Kim Cattrall to reconsider Sex and the City 3 role?

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Cattrall is reportedly reconsidering doing another ‘Sex and the City’ movie.
The chances of a third instalment in the popular comedy franchise based on the popular HBO show – in which Kim portrays sex-mad publicist Samantha Jones – were dashed after the actress was locked in an alleged feud with co-star Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) last year.
Further to this, the executive producer of the TV series and subsequent movies, Michael Patrick King, claimed that the pair had fell out over pay disparity, with Cattrall allegedly asking to be paid the same as Parker.
However, an insider now claims there is still a chance that the pair will reunite with the cast for another film.
A source told the new issue National Inquirer magazine: “Playing Samantha Jones changed Kim’s life. It made her more famous than she could have ever imagined, and also made her very rich.
“The cheques are still coming in from the films and TV show. Never say never when it comes to making another film.”
Speaking in December, Parker admitted it was “not something we are talking about right now”.
But she left a glimmer of hope, adding: “I just don’t have a clue.”
Kim and SJP were reported to be in a feud after it was claimed Kim had been the cause of the third ‘Sex and the City’ movie being cancelled, due to her alleged diva demands on set.
The actress then publicly slammed Sarah Jessica by claiming she had a “toxic” relationship with her, and later accused her of “exploiting” her tragedy after she sent her condolences to Kim when her brother passed away.
Kim said: “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona. (sic)”
However, Sarah, 53, insisted she was “not in a fight” with Kim.
The ‘Failure to Launch’ star slammed the idea of there being a “catfight” between her and her former co-star – who made scathing comments about Sarah Jessica last year – and was adamant that she had “never fought” with the 62-year-old star.
She said: “If one more person calls this a catfight … I’m not in a fight.
“I never fought with Kim. I don’t have to send any gifts to Kim, because I’ve never done anything. She has felt perfectly comfortable to say lots of things. That’s the beauty of living in a democracy, but I have no apologies, meaning, this isn’t a catfight.
“This is someone who chose to talk about something and myself, I remain grateful for her work and the role she played on and off camera for all the years we spent together.”

Nick Cannon apologises to women for R. Kelly collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cannon has admitted he’s “turned a blind eye” in the past with regards to the ill treatment of women in the entertainment business.
The 38-year-old star has addressed the accusations of sexual assault against R&B star R. Kelly made by a host of women in the new Lifetime documentary series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’, and admitted he believes the “real issue” is the lack of respect for women in general, claiming that the industry has been “built by evil and predatorily spirits and male chauvinistic behaviour”.
Nick – who was previously married to Mariah Carey – released the song ‘Gigolo’ with Kelly, 52, in 2003, and has admitted he feels like “a guilty sinner of the blatant disrespect” towards women for releasing the explicit track, and has issued an apology, though he insists he doesn’t wish to judge “any man” for their past “actions”.
Alongside a series of clips from the promo for the song – which features somewhat derogatory lyrics about strippers – he wrote on Instagram: “#TBT After much self reflection and meditation, I have to be one of the first to admit that in my past I’ve DEFINITELY turned a blind eye to a lot of darkness in this industry. Let’s stop beating around the bush and call it what it is. This entire industry was established and built by evil and predatorily spirits and male chauvinistic behavior. And since the recent media outrage pertaining to @RKELLY I have realized that the REAL issue at hand is the ultimate lack of care and disrespect for our QUEENS… (sic)”
Calling for women to start being treated as the “superior” sex, Nick concluded: “… For far too long we have treated women like second class citizens, when in actuality they are the source, our core, and the Superior beings … I’m not judging ANY man for his past or his private actions because I too am a guilty sinner of the blatant disrespect even in some of the statements in the song above. (sic)”
Kelly has denied all the allegations made against him and has threatened legal action against his accusers and the makers of the series.

Jennifer Saunders and Adrian Edmondson plagued by rat

OHMYGOSSIP — Adrian Edmondson and his wife Jennifer Saunders are being plagued by a rat at their house.
The couple – who have been married 33 years – were suspicious that they had an unwanted guest at home who keeps sneaking in to their kitchen to steal food so Ade set up a night camera to get definitive proof of the raiding rodent.
The 61-year-old comic actor has tried everything to catch the rogue rat with no success so shared a video of the pest scurrying around his kitchen with his Twitter followers to get tips on what he can do to rid his and ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ creator Jennifer’s home of the rattus family member.
He tweeted: “To quote UB40: ‘Rat in mi kitchen what am I gonna do?’ It’s going everywhere except inside the lovely humane trap. I’ve tried cheese, bacon fat, and bread. (sic)”
Ade’s followers were quick to reply with one recommending he use a “dart and blowpipe” to kill the rat just like his alter ego Eddie Hitler used in comedy series ‘Bottom’ in the episode ”S Out’ when trying to catch a hedgehog he and friend Richie Richard – played by the late Rik Mayall – mistook for a Womble on Wimbledon Common.
However, one follower offered up a more useful solution, tweeting: “Serious answer: apparently rats love chocolate. I heard of a guy here who catches rats and says chocolate has the best success rate
I would probably end up in the rat trap myself.”
On screen Ade has a history of problem rodents.
In the acclaimed 80s sitcom ‘The Young Ones’ his character Vyvyan has a pet hamster called Special Patrol Group – aka SPG – who talks in a Glaswegian accent and often turns against his owner with violent consequences.

Piers Morgan undergoes mystery hospital tests

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan underwent “extensive hospital tests” on Friday (11.01.19) for a mystery illness.
The 53-year-old outspoken television presenter took to Twitter on Friday to reveal he had been hospitalised for an unknown reason, and said that after undergoing a series of tests, he had been told he is “not going to die”.
Posting a picture of himself wearing a hospital gown and a nasal breathing tube, Piers wrote: “Bad news… after some extensive hospital tests this morning it appears I’m not going to die.
“I can only apologise for all the upset & offence I know this development will cause. (sic)”
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ host did not reveal why he was hospitalised, or what the tests involved, but his tweet comes after he was taken to hospital last month and diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.
Piers had been told by Doctor Hilary Jones during an episode of ‘Good Morning Britain’ just hours before his December hospital visit that he was “over the worst” of his illness.
The following day, he said on the show: “Doctor Hilary yesterday diagnosed me and said, ‘Don’t worry you’re over the worst.’
“I ended up in hospital yesterday and got diagnosed with bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.
“Thanks Hilary.”
Piers had declared he was a “sweaty mess” and had chest pain and difficulties breathing, when show bosses called Hilary to assess Piers’ issues.
He groaned: “10 days into the cold I’ve come out with these terrible sweats all morning.
“Is it the expulsion of demons or could it be the beginning of the end?”
Hilary replied: “It’s run its course, you’ve been suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection.
“By soldiering on it probably kept the virus going a little bit. You are over the worst of it though.
“It doesn’t normally last several weeks, but at this time of year it’s not unusual.”

Christina Aguilera praises Lady Gaga for R. Kelly comments

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera praises Lady Gaga after she removes R.Kelly duet ‘Do What U Want’ from streaming services.
Lady Gaga revealed this week she would be taking down the 2013 track from “all streaming services” following the accusations of sexual assault made by a host of women against Kelly in new Lifetime documentary series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’.
And now 38-year-old Christina – who recorded a special duet version of the song with Gaga, which they performed together on ‘The Voice’ in 2013 – has spoken out in defence of their version of the song, praising it for showing “women sticking together”.
Posting several images of the performance on Twitter, the ‘Liberation’ singer wrote: “This is a reminder of women sticking together– and not letting a man take ownership of a great song/ moment… And if anything the message of this song remains that although you may have had my body, you will never have my heart, my voice my life or my mind.
“Being a survivor of past predators myself, these lines spoke to me, which is why I did the song. I embrace all survivors of sexual and domestic violence and abuse holding a special place in my heart, and you @ladygaga, for doing the right thing! (sic)”
Christina’s post comes after Gaga, 32, apologised to her fans for working with R.Kelly on the original track in a social media post addressed to her 77.6 million followers on Twitter.
She wrote: “I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously.
“What I am hearing about the allegations against R Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible. As a victim of sexual assault myself, I made both the song and the video at a dark time in my life. My intention was to create something extremely defiant and provocative because I was angry and still hadn’t processed the trauma that had occurred in my own life. The song is called Do What U Want (With My Body), I think it’s clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time.
“If I could go back and have a talk with my younger self I’d tell her to go through the therapy I have since then, so that I could understand the confused post-traumatic state that I was in – or if therapy was not available to me or anyone in my situation – to seek help, and speak as openly and honestly as possible about what we’ve been through.
“I can’t go back, but I can go forward and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault. I have demonstrated my stance on this issue and others many times throughout my career. I share this not to make excuses for myself, but to explain. Til it happens to you, you don’t know how it feels. But I do know how I feel now. I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again.
“I’m sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner”.
Kelly, 52, has denied all the allegations made against him and has threatened legal action against his accusers and the makers of the series.

Behati Prinsloo suffered postpartum depression

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo suffered from postpartum depression following the birth of her first child.
The 30-year-old model has daughters Dusty Rose, two, and Gio Grace, 10 months, with her husband Adam Levine, and has said she struggled with her mental health when she gave birth to her first daughter, and is thankful that her life post-pregnancy has been “easier” the second time around.
She said: “I got pregnant [with Gio] seven months after I had my first baby. I’ve been modelling for 15 years and when I got pregnant I didn’t want to do anything, I wanted to enjoy my time. I really liked being pregnant and not working. When I got pregnant the second time, I just did the same thing.
“After my first baby, I had a little postpartum depression and it was difficult to get back into normal life. But after the second one, everything felt so much easier; it was easier for me to work out, breastfeeding was easier. No one pressured me to return to work, not even Victoria’s Secret, who I was under contract with – they never asked me when I was going to be back.”
Although she felt no pressure to return to the runway, Behati went back to work just eight months after giving birth to Gio, and says she “felt so empowered” by the decision.
She added: “I felt so empowered. I was like, ‘I can DO this. I have two kids.’ It was a beautiful journey; I loved being pregnant and I enjoyed getting back to work.”
And after spending much of her pregnancy in “yoga pants”, the beauty says she’s “finally enjoying getting dressed again”.
Speaking to Net-a-Porter, Behati said: “I’m finally enjoying getting dressed again. I was pregnant and then breastfeeding for so long that I was literally living in yoga pants. But a few months ago I put them on and was like, ‘No, it’s time to put on jeans and wear a normal outfit.’ I love jeans and a T-shirt.
“Adam gets me crazy sneakers and I have a closet full of shoes, but I usually wear Dr. Martens. I’ve never been the kind of girl who wears heels in the day – it makes me feel uncomfortable and I’m way too tall [5ft 11].”

Dwayne Johnson slams ‘snowflake’ generation

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne Johnson has slammed young people for “looking for a reason to be offended”.
The 46-year-old actor and professional wrestler has hit out at the younger generation, claiming they are ruining the hard work of people who “fought for freedom and equality”, by trying to find more reasons to be “offended”.
He said: “So many good people fought for freedom and equality – but this generation are looking for a reason to be offended. If you are not agreeing with them then they are offended – and that is not what so many great men and women fought for.”
The ‘Rampage’ star says the world has come a long way in terms of equality and acceptance, but believes “generation snowflake” is doing more harm than good to the movement.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Dwayne added: “We thankfully now live in a world that has progressed over the last 30 or 40 years. People can be who they want, be with who they want, and live how they want.
“That can only be a good thing – but generation snowflake or, whatever you want to call them, are actually putting us backwards.”
Dwayne has expressed an interest in politics in the past, and was the subject of rumours last year that he might be looking to run for president of the United States, after he was reported to have had “under-the-radar” meetings with experts from across the political spectrum.
The ‘Baywatch’ star then said that whilst he was “flattered” by the rumours, he was on a mission to gain more “information” about politics before he made any kind of formal commitment.
He said: “This is where you get me in trouble. [The meetings are] just really to understand more and to learn more … The idea of running for president has been very flattering that a good amount of people have been wanting me to run and, honestly, it’s so flattering, but I feel like the most respectful thing I could do is just learn as much as I could possibly do.
“Like, to become president, that is a skill set that I feel like you have to know. You have to put in the time – like years and years of service, so anyway, that’s where I’m at. I just want to learn as much as I possibly can.”

Kelly Rowland wants Solange collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Rowland wants to collaborate with Solange Knowles again soon.
Although the star has ruled out an upcoming Destiny’s Child reunion with Solange’s sister Beyoncé and their other bandmate Michelle Williams, she admitted that a project with Solange could be a possibility.
Kelly, who recorded ‘I Got So Much Magic, You Can Have It’, with Solange for her ‘A Seat At The Table’ album, told Billboard: “I’m a huge fan. I love her writing and how detailed and particular she is. I always wanted to figure out how the heck she has so many different layers of harmonies when she is constructing these vocals, and it’s so complex but simple. It’s genius. It’s the genius in her genius mind that she has in there.”
Speaking about Beyoncé and Michelle, she added: “It’s so funny. I guess every time people see us together, they just see music but I just see sisterhood, and that’s what we are and that’s what me, her, Michelle [Williams] and Solange and I are. People see us all together, they immediately think music. I’m like, no. Just family.”
However, Kelly, 37, is taking inspiration from Destiny’s Child for her upcoming album and will record an empowering song, encouraging women to love their bodies, like Destiny’s Child did with ‘Bootylicious’.
She said: “Obviously, when you think of a song like ‘Bootylicious’ that Destiny’s Child had, that theme is apparent. There’s a song that I did in the studio that I love so much that talks about that. I’m not going to get into it, but it’s really cool. It’s going to be on the record, possibly. I’ve recorded so many damn songs.”

Brie Larson ends engagement?

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson has reportedly ended her engagement to Alex Greenwald.
The 29-year-old actress got engaged to the musician in May 2016 following several years of dating, but it seems their romance has been put on hold, as sources claim they’ve “taken a step back” from their engagement for the time being.
An insider told People magazine: “They have taken a step back from their engagement for the time being but they remain close.”
The couple have kept their relationship out of the spotlight, but the ‘Captain Marvel’ actress did describe him as her “person” whilst at the Screen Actors Guild awards in 2016.
She said at the time: “He’s the other half of the equation – how can you explain support? I mean, it goes beyond anything. He’s just my person, he’s my best friend.”
And then that same year, when Brie was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress at the Oscars for her performance in 2015 thriller ‘Room’, she included Alex in her acceptance speech.
She said: “Jacob Tremblay, my partner through this in every way possible. My real partner, Alex Greenwald, I love you.”
Meanwhile, fans are unlikely to hear confirmation of the split from Brie, as she recently described herself as a “diligent secret-keeper”, thanks to her work on ‘Avengers: Endgame’, in which she had to mentally “delete” the plot line of the movie to avoid spoiling it for the fans.
She said: “I just never wanted to feel like I was going to slip up or that I was going to say the wrong thing. I was like, ‘I can’t live with myself being the one that spoils something.’ So I really just deleted it. I tried my best to journal it if I want to recall it and go, ‘Oh yeah, that was a crazy time.’ And I’m excited when the movie comes out to finally be able to talk about it and go, ‘Yes, this was crazy.’ But my family doesn’t know. I haven’t talked to anybody about anything because I’m just a very diligent secret-keeper.”

Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine’s email romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine “fell in love over email”.
The 30-year-old model married the Maroon 5 frontman – with whom she has two daughters, Dusty Rose, two, and Gio Grace, 10 months – in 2014, and has said the story of their romance first began when he contacted her for a role in a music video, and stayed in touch over email.
She said: “I met my husband through a mutual friend. Adam was looking for a girl for a music video that could do some action stuff, and our friend was like, ‘You should meet Behati because she’s a total tomboy and down for anything.’ So he emailed me asking if I could do it. I ended up not doing it, but we kept emailing each other. It was such a natural correspondence that we kind of fell in love over email.”
And after being smitten with each other for a month, they met for the first time when Behati went to LA for a job, and insists it was “love at first sight” when they finally laid eyes on each other.
She added: “A month later, I went to LA for a job, and that was the first time we met in person. I remember walking in: I opened the door, and it was the classic moment where the light shines into the dark studio and everyone turned to look at me. He had boxing gloves on and he came to hug me — it was so awkward. Then he took me for dinner and we talked for hours and had the best time. It was love at first sight, it was crazy.”
The Victoria’s Secret model and the ‘Sugar’ hitmaker even briefly split up early in their dating life, but quickly realised it was “the worst decision”.
Speaking to Net-a-Porter, Behati said: “We broke up for two months, realised that it was the worst decision, then got back together, got engaged and got married. It was a wild ride!”

Tom Hardy welcomes third child?

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy has reportedly welcomed a baby boy with his wife Charlotte Riley.
The 41-year-old actor – who already has 10-year-old son Louis with Rachael Speed, and a three-year-old daughter with Charlotte whose name has never been revealed to the public – is believed to have welcomed his third child into the world last month, with sources claiming the tot has been named Forrest in a nod to the titular character from ‘Forrest Gump’.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “The couple are over the moon with the new addition to the family. Friends are already saying that the baby boy looks exactly like Tom.
“They’ve been laying low over the festive period so they can get used to having a busier household and adjusting to the needs of a newborn.
“They love the name Forrest as it’s earthy and strong. Tom has always found the movie ‘Forrest Gump’ very inspiring and enjoyable and thinks it fits.”
As of the time of writing, neither Tom nor Charlotte have commented on the reports.
Meanwhile, the ‘Venom’ star admitted in August last year that he doesn’t think there’s a “harder job on the planet” than parenting.
He said: “There is no harder job on the planet, and more important, than parenting.
“You’ve got the military, police, doctors, service personnel – massive respect, huge consequences – but parenting? It’s beyond a job, isn’t it.”
Prior to the birth of their second child together, Tom and Charlotte, 37, relocated from their mansion in south west London to a more rural area on the outskirts of the city after being pestered by an obsessive female fan, as they wanted privacy for their new arrival.
A source said at the time: “Tom is living his new life in the country and has been seen dog-walking every morning. He feels it’s the perfect place for him and Charlotte to bring up their new baby.”

Kehlani is ‘really excited’ to give birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Kehlani is “really excited” to give birth.
The 23-year-old singer is expecting her first child with her guitarist Javie Young-White, and has said she can’t wait to welcome her daughter into the world in a few months time, because she’s always been “interested” in the “extreme pain but also extreme beauty” of childbirth.
She said: “This is weird but I’m really excited to [give] birth. I’m really excited to experience that, just because I’ve always been interested in the birth process my whole life. If I had enough free time and I wasn’t wrapped up in music, I’d probably be a doula or something.
“But just to feel what the surrender feels like – completely surrendering to the entire process of being in extreme pain but also extreme beauty, it’s very ceremonial for me. So I’m really excited for that.”
The ‘Nights Like This’ singer went on to share her concerns about becoming a parent, particularly as someone in the public eye.
She added during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio: “I think just the pressure of me being this quote, unquote, famous celebrity person who has always been open, that now has to consider protection. What if she does not want that? So I just want to make sure whatever she wants, however she wants to live her life, is how she gets to do that regardless of how I live my life, or regardless of how I navigate through my space.”
Meanwhile, Kehlani recently opened up about her battle with prenatal depression, as she insisted her pregnancy has been difficult.
She wrote on social media: “2 days away from the 3rd trimester and this has been the hardest thing ever.
“From not knowing anything about prenatal depression nor understanding it while it’s been hitting me like a bag of bricks, to being very isolated and alone internally and externally these days, to just the normal terrible sleep/no appetite/anxiety.
“The struggle to recognize your body in the mirror, the struggle to not feel like no matter what, no one understands. (sic)”

Margot Robbie: I’m a terrible actor

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie thinks she’s a “terrible actor”.
The 28-year-old actress has been nominated for several awards including Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globes, but admits she still isn’t confident in her own abilities, as she says she often has a “crisis of faith” in which she convinces herself she isn’t good at her job.
She said: “I have a huge crisis of faith and convince myself that I’m a terrible actor and I’m not actually any good at my job.”
And the ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ star says it’s often up to her 29-year-old husband Tom Ackerley to convince her of her talents.
She added to Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “My husband (Tom) is like ‘OK you know you say this every single time, you know this happens the week leading up’ … and then the first day is done and I’m like, ‘I think I can do this’.”
Meanwhile, Margot recently revealed she finds it “uninspiring” to be cast as “the wife or the girlfriend” in movies, and said she was careful about what roles she accepted early in her career so as not to be typecast in roles that would be “the catalyst for the male story line”.
She said: “When I was trying to make my name as an actress, creative roles for women were limited. I didn’t want to pick up another script where I was the wife or the girlfriend – just a catalyst for the male story line. It was uninspiring.”
In 2014, the ‘Suicide Squad’ star set up her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, and can’t believe it has taken Hollywood so many years to realise that more movies should be made “for women”.
She added: “When we set out to create our company, it was sort of a new idea, but then in response to the #MeToo conversation it was all that anyone was talking about. People were like, ‘Why don’t we make movies for women?’ Uh, what a revelation, right?”

Anne Hathaway found Oscars criticism tough

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway says the hardest part about hosting the Oscars is “finding out how you actually did” the next day.
The 36-year-old actress hosted the Academy Awards ceremony with James Franco back in 2011, and has said that whilst it seemed easy at the time, the tricky part came with facing news reports and social media posts the day after, which evaluated her performance.
She said: “The next day. Finding out how you actually did. Because it feels nice, everybody tells you it’s going well while you’re doing it. While you’re doing it, it’s like doing anything, you know?”
But the ‘Ocean’s 8’ star insists that it doesn’t matter if a host “bombs” their performance, because they’re still “lucky” to have had the chance to take part in the prestigious event.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she said: “My approach to all this stuff is really simple: we’re lucky. Whether or not it does well or it bombs, this is the stuff of dreams. This is not something to get upset about. Now, that being said, when it really bombs, it does sting a bit. I think it might end up being a net positive over life. Well, the lessons that I learned, the life lessons about who to trust and when to trust them, that’s going to be the net positive.”
Anne’s comments come as the upcoming 2019 Oscars ceremony, which is due to take place next month, is still searching for a host, after Kevin Hart stepped down from the role when historic homophobic tweets he had made were resurfaced.
It seems the ceremony could even go ahead without a host for the first time in 30 years, as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are now said to be lining up a select group of A-listers to introduce the segments rather than one host.

Felicity Jones: Sets are sacred

OHMYGOSSIP — Felicity Jones thinks movie sets are “sacred”.
The ‘On The Basis Of Sex’ actress gets easily distracted so has developed a “mental process” in order to get into character and focus on her work so she can give the best performance possible.
She said: “I can’t help but be focused. I admire those characters that fly a bit too close to the sun. And I feel the set is a sacred place. When you walk on to it, I like to be in character as much as possible.
“I get distracted so easily that I’ll start chatting before a take, and then I’ll completely lose my thread.
“So I have developed a mental process where I like to be in that person’s headspace – quite quiet and focused. You need that in order to take risks.”
The 35-year-old actress loves the inclusivity of her job because she spent so many years feeling like an “outsider”.
She said: “I’m definitely interested in the stories that are put out there and having more say in them. I felt like a bit of an outsider growing up. I always had a sense of not being in the cool gang; not being on the inside.
“What I love about what I’m doing now, is that I’ve worked with people from all over the world. Hollywood is getting better as a place to harness talent, and getting the right person for the right job.”
When she isn’t working, Felicity likes nothing more than relaxing with a good book, no matter where she is.
She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “‘I love reading. It’s my favourite activity in the world, and I always have a book in my bag. At the moment I’m enjoying ‘Swing Time’ by Zadie Smith. It’s excellent.”

Jennifer Lopez strives to evolve

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez “constantly” tries to “evolve”.
The 49-year-old singer-and-actress worries about getting “stuck” so is always pushing herself to do new things and transform her career.
She said: “I am constantly trying to evolve and to not get stuck.
“It happens to people – you look at them and think, ‘She got stuck or she let herself go.’ ”
The ‘Second Act’ actress insists things don’t have to decline as a person gets older because there’s always an opportunity to make changes and keep “growing” and it’s only people’s own perceptions that hold them back.
She told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “There’s this terrible idea that you get to a certain age and just plummet downwards. I don’t believe that at all.
“You can always reinvent. You can always make a change. You can always keep growing.
“I believe that you can keep getting better and better and better. The only thing stopping you is you.”
The ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker recently admitted she has a hard time saying no because she doesn’t want to miss out on anything, but as she’s gotten older, she’s learned how to be more selective over the work she takes on.
She said: “It’s hard for me to say no, and it always has been. I’ve always been this person who takes on a lot because I love so many things. I love acting. I love making movies, I also love making television. I love performing live … When opportunities come, it’s hard for me to say no. But what I think I’ve learned, and what I’m trying to do now at this point in my life is to say no a little bit more and hone it down to working smarter instead of working all the time. Which, it gets tiring.”
