy that it’s a girl.
“They ask me the craziest questions that I can’t say on TV … ‘How does the baby come out?’ ‘Where does the milk come from, I don’t understand!’
“I’m a little bit too honest, and Eric’s like, ‘I don’t think we need to give out ALL the information, Jessica. So, I’m scaring my kids, I think.”
The ‘Blonde Ambition’ actress took to Instagram in September to share the happy news, when she posted a picture of her two kids surrounded by pink balloons – which revealed the gender of Jessica’s unborn baby.
She wrote in the caption: “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”

Amy Adams once annoyed Whitney Houston working at The Gap

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Adams once annoyed Whitney Houston when she worked at The Gap.
The ‘Sharp Objects’ actress has recalled the time the ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)’ hitmaker – who tragically died of accidental drowning at the age of 48 in 2012 – shopped at the retail store she was working in at the time, and how she was forced to do The Gap’s customer service protocol of asking if she could help her with anything – which didn’t go down well with the late music icon.
Appearing on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’, she recalled: “I just did everything I was supposed to do, even if I didn’t want to.
“And I was like, gotta ‘Gap act’ her … ‘Welcome to the Gap. Is there anything I can help you with? Let me tell you about our T-shirts that are on sale.'”
The 44-year-old star – who has eight-year-old daughter Aviana with husband Darren Le Gallo – thought it was annoying too, but didn’t want to get fired, so she went through with it, and the ‘When You Believe’ singer ending up asking if she could be assisted by another employee.
She added: “She went back into the dressing room and requested anybody else.
“It’s true, it’s true. Anybody else, which made me laugh, because I agreed that I was annoying, but I couldn’t stop doing my job.”
The ‘Vice’ star previously revealed that she was grateful for landing the job at The Gap because before then, she used to work at Hooters and have customers “touch her ass”.
Amy admitted she is “relieved” she is “far, far removed” from her teenage years when she could barely make ends meet working in the US restaurant chain, which requires waitresses to wear hot pants and show off their breasts in low-cut and tight T-shirts.
Asked what her worst job ever was, she said: “As soon as I turned 18, I started working. My first job was at Hooters, a restaurant and bar where the waitresses wear shorts and very tight T-shirts. But I didn’t stay there very long – a lot of the customers believed that touching your ass was included in the service.
“Then, fortunately, I found a job at the Gap, where I could finally afford to buy everything I wanted with 50 per cent off.”

Gemma Collins praised by Alex Murphy

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Dancing On Ice’ professional Alex Murphy is “proud” of Gemma Collins.
The 30-year-old skater – who is partnered with Brian McFadden on this year’s show – admitted she has come under “scrutiny” because of her own curvy frame and she feels emotional watching the ‘Only Way is Essex’ star perform with Matt Evers because she thinks the blonde is inspirational.
She said: “I am so proud of Gemma. She is really a great person and she did such a good job on Sunday.
“She fell in the dress rehearsal. She fell and fell and fell. But she kept herself going. She got up and got on with it. And all of those who say she can’t do it, or that her weight was a disadvantage – all those awful remarks – Gemma still did it.
“I’m a bigger girl and have had a lot of scrutiny because of my size.
“It’s tough. They want you to be really small and it’s obviously harder to be lifted up as a bigger girl, a girl with curves.
“So for me to see Gemma do it is inspiring.
“I am 110% behind her and when I watch her it tugs on my heartstrings.”
Alex – who partnered Kem Cetinay last year – insists she has a “healthy” body shape but feels frustrated when she’s written off because of her curves.
She added to MailOnline: “‘People were like, ‘Isn’t it nice they’re hiring a bigger girl [on ‘Dancing On Ice’]. I have faced a lot of, ‘You can’t do that’. I used to be told I couldn’t be cast in a particular role because I looked too much like a woman!
“I am smart enough to know in the real world that how I look is healthy. And I am very proud of Gemma, it touches me – and Brian. We look up to her a lot.”
The skater hailed Brian as a “dream to work with” and she’s looking forward to their first routine on this weekend’s show.
She said: “We’ve got some big lifts to do. And Brian, who is a goofy and funny guy, will be showing a more serious side of himself because our first routine is definitely more serious.”

Saoirse Ronan’s ‘diva’ Mary Queen of Scots horse

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan’s horse in ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ was “the biggest diva”.
The 24-year-old star learnt to ride an equine for the first time with Prince – the same stallion as DC Comics superhero Wonder Woman – for the drama and she has described her noble steed as being both “really cocky” and “nervous”.
She told W magazine: “I got to learn how to ride a horse for Mary ‘Queen of Scots’.
“My horse is also Wonder Woman’s horse, and he is the biggest diva I’ve ever met in my life. “His name’s Prince. And Prince doesn’t do anything for anyone, especially me.
“So, I’d be on the horse and I’d be like, ‘Come on, Prince. Let’s go!’
“And I’m trying to be all sort of Queen-like and he’d just look at me and he’d go, ‘I’m not ready to go yet.’ And then he’d go from being like really, really cocky to getting really nervous.”
She quipped: “Yeah. Everything I did was for that horse, just to get his approval.”
The ‘Lady Bird’ star recently revealed she found it “awkward” going to the toilet in a corset whilst filming the movie, which sees her star as the titular Mary Stuart alongside her on-screen rival, Margot Robbie’s Queen Elizabeth I.
Ronan admitted it was rather “uncomfortable” being in the garment, which synchs the waist in, especially when she needed to use the bathroom.
She said: “They weren’t uncomfortable, just difficult to wear. We had to navigate our way around the corsets and five skirts we wore every day, and I had to ride horses in them. It was a whole new thing, so I got used to it.”
Asked if it was difficult using the lavatory, she replied: “Yes, but I’m not going to go into that.”
Despite her struggles wearing the tight-fitted clothing, Saoirse said it was an “amazing feeling” when she was working on the film because the project was a dream come true.
She said: “The film focuses on the seven years before Mary’s arrest in England and we see Queen Elizabeth heavily involved in the politics of that time and the struggle against patriarchal authority.
“I’ve always wanted to play Mary and it was an amazing feeling to get to do it.”

Henry Winkler joins French Dispatch

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Winkler has joined the cast of ‘The French Dispatch’.
The ‘Barry’ actor is the latest big name to sign up to be a part of director Wes Anderson’s upcoming post-World War II drama and he will appear alongside the likes of Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Adrien Brody, Bob Balaban, Benicio Del Toro and Timothee Chalamet.
The movie is set in the 1950s and will see three separate storylines thread together as the cameras follow a group of journalists at an American newspaper bureau in Paris.
The former ‘Happy Days’ star’s casting came a few weeks after Saoirse Ronan confirmed she will be reteaming with her ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ director on the movie.
Asked if she’ll be working with him again, she said: “Yeah, in the spring. Has that [casting] been released? Well it has now.”
Anderson is writing the film as well as directing, while Scott Rudin is on board to produce.
It’s unclear if a distribution deal is officially closed but it is expected to be distributed by Fox Searchlight, who have released several of the director’s past films, including 2018’s ‘Isle of Dogs’.
‘The French Dispatch’ is expected to be released later this year.
Henry recently wrapped filming on the second season of ‘Barry’, a show which has brought him widespread critical acclaim and even his first Emmy Award win for his portrayal of acting teacher Gene Cousineau.
At the ceremony last September, the 72-year-old actor joked he was using a speech he’d written 43 years ago, when he landed the first of his seven nominations.
He quipped: “I wrote this 43 years ago…
“[My lawyer] Skip Brittenham said to me a long time ago, ‘If you sit at the table long enough, the chips will come your way’. Tonight, I got to clear the table.”
After thanking ‘Barry’ creators Alec Berg and Bill Hader and the show’s cast and crew, Henry turned his attention to his family.
Calling back to his old speech, he quipped to his adult children: “Jed, Zoe, and Max, you can go to bed now!”

Travis Scott resolves festival row

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Scott has had a lawsuit brought against him over a cancelled musica festival dropped.
The ‘Astroworld’ rapper was been accused of fraud and breach of contract by Empire Music Ventures, who alleged he had agreed to perform at the 2019 Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience at the Empire Polo Grounds – the same site as Coachella – but pulled out just weeks after signing a contract and receiving just over half of his $400,000 fee.
However, sources told The Blast the case will now be dismissed after the $217,500 deposit was returned, and explained the person who booked Travis for the event wasn’t his official booker and the 26-year-old star had never agreed to take the job.
Lawyer Perry Wander confirmed to the website that the lawsuit had been settled in full to the satisfaction of both Travis and Empire Music Ventures.
It was previously claimed the company had agreed a deal with Travis on November 7 last year and he received an upfront part-payment of $217,500 on December 3, but his representatives called later that day to cancel his 75-minute set with no explanation.
On the day the organisers claim to have paid Travis the first installment of his $400,000 fee, they released a message cancelling the event which read: “Due to a last minute cancellation by our festival headliner, we have no other choice than to cancel the 2019 Rhythm, Wine & Brews Experience.”
Empire Music Ventures had accused the rapper and his team of stealing from them in their legal documents.
They wrote in bold and underlined text: “Defendants have stolen Plaintiff’s money. [They] refuse to return the money … each of them have kept it, and wrongfully converted it to their own use. They have stolen 217,500.00.”

Octavian wins BBC Sound Of 2019

OHMYGOSSIP — Octavian has beat the likes of Grace Carter and Mahalia to be crowned the winner of the BBC Sound Of 2019.
The 23-year-old French-British star – whose real name is Oliver Godji – has become the first rapper in 15 years, when 50 Cent topped the annual poll, to be honoured with the prestigious accolade.
He told the BBC: “That’s lit. I don’t even know how to feel right now … Mum, I made it!”
A panel of 136 music experts, including Radio 1 DJs, artists such as Ellie Goulding – who won in 2010 – and 2018’s winner Sigrid came together to narrow down the finalists and pick the overall winner.
Octavian – who released his 2018 mixtape ‘Spaceman’ to critical acclaim in September – has previously been compared to Drake and even received the praise of the ‘In My Feelings’ hitmaker for his dancehall-influenced sound, and he’s vowed to make 2019 a “loud” year for his music.
Octavian said: “I get inspired and I try to make a new sound every day. It’s going to be a very loud year for me. Loads of music, loads of visuals, loads of albums.”
King Princess, ‘Why Her Not Me’ hitmaker Grace Carter, slow thai and Rosalía also made the top five.
Dermot Kennedy, Ella Mai, Flohio, Mahalia
and Sea Girls were also contenders in the longlist.
Annie Mac, who unveiled the winner on her BBC Radio 1 show, commented: “BBC Sound Of is always a wonderful opportunity to get a snapshot of the new music landscape in the UK and this year is really interesting. 6 of the 10 artists are women. And we have two rappers in the top five! I am delighted that UK rap music has got such great placement in the list – Octavian is a truly original and exciting artist, pushing the boundaries of the genre and it’s great to see such a progressive artist getting such a huge accolade.”

Zoe Ball comments on It Takes Two future

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Ball has confirmed she will stay on ‘It Takes Two’ despite her new role on BBC Radio 2.
The 47-year-old star will take over the ‘Breakfast Show’ next week after Chris Evans’ decision to leave after eight years, and she has revealed she wants to continue on the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ spin-off when it returns later this year.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: “I love ‘It Takes Two’ and I’m like, ‘Get back – this is my show, I love it so much’. So I am planning on doing both.
“How that will work later in the year, I don’t know. There might have to be a nap during the day, but I love that show so much. I love the whole thing.”
Her predecessor Chris hosted his final show on Christmas Eve (24.12.18) and told his audience not to be too sad over his departure.
Speaking on air, he said: “It is sad. It’s a sad day today. But it is also an exciting day for everyone. You’ve got to turn the pages sometimes.
“If you wait for other people to turn them it might never happen, you know what I am saying? Please don’t shed too many tears during our final morning.”
Back in October, Zoe commented on her new role and said it was “both an honour and a privilege”.
Speaking in a statement, she said: “To be the first woman to present this very special show is both an honour and privilege. Believe me, I’m not underestimating the enormity of the task ahead, to follow not one but two of my broadcasting idols, into such a well-loved show is somewhat daunting.
“I hope, in the same way that Chris made this show his own after taking over from the wonderful Sir Terry Wogan, that with a top team alongside me, I can bring the fabulous Radio 2 audience a show they want to wake up to.”

Zoe Ball got through tough times with work

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Ball credits her work for getting her through the “toughest times” in her life.
The 48-year-old broadcaster has been through a turbulent two years that saw her split from husband Norman Cook – the father of her children Woody, 18, and eight-year-old Nelly – before finding love again with Billy Yates, only for the cameraman to tragically take his own life seven months into their relationship, but she has always felt “looked after” by those who listened to her radio show and worked by her side.
She said: “I think the timing of everything has been really, really positive in many ways.
“I had certain jobs come up in the past that I might not have been able to deal with.
“I felt like the listeners and my audience and my family at work really looked after me through a lot of the stuff that happened.
“And my radio show on Saturday lifted my spirits so much in the toughest times.”
Zoe – who has also battled alcoholism – admitted she used to feel “anxious” ahead of going on air but developed a technique to banish negative thoughts that she’s found really helpful.
Speaking ahead of taking over from Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show next week, she told The Sun newspaper: “Back in the early days when I started doing ‘It Takes Two’ on TV, I would get anxious, especially if you let all the voices in your head tell you really negative things about yourself.
“Someone taught me this really lovely thing, which is when you’re panicking or thinking, ‘I can’t do this, I can’t do this,’ you just say, ‘Right. Hi, negative thoughts. Stop bothering me. If you just wait there, I’m going to do this job, then I’ll come back and talk to you later.’
“It’s actually a really good thing. I’ve done it before when they’ve been going, ‘You’re not very good.’
“Obviously that won’t stop me being terrified on Monday but we’ve got a great show that we’re excited for the listeners to hear.”
While Zoe has been working hard preparing for her show and is excited about what’s in store, she won’t enjoy listening back to it.
She admitted: “I can’t bear listening to my own voice. Honestly, I can’t stand it. It’s painful for me to hear. But as a team, we are so excited.”

Workaholic Kevin Hart

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Hart is a workaholic.
The 39-year-old comic may have stepped down as Oscars host last month due to controversy over his past homophobic tweets, but that doesn’t mean he’s any less busy and he plans to “embrace” the opportunities that come his way.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “[I] have ‘The Upside’, which drops late tonight, and then throughout the weekend. [I’m] about to start filming ‘Jumanji’. “[Then I’m] about to get into another movie called Fatherhood.
“I like to stay busy. I embrace it. I’m a workaholic and I’m doing it while I can. [I’m] 39 years old, almost 40, I gotta get it all.”
Kevin, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan will be joined in the ‘Jumanji’ sequel by franchise newcomers Danny DeVito and Awkwafina and the actor is looking forward to adding new faces to the project.
He said: “I don’t think it’s gonna change the mix, I think it adds to it, ya know? When you add more talent it just gives us more potential to have that much of a better film.”
The ‘Get Hard’ actor – who has 13-month-old Kenzo with wife Eniko Parrish and Hendrix, 13, and 11-year-old Heaven with ex-wife Torrei Hart – recently vowed to stop giving the Oscars row “any more energy”.
He said: “I’m done with it. It gets no more energy from me. That’s why I said for the last time, I’m addressing this. There’s no more conversation about it. I’m literally over that. I’m over the moment. I’m about today. If [my apology is] accepted today, great. If it’s not, it’s nothing I can control. Some things are left out of your hands, so I’m done with it. I’m over it.
“I have explained how I’ve evolved, which makes me say I’m over it. I’m not saying how I’ve changed anymore … I’m not giving no more explanation of who I am. I’ve done it. I’ve done it several times … I’m just done.”
The ‘Night School’ star believes that no matter how many times he addresses the situation some people still won’t be happy, so he’s chosen not to speak about the topic any more.
He added: “There is no ending to it. If you keep feeding this energy, then it’s going to grow. You’re not getting no more of my energy from it. I’m not giving no more because it shows that it’s endless, so I’m not shutting down the questions. I hear everything you’re saying, but I want everybody to know I’m done with it. It’s a choice that I personally made to say, ‘I’m not addressing it anymore.’ That’s not from an angry place. It’s just from a place of it’s never going to really end. I’m done with it. So if people choose to continue to let it grow, then do what you got to do.”

Dave Grohl takes a tumble after downing Bud Light beer

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Grohl fell off stage during Foo Fighters’ first gig of 2019, after downing Bud Light beer.
The ‘Learn to Fly’ hitmaker was handed a can of the lower-alcohol content beverage by a member of the audience at the US rock band’s concert at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday (09.01.19), and attempted to drink it from off the top of a speaker whilst playing the guitar.
The 49-year-old frontman failed, spilling a large quantity of the booze over the electric speaker and then stood to the side to finish the rest of the drink.
On his way back up to the stage, he tripped and fell into the crowd.
He was swiftly picked up by a member of security and carried on playing the rock show like a pro.
Alongside the footage captured by a fan on Instagram, the attendee named Matthew quipped: “Dave Grohl: likes Bud Light, hates gravity. (sic)”
The former Nirvana drummer was forced to pull his band’s headlining set at Glastonbury in 2015 – with Florence + The Machine stepping in for the slot at the music extravaganza in Somerset, England – after breaking his leg on stage at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.
And last year, Dave decided to hire a stuntman to pretend to be him at their first show back at the same venue to reenact his serious face-plant.
Dave also nearly injured himself again, last May, at Welcome to Rockville in Florida, but he laughed off his trip and joked that he knows he’s played a “great show” when he comes close to hurting himself.
He told the crowd: “I almost broke my f***ing leg over there.
“Here’s the way I look at it, when you get that close to breaking your f***ing leg, that means it’s a great show.”
However, it hasn’t always been a light-hearted matter, as the daredevil rocker previously admitted he “fell into depression” when broke his leg in Sweden.
Dave fell 12 feet off the stage, snapping the bone, dislocating his leg and tearing “all” of the ligaments in the limb.
The rocker decided to carry on with the “60 more shows” they had lined up – performing sat down on a ‘Game of Thrones’ inspired throne – but once the group had finished their string of concerts they decided to take a break, during which he struggled to cope with his recovery and life without the band and music.
He said: “I didn’t just snap the bone, I dislocated it and tore all the ligaments. But we had 60 more shows and after I came out of surgery we sat in my hotel room and had a meeting to decide what to do. Everyone wanted to make sure. I was OK and that we weren’t pushing it too hard. So I said what would it be like if I had to sit in a ridiculous f***ing throne every night and play to thousands of people?
“I imagined there would be a solid year of no music but I didn’t realise how bad I’d damaged my leg until I was with a physiotherapist three months after I had surgery.
“I’ve got a beautiful life outside of the band, but music really is what keeps my f***ing blood pumping.
“After about six months, with no band or no music, I really fell into a depression where I felt empty.”
