John Mayer’s Instagram live show will combat loneliness

OHMYGOSSIP — John Mayer hopes his Instagram live show will combat his “loneliness”.
The ‘Free Fallin’ hitmaker has launched his ‘Current Mood with John Mayer’ series, which sees him joined by guests, play music and make jokes during a 45 minute programme recorded live on Instagram and hopes it will help him and his fans to “fight” their loneliness.
Explaining the idea behind it, he said: “The show started as a way to fight my own loneliness, and maybe help some other people fight theirs.”
John – who announced a second season of ‘Current Mood with John Mayer’ – had previously revealed that he chose to do the show “to bring people back to a more human tradition of hearing someone talk”.
He said: “Part of me wanting to do this show is to bring people back to a more human tradition of hearing someone talk, believing what they’re saying, being put at ease, made to feel okay. So set aside some time to be truthful and kind. The world around you is beautiful. The world that is downloaded from the big mother brain in the sky as contributed by millions of people … that’s tiring. We all have to live in there, but let’s live outside the Matrix as well.”
Meanwhile, John previously revealed he expected too much of himself.
He said: “The reason I’m so happy now is because a lot of expectation that I had for myself was probably a little bit unnecessary. I have a perfect image of ambition and reward for my life right now. I know what to expect, I know how much I should be asking for when I knock on the door, and I get it.
“I really write down on a piece of paper what I want out of life and what I want out of work and what I want out of “fame” – and I have all the stuff I want. And, yeah, I would probably like another 10, 15, 20%, but that comes with another 85% of headache. That’s the truth. It would take another 85% of my happiness to get another 15% to 20% famous and, like, culturally relevant or whatever. You know?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Schumer was gifted a “horrifyingly” graphic cake for her baby shower.
The ‘Trainwreck’ star – who is expecting her first child with her husband Chris Fischer – was shocked when she was given the sweet treat by her sister-in-law Molly, which featured a graphic depiction of childbirth, complete with the head of a Cabbage Patch doll.
She wrote on Instagram: “My sister in law. And I can’t stress that enough IN LAW. surprised me with a horrifying cake and i can’t thank her enough. So I won’t thank her at all. @mofischhh something is truly wrong with you and i love you. #haunting (sic)”
Meanwhile, Amy previously admitted she is finding pregnancy “tough”.
She shared a photo of her dog on Instagram and wrote: “The last few days have been tough. I’m grateful as hell and know it’s temporary but tough just the same. Please if you don’t mind. Post pics of your kids and tag me #amyschumer. My friends sending me pics and vids of their kids is making me feel so much better. Much love accepting dog photos too. (sic)”
Amy had to cancel some shows back in November as she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a form of extreme morning sickness.
She wrote: “Texas I am so deeply sorry. I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls**t!
“Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell! And Texas I am really really sorry and I’ll be out there as soon as I’m better. (sic)”

Blac Chyna: Rob Kardashian is just jealous

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna claims Rob Kardashian is jealous of her relationship with Kid Buu.
The 30-year-old model is reportedly fuming at her ex-partner after he complained that he could not get hold of her to drop off Dream over the weekend after she chose to head to Honolulu, Hawaii for a couple of days.
However, Chyna claims Rob is just jealous of her new romance, TMZ reports.
Rob was said to be “mad” after Chyna jetted off to Hawaii whilst she was meant to have custody of their daughter Dream.
A source said: “Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in LA while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer. Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about. She needs to tell him when she won’t be in LA so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”
However, Chyna’s holiday with Kid Buu didn’t go to plan as police and paramedics had to be called to her hotel room after she got into a fight with her boyfriend.
Sources say that Chyna scratched Kid Buu, and he is alleged to have then slammed her against a wall several times and choked her, prompting someone to call for emergency services. No one seemed to be seriously hurt.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed an incident is currently under investigation, adding in a statement: “Shortly before 9 a.m. today, a female visitor staying in Waikiki reported being assaulted by a male acquaintance.
“The victim reported that she and the suspect had been involved in an argument several hours earlier, and the argument had escalated to a physical confrontation. The male left the area after the confrontation and has not been located. This incident has been classified as abuse of a household member. The investigation is continuing, and no further information is being released at this time.”

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrate two month anniversary

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their two-month anniversary with friends and family over the weekend.
The couple marked eight weeks since their wedding with a gathering in Belmont, North Carolina on Sunday (27.01.19).
And Nick’s brother Joe made an appearance too as his band DNCE headlined the event.
Priyanka had previously admitted their wedding was “all tears” and very emotional.
She said: “It was all tears. All tears. I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”
Whilst Nick added: “The emotions were running high during the ceremonies, I think especially during the Western wedding for me. You know you think your whole life about that moment. Honestly, I could not have imagined it would be as perfect as it was. It was highly emotional.”
And the 36-year-old actress previously admitted it “melted [her] heart” when Nick suggested two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds.
She explained: “Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be. It melted my heart. Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.
“I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up. We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalised them in a way that made sense for us. It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”

James Moore ‘hadn’t really watched’ Emmerdale before landing role

OHMYGOSSIP — James Moore didn’t used to watch ‘Emmerdale’ before joining the soap.
The 26-year-old star admits it was “pretty scary” trying out for the role of Ryan Stocks – the son of Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) – on the soap, and he hadn’t realised what the “implications” of joining one of the show’s biggest fictional families would be.
He said: “The first audition was pretty scary.
“I don’t think I realised the implications when I first started because I hadn’t really watched ‘Emmerdale’ when I first came into it.”
James – who suffers from ataxic cerebral palsy – admits he initially didn’t go to drama school because he felt there were too many “barriers” for disabled people trying to break into the industry, and “never thought” he would land a part on the ITV soap.
He said: “I would like to get into a situation where we are putting more disabled people in the industry, casting them in more roles. Because there aren’t a lot out there in my own work.
“I’ve always been aware there are a lot of barriers. That’s why I didn’t go to drama school the first time.
“It’s fascinating to see how more open we’re getting in the modern day. I felt now would be a good time to throw what I’ve got into the fray and see what happens.
“I never thought I’d be getting a role on ‘Emmerdale’.”
James scooped the Newcomer gong at last week’s National Television Awards (NTAs), and he still cannot remember what happened 15 minutes after he was presented with the prize because it was such a “blur”.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, he added: “It still doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t feel real that I’m talking to you, it doesn’t feel real that I won at the NTAs.
“The 15 minutes after winning the award was just a blur. I cannot remember any of it.
“To have that recognition and appreciation so early on in my career means the world to me. It’s incredible.”

Dermot O’Leary commemorated Big Brother end at ‘impromptu wrap party’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dermot O’Leary commemorated the end of ‘Big Brother’ at an “impromptu wrap party” alongside crew members and former housemates.
The 45-year-old TV presenter hosted the programme’s spin-off series ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ from 2001 to 2008, but had “mixed feelings” about the long-running reality show coming to an end on Channel 5 last year.
And while Dermot was pleased to see some former housemates he’d forgotten about, including teddy bear-carrying Jonty Stern, at the event, he admits it also felt like “a wake” because so many people had lost their jobs.
When asked how he feels about the show ending, he told this week’s Series Linked TV Podcast: “I don’t know. I guess I’ve got mixed feelings about it. We had this incredible, impromptu wrap party that wasn’t really a wrap party.
“It was organised by people that used to work on the show the day after the last series finished.
“This email went out, and it went out over Facebook and I’m not on Facebook, so I got told about it second hand through mates that used to work on the show and said, ‘You coming down for it?’
“I thought, ‘I’ll pop down for a drink,’ and a lot of people didn’t go, because they thought it might be a bit too weird, and it was weird, but it was the nicest weird.
“It was people you haven’t seen for 10 years just turning round going, ‘Oh, my God, you look … Hey, how’s it going?’
“It was so lovely to see old colleagues and friends and some old housemates, who I genuinely haven’t even thought about for 10 years.
“You remember the guy who was quite public schoolboy, used to have a teddy, and he came in, I think, halfway through one of the series? Jonty, I think his name was.
“I literally was in the queue to get my coat or put my coat in, and I turned around and he was there, with his bear, and I turned around and went, ‘Hey, Jonty.’
“His name hasn’t been in my head for 10 years. How in the world I remembered that, I’m not entirely sure, but he was with Eugene. Remember, the guy who was a massive ‘Big Brother’ fan?”
While Dermot – who will host new game show ‘Small Fortune’ on Saturday (02.02.19) – admits it was a “really odd night” at the wrap party, he has great memories of the seven years he hosted the spin-off show.
He said: “It was a really odd night, because it was full of wonderful nostalgia and genuine love for a show that a lot of us have cut our teeth on and made our names on.
“Yet, there was a huge proportion of people that were there who are just thinking, ‘I lost my job today, so this is kind of a wake as well.’
“That kind of, for me, summed up how I felt about the whole show finishing, it’s mixed, I suppose, but seven of the best years of my life on that show. I absolutely loved it.”

Frank Zappa hologram tour headed to the UK

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa’ hologram tour is set to makes its debut in the UK.
The Zappa Family Trust , which was setup after the death of the ‘Cheap Thrills’ singer – who died from prostate cancer at the age of 52 in 1993 – and his son Ahmet Zappa, 44, first announced that they were working on putting together a series of shows featuring the American composer and filmmaker two years ago.
The estate has teamed up with the hologram production company Eyellusion to create a virtual likeness of the star, who was renowned for his free-form improvisation, sound experiments and political satire, to tour, wit shows in Edinburgh, Gateshead, Manchester, Birmingham and London between May 9 and May 14.
The performance will feature “hours of never-before-seen Zappa performance footage from the early 70s”, and will see a touring line-up comprised of Zappa’s long-term bandmates: Ray White, Mike Keneally, Scott Thunes, Robert Martin, Ed Mann and Joe ‘Vaultmeister’ Travers.
Ahmet said: “As a futurist and hologram enthusiast, Frank fearlessly broke through boundary after boundary as an artist and in honouring his indomitable spirit, we’re about to do it again, 25 years after his passing.
“This mind-melting show we’re putting together celebrates the music, often surreal imagery and humour synonymous with Frank.
“We will be pushing the limits of what anyone has seen holographically on stage before in a live venue.
“This is a love letter and a journey celebrating the genius artistry of Frank Zappa
He also teased that: “Circumstances, objects, places and subject matter from Frank’s songs and imagination will be brought to life for the first time on stage.”
The show will feature many of the creative’s hand drawn art and the characters from his songs.
He continued: “We are anthropomorphising Frank’s music, so his own hand drawn illustrations, classic imagery from his album artwork and characters from his songs can all interact and perform on stage.”
Many late music stars have been immortalised with their own hologram tours over the years, including Tupac Shakur, Roy Orbison, Michael Jackson and most recently an Amy Winehouse show was announced for 2019.
Not everyone is a fan of the concept, but Ahmet has stated that his father “actively discussed” the art of holography with him, and he even wrote about it in his tome ‘The Real Frank Zappa Book’, so it’s something he would more than approve of.
He explained: “My father and I actively discussed 3D and ‘holography’ and it was a concept he actively engaged in. He actually devoted half a chapter of his ‘The Real Frank Zappa Book’ to this subject.
“This is a love letter and a journey celebrating the genius artistry of Frank Zappa.”
He added: “On a personal note, I feel like I am finishing something my father started years ago – and let’s not forget, Frank himself will be rocking his fans, alongside his bandmates like nobody’s business.”
Tickets are on sale now.
‘The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa’ tour dates are as follows:
May 9, Edinburgh Playhouse,
May 11, Gateshead Sage
May 12, Manchester, Bridgewater Hall
May 13, Birmingham, Symphony Hall
May 14, London, The Palladium

Future admits he has retail addiction

OHMYGOSSIP — Future is “crazy” because he shops for clothes “every day”.
The 35-year-old rapper – who has four children from previous relationships and welcomed his and Joie Chavis’ son Hendrix into the world last month – thinks he needs to “stop” splurging because he currently splashes out up to $300,000 on kitting out his own and his kids’ wardrobes.
Speaking on Complex magazine’s YouTube feature, ‘Future Goes Sneaker Shopping With Complex’, he said: “When I get started, I don’t stop.
“I be buying my little girl 10, 20 pairs of Chanel and she ain’t nothing but nine years old. She got more bags than grown ladies. No cap.
“I shop every day. I probably spend two to three hundred thousand dollars on clothes a month. It’s crazy — I gotta stop.”
‘The Wizrd’ hitmaker also confessed that he has always loved fashion since he was a child and enjoyed playing around with his wardrobe to get bold looks that make him “stand out”.
He added: “From the beginning I always wore different kind of trainers and different kind of shoes. I’ve always been in to fashion, so I pretty much never switched off.
“From the beginning it was always about standing out, just being around my uncles and just being where I’m from, standing out was good, it ain’t always good to blend in.
“I have so many clothes you can just go in my closet and pick out what you want, if you can fit it, you can get it.”

Michael Kors inspired by Bella Hadid’s ‘casual glamour’

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Kors’ latest campaign is inspired by Bella Hadid’s “casual glamour”.
The 59-year-old designer’s new spring campaign and the related two-day immersive experience at the Dolby SoHo space in New York was based on the “connectivity” of the younger generation, as well as the relaxed beauty of the model and other influential female celebrities.
In an interview with WWD, he said: “People Bella’s age, the whole idea for them is not just the actual physical travel, they’re always on the move, whether it’s physically going to a new place or also [being active].
“I mean, Liz Taylor and Sophia Loren were not kickboxing. Nor were they attached to their phones 24/7. That connectivity — the younger you get, the more extreme it gets. So we wanted to sort of capture all of that movement that is part of today’s culture.
“Bella or her sister [Gigi] or Blake Lively or Rihanna or Taylor [Swift], they’re casual. They’re glamorous and casual, so we had to somehow get all of that into it.”
The 22-year-old model praised the campaign, and insisted that her mother, Yolanda Hadid, was the perfect woman to illustrate the casual glamour the designer was trying to portray in the campaign.
She said: “It’s put-together without being put-together, which is really nice,”
“[My mom] was super relaxed, growing up; I remember her packing one pair of jeans and one pair of shoes. It was always just us three with her, and she would scoop us all up and that’s how we would travel.”
The campaign’s interactive experience will feature multiple rooms with installations for guests to capture “moments” on their own devices or installed camera systems and will also see visitors the chance to insert themselves into a re-created campaign set, which will feature props that encourage movement.

Cara De La Hoyde went on Love Island to avoid rent

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara De La Hoyde only went on ‘Love Island’ so she didn’t have to pay rent for six weeks.
The 27-year-old reality TV star – who won the dating show with Nathan Massey in 2016 – admits she appeared on the ITV2 show to avoid forking out on a home and to have a free holiday, and she insists the hit series is now “totally different” because people go onto the show to become famous.
Speaking on radio show ‘Heart Breakfast’, she said: “I don’t really watch anymore if I’m honest because for me it’s a different show. We went on. We had no idea. I just didn’t want to pay rent for six weeks so I was like right, I’ll and sit in the sun.
“Now I think it’s a totally different. I think people are entering for different reasons. It’s a totally different ball game.”
The brunette beauty has also given her tips for getting through the audition process, advising wannabees to “just be yourself” because “the public are brutal if you are not yourself”.
Despite Cara’s ‘Love Island’ views, she and Nathan have already secured their baby son a spot on the show for when he’s 18.
The couple previously revealed they had asked show bosses if their son Freddie, 13 months, can have a “free pass” onto the programme when he’s an adult as they want him to replicate their success.
The hunk said: “He gets a free pass. We spoke to the producers, and we said, ‘So when he’s 18 is he allowed in?’ and they said: ‘Yep, if we’re still going little Fred gets to go in.’ ”

Kyrie Irving set to star in untitled haunted hotel flick

OHMYGOSSIP — Kyrie Irving is set to star in a horror flick inspired by an infamous haunted hotel.
According to Variety, the 26-year-old NBA player – who recently appeared in the 2018 sports comedy ‘Uncle Drew’ – will star and be an executive producer in the untitled film, and the Boston Celtics star has revealed that he “connected” with the plot of the movie “immediately”.
Imagine Entertainment is basing the plot of the highly-anticipated flick on the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City, which is notorious with travelling NBA teams and even had an article in the Players’ Tribune, and some basketball stars even refuse to stay there because of its haunted atmosphere.
Irving said: “Having had my own interesting experiences at the Skirvin Hotel, I connected with this idea immediately. To work with Brian Grazer is a dream come true, and I’m excited to bring this project to life with the Imagine Entertainment team.”
The Skirvin hotel was famously built in 1911 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The film is set to be produced by Imagine Entertainment Chairman Brian Grazer and ‘Now You See Me’s’ Bobby Cohen who confessed that he knew the film would work because it is “fascinatingly relevant”.
Cohen added: “I’d heard rumours about the Skirvin before, but once we realized that by coupling the deliciously eerie with the fascinatingly relevant, we were on to something big with this one. Kyrie is an ideal collaborator and this is a great movie to make with Imagine.”
The upcoming project will be developed as a satirical horror and will tap in to the Skirvin Hotel’s spooky folklore.

Guillermo del Toro and Jennifer Kent working on horror film together

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo del Toro is working with ‘Babadook’ director Jennifer Kent on a new horror film.
The two filmmakers are renowned for their work in the genre of scares – with Guillermo’s past work including ‘Mimic’, ‘Cronos’ and ‘Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark’ – and they are now teaming up to create a fresh fear-inducing film, although the details of the project are top secret.
Speaking to website Bloody Disgusting, Jennifer said: “I’m not being secretive but I’m not sure I can talk about it. It’s something scary and I really admire him and his work. I think he’s a true artist so I’m excited to know more. We’re in early stages of that.”
Kent’s next project is Australian period drama ‘The Nightingale’, which is set in 1825 in the British penal colony of Van Diemen’s Land, now known as the Australian state of Tasmania), and follows young female convict Claire (Aisling Franciosi) on a revenge mission against British officer Hawkins (Sam Claflin) following a terrible act he committed against her family.
But she is staying busy and as well as her project with Guillermo she is also developing a TV series ‘Tiptree’ based on the life of American science fiction author James Tiptree Jr., which was the pseudonym for Alice B. Sheldon who wrote under a pen name to show that there was no different between male and female writing.
Speaking about the series, Kent said: “James Tiptree Jr. was this man who wrote these incredible short stories, science fiction stories and became in that sci-fi world at the level of Philip K. Dick or Ursula Le Guin, very, very successful. They were very violent stories, stories very prescient and very astute on human being and human nature but using aliens, foreign planets, dystopian worlds. No one knew who this man was or what he looked like. Then after 10 years, they discovered he was a 60-year-old-woman who lived in Virginia. Her life then became public.
“It’s going to be quite a surreal abstract ride through her life. She was a genius and I’m really excited for people to know who she is … She was just a one-off human being with an extraordinary life.”
Tiptree’s tomes include ‘The Screwfly Solution’, ‘Houston, Houston, Do You Read?’ and ‘The Girl Who Was Plugged In’.

Emily Eavis addresses Glastonbury’s future

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Eavis “doesn’t know” how much longer Glastonbury Festival will be around for.
The world renowned music extravaganza’s organiser – who curates the line-up with her father, Michael Eavis – has opened up about the challenges the Worthy Farm event in Somerset, South West England – which launched in 1970 – is faced with each year, including extreme weather and their relationships with the owners of the farmland the site is situated on.
The festival already has a “fallow year” every few years to allow the muddy fields to recover.
Appearing on George Ezra’s ‘George Ezra & Friends’ podcast, Emily admitted: “I don’t know if it will be going that long.
“There are so many factors its dependent on.
“We’re reliant on good feeling and where people help us out.
“The location of it means we are using 20 different farms’ land so we have to maintain relationships with people and we have to take over their land.
“The fact that it’s a farm, the fact that there is extreme weather. There are so many things.”
Emily says that it’s vital that the festival, which is spread out over around 900 acres of land, and will this year see 135,000 festival-goers party on the sprawling farmlands, maintains its size and doesn’t get any bigger.
She explained to the ‘Shotgun’ hitmaker: “We have a licence which is in perpetuity, which means we don’t have to apply for it every year.
“But now our council can see that it brings in so much to the local economy and there are so many benefits.
“So fingers crossed, we’ll keep it going.”
So far, Stormzy has been confirmed for the Pyramid Stage, Kylie Minogue is set to make her debut performing the Sunday afternoon Legend’s slot and Janelle Monae was recently announced for the West Holts Stage.
Emily has fulled rumours that The Cure could be set to play this June.
Speaking about how Robert Smith’s band’s headlining set in 1995 was a turning point in the festival’s history, she said: “I was born in ’79 right, so the festival in the ’80s it was quite – the music we had on, certainly in the early 80s was much more of a kind of certain genre.
“There was only really one stage and it was more like Elvis Costello and Van Morrison and great artists like that, but in the early 80s it didn’t really cross over to the pop culture in the kind of popular way that it does now.
“And then I suddenly probably in the early-late ’80s when I was probably nine or 10 that I started getting really excited by my own kind of music. Do you know what I mean?
“Like I got really into The Cure for example and then they ended up playing and I was like: ‘This is amazing … this festival is quite cool.'”

Paris Jackson unveils new Led Zeppelin tattoos

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson has got a tattoo tribute to Led Zeppelin.
The 20-year-old actress and model – who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe – has unveiled four tattoos on her arm of the British rock band’s logos in their honour.
She wrote on Twitter: “was planning for a few months on just getting zoso but then i said f**k it and (sic)”
Paris’ new tattoos come just a few weeks after it was revealed she has checked herself into a treatment facility to work on her emotional health and “to aid in her wellness plan”.
A source said: “She decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritise her physical and emotional health. She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan.”
Paris had previously opened up about her battle with depression and says it stemmed from hanging out with “a lot of older people doing a lot of crazy things”.
She explained: “I was doing a lot of things that 13-, 14-, 15-year olds shouldn’t do. I tried to grow up too fast, and I wasn’t really that nice of a person. I was crazy. I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help.”
And Paris had previously took to Instagram to plead with her critics to give her a break.
She said: “I guess this is for the people that don’t agree with who I am and don’t agree with my morals, and spend their time trying to hurt me. I like to think that I’m on a pretty good track, as someone that is literally still a teenager … I get it, y’all don’t like the tattoos, y’all don’t like profanity, y’all don’t like my free spirit, my outspokenness. I’m a young chick and I should be quiet, I get it. I am a teenager. I am doing the best I can, I’m working as hard as I possible can to make a living for myself and create my own life. I’m fighting for human rights, I’m fighting for animal rights, I’m fighting for the environment. Basically any liberalist movement that will create positive impact on this planet, I’m trying to get involved in (sic).”

The ‘My Heart Will Go On’ hitmaker was devastated when her beloved spouse René Angélil passed away three years ago and she admits she takes comfort in knowing he is “at peace” now.
She said: “Knowing that now he’s in peace and is resting and is always within me. I see him every day through the eyes of my children.
“He gave me so much strength. To be honest, I think I’m at the best of my life right now and I want to enjoy and embrace every moment of it and really enjoy it. It’s like I’m having a second wind, like I’m having the wind beneath my wings. I’m having a good time.”
And the 50-year-old singer is grateful to have a friend in dancer Pepe Munoz but has played down the chance of a romance.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she added: “He’s a gentleman and we’re friends, we’re best friends. Yeah, there’s another man in my life but not the man in my life. I don’t mind because he’s handsome and he’s my best friend. Yeah there’s another man in my life but not the man in my life.”
Celine had previously revealed that she sleeps in the same bed as her twin sons to stop herself feeling “lonely” following the death of René.
She explained: “I organise myself to not feel lonely. So I got myself a huge, huge, huge bed and I sleep with my twins. They are comforting me a lot. I need them. I need them close. And when it’s time for them to say they want their room, their room’s ready. But we watch a lot of TV together. I’m discovering Disney. They’re really well because I’m strong. I’m sounding pretentious but if I don’t show them the way, they will question it. Papa is not coming back but Papa is in your heart. We kiss him every night. We have a little ritual where we say goodnight to him with a little picture. Then the kids talk to him. And they write words, put them in balloons and we send the balloons to the sky.”
