OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie is “so angry” that people keep asking her when she plans to have children.
The 28-year-old actress tied the knot with Tom Ackerley in 2016 and she’s frustrated that their marriage means she’s often questioned about her family plans, and she admitted she identified with scenes in her new movie ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ where her character, Elizabeth I, is pressured to produce an heir.
In an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine, she said: “It made me really angry; how dare some old guy dictate what I can and can’t do when it comes to motherhood or my own body? Unfortunately, it’s a conversation we’re still having. I got married and the first question in almost every interview is, ‘Babies? When are you having one?’ I’m so angry that there’s this social contract. You’re married, now have a baby. Don’t presume. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”
But Margot admitted she struggled to find little else in common with her character.
She said: “I actually really struggled to find things in common with Elizabeth. I definitely found empathy for her, but I react in very different ways. Probably I’m more like Mary, to be honest.”
When she’s not working, the Australian actress loves spending time with her female friends.
She said: “My female friendships are honestly the best thing in my entire life. I’ve got my group of 16 girlfriends in Australia, we’ve been friends since we were five years old. Then I have my London girls too.”

Coronation Street scribe scoops Writers Guild Award for Aidan episode

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ scribe Jonathan Harvey has scooped a Writers’ Guild Award for penning Aidan Connor’s suicide reaction episode.
The 50-year-old writer took home the Best Long Running TV Series accolade for writing last year’s ‘Corrie’ ep in which it was discovered Aidan – who was played by Shayne Ward – had tragically taken his own life, and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) opened up about being raped by evil Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton).
Reacting to his triumph, Jonathan wrote on Twitter: “Chuffed to bits. Hoorah. I take this one for the team… (sic)”
Shayne tweeted: “Huge congratulations”
His former ‘Corrie’ co-star Georgia Taylor – who plays Toyah Battersby – was quick to congratulate the former ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’ writer on his gong.
She tweeted: “Aw brilliant news! Congratulations (sic)”
Author Marian Keyes wrote: “CONGRATULATIONS Jojo!!! SO well deserved! Xxxx (sic)”
Other winners at the event, which was held at the Royal College of Physicians in London, included former ‘The Office’ star Mackenzie Crook, who was awarded the Best TV Sitcom prize for his comedy ‘Detectorists’.
‘Call the Midwife’ scribe Heidi Thomas won the Outstanding Contribution to Writing gong, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge took home the prize for Best Long Form TV Drama for Killing Eve’s fifth episode.
Jonathan’s accolade comes after Shayne previously admitted he was “completely heartbroken” and “instantly scared” when ‘Coronation Street’ bosses told him his character would take his own life.
He said: “It’s really tough to watch. I was just full of all different emotions. I was instantly scared, I was nervous, and completely heartbroken, because I knew this was more than just a storyline.
“I knew the impact it’s going to have on the public when it airs. It’s amazing ‘Coronation Street’ is covering this.
“I’m still full of all emotions.”
Despite admitting it was hard to watch his “very distressing” final scenes, Shayne praised the “clever” way Jonathan put the storyline together to tie in with David speaking out about being raped by Josh.
He added: “It was a very tough watch. My scenes are very distressing.
“Not everyone is going to have the same opinion on it. It’s not in your face. It’s very cleverly done.
“We’re trying to get it out there without saying, ‘You should talk.’
“We’ve done it in a very clever way with Jack and his storyline because he then realises, ‘I don’t want to die.’ It’s such an important message. It’s cleverly done by ‘Corrie’.
“Jack seems to be the one someone is expecting something to happen to. Jack is playing it incredibly, so everyone is quite worried he may head towards that, so we’ll see what happens.”

Saoirse Ronan shocked by Margot Robbie’s Queen of Scots transformation

OHMYGOSSIP — Saoirse Ronan was shocked by Margot Robbie’s chalk-white make-up and altered appearance when she first saw her dressed as Queen Elizabeth I when they were filming ‘Mary Queen of Scots’.
The 24-year-old actress – who plays the titular Queen of Scotland in the historical drama – was completely taken aback when she first saw her 28-year-old co-star transformed with a bright white face and red wig on set, because the pair had been deliberately kept apart before shooting their scenes together.
Appearing on the ‘BBC 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James’ together, Margot said: “We never saw each other in character until that moment when the cameras were rolling and Saoirse pulls down the last sheet between us.”
Saoirse then added: “I was anxious and there was just so much adrenaline. We had been kept apart and we didn’t know what the other one looked like. Especially seeing Margot as Margot and then seeing her with an extremely white face and the nose and the whole thing it was so extreme. They shot our close-ups simultaneously and everything that we were doing was for the benefit of the film.”
Margot had to spend hours in make-up each day to play 16th century English monarch Queen Elizabeth I as she had numerous prosthetics applied to her face to change her appearance and a wig to get the required red hair.
Although changing her appearance so drastically helped her to get into character more easily, the glued on prosthetics did make it hard for her to eat during her breaks from filming.
Margot said: “When you wear that many prosthetics it’s tricky to eat, so they were hungry days. It was quite a startling look!”
When asked if dressing in costume helped her play Queen Elizabeth I she said: “That’s the case for any character but this one had quite an extreme look and that always make it more helpful.”

Duchess Catherine quizzed on the Queen’s appetite for pizza

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Catherine was asked by a young girl if Queen Elizabeth II eats pizza during a royal visit on Tuesday (15.01.19).
The Duchess of Cambridge – previously known as Kate Middleton before she tied the knot with William – was helping some children
from St Jude and St Paul’s CE Primary School make their own pizzas during a visit to the King Henry’s Walk Garden in Islington, north London, using ingredients harvested from the community grounds.
During the cooking session, eight-year-old Nadirah decided to ask the big question about whether or not the 92-year-old British Monarch ever snacks on a slice.
Nadirah asked: “Has the queen ever had pizza?”
Catherine – who is married to the queen’s grandson Prince William, who is third-in-line to the throne after his father Prince Charles – was stumped, but promptly replied: “You know, that’s such a good question. I don’t know, I don’t know. Maybe next time I see her, shall I ask?”
Catherine, 37, then hinted that she and William, 36, make and eat pizzas at home with their older two children, Prince George, four, and three-year-old Princess Charlotte.
The duchess – who also has nine-month-old Prince Louis with William – told the kids: “They are some of the best things to make, pizzas at home, aren’t they? It’s such fun. You can choose what to put on them – all the different toppings! I quite like [bacon]. It’s like having pepperoni but not so spicy.”
When she was asked by another inquisitive youngster if they could meet her three children, Catherine said: “They would love to come and do this with you. They’ll be very sad that I’ve been out here making pizzas with all of you, and they haven’t been here.” In fact, both Prince George and Princess Charlotte are at school these days, and George, specifically, is busy spending his days “learning about space.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has shared a heartfelt Instagram post after acting as a bridesmaid for her best friend Jenna Schubart.
The 26-year-old singer-and-actress was overjoyed at taking on the role for her pal of 23 years, and she insisted Jenna and her beau had the “perfect wedding” and praised them for being the “perfect couple”.
The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker shared two selfies, showing herself posing while wearing a black long-sleeved crochet bridesmaid dress with embellished lace detailing all over, which she paired with a dramatic smokey-eye and baby pink lips.
She captioned the photos: “I was a bridesmaid yesterday for my sister / former babysitter/friend of 23 years. I love you @jennaschubart. What a perfect wedding for a perfect couple!! (sic)”
The ‘Camp Rock’ actress surrounded herself with family and close friends at the glitzy bash, and shared a video of her mother, Dianna Hart, laughing and dancing at the wedding reception as well as an adorable snap with her younger sister Madison De La Garza, 17.
She simply captioned the image: “Baby sis”.
Demi – who was hospitalised following a drug overdose last July – has also been using her social media to joke about her new-found sobriety, and delighted her fans when a post on an Instagram account caught her eye.
The meme showed a group of friends toasting around the table, with one of the women holding an imaginary glass, and had a message printed above which read: “When you’re all about that new sober life but still tryna hold onto your old ideas.(sic)”
The image, which Demi ‘liked’, was captioned: “One of these days I swear I’ll actually resemble a real human person.”

Rob Kardashian claims he had to hire security after alleged Blac Chyna attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian has claimed he was forced to hire security to protect himself from Blac Chyna following her alleged “violent attack” in 2016.
The 31-year-old reality star previously claimed his former partner – with whom he shares two-year-old daughter Dream – “consumed a significant amount of drugs and alcohol” before damaging his television, the walls, breaking down a door and destroying his phone in an incident on December 14, 2016.
And in new court documents obtained by The Blast, Rob is now claiming that following the alleged incident, he was forced to pay out over $100,000, which included hiring security guards to protect him.
China had originally filed court documents stating any alleged damages she caused to his property would only total $5,000, but the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star alleges the total damage was substantially more.
Rob claims it cost him $17,000 to “repair and/or replace only part of the property” Chyna destroyed.
Court documents state: “Invoices issued to Plaintiff prove that the cost of repairing and replacing some (but not all) of the property damage White caused exceeded $15,800 (including $12,695.47 to replace drywall, patch holes and repaint walls and $3,119.01 to replace the television White destroyed).
“Plaintiff also incurred substantial costs in changing locks and hiring security to deter additional violent attacks on his person and property.”
The partial bill stated in the documents totals $17,697.48, and doesn’t include his alleged broken cell phone or the cost of having to change his locks and provide security at his home.
Earlier this month, Chyna filed documents claiming that whilst she is planning to fight back against some of the allegations against her, she will pay for a replacement television for her former beau.
Court documents at the time read: “Chyna will present evidence that the damaged gingerbread house was a gift to her from Kris Jenner and that Rob consented to the damage done to his t-shirt. Regarding the television set, Chyna has informed them … that she will reimburse Rob for the cost to replace the television. She will generously value Rob’s t-shirt at $250.”
She also insists that her actions were “caused and necessitated by the actions of Plaintiffs, and was reasonable and necessary for Defendant’s self-defence and defence of others”.

Chrissy Teigen learning to accept her body

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen is still learning how to accept her post-baby body.
The 33-year-old model gave birth to her son Miles – whom she has with husband John Legend, with whom she also has two-year-old daughter Luna – seven months ago, and says that whilst she sometimes finds herself “struggling” to feel confident in her own skin, she thinks it’s “important” to share her body hang-ups with the world on social media, so people can see it as normal.
She said: “Every morning when I look at myself in the mirror, I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh, how did it get here? My baby was, like, four pounds and I gained, like, 60 pounds, and that seems off!’ But, you know, I think everyone’s body is just really different. That’s why, my posts of real mom s**t, and wearing the diaper, and having that mesh thing, and real postpartum business? I think as important as it is for people to see me do that, it’s also really important for me.
“I think, in a way, we’ve forgotten what a regular body looks like. There are people out there who are struggling and I’m struggling, and it’s OK to come to terms with that being OK, to realise that it’s gonna be a bit of a journey.”
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star says she knows her body looks different, but also understands that she has “beautiful” children who wouldn’t exist without the changes to her body.
She added: “I’m not blind: I see my body, I see the difference in shape, I see that I gained weight. But I also see with those same eyes that I have a beautiful baby boy, and this little girl that’s relentless and amazing, and I am very happy.
“This is a new thing that I can change within my mind, that I don’t have to be swimsuit model anymore. I get to be a mommy, and I get to cook, and I get to meet incredible people, and I’m happy to be going through this transition.”
Chrissy also notes that social media can impact her mood, as depending on the day, some negative comments about her body can make her feel awful.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping magazine, she said: “Some days, I’ll wake up and I’ll read something and it’ll totally not affect me. But if I read that same thing the next day – after a night of no sleep and a really rough day with Luna – it naturally gets to you because you’re in a sh****er mood. If I wake up, and I’m like, ‘Ugh, I feel bloated, I haven’t worked out for a few days’ and I read something about my body? That’s the day that I’m gonna speak up. It’s just crazy how judgmental people can be.”

Julianne Hough: Endometriosis interferes with my sex life

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Hough’s endometriosis impacts her sex life with husband Brooks Laich.
The 30-year-old professional dancer suffers with the condition – where tissue that lines the womb is found outside the womb, and can cause pain on your period or during sex – and has said she often finds her sex life with her husband is “cut short” because she’s in too much pain to continue.
She said: “It can definitely cut things short. Sometimes we’re in the middle and I’m just like ‘AH, stop!'”
And the former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion gets “frustrated” by her health battle, as she knows her spouse – whom she married in 2017 – just wants to make her “feel good”.
She added: “It can be really frustrating. He only wants to love on me and make me feel good.”
But the couple haven’t completely put a stop to getting steamy in the bedroom, as Julianne says there’s plenty of other ways to be “intimate” with her partner without them actually having sex.
Speaking to Women’s Health magazine, the blonde beauty said: “There’s so much intimacy without actually having sex. There are some cool things we’ve learned and it’s literally been awesome.”
Meanwhile, although endometriosis can make it more difficult to get pregnant, Julianne – who has been battling the condition since she was 15 – said last year she was keen to start a family with Brooks.
She said: “I’d probably want to start our family in the next 10 years. We’ll see how it goes, what happens. We both wanted four [kids at first] and now we’re like, ‘Let’s just take it one at a time.’ I’ve had baby fever since I was, like, five. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. Every time I see a baby, my ovaries start screaming. They’re like, ‘Yeah!’ When it happens, it happens … We’re really enjoying our stage of marriage right now. We still have some things we’re wanting to do but, who knows. I mean, there’s never a right or a wrong time to do anything.”

Chrissy Teigen: Luna helped boost my confidence

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen says her daughter Luna has helped bring her out of her shell.
The 33-year-old model has her two-year-old tot with husband John Legend – with whom she also has seven-month-old son Miles – and says that whilst she’s quite “introverted” in real life, she seems to have a much more “goofy” personality in videos she posts on social media, because Luna helps bring out that side of her.
She said: “It sounds weird to say, but I really am an introvert. Luna’s just two and a half now, and bringing out so much of my personality that I was too anxious to share in the outside world before, so I get to be goofy; I get to be silly. We are all very much homebodies. I’m not the type to meet a friend for lunch; I’m only comfortable in my home.”
But the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star says her moods can be drastically impacted by what food she eats, so she always tries to “put good things” into her body so she can “have a better day the next day”.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping magazine, she added: “I think now I understand that food is so emotional for me, so I need to realise that if I put good things in my body, I’m probably going to have a better day the next day. Working out, to me, has never been about losing weight, it’s always been a mood thing, and it always, always helps my mood, so to be able to get back in that routine would be great.”
And although Chrissy knows exactly what foods she needs to put into her body, she recently vented her frustrations at how fussy her daughter is, as she went to the effort of creating a whole laminated menu for her, complete with pictures of the food.
She wrote in a series of tweets in December: “I always came from the mindset of “eat what we serve or go to bed hungry” but I’m officially owned by my toddler, struggling to make a *dinner* luna likes aside from spaghetti and fish sticks…. any ideas welcome!! … I’m spending my days making a menu, cooking and plating every meal and taking pics so my DARLING ANGEL will eat something WHO HAVE I BECOME…I just love projects … a binder of laminated photos with TODDLER FOOD on Peppa Pig plates. A MENU FOR MY DAUGHTER. I actually didn’t realise how insane this was til I started typing it (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian agrees with her sister Khloe’s decision to stay with Tristan Thompson, despite his cheating scandal.
The 34-year-old reality star was left devastated when she discovered her NBA star boyfriend had been filmed getting close to another woman just days before the birth of their daughter True in April last year.
But the pair managed to work through their differences and are now still together, and Khloe’s older sister Kourtney has insisted she would’ve made the same decision if she was in Khloe’s position.
When asked during an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ with her sister Kim Kardashian West if she would’ve stayed with Tristan if she were in Khloe’s shoes, she said: “I think I would. I think when you have a family, you do everything you can for your family.”
Kourtney, 39, has already been through a turbulent relationship with her former partner Scott Disick – with whom she has Mason, nine, Penelope, six, and Reign, four – and so knows how to work through tough situations.
Kim, 38, then added: Well, you stuck with Scott through a lot. That’s [Kourtney’s] personality.
“From seeing everything that happened, it’s so easy and quick to be like, ‘Oh my god, leave him, leave him!’ It’s so much harder to stay and have the whole public think you’re an idiot for staying.”
To which Kourtney replied: “To have the strength to really not give a f**k.”
Meanwhile, sources recently claimed that Khloe could be set to have another baby with Tristan, as the couple believe a second child could help bring them closer together.
An insider said: “Having True has changed Khloé’s life. Khloé would love another baby and to give True a sibling. She always wanted to be a mom and it wouldn’t be surprising if she got pregnant again.
“Though you might think having a new baby amid all this drama with Tristan would make things even harder for her, it was actually the opposite. True gave her something incredible to focus her love and energy on, and it helped her and Tristan stay bonded no matter what.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella wants to continue seeing Peter Kraus, after going on a date with him in October.
The 35-year-old professional wrestler went on “one date” with the former ‘Bachelorette’ contestant several months ago, but says she’d be interested in seeing him again because he was “so sweet”, and she wants to give him a chance to woo her without the presence of the ‘Total Bellas’ film crew.
Speaking about Peter during an appearance on ‘Live! With Kelly and Ryan’ alongside her twin sister Brie Bella, she said: “It’s just been one date so far. It was in the fall and he was so sweet. One, he’s so handsome – even Brie’s husband [Daniel Bryan] was freaking out for him. And he was so sweet and I would totally go out again, especially, I want to try it without cameras. It was like 10 people staring at me. I totally would go out [with him] again.”
Her comments come after she recently denied being in a relationship with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional dancer Artem Chigvinstev – whom she was paired with when she appeared on the show in 2017 – after reports suggested the pair were a couple.
She said: “I went on a few dates … and the one thing being a new LA girl that I forget is like, even at the farmers’ markets, there’s paparazzi. Honestly, it’s been a few dates. It’s been fun, but I’m just dating around.”
Nikki is playing the field after splitting from former fiancé John Cena just weeks before their wedding last year, and said that although the pair are no longer together, she would still give him a “heads up” if she committed to anyone new.
She added: “He and I are friendly. I have given him the heads up on everything because I have so much respect for him. So I told him like, ‘Hey! I’m going on a date with this guy, just want you to know.’
“I love him, I have respect for him – he’s just such a good friend of mine.”

Dax Shepard: I might have had a sex addiction

OHMYGOSSIP — Dax Shepard thinks he used to have a sex addiction.
The 44-year-old actor – who has been married to Kristen Bell since 2013, with whom he has daughters Lincoln, five, and Delta, four – believes that he once battled an addiction to sex, because he says that following an argument with a former girlfriend, he found himself struck by “horniness”.
Speaking to Dr. Phil McGraw on the ‘Phil in the Blanks’ podcast, the ‘Parenthood’ star said: “I’d say I’ve had what could maybe be called a sex addiction at some point in my life. Not one that I had to seek treatment for, but … Up until then I would just say, ‘I’ve had sex with a lot of people. I like to do it. It’s healthy. Who cares? I’m not getting diseases. I’m single. Whatever.’
“The moment that I thought ‘Oh this deserves exploration’ is when I had a girlfriend, she was away, we got in a fight over the phone, I hung up the phone, I was driving in the car and I immediately got horny.”
Dax believes his urges may have been the start of an addiction, because he says his brain was “taking care” of him by making him feel aroused so that he didn’t feel the pain of his argument with his girlfriend.
He added: “Now, that is a biochemical feeling; I’m getting a serotonin dump. Whatever I’m getting, that’s a physiological thing: horniness. So, I’m just feeling authentically horny. And I think, ‘Hmm, I’m going to text this girl I know.’ And I text this girl – and there was a delay. And then I just had this moment of clarity. I was like, ‘That’s suspicious. I just felt disempowered by my girlfriend and immediately I got horny. Could me brain be, like, taking care of me?'”
Dr. Phil even agreed that Dax could be right about his thoughts, as he says his brain “assigned the meaning” to his emotions.
He told the ‘When in Rome’ actor: “Think about it: For every thought you have, there’s a physiological corollary. You assign the meaning to it: This is sexual arousal, this is fear arousal, this is excitement arousal, [so] you just point it in whatever direction your mind wants to take.”

Megan Barton Hanson: Vanessa Bauer is disrespectful

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton Hanson believes Vanessa Bauer is “disrespectful”, after she slammed the skater for allegedly coming between her and her boyfriend Wes Nelson.
The 24-year-old ‘Love Island’ star hit out at Vanessa earlier this week when she claimed the ‘Dancing on Ice’ professional – who is paired up with Wes on the programme – had announced her break-up on the same day as their first performance in order to stir romance rumours between herself and Wes.
And now, Megan has said she finds it hard to watch the pair’s routines, because she feels disrespected by Vanessa, whom she claims never introduced herself to Megan when the show started.
She said: “It’s funny or a coincidence that Vanessa’s break-up came out the night they performed, she clearly wanted to get more hype around their performance. She knows the score; she did the show last year. She’s 22 years old. She knows questions are going to be asked about her and Wes and me being worried about them spending time together.
“Every woman will tell you it’s not ideal to have your boyfriend spending 12 hours a day with another woman – a little introduction from Vanessa would have gone a long way.
“‘Dancing on Ice’ is very romantic and all about looking into each other’s eyes and parading around on the ice and being loved up together – it’s not easy to watch.
“Wes is my main priority, I love him. I am so passionate about him but it is going to be difficult now. I want to back him, but I don’t want to feel awkward.”
Megan slammed Vanessa in an Instagram story on Monday (14.01.19), and although the comment has now been removed – as stories only stay active for 24 hours – the blonde beauty insists she doesn’t regret expressing her feelings.
She added: “I’m not going to backtrack. I was riled up, I let my passion and anger get the better of me but there’s no manual.
“I don’t want to be a possessive girlfriend. I want her to reach out to me. I’ve had no communication with her for the past three months. I’m not jealous; it is just a lack of respect. I was pushed over the edge.
“It has always been a trait of mine to be brutally honest. I’m only human and there’s only so much I can put up with when I’ve sat there and supported them but I get picked apart. I can’t win. It wasn’t professional or classy but I am only human.”
Megan claims Vanessa was “icy” toward her when they met backstage after her and Wes’ first live dance over the weekend, and says her “forced” demeanour has made her worried about Vanessa’s intentions.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, she said: “Girl to girl, if you’re spending that much time with someone’s boyfriend you would reach out to them and say ‘hi,’ you would introduce yourself.
“But never once, even last week when I said good luck to them both on Instagram she didn’t message me. She’s never message me. When we finally met on Sunday night it was very quick and awkward – it felt forced.”

Wells Adams: It’s not hard to love Sarah Hyland

OHMYGOSSIP — Wells Adams says it’s “not hard to love” his “gorgeous” girlfriend Sarah Hyland.
The former ‘Bachelorette’ star has been in a relationship with the ‘Modern Family’ actress since October 2017, and has said that despite a tough few months at the start of their relationship – in which Sarah had to undergo a second kidney transplant after her first one had failed – he’s never had an issue with loving the actress throughout.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: “It’s not hard to love her. She’s gorgeous and beautiful and smart and talented … With her health issues and stuff, everyone goes through things in their lives, it just so happened that when we started dating she was going through a very big thing. But as our lives unfold together, there’s going to be things that happen to me when I’m going to lean on her. Every relationship’s a give and take.
“It was nice that I was able to help her with her issue, but there will be times when I need her help.”
Wells’ comments come after Sarah, 28, previously gushed over her beau’s endless support, saying she’ll always “feel the most beautiful in his eyes” because he was there for her at her lowest.
She said: “He was there through all of that. I think that’s why I feel the most beautiful in his eyes, because he still finds me beautiful after seeing all that. It was a really intimate start to a relationship to have to go through those hurdles at the very, very, very beginning when you’re just even getting to know a person.
“Also, falling in love with someone before you can really be intimate. I did not believe that that was a thing, but it is.”

Mac Miller’s parents to attend Grammys in his honour

OHMYGOSSIP — Mac Miller’s parents will attend the Grammy Awards next month on behalf of their late son.
The ‘Self Care’ rapper magically passed away in September last year at the age of 26 after suffering an accidental overdose, and after his last album ‘Swimming’ earned him his first ever Grammy nomination for Rap Album of the Year, it has now been revealed his parents will attend the ceremony in his honour.
According to TMZ, Mac’s parents will also accept the award on behalf of the ‘Dang!’ hitmaker if he wins in the category, which sees ‘Swimming’ go up against Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’, Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’, Pusha T’s ‘Daytona’, and Nipsey Hussle’s ‘Victory Lap’.
The Grammys are due to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 10.
Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier this month that the Mac Miller Circles Fund – which was setup in memory of the ‘Come Back To Earth’ rapper to provide funding and resources to underprivileged youths desperate to explore the arts in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – has raised an impressive $700,000 since the late rapper’s death.
In October, the ‘A Celebration of Life’ benefit concert – which saw the likes of Donald Glover and Pharrell Williams pay tribute to the hip-hop star – was held, and it’s now reported to have made around $350,000, whilst a similar amount has been made in donations.
Speaking previously of the achievements of the organisation, Mac’s mother Karen Meyers said: “The support we’ve experienced is evident in this amazing lineup and is a testament to Malcolm’s incredible life.
“He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that.”

Alicia Keys will host the Grammy Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Keys is set to host the Grammy Awards next month.
The 37-year-old singer will host the prestigious music award ceremony in Los Angeles on February 10, as she announced the news in a video posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday (15.01.19), which was titled “I’m Hosting the 2019 Grammys (Alicia Keys)”.
The nine-minute video features a clip of her receiving the phone call from her manager who delivered the exciting news, as well as clips of her spilling the details to her family – including her mother, her husband Swizz Beatz, and their children, eight-year-old Egypt and four-year-old Genesis – and staff members.
Alicia then spends the rest of the video trying on outfits, and taking part in a photoshoot for promotional material alongside the 15 golden gongs she already owns herself.
In the description of the video, the ‘Fallin’ singer wrote: “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards !!
“There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life Tune in on February 10th at 5PM PST / 8PM EST. Only on CBS! (sic)”
Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich heaped praise on Alicia in a statement, saying he hopes she will “guide” Grammy viewers through the “very special” show in February.
He said: “Alicia is one of those rare artists who meld true musical genius with heartfelt emotional lyrics to create a unique approach to everything she does. We have no doubt that she’ll bring all of that as she guides millions of Grammy viewers through what we believe will be a very special show in February.”
Whilst Neil Portnow, President and CEO of the Recording Academy, added: “A dynamic artist with the rare combination of groundbreaking talent and passion for her craft, Alicia Keys is the perfect choice as host for our show. Throughout her exciting career, I have watched her become a powerful force within the music industry and beyond. As an artist who speaks to the power of music, we are thrilled to have her on board for what’s sure to be an unforgettable Grammy Awards.”
Kendrick Lamar is nominated for the most gongs this year with eight nods to his name, with Drake close behind with seven, and Boi-1da and Brandi Carlile receiving six nominations each.
Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, Maren Morris, R&B newcomer H.E.R., and producer Sounwave all have five nominations.
