OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton Hanson has hit out at “fools” who have slammed her following her break-up with Wes Nelson.
The ‘Love Island’ star revealed on Saturday (26.01.18) that she and her boyfriend – whom she met on the ITV2 reality show – have ended their relationship, and after being contacted on social media by trolls claiming ‘Dancing on Ice’ star Wes could “do so much better”, she has taken to her Instagram Story to lash out.
One user responded to her break-up announcement and wrote: “Lollll he can do so much better than a rude jealous insecure plastic slapped like you… go Wes and Vanessa!!!! (sic)”
And Megan took a screenshot of the response, posting back on her story with the caption: “Wow i can’t catch a break this week! Hospitalised, Burgled, Public breakup and now these fools (sic)”
Megan and Wes’ split came after the blonde beauty had previously lashed out at Wes’ ‘Dancing on Ice’ partner Vanessa Bauer, after she claimed the professional ice skater was trying to come between the couple when she split with her own boyfriend on the same day she was due to take to the ice with Wes.
Days after her outburst, Megan was forced to miss Wes’ live performance on the ITV ice dancing competition after she was hospitalised with a kidney infection.
In her break-up statement, Megan wrote: “I am so grateful and so blessed to have found Wes, I will always love and adore him and I am so lucky to call him my best friend. It has been an incredibly hard decision to make for both of us but we are looking forward to moving on together as friends and supporting each other in everything we do.
“I will be down at Dancing On Ice tomorrow to watch him smash it again. Only one thing left to say, come on Wes and Vanessa!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Debbie McGee is “open to finding love again” following her breast cancer scare.
The 60-year-old star hasn’t been in a relationship since her late husband and magician Paul Daniels passed away in 2016, but has said her recent breast cancer scare – in which doctors had to remove two tumours from her left breast before thankfully giving her the all-clear – has made her consider “meeting someone else”.
She said: “I feel like I’m the luckiest person in the world. It’s made me think even more to make the most of today and I would say I’m open to finding love again. It’s the same with my career. I let things happen and that’s what I think about meeting someone else.
“If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. But how wonderful if it did.”
Debbie – who was her husband Paul’s assistant – even says her late spouse told her to find love again, before he passed away just one month after learning he had an incurable brain tumour.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star added: “He would want me to find love again, yeah. With him being so much older than me, we did talk about that.
“We used to joke because I had a great-uncle who married someone much younger than him – then she died of a brain haemorrhage suddenly before him, when she was quite young.
“So I always joked with Paul that could happen to me, or I could get run over by a car or something. And he said, ‘Yes, but the statistics are that it’s bound to be me first’.
“He always used to say, ‘But I know you’ll cope’. And he said, ‘I hope you do meet somebody else. I don’t want you to be on your own for the rest of your life’. He always said, ‘I know you’ll cope.’ ”
And although Debbie has been pictured with “mystery men”, she insists she hasn’t been on any dates since Paul passed away.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, she said: “I’ve got male friends I’ve been to dinner with but I haven’t ­actually been on any dates.
“I haven’t had many offers because I think people have respect for you. Well, they certainly seem to with me! People are just lovely to me. I just always feel like I’m the luckiest person in the world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Diane Kruger has a “fear” of being “tied down”.
The ‘In the Fade’ actress – who has a two-month-old daughter with partner Norman Reedus – feels “anxious” if she doesn’t have stability in her life, but she also values her “personal freedom” and ability to change things if she’s unhappy.
She said: “I’ve always had a strong sense of personal freedom, you shouldn’t be afraid to change things if you’re not happy.
“I’ve moved around a lot and sometimes feel unsettled, it is important for me to have some stability and structure or I become anxious.
“But I also have a fear of being tied down.”
The 42-year-old star thinks her career has helped bring her out of her shell because she’s quite introverted in her everyday life.
She told Psychologies magazine: “I have a quiet side and I’m kind of wary with people I don’t know.
“That’s maybe why I love acting – because I become more extroverted when I’m working in the closed environment of a film set, and I get to throw myself into a character.
“I’ve always found so much satisfaction from being able to express myself through different characters and personalities – it opens me up.”
Diane often reassesses her career and her goal and often wonders whether she should move in a different direction.
She said: “I think we find ourselves questioning our lives and careers and whether it’s still possible to head in a new direction. As I get older, I wonder about those issues more often.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne thinks she might have Tourette syndrome.
The 66-year-old television host is known for not holding back when it comes to her explosive rants, but she’s now claimed her comments could be blamed on Tourette’s – a neurological disorder characterised by repetitive, involuntary movements and vocalisations called tics.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, she said: “I unfortunately react in the moment and I do try to take a deep breath, count to 10, but I never can quite do that successfully. A little thing will fly out of my mouth and I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I think before I did that? Why did I do that?’
“I should bite myself or something. Sometimes I think I have Tourette’s without too much swearing. I do.”
Tourette’s sufferers can suffer from a range of tics, including physical ones such as eye rolling and shoulder shrugging, or vocal ones like tongue clicking, whistling, grunting, or even swearing.
However, according to the NHS, swearing is rare and affects only about one in 10 people with the disorder.
Sharon’s claims come after she launched a foul mouthed rant against ‘X Factor’ boss Simon Cowell last year, and branded the show – on which she was previously a judge – as “f***ing karaoke.”
Speaking on ‘The Howard Stern Show’, Sharon called the 58-year-old music mogul a “f***ing pain in the arse” who “will do whatever” to get his “f***ing fat face on TV.”
Asked who she would save if they were on a sinking ship, Sharon joked: “We would put a f***ing brick around his neck and throw him over. I will drown you mother f***er. Absolutely … he’s gone.”
She then added about ‘The X Factor’ contestants: “Oh f**k, I don’t have to have those kids singing in my face. Those little s**ts. They all suck. It is like, ‘Hey, is this f***ing karaoke or what?’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale has been hospitalised after suffering a ruptured ovarian cyst.
The 45-year-old actress took to Instagram on Saturday (26.01.19) night to post a picture of herself from her hospital bed, where she revealed she was in pain from the injury – in which a cyst inside the ovaries becomes so large it presses against nerves and eventually ruptures – and said being on morphine to ease the pain had caused her to cry.
Alongside the picture, Kate wrote: “Turns out a ruptured ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. So thankful to everyone who looked after me #wobbly (sic)”
Kate – who has 19-year-old daughter Lily with her former partner Michael Sheen – didn’t give any further details on her condition, but surgery on a ruptured ovarian cyst is only carried out in severe cases, and most cysts are simply treated with pain medicines, such as the morphine Kate is receiving.
Meanwhile, the ‘Underworld’ star recently revealed she would be open to having another child, but isn’t sure she wants to get “annihilated” again after spending her 20s caring for her daughter Lily.
She said: “I definitely would, but then I think ‘Oh God, I annihilated my twenties and I suddenly get a taste of freedom and annihilate myself again?’ But I am open to seeing what happens …”
The actress was married to Len Wiseman from 2004 to 2016, but insisted that following their divorce, she hasn’t felt the need to rush towards the next chapter in her life.
Instead, the ‘Total Recall’ actress says she’s currently “quite happy” with where she finds herself and with the freedoms that come with it.
Kate said: “When you get divorced, everybody waits to see where you land. But I might not land anywhere for a bit.
“I’m really quite happy: it’s quite nice to have a bit of Virginia Woolf time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mollie King insists there was “no drama” in her split from Stuart Broad.
The former Saturdays singer recently split from the English cricketer after a whirlwind romance which lasted just five months, but Mollie says there’s no scandalous reason behind their break-up, as they were simply just too busy to make enough time for one another.
She said: “There’s no drama. He’s a lovely guy but our schedules made it hard to see each other.”
Previously, the 31-year-old singer and radio presenter had an on-off romance with model David Gandy – who is now married and has a baby daughter who was born last November – for five years until they officially called it quits in 2016, and Mollie says they’re no longer in touch.
She added: “David and I are quite different people. You can really love somebody but still have it not work. I give a relationship everything. I don’t want to look back in a year and ask, ‘Should we have had one more try?’ We’re not in touch. It was so, so long ago. A different lifetime.”
And while she’s currently single, Mollie – who now presents the BBC Radio 1 Weekend Breakfast Show with Matt Edmondson – has also ruled out a romance with her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner AJ Pritchard, whom she was heavily linked to during her time on the show in 2017.
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, she said: “Because we were both single, people assumed there would be a romance. He was brilliant with me because my confidence was so low. He helped me get back on my feet. But more than that? No.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nitin Ganatra has quit ‘EastEnders’.
The 51-year-old actor has starred as Masood Ahmed in the BBC soap since 2007, and although he previously left in 2016 before returning for a one-off appearance in 2017, and returning permanently in 2018, it has now been revealed he will one again be leaving Albert Square.
In a statement, Nitin said: “When I was asked to return to ‘EastEnders’, it was always with the intention of helping set up new Asian characters that continue the Masood family adventures. With Arshad and Mariam at the helm and with the arrival of the feisty sister Iqra and Habiba, I can now venture off to new horizons as an actor.
“I am still deeply attached to Masood and have invested much emotion into making this character memorable. I am in awe of how loved he is by audiences and fans of all ages, from all cultures and religions and walks of life. Thank you. I am humbled by the love.
“I will of course miss ‘EastEnders’ and the wonderful people that work tirelessly to bring audiences dramatic, funny and compelling stories.Who knows Masood may return. But for now farewell. Much love and respect to the whole epic team of ‘EastEnders’.”
And an ‘EastEnders’ spokesperson later confirmed the news, adding: “Nitin has been a wonderful addition to the cast and we wish him all the very best for the future.”
Nitin’s exit scenes are set to air next month, but it’s unknown as of the time of writing how his character will leave Walford.
Meanwhile, Masood’s aunt and uncle, Mariam and Arshad, are set to be joined by their granddaughters Iqra and Habiba soon.
Speaking about the sisters’ arrival, boss Kate Oates said: “The sisters are certainly going to be a force to be reckoned with. Their arrival will throw number 41 into chaos as they become a nightmare for Mariam and Arshad. Residents of Walford beware, take on one of the sisters and you take on the pair.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Philip has written a letter of apology to the woman who broke her wrist in his car crash last week.
The 97-year-old royal has told Emma Fairweather he is “deeply sorry” after his Land Rover crashed into a Kia she was travelling in last week, causing her to suffer a broken wrist.
In a letter obtained by the Sunday Mirror newspaper, Philip wrote: “I would like you to know how very sorry I am for my part in the accident at the Babingley cross-roads.”
Philip – who is the husband of Queen Elizabeth II – then went on to explain that the bright sunlight made it difficult for him to see her car, and insisted that under “normal conditions” the accident wouldn’t have happened.
He continued: “I have been across that crossing any number of times and I know very well the amount of traffic that uses that main road. It was a bright sunny day and about three in the afternoon, the sun was low over the Wash. In other words, the sun was shining low over the main road. In normal conditions I would have no difficulty in seeing traffic coming from the Dersingham direction, but I can only imagine that I failed to see the car coming, and I am very contrite about the consequences.”
The royal says he was “somewhat shaken” following the crash, which caused his Land Rover to flip onto its side, and apologised for the injury Emma had suffered.
He wrote: “I was somewhat shaken after the accident, but I was greatly relieved that none of you were seriously injured. As a crowd was beginning to gather, I was advised to return to Sandringham House by a local Police Officer. I have since learned that you suffered a broken arm. I am deeply sorry about this injury.
“I wish you a speedy recovery from a very distressing experience.”
Emma – who was in the car with her friend Ellie Townsend and Ellie’s nine-month-old son – says she “appreciates” the apology.
She said: “He’s tried to give an explanation so I appreciate that, whether I agree with it or not. It is a difficult letter to write – to know what would be the right thing to say without making me more upset.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Boy George believes modern culture lacks “original thought”.
The 57-year-old singer – who found global fame in the 1980s as part of Culture Club – has hit out at popular culture, saying it’s “on a loop” and that it lacks originality.
He explained: “I feel like modern culture is on a loop.
“Every time I come out to promote something I’m answering the same questions over and over. I’m fascinated by how little original thought there is in the world.”
The pop star – whose real name is George O’Dowd – also ridiculed the narcissism of the social media generation.
George claimed that young people have become overly concerned about their appearance, adding that pop culture has become “insane”.
He told the BBC: “Everyone’s looking in the mirror.
“Boys in their underwear, girls pouting, people with surgery faces. They’re all promoting themselves. Pop culture is insane right now.”
As a teenager, George used to worry about people liking him and earning the approval of others.
However, the ‘Karma Chameleon’ hitmaker explained that over the last decade, he’s stopped being concerned with “seeking approval”.
He said: “When I was 19, I wanted everyone to like me, because fame is about seeking approval, and that means you’re always at the mercy of what people think.
“I used to get really upset about negative comments or judgements, to the point where I’d ring people up or write them a letter, or even send them a fax, to set the record straight.
“But I think I’ve learned in the last 10 years to protect myself a bit more from my own reactions. Having the last word isn’t necessarily such a great thing.”

The 33-year-old model – who has kids Luna, two, and eight-month-old Miles with her husband John Legend – made the quip via her Twitter account, saying she wishes “a really long back” was considered an attractive feature.
Chrissy – who has previously starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “gonna start a support group for little booties. why isn’t it hot to have…a really long back? “oh girl your back so longggg”

Earlier this month, meanwhile, Chrissy claimed that her daughter Luna has helped to boost her self-confidence.
The model said that whilst she’s quite “introverted” in real life, her daughter brings out the “goofy” side of her personality.
She said: “It sounds weird to say, but I really am an introvert. Luna’s just two and a half now, and bringing out so much of my personality that I was too anxious to share in the outside world before, so I get to be goofy; I get to be silly.
“We are all very much homebodies. I’m not the type to meet a friend for lunch; I’m only comfortable in my home.”
Chrissy also revealed how the food she eats can sway her mood.
She shared: “I think now I understand that food is so emotional for me, so I need to realise that if I put good things in my body, I’m probably going to have a better day the next day.
“Working out, to me, has never been about losing weight, it’s always been a mood thing, and it always, always helps my mood, so to be able to get back in that routine would be great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway feels “very lucky” to have filmed ‘Serenity’ in Mauritius.
The Oscar-winning actress was initially set to film the new Steven Knight-directed drama movie in the Bahamas, but on reflection, she’s delighted that they instead decided to relocate the shoot to the island nation in the Indian Ocean.
She explained: “We were going to film in the Bahamas up until a couple months before.
“All of a sudden we just got a call from Steven saying, ‘I found a place that is everything I dreamed up and more.’ It was Mauritius and you have the sea and you have the sugarcane and you have cliffs. And then you have these incredible people.”
Anne, 36 – who stars alongside Matthew McConaughey in the new movie – was blown away by what she witnessed during the shoot.
She told Den of Geek: “Now in Mauritius you’ll have a Hindu temple across from a mosque across from a church, on a very small island.
“Conventional thinking would say that they would be at each other’s throats all the time but the attitude of Mauritius is ‘celebrate each other. Celebrate each other’s differences’.
“So to be on this place that is so gorgeous, where it rains every day so there’s a million rainbows every day, and to be dealing with an energy level of people whose national currency is tolerance, it was an incredible experience. We felt very lucky to be there.”
Meanwhile, Anne recently claimed she “felt funnier” as a blonde in ‘Serenity’.
The actress said she felt like she could tell better jokes thanks to her dyed hair.
Anne explained: “I felt funnier! I don’t know why, but I just felt that I could be funnier while saying less.
“I know that doesn’t make any sense, but it was just – it’s nice. And it also made me want to do it more in life, like, just mess around with [my hair] and not get too fixed on anything.”

The 29-year-old actor and Miley, 26, tied the knot at their home in Franklin, Tennessee, in December, and Liam has revealed he is relishing his life with the pop star.
He confessed: “It’s wonderful! I’m loving it!”
Liam said that even though he doesn’t feel like married life has changed their relationship too much, he’s aware that tying the knot represents a huge commitment.
He shared: “It doesn’t feel like a lot’s changed, but on the other hand it has!”
Liam and Miley first met in 2009, on the set of the romantic drama movie ‘The Last Song’, before they split in 2013.
And the Hollywood star – who reconciled with Miley in 2016 – has revealed that their wedding day was an unforgettable occasion for the pair of them.
He recalled: “It was a really nice, beautiful day with our immediate family and a couple of close friends. It’s wonderful, we’ve been together for the better part of ten years.”
Liam made the comments shortly after a source claimed that Miley “wants to have a family” with her new husband.
The loved-up couple are apparently keen to take their relationship to the next level by starting a family together, with the insider explaining that they “couldn’t be happier” with where their lives are right now.
The source said: “Miley is not pregnant currently but does want to have a family with Liam.
“Miley and Liam say they felt married before their actual ceremony. Miley is so happy with her life right now. She’s finishing up recording her next album and she and Liam couldn’t be happier.”

The 39-year-old rap star – who claims he previously had sexual relations with Kim Kardashian West, Kylie’s half-sister – has revealed in a new track that he used to make “frosted flakes” for the make-up mogul.
A clip of the same song – which has been leaked by DJ Akademiks – sees The Game rapping: “Her sister made a billion in makeup / I used to make her frosted flakes when she wakes up.”
The Game also offered an apology to Kanye West, Kim’s husband, on the same track, after claiming to have had sex with the brunette beauty.
The rapper describes his supposed sexual encounter with Kim in graphic detail, before adding: “I should apologise cause Ye my folks, n*****. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Kylie said in 2018 that she’d never previously eaten her cereal with milk.
The 21-year-old businesswoman – who stars on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alongside Kim – claimed that the experience was “life changing”.
Kylie tweeted: “Last night i had cereal with milk for the first time. life changing. i always liked cereal dry i never bothered to put milk. (sic)”
Later, Kylie took to her Snapchat account to explain why she’d previously resisted the temptation to eat her cereal with milk.
She said: “I think people were a little confused when I tweeted that last night was the first time that I ever tried milk with my cereal.
“That is a fact. Everyone has their personal preference, I never preferred soggy cereal. I just really enjoyed my dry, crunchy cereal, and I know there are other people out there that agreed with me.
“So I think just as a young child, always eating dry cereal and never wanting to sog up my cereal, I’ve just got used to it where I never wanted to do it until last night until Jordyn [Woods, her best friend] said I want some cereal and milk and I was like: ‘You know, tonight’s the night and I’m going to try it.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper joined Lady Gaga on stage during the latest show of her Las Vegas residency on Saturday night (26.01.19).
The 44-year-old actor – who starred alongside Gaga in the critically acclaimed movie ‘A Star Is Born’ – joined the chart-topping singer on stage for her show in Sin City, where they performed a rendition of the song ‘Shallow’, which features in the film.
Gaga, 32 – who played a young singer in ‘A Star Is Born’ – is currently in the midst of a residency at the MGM Park Theater, where she started her run of shows in December.
The singer has repeatedly praised Bradley’s directing abilities since the movie’s release in 2018.
She recalled: “We’re having this extremely emotional, awful conversation with each other and – at the same time – you have to completely trust your director.
“In a moment where I’m almost untrusting of him and angry with him and insulted by him, I’m also, in the back of my mind, in the space of comfort, in the space of love.
“What was very special about that scene, for me anyways, was the themes of alcoholism and the theme of co-dependency and addiction – that is something that has affected me in my life. To share that with him was very, very special to me. He really honoured that.”
Meanwhile, Bradley recently admitted he feared his directorial debut would “fail miserably”.
He said: “I was just hoping that I wouldn’t fail miserably.
“It’s vulnerable, you know, writing, co-writing, telling a story and directing it. I mean I had no idea what was going to happen. I just knew that I had to try. So, the fact that it has been well received, I just wanna savour it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Octavia Spencer says LeBron James is responsible for her getting pay parity for ‘Madam C.J. Walker’.
The 46-year-old actress has revealed that the LA Lakers basketball star helped her to earn what she deserved for starring in the Netflix series, which tells the story of America’s first black self-made millionaire.
Octavia shared: “I have to say, when I was negotiating my deal for ‘Madam C.J.’, LeBron James had to intervene. So we need all our male counterparts to be in the fight with us.”
LeBron, 34, served as an executive producer on the project.
And Octavia feels it’s importance to be open and honest about pay in order to address the current imbalance between male and female stars.
She told IndieWire: “I think my goal is to make sure that all women of colour get equal pay, and all women get equal pay.
“The only way to do it is to have these conversations, to talk numbers with your co-stars.”
In 2018, Octavia teamed up with Jessica Chastain to call for equal pay on an unnamed Netflix project.
But the Oscar-winning star feels more needs to be done in order to tackle the problem.
She said: “Jessica and I stood together, and that was interesting that she would take that position – well, I mean, she is Jessica Chastain – but we also need advocates and allies in negotiating.”
Meanwhile, Jessica previously insisted she “isn’t afraid” to speak out against gender inequality.
She said: “It’s important to speak out and amplify our imbalance in the movie-making industry. I have experienced no backlash from anyone since making my views public.
“I certainly wasn’t afraid to do it. Glad I did it. It’s taken a long time to get this far, and I’m out front for those who cannot speak out. We must turn this around.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Didi Conn has been eliminated from ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 67-year-old actress has become the third contestant to leave this year’s show after losing in the dreaded skate-off against Saara Aalto.
Following her exit, Didi – who is best-known for playing Frenchie in ‘Grease’ – told her dance partner Łukasz Rozycki: “I have enjoyed my partner, the best in the world. And he’s a good cook, too.”
All four judges voted in favour of keeping Saara on ‘Dancing on Ice’, with Jason Gardiner saying that Didi’s exit meant the programme was losing a little bit of its “heart”.
Didi also revealed she plans to continue skating, even though she’s been eliminated from the ITV show.
Asked whether she’ll take to the ice in the future, Didi explained: “Oh sure, I have to come back at the end, right?”
Earlier in the show, Gemma Collins suffered a painful-looking fall during the final moments of her routine.
The outspoken star had to fight back tears as she listened to the review of her performance by the ‘Dancing on Ice’ judges.
Despite her embarrassing tumble, head judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean praised Gemma for the improvements she’s made over the last week.
And Jason – who was involved in an on-air argument with Gemma last week – also praised her performance.
He said: “When you come in and apply yourself, and when you drop The GC you improve and you did.”
