Malin Andersson pays tribute to daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Malin Andersson has paid tribute to her baby girl with a heartbreaking poem.
The ‘Love Island’ star revealed on Wednesday (23.01.19) that her and partner Tom Kemp’s daughter Consy had tragically passed away just a month after she was born seven weeks prematurely and now she’s shared a touching verse called ‘Little Butterfly’ in honour of the tot.
The poem, which was originally written by Amy Farquhar in memory of her son Alfie, was shared on Malin’s Instagram Story and reads: “I lived my life inside you, cocooned in all your love. So mama, papa, please don’t cry. I’m still with you, just up above.
“I felt your every heartbeat, it’s my sweetest melody. And for every heavenly bedtime, the angels play it back to me.
“I know how much I am wanted, I feel so very blessed. Of all the mummy’s in all the world, I got the very best!
“You think of me in all your waking hours, and on those sleepless nights.
“Just look out the window and you’ll find me, the brightest star the most dazzling light.
“I’m that little breeze in the summer, and I’m that unexpected white feather. I plucked it from my downy wings, so that you remember we are always together.
“I know how much it hurt your soul, when we had to say goodbye. But I’m not gone, I’m always here. I’m your sweet little butterfly.”
The 25-year-old star had used Instagram to announce her sad loss.
Malin – who lost her mother last year – shared a photo of her daughter on Instagram and wrote: “Completely in love with you.. and my Mum just wanted you to be with her.
“Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes.
“I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy.
“My angel. Rest in peace CONSY GLORIA EMMA ANDERSSON-KEMP.”

Zachary Levi says Shazam! is ‘between Superman and Big’

OHMYGOSSIP — Zachary Levi thinks the ‘Shazam!’ movie will occupy the space “between ‘Superman’ and ‘Big'”.
The 38-year-old actor – who is set to star as the superhero character in the David F. Sandberg-directed movie – feels he brings something different to the role, admitting he doesn’t have the same kind of physique as the likes of Chris Pratt, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
He confessed: “There was definitely a part of me that felt like, ‘Oh, maybe I’m never really going to have my shot at something like this because you need to be, I don’t know, one of the Chrises.’
“I don’t know, either starting super-ripped or super-moody or super-sexy, whatever that is. I always felt like I was more of an every-guy.
“I felt like I was following in a Tom Hanks kind of trajectory. But then when I realised that we genuinely were making something between ‘Superman’ and ‘Big’, I was like, ‘Damn, this is a dream job.’
“I couldn’t have prayed or thought about this more. So, there, that’s how I became me … in this.”
Zachary is a self-confessed comic-book fanatic, and he is relishing the chance of starring in the ‘Shazam!’ movie.
He told Collider: “As a nerd who loved and lived this world for so long, and still do to some level, that I don’t have to restrain myself with the f***ing coolness factor, is so great.
“I have to act so little. I just get to be me on so many levels. It’s great. It’s really really fun.”

Sir Michael Caine: Success has strengthened my faith in God

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Michael Caine’s career success has strengthened his belief in God.
The Academy Award-winning actor – who has risen from a working-class neighbourhood in London to become one of the world’s best-known stars – thinks divine intervention has helped to elevate him towards the top of the movie business.
He explained: “I don’t go to church but I do believe in God. If you were me, you would have to, because how the hell this happened to me, I don’t know.
“I was a nobody from nowhere who knew nothing and just set out to do something without requiring fame, money, recognition, anything.”
On the other hand, Michael believes that his working-class background has, in some respects, actually helped his career.
The 85-year-old star thinks fans like him because they consider him to be relatable.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “In the 60s, we were the first working-class people to become movie stars.
“The reason for that was that people didn’t worship us, really. They just said, ‘Oh, here’s a man just like me, so we’re the same, you know. And I bet if I met him he’d talk to me and have a beer.'”
Despite his success, Michael still has some career regrets, including the decision to star in the 1978 disaster-horror film ‘The Swarm’.
He confessed: “It’s about [killer] bees. I did it without reading the script, because I said, ‘Who’s in it?’ and they gave this me great big star list: Henry Fonda, Olivia de Havilland, Jose Ferrer. I said, ‘I’ll do it.’
“One day we were all having a conversation with live bees above us, and suddenly we noticed all these little black dots on our shirts. The bees were s****ing on us. And so the first review was in, but we didn’t know it at the time.”

Anne Hathaway admits to being ‘swamped’ by Serenity shoot

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway felt “swamped” by the stresses of shooting ‘Serenity’.
The Academy Award-winning actress – who stars alongside Matthew McConaughey in the Steven Knight-directed drama movie – has admitted that it was tough to turn off from the film at the end of each day on set.
Anne, 36 – who has been married to actor Adam Shulman since 2012 – shared: “It wasn’t the longest job, I think we were only there for five weeks, but I remember on the last week looking at my husband and saying something to him, and he looked at me and he said, ‘I’m going to give you the dignity of your process right now. I know this isn’t you. You’ve got two days left. I’ll talk to you in two days.'”
Anne thinks her performance in the film – which tells the story of a fishing boat captain who is approached by his ex-wife to murder her new husband – was helped by it being shot in Mauritius.
As a result, the Hollywood star was able to spend more time discussing the project with the director and her co-stars.
She told Refinery29: “One of the best things about being as far away from home as we were on this one was that we were all staying at the same place, and there was a lot of opportunity to have conversations.
“I would meet with Steven to discuss the work week we had coming up, and we would hash it all out so there was room and we weren’t coming up with it on the set.
“I wanted to talk to him about all that [dialogue] because I thought that one of the opportunities in playing this character was to play a character with all the iconography of a femme fatale, but with the history of the feminist movement behind her.
“I thought it was as great way to subvert expectations about a femme fatale.”

Cornonation Street’s Michael Le Vell goes eco warrior

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Michael Le Vell is determined to save fields near his home from development.
The 54-year-old soap actor appeared in a video in which he expressed his “shock” that developers are planning to build 2,400 houses near his property in Timperley, Greater Manchester.
Michael said: “My name is Michael Le Vell and this is the first time I’ve heard of this. It goes on for miles. I’m shocked.
“All the Green Belt is going and no-one seems to know about it. Why are there no posters up? Why are residents not being informed and all this?”
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “He’s really angry about the plans. The way he sees it is huge swathes of the countryside are being turned over to housing and eventually there will be nothing left.
“He is determined to help fight to get the plan halted.”
Campaigners have claimed that 70 per cent of the properties will not be affordable for locals.
Michael – who has been on the hit ITV soap opera since 1983 – is best known for his role as mechanic Kevin Webster.
The development plans near his home are not only thing which has shocked Michael recently.
Last year, he admitted being “surprised” to hear how quickly sepsis can affect the human body after researching a ‘Coronation Street’ storyline about the condition.
He said: “What the show does is well is it picks the right moments to shock, and when not to shock.
“We’re only playing pretend but to lots of families out there it’s real life.
“I was talking to a guy last week, Matthew. He and his wife went on honeymoon three years ago and both got a sore throat. His wife responded to the antibiotics, he ended up with five months in hospital, five months in a coma, five cardiac arrests, lost part of his legs.
“This is just from a sore throat on honeymoon.
“I was surprised how quick it [sepsis] can affect the body.”
In the ‘Corrie’ plot, Kevin’s son Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) had to have his leg amputated after the youngster was struck down with sepsis, a serious complication of an infection, also known as blood disease.

“So I wore this dress instead that shows off everything.
“I’ve accepted my body and I’m happy with curves, and I love my boobs. I’m representing the curvy girls and that’s great.
“I’m looking for a new man, but I haven’t found one yet. I’m working on it.”
In 2016, Scarlett faced backlash over her fitness DVD after after it was claimed she had shed three stone by attending a bootcamp, where she was said to have been eating less than 700 calories a day.

She previously said: “If I’ve learnt anything, and if I can encourage others, I’d say try to focus and love the people that are loving you, rather than hate the people hating you.
“Otherwise you get into this cycle of negative thoughts. You have to try and blank it out. I always think, ‘I wouldn’t say that to people’.”

Rudimental claim Ed Sheeran isn’t married yet

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran’s close pals in Rudimental have claimed he’s not married yet.
The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker seemingly claimed he had already married his childhood sweetheart Cherry Seaborn – whom he got engaged to in 2017 – but the chart-topping group, who collaborated with Ed on ‘Bloodstream’ and ‘Lay It All On Me’, have revealed they’ve been invited to the 27-year-old singer/songwriter’s nuptials, which they say will take place later this year.
Band member Piers Aggett said: “We did get an invite to the wedding an I am looking forward to it.
“He had to invite us after we said we’ll crash it, we’ll have a drink with him and celebrate his amazing day.”
And his bandmate Kesi Dryden even suggested they could DJ for the couple.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: “There’s no way that we are going to the wedding and we won’t be DJing.
“He hasn’t asked, it’s just what happens at some point.
“I’m pretty sure it will be fun. Ed’s got a lot of friends and he’s a nice guy.”
Ed hinted he may have already tied the knot after admitting he “never” does anything “too public anyway” during an interview last August.
When asked by Access about when his nuptials are, the flame-haired star merely shrugged and pointed to what appeared to be a wedding band on his ring finger, and then when quizzed on how he “managed to sneak that one”, he replied: “Well, I never really do anything too public anyway.”
The ‘Perfect’ singer also remained coy about whether or not his wedding has already happened by shrugging once again when asked in another interview if he had married, and admitted small nuptials have “a good vibe”.
He said: “I don’t like large groups of people at the best of times so … I never wanted a wedding that was lots of people.”
Ed had got people guessing about his marital status when got people talking about the possibly of a secret ceremony in February.
He was spotted wearing a potential wedding ring on his hand, but later confirmed it was his engagement ring, and admitted the presence of the band will mean “nobody will know” when they have got hitched.
He said at the time: “We didn’t get secretly married, no, she made me this ring out of silver clay, so we were both kinda wearing rings.
“It also means that nobody will know when we have got married.”

Joel Kinnaman ‘splits from wife’

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Kinnaman has reportedly split from his wife Cleo Wattenstrom.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ actor, 39 – who plays Colonel Rick Flag in the DC Comics franchise – and his 26-year-old tattooist spouse allegedly parted ways last year, but remain close friends, according to Us Weekly.
The couple first started dating in 2014.
Joel tries to keep his private life out of the spotlight, but two years after dating the brunette beauty, the ‘House of Cards’ star corrected ‘The Talk’ host Aisha Tyler during an interview on the show when she referred to Cleo as his “girlfriend”.
Whilst they were discussing the matching tattoos the cast of ‘Suicide Squad’ – which also starred Jared Leto as The Joker and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn – had done, he said Cleo was actually “my wife”.
Joel then revealed that the pair secretly married at ‘Same Day Marriage’ in Los Angeles, which offers quick ceremonies for a few hundred dollars.
He said: “I’m a romantic guy. I took her to this very romantic place on San Vicente Boulevard called Same Day Marriage. That was it. This little Russian lady sitting inside there, she was like, ‘Do you want to get married? $435, quick’.”
Despite no longer being romantically attached, the pair have been spotted out and about with their mutual friends and recently attended a UFC fight.
On November 25, Belgium-born Cleo – who still uses Joel’s surname on her instagram profile – shared a series of photos of the pair together to mark his birthday and even posted the red heart emoji.
She captioned the post: “JOEL!!!!!!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! (sic)”
Joel previously dated Olivia Munn, 38, for two years, between 2012 and 2014.
Neither Joe or Cleo have commented on their split.

Duchess Meghan’s former show Suits is axed

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Meghan’s former TV series ‘Suits’ has been axed.
The 37-year-old former actress – who is expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry – played Rachel Zane in Aaron Korsh’s hit US legal drama from the first episode in 2011, until her last appearance in 2018.
SYFY announced on Wednesday (23.01.19) that the show will come to an end after the ninth instalment, which will be 10 episodes long.
Chris McCumber, president of USA Network and SYFY, said: “‘Suits’ has played an instrumental role in our network’s DNA for nearly a decade.
“I and everyone at USA Network sincerely thank Aaron Korsh, our partners at UCP and the entire ‘Suits’ family for their tremendous creativity, devotion and support over a truly amazing run.”
Despite Meghan leaving the show ahead of her engagement to the Duke of Sussex, 34, most of the ‘Suits’ cast, including Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and her on-screen love interest Patrick J. Adams attended the couple’s wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May.
Meghan will no doubt be saddened by the news that ‘Suits’ is coming to an end, as she loved playing her stylish lawyer alter-ego, and felt like “a kid in a candy store” when it came to picking out her outfits.
Celebrity costume designer Jolie Andreatta explained previously: “Meghan and I loved Rachel’s clothes. We’d always say that, if we could, we would live in Rachel’s clothes. Designing Rachel’s look was like being a kid in a candy store.”
When she stepped down from acting to join the Royal Family, Meghan insisted that rather than dwelling on the end of her career, she would commit herself to making a change in the world with her humanitarian work.
She said: “I see it as new change, a new chapter. I’ve been working on my show [for] seven years, we were so fortunate to have that longevity, and I feel like I checked that box and am very proud of the work I’ve done there.”

Danniella Westbrook hasn’t spoken to daughter for three years

OHMYGOSSIP — Danniella Westbrook hasn’t spoken to her daughter for three years and she admits it is “difficult” to be estranged from her as she battles womb cancer.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress’ 17-year-old child Jody has been living with her father – Danniella’s former husband Kevin Jenkins – for stability as her mother has had to deal with her substance abuse issues and online stalker.
Although she believes the best place for Jody is with her dad at the moment, Danniella would love to have contact again especially as she doesn’t know what her long-term prognosis is.
Appearing on the ‘Jeremy Vine’ TV show on Channel 5 on Thursday morning (24.01.19), she said: “Jody is with her dad and that’s just a whole different issue because of different things but the stalker did play a huge part in that for her own safety. I haven’t spoken to Jody for three years. She’s 17, she’s gorgeous. Look, it’s very difficult, especially since I’ve been ill. Jody is doing her life and she’s doing very well, she’s done brilliantly at school and now she’s in college and she’s doing great, and her dad is a great dad and he’s doing what’s best for her, right now. It’s probably a safer and much better environment for her whilst I’ve got all this stuff going on, with trials and different things and being ill, she should be there right now.”
Although Danniella is estranged from her daughter she has a very close relationship with her 22-year-old son Kai – whose father is her ex-partner Robert Fernandez – and he has been supporting her every step of the way through her cancer battle.
The 45-year-old TV star accepts that she has put her son through a lot with her cocaine use and turbulent private life but she insists that Kai is not like her carer and they still have a mother and son dynamic even though they have been through some very tough times together.
She said: “Kai has looked after me very well since I’ve been sick, he’s been great to me and he’s good mate as well as anything else. He’s come through a lot of stuff and he’s a great kid and we’re very close.
“People think my son is my carer, that’s not true. He’s a very well put together kid. My son didn’t lose his childhood, he’s had a very privileged one at times and a very poverty stricken one at times, that’s what people don’t understand, people think he has been born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he really hasn’t he’s lived in homeless shelters and in my car with me. There’s been times when he’s had to stuff for us to survive.”
Danniella Westbrook wants to reunite with her estranged daughter as she battles cancer.
The actress and television personality is desperate to see her 17-year-old daughter – who she has with her former spouse Kevin Jenkins – as she fears she could pass away.
One pal said: “She told me she hasn’t seen Jody recently.”
Whilst another friend added to the Daily Star on Sunday: “Jody lives with Kevin. Dan has this gut feeling that she won’t outrun this. We’re telling her medicine can work wonders these days and she has caught it early, but she just has this feeling even the hysterectomy will be too much for her and she’ll die on the table. She just wants to see Jody.”
Last month, Danniella revealed she is battling womb cancer and is currently waiting to see if it has spread to other parts of her body.
She said: “I’ve always said I am not scared of dying. But when the doctor said, ‘You have cancer’, straight away my thoughts turned to Jade [Goody] and that I don’t want to die. I know I need to fight. After what happened with Jade I was frightened to talk to anyone about my cancer at first. She was my friend and what happened was so awful. There is part of me that thinks I would rather just be ill and not know about it – to just get on with life. But then I thought about the kids and I thought that is a selfish way to be. I’ve tried to commit suicide before but getting this diagnosis has made me realise I don’t want to die. I want to live and sort out my health. I know I have to fight, I know I have to get up and battle it.”

Mark Strong: TV’s golden age has helped comic-book movies

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Strong thinks the rise of TV has helped comic-book movies to thrive.
The 55-year-old actor – who stars in the upcoming ‘Shazam!’ movie – has claimed that TV is currently enjoying a “golden age”, and that the trend is benefiting the superhero film genre.
Mark – who will play the villain Doctor Thaddeus Sivana in ‘Shazam!’ – explained: “When I started acting these big comic book movies didn’t really exist. They were extremely rare if they did.
“So now that they’ve become the staple fare of cinema, and I think what happened is … because the technology has advanced so far, and I’m sure you’ve all heard this before, and because television is now having its golden age, so a lot of the writers of drama have moved from film to TV, which leaves the kind of cinema to take care of these big spectacles. And it just so happens comic book movies are spectacles, especially with the advent of the technology that is available nowadays.”
Mark also revealed how shooting a superhero movie differs from filming a typical drama.
Speaking to Collider, he shared: “It’s really exciting. I mean, the truth is if you shoot a film that is more of a drama it tends to be more dialogue scenes and less CGI heavy.
“You do a film like this … it’s incremental moments that then get put together in the edit, so the kind of work you’re doing in either of those worlds is very different. But the payoff for movies like this is that I can’t wait for the day I sit down and I watch it on the big screen.”

Nicholas Hoult says Dark Phoenix co-star Jennifer Lawrence is like ‘family’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicholas Hoult says working with Jennifer Lawrence on ‘Dark Phoenix’ was like being reunited with “family”.
The 29-year-old actor – who previously dated the Oscar-winning actress – has insisted they’ve still got a great relationship despite their split, likening the on-set atmosphere to that of the British drama series ‘Skins’.
Nicholas – who starred in ‘Skins’ earlier in his career – explained: “It’s pretty similar to ‘Skins’, we’re a big family, we’ve been doing those movies since we were 20 years old.
“As much as the ‘Skins’ crowd grew up together, the ‘X-Men’ crowd really grew up together. It’s been a good eight, nine years making those movies. We’ve all got to get along, we’ve all got to have fun.”
Nicholas stars as Beast in the ‘X-Men’ franchise, and he’s admitted to having more creative freedom whilst working on the latest film.
The actor told this week’s issue of ES Magazine: “The really beautiful thing about this last film is that [writer and director] Kim Berger has given me somewhere nice and new to experiment and go with the character. Which is cool.”
Meanwhile, Olivia Colman – who starred alongside Nicholas in ‘The Favourite’ – recently hailed the actor, saying he has a “very naughty twinkle”.
Olivia admitted he was the funniest of the movie’s star-studded cast, which also included the likes of Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz.
Speaking about Nicholas – who plays the political schemer Robert Harley – Olivia shared: “He is funny anyway, he has a very naughty twinkle. When you put him in heels, a three-foot wig and lipstick … we couldn’t look him in the eye.”
The full interview appears in this week’s edition of ES Magazine on Thursday (24.01.19).

Sandra Bullock teams up with Chris McKay for Reborn

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Bullock is teaming up with director Chris McKay for an adaptation of the ‘Reborn’ comic book.
The 54-year-old actress – who recently starred in ‘Bird Box’ – has signed on for another Netflix project, working with Chris on a movie version of the Millarworld comic book.
The film will tell the story of an 80-year-old woman who dies and finds herself resurrected in Adystria – a world populated by monsters and dragons.
Chris – whose previous credits include ‘The Lego Batman Movie’ – will direct the film, according to The Hollywood Report, which says that Sandra, Roy Lee and Miri Yoon will produce the project.
Netflix bought the rights to Millarworld in 2017 and has subsequently been trying to develop various films and TV shows based off its titles.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Sandra claimed that streaming has changed the movie industry for the better.
The Hollywood star believes “streaming has elevated the bar” in terms of opportunities for actors and has created more work for “women and people of colour”.
She said: “Cinema is not going anywhere, streaming has elevated the bar. Before, if you were a superhero, you were able to get a movie made; anything else was not getting made.
“Now, with streaming, we have all kinds of work available. The movie business is changing, and providing so many more opportunities for women and for people of colour.”

Sir Michael Caine: Jack Nicholson taught me not to quit

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Michael Caine says Jack Nicholson taught him the value of refusing to quit.
The veteran movie star actually retired from acting in the 90s, but Jack convinced him to change his mind after he was offered a role in the drama film ‘Blood and Wine’.
Michael recalled: “I got a script from a producer and he said, ‘You play the father, not the lover,’ and I thought, ‘Oh, I’m retired, it’s over, forget it.’
“I emigrated to Miami for the winter, and Jack was living there and we became friends. I decided I wasn’t going to work again and then Jack said, ‘I’ve got a movie called ‘Blood and Wine’, and there’s a very good part for you in it,’ and he talked me into doing it. The lesson was: Never give up.”
Michael, 85, initially over-indulged after finding success in the movie business, buying a Rolls-Royce even though he couldn’t drive at the time.
But as his career has progressed, the Oscar-winning star has become increasingly keen to keep a low profile – which is why he now drives “gray cars”.
Asked about his most extravagant purchases, Michael told Rolling Stone magazine: “In the 60s, after I’d just made ‘Alfie’, ‘The Ipcress File’ and ‘Zulu’, I had enough money to buy a Rolls-Royce, so I went out and bought one. I couldn’t drive, so I had to rent a chauffeur. Very expensive, and I never did anything that stupid again. I only kept it for a couple years, then sold it.
“Once you become famous you don’t want a Rolls-Royce because everybody looks to see who’s inside it. I’ve now got gray cars that everyone drives. No one ever looks in my car.”
