Prince William’s mental health campaign was shunned by celebrities

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William admits a host of celebrities rejected the chance to support his mental health campaign because of the stigma surrounding the issue.
The 36-year-old royal created the Heads Together charity – which strives to support people with mental health and wellbeing concerns – in 2016, but the Prince has revealed that he and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, initially struggled to generate high-profile support for their campaign.
He shared: “When we set up the campaign not one celebrity wanted to join us, not one person wanted to help with the campaign because it was mental health.”
The Prince also claimed that British attitudes towards mental health can be traced back as far as World War Two, saying that a stiff-upper-lip approach has prevented some people from speaking honestly about their worries.
He explained: “I take it as far back as the war.
“It was very very difficult for everybody, losing so many loved ones and dealing with such horrendous circumstances that no matter how much you can talk you were never going to fix the issue.
“Completely by accident they passed that on to the next generation, we all learn from our parents we all learn from how they deal with things.
“So this whole generation inherited that this is how we deal with problems we don’t talk about them. I think that now there’s a generation here that’s realising this is not normal and we should talk about them. We should get over it.”
Meanwhile, Prince William also confessed that working in the air ambulance led him to retreat into his “shell”.
He said: “I was dealing with a lot of trauma on a day in, day out basis, stuff that your body is not programmed to deal with.
“I might have gone into my shell a bit and thought ‘I can deal with this myself’ and then potentially down the line it manifests itself in a much worse situation.”

Future is ‘happy’ for Ciara and Russell Wilson

OHMYGOSSIP — Future has “no problems” with Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson.
The 35-year-old rapper – who has a four-year-old son, also called Future, with his former partner – has claimed he’s “happy” for the loved-up duo, despite recently accusing the NFL player of failing to act “like a man” in their relationship, but admitted he had a problem relating to his child.
He said: “We don’t have no problems. It’s a social media problem. No, I don’t hate him. Totally not the deal. It was just the way we were carrying it, as far as being handled with baby Future.”
Future added that, in spite of his recent remarks, he doesn’t have any negative feelings towards Russell, who married Ciara in 2016 and has 20-month-old daughter Sienna with her.
He told the ‘Durtty Boyz Show’: “I don’t have nothing against him, and I’m happy for them.”
By contrast, Future previously slammed Russell for allowing himself to be dictated to by his wife.
The rapper also argued that the NFL star ought to ban Ciara from mentioning her ex-fiance on her social media accounts.
He said: “He do exactly what she tell him to do. He’s not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him, I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!'”
The ‘Fine China’ hitmaker – who was engaged to Ciara at one point during their relationship – went on to say that if the situation was reversed and he was married to the singer, he would stop her from “bringing her exes’ names up”.
He explained: “If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up. Don’t give that s**t no energy.”

Demi Lovato praises Bebe Rexha for calling out designers

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has shown her support for Bebe Rexha after she claimed designers won’t dress her for the Grammys because she is “too big”.
The 29-year-old pop star, who is nominated for New Artist and Country Duo/Group Performance at the prestigious ceremony on February 10, took to Instagram to slam designers for not wanting to work with her on a custom made gown because she is a size eight.
And since then she has been flooded with messages from the likes of the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer, 26, and R&B star Neyo.
Demi – who has previously opened up about her battle with body confidence – commented on Bebe’s post: “F****ing preach!!! Love this and you for speaking your mind and using your voice!!!”
Whilst the 39-year-old ‘So Sick’ hitmaker wrote: “Amen.”
The ‘I Got You’ hitmaker has also seen several designers reach out on the photo-sharing app to offer to dress her for the star-studded bash.
The songwriter has been approached by the designer August Getty, who has dressed her before, as well as the likes of Kim Kardashian West, Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry.
The 24-year-old founder of the fashion brand August Getty Atelier commented on the post: “You are beautiful! Every woman of every size is beautiful! Just let me know when I should start sketching.”
And Michael Costello – who designed Beyonce’s iconic white lace dress at the 2014 Grammys – commented: “Bebe we have been friends for a long time i got you! Call me. (sic)”
In a video posted on her account, she fumed: “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like the coolest thing ever.
“And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet … So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”
The ‘Meant to Be’ singer is angry that the designers who have snubbed her are giving out the wrong message that anyone who is size eight and above isn’t “beautiful”.
She added: “If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses. ‘Cause that’s crazy … You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses.”
Bebe captioned the clip: “Im sorry, I had to get this off my chest. If you don’t like my fashion style or my music that’s one thing. But don’t say you can’t dress someone that isn’t a runway size. Empower women to love their bodies instead of making girls and women feel less then by their size. We are beautiful any size! Small or large! Anddddd My size 8 ass is still going to the Grammys. #LOVEYOURBODY (sic)”

Wiz Khalifa’s $3.4m new mansion

OHMYGOSSIP — Wiz Khalifa has splashed out $3.4 million on a new mansion.
The ‘Black and Yellow’ hitmaker forked out the sum on a plush four-bedroom pad in Encino, California, which is near the celebrity hotspot of Calabasas in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Wiz’s new abode features floating stairs, floor-to-ceiling doors and a home theatre, which could be ideal if he ever feels the need to re-watch direct-to-DVD movie ‘Mac & Devin Go to High School’, in which he starred as Devin in 2012.
While it’s known for being sunny in California, the 31-year-old rapper will be nice and warm inside his new property, too, because the master bedroom has its own fireplace.
But should the hip hop star need to cool down after a toasty morning in his boudoir, he will be able to have a dip in his outdoor pool, which features a waterfall island.
Wiz will also have plenty of space for beverages thanks to the house’s 100-bottle wine bar.
However, he may prefer to stock the space with champagne as he has been known to rap about the alcoholic beverage before.
In his debut single, 2010’s ‘Black and Yellow’, he says: “I’m sippin’ Clicquot and rocking yellow diamonds.”
He is also thought to be a fan of Bombay Sapphire gin after spitting the lyrics “some Bombay and some champagne” on his track ‘Taylor Hoe’, and “drinking Bombay so I’m slizzered” on ‘O.N.I.F.C.’.
The house comes with a built-in alarm and four cameras, which could prove particularly useful.
Last August, Wiz’s San Fernando Valley property was broken into when two men wearing hoodies broke some glass and entered the abode.
He wasn’t there at the time, but the pair fled when his house sitter heard the noise and went downstairs.

Jason Gardiner ‘threatens to sue Gemma Collins’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Gardiner is said to be planning to take legal action against Gemma Collins after she accused him of “selling stories” about her.
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge and the 37-year-old show contestant were involved in a big, heated bust-up during last Sunday’s (20.01.19) live show, on which she made the accusation and also branded him “boring”, and he is said to be “livid”.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Jason has made Gemma aware that he intends to sue her. He’s livid.
“He insists that all he did was give an interview to The Sun, where he was asked about lots of things, including Gemma.”
Gemma is said to be keen for the issue to “die down” so she can concentrate on her skating.
It comes after Jason described Gemma as “lazy” in an interview last Saturday (19.01.19).
Following Sunday’s huge row, in which Jason described Gemma as a “brat” following her article accusation, he wrote on Twitter: “Being wrongly accused of ‘selling stories’ was a blatant attempt to defame my character. (sic)”
And earlier this week, Gemma’s skating partner Matt Evers fuelled further speculation that Jason had sold stories about her, as the former ‘TOWIE’ star had suggested.
He said: “First and foremost I will defend Jason yes there wasn’t a lot of content. I didn’t have a lot of rehearsal time with her this past week. He was absolutely correct saying that, as well as the other judges on that part.
“However, word has it he did sell a couple of stories this week and she went for gold. It was spicy.
“Basically, when it comes to ‘DOI’ you have a choice to either go through ITV press office to release interviews and kinda release statements and things like that, it’s a bit controlled but people know what’s happening.
“Thursday the story came out that she was a disgrace to humanity and lack of a better term.”
But Jason later took to Twitter to insist his PR agent informs ITV about every interview he conducts, and he added: “Matt is uninformed & propagating lies to try & defame my character. (sic)”
Matt has back-tracked on his comments, tweeting: “Always own up to your mistakes! I just want to say sorry to Jason as today on Heart FM I intimated he sold stories to a newspaper. I totally got my wires crossed and I apologise. It’s been one hell of a 24 hours! (sic)”
Jason, 47, has also hit out at people who he claims are trying to gain “publicity at [his] expense”.
In response to a supporter, he wrote on Twitter: “People in glass houses mate. I’m afraid they all jump on bandwagon to get publicity at my expense. Pay them all no heed. End of day, I’m still the only original judge on the show. Thank you for your support David. #honestjudge (sic)”
On Tuesday (22.01.19), Gemma took to Instagram to reveal she is taking a break from social media until Sunday (27.01.19) because she needs to concentrate on her skating after receiving the lowest score of the series in last Sunday’s show.
She wrote: “Guys after today I can’t be on social as I really need to up my skating skills I’m not leaving you but I really need to focus here’s a little something to keep you going xxx il be back up and running Sunday (sic)”

Joely Richardson, Tommy Chong, Elliot Knight, Julian Hilliard, and Q’Orianka Kilcher will also star in the movie, on which the principal photography is due to begin next month.
Richard Stanley will direct the motion picture – the first time he has helmed a feature film in 20 years – and he has penned the script alongside Scarlett Amaris.
SpectreVision’s Daniel Noah is among the producers on the project, and he has praised the director as a “wizard in his own right”.
He said: “Richard Stanley – a wizard in his own right – will at long last bring Lovecraft’s humbling power to the screen unfiltered.
“Lovecraft is the dark father of modern horror, and we have been searching for an adaptation that captures the true scope of his cosmic dread for years.”
Wood will also produce the film alongside Noah, Josh C. Waller, and Lisa Whalen.
The movie will tell the story about a family, the Gardners, who move to rural New England to escape the hustle and bustle of the 21st century, yet their world is turned upside down when a meteorite crashes into their yard.

Gina Rodriguez lands lead role in Bobbie Sue

OHMYGOSSIP — Gina Rodriguez has landed the lead role in ‘Bobbie Sue’.
The ‘Jane the Virgin’ star’s next big screen gig sees her take on the titular role in the legal drama, which sees ‘Uncle Drew’ director Charles Stone III at the helm.
Variety provided the following plot description: “The story follows Sue, who after being raised among five rowdy brothers in blue-collar South Boston, is a scrappy, headstrong young lawyer who lands a career-making case with an upper crust law firm, only to realise she’s been hired for optics and not her expertise. But after discovering her powerful client, a lifelong idol and fellow Southie native, is trying to cover up exploiting workers within her company, Bobbie decides to take both her and the law firm on, caution and etiquette be damned.”
Warner Bros. acquired the rights to the script in 2008, and Cameron Diaz was previously in line for the role of Sue.
The movie is set to start filming later this year, with auditions for the rest of the cast already said to be underway.
As well as starring in the lead role, Rodriguez will also executive produce along with Emily Gipson and Donald De Line – whose most recent job was 2018’s ‘Ready Player One’ – has been named as producer.
Rodriguez has a busy year ahead in cinema, as her next big screen role sees her play make-up artist Gloria Meyer in the thriller ‘Miss Bala’ and she is also set to play a part in Miranda July’s currently untitled crime drama film.
She also has a leading part in the Netflix romantic comedy ‘Someone Great’ alongside Brittany Snow and DeWanda Wise.
Rodriguez shot to fame as Jane Villanueva in The CW satirical romantic drama series ‘Jane the Virgin’ in 2014, which saw her win a Golden Globe Award in 2015.

Cheryl Tweedy in talks for own beauty reality show

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Tweedy is reportedly in talks for her own beauty reality show.
The former ‘X Factor’ judge – who shot to fame as a member of Girls Aloud, who won the talent show ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ in 2002 – is said to have held meetings with the same network behind her current show ‘The Greatest Dancer’, Thames TV, to discuss her ideas for the programme which would see the 35-year-old singer find the perfect “glam squad”.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “When it comes to hair and beauty Cheryl is a real expert and would love to help bring through the next generation of talent.
“It’s in the early stages but there’s a huge belief in the show.”
The show would see the ‘Love Made Me Do It’ singer search up and down the country for the best beauticians to join the ultimate team.
Meanwhile, Cheryl – who was previously a L’Oreal Paris’ UK spokesmodel – has been urged by Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge Shirley Ballas to sign up for the BBC One ballroom and Latin show this year.
The 58-year-old dancer would love to see the former Girls Aloud star test her limits on the dancefloor.
She said recently: “There’s a few names bouncing around but I’m open to anybody that goes on. I would like to see Cheryl [Tweedy] on it. You know, I think she would make a great contestant.”
And although she’s a fan of the 35-year-old singer, she says she hasn’t been tuning in to see her on ‘The Greatest Dancer’, which also stars ‘Strictly’ professional Oti Mabuse.
She added: “I haven’t been watching it. I have to say, I haven’t.”
But if Shirley does tune in to watch the show, she will be able to judge Cheryl’s dance prowess herself, as the ‘Parachute’ hitmaker recently revealed that when the live shows kick off on February 2, she’ll be taking to the stage alongside her acts.
Cheryl said: “When we get to the live shows we’re going to be dancing. I just said it. We’re going to be dancing with our own contestants, so boom!”
It’s not just Shirley that wants to see Cheryl on ‘Strictly’ either, as ‘Greatest Dancer’ judge Oti recently called for the brunette beauty to compete in the show.
She said: “I would love to see her try. I think if she did ‘Strictly’, people would love her and see another side that they haven’t seen yet. She would be brilliant.”

EastEnders’ Kat Moon set for a new direction

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘EastEnders’ boss Kate Oates wants to explore new “dynamics” with Kat Moon.
The senior executive producer is keen to see a new side to the mouthy cleaner – who is played by Jessie Wallace – but hasn’t ruled out a future for Kat and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who is to go missing this week.
Kate said: “I’m excited about moving Kat on with refreshing dynamics. I feel that is really important.
“But with Kat and Alfie they will always have that [bond] and if you wanted to bring it back to that you absolutely could.
“I’m also interested in refreshing it and doing different things. I’ll go with anything.”
Kate admits she would love to work with Shane again after he “did really well” with his Christmas comeback storyline, which saw him pushed down the stairs on Christmas Day (25.12.18) and left for dead in the Slaters’ house only for him to leave when nobody was looking, taking baby Cherry with him.
She added to Express.co.uk: “Shane has created such an icon in Alfie that you never know.
“You don’t come back at Christmas for nothing, he did really well with that.
“I would work with Shane again, he’s Alfie, he’s awesome. At the moment his storyline, he’s got a good one.”
Prior to the festive plot, Jessie admitted she was thrilled to hear heartbreak was in store for Kat, because she likes to get her teeth stuck into meaty storylines.
She said: “Oh I thought ‘this is brilliant’. Getting your teeth into something like this, the meaty side of it all is brilliant; the script, the directing, the writing – I was in my element.
“I just thought thank you! Thank you.”

Kate Hudson’s genderless approach to parenting

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson plans to take a “genderless” approach to raising her daughter.
The ‘Almost Famous’ actress and her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa welcomed Rani Rose into the world in October and though the 39-year-old star – who also has sons Ryder, 15, with ex-husband Chris Robinson and Bingham, seven, with former fiance Matt Bellamy – explained having a girl hasn’t changed her “approach” to parenting, she looks at them all as individuals.
She said: “It doesn’t really change my approach, but there’s definitely a difference.
“I think you just raise your kids individually, regardless – like, a genderless [approach].
“We still don’t know what she’s going to identify as.”
However, Kate admitted her youngest child is already “incredibly feminine” and she loves buying new outfits for the tot.
She told AOL: “She is incredibly feminine in her energy, her sounds and her way. It’s very different from the boys.
“It’s really fun to actually want to buy kids’ clothes. With the boys it was just, like, onesies. … But with her it’s a whole other ball game.
“There’s some stuff that I’m like, ‘I can’t do that to her, because it’s so over-the-top.’ ”
The ‘Bride Wars’ star’s own upbringing taught her that gender roles don’t have to be limited and she credits being raised with brothers for having a “thick skin” because they always made fun of her.
She said: “I was a tomboy in a spinning dress. My middle brother [Boston Russell], who is closest to me in age, was basically my sister because I put make-up on him all the time, and I’d dress him up and he loved it.
“But growing up as a girl with all boys, you end up with a thick skin. You really do.
“People say, ‘Oh, your brothers must’ve really protected you.’ And I’m like, ‘They threw me right into the fire!’ ”

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper among SAG Award presenters

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will be among the presenters at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.
The ‘A Star is Born’ actors, along with their co-star Sam Elliott, are among 15 big names that will be taking to the stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the ceremony on Sunday (27.01.19),
It is traditional for cast members to introduce clips from the films that are nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture trophy, which this year as well as ‘A Star is Born’ also features ‘BlacKkKlandsman’, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Crazy Rich Asians’.
Representing ‘BlacKkKlansman’ will be Adam Driver and John David Washington, while Chadwick Boseman and Angela Bassett will introduce their film ‘Black Panther’.
Rami Malek will be joined by Ben Hardy, Gwilym Lee and Joseph Mazzello to present ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ will be represented by Henry Golding, Ken Jeong, Constance Wu and Michelle Yeoh.
It was previously revealed that Tom Hanks will be handing the SAG Life Achievement Award to Alan Alda, and further presenters – including the ones to reveal individual category winners for both film and television – will be announced over the coming days.
The 25th annual SAG Awards will be hosted by ‘Will and Grace’ actress Megan Mullally.
The presenter announcement came not long after SAG-AFTRA blasted Oscars organisers and accused them of pressuring Academy members not to attend other awards ceremonies.
They said in a statement earlier this month: “SAG-AFTRA has fielded numerous requests to respond to assertions that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences exerts extraordinary and unwarranted pressure on talent to hold them from appearing at other award presentations.
“We have received multiple reports of these activities and have experienced firsthand the Academy’s graceless pressure tactics and attempts to control the awards show talent pipeline. Awards season is a very special time when actors and actresses are being appropriately celebrated and recognised for the outstanding quality of their work. We would expect the Academy to honour these goals…
“We call on the Academy to cease this inappropriate action.”

Carrie Underwood ‘overjoyed’ after giving birth to ‘miracle baby’ son

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are feeling “overjoyed” after welcoming their “miracle baby” boy into the world.
The 35-year-old country singer – who already has a three-year-old son called Isaiah with her spouse – revealed via social media that their son, Jacob Bryan Fisher, was born on Monday (21.01.19), and the couple are feeling “truly blessed” to have a “healthy” boy after going through the devastation of three miscarriages.
An insider told People: “They are just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby.
“It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn’t even know if they’d get to this point.
“They’re feeling truly blessed.”
After Carrie announced their baby joy, Mike took to Instagram to share a picture of him cradling his son and thanked God for giving them the “gift” of Jacob, whilst he admitted they didn’t think they’d ever be able to have another child after the ordeal they went through.
He captioned the sweet snap: “Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord! The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even more sweet.
“We didn’t know if Izzy would ever have another sibling but we learned through it all that God is in control and his timing is perfect.
“He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand. #grateful #miraclebaby (sic)”
Alongside a photograph of herself and her new baby, Carrie wrote on Twitter: “Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good (sic)”
The ‘Love Wins’ singer also shared some behind-the-scenes shots of baby Jacob with Mike and Isaiah.
Carrie endured three miscarriages during a two-year time period, and the singer previously admitted she was left feeling “angry” by the ordeal.
She explained: “I had always been afraid to be angry. Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t.
“I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. [But after the miscarriages,] I got mad. [I thought], ‘Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid?’ Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.”

Rachel Adedeji’s tough goodbye

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Adedeji has found it “hard” saying goodbye to her ‘Hollyoaks’ family.
The 27-year-old actress – who plays Lisa Loveday on the soap – is feeling “quite sad” after Jacqueline Boatswain, Karl Collins and Duayne Boachie bowed out of the show as her on-screen parents Simone and Louis and brother Zack earlier this week.
She said: “I’m quite sad, I’m not going to lie. It has been quite a hard thing to do – to say goodbye to them.”
Rachel joined the soap some time after her on-screen family as Lisa had been missing since childhood and the former ‘X Factor’ star will always be grateful to her former co-stars for “mentoring” her in the early days on set.
She added to Digital Spy: “When I first started ‘Hollyoaks’, they had already been there, so they took me under their wing and sort of mentored me.
“We’ve grown together as a family, so it’s been quite difficult.”
However, the actress – who took a break from the soap last year after she and husband Jason Finegan welcomed daughter Lillian, now 13 months, into the world – is pleased her friends have made the decisions they wanted to.
She added: “But equally, I am happy for them as I want them to continue doing what they love doing.”
Louis was shockingly killed off by ‘bad dad’ slayer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) – who has covered up his death by texting from his phone – after being kept hostage at her pig farm for weeks.
Simone decided to leave the village to explore her roots in Jamaica after being left heartbroken when Louis called and, forced by Breda, lied and said he wasn’t interested in trying to rebuild their marriage, while Zack made a spontaneous decision to fly to Paris after Holly Cunningham (Amanda Clapham) confessed her love for him.

Fleur East ‘hurt’ at missing out on X Factor during jungle stint

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East felt “hurt” when she couldn’t find out what was happening in ‘The X Factor’ during her time on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 31-year-old singer shot to fame as a contestant on the show in 2005, and she is still such a huge fan of the programme that she was devastated when she wasn’t able to keep track of who was doing well in last year’s series while she was in the Australian jungle.
She told TV podcast Series Linked: “I always follow these shows, because, I mean, ‘X Factor’, I was a huge fan of, obviously, before I even auditioned, so I feel obliged to watch it every year.
“I feel like I’m missing out, like it hurt me when I was in the jungle and I didn’t know who’d won or what was going on.”
Fleur is also a big supporter of fellow ITV singing show ‘The Voice’, so much so she gets sweaty palms on behalf of the contestants while she is watching the wannabes do their thing.
She added: “I’ve watched ‘The Voice’ since the start. I love the concept of ‘The Voice’. So, yeah, I’m always involved, always watching.
“It’s like sweaty palms watching it, every time. I get so nervous for the people, and I cry when they get through and I get really emotionally invested in it.
“It’s almost like it’s bittersweet when you’re in these competitions, because each stage you get so excited, but then, oh, back to square one again, then you’re going through another round, so it’s like an emotional rollercoaster the whole time, and I can’t help but watch it.
“When I see people get through the first round I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s great, but keep your feet on the ground, because you’ve got four more rounds to get through.’ ”
As a result of her ‘X Factor’ and ‘The Voice’ love, the ‘Sax’ hitmaker would love to be a judge or a coach on one of the shows, and believes she has plenty to offer wannabe singers.
She added: “I would like to be a judge. I think I’d really love doing that. I think, typically, I’ve always watched these shows and thought I’m not ready to be a judge, because I don’t feel like I’ve done enough in my career.
“But at the same time I’ve been through that, that format, so I’ve been through a contest and I’ve been grinding in the industry.
“I’ve been trying to make it, so I feel like I have a lot of advice that I can share with budding singers. So you never know.”
