Taraji P. Henson ‘learning how to be ready’ for marriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson is “still learning how to be ready” to marry her fiancé Kelvin Hayden.
The 48-year-old actress is engaged to the former American football star, and has said that despite their impending wedding, she’s still not sure if she’s ready to marry her partner, but says she’s learning “how to be better in a relationship” every day.
She said: “I’m still learning how to be ready. Every day I’m learning how to be better in a relationship. I just found out, in our therapy sessions, that men have fewer words than women. I didn’t know that. They run out of words. Because women are emotional, we want to talk through everything. Of course we have more words; we’re the communicators. Kelvin, he thinks he’s a comedian. Anytime we’re in a disagreement or I’m like, ‘We need to talk about this,’ he’ll look at me and say, ‘Baby, I done ran out of words.’ He’s joking, but I’m starting to accept that it’s true.”
Before settling down with Kelvin, the ‘Empire’ star was a single mother to her son Marcell Johnson, now 24, and moved to LA with him when she finished college in order to pursue her dreams.
Speaking about the decision to start her acting dream despite her hardships, Taraji told Playboy magazine: “In your 20s, you’re not scared. You feel invincible. I was an artist with a dream, and now that I was a mother I felt like it was do or die. Being a parent is what kept me focused. I didn’t go to the clubs, even though they say that’s how you’re supposed to network. I have common sense, and nothing about that seemed right to me. What networking happens at a club where people are inebriated? Tell me, what contracts are being signed? That’s stupid. I knew what I had to offer; I just had to find somebody to hear me. Anytime I felt scared, I’d call my dad.”

Richard E Grant attracted to outsider roles

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E. Grant finds it appealing to play outsiders.
The 63-year-old actor, who was born and raised in Swaziland, now Eswatini, admitted that “being an immigrant in England” left him with a “sense that you are an outsider looking in” and he believes this has affected what kind of roles he is drawn to.
When asked in an interview with Empire magazine whether he finds it appealing playing outsiders, he said: “I suppose so. I wonder if that’s partly to do with where I grew up, and then being an immigrant in England at the age of 25. I think there’s inevitably a sense that you are an outsider looking in.
The star recently received an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Jack Hock in the crime drama ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ but the ‘Logan’ actor confessed that he hasn’t felt the need to write an acceptance speech because he doesn’t think he has a chance of winning when he’s up against Sam Elliott (‘A Star is Born’), Sam Rockwell (‘Vice’), Mahershala Ali (‘Green Book’) and Adam Driver (‘BlacKkKlansman’).
He said: “It feels like it’s jinxing to prepare something to say, because I think the reality is, when I see the competition, which is absolutely loud-and-clear, neon-lit, I have no delusion I’m going to be the one blathering. ”
Although Richard has his doubts about actually winning the award, the star was overwhelmed with happiness upon hearing about his nomination and admitted he and his daughter, Olivia, “burst into tears” when they heard the news.
He said earlier this week: “It feels completely surreal; I was sitting with my daughter in a restaurant in Notting Hill Gate just round the corner from where this happened.
“Where I lived in this bedsit in 1982 when I first immigrated to England and it was when I got the news – she was watching this live feed on her phone we had earpieces in, we both just burst into tears and people around us thought we had some terrible news. ”

Ed Sheeran: Pop stars are sensible

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran thinks modern pop stars are “sensible”.
The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker believes that as music careers are more short-lived these days, artists do more to look after their money and protect their long-term future.
He told Q magazine: “As soon as I signed my publishing deal, before I got big, I bought property.
“I’ve invested in three in England.
“I think pop stars nowadays are just more sensible because it doesn’t last as long.
“It’s all about, do your time, earn your money, buy some property and when it all goes to s**t, you’ve got something to fall back on.
“The guy who told me to buy property was Goldie. I met him when I was 17, he kept in touch and as soon as stuff started to go well, he rang me up and goes, ‘Don’t be a ****, by a f***ing house.’ ”
The 27-year-old singer found his English background helped him a lot when he tried to crack the US.
He said: “Being English goes a long way in Hollywood.
“In any situation, I benefited from it. Not sexually, professionally.
“Americans think we’re kooky and fun. When I lived there I was in all these situations, dinner parties, clubs, meeting people and thought, ‘All this could end tomorrow, I better do it all now, so I’ll at least have some decent stories.’
“I definitely lived it. I did everything that I should’ve done and everything I shouldn’t.”

William H. Macy’s marriage is a ‘fairytale’

OHMYGOSSIP — William H. Macy has a “fairytale marriage” with wife Felicity Huffman.
The 68-year-old actor dated Felicity – with whom he has daughters Sophia, 18, and Georgia, 16 – on and off for 15 years before they finally tied the knot 22 years ago, and has now revealed just how magical he thinks their long lasting bond is.
He said: “Our marriage is a fairytale marriage. I loved her the second I saw her.”
And whilst the ‘Shameless’ actor admits being married to a fellow actor can be difficult, it’s what bonded them in the early days of their relationship, and they still “talk about showbiz a lot” to this day.
Speaking in an upcoming interview for ‘Sunday Today’, he added: “We talk about showbiz a lot. We give each other notes. It’s not something everyone should try. She can be tough, and I can be tough, too. We met in the theatre and that’s really at the core of our relationship.”
The couple are no strangers to showing their love for one another, as 56-year-old ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Felicity posted a touching tribute to her spouse on social media to mark their 20th wedding anniversary in September 2017.
She wrote: “You took me home in 1985. You married me in 1997. You give me a thrill every time you walk through the door. Thank you for marrying me 20 years ago today. @williamhmacy (sic)”
And William didn’t hold back either, as he wrote in his own post: “Twenty years ago today I did the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I married Felicity Huffman.”
The pair married in 1997, but in 2015, Felicity admitted William had actually asked her to marry him on a number of occasions throughout their relationship, but she’d always turned him down.
She said: “I was so scared of marriage that I thought I would’ve preferred to step in front of a bus. I thought I’d disappear.
“Bill Macy asked me to marry him several times over several years. And I was finally smart enough to go: ‘I’m going to marry this guy or really lose him for good.’ And it was after we broke up for four or five years when he asked me again, I knew I couldn’t say no.”

Anne Hathaway: I’m funnier as a blonde

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway “felt funnier” as a blonde.
The 36-year-old actress donned golden locks for her role in new movie ‘Serenity’, and has said she agrees with the saying that blondes have more fun, because she felt like she could tell better jokes thanks to her lighter hair.
Speaking to W magazine, she said: “I felt funnier! I don’t know why, but I just felt that I could be funnier while saying less. I know that doesn’t make any sense, but it was just – it’s nice. And it also made me want to do it more in life, like, just mess around with [my hair] and not get too fixed on anything.”
And although she may have better luck landing punchlines with blonde hair, the colour change didn’t help her remember her lines, as she recently said she found herself forgetting what she was supposed to say because she was so distracted by “handsome” co-star Matthew McConaughey.
Anne – who has been married to Adam Shulman since 2012 – said: “I’m sitting there and we’re doing our scene and Matthew’s like a brother to me so I don’t think about all that other stuff … But I’m looking at him and nobody is talking and I go, ‘Oh it’s my line!’
“Why did I forget my line? Oh because you’re handsome! I was just staring at him and I forgot my line because he looked like a fragrance model which then it occurred to me, of course, he is!”
The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star has also admitted it was tough to turn off from the film at the end of each day on set because it was so intense.
She shared: “It wasn’t the longest job, I think we were only there for five weeks, but I remember on the last week looking at my husband and saying something to him, and he looked at me and he said, ‘I’m going to give you the dignity of your process right now. I know this isn’t you. You’ve got two days left. I’ll talk to you in two days.'”

Kim Porter died from pneumonia

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Porter died from a form of pneumonia.
The ex-girlfriend of P. Diddy – who was the mother of three of his children, Christian, 20, and 12-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James – tragically passed away in November at the age of 47, and it has now been revealed that her cause of death was lobar pneumonia.
According to TMZ, the LA County Coroner’s office declared on Friday (25.01.19) that Kim passed away from the inflammatory condition – which is characterised by the inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs – when she was found dead in her Toluca Lake home two months ago.
In the coroner’s report, it’s claimed that Kim had gotten a massage from her goddaughter the day before she died, and watched movies with family members until going to bed at 11:30pm.
Her goddaughter allegedly saw her at 8:30am the next morning but thought she was still sleeping, so left for work. When housemates checked on her again at 11:30am they found her unresponsive, and called 911.
It had previously been claimed that Kim believed she was battling the flu in the days before her passing, and had complained about feeling unwell.
Meanwhile, Diddy – who also raises Kim’s 27-year-old son Quincy, and his two children from other relationships, Justin, 24, and Chance, 12 – recently thanked his family for helping him through “a state of deep depression” following Kim’s death.
Posting a picture on social media of his mother with D’Lila Star and Jessie James, he wrote: “Mama and the babies GOD IS SO GOOD. THE GREATEST!!! I’m the luckiest man in the world. The way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me. They brought me out of a state of deep depression. Their strength and love brought me back into the light. I love my family!! Michael Jackson’s accusers not paid for Finding Neverland

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s accusers were not offered any money for ‘Finding Neverland’.
The new four-hour documentary from director Dan Reed – which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival – features allegations from Wade Robson and James Safechuck that Michael sexually abused them as children and both men insisted they have not profited from the film but just want to protect others from going through similar experiences.
Speaking after the premiere on Friday (25.01.19), Safechuck said: “From the get-go, there was no money ever offered and we never expected anything. It was really trying to tell the story and shine a light on it. To give people [who have survived abuse] the same connection and comfort we’ve got going through this.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, Robson added: “We’ve been looking for a platform to be able to tell the truth. This film was nothing we ever thought about or sought out. It came to us individually.”
“We can’t change what happened to us. We can’t do anything about stopping Michael. He’s dead. That’s gone. What happened happened. The feeling is, ‘What can we do now?’ Hopefully it helps other survivors feel less isolated…. One of my greatest hopes is raising awareness for parents, teachers, business leaders to help prevent this from happening.”
Robson alleges he was sexually abused by the late King of Pop from the age of seven until 14, while Safechuck – who previously testified on Jackson’s behalf when he was accused of sexual abuse in 1993 – claims he was a victim from the age of 10 until he hit puberty.
Michael’s fans have hit out at the allegations in the documentary and Robson, who also testified for Michael in 1993 and again in 2005, admitted he understood their anger.
He said: “I don’t feel like there’s anything that I need to say to them except that I understand that it’s really hard for them to believe. Because in a way, not that long ago, I was in the same position that they were. So I understand, and we can only accept and understand something when we’re ready. Maybe we’ll never be ready, maybe we will. So that’s their journey.”
Hours after the documentary premiered, Michael’s estate lashed out at Safechuck and Robson, calling them “perjurers” and “admitted liars”.
The statement said: “‘Leaving Neverland’ isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death. The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact. These claims were the basis of lawsuits filed by these two admitted liars which were ultimately dismissed by a judge. The two accusers testified under oath that these events never occurred. They have provided no independent evidence and absolutely no proof in support of their accusations, which means the entire film hinges solely on the word of two perjurers.
“We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice. Because despite all the disingenuous denials made that this is not about money, it has always been about money – millions of dollars – dating back to 2013 when both Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who share the same law firm, launched their unsuccessful claims against Michael’s Estate. Now that Michael is no longer here to defend himself, Robson, Safechuck and their lawyers continue their efforts to achieve notoriety and a payday by smearing him with the same allegations a jury found him innocent of when he was alive.”

Gugu Mbatha-Raw’s stalker terror

OHMYGOSSIP — Gugu Mbatha-Raw is allegedly being stalked by a woman who lives on her street.
The ‘Black Mirror’ actress complained to Los Angeles police that she believes she is being stalked and was horrified when the LAPD found a tracking device on her car.
According to TMZ, Gugu’s alleged stalker has managed to follow the actress around the city for almost two months thanks to a GPS tracker she placed under Gugu’s vehicle.
It has been claimed that the unnamed stalker has been showing up wherever Gugu goes, including “hotels, restaurants, spin classes and even her home”.
She has also reportedly been taking pictures of the actress and calling Gugu and her boyfriend repeatedly and then hanging up.
According to police documents, Gugu is worried the stalker could turn violent.
Gugu is not the only celebrity to have a stalker show up at her home. Last year, Kendall Jenner was awarded a five-year restraining order against her alleged stalker John Ford after he was found sitting outside her property for the second time in a week.
Ford now has to remain the agreed distance away from Kendall for five years, in a restraining order which also prevents him from having any direct or indirect contact with her.
Ford’s arrest in October came after another incident the week previous, in which he scaled the mountainside at the back of the gated complex where Kendall lives – where there is no security – and was spotted by Kendall’s team sitting in her backyard by her pool.
Police were called at the time but Ford had gone by the time they arrived, and so no arrest was made until he was spotted once again on Kendall’s front porch.
Following his arrest, 37-year-old Ford was being held on a 5150 psychiatric hold, but after a psychiatrist deemed him to be mentally stable the following day, he was released.
However, just hours after he was released, the LAPD swooped in to arrest Ford once again, booking him for criminal trespass and violating a restraining order.

Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson split

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson have split.
The ‘Love Island’ stars’ relationship has been under strain during Wes’ stint on ‘Dancing On Ice’ due to Megan’s feud with his professional partner Vanessa Bauer and following a robbery at their home on Thursday (24.01.18), a stressed Megan reportedly decided she needs time out from their romance.
A source told The Sun Online: “It’s all about Vanessa. She can’t get over her and doesn’t trust her.
“Since the robbery, Megan can’t handle the extra stress and has ended it with Wes. He’s devastated.”
Megan and Wes, 20, moved in together in October and have been talking about marriage but their relationship was put under strain after she accused Vanessa of a “tactical break-up” with her own boyfriend Louis Nathaniel, while partnering Wes on ‘Dancing On Ice’.
In an Instagram post in which she tagged Vanessa, Megan, 24, wrote: “@vanessabauer_skates love that you decide to announce your breakup with your boyfriend on the night of your first performance with my boyfriend! You’ve never reached out to me once or invited me to watch you train, it pained you to introduce yourself to me last night you didn’t even look me in the eye LOL hope the tactical breakup got you the headlines you wanted babe (sic).”
Megan added later in an interview that ‘DOI’ had been tough on their relationship.
She said: “Every woman will tell you it’s not ideal to have your boyfriend spending 12 hours a day with another woman – a little introduction from Vanessa would have gone a long way.
“‘Dancing on Ice’ is very romantic and all about looking into each other’s eyes and parading around on the ice and being loved up together – it’s not easy to watch.”
And after her and Wes’ apartment was robbed on Thursday, a stressed Megan decided to end the relationship.
Speaking after the robbery, a pal told The Sun: “The entire flat was completely ransacked by thieves. They clearly knew exactly what they were looking for because they cleared them out of a huge amount of jewellery and electrical items.
“Megan and Wes are obviously inconsolable, because a lot of their personal items also got taken in the robbery. The flat was left in utter carnage.”

Dido trying to curb swearing

OHMYGOSSIP — Dido had to “practise heavily” to stop herself swearing so much.
The ‘Thank You’ hitmaker – who has seven-year-old son Stanley with husband Rohan Gavin – admitted she used to curse a lot but thought she ought to reign in the bad language when she became a parent.
Asked her favourite swear word, she said: “It’s probably ‘shirt without the R’ as my son Stanley once said. He was like, ‘Why are you saying shirt without the R?’
“I practised heavily at containing my swearing when I was pregnant.
“I think I’ve done a pretty good job, I used to be pretty free with it.
“The best one I had was I was singing ‘White Flag’ and I got to the chorus and Stanley said, ‘Mummy, bad word.’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Then I realised the lyric was, ‘I will go down with this ship’ and he’d misheard it the whole time.
“Maybe that’s why it did so well, everyone misheard it.”
The 47-year-old singer loves being a parent and finds hanging out with her son “very relaxing” – though he can be “quite brutal” about her singing.
She told Q magazine: “Having a seven year old is the most fun you’re gonna have.
“It takes your mind off stuff. I like hanging out with him and we do fun stuff.
“There’s something very relaxing about it. You’re not thinking about work or anything, you’re just having really bizarre conversations and he’s really into music.
“He loves it when I sing my songs, but he’s not so keen when I start singing other people’s songs.
“He holds his hands over his ears. It’s quite brutal, to be honest.”

Margot Robbie’s work panic

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie has a “crisis of faith” every time she’s about to start a new job.
The ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actress is grateful her husband Tom Ackerley is so “patient” because she has the same stresses and concerns resurface whenever she begins her preparations for her next project.
She said: “The week leading up to the first day of playing every character I’ve ever played, I have a huge crisis of faith and convince myself that I’m a terrible actor and I’m not actually any good at this job and I’ll never be able to pull it off.
“And my husband’s like, ‘OK, you know you say this every single time, you know this happens the week leading up.’ He’s a patient man!”
The ‘I, Tonya’ actress has a production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, with her 29-year-old spouse and she thinks working together has made things much more “fun”.
She said: “I’m a great advocate of doing business with your partner. Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow.”
Margot, 28, and her spouse have a pact never to spend longer than three weeks apart, even if they have to go to great lengths to see one another.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Even if we both have to fly to a country in between where we both are for one night, we’ll do it and then fly back to work the next day. And we speak all day, every day on the phone.”

Coleen Rooney wrote off car after DC smash

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Rooney wrote off her car after an accident in Washington DC.
The 32-year-old star crashed her Honda CR-V near the home she shares with her soccer star husband Wayne Rooney and their children Kai, nine, Klay, five, Kit, three and Cass, 11 months, but managed to emerge unscathed despite the damage to the vehicle.
A source told The Sun: Coleen ended up having a bad smash when she was driving the family car. Luckily she escaped without a scrape on her but the motor was a mess.
“One side of the car was completely caved in. She couldn’t drive it away and it looked like a total write off. Obviously she was shaken up at the time but Coleen was just thankful no one was hurt.”
However, Coleen was reportedly not upset about writing off her car as she told friends she wanted to replace the “mumsy” motor with a flashier vehicle.
The insider explained: “Coleen prefers pricey Range Rovers to the mumsy Honda so getting a new motor was the silver lining on what was a horrible day.”
Meanwhile, last year Coleen admitted she feared their relationship could have ended after the sportsman was arrested for drink driving in another woman’s car.
Of her decision to remain with Wayne Coleen explained on Facebook: “A few people have been feeling sorry for me, please don’t. I appreciate getting cared about, however, I am a strong person, I don’t feel sorry for myself. Also a few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try and work on.
“Before the headlines start…. No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left. Yes, it has been a s**t time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end. (sic)”
Coleen – who has been with Wayne since their school days – explained that although she has not forgotten her husband’s mistakes, she is determined to make their marriage work.
The star wrote: “It’s my decision …. do I love Wayne … yes I do. If I didn’t then I wouldn’t be trying to make it work. I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don’t want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that’s what I want to do. I’m not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I’m not the type of person to put a show on and say we’re all loved-up….I’m just real. (sic)”

Michael Jackson’s estate slams Finding Neverland

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s estate has slammed the ‘Finding Neverland’ documentary.
The four-hour documentary, which details alleged sexual abuse of two young men by the late singer, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday (25.01.19) and Michael’s estate was quick to condemn it.
Dan Reed’s film follows two accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who have claimed that Michael sexually abused them but a statement from his estate, released just hours after the documentary premiered, lashed out at them, calling them “admitted liars.
The statement reads: “‘Leaving Neverland’ isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death.
“Tellingly, the director admitted at the Sundance Film Festival that he limited his interviews only to these accusers and their families. In doing so, he intentionally avoided interviewing numerous people over the years who spent significant time with Michael Jackson and have unambiguously stated that he treated children with respect and did nothing hurtful to them. By choosing not to include any of these independent voices who might challenge the narrative that he was determined to sell, the director neglected fact checking so he could craft a narrative so blatantly one-sided that viewers never get anything close to a balanced portrait.
“For 20 years, Wade Robson denied in court and in numerous interviews, including after Michael passed, that he was a victim and stated he was grateful for everything Michael had done for him. His family benefitted from Michael’s kindness, generosity and career support up until Michael’s death. Conveniently left out of ‘Leaving Neverland’ was the fact that when Robson was denied a role in a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil production, his assault allegations suddenly emerged.
“We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice. Because despite all the disingenuous denials made that this is not about money, it has always been about money – millions of dollars — dating back to 2013 when both Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who share the same law firm, launched their unsuccessful claims against Michael’s Estate. Debbie McGee reveals breast cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee has breast cancer.
The 60-year-old TV star – who is the widow of magician Paul Daniels – had surgery last week to remove two tumours after doctors found cancerous tissue in her left breast during a routine screening.
Debbie believes her cancer was triggered by stress and grief after Paul died from an incurable brain tumour in 2016 at the age of 77.
She told The Sun: “Stress, I think caused mine. I’ve never been through the stress I’ve been through since I lost Paul.
“Grief hits you in so many ways you’re not expecting. It’s not all about sadness.”
Debbie revealed a close friend of hers, who lost her husband four years ago, has also been diagnosed with cancer and both of them believe the stress from the death of their spouses is to blame.
Debbie was diagnosed in October and after successful surgery this month feels like the “luckiest person in the world” as doctors have given her the all-clear.
And although Debbie still misses Paul, she feels that she is finally moving on from her devastating grief.
She said: “I’m fine now. I’ve really got to a really good place. I just think the last two and a half years were so, so stressful. I’d never dealt with anything as big as that before.”
Last year, Debbie revealed she has started thinking about dating again and if she was to fall in love with another man she would consider tying the knot again and says competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2017 helped her to regain her confidence and get a new lease
She said: “I am just enjoying my life. I’ve male friends that have taken me to dinner or for drinks – and that is lovely. I would marry again if I met the right person but I am not looking.
“I think if you look you don’t get it. It’s like waiting for the kettle to boil and it never boils.”
Debbie was spotted in a West End show by a BBC producer who asked her to appear on ‘The Paul Daniels Magic Show’ – which ran from 1979 to 1994 – as his assistant. The pair then fell in love and married in April 1988.

Tom Hanks’ Greyhound pushed back until 2020

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hanks’ World War II movie ‘Greyhound’ has been pushed back to 2020.
The movie – which tells the story of a career officer, Commander Ernest Krause, who is given control of a US Navy destroyer called Greyhound – was originally set for release by Sony on March 22 of this year but has now been postponed until May 8, 2020.
Along with starring in the film – which is directed by Aaron Schneider – Tom, 62, wrote the script and is also producing.
The movie will see his character deal with his enemies and also wage a battle against his own personal self-doubt.
Meanwhile, in December, Hanks’ Mr. Rogers biopic was finally given an official title.
The actor is set to star as Fred Rogers – who hosted ‘Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood’, the popular educational children’s TV series of the 60s and 70s which aired on PBS – in the upcoming biographical film, and the production will be called ‘A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood’.
The fact-based drama is produced by Sony Pictures, and was previously known to the public as ‘You Are my Friend’, before the studio insisted there was no official title yet.
‘A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood’ is directed by Marielle Heller, and alongside Hanks as the TV icon himself, Matthew Rhys plays journalist Lloyd Vogel, while Enrico Colantoni, Chris Cooper, Tammy Blanchard, and Sakina Jaffrey fill out the cast list.
The story is based on Alexis Jolly’s screenplay which was sold in 2013 – though the final script for the movie was written by Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster – and tells the true story of jaded journalist Tom Junod, who has his worldview changed when he sees Mr. Rogers’s sincerity is genuine.
‘A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood’ is set to be released in October 2019.

Tyga sued by Pretty Maw over Swap Meet

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyga is being sued by Pretty Maw.
A new lawsuit filed by the rapper alleges Tyga, 29, used the lyrics from her song “17th” in his 2018 smash hit ‘Swap Meet’ without proper clearance.
According to TMZ, she alleges that the pair had an agreement that Tyga would pay her a “fixed monetary amount” and royalties from ‘Swap Meet’, which was released in 2018.
Pretty Maw, who appears at the end of Tyga’s ‘Swap Meet’, video – which has over seven million views on YouTube – also claims that the track “heavily samples her work.
Pretty Maw, who has not been credited on Tyga’s song, is seeking an undisclosed payment from Tyga and is also asking for the discontinued distribution of ‘Swap Meet’.
Over the past few years, Tyga has become well known for his high profile relationships with Blac Chyna, the mother of his six-year-old son King Cairo, and Kylie Jenner, but last year, he insisted that he wanted to be known for his music rather than his personal life.
He said: “I really wanted to step in front of the narrative and create my own story. I’m telling my story and it’s authentic — it’s not made up and people are going to be able to put a face to it. The last five years of my life has been a lot of me in the media because of my relationships.”
“It’s definitely the first time in my career that I talked about love and even related to that emotion. That’s the one thing in the world that everyone can relate to.
“With my son getting older and what’s going on in the world, a lot of the music that really inspired me from the late ’90s and early 2000s — that whole generation of music. I just feel like this is what the world needs.”
