Nadiya Hussain had a parsley induced panic attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadiya Hussain once suffered a panic attack when she was sent the wrong herb in online food shop.
The ‘Great British Bake Off’ winner has opened up on how her life is affected by the anxiety triggered episodes and over a year ago she had a bad attack after she received parsley instead of coriander in a delivery.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on ‘This Morning’, she said: “Yeah it’s something that I don’t think is ever gonna go away. Sometimes, for example, I had a food shop come in about a year-and-a-half ago, and this is something I always remember and I ordered coriander and they gave me parsley. That was it. I had a panic attack just, it was bubbling away all day, then it just rose to the surface and I said, ‘Move the kids away, I can’t have them see me like this.’
“It feels breathless and it feels like you’re going to die – it sounds so dramatic but it’s not but that’s exactly the feeling you get. For me its patterns, so if I’m used to doing something a certain way and somebody says you have to do this a little bit different, I don’t know if it’s something that will ever go away. I haven’t had treatment for it, I use my baking and my writing as therapy and expression. I can just stop and think ‘I can do a little bit of writing’.”
Nadiya, 34, is releasing her second novel ‘The Fall and Rise of the Amir Sisters’, which is a follow up to her first fiction book about faith, family and the sisterhood between four siblings.
Nadiya – who has three sisters and two brothers – has written about sex in her latest tome and she admits the racier parts mean that she can’t let her mother read the book.
The TV cook – whose family are Muslim – said: “The mum in the book talks about sex quite a lot and, I’m even saying the say the word and I’m thinking I can hear my mum, she would be rolling her eyes, I can feel her eyes rolling already because we don’t even say that word round her, so for her, I could never give her the book to read. My kids have read it. My boys are 10 and 11 – they think it’s great. If they can pick it up and read it – it’s such an easy read.
“I put taboo subjects in there – it doesn’t matter what culture you’re from – it’s something people don’t want to talk about so where I’ve got the dynamic of four sisters, I can go anywhere with it. These lives are in your hands, there’s something really powerful writing characters like that. Fertility is something so lighthearted and serious at the same time.”

The Hairy Bikers turned down Dancing On Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — The Hairy Bikers turned down ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The culinary duo, Si King, 51 and Dave Myers, 60, have revealed that they spurned the opportunity to appear on the ITV skating competition because they have “delicate ankles” which would not be ideal for the slippery rink.
Speaking to The Daily Star newspaper, Dave said: “We did turn down ‘Dancing On Ice’. I have delicate ankles. But let’s say these offers are discussed on a job-by-job basis!”
Despite his reluctance to skate, Dave did appear on the eleventh series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ back in 2013.
The Hairy Bikers achieved huge success with their cookbook ‘The Hairy Dieters’ – which won a National Book Award in 2012 – which shared the recipes which helped the friends lose around six stone between them.
The duo, who burst onto the TV cooking show scene with their calorific man-sized meals, both realised they had to do something about their fitness when they filming in Turin, Italy, and were both struggling to cope with heat as they exerted themselves.
Si said: “Celebrity diets aren’t really us – it’s all up to each of us to cut our own groove, I remember when we were out in Turin filming a show and we were making the world’s biggest chocolate cake and both melting and sweating in the heat because we were so unfit.
“That’s when we knew something really had to change. We’re just two old blokes. But just look at the pressure all of our unhealthy lives are having on the NHS. We should all be responsible for helping ourselves.”
Dave added: I used to eat a pack of butter a day! Now I use Benecol instead which is a revolution. We love food and learnt to experiment with that instead.”

Amber Davies dreamed of being a social media queen

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Davies “dreamt about having loads of followers” on social media when she was young.
The former ‘Love Island’ star, who has 1.6 million followers on Instagram and 374,000 on Twitter, “loves social media” and isn’t ashamed to admit she’s always been ambitious about acquiring a large online following, even when she was a kid.
In an interview with The London Evening Standard newspaper, Amber, 22, said: “When I was young I always used to dream about having loads of followers. I love social media and I’m not scared to say it. I love seeing what other people do. I’m rooting for people.”
The brunette beauty won the ITV reality dating series alongside ex-boyfriend Kem Cetinay in 2017, catapulting herself to fame.
Amber thinks “everybody loves” reality stars because of how relatable they are, but she admits splitting from Kem in the public eye months after the show was one of the “hardest things” she’s ever had to endure.
She said: “People have big opinions on reality stars. But everybody loves us because we’re real. I think some people think we’re robots, that’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through: a break-up in the media. And I wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy.”
Amber will soon set make her theatre debut in the upcoming West End show ‘9 to 5: The Musical’ and the star believes the production – which is based on the 1980 film of the same name and has been produced by the movie’s star Dolly Parton – which tells the story of three women plotting against their sexist boss is being staged at an important time.
She said: “If you were to put any show on in the West End, this one is perfect because we’re sending out a clear message: the pay gap is still an issue, stereotyping is still an issue.”

Charlotte Crosby reveals baby plan

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Crosby wants to have a baby with her boyfriend Joshua Ritchie next year.
The 28-year-old reality star is “ready to start a family” with her 24-year-old partner Josh and although her man is younger than her Charlotte says it “seems like he’s on board”.
Quizzed on when she might get pregnant during an interview on ‘Good morning Britain’, she replied: “Next year! Me and Josh.
“I would like to yes, I’m 29 this year so I’ll be 30 next year and I’m really ready to start a family.”
When asked if former ‘Love Island’ contestant Joshua, 24, is ready to be a dad, Charlotte replied: “He’s four years younger than me, we talk a lot about it and he seems like he’s on board.”
Speculation was sparked that the former ‘Geordie Shore’ star may be pregnant after she posted a picture of herself cradling her tummy on Instagram, however, the brunette beauty insisted that she was simply trying to hide a bloated stomach.
She said: “I’m not pregnant no, I have a food intolerance to gluten and I get really bloated. We’d had a big meal and I’d had some bread, so I put my hand over my tummy just to hide it a little bit as I can’t control the bloating when it comes out and then all of a sudden I’m pregnant.”
Charlotte split with fellow reality star Stephan Bear in December 2017 and recently bid farewell to the tattoo tribute to her former partner.
She underwent laser removal surgery last year to get the half bear/half cheetah on her back lasered off, as well as the basic fish he drew on her wrist.

In Outstanding Music Artist, Troye Sivan will take on the likes of Hayley Kiyoko, Janelle Monae, Years & Years, Brockhampton, and Christine and the Queens for the gong.

We believe, however, that we must send a clear and unequivocal message to LGBTQ youth and all survivors of sexual assault that GLAAD and our community will stand with survivors and will not be silent when it comes to protecting them from those who would do them harm.
“Other films that involve Singer now or in the future should take note of the backlash to The Atlantic story and other previous allegations. The industry cannot let those who perpetuate harms against anyone – especially vulnerable young people – go unnoticed or unchecked any longer.”

Maisie Williams: Fans won’t be satisfied with Game of Thrones ending

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Williams doesn’t think fans will be “satisfied” with the ‘Game of Thrones’ ending.
The 21-year-old actress stars as Arya Stark in the hit HBO fantasy drama, which is due to air its eighth and final season in April this year, and whilst millions of fans are waiting with baited breath to find out how the saga ends, Maisie has revealed it may not be the ending people are hoping for.
She told Sky News: “I don’t know that anyone is going to be satisfied. No one wants it to end, you know, but I’m really proud of this final season. I’ve always felt ashamed to say things like that, but I am. I’m really proud of all the work we’ve put it, for me it’s the right time. I hope people like it.”
But her co-star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, insisted recently that no matter what the ending will be, fans won’t be happy because nobody wants to say goodbye to the popular programme.
He said: “It’s like when you finish a book, you’re not happy it’s over are you? You don’t finish a good book and say, ‘I’m happy I finished that.’ But you have this grief that it’s over, and it’s exactly same with nine years doing this show. No matter how it ended, or how it does end, there’s always this bit of you that’s like, ‘oh’; there’s this loss around it.”
Meanwhile, Kit previously said that filming for the show’s final episodes left all the cast so “sleep deprived” and “broken”, that they’d “had enough” of being on set by the time the programme wrapped.
He said: “The last season of ‘Thrones’, seemed to be designed to break us. I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, ‘I’ve had enough now. I love this, it’s been the best thing in my life, I’ll miss it one day – but I’m done.'”
And fellow co-star Gwendoline Christie teased that viewers are in for a shock so big they’ll need to seek “professional help”.
The 40-year-old actress – who stars as Brienne of Tarth – said: “You’re going to need therapy. I think just the show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help.”

Angelina Jolie working on children’s current affairs show

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie is set to executive produce a current affairs TV show for children.
The 43-year-old actress – who has Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with her ex-husband Brad Pitt – has teamed up with BBC Learning, BBC World Studios, and Microsoft Education to launch an English-language TV show aimed at adolescent audiences, which will tackle current affairs.
According to a press release, the prime objective of the show is “to help children have access to impartial information of the highest editorial standard and bring a deeper understanding of the different issues their peers face in other parts of the world.”
The show will first be commissioned for a pilot series consisting of 10 weekly half-hour episodes, which will be produced by the BBC World Service, and executive produced by Angelina.
Once the English-language version of the show has been launched, there are then plans to expand to multiple languages.
The ‘Maleficent’ actress said in a statement: “All of us who have come together on this project feel a great responsibility towards young people. We want to make sure that we are able to put forward a news program that helps to give them a broad view of the world they live in and the issues they face, and that helps connect them to other children around the world.”
Meanwhile, Angelina recently said she’d love for her own children to embrace their rebellious streak, because she doesn’t want them to be well-behaved all the time.
She said: “It’s funny – children can do two things. They can make you grow up, and you do, and they also add a sense of wild themselves.
“They all have a good rebellious streak that is wonderful and curious. And I don’t want them to be perfectly behaved little people that just say what’s absolutely appropriate because I say so – they have to find themselves.”

Gisele Bundchen: Boyz II Men helped me learn English

OHMYGOSSIP — Gisele Bundchen credits Boyz II Men with helping her learn English.
The 38-year-old Brazilian model appeared with the R&B group during a ‘Carpool Karaoke’ episode which was released exclusively on Apple Music on Friday (25.01.19), and told the ‘End of the Road’ hitmakers that it was thanks to their music that she managed to learn English when she moved to New York at just 16 years old.
In a special teaser clip for the episode, she said: “So I moved to New York City when I was 16 years old. I didn’t speak a word of English. But my sister, she was like ‘Here, take my cassette.’ The cassette tape she made for me, one side was Boyz II Men, the other side was Mariah [Carey].
“I would literally be with this Walkman all day. I was like, ‘I’m gonna learn English and that’s it!’ I have to say, you guys were my teachers so thank you.”
Meanwhile, Gisele recently praised meditation for helping her to overcome her “panic attacks”, which she has been suffering with since she was in her early 20s.
She said: “I started meditating in my early 20s, after having severe panic attacks … that’s one of the very important tools that helped me … it actually gave me a new life. When you start being loving with yourself, being loving with others, filling your mind with affirmations and loving thoughts, you create more of that in your life, and that becomes more of your reality.”
Gisele has even tried to get her husband and NFL star Tom Brady – with whom she has son Benjamin, nine, and daughter Vivian, six – involved, but says he’s not as “diligent” with the practice as she is.
She added: “He has meditated, but I don’t think he’s as diligent as I am with meditation. For me, it came from something that has helped me heal from something that was so challenging in my life. Maybe because he hasn’t had the same need as me, maybe for him, it hasn’t become something so consistent.”

Jada Pinkett Smith went skydiving as gift for Will Smith

OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith went skydiving as a birthday gift for her husband Will Smith.
The 47-year-old actress was shocked when her husband told her the only thing he wanted for his 50th birthday in September was for her to jump out of a plane, but she says she accepted his odd request because it’s “hard to find” other things to buy him as gifts.
She said: “Will turned 50 and so he said, ‘The only thing I want for my birthday, a birthday gift from you, is to jump out of a plane.’
“It’s hard to find things for Will because he doesn’t necessarily like objects. He doesn’t like material things. So I was like, ‘Man, if that’s what you really want, then daggonit I’ll do it.’ I did it for his 50th cause that’s what he wanted.”
The ‘Girls Trip’ star then joked that her husband – with whom she has 20-year-old son Jaden and 18-year-old daughter Willow – asked her to skydive because he had “different” plans for if things went badly.
She added: “Let me tell you. Because he’s watching me and I go, ‘Why would a husband ask his wife to jump out of a plane for his 50th? Unless he’s got some different plans for the next half.'”
But Jada says she wasn’t nervous when it came to the jump, because she knew she had to “keep her composure” and trust her “faith”.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’, she said: “You know, I wasn’t. I was kind of anxious before and I knew I was gonna freak out once I got on the plane, because I don’t like heights and I don’t like planes. I don’t like to fly. And I was like, ‘Jada, this is gonna be a test for you just as far as how you can keep your composure in regards to your faith.'”
Jada wasn’t the only family member jumping out of flying vehicles for Will’s big day, as the ‘Suicide Squad’ star himself bungee jumped from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon.

Beth Tweddle suing The Jump following 2016 accident

OHMYGOSSIP — Beth Tweddle is suing ‘The Jump’ after a horror injury in 2016 left her temporarily unable to walk.
The Olympic Bronze medallist gymnast is taking legal action against the makers of the Channel 4 reality show, in which contestants compete in a host of winter sports, as her recovery is “still ongoing” and she still suffers from the injury now, however, the defendants involved have so far denied all liability for her injuries.
In a statement, she said: “It’s been a long journey and my recovery is still ongoing. I’m not sure I’ll ever be 100 per cent again.
“The effects of my accident still interrupt my daily life and, aside from the severe physical injuries at the start, the hardest part of the recovery process has been the psychological element – dealing with and processing the whole accident and the aftermath of what happened.”
The incident occurred during ski training for the reality show when the 33-year-old gymnast smashed into barriers while practicing a jump, resulting in her breaking her neck.
The retired athlete – who announced she was pregnant with her first child with husband Andy Allen in December – was airlifted to hospital from the ski slope in Austria, and has since suffered flashbacks of the traumatic incident.
She added: “I said before that I don’t want this accident to define me and I work hard every day to ensure that isn’t the case.
“It’s disappointing that we have had to seek court proceedings as we had hoped the makers of the programme might be willing to work with us to settle the case.
“I just want to make sure that there is full accountability for people involved in creating shows like this and to help prevent others having to go through what I have for the past three years.”

Diane Kruger was waiting for the right person to start a family with

OHMYGOSSIP — Diane Kruger was “too selfish” to have children for much of her adult life.
The 42-year-old actress and her boyfriend Norman Reedus welcomed their first child together into the world last November and the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star readily admits she was too career focused to become a mother earlier in her life and then when she started to yearn for a baby in her 30s she had to wait to find the “right person”.
Speaking to NET-A-PORTER’s weekly digital magazine PorterEdit, she said: “I didn’t think I wanted children for a long time. I was too selfish. But by the time I got to about 35, I thought, yes, I probably do want one. But then you have to wait for the right person to come along.”
Diane – who has chosen not to share her daughter’s name or likeness with the world – revealed that Norman has taught her a lot about parenting because he is already so experienced as he has a 19-year-old son Mingus from his previous relationship with Helena Christensen, whom he dated from 1998 to 2003.
She said: “[Norman] is so calm, and he teaches me a lot, because he’s done it before. There’s definitely something to be said for being with someone who is doing it for the second time.”
The ‘Troy’ star is open to getting married in the future because she would love to have her own special day with Norman, but marriage is not important to her for financial or religious reasons.
She said: “Never say never [to marriage]. I would have a party. I’d like to wear a nice dress. But I’m not religious, so that aspect of marriage doesn’t mean anything to me. There’s obviously a financial security that comes with marriage, but I’m financially independent – I don’t need anyone for that.”

The 24-year-old presenter revealed that she and her 25-year-old rapper boyfriend recently welcomed a mutt mate into their home who they have called Enzo and the pair love walking their pet around the London area where they live.
Maya said: “We’ve got a dog now, Enzo, it’s nice to have places to walk. I’ve always loved this city.”
The BBC Radio 1 DJ has been dating the grime artist for three years after the pair met at Red Bull Culture Clash in 2016.
Although the couple are focused on their life together now, Maya can’t help but let her mind wander to the future and she has even thought about what she wants to happen when she dies.
The broadcaster would rather be cremated than buried, however, she isn’t keen on the idea of being of her ashes being scattered in a river and would prefer to have her remains end up in a car.
Speaking to ES Magazine, she said: “I’d like to be cremated, but I wouldn’t want to be thrown in the Thames. Maybe in a park – then they could put tree seeds in with me, so I could grow through a tree. I like that idea.”
The ‘Circle’ host also spilled that she likes to work out in her garden with her personal trainer, but admitted that before she had a trainer and her own garden, she used to run in parks as she prefers to exercise outdoors.
She said: “I’m super lucky, because I’ve got a personal trainer, so I train mostly in my garden. But even before I had a trainer or a garden, it would be in the parks. I find no one watches you outside, whereas in the gym everyone’s staring.”

William H. Macy’s marriage is a ‘fairytale’

OHMYGOSSIP — William H. Macy has a “fairytale marriage” with wife Felicity Huffman.
The 68-year-old actor dated Felicity – with whom he has daughters Sophia, 18, and Georgia, 16 – on and off for 15 years before they finally tied the knot 22 years ago, and has now revealed just how magical he thinks their long lasting bond is.
He said: “Our marriage is a fairytale marriage. I loved her the second I saw her.”
And whilst the ‘Shameless’ actor admits being married to a fellow actor can be difficult, it’s what bonded them in the early days of their relationship, and they still “talk about showbiz a lot” to this day.
Speaking in an upcoming interview for ‘Sunday Today’, he added: “We talk about showbiz a lot. We give each other notes. It’s not something everyone should try. She can be tough, and I can be tough, too. We met in the theatre and that’s really at the core of our relationship.”
The couple are no strangers to showing their love for one another, as 56-year-old ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Felicity posted a touching tribute to her spouse on social media to mark their 20th wedding anniversary in September 2017.
She wrote: “You took me home in 1985. You married me in 1997. You give me a thrill every time you walk through the door. Thank you for marrying me 20 years ago today. @williamhmacy (sic)”
And William didn’t hold back either, as he wrote in his own post: “Twenty years ago today I did the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I married Felicity Huffman.”
The pair married in 1997, but in 2015, Felicity admitted William had actually asked her to marry him on a number of occasions throughout their relationship, but she’d always turned him down.
She said: “I was so scared of marriage that I thought I would’ve preferred to step in front of a bus. I thought I’d disappear.
“Bill Macy asked me to marry him several times over several years. And I was finally smart enough to go: ‘I’m going to marry this guy or really lose him for good.’ And it was after we broke up for four or five years when he asked me again, I knew I couldn’t say no.”

Anne Hathaway: I’m funnier as a blonde

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway “felt funnier” as a blonde.
The 36-year-old actress donned golden locks for her role in new movie ‘Serenity’, and has said she agrees with the saying that blondes have more fun, because she felt like she could tell better jokes thanks to her lighter hair.
Speaking to W magazine, she said: “I felt funnier! I don’t know why, but I just felt that I could be funnier while saying less. I know that doesn’t make any sense, but it was just – it’s nice. And it also made me want to do it more in life, like, just mess around with [my hair] and not get too fixed on anything.”
And although she may have better luck landing punchlines with blonde hair, the colour change didn’t help her remember her lines, as she recently said she found herself forgetting what she was supposed to say because she was so distracted by “handsome” co-star Matthew McConaughey.
Anne – who has been married to Adam Shulman since 2012 – said: “I’m sitting there and we’re doing our scene and Matthew’s like a brother to me so I don’t think about all that other stuff … But I’m looking at him and nobody is talking and I go, ‘Oh it’s my line!’
“Why did I forget my line? Oh because you’re handsome! I was just staring at him and I forgot my line because he looked like a fragrance model which then it occurred to me, of course, he is!”
The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star has also admitted it was tough to turn off from the film at the end of each day on set because it was so intense.
She shared: “It wasn’t the longest job, I think we were only there for five weeks, but I remember on the last week looking at my husband and saying something to him, and he looked at me and he said, ‘I’m going to give you the dignity of your process right now. I know this isn’t you. You’ve got two days left. I’ll talk to you in two days.'”

The ex-girlfriend of P. Diddy – who was the mother of three of his children, Christian, 20, and 12-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James – tragically passed away in November at the age of 47, and it has now been revealed that her cause of death was lobar pneumonia.
According to TMZ, the LA County Coroner’s office declared on Friday (25.01.19) that Kim passed away from the inflammatory condition – which is characterised by the inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs – when she was found dead in her Toluca Lake home two months ago.
In the coroner’s report, it’s claimed that Kim had gotten a massage from her goddaughter the day before she died, and watched movies with family members until going to bed at 11:30pm.
Her goddaughter allegedly saw her at 8:30am the next morning but thought she was still sleeping, so left for work. When housemates checked on her again at 11:30am they found her unresponsive, and called 911.
It had previously been claimed that Kim believed she was battling the flu in the days before her passing, and had complained about feeling unwell.
Meanwhile, Diddy – who also raises Kim’s 27-year-old son Quincy, and his two children from other relationships, Justin, 24, and Chance, 12 – recently thanked his family for helping him through “a state of deep depression” following Kim’s death.
Posting a picture on social media of his mother with D’Lila Star and Jessie James, he wrote: “Mama and the babies GOD IS SO GOOD. THE GREATEST!!! I’m the luckiest man in the world. The way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me. They brought me out of a state of deep depression. Their strength and love brought me back into the light. I love my family!!
