Cheryl to release new song in March

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl will release a new single in March.
The 35-year-old singer doesn’t like to tell fans a “specific date” for when she’s bringing out new songs but has confirmed they will get to hear the follow-up to ‘Love Made Me Do It’ soon.
Speaking on ‘The One Show’, she said: “I am releasing a new song in Marchish, I never like to give a specific date.”
And the ‘Greatest Dancer’ star – who has 22-month-old son Bear with former boyfriend Liam Payne – teased the track will head in a different direction to her comeback single.
She added: “It is a bit more uptempo.”
The former Girls Aloud singer recently admitted she’s got a new appreciation for her career after taking a four-year break, but insisted she needed the time out.
She said: “I needed it. You get into a routine and are on a treadmill for years and years. When you have a break, you have time to refocus and re-appreciate everything. It feels good.”
The music industry has changed in the time the ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker has been out of the spotlight and Cheryl admitted she has no definite plans in place to bring out a new album.
She said: “I have a body of work so I do have enough material for an album but since I’ve been gone, streaming has come in so I will release singles and possibly do an album sometime.”

Mark Jordon and Laura Norton kept engagement a secret for 7 months

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Jordon and Laura Norton kept their engagement a secret for seven months.
The ‘Emmerdale’ stars’ revealed earlier this month that they had got engaged in 2018, and Laura – who plays Kerry Wyatt on the ITV soap – has now confirmed he popped the question last summer.
In response to a congratulatory tweet from actors’ management agency Winterson’s, Laura wrote: “I mean …. it was 7 months ago … but … you’re very cute. Thank you (sic)”
The news of the pair’s engagement broke on January 2nd when Mark – who plays Daz Spencer in ‘Emmerdale’ – admitted he was “elated to have heard the word ‘yes'” from Laura, following a mixed 2018.
He tweeted: “Well 2018 had some of the highest highs and the lowest lows. Really got to feel the love of true friends . Feel blessed by the support of my children and elated to have heard the word “yes ” from the most beautiful woman in the world (sic)”
Mark, 35, shared a picture of Laura yesterday (17.01.19) from the day he proposed.
He wrote on Instagram: “Little did she know [ring emoji]”
Mark has also played down speculation that he and Laura might be leaving ‘Emmerdale’ after he shared a music video she stars in.
The 53-year-old star tweeted: “The uniquely talented @lawrencenotrin while filming a music video for the brilliant band @BehindShields (sic)”
One fan wrote: “Are you two leaving the Dales?”
But the former ‘Heartbeat’ star replied: “I see your logic , this was a while back (sic)”
Last month, Mark pleaded not guilty to attacking a pensioner.
He appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester in December where he denied wounding and common assault following an alleged incident on July 1 in Oldham, north west England.
Mark was granted bail by judge Mark Savill until his trial, which is scheduled to take place on July 29.

James Burrows swerving shop after ‘awkward’ employee exchange

OHMYGOSSIP — James Burrows is swerving his local Marks & Spencer for the foreseeable future after an employee wouldn’t take no for an answer that he did the architecture on her house.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star admits he won’t be going back into the shop “for a while” after an “awkward” exchange with a counters assistant, who claimed she recognised him from working on her abode, despite him insisting it was a case of mistaken identity.
When asked about his strangest fan encounter, he said: “I had a bit of a weird one yesterday – it was quite awkward.
“I went into M&S, and the lady on the counter said, ‘I recognise you, where do I know you from?’
“I replied, ‘Maybe ‘Coronation Street’?’
“And she said, ‘No, sorry, it’s not that – were you the architect for my house?’
“I told her ‘no’ but she wasn’t having it. I won’t be going back there for a while.”
While James didn’t do the lady’s architecture, he has dabbled in the construction industry in the past, and still does from time to time.
He said: “I’ve done a lot of work in construction since I was 15 or 16 years old, and I still do a bit for family and friends.
“That’s probably what I’d be doing now if I wasn’t acting, I’m handy around the house.”
However, James isn’t likely to follow in his ‘Corrie’ alter-ego Ali Neeson’s footsteps of becoming a doctor anytime soon because he “wouldn’t be the best” medic.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, he added: “I’m massively squeamish. Also, I’m a smoker, so I wouldn’t be the best – I’d be a bit of a hypocritical doctor.
“I’ve done first-aid training, though, so I could assist in an emergency – I could perform CPR.”

Lady Gaga influenced by movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga’s future music will be influenced by ‘A Star is Born’.
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker “learned so very much” while working with Bradley Cooper on the movie musical and which she wants to continue furthering her knowledge, she’s admitted her upcoming songs will be partly inspired by her award-winning performance in the film.
Speaking backstage at the Critics’ Choice Awards – where she tied for Best Actress and also won Best Song for ‘Shallow’ – she told reporters: “Absolutely, [the film] will influence my future music. But that’s not to say I haven’t already written some music, so it will be a mixture of both.
“But I’ve learned so very much and I hope that I will always be a student. I think that that is where you stop being a great artist when you start believing that there’s nothing left to learn. There is always something to learn and I always want to be a student and I think that’s how you master your craft, by learning and being a sponge.”
However, the 32-year-old star declined to say whether a musical collaboration with her co-star and director is on the cards, insisting any future plans they have together will remain “in a locked box”.
She said: “I will always be supportive of him in whatever way he chooses to go, and I feel the same way from him.
“We talk about future films for me, he gives me advice. He’s wonderful, but as far as future collaborations, I guess that’s going to stay a secret.”
Though she’s thinking about her upcoming music, Gaga is also planning to continue acting too.
She said: “I will definitely continue acting. I love acting. I loved acting on ‘American Horror Story’ as the Countess for Ryan Murphy, and I loved acting in A Star is Born for Bradley Cooper. It was a tremendous experience, and I want to continue to do more, but I am a bit spoiled. I’ve had some fantastic directors and fantastic visionaries.”
Earlier in the evening, Gaga grew emotional when she picked up the Best Song honour at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica as she recalled playing ‘Shallow’ to Bradley for the first time.
Standing with co-writer Anthony Rossomando, she said: “Thank you for this beautiful award. This means the world to us. I’ll never forget when we wrote this song together with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
“I’ll never forget playing it for Bradley for the first time and seeing his face light up and then singing it live together, take after take . . . I was mesmerised both as myself and as my character Ally. I was basking in the brilliant transformation of Bradley into Jackson Maine, singing on his stage, and overwhelmed by the storytelling and power in his voice.”

Shane Filan: Westlife will probably always be a four-piece

OHMYGOSSIP — Westlife “probably” won’t ever reunite with Brian McFadden.
Shane Filan has insisted the Irish band – completed by Markus Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan – have seen the ‘Flying Without Wings’ hitmakers as a four-piece ever since they broke up in 2011, and don’t see Brian, who left in 2004, ever returning to the group.
Shane, who hasn’t spoken with the 38-year-old singer in a decade, told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “We will always see it as a four.
“It’s nothing against Brian. It’s just he left and we went on and became a four-piece. We’re still a four-piece and we will probably always be a four-piece. I haven’t spoken to Brian in 10 years.
“We did nine years without Brian. We made six albums without him. It would be different if we all ended six years ago and we were a five-piece and now we’re four.
“But we have been a four for three-quarters of the band’s time, including the time off.”
The band’s manager, Louis Walsh, previously admitted he only wanted the “Fab Four” to be involved in any reformation, not Brian, who left the band to pursue solo projects, and said “never say never” to rejoining his former bandmates in the future.
Louis said of their reunion: “Brian won’t be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally.
“The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife.”
The 66-year-old Irishman said he wanted it to be just the four of them because they’d be “happy”, and said it was more convenient considering three of them all live in the same town.
When asked if Brian begged to be included, the former ‘X Factor’ judge replied: “No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people.
“They all know each other, they all respect each other.
“Three of them live in the same town in Sligo, so it makes more sense.”
The band made a comeback last week with their Ed Sheeran-penend single, ‘Hello My Love’, and have a new album and upcoming 20th anniversary tour.

Sair Khan warns Corrie viewers about heartbreaking scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Sair Khan has warned ‘Coronation Street’ viewers about more “heartbreaking” scenes which have left the cast in tears
The 30-year-old soap star – who plays Alya Nazir on the cobbles – has admitted while new boss Iain MacLeod has promised more “comedy and character”, there are still some gloomy storylines in the pipeline.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “We’ve just been reading the most heartbreaking ‘Coronation Street’ scripts.
“I’ve been weeping like a baby – a lot of us were. We will be wrecks by the end of it.”
The show’s direction under previous producer Kate Oates sparked controversy, with many longtime viewers hitting out at the darker storylines, including a serial killer, drug addiction, male rape and grooming.
When Iain took over the ITV soap, he said ‘Corrie’ was “at its best when it’s go comedy in it” to balance out the “key, heartbreaking poignant stuff”.
And now Sair – who recently appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – has admitted things might not be getting any easier for the soap’s fans in the future.
She added: “The viewers are in for one hell of a rollercoaster.”
Last year, it was revealed that ‘Corrie’ would manage to balance the light and dark with at least one future storyline, with Iain revealing that Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) will get pregnant.
The cobbles boss suggested the story – which will see Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) trying to cope with the surprise news – could have a ‘Family Guy’ twist.
He added: “It’s also really funny. Steve and Tracy dealing with a teenage pregnancy is not like a normal couple dealing with a teen pregnancy!
“There are scenes reminiscent of Peter Griffin in ‘Family Guy’ – Steve goes fully postal at certain times. It’s very funny, classic Steve with that ‘Corrie’ heart. It’s heartbreaking but ridiculous at the same time.”

Katie McGlynn admits Corrie future is ‘up in the air’

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie McGlynn has admitted her ‘Coronation Street’ future is still “up in the air”.
The soap star’s pregnant alter ego Sinead Tinker has been diagnosed with cervical cancer – on Monday’s (14.01.19) episode it will be revealed that she requires immediate radiotherapy – and the actress has revealed she still doesn’t know how the storyline will end after she has an emergency Caesarean with husband Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) by her side.
She told the Sunday Post: “I’m contracted well into this year but it is up in the air. Although I have to wait and see what happens, I quite like not knowing.
“With the nature of my storyline, I guess it’s 50/50. Either way I’d be happy, though.”
The on-screen couple’s newborn baby Bertie is rushed away by nurses in the emotional scenes after Sinead collapses.
If the storyline does mean the end of the character on the cobbles, Katie has admitted she will have mixed feelings because while leaving the show would be sad, it will give her new opportunities as an actress.
She added: “I’ve really enjoyed my time on the Street and it’d be amazing if I got to stay as it is like a family here.
“But at the same time, as an actor, I’d love to go out there and see what there is. I like doing different things and it’d be exciting to see if I could play a different character again.”
Her comments come after ‘Corrie’ boss Iain MacLeod admitted he he still “hasn’t decided” whether to kill off Sinead or not.
The executive producer previously said: “It’s a really long running story and we genuinely haven’t decided what we are doing with the ending.
“Certainly, the longer it goes on the harder it becomes to kill Sinead because Katie and Rob have been so good in it – they’re almost acting their way off the butcher’s block.
“I have an open mind about it. There’s a beautiful story to tell with an optimistic ending but equally, a very truthful story to tell where it doesn’t work out.”

Lady Gaga praises Bradley Cooper

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga hailed Bradley Cooper the “love of [her] life” in her Critics’ Choice Awards acceptance speech.
The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker shared the Best Actress honour with ‘The Wife’ star Glenn Close at Sunday’s (13.01.19) ceremony and used her time on stage to pay tribute to her ‘A Star is Born’ co-star, who also directed the movie.
She said: “Bradley, you are a magical filmmaker. And you are just as magical of a human being. I have never had an experience with a director or an actor like I had with you,” she said. “And I will cherish it forever.
“You seamlessly were both the love of my life and the man behind the camera.”
Gaga dedicated the award to those who have battled addiction and alcoholism, as well as those who have watched their loved ones suffer.
She received a standing ovation as she said: “I wanted nothing more to show the truth and power of this very heartbreaking dynamic.”
Earlier in the evening, the 32-year-old star grew emotional when she spoke about Bradley as she picked up the Best Song prize for ‘Shallow’.
I was basking in the brilliant transformation of Bradley into Jackson Maine, singing on his stage, and overwhelmed by the storytelling and power in his voice.
“This song is a conversation between men and women, asking each other questions about life . . . and the shallowness of a modern era. I’m so happy it resonated with you.”
And before Gaga left the stage at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, she also gave a shout out to fiance Christian Carino.
She said: “Thank you, Christian, my love. Thank you.”

Roma leads Critics’ Choice winners

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Roma’ led the winners at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards, taking home four gongs including the coveted Best Picture.
The Netflix drama scooped Sunday (13.01.19) evening’s biggest honour at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, beating off competition from the likes of ‘Black Panther’, ‘BlacKkKlansman’, ‘The Favourite’, ‘First Man’, ‘Green Book’, ‘A Star is Born’, ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’, ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and ‘Vice’ to take the coveted honour, while Alfonso Cuaron was recognised with Best Director and the movie also took home Best Cinematography and Best Foreign Film.
Accepting the Best Picture award, Alfonso said: “This bunch of Mexicans are not as bad as sometimes they are portrayed.”
He also thanked Netflix for “bringing this film to the people in the mainstream.”
‘Vice’ scooped three wins, for Best Hair and Best Make-Up, as well as Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy for lead star Christian Bale, who portrays former US Vice President Dick Cheney.
As he accepted the honour, he said of the film: “Time sort of allows it to be considered a comedy but it’s really a tragedy.”
‘Black Panther’ also took home three prizes, for costume and production design and special effects.
The Best Actress award was shared between ‘The Wife’s Glenn Close and ‘A Star is Born’s Lady Gaga, who also started the evening by winning Best Song for the movie’s ‘Shallow’.

The former ‘Glee’ actor made the audience laugh with his self-deprecating speech.
He said: “I realise these moments are fleeting. I am very lucky to be here. I’ve never been to the ceremony before. I don’t know if I will come again. So while I’m here, because I do cherish these moments, I just want to say, and it’s very simple thing but it comes from the heart.
“Thank you for this honour, especially because statistically inevitably the critiques will probably not always be as generous. I would like to take this as an opportunity to apologise for any future lackluster performances and I hope that when that happens, you will remember this moment because I certainly will.”

John Krasinski dedicates Critics’ Choice win to family

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife Emily Blunt and their children in his acceptance speech at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards.
The 39-year-old actor’s movie ‘A Quiet Place’ sees John and Emily – who have four-year-old Hazel and two-year-old Violet together – play on-screen couple Lee and Evelyn Abbott in the post-apocalyptic horror film.
On Sunday (13.01.19), the movie was named Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie at the prestigious awards show, where John, who called ‘A Quiet Place’ a “love letter to his kids”, admitted it would have been impossible to make without his family.
Speaking on stage at the star-studded ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, he said: “Thank you so much. Wow. I don’t know what’s going on right now.
“I blacked out about six seconds ago.
“I want to say thank you to all the incredible kindness that has been shown to this film.
“The critics, but most of all, everyone out there that’s seen or loved this movie.
“It means the absolute world to our crew and to our cast.
“I got to make a movie about a love story and a love letter to my kids.
“I got to do it with the love of my life by my side, so I’m pretty sure it doesn’t get much better than that. Thank you so much.”
The movie’s producer Andrew Form joined John on stage and hailed the ‘Monsters University’ star a “visionary filmmaker”.
He said: “The truth is this movie doesn’t exist without the visionary filmmaker John Krasinski.”
John played various roles in the movie, co-writer, producer, director and leading star.
Emily and John were seen sharing a hug on stage after the speeches.
Meanwhile, Emily, 35, was nominated for Best Actress for ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ – which also received a nod for Best Film – but lost out to ‘The Wife’s Glenn Close and ‘A Star is Born’s Lady Gaga – who tied for the honour.

Chrissy Teigen regrets attending Critics’ Choice Awards hungover

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen admitted it was a “big mistake” attending the Critics’ Choice Awards hungover.
The 33-year-old model threw her musician husband John Legend – who she has Luna, two, and seven-month-old son Miles with – a huge James Bond-themed 40th birthday the night before the ceremony in Santa Monica on Sunday (13.01.19), and confessed that it was a little ambitious to agree to walk the red carpet and attend the drinks reception after the heavy celebrations.
She tweeted: “Why oh why god did I agree to the people or critics choice whatever it is the night after John’s party this was a big mistake huge yes this is a fancy problem.”
She added: “The people critics is a good name. (sic)”
Chrissy still managed to drop heads in a strapless white Maison Yeya gown, whilst John opted for an earthy brown marbled suit.
The stunning brunette beauty exclaimed to press on the red carpet that she was “so tired” as they arrived at the glitzy bash.
Meanwhile, the Bond birthday saw golden numbers “040” replacing the suave secret agent’s 007, whilst Chrissy wowed in a golden gown.
The power couple’s close pals Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West and Kourtney Kardashian were among the attendees, with them all taking it in turns to put on their best Bond or Bond girl impressions in a fancy golden photo booth styled like the movie ‘Casino Royale’.
The couple’s young children, Miles and and Luna, also played a part in the evening.
Their little boy wore an adorable black jacket tuxedo, which Chrissy got her social media followers to pick, with the other option featuring a white jacket.
She tweeted earlier in the day: “okay guys. throwing john’s 40th birthday party tonight but need your help dressing mini-john. Which one! (sic)”
Whilst Luna melted hearts in a white and gold number which was seen on Chrissy’s Instagram Stories.

Lady Gaga cuts short celebrations for horse

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga rushed away from the Critics’ Choice Awards to be with her dying horse.
The 32-year-old singer-and-actress had a lot to celebrate on Sunday (13.01.19) after winning Best Actress for ‘A Star is Born’ – an honour she shared with ‘The Wife’ star Glenn Close – and Best Song for the movie’s ‘Shallow’, but she cut short her night and returned home to be with her beloved pet Arabella in her final hours.
She wrote on Twitter: “I am so honored and blessed to have won both Best Song and Best Actress alongside Glenn Close this evening. My heart is exploding with pride. But it saddens me to say that just after the show I learned that my dear angel of a horse, Arabella, is dying.
“I am rushing to her now to say goodbye. Her name means ‘yield to prayer.’ She is and was a beautiful horse. Our souls and spirits were one. When she was in pain, so was I. I will never forget the moments we shared. Long hikes together, galloping through the canyons. Feeding her cookies.
“She will forever be a part of me. I am so very sad. But I wish for your pain to end, and the gates of heaven to open for you. I love you. Girl, where do you think you’re goin’?(sic)”
Earlier in the evening, the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker had spoken of how hard she had to push herself to play struggling singer Ally in the movie.
She told the audience at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar: “I’m so honoured by this. I went to places in my mind and in my heart that I did not know existed…this is a tremendous honor. I feel recognised not just for my performance but for the inner work it took in the creation of this character.
“It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. To relive something that I’m not quite sure I wanted to relive but I was able to be vulnerable in a way that I never have before because of that love and that trust.”

Chris Pratt engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt is engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor has proposed to his partner – the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – after a whirlwind romance over the summer.
Sharing a romantic snap of the pair on Instagram with Katherine’s engagement ring on show, Chris wrote: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!
“I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
It is the first relationship the 39-year-old star has been in since his split from ex-wife Anna Faris in the summer of 2017, while the former flames finalised their divorce in November.
Although Chris and Katherine have only been together since June, it was previously said that they are both “hopeful for the future”.
A source recently said: “They’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future.Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine.
“She’s very excited… [They] are very happy together. They’re very compatible and have a lot in common.”
Meanwhile, the couple’s happy news comes after Anna – who is dating Michael Barrett – said she and Chris “work really hard” to be supportive of each other in the wake of their split for the sake of their six-year-old son Jack.
She previously revealed: “Chris and I work really hard ’cause we have Jack, that is sort of the long game idea and making sure Jack is really happy, which makes us really happy. We have sort of the luxury of circumstance.
“You know, we are both in other loving relationships … but it is … it’s like how do you not in general sink into a place of bitterness?
“I do want to reiterate though, that I f***ing acknowledge, we all do, everyone acknowledges, that there is bitterness and pain with all breakups and that hopefully makes us all human. But the long game is just the worst being the bigger person. It just is. It f***ing sucks until, then what happens though, is that everyone’s happy.”

Gemma Collins wants to wait till 40 to have a baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins wants to wait until she’s 40 to have a baby.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ star – who is in a relationship with ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star James Argent – has revealed she wants to focus on her career for the next few years before she settles down to start a family.
Speaking to the Mirror Gemma, 37, said: “I’m not having a baby until I’m 40. I’m not broody. I have got so much on work-wise.
“If I was to have a baby, I would want to give it 110 per cent. I wouldn’t want anyone else looking after my baby, I wouldn’t leave it with anyone.”
Gemma also revealed that once she does decide to become a mother, she would look to balance parenthood with her work life.
She added: “My baby would come with me to work, to photo shoots, everywhere. I will be the ultimate full-on, hands-on mum.”
Her comments come after she recently suggested she also has some things she wanted to tick off before she becomes a mum.
She previously said: “My children will be fabulous – they’re going to come out with glitter on their heads, perfect white teeth… they’ll just be fabulous.
“But 40? That’s the right age for me. I’m not ready to hang about for nine months, I want to have a boob job after Dancing on Ice, and go to Dubai for three months. I want them done before I have a baby.”
Meanwhile, Arg could have very different ideas after he tagged Gemma in an Instagram snap of him cuddling a friend’s baby, and admitted he wanted to be a father.
He simply wrote: “I’M BROODY @gemmacollins1”

Dermot O’Leary reveals ‘terrible’ X Factor moment

OHMYGOSSIP — Dermot O’Leary has revealed the “terrible moment” Katie Waissel thought he dropped the c-bomb to her.
The ‘X Factor’ presenter is no stranger to live television, and while he’s managed to avoid any major mishaps, he has opened up about one very awkward moment on the singing competition back in 2010.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, he said: “I haven’t dropped the F bomb yet. There was a terrible moment when Katie Waissel was on the show.
“She was in the sing-off and I said: ‘Good luck hun,’ but when it was replayed on YouTube it sounded like I said: ‘Good luck…’ and then the worst swear word you can think of, to the point where she came in and asked for an apology.”
It could have been very embarrassing for Dermot, but his producer defended him at the time and insisted there was no need for him to say sorry for the mishap.
He added: “My producer said: ‘He can’t apologise for something he didn’t say!’ ”
Meanwhile, the 45-year-old presenter also defended the show – which has been on air since 2004 – for its falling ratings over the years, and he insisted the team don’t care “too much” about the viewing figures, instead putting their focus on making quality TV.
He said: “If I’m honest with you, we don’t worry too much about ratings, we’re just trying to make a good show.”
Dermot’s comments come ahead of him hosting this year’s National Television Awards at the O2 Arena in London on January 22, and he recently admitted he hopes security will be tightened up after a protester was able to get on stage during last year’s ceremony.
He previously said: “I hope the security will be better this year. I was surprised a stage invasion could even happen. He started walking from outside the arena and essentially walked all the way through and on to the stage. He wasn’t dressed in a tux or anything, so I don’t know how it happened.”

Ed Sheeran’s piping hot hits start with a warm brew

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran’s piping hot hits always start with a warm brew.
The ‘Perfect’ hitmaker has revealed that the secret to his songwriting success is never hitting the booze and instead putting the kettle on before he starts writing.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, the 27-year-old superstar said: “I only ever create sober. I like to be alert. I find ideas happen when you have a cup of tea.”
Meanwhile, the flame-haired singer also revealed that parents of children with ginger hair often come up to him and thank him now that it’s considered cool to have ginger locks.
He said: “Parents with children with ginger hair come up to me and go: ‘It’s cool to have ginger hair.’
“I was ribbed about it at school, it was the thing that got me noticed.
“Now everyone loves (Prince) Harry and Rupert Grint (‘Harry Potter’ star). Ladies love Grint.”
Ed teamed up with fellow red head Jess Glynne last year to tackle ginger prejudice on her track ‘Thursday’.
The ‘Rather Be’ hitmaker explained: “We talked about that (being redheads).
“It’s weird. I don’t understand why there is such a prejudice about it in this country.
“I’ve definitely heard all the ginger jokes. But guys get it a lot harder. I think it affected Ed more. But maybe people like Ed and me, we’re changing that. I love my hair. It is what it is, right?”
Meanwhile, the ‘Cold Coffee’ singer – who is believed to have secretly married childhood friend Cherry Seaborn in 2018 – has a number of songs brewing which he’s hoping to release in 2019, before he goes on a break.
The ‘A Team’ hitmaker previously revealed he won’t release his next album until “late 2020” as he wanted to take another long hiatus, but he now has a “collection” of tracks that he wants to share with the world before he disappears from the public eye again.
Ed’s new music is separate to the song he’s penned for the forthcoming Beatles movie by Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis, which is as-yet-untitled, which also sees him play himself.
He said recently: “I’ve just finished the film … and I’ve got some stuff coming out.
“I can’t really say for certain when, or what it is, it’s just a collection of songs and I don’t know whether it’s going to be one song, five, or 15.”
Ed’s last album was 2017’s multi-award-winning ‘Divide’.
