Christina Aguilera praises Lady Gaga for R. Kelly comments

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera praises Lady Gaga after she removes R.Kelly duet ‘Do What U Want’ from streaming services.
Lady Gaga revealed this week she would be taking down the 2013 track from “all streaming services” following the accusations of sexual assault made by a host of women against Kelly in new Lifetime documentary series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’.
And now 38-year-old Christina – who recorded a special duet version of the song with Gaga, which they performed together on ‘The Voice’ in 2013 – has spoken out in defence of their version of the song, praising it for showing “women sticking together”.
Posting several images of the performance on Twitter, the ‘Liberation’ singer wrote: “This is a reminder of women sticking together– and not letting a man take ownership of a great song/ moment… And if anything the message of this song remains that although you may have had my body, you will never have my heart, my voice my life or my mind.
“Being a survivor of past predators myself, these lines spoke to me, which is why I did the song. I embrace all survivors of sexual and domestic violence and abuse holding a special place in my heart, and you @ladygaga, for doing the right thing! (sic)”
Christina’s post comes after Gaga, 32, apologised to her fans for working with R.Kelly on the original track in a social media post addressed to her 77.6 million followers on Twitter.
She wrote: “I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously.
“What I am hearing about the allegations against R Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible. As a victim of sexual assault myself, I made both the song and the video at a dark time in my life. My intention was to create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn’t processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life. The song is called Do What U Want (With My Body), I think it’s clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time.
“If I could go back and have a talk with my younger self I’d tell her to go through the therapy I have since then, so that I could understand the confused post-traumatic state that I was in – or if therapy was not available to me or anyone in my situation – to seek help, and speak as openly and honestly as possible about what we’ve been through.
“I can’t go back, but I can go forward and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault. I have demonstrated my stance on this issue and others many times throughout my career. I share this not to make excuses for myself, but to explain. Til it happens to you, you don’t know how it feels. But I do know how I feel now. I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again.
“I’m sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner”.
Kelly, 52, has denied all the allegations made against him and has threatened legal action against his accusers and the makers of the series.

Behati Prinsloo suffered postpartum depression

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo suffered from postpartum depression following the birth of her first child.
The 30-year-old model has daughters Dusty Rose, two, and Gio Grace, 10 months, with her husband Adam Levine, and has said she struggled with her mental health when she gave birth to her first daughter, and is thankful that her life post-pregnancy has been “easier” the second time around.
She said: “I got pregnant [with Gio] seven months after I had my first baby. I’ve been modelling for 15 years and when I got pregnant I didn’t want to do anything, I wanted to enjoy my time. I really liked being pregnant and not working. When I got pregnant the second time, I just did the same thing.
“After my first baby, I had a little postpartum depression and it was difficult to get back into normal life. But after the second one, everything felt so much easier; it was easier for me to work out, breastfeeding was easier. No one pressured me to return to work, not even Victoria’s Secret, who I was under contract with – they never asked me when I was going to be back.”
Although she felt no pressure to return to the runway, Behati went back to work just eight months after giving birth to Gio, and says she “felt so empowered” by the decision.
She added: “I felt so empowered. I was like, ‘I can DO this. I have two kids.’ It was a beautiful journey; I loved being pregnant and I enjoyed getting back to work.”
And after spending much of her pregnancy in “yoga pants”, the beauty says she’s “finally enjoying getting dressed again”.
Speaking to Net-a-Porter, Behati said: “I’m finally enjoying getting dressed again. I was pregnant and then breastfeeding for so long that I was literally living in yoga pants. But a few months ago I put them on and was like, ‘No, it’s time to put on jeans and wear a normal outfit.’ I love jeans and a T-shirt.
“Adam gets me crazy sneakers and I have a closet full of shoes, but I usually wear Dr. Martens. I’ve never been the kind of girl who wears heels in the day – it makes me feel uncomfortable and I’m way too tall [5ft 11].”

Dwayne Johnson slams ‘snowflake’ generation

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne Johnson has slammed young people for “looking for a reason to be offended”.
The 46-year-old actor and professional wrestler has hit out at the younger generation, claiming they are ruining the hard work of people who “fought for freedom and equality”, by trying to find more reasons to be “offended”.
He said: “So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended. If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”
The ‘Rampage’ star says the world has come a long way in terms of equality and acceptance, but believes “generation snowflake” is doing more harm than good to the movement.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Dwayne added: “We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years. People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.
“That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”
Dwayne has expressed an interest in politics in the past, and was the subject of rumours last year that he might be looking to run for president of the United States, after he was reported to have had “under-the-radar” meetings with experts from across the political spectrum.
The ‘Baywatch’ star then said that whilst he was “flattered” by the rumours, he was on a mission to gain more “information” about politics before he made any kind of formal commitment.
He said: “This is where you get me in trouble. [The meetings are] just really to understand more and to learn more … The idea of running for president has been very flattering that a good amount of people have been wanting me to run and, honestly, it’s so flattering, but I feel like the most respectful thing I could do is just learn as much as I could possibly do.
“Like, to become president, that is a skill set that I feel like you have to know. You have to put in the time – like years and years of service, so anyway, that’s where I’m at. I just want to learn as much as I possibly can.”

Josh Hutcherson: James Franco is a really good guy

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Hutcherson thinks James Franco is “really honest and down-to-earth”.
The 26-year-old actor has worked with James on three movies – ‘In Dubious Battle’, ‘The Disaster Artist’, and ‘The Long Home’ – and says the “biggest misconception” about the actor is how people often think he can be “hard to connect with”, when in actual fact he’s “a really good guy”.
He said: “The biggest misconception about James is that some people find him like a little hard to connect with, but I can tell you, once you get inside the circle, he’s like your best friend. He’s a really good guy, really honest and extremely intelligent, down-to-earth.”
Josh also praised James’ directing style, as he claimed the 40-year-old ‘Deuce’ star has an “open process” which allows his actors to give their own input into their roles.
Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’, Josh said: “His directing style – he really wants actors to follow like their intuitions, so he’s very much open to kind of having the actors kinda give their input. He has a very free, kind of like open process, which is lovely.”
The ‘Hunger Games’ star’s comments come after he made his own directorial debut in 2017 with ‘Ape’ – which was part of a series of five shorts produced by the actor and his mother Michelle Hutcherson’s Turkeyfoot Productions, Indigenous Media and Condé Nast Entertainment – and said he was keen to continue working behind the camera on more projects.
He said: “I’ve always wanted to direct. Directing definitely preceded acting for me. Before I really actually started in the business, I was directing my friends in movies in Kentucky. But they hated every moment of it and would quit often, so I didn’t finish one of those projects. Now I’m going for redemption. I’m absolutely addicted to directing.”

Kate Hudson’s son Ryder is her ‘little helper’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson’s teenage son Ryder is her “little helper”.
The 39-year-old actress welcomed her daughter Rani – her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa – three months ago, and has said that now her oldest son Ryder, whom she has with ex-husband Chris Robinson, is a teenager, he’s become her “mate in the journey of Rani” as he lends a hand around the house.
Kate – who also has Bingham, seven, with former fiance Matt Bellamy – said:
“I think if you have a lot of kids under a certain age, it’s really crazy. Ryder is like – he’s got it. He’s good. He doesn’t need much from me right now except real support and being there for him, but he doesn’t need the same kind of nurturing as he did. It’s a different kind of nurturing.
“He checks out and he goes to his room, does his homework, comes back down. He comes plays with Rani for a bit, but it’s not like he needs the same thing.
“I really kind of have two kids that I have to be super hands on with, whereas Ryder’s my mate in the journey of Rani. He’s my little helper. Bing’s a good helper, too.”
But the ‘Bride Wars’ star insists she’d “never” let 15-year-old Ryder babysit his siblings.
She added: “I will never let Ryder babysit. I love my son, but he’s not babysitting. I’d probably let Bing babysit before I let Ryder babysit.”
And after raising two boys, Kate is so pleased she now gets to parent a baby girl.
Speaking to E! News, she said: “I would have been happy with a boy, but I have to say having a girl is pretty spectacular and very different. She’s quite a feminine girl. You never know what energetically how they’re going to come out and she’s very feminine. The sounds are feminine. Her hands – someone said she just vogues. She’s voguing all the time. Her hands are always framing her face … she’s such a good girl.”

WWE announces UK Performance Centre

OHMYGOSSIP — WWE is opening its first International Performance Centre in the UK.
Ahead of NXT UK’s ‘Takeover Blackpool’ event on Saturday (12.01.19), the company has unveiled plans for its own training facility almost six years after launching its base in Orlando, Florida.
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque – Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative – said: “This is the latest milestone in our global localisation strategy and the next step in establishing local NXT brands around the world. We are incredibly proud to open the UK Performance Centre and provide our NXT UK Superstars the same world-class coaching and development programs that we deliver at WWE’s Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida.”
The 17,000 square feet facility will be the first of its kind for WWE outside the US as it looks to continue to grow its local brands around the world.
Boasting two training rings, top class strength and conditioning equipment and “versatile content creation infrastructure”, the centre will allow the company to develop UK-based talent like never before.
The NXT UK roster already features the top names in the industry, including WWE United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne, who will defend the title against Gallus leader Joe Coffey in Blackpool this weekend.
Meanwhile, his British Strong Style teammates Tyler Bate and Trent Seven – together known as the duo Moustache Mountain – will be facing Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) to crown the brand’s first tag team champions.
Appearing on ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Friday (11.01.19) ahead of the official announcement, Trent said: “We’re going to be able to go straight from here to our secret location, our new NXT UK Performance Centre, right after this.
“So fantastic news coming out all the way through the day. The fact that we get to go back, the fact that we’ve had this investment… for the other wrestlers and the British wrestling fanbase, it’s pretty exciting.”

Stacey Dooley defends her new show from haters

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Dooley hit back at Twitter users who have criticised her taking a job as the host of new BBC Three show ‘Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star’.
The 31-year-old star – who was crowned the winner of the last series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – was announced this week to be helming the programme which will see judges L’Oreal’s Val Garland and Mac’s Dominic Skinner pick a winner from 10 contestants competing to win a contract assisting the world’s top makeup artists.
Following the announcement, Stacey was inundated with tweets from people accusing her of turning her back on her journalism roots and claiming she has “sold out” to a mainstream audience.
But Stacey was quick to defend herself and posted a series of tweets making it clear why she was taking the job on and why people are wrong to criticise her career choice.
She tweeted: “This is such a Stone Age assumption.
You can care about human issues, the planet and also be into fashion. You can also take time out to look after yourself mentally
“For those tellin me you’re suddenly doing ‘trivial’ work … I’ve been filming stories covering rape, incest, drugs, murder and war for a decade. It’s a privilege to cover these issues, but I also need to take time out to enjoy the lighter side of life.
“Also. Dancers and make up artists are incredibly talented. I’m lucky to work alongside them. The idea that talent is exclusively measured on how academic or intellectual you are is SO ridiculous. Snobbery and judgement not really my thing. Anyway. Off to nail my routine (sic)”
‘Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star’ will air later this year.

Felicity Jones: Sets are sacred

OHMYGOSSIP — Felicity Jones thinks movie sets are “sacred”.
The ‘On The Basis Of Sex’ actress gets easily distracted so has developed a “mental process” in order to get into character and focus on her work so she can give the best performance possible.
She said: “I can’t help but be focused. I admire those characters that fly a bit too close to the sun. And I feel the set is a sacred place. When you walk on to it, I like to be in character as much as possible.
“I get distracted so easily that I’ll start chatting before a take, and then I’ll completely lose my thread.
“So I have developed a mental process where I like to be in that person’s headspace – quite quiet and focused. You need that in order to take risks.”
The 35-year-old actress loves the inclusivity of her job because she spent so many years feeling like an “outsider”.
She said: “I’m definitely interested in the stories that are put out there and having more say in them. I felt like a bit of an outsider growing up. I always had a sense of not being in the cool gang; not being on the inside.
“What I love about what I’m doing now, is that I’ve worked with people from all over the world. Hollywood is getting better as a place to harness talent, and getting the right person for the right job.”
When she isn’t working, Felicity likes nothing more than relaxing with a good book, no matter where she is.
She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “‘I love reading. It’s my favourite activity in the world, and I always have a book in my bag. At the moment I’m enjoying ‘Swing Time’ by Zadie Smith. It’s excellent.”

Jennifer Lopez strives to evolve

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez “constantly” tries to “evolve”.
The 49-year-old singer-and-actress worries about getting “stuck” so is always pushing herself to do new things and transform her career.
She said: “I am constantly trying to evolve and to not get stuck.
“It happens to people – you look at them and think, ‘She got stuck or she let herself go.’ ”
The ‘Second Act’ actress insists things don’t have to decline as a person gets older because there’s always an opportunity to make changes and keep “growing” and it’s only people’s own perceptions that hold them back.
She told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “There’s this terrible idea that you get to a certain age and just plummet downwards. I don’t believe that at all.
“You can always reinvent. You can always make a change. You can always keep growing.
“I believe that you can keep getting better and better and better. The only thing stopping you is you.”
The ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker recently admitted she has a hard time saying no because she doesn’t want to miss out on anything, but as she’s gotten older, she’s learned how to be more selective over the work she takes on.
She said: “It’s hard for me to say no, and it always has been. I’ve always been this person who takes on a lot because I love so many things. I love acting. I love making movies, I also love making television. I love performing live … When opportunities come, it’s hard for me to say no. But what I think I’ve learned, and what I’m trying to do now at this point in my life is to say no a little bit more and hone it down to working smarter instead of working all the time. Which, it gets tiring.”

Saoirse Ronan treasures normal life

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan loves leading a “normal” life.
The ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actress enjoys her career but is thankful to have supportive friends and family around her that can take her out of the “bubble” of Hollywood.
She told Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I love going to work, but it’s lovely to have a normal life, and your friends and your family and the people who are close to you; you can get so wrapped up and disappear into the work bubble.”
Saoirse has been nominated for a number of awards in her career but when she doesn’t win, she much prefers the quiet support she receives from her loved ones than insincere messages of condolence.
Recalling one particular ceremony, which she attended with her friend and ‘Brooklyn’ co-star Eileen O’Higgins, she said: “I think it was at the BAFTAs.
“I knew I wasn’t going to win or anything, but people do that thing when you lose, they come up to you and go, ‘Oh, you were robbed!’ And I’m like, ‘Come on, let’s just have a glass of wine.’
“But when I didn’t get it, Eileen literally just held my hand, gave it a squeeze and said, ‘Love you, pal’. And I said, ‘Love you too’. And that’s better.”
The 24-year-old star finds it frustrating that some people have dismissed her films as “women’s movies” because they have a female lead as she insists the stories are universal.
She said: “With ‘Lady Bird’,the amount of guys who would come up to me – and I had it with ‘Brooklyn’ as well – and be like, ‘I’m not usually into films like that, but ah… I really liked that, and I even cried a little bit because I loved it so much.’
“And I’m like, ‘What kind of films do you mean?’ Of course, they mean female-led movies. But the thing is, whether there’s a girl or a boy leading it, ‘Lady Bird’ is about someone preparing to leave home. That’s it. And the more specific you can make it to one person’s experience, the more universal it will be.”

James Middleton reveals secret depression battle

OHMYGOSSIP — James Middleton has revealed his secret battle with depression.
The 31-year-old entrepreneur called his illness a “cancer of the mind” and said he decided to speak openly about his mental health struggles after being inspired by his sister Duchess Catherine, her husband Prince William and Prince Harry, who are advocates for mental health.
In an article he wrote for the Daily Mail, James explained: “I feel compelled to talk about it openly because this is precisely what my brother-in-law Prince William, my sister Catherine and Prince Harry are advocating through their mental health charity Heads Together.
“They believe we can only tackle the stigma associated with mental illness if we have the courage to change the national conversation, to expel its negative associations. So it wouldn’t be honest to suppress my story. I want to speak out, and they are my motivation for doing so.
“I know I’m richly blessed and live a privileged life. But it did not make me immune to depression. It is tricky to describe the condition. It is not merely sadness. It is an illness, a cancer of the mind.”
Speaking about his illness, James revealed that it completely took over his life for a year, until he sought treatment over 12 months ago.
He wrote: “During the day I’d drag myself up and go to work, then just stare with glazed eyes at my computer screen, willing the hours to tick by so I could drive home again,” James wrote.
“Debilitating inertia gripped me. I couldn’t respond to the simplest message so I didn’t open my emails.
“I couldn’t communicate, even with those I loved best: my family and close friends.”
James – who has also been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) – went on to explain that although he never contemplated suicide, he “didn’t want to live in the state of mind” he was in either.
However, he contacted his doctor who put him in touch with a therapist and he feels that he now has his illness under control.
James also revealed that he asked his doctor to initially explain his condition to his family and he praised them for helping him “enormously”.

Harry Styles dating model Kiko Mizuhara?

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles is reportedly dating model Kiko Mizuhara.
The 24-year-old musician is believed to have met the Japanese-American beauty in Tokyo, which he has visited several times recently and the pair are said to have grown close, according to The Sun.
They have also followed each other on Instagram.
Kiko, 28, was born in Dallas but raised in Japan and along with modelling, has also branched out into acting and singing.
While Harry has starred in ad campaigns for fashion house Gucci, Kiko has worked closely with Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld.
Harry has been single since splitting from model Camille Rowe in July after a year of dating.
Harry and Camille reportedly parted ways as they were unable to strike a balance between their careers and their love lives.
The split reportedly came just two weeks after the 24-year-old singer completed his 89-date world tour on July 14.
Their break-up came as a surprise as pals of Harry had previously insisted the pair seemed “happy and well-suited”.
An insider said of their romance: “He’s very protective of his relationships so isn’t going to want to make a big show of things. They are well suited and seem happy. She’s a real star on the rise.”
The ‘Sign of the Times’ hitmaker’s relationship with Camille came just one month after he parted ways with food blogger Tess Ward.
He has also previously been linked to Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Caroline Flack.

Dave Mustaine: There are no rockstars left

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Mustaine doesn’t think there are any rockstars left.
The Megadeth frontman has bemoaned the current generation of rock musicians for being scared to put a foot wrong, in fear of their antics being picked up in the headlines.
He admitted: “There are no more rockstars. You know what you got? You got a lot of snot-nosed kids that work at music magazines – no offence.”
The 57-year-old rocker blames it on the “internet” and music press for making it more about gossip than the music.
He told Metal Hammer: “But there used to be an honour code between the bands and the music magazines.
“Then the internet came out and started tearing bands apart, and it became normal happenstance where people would make a story just to destroy the bands.
“It became more important about who the writer was rather than the bands they were covering.
“I yearn for the days when it was about the music and not about the reviewer.”
The ‘Sweating Bullets’ hitmaker also admitted he thinks that record stores that solely sold heavy metal records – that are few and far between nowadays – were a big part in inspiring the next generation of bands and that the only difference now is that there are streaming services making it much easier to release and consume new music.
Asked if he thinks it has gotten harder or easier for budding metallers to do well, he said: “It’s a double-edged sword. It’s so much easier for new bands to get their music out, but it’d be safe to bet one of my balls on the fact that Scott (Ian, Anthrax frontman) used to go into the same record store I did in San Francisco called The Record Well.
“And the fact that back then you could find a record store that’s strictly metal, and you walk in there and the person behind the counter will know you, and you can walk in and they can tell you what’s new. ‘The new Tank record’s out!’ or ‘The new Raven album’s out!’ or, ‘Dude, what do you think of the new Witchfinder General?’ And we were in there, like, ‘God damn, these are my people!’ It just feels great when you used to go into one of those stores, and you see people there that are like you. There’s not a lot of stores out there like that any more.”

Brian McFadden Dancing On Ice drama

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian McFadden suffered a bad fall just before his ‘Dancing On Ice’ debut.
The former Westlife singer is due to take to the ice on Sunday (13.01.19) for his first performance in the ITV competition but his professional partner Alex Murphy has revealed that a fall during the week has left him feeling anxious.
She told The Sun Online: “We had a fall, it was pretty bad.
“He was really anxious after that but I told him not to worry and hopefully it’s out of his system.”
However, Alex believes he has nothing to worry about and she can’t wait for him to show off his skills on the ice.
She said: “He has come on drastically from when he first started and could hardly stand on the ice. “He’s also lost weight from all the training, but he doesn’t think so because he still eats burgers.”
Brian’s fall comes after fellow competitor Melody Thornton admitted she has had a number of accidents during rehearsals, including smashing her face on the ice.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer said: “The worst for me is there’s a little bitty part of the blade in the back of your skate that if you put your other skate on top of that and then move an inch, you will just fall out of nowhere. It’s like getting shot. It’s crazy.
“I was trying to put one foot behinds the other and I stepped on my blade and went backwards flying but landed on my face. It was so intense. You immediately want to cry. It’s like when you’re a kid and you can’t help it.
“I’ve fallen on my hips and things and the bruising is like ‘wow, OK’.”

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel sacrifices

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson “sacrificed” for her role in ‘Captain Marvel’.
The 29-year-old actress stars as the titular character in the upcoming Marvel movie and her co-star Samuel L. Jackson – who reprises his role as Nick Fury – says her workouts to prepare for the movie were “insane”.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about workout videos of herself that Brie showed him, Samuel, 70, said: “I was, like, ‘She’s insane! What are you doing? Are you pushing a car up a hill? What the hell? What’s going on?’ She sacrificed.”
He also revealed that the friendship between their characters is a huge factor in the movie.
He said: “We’re strangers when you meet us [in ‘Captain Marvel’]. But the creation of our relationship in that movie is very genuine and very honest so that by the end of it, you really think these two people care about each other.”
Meanwhile, Brie previously revealed she did “nine months” of training for ‘Captain Marvel’, followed by three months of stunt training for two hours every day.
She said: “I did nine months of just training, training, and three months of stunt training with the stunt team where we spent two hours every day, five days a week. It wasn’t until we started shooting and I started doing all my own wirework, stunts and flips and stuff that people were like, ‘You know, nobody… now we’ll tell you; nobody actually does this.’ I was like, ‘Huh.’ But I love it. It definitely makes things more complicated in certain ways because I can be taking a lot more naps than I am.”
‘Captain Marvel’ is set for release in March 2019.

Kelly Rowland wants Solange collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Rowland wants to collaborate with Solange Knowles again soon.
Although the star has ruled out an upcoming Destiny’s Child reunion with Solange’s sister Beyoncé and their other bandmate Michelle Williams, she admitted that a project with Solange could be a possibility.
Kelly, who recorded ‘I Got So Much Magic, You Can Have It’, with Solange for her ‘A Seat At The Table’ album, told Billboard: “I’m a huge fan. I love her writing and how detailed and particular she is. I always wanted to figure out how the heck she has so many different layers of harmonies when she is constructing these vocals, and it’s so complex but simple. It’s genius. It’s the genius in her genius mind that she has in there.”
Speaking about Beyoncé and Michelle, she added: “It’s so funny. I guess every time people see us together, they just see music but I just see sisterhood, and that’s what we are and that’s what me, her, Michelle [Williams] and Solange and I are. People see us all together, they immediately think music. I’m like, no. Just family.”
However, Kelly, 37, is taking inspiration from Destiny’s Child for her upcoming album and will record an empowering song, encouraging women to love their bodies, like Destiny’s Child did with ‘Bootylicious’.
She said: “Obviously, when you think of a song like ‘Bootylicious’ that Destiny’s Child had, that theme is apparent. There’s a song that I did in the studio that I love so much that talks about that. I’m not going to get into it, but it’s really cool. It’s going to be on the record, possibly. I’ve recorded so many damn songs.”
