OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie is set to star in original thriller ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’.
The 43-year-old actor has been cast by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan – who is best known for his work on ‘Hell or High Water’ – in his big screen adaptation of Michael Koryta’s 2014 tome about fourteen-year-old Jace Wilson, who witnesses a brutal murder and is given a false identity and sent on a program for troubled teens.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will move away from some of the main parts of the suspense story.
The studios behind ‘A Simple Favour’, Bron Studios, are producing the flick, along with Steven Zaillian (‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’) and Garrett Basch via Film Rites.
It’s also reported that the script is female-driven.
Angelina hasn’t been on the big screen since 2015’s ‘By the Sea’ – which saw her star alongside her ex-husband Brad Pitt as troubled couple Vanessa and Roland – however she voiced Tigress in ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ in 2016.
The ‘Girl Interrupted’ star’s next big gig is currently ‘Maleficent 2’, which sees the Hollywood star reprise the titular role in Disney’s dark fantasy film, which is currently in post-production and set to hit screens in 2020.
It’s not currently known when ‘Those Who Wish Me Dead’ is being slated to hit cinemas.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus’ wedding was “spur-of-the-moment”.
The couple tied the knot in December after nearly a decade together on and off and the ‘Last Song’ star has revealed it wasn’t “hard” to organise because they only have a small group of friends and family.
He said: “It wasn’t hard – we have a small group of friends. It was mainly immediate family, a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing.”
And the 29-year-old actor says it is “same but different” being married to Miley as they have been together so long.
He added to Extra TV: “I am very happy to be where I am. It’s the same but different [because we’ve been together for] the better part of 10 years.”
Liam made the comments shortly after a source claimed that Miley “wants to have a family” with her new husband and they want to take their relationship to the next level by starting a family together.
The source said: “Miley is not pregnant currently but does want to have a family with Liam. Miley and Liam say they felt married before their actual ceremony. Miley is so happy with her life right now. She’s finishing up recording her next album and she and Liam couldn’t be happier.”
And Liam feels “very lucky” to be married to Miley.
Asked how he is enjoying married life, he shared: “It’s the best. It’s the best. I feel so lucky to be with someone like her. It’s great. Very lucky.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Police and paramedics were called to Blac Chyna’s hotel room after she got into a fight with her boyfriend.
The ‘Rob + Chyna’ star is on vacation in Hawaii with Kid Buu but things turned sour on Monday (28.01.19) when they allegedly got into a heated altercation at the Ritz-Carlton in Honolulu after the 30-year-old former make-up artist accused her partner of being unfaithful and the row turned violent.
Sources told TMZ that Chyna scratched Kid Buu, and he is alleged to have then slammed her against a wall several times and choked her, prompting someone to call for emergency services.
No one seemed to be seriously hurt or was taken to hospital.
The Honolulu Police Department confirmed an incident is currently under investigation.
They said in a statement to People magazine: “Shortly before 9 a.m. today, a female visitor staying in Waikiki reported being assaulted by a male acquaintance.
“The victim reported that she and the suspect had been involved in an argument several hours earlier, and the argument had escalated to a physical confrontation.
“The male left the area after the confrontation and has not been located.
“This incident has been classified as abuse of a household member. The investigation is continuing, and no further information is being released at this time.”
An insider claimed both Chyna – who has children King Cairo, six, and Dream, two, from past relationships – and Kid Buu were “intoxicated” at the time of the fight.
The source added: “It was more of a ‘he said, she said’ situation. They both had complaints to the police, but in the end no one was arrested or taken to the hospital.”
News of the row comes after it was revealed Chyna’s former partner, Rob Kardashian, was “mad” at his ex-fiancee because she left their daughter Dream with a nanny instead of in his care while she went away.
A source recently said: “Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in LA while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer.
“Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about. She needs to tell him when she won’t be in LA so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Davidson has admitted the internet doesn’t make him “very happy”.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star – who recently deleted his Instagram account after sharing a worrying post in December that implied he felt suicidal – is trying to stay away from being online because he knows it doesn’t make him feel good.
He said: “Just don’t go online. It doesn’t make me very happy. Even if it’s not about me, it’s random s**t like, ‘Trump farts.’ I’m not a fan of it.”
Pete is currently in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival, where he is promoting his movie ‘Big Time Adolescence’ and he admitted it was nice to be in the state for a different reason as he was last there four years ago for a stint in the Cirque Lodge rehab facility.
He told Variety: “I love Park City, Utah, because the last time I was here, I was in rehab.
“It’s nice to be on the other side of it.”
Raising his bottle of beer, he added: “And, also – it speaks wonders to your rehab facilities.”
‘Big Time Adolescence’ was filmed in Syracuse, New York, last summer while Pete was on hiatus from ‘SNL’ but he didn’t have a great time as he felt he was constantly being “hunted down” by police – who arrested him for possession of marijuana at one point during the period – as they didn’t have anything else to do.
He said: “It sucked. The whole town of Syracuse blows. Let’s be honest, they just found out I was there and tried to arrest me the whole time.
“The cops, because there’s nothing going on there, they were hunting me down the whole time.
“They tried to arrest me for bringing business to your town. Never again, Syracuse.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams’ Las Vegas residency could clash with his potential return to ‘The X Factor’ this year.
Bosses of the hit ITV series are said to be concerned the 44-year-old singer may miss out on some shows this year – as he did in 2018 when he was away from his judging spot on a pre-scheduled leg of his solo tour in South America – if he returns to the judging panel, after he announced his first Las Vegas residency for March 2019.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Producers were impressed with Robbie and (his wife) Ayda last year and definitely want them back.
“But there’s a bit of a question mark currently over how auditions fit in with his Vegas residency.
“There’s talk of ripping up the schedule entirely to work around him. However, the problem is that if they do auditions in May that clashes with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, which most of the crew also work on.
“If they push it back to July, then that puts serious pressure on producers to get all the stages of the show finished, so they’re stuck a bit at the moment.”
Last year, Robbie blamed himself for teen duo Acacia & Aaliyah’s ‘X Factor’ failure, insisting he was the reason his act didn’t reach the final because he wasn’t there to guide them when he was away on tour.
The former Take That star previously said: “Had I been with them maybe I wouldn’t have had them perform ‘Maniac’.
“But from South America it’s difficult to feel the temperature of the performance.
“I watched it in Guadalajara in Mexico thinking, ‘I wish they hadn’t done that.’
“That’s down to me. My not being there cost them, I think.
“But I’m delusional and think I’m going to win everything, which is how I’ve got this far – delusions.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louisa Clein has told how her latest ‘Emmerdale’ storyline has led to some viewers threatening to switch off after finding it “utterly disgusting”.
The 39-year-old actress’ alter-ego, school teacher Maya Stepney, has been seen seducing her 15-year-old pupil and stepson Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) in recent weeks, and while she has received “amazing messages of encouragement” about the plot, some supporters have found it tough to watch.
She said: “I’ve had a lot of amazing messages of encouragement and people saying you’re telling a great story because this happened to me and it is so true.
“We have also had people saying this is utterly disgusting. People are finding it very difficult to watch.
“If we can help one person – if just one person watches it and thinks, ‘I am going to say something, I am going to get help’ then it is worth doing.
“This story has to show the child is believed, she has to get found out.”
Off screen, Louisa is good friends with Judge Robert Rinder, who introduced her to her now-husband of eight years, part-time judge Jeremy Brier.
And the former ‘Judge John Deed’ actress admits Robert has performed “loads of match-makes” in his time.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I was working with Benedict Cumberbatch and he introduced me. We became best buddies. He’s done loads of match-makes.”
Last year, Louisa admitted she had been “trying her best” to convince Judge Rinder to join ‘Emmerdale’.
She said: “Robert has been fantastic. His knowledge of the TV industry is extensive so he’s been helping me through it with fashion tips. He’s always been a rock in my life.
“I’m trying my best to tempt him on to a soap. He’d be great on ‘Emmerdale’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jayne Dunn says herbal diet tablets are “a waste of money”.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who dropped from a size 12 to six in the run up to marrying her long-term boyfriend Jonathan Smith last spring – has hit out at the weight loss pills and fad dieting, insisting there are more “interesting” ways to stay in shape.
When asked if she had ever tried “a fad diet”, Sarah told OK! magazine: “I’ve always been against them. When I was younger I’d probably class eating healthily as having loads of salad, so now I’d probably tell my younger self that there are more interesting ways to be healthy! So many people still take herbal diet tablets, it’s a waste of money and it’s not good for you!”
The 37-year-old star – who gave birth to son Stanley in 2016 – says she feels stronger than ever, and she hasn’t missed a workout session since having her boy.
She said: “I feel the most confident and strong I have ever felt, even more so than in my twenties. I thought getting back into exercise after having my son Stanley would be difficult but I wanted to get back to feeling like me.
“I knew it was going to be tough, but I haven’t missed one session.”
Sarah loves exercise because it makes her feel “better in herself”, and she gets a buzz afterwards.
She added: “I sleep a lot better and I also feel better in myself. I look back at pictures of myself in my twenties and although I was slim, my skin wasn’t great and I wasn’t sleeping well.
“Now I know the difference eating healthily and training does. For me, exercise is so much more than aesthetics. Now I enjoy having ‘me’ time during workouts, and I get a high afterwards.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins believes she “blacked out” during her ‘Dancing On Ice’ performance.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star stumbled during her routine with partner Matt Evers on Sunday’s (27.01.19) programme and reportedly thinks she fell face-first onto the ice because she momentarily lost consciousness after her blood sugar levels dropped too low.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Gemma had been wired up to a heart monitor before she went on stage.
“She believes she blacked out while she was skating, which is what caused her to crash into the ice.
“She didn’t know what had happened when she got back up — her blood sugars were low and she didn’t feel right.”
Gemma is expected to learn later on Tuesday (29.01.19) whether she’ll be fit to skate this coming weekend and even if she isn’t, she’s determined not to quit the competition.
The source added: “She is determined to make the show on Sunday despite the injury and is telling her friends, ‘I ain’t giving up’.”
The 37-year-old star has been left in agony with pain in her knees and resorted to using her mother Joan’s wheelchair to get around on Monday (28.01.19).
However, Gemma won’t let that stop her from fulfilling commitments she already has in place.
The insider said: “Yesterday she was being wheeled about in her mum’s wheelchair but still made a commitment to visit a children’s hospital because she didn’t want to let anyone down.”
Gemma had previously admitted she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by the fall but couldn’t wait to get back onto the ice.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Absolutely devastated & embarrassed. My heart is broken but when I went down I thought of @gypsyking101 Tyson Fury and knew I had to get back up & carry on! Can’t thank you enough for your support on social media and picking up the phone to vote! I’m in a lot of pain but bring on fantasy week!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eamonn Holmes claims “99 per cent of TV is fake”.
The 59-year-old star insisted that all live TV presenters simply “assume a role” that isn’t necessarily their real persona and pointed out the cooking segments on shows such as ‘This Morning’ – which he hosts on Fridays and Sundays with wife Ruth Langsford – always get a positive reaction, admitting that they don’t always like the food but have to pretend they do because it’s better on screen.
He told Radio Times magazine: “Basically, 99 per cent of TV is fake.
“Everybody assumes a role that they’re not in real life, so all we do is pull back the curtain a bit.
“No one ever tells the truth [in the cooking segments]. When do you ever hear someone say, ‘That’s not very nice?’ I’ve learnt that when you tell the truth, it’s not often appreciated.”
However, Ruth, 58, insisted not everything that viewers see is an act because she and Eamonn have a “genuine” relationship.
She said: “There are lots of presenting duos, but we’re a genuine couple.
“You can’t fabricate that, can you?”
Though the pair work together on TV, they don’t spend their time at home watching television together as they have very different viewing habits.
Ruth explained: “Eamonn’s got one room, and I’ve got a little family room with an L-shaped sofa that has a footstool. I always sit with my feet up.
“And my television’s on the wall – it’s quite big…”
Her husband interrupted: “First of all, it’s not very big, it’s 40 inches.
“I watch a big television, which is 72 inches. And I have a reclining leather chair that I don’t move from. I often sleep in it, I eat in it, and you’ll probably find me dead in it.”
Meanwhile, Eamonn revealed his dream is to bring back iconic TV series ‘This Is Your Life’, which ran for 48 years until 2003 and was hosted initially by the late Eamonn Andrews and then Michael Aspel.
He said: “I’m on a crusade to bring back ‘This Is Your Life’, presented not by Eamonn Andrews, but by Eamonn Holmes.”
Ruth added: “Eamonn was named after Eamonn Andrews because his mum was a big fan.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Strokes will play their first UK show in four years at All Points East Festival.
The ‘Last Nite’ rockers – whose last live performance was in 2017 at Lollapalooza Chile – will make their comeback on British soil on May 25, headlining the music extravaganza at Victoria Park in Hackney, London.
The five-piece – comprised of Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr., Nikolai Fraiture and Fabrizio Moretti – will be joined by Jack White’s band The Raconteurs, Johnny Marr, Interpol, Parquet Courts, Jarvis Cocker, Courtney Barnett, Anna Calvi, Bakar and Viagra Boys.
While the group – who formed in 1998 – haven’t released an album since ‘Comedown Machine’ five years ago, frontman Julian toured the UK last year with his band The Voidz.
Strokes bandmate Albert previously said they had no plans to “split up”, despite his own solo career doing so well.
He insisted: “Definitely not, in fact, the bigger were I to get, the more likely they would be to both exist.
“I know The Strokes will be a band, whatever. I don’t think we’d ever say we’ve split up because we’ve been together too long to do that.”
In 2017, Albert’s father claimed that the group had been back in the studio recording their sixth studio LP with producer Rick Rubin.
The band denied it at the time, and Julian later took the opportunity to shoot down rumours and admitted he was “focused” on The Voidz.
However, he did tease that new music would come out in the future.
He said at the time: “I’m really focused on The Voidz right now. Some new stuff will come out soon. With The Strokes, I don’t know – there’s no news right now.”
All Points East Festival also see the likes of Chemical Brothers, Bring Me The Horizon, Christine and the Queens and Bon Iver perform between May 24 and June 4.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley and Jordan Banjo believe they could be the next Ant and Dec.
The Diversity stars – who shot to fame on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2009 after the street dance group won the show’s third series – are hopeful they can become a top TV duo after branching out into presenting, because they have nearly 30 years of chemistry.
Ashley is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper: “I don’t know about whether Ant and Dec need to watch out but maybe in a few years it’ll all be about the Banjo brothers.
“We’ve had nearly 30 years to make that work so I feel like we could make a really good team.
“I think what makes a good presenting duo is the chemistry and the timing between you.”
Ashley recently lined up his ‘The Greatest Dancer’ co-host brother Jordan, 26, or their fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely, to take his place on the ‘Dancing on Ice’ panel if his wife goes into labour while the show is on air.
The 30-year-old dancer and his significant other Francesca Abbott are expecting their first child, who is due to be born during the ice skating programme’s run, and he has made a contingency plan should he have to dash off set during a live broadcast.
He previously said: “I’ll have to get Perri or Jordan to come and sit there on stand-by.
“I’m loving ‘Dancing on Ice’. It’s a classic isn’t it?”
Ashley is finding the idea of fatherhood “quite surreal”, but is delighted about the prospect after the couple went through a “tough” fertility journey.
He previously said: “It’s already quite surreal for me thinking there is a little baby Banjo on the way. A little girl.
“It’s been tough. People assume, I did it myself, they think, ‘If you want a baby, have one.’ It doesn’t happen like that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lakeith Stanfield is being lined up to star in Jordan Peele’s ‘Candyman’ movie.
According to SuperBroMovies, the 27-year-old American actor is in talks to star as the film’s protagonist Anthony, a young man in Chicago who researches the Candyman urban legend.
Peele – who made his directorial debut on the acclaimed 2017 psychological scare fest ‘Get Out’ – will co-write the new horror film, bringing back the cult horror franchise which began in 1992 and starred Tony Todd as a hook-wielding supernatural killer who appears after his name is said five times in a mirror.
The original film was inspired by legendary horror author Clive Barker’s short story ‘The Forbidden’.
Nia DaCosta is on board to direct the project from 39-year-old Peele’s script with Win Rosenfeld.
Like ‘Get Out’, the original ‘Candyman’ was centered around an African America character and Peele admits the movie had a huge impact on him when he was younger, especially as Candyman actor Todd also starred in Tom Savini’s 1990 remake of George A. Romero’s zombie classic ‘Night of the Living Dead’.
He said: “The original was a landmark film for black representation in the horror genre. Alongside ‘Night of the Living Dead’, ‘Candyman’ was a major inspiration for me as a filmmaker – and to have a bold new talent like Nia at the helm of this project is truly exciting. We are honored to bring the next chapter in the Candyman canon to life and eager to provide new audiences with an entry point to Clive Barker’s legend.”
The first film spawned two follow-ups ‘Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh’, and ‘Candyman: Day of the Dead’, and Peel’s new movie has been described as “spiritual sequel” to the original and will be a return to neighborhood where the legend began; a now-gentrified section of Chicago where the Cabrini-Green housing projects once stood.
Shooting on the movie is scheduled to begin in spring 2019 and Universal Pictures will release ‘Candyman’ in cinemas in June 2020.

OHMYGOSSIP — Anthony Daniels has filmed his last ever scenes as C-3PO in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
The 72-year-old actor has revealed that his time portraying the lovable protocol droid in a galaxy far, far away is up and it is time for him to hang up his gold metallic suit.
After wrapping his scenes on ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’, Daniels paid tribute to his director J.J. Abrams and President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy for their work on the project and for bringing him back for Disney’s new trilogy.
Taking to his Twitter account on Monday (28.01.19), he posted: “Today was 3PO’s last on Episode IX. He’s sad – so am I. But we’re so proud to have worked with such a lovely, talented cast & crew lead by J.J. & Kathy. I’ll miss everyone but I’m glad to know that we’ve been making something exceptional together, to share with the waiting world.”
Daniels holds the distinct honour of being the only actor to have appeared in every live action ‘Star Wars’ film making his debut in 1977’s ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’ as C-3P0 opposite Kenny Baker as astromech droid R2-D2, beginning one of cinema’s most enduring double acts.
However, Daniels did not portray C-3P0 in most recent release ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ instead he had a cameo as con artist Tak.
When he got the call to be part of the new trilogy, Daniels didn’t hesitate to be part of the movies but did tell ‘Episode VII – The Force Awakens’ director Abrams that he wanted a new suit because the old one was so uncomfortable to wear.
He previously shared: “It’s unconformable in all the places that when it is uncomfortable, it’s very uncomfortable. When JJ asked me to be in the costume I said yes, but can we get a new one? After 40 years I think we have to change. It was beginning to smell pretty bad. And they 3D printed it.”
‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ will serve as an end to the Skywalker saga and it will open in cinemas in December 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — AJ Tracey is among 100 more artists who have been confirmed for The Great Escape Festival 2019.
The 24-year-old grime star – who was crowned the winner of MTV’s Brand New 2017 – will head up the grime/rap/hip-hop side of things, along with rising rapper Mykki Blanco, at the music event that celebrates up-and-coming artists with a series of concerts across Brighton, England, between May 8 and May 11.
AJ is set to release his self-titled debut studio album on February 8, which features the Not3s collaboration ‘Butterflies’ and Giggs-featuring ‘Nothing But Net’, which means he’s likely to debut some new tracks during his set.
Elsewhere, Lewis Capaldi’s support acts for his Spotlight Show at the seaside city’s Brighton Dome venue, on May 9, have been confirmed.
The ‘Grace’ hitmaker will be joined by indie rock group Easy Life and and R&B soul singer Kara Marni.
Other acts performing include Greentea Peng, Priests, Sports Team, Yves Tumor and Pagan.
They joined previously confirmed acts Connie Constance, Indoor Pets, Pip Blom, Skynd, Self Esteem, Jockstrap, The Howl and The Hum, Crack Cloud and Kawala.
300 more acts are still to be confirmed for the epic four-day event.
2018’s Great Escape saw the likes of Pale Waves, Tom Walker and Alma perform.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily-Rose Depp has “always admired” Karl Lagerfeld.
The 19-year-old model and actress – who is the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis – used to accompany her mother to the Chanel studio for fittings when she was a child and as a result, the ‘Yoga Hosers’ actress has had a great “respect” for the iconic fashion house.
Speaking to the February issue of Australia’s Vogue magazine, Lily-Rose – who is the face of Chanel No 5 L’eau – said: “The first time I ever met Karl [Lagerfeld] was when I went up to the studio with my mum.
“I was really little and I had been with my mum to have all her fittings, which was so exciting and magical, and she was trying on all the amazing dresses. She used to say hi to Karl so I remember meeting him and I think it’s really rare to meet someone like Karl, because he’s obviously such an icon in so many ways, but he was so sweet, down-to-earth and really caring.”
And getting to work alongside the fashion legend has only given Lily-Rose more respect for the 85-year-old designer.
She added: “My mum would tell me about him [Karl] and about the house. My respect for him has grown as I’ve gotten older and been able to work with him in a more personal sense. I’ve always admired him and the house.”
Meanwhile, the ‘A Faithful Man’ star believes having the opportunity to play different characters means it’s important to keep her personal life “separate” so the two don’t align.
She added: “I think it’s interesting being an actor or an actress: it’s about interpreting other people’s stories and other characters that are different from yourself. So I think there’s a lot in keeping your personal life separate if you can, if that’s what you want to do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham was honoured when Duchess Meghan wore one of her designs on Christmas Day (25.12.18).
The 37-year-old royal stepped out in one of the 44-year-old designer’s creations when she and her husband Prince Harry joined his family for a traditional church service at Sandringham
on Christmas morning and the former Spice Girls singer thought the ex-‘Suits’ star looked “so beautiful” in the outfit.
Speaking on ‘Live! With Ryan and Kelly’ she said: “I mean she looked so beautiful, it was such a lovely surprise to wake up to on Christmas morning, you know, I think she’s such a beautiful, strong and wonderful woman – so it was a huge honour!”
The Duchess of Sussex wore a deep navy Wool-Blend Midi Dress and with a matching coat, both by Victoria, and teamed it with one of her bags and a fascinator too.
The designer attended the former actress’ wedding with husband David Beckham, 43, at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor in May last year and Victoria has previously said Meghan’s wedding dress was “absolutely beautiful”.
Victoria praised the custom boatneck, silk Givenchy gown – designed by Clare Waight Keller – which the royal wore to the ceremony.
She gushed: “I thought she looked absolutely beautiful. It really suited her. I thought it was perfect for her. And Harry looked great.
“It was such a beautiful, incredible wedding. It was just the best day. They looked so happy, and everybody was just so happy for them. Meghan seems like a genuinely lovely woman, who really loves him. It felt very real, very honest.”
