Kathy Bates shed 60lbs through ‘mindfulness’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathy Bates feels like a “completely different” person after losing 60 pounds.
The ‘American Horror Story’ star has opened up about her weight loss journey and how her “little niece” taught her to simply train her mind to “push the plate away”.
Asked how she shed the pounds, she told Us Weekly magazine: “Mindfulness, just knowing when to push my plate away.”
She continued: “My niece told me this little, secret, I guess it’s no secret, it’s a biological thing, that at some point when you’re eating, you have this involuntary sigh and that’s really your brain and your stomach communicating that you’ve had enough.
“The trick is to pay attention to that and push your plate away. ‘It took a few years. I would say you have to be really patient … I don’t like the word willpower, but I like the word determination.”
The 70-year-old actress battled both ovarian and breast cancer in 2003 and 2012 respectively, and feels the healthiest she has ever been, but she wishes she had decided lead a fitter lifestyle “years ago”.
She said: “I have never been in such good health. I just had a physical. I’m doing great … I feel like a completely different person. I can move, I can walk. I just wish I had done it years ago.”
Kathy underwent a double mastectomy, and previously revealed she chose not to get reconstructive surgery as she doesn’t believe she needs to “pretend” that she has breasts.
She said: “I’ve joined the ranks of women who are going flat, as they say. I don’t have breasts – so why do I have to pretend like I do? That stuff isn’t important. I’m just grateful to have been born at a time when the research made it possible for me to survive. I feel so incredibly lucky to be alive.”

Olivia Attwood gets stolen cars back

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Attwood has been reunited with her stolen cars.
The former ‘Love Island’ star and her boyfriend, Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack, were the victims of a burglary in which both their Mercedes cars were taken, and although the cars have been safely returned to the couple they will never get their stolen personal possessions back.
Writing on her Instagram Stories, the blonde beauty said: “So so happy to say BOTH mine And brads cars have been recovered by police.
“They had been abandoned not long after I posted on here, so can’t thank everyone enough for getting the word out, because it probably made all the difference.
“As for the handbags, watches, laptops etc that were stolen from inside the house, we will never see those again. But they are just material things that luckily for us can be replaced.”
The 27-year-old reality star went on to explain how she felt violated by the theft, and praised the Manchester police for their response to the crime.
She wrote: “The feeling of someone being in your home and going through your things is quite sickening, All because some people in this world are too low and disgusting to earn a living like the rest of us.
“Manchester police have been amazing and karma will ultimately catch up with people like this. Thank you for all your messages (sic).”
Earlier in the week, Olivia detailed the burglary and urged fans to come forward with information about the stolen goods, which included two Rolex watches, Chanel and Louis Vuitton bags and new Apple laptop.
She wrote: “Some disgusting ***** have stolen 2 cars from outside mine and brads house in Manchester…
“If anyone knows anything and want to contact us anonymously me or Brad, we will pay a cash reward. Also had 2 rolexs stolen a black Chanel handbag, Louis Vuitton, brand new Mac book (sic)”

Megan Barton Hanson is ‘jealous’ Wes is with Dancing On partner 12 hours a day

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton Hanson can’t help but feel “jealous” that her boyfriend Wes Anderson is spending 12 hours a day with his ‘Dancing On Ice’ partner Vanessa Bauer.
The 24-year-old reality television star feels as though Vanessa, 22, is getting the best of her man on the ITV show, whilst she gets Wes when he returns home tired after rehearsals and her jealousy is the reason why she lashed out at the 22-year-old figure skater on social media this week.
When asked whether her “insecurities” had caused her to attack Vanessa online on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (17.01.19), Megan said: “I feel like it’s natural, the first year of living with someone is hard anyway. Whether we both had 9 to 5 jobs, whether we weren’t in the public eye. Then to have Wes to have three hours a night when he’s exhausted after doing 12 hours a day training, I think it’s normal. It’s not like insecurity.
“I’m jealous, I’m selfish. I want to have him I want to have the best bits. I want to be parading around in ice dressed in sexy Lycra dancing with him not have the tired West at night.”
In her rant on her Instagram stories, Megan – who met and fell for Wes, 20, on dating reality show ‘Love Island’ last summer – accused Vanessa of announcing her split from her partner Louis Nathaniel just hours before last Sunday’s live show, as a “tactical break up” designed to stir romance rumours between Vanessa and Wes.
She also claimed that Vanessa didn’t make any effort to introduce herself in the studio.
Megan is now sorry for her social media slam and has reached out to Vanessa to make amends after getting her phone number from Wes.
The curvaceous blonde said: “I should have got her number from Wes and just messaged her and been like, ‘Babe, I want to be friends with you, I want us to be all on the same team.’ I sent her a message last night and we are resolving it now … I want to draw a line underneath it. My priority is Wes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev doesn’t find it “weird” being friends with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and his wife Nikki Reed.
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star dated her 40-year-old co-star in the supernatural series in 2010, after meeting on set in 2009, before splitting up in 2013.
A year later, the ‘Lost’ star began seeing the 30-year-old actress – who is best known for portraying Rosalie Hale in ‘The Twilight Saga’ – and the pair got married a year later, before welcoming their first child together in 2017.
Nina has previously rubbished claims she had fallen out with Ian and Nikki two years ago, and during an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ on Wednesday (16.01.19), she defended her decision to remain close to the couple once again.
When someone phoned in and asked: “Nina, you used to date Ian [Somerhalder], and now that he’s married, is it weird that you’re friends with both him and his wife [Nikki Reed]?”, she replied: “I don’t think that’s weird at all. That’s great. Why can’t everyone be friends?
Nina insisted that she is “happy” for Ian and Nikki and said their baby daughter Bodhi, 17 months, is “beautiful”.
She added: “I think that they have a beautiful baby. They are happy – and so am I. What’s bad about that? I don’t see any problem with that.”
Speaking perviously about their amicable split, Nina said: “I’ve said this before, that we didn’t break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn’t love or friendship.
“I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he’s great and I care about him.
“And that didn’t change. Yes, we’re professional and that’s fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Post Malone and Shawn Mendes are all set to perform at the Grammy Awards.
The first wave of artists have been confirmed for the forthcoming ceremony at the STAPLES center in Los Angeles on February 11, including five-time nominee Cardi, ‘Havana’ hitmaker Camila – who is up for Best Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album – the ‘Better Now’ rapper, who received four nods including Best Pop Vocal Performance and Album and Canadian pop hunk, who has been shortlisted for Pop Vocal Album for his self-titled third studio album and Best Song for ‘In My Blood’.
They will be joined by Best Album [‘Dirty Computer’] and Music Video [‘Pynk’] nominee Janelle Monáe, and country stars Kacey Musgraves, who is nominated four times, and Dan + Shay, who received a nod for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
The star-studded line-up announcement comes days after it was confirmed that Alicia Keys is set to host the prestigious awards ceremony.
In a YouTube video, which was titled “I’m Hosting the 2019 Grammys (Alicia Keys)”, the singer is seen receiving the phone call from her manager who delivered the exciting news, as well as clips of her spilling the details to her family – including her mother, her husband Swizz Beatz, and their children, eight-year-old Egypt and four-year-old Genesis – and staff members.
Alicia then spends the rest of the video trying on outfits, and taking part in a photo shoot for promotional material alongside the 15 golden gongs she already owns herself.
In the description of the video, the ‘Fallin’ singer wrote: “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards !!
“There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life Tune in on February 10th at 5PM PST / 8PM EST. Only on CBS! (sic)”
Kendrick Lamar is nominated for the most gongs this year with eight nods to his name, with Drake close behind with seven, and Boi-1da and Brandi Carlile receiving six nominations each.
Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, Maren Morris, R&B newcomer H.E.R., and producer Sounwave all have five nominations along with Cardi.

Gladys Knight confirms Super Bowl gig

OHMYGOSSIP — Gladys Knight has confirmed she is performing the US national anthem at the Super Bowl LII.
The ‘Midnight Train To Georgia’ hitmaker says she is “proud” to have landed the gig to sing ‘The Star- Spangled Banner’ before the big game kicks off at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in her hometown of Georgia, Atlanta, on February 3, despite the controversy surrounding the flagship NFL game.
Many people – including actress Amy Schumer and pop star Rihanna, who reportedly refused to perform at the halftime show – have called on performers to boycott the event for former San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick – who was exiled from the NFL for his #TakeAKnee movement, which saw him and several other players refuse to stand during the national anthem at games because of the protest against police brutality and racial injustice.
Speaking to TMZ.com after the announcement, Knight said: “I am proud to use my voice to unite and represent our country in my hometown of Atlanta.
“The NFL recently announced their new social justice platform Inspire Change, and I am honoured to be a part of its inaugural year.”
The 74-year-old music icon’s statement comes after rapper Travis Scott faced criticism agreeing to join Maroon 5 on stage at the world famous sporting event.
However, The ‘Astroworld’ rapper reportedly spoke with Kaepernick before he agreed to the gig.
Sources told Variety that Travis had “at least one” phone conversation with the sportsman before he confirmed his appearance, and though they did not necessarily agree, they ended the chat with “mutual respect and understanding.”
The 26-year-old star is said to have taken the stance that everyone makes a statement in their own way, and he felt the $500,000 donation he and the NFL agreed to make to non-profit social-justice organisation Dream Corps, as well as the platform of the Super Bowl, would do some good.
According to the insider, Travis refused to confirm his participation until the agreed donation was locked in.
The ‘Sicko Mode’ hitmaker admitted when the donation was announced that he hopes his performance can “inspire” and praised the work of Dream Corps., who support support economic, environmental and criminal justice innovators.
He said: “I back anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in.
“I know being an artist that it’s in my power to inspire. So before confirming the Super Bowl Halftime performance, I made sure to partner with the NFL on this important donation. I am proud to support Dream Corps and the work they do that will hopefully inspire and promote change.”
Big Boi will also join Maroon 5 at the pre-game performance.

Joe Alwyn intends to keep Taylor Swift relationship private

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Alwyn says his unwillingness to talk about his relationship with Taylor Swift is “normal”.
The ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actor has been dating the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ singer for around two years and they both have been very guarded about their romance with the couple even avoiding being photographed together at the recent Golden Globe Awards and the subsequent after-parties they attended.
Joe, 27, intends to stick his rule to not talk about Taylor, 29, in interviews as he sees no justification as to why he should share details of his private life with strangers.
Speaking to Mr. Porter’s digital magazine The Journal, he said: “I don’t think more than anyone else. I don’t think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I? And then that is defined as being ‘strangely private’. Fine. But I don’t think it is. I think it’s normal.”
Despite the secrecy surrounding their relationship, both Joe and Taylor did cause a stir last year amongst the pop star’s fans when they shared very similar Instagram posts featuring the same giant cactus, but the British actor insists it wasn’t a deliberate move to make their romance official on social media.
Asked if they had shared the photos on purpose, he previously said: “No. I didn’t even think of that until I was in New York and someone else mentioned it. No, no [it wasn’t on purpose]! It wasn’t purposeful at all!”
Joe made his film debut in the critically acclaimed 2016 war drama ‘Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk’, in which he played the titular Billy, a US Army specialist who becomes a hero in Iraq but has to cope with PTSD on his return home.
Joe owes his career to that film and he considers himself incredibly “lucky” for the opportunities he has been given.
He added: “I really do owe everything to the first film that I got, and the breaks that came with that. I’m very aware that I’m very lucky that I’ve had these opportunities, and quickly.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesy Nelson is reportedly dating Chris Hughes.
The Little Mix star enjoyed a romantic evening at the magical cocktail bar The Cauldron in London last night (16.01.19) with the former ‘Love Island’ star, 26, who she has been getting to know over the last few months.
Though the 27-year-old singer is said to be enjoying single life, an insider has said there is a “definitely an attraction” between the pair.
They told The Sun Online: “It’s very early days but there’s definitely an attraction between them and they’re getting on really well.
“Jesy is enjoying her newly single status and spending time with Chris – they had fun mixing cocktails together at The Cauldron last night – and couldn’t resist posting some pictures on both their Instagram stories.
“They are taking things slowly for now but it could become something more serious.”
The ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmaker has been single since splitting with Harry James last November.
Jesy reportedly broke off the relationship with the singer-songwriter as she was “focused” on her career in the band and felt like it “made sense” for them to be apart.
A source said the split was amicable and the pair “remain good friends”.
The insider said at the time: “Jesy and Harry enjoyed their time together but have decided to call it a day.
“There are no hard feelings between them and they remain good friends – just at the moment, it makes sense for them to separate.
“Jesy is in work mode ahead of the release of Little Mix’s new album ‘LM5’ and she’s happy focusing on performances with the girls and promoting their material.”

Yungblud drops new track Loner

OHMYGOSSIP — Yungblud has released a new track called ‘Loner’.
The 21-year-old singer’s latest track premiered on Wednesday (16.01.19) night on Radio 1’s Indie Show and the ‘Kill Somebody’ hitmaker has now also unveiled the accompanying video, which was directed by himself and was shot at his grandmother’s house in Doncaster.
The alternative rock musician, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, admitted that he filmed his music video in this location as he wanted it to be a “reflection of where [he’s] from” and so he can always remember that he owes his fame to his fans.
In a statement, he said: “I created this track because it’s a reflection of where I’m from and who I am. I wanted to invite my fans and people who might not know me yet into my front room and to have a cup of tea with them. I wanted to show them what Dom looks like going to get a glass of water at 2am.
“At the end of the day, I needed to tell myself no matter what happens or how far this thing goes, that I am just a 21-year-old kid from the north of England who has been put in this position by his fans. If I ever forget that I’m in dangerous water.”
The ‘Psychotic Kids’ singer went on to explain that although he wanted the vide to demonstrate his roots, it was also to show how “alone” he’s felt “his whole life” even though he was surrounded by family and friends.
He said: “We shot the video in my Nan’s house, with my mates from school and also in the venue I played my first shows in.
“The track reflects how alone I felt my whole life no matter how many people seemed to be around me.”

Chance the Rapper removes R.Kelly collaboration from streaming services

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance the Rapper has removed his 2015 R. Kelly collaboration from streaming services, amid the sexual assault allegations made against the R&B star.
The 25-year-old rapper and singer has taken down his track ‘Somewhere in Paradise’, after allegations against R. Kelly were brought to light in the new Lifetime documentary series ‘Surviving R. Kelly’, which Chance actually appears in.
The final episode of the series includes an interview with the ‘No Problem’ hitmaker in which the rapper states he made a “mistake” when he recorded the track with Kelly, and Chance also took to Twitter to apologise to fans.
He said: “I apologise to all of his survivors for working with him and for taking this long to speak out.”
Chance is not the only artist to pull their collaboration with Kelly, after Celine Dion was reported to have pulled her track ‘I’m Your Angel’ from her holiday album ‘These are Special Times’ in an attempt to distance herself from the singer.
Lady Gaga has also chosen to take down 2013 track ‘Do What U Want’ and took to social media to condemn Kelly.
In a lengthy post, she wrote: “I can’t go back, but I can go forward and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault.
“I have demonstrated my stance on this issue and others many times throughout my career. I share this not to make excuses for myself, but to explain.
“Til it happens to you, you don’t know how it feels. But I do know how I feel now. I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again.
“I’m sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner”.

Goldie Hawn was very involved in granddaughter’s birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Goldie Hawn was “right in there” whilst her daughter Kate Hudson gave birth to daughter Rani in October.
The 39-year-old actress welcomed her third child – and first with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa – on October 2, and her mother Goldie has said she was so keen to get involved in the delivery that Kate’s doctor joked she “might fall in” if she were to get any closer.
Speaking during a special co-hosting session of ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ on Thursday (17.01.19), Goldie said: “I remember the doctor goes, ‘Goldie, you get a little closer, you might fall in.’
“I’m trying to get in on him to try to look over his shoulder, and I see the head and I’m going, ‘Oh, there’s the head!’ And then it went back.
“And [the doctor] said, ‘Goldie, if you get any closer, you’re gonna fall in.’ So I took my cue. I didn’t get that much closer!”
Whilst the pair co-hosted the show, regular host Ellen Degeneres was at Kate’s home taking care of baby Rani.
In a live feed broadcast into the studio, Ellen said: “Hey Kate, Goldie, don’t worry about me, I’ve got everything under control. You focus on the show and I am gonna take of your little darling … girl? She? I don’t know. Who cares at this age?
“We’re having so much fun. Adorable little baby, so no need to rush. You just take your time. Enjoy the show. We’ll be fine.”
Ellen then had the studio in fits of laughter as she pretended to be disgusted by the adorable tot.
Speaking to the crew off camera, she added: “Are they gone? Take it. Take it! It’s about to drool. If you need me, I’ll be at Pechanga.”
Meanwhile, Goldie’s involvement with her daughter’s third delivery comes after the 60-year-old actress previously said she had a more relaxed approach when Kate gave birth to Bingham, now seven.
She said: “I got hungry! She was in the stirrups and everything and was dilated. So I said, ‘I’m really hungry, I’m just going to come back.’ I came back with pizza and Doritos.”
To which Kate – who has Bingham with Matt Bellamy, and is also mother to Ryder, 14, whom she has with Chris Robinson – added: “The best part was when Mom called me when I was in labor and said, ‘I’m was about to take a swim and then I was going to have a massage. How long do you think you’re going to be labouring?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, Mom!’ I’m calling the nurse going, ‘Do you know how long I’m going to be labouring? My mom wants to swim.'”

Prince Philip in car crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Philip has been involved in a car crash.
The 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh – who is married to Queen Elizabeth II – was driving the car near to the Sandringham Estate on Thursday (17.01.19) when he was involved in a “road traffic accident” with another vehicle, a spokesperson has confirmed.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle this afternoon. The duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham Estate. Local police attended the scene.”
Prince Philip had been staying at the Sandringham Estate with the Queen for the Christmas period, and is said to have been checked over by a doctor at the estate.
The royal’s crash comes after last year saw him undergo hip replacement surgery in April, before falling in the bath and cracking a rib just six weeks later.
Prince Philip attended the wedding of his grandson Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, despite his injuries, as he was determined to appear without any form of walking aid.
A source said at the time: “The Duke is not a fan of showering and prefers to bathe.
“But he’s a determined man and nothing was going to stop him attending nor would he take any kind of walking aid.”
And just weeks after his hip surgery, Philip was already walking without the use of crutches, after spending nine days on bed rest following his operation on April 4.
Another source said: “The duke is already walking unaided. He has amazing willpower. When he sets his mind to something he gets on and does it.
“He has been walking up and down stairs several times in succession.
“He has also been charging across rooms at full speed. He even had to be told to slow down.”
Prince Philip retired from royal engagements in August 2017.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I was meant to be with Chris Martin

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow says she was “meant to be” with her ex-husband Chris Martin.
The 46-year-old actress – who is now married to producer Brad Falchuck – has two children, Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with her former spouse, and believes that despite their split in 2014 after a decade of marriage, they were always supposed to be “together” in order to have their brood.
She said: “Family structure can be reinvented and divorce doesn’t have to be devastating. It doesn’t have to be the end of your relationship with somebody. I think Chris and I were meant to be together and have our kids. But our relationship is much better like this: friends and co-parents and family.”
The ‘Iron Man’ star and the Coldplay frontman were separated for a year before they announced the news of their split – where they infamously used the term “conscious uncoupling” – and Gwyneth said the former couple tried their best to make sure it wasn’t “really hard” for them or their kids.
Speaking to ES magazine, she said: “We were separated for a year before we announced we were separated. We kept it very quiet, and in that time I asked adult friends with divorced parents what they remembered. There was this resounding theme: ‘It was really hard because for the first two years my parents didn’t speak. It was awful for a while,’ or ‘My parents hated each other.’ And I thought, ‘I would really love to skip that part.’ Those kids felt they were constantly betraying one parent by being with the other.”
Her comments come after Chris recently joined her, their children, and her new husband Brad on their honeymoon getaway in the Maldives.
Describing it as a “very modern honeymoon”, Gwyneth said: “We just took our honeymoon in the Maldives and we had a big family honeymoon over Christmas.
“So, my new husband and his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends [all went]. It was a very modern honeymoon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum’s fiancé Tom Kaulitz designed her engagement ring himself.
The 45-year-old model got engaged to the musician over the festive period, and sources have now claimed her special sparkler was hand designed by Tom, based on her favourite colours and gemstones.
A source said: “Tom drew the dream ring for Heidi and then went in search of the right stones. He didn’t just go to the store.
“He knew Heidi’s favourite colour was green, so he searched for the perfect green stone, an alexandrite, and then found the perfect diamonds to accentuate it.”
The Tokio Hotel musician even went the extra mile to make the ring unique, as the alexandrite stone changes colour in different lights, appearing green in natural sunlight, and red in artificial light.

For Heidi, the engagement will mark her third marriage after previously being wed to Seal and Ric Pipino, but recently said her failed marriages haven’t stopped her from believing in love.
She said: “I’ve been married twice. I still believe in love and marriage, I do. Even though I failed twice at it. I guess I’m not very good at it. I found a great person, so let’s see what happens.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty previously opened up about her romance with Tom, insisting she is tired of the age gap between herself and her boyfriend being “shoved” in her face.
Speaking about the musician – who is 17 years her junior – she shared: “I don’t really think about getting older that much – I mean, know it’s happening to me, it’s happening to all of us. But it’s not like I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and say, ‘Oh my God, oh my God.’ Lately, I’m being reminded more about my age by people other than myself.
“My boyfriend is many years younger than me, and lots of people are questioning that and asking about it. That’s really the only time when age seems to be shoved in my face and I have to give an answer for it. I don’t really think about it that much otherwise. You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds has joked that Betty White is his “ex-girlfriend” in a birthday tribute to the iconic actress.
The ‘Deadpool’ star – who is married to Blake Lively – took to social media on Thursday (17.01.19) to wish the ‘Golden Girls’ actress a happy birthday as she turned 97 years old, and joked that he had once been in a relationship with the television star, who is more than 50 years her junior.
Posting a picture on Instagram of himself and Betty during an appearance on a late night talk show, the 42-year-old actor wrote: “I don’t usually wish ex-girlfriends Happy Birthday. But Betty’s special. Happy Birthday to the one and only, @bettymwhite (sic)”
Betty’s impressive birthday milestone comes just a few months after she received a standing ovation at the Primetime Emmy Awards, where she spoke about being dubbed as the “First Lady of television”.
She said at the time: “Somebody said something the other day about first lady of television, and I took it as a big compliment.
“And then I heard her talking to her daughter a little later, and she said, ‘First lady, she’s that old. She was the first one way back.'”
But the ‘Hot in Cleveland’ star admitted it is “incredible” her career had lasted so long.
She said: “Little did I dream then, that I would be here and it’s incredible that I’m still in this business and that you are still putting up with me,” White said. “I am thanking you. It’s incredible that you can stay in a career this long and still have people put up with you. I wish they did that at home.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gina Rodriguez almost got married in her backyard.
The ‘Jane The Virgin’ star got engaged to her boyfriend of two years Joe LoCicero in the summer last year, and after admitting in September that she’s yet to start planning their wedding, she has now claimed they very nearly decided to tie the knot in their garden with no planning whatsoever.
Speaking to USA Today, she said: “To be honest, we were thinking about getting married a few weeks ago just like, in our backyard.”
And when the reporter told her they were ordained, she jokingly added: “You’re ordained? Be careful. In the rain could be amazing.”
The 34-year-old actress previously revealed that whilst she hasn’t done any planning for her nuptials yet, her fiancé does have some ideas up his sleeve.
She said: “Joe has an opinion, so that’s good. He’s not just like a do-whatever. He has an opinion. And I have a great mother-in-law that I’m hoping will do the whole thing for me!”
Gina isn’t too bothered about having a fancy wedding either, as she said she’d be happy if the couple eloped to tie the knot because she is worried about offending people when it comes to picking her bridesmaids.
She said: “I feel like we’re gonna elope. It is so much drama! It’s a lot of work. There was a point where I was like, ‘Everybody arrange everything, I just wanna show up, I just wanna do it, I just wanna say, ‘I do’, I’m happy. And then I started hearing what they wanted to do, and I was like, ‘Hmm, I don’t know about that…’ and then I started hearing about how you like, offend people. Everything you do is offensive! You know, if people aren’t bridesmaids, they’re offended … It’s crazy!”
