OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha didn’t expect to receive an outpouring of support after revealing designers wouldn’t dress her for the Grammy Awards.
The 29-year-old singer spoke out last week to claim she had been told she was “too big” to be given a dress by a number of fashion houses, and she was subsequently inundated with kind messages from fans and the likes of Demi Lovato, Rita Ora and Megan Mullally, much to her surprise.
She told People magazine: “I really just wanted to share my story and how frustrated I was. I never expected to receive the amount of love and support that I did,.”
When she does make it down the red carpet for the annual awards ceremony on February 10, Bebe will be supported by her immediate family.
She said: “My date will be my mom, dad and brother. I’m bringing them all on the red carpet. I want them all with me every step of the way.
“They’ve been there for me through everything, so I want them all there for this. We will be celebrating no matter what, win or lose.”
The ‘I’m A Mess’ singer – who is nominated for New Artist and Country Duo/Group Performance for ‘Meant to Be’, her collaboration with Florida Georgia Line – feels honoured to be shortlisted at the prestigious ceremony.
She said: “The Grammys are just so special. I remember watching as a kid at home with my mom. Attending as an nominee is so incredible as you feel like you are being recognised by your peers and the people you respect in the industry.”
Bebe previously took to Instagram to slam designers for refusing to dress her size 8 frame.
In a video posted on her account, she fumed: “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like the coolest thing ever.
“And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet … So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”
The ‘I Got You’ singer is angry that they are giving out the message that anyone who is size eight and above isn’t “beautiful”.
She added: “If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses. ‘Cause that’s crazy … You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Beverley Callard is “broken-hearted” following the death of her pet dog Trevor.
The 61-year-old actress – who is best known for portraying Liz McDonald in ‘Coronation Street’ – has had a rough week after she had to say farewell to her beloved ‘Corrie’ canine Trev who went to doggy heaven on Tuesday evening (30.01.19).
Beverley had to make the painful decision to have her mutt mate put to sleep by the vet but although she is grieving now she knows it was the right thing to do.
Posting a photo tribute to English bull terrier Trev on Twitter, she wrote: “Very sad day today our beautiful Trev had to be put to sleep, broken hearted but it was the right thing to do x”
Since tweeting the news, Beverley has been inundated with messages from her friends and loyal fans with messages of support.
One Twitter follower who sent her condolences was her ‘Corrie’ co-star Kate Ford – who plays Weatherfield vixen Tracy McDonald, Liz’s daughter-in-law, in the ITV soap – wrote: “Sad news, love to you x”
Bev adopted Trev from an animal charity in 2011 after deciding she had to give the dog a home after learning about his harrowing start in life.
Speaking previously about her late four-legged friend, she said: “He had been stabbed, he had had both his hips broken with a baseball bat, he was in a really bad way, and apparently it took them about eight months to make him better. We gave him a home and he is just the softest boy in the whole world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tame Impala have joined the line-up for Lowlands Festival.
The psychedelic rock band, whose touring members are Kevin Parker, Cam Avery, Dominic Simper and Julien Barbagallo, are among the new additions for the musical extravaganza in Holland, and will perform fresh off their 2019 tour of the US
Also joining the bill for this year’s event are American musical duo Twenty One Pilots, iconic English electronic group The Prodigy, American rapper, A$AP Rocky, as well as Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals.
And that’s not all as New Order, Royal Blood, Anne-Marie, Billie Eilish, Franz Ferdinand, Jorja Smith, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Boy Pablo, The, IDLES, Marc Rebillet, Moonlight Benjamin, POND, Slaves, This is LOVSKI, Two Feet and Whitney will also be among the performers.
The festival, which takes place from 16 to 18 August at Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, boasts 12 covered stages, which will offer a diverse line-up of talent from the worlds of music, film, theatre, comedy, literature and science.
Revellers can relax in one of seven luxury campsites, which boast flushable toilets and hot showers, and the festival even has a wellness village featuring saunas, hot tubs and sports facilities.
And that’s not all as the site also has a market with everything from clothes and vinyl stalls to a barber’s shop, as well as dozens of restaurants and food and drink stalls, a local radio station and even its own currency.

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has admitted impending fatherhood has made him more aware of his “responsibility” to the world.
The 34-year-old royal – who is expecting his first child with Duchess Meghan – stepped out to attend a Commonwealth youth discussion at Lancaster House in London on Wednesday (30.01.19) afternoon, and the prince spoke out about making the “world more resilient” for the future “generation”.
Speaking to the crowd, he said: “As someone who is about to become a father, I am acutely aware of our shared responsibility to make this world more resilient and its inhabitants more accountable for the next generation. The only way to see real progress is not by chance, it’s by change.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex embarked on a 76-engagement tour of part of the Commonwealth last year, which was kicked off with the announcement that the pair were expecting a baby, and the royal confessed that it was a “humbling” experience to visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga .
Opening up about the Commonwealth countries he and Meghan had visited, Prince Harry added: “In all of these places, it’s been incredibly humbling to see how young people like yourselves are creating innovative and clever solutions to the diverse challenges you face — whether it be better mental health for everyone, eradicating extreme poverty and improving access to education for girls, or highlighting the very real effects and daily battles of climate change.”
Duchess Meghan – who was known as Meghan Markle prior to marrying the prince – also stepped out for a royal engagement on Wednesday, visiting London’s National Theatre, of which she has taken on Queen Elizabeth’s patronage.
The former ‘Suits’ actress made an appearance at London’s Southbank to join a workshop with members of the Pericles company, and was also treated to a ‘War Horse’-inspired performance by local primary school children.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosario Dawson has joined the cast of ‘Zombieland 2’.
The ‘Rent’ star is set to be joining a host of big names returning for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2009 horror comedy.
According to Variety, the 39-year-old actress will appear alongside the likes of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin as they reprise their roles from the original movie almost a decade ago, as well as the newly cast Zoey Deutch whose character is unknown.
As of the time of writing, it’s not known who Rosario will be playing, but it has been reported the film will be set in a post-apocalyptic world which sees slayers facing new breeds of zombies, as well as some fresh human survivors.
The first movie was a huge success when it was released a decade ago, and in the US it over-performed with a box office haul of $75 million on a budget of under $25 million.
Production is set to start this month, and a release this coming October will mean the project – said to be titled ‘Zombieland Too’ – will fall on the 10th anniversary of its predecessor.
‘Deadpool’ writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese will be back penning the scripts, while they will be reunited with director Ruben Fleischer at the helm.
Speaking in 2017, Wernick said: “It is [in active development]. We’re trying to get it going.
“All of our cast have read the script and love it. Reuben [Fleischer] is signed on. It’s just a matter of making our cast deals and making it for a budget number.
“All the cast have become superstars now so, we made ‘Zombieland’ with 20 million, so it’s trying to fit that financial model into the sequel model so it makes sense for the studio and being able to pay the actors what they now get paid and deserve to paid.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins was “taunted” by haunting “visions” while preparing for her role in the new film about serial killer Ted Bundy.
The 29-year-old actress stars alongside Zac Efron in the upcoming horror flick ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile’ as Ted’s girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, who testified on behalf of her murderous lover who charmed his 30 or more female victims before killing them in the 1970s.
Although the ‘Love, Rosie’ star avoided looking at gruesome case images for research – as her character believed Ted was innocent – Lily has admitted that she was tormented “every single night” for a month with visions of “rooms, logs, and broken glass.”
In an interview with Collider, he said: “I actually had an awful time in prep for it; I woke up every single night at 3 or 4 AM for a month. I was woken up with visions of destruction around rooms, logs, and broken glass.
“There was never anyone in the actual dreams, according to the star but, ‘every night at the same exact time I would have these flashes of visions. I was just taunted, it was daunting for me. I was visited every night.”
The ‘To the Bone’ actress – who is the daughter of Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman – went on to explain that her mother believed that it could be the ghost of the serial killer, who is played by Zac in the movie, trying to contact her.
She said: “I told my mom that I had been woken up by all these images and I said ‘There’s probably so many people trying to get in there right now that are no longer here’ And she’s like, ‘I mean it could be Ted.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — America Ferrera is “happier” than she “ever imagined” now that she’s a mother.
The 34-year-old actress gave birth to her son Sebastian – whom she has with her husband Ryan Piers Williams – eight months ago, and has said her life has been “wonderful” since welcoming the tot into the world, as she gushed over his mobility skills.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “He’s wonderful. I’m happier than I ever imagined being as a mom. He’s getting more mobile – army crawling. He comes to work with me sometimes.”
Her comments come after she recently revealed she has only just started to think about getting back in shape following the birth of Sebastian, because she has given up her body to her child.
The ‘Ugly Betty’ star said: “I’m still very much in service of my son … I’m just now starting to feel like I want to feel strong in my body again. I didn’t work out as much as I imagined I would during my pregnancy. I was in triathlon shape when I got pregnant. I had so much on my plate and something had to give. You create life. I found so much power in that.
“More than anything, I just try to be aware of how does what I eat make me feel. Do I feel better? Do I feel energised? Does this make me tired and not feel great?”
The ‘Superstore’ actress – who fell pregnant with her son weeks before celebrating seven years of marriage with Ryan, who she married in 2011 – confessed she “swore off scales” and tries not to be so “hard on herself”.
She added: “I try to go easy on myself. I think that’s been one of the mantras for me in all of motherhood – to try and not be so hard on myself. Which is a challenge because, like so many women, I demand so much more of myself than I would ever demand of someone else.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has reached a deal to end the legal battle over his 2016 album ‘Life of Pablo’, after a fan accused him of fraud.
The 41-year-old rapper was sued by Justin Baker-Rhett in 2016 after he made a tweet claiming his album ‘Life of Pablo’ would not be available anywhere other than on Jay-Z’s streaming service Tidal, before later going back on his word and releasing the record on other platforms including Apple and Spotify.
But on Tuesday (29.01.19), the case was dismissed after Justin filed court documents informing the court that he and Kanye West, “hereby stipulate and agree to the dismissal of Plaintiff’s individual claims with prejudice and the putative class’s claims without prejudice, with each party to bear its own attorney fees and costs.”
According to The Blast, it’s unknown whether or not Kanye and Justin exchanged any money as a way of settling the dispute.
Justin’s lawsuit was originally filed in 2016 when he took action against both Kanye and Tidal, after taking issue with a tweet the ‘Heartless’ rapper posted which said: “My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.”
The court documents at the time alleged that many Kanye fans had paid for a $9.99 monthly subscription for Tidal to hear the album, believing it would be exclusive to the streaming service, only for Kanye to then release the album on other platforms.
Justin claimed at the time that the situation was a “deceptive marketing ploy” that “fraudulently [induced] millions of American consumers into paying for Tidal’s rescue,” as he alleged the company was on the verge of financial collapse before the release of ‘Life of Pablo’.
And whilst Kanye may have settled this lawsuit, he’s still facing further legal drama when it comes to Tidal, as Norwegian officials are investigating the company after allegations of inflation of the listening numbers on albums by artists including Kanye and Beyoncé.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella has slammed critics who assume her “chemistry” with good friend Artem Chigvintsev must be “romantic”.
The 36-year-old professional wrestler became close with the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional when she was paired with him during her time on the show in 2017, and after they were spotted at a farmer’s market together recently, rumours have surfaced that they could be dating.
But Nikki – who has denied the rumours, insisting she’s still single and “having fun” with her dating life – says their close bond doesn’t have to be romantic just because they’re the opposite sex.
In a preview clip for Sunday’s (03.02.19) episode of ‘Total Bellas’, Nikki’s twin sister Brie brings up the rumours when Nikki says she wants to enlist Artem’s help with choreographing a dance for their mother, Kathy Colace.
Bella says: “Yeah, I don’t know if I would use him. I just think, how you guys’ chemistry was, it would cause rumours.”
To which Nikki hit back: “Chemistry is not just romantic. I have amazing chemistry with people in the ring, people don’t call me a lesbian.”
And later on in the clip, Brie asks Nikki if she’s concerned about dating rumours, which the star – who was formerly engaged to John Cena before the pair split weeks before their planned wedding date last spring – denies.
She adds: “I just think that’s crazy. I grew a huge passion for dancing, that’s my dancing pro that I’m so comfortable with dancing, he became one of my good friends.
“It just sucks because I’m in a situation where I feel like everyone’s constantly telling me how to live my life.”
The special promotional clip comes after Nikki recently said her trip to a farmer’s market with Artem wasn’t the start of a serious relationship.
She said: “We had amazing chemistry. I moved to LA, so it was natural. Artem had asked me to the Farmers Market. But paparazzi kinda killed it so I was like, ‘Okay, I am out of here.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B is set to headline Parklife Festival 2019.
The 26-year-old rapper will take to the stage at the 10th edition of the annual festival held in Manchester’s Heaton Park between June 8 and 9, where she is set to wow crowds with her hits including ‘Bodak Yellow’ and ‘I Like It’.
Also confirmed for the event are rap trio Migos – of which Offset, Cardi’s estranged husband and father of her daughter Kulture, is a member – Christine & The Queens, Solange, and Khalid.
The Streets will also take to the stage at the UK’s largest Metropolitan festival, marking their first festival performance in over eight years.
Elsewhere, acts including Major Lazer Soundsystem, Mark Ronson, George Ezra, Blossoms, Stefflon Don, and Disclosure will also be playing sets packed with chart topping hits.

OHMYGOSSIP — Julia Michaels thinks it’s “important” for people to “talk” about their problems.
The 25-year-old singer released her new single ‘Anxiety’ last week which deals with the subject of the mental health battle Julia has been fighting since she was a teenager, and she’s now said “talking to friends” and going to therapy helped her in her mission to improve her mental wellbeing.
She said: “I went to therapy. Talking to friends really helps. Also rationalising with myself. I think, ‘Okay, why do I feel like this?’ and try to link it to something. A lot of people feel like a burden when they talk about their problems or like they have to suppress it. It’s important for people to know they’re not alone.”
The ‘Issues’ hitmaker insists she knows how “scary” it can be to open up to someone else, but says she’s proud her own fanbase are “connected” enough for her to be able to speak her mind and know she has masses of support.
Speaking to People magazine, she added: “It’s always scary when you’re talking about the fact that you’re flawed. But my fanbase is pretty open, and that’s a big thing for us – feeling connected and feeling heard.”
Julia – who got her close pal Selena Gomez to feature on ‘Anxiety’ – opened up about her mental health in June last year, when she said she has “really bad” days from time to time when it comes to her anxiety and she doesn’t want to live in “fear”.
She said: “Some days it’s really bad and some days it’s not. I had a really horrible day in Phoenix right before I went on stage on the Red Pill Blues tour and had to go out there, and let’s just say singing after you hysterically cry is a really interesting thing to do. So, some days it hits me more than others, but I’m learning and growing and constantly trying to change parts of me that are ruled by fear … There’ll be a lot of stuff about that [breakup] and also about new love and new feelings and about anxiety and depression and all of the things that pertain to my life on a very personal level.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth almost quit acting before landing his iconic role as Thor.
The 35-year-old actor was cast as the God of thunder in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the 2011 movie ‘Thor’, and has appeared in several MCU movies since, but says he very nearly missed out on the chance to take on the iconic character because a change of “mentality” meant he almost walked away from Hollywood completely.
He said: “I was about to quit. I always wanted to act, and one of the first things I wanted to do when I got any money was pay my parents’ house off. I’d asked Dad once when he thought he’d pay it off and he said, ‘Honestly, probably never.’ I wanted to change that. So I was super active with auditions. And then my mentality changed, which came from being at a point where I was like, ‘I’m going to go back to Australia.’ I had one more audition where I was like, ‘Do this for his house. Think about reasons other than yourself.’ That was for The Cabin in the Woods, and I got that job, and from there I got Red Dawn. And then I got Thor.”
But now, the ‘Star Trek’ star – who has daughter India, six, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, four, with his wife Elsa Pataky – says he’s “happier” in his career these days, and has learned how to “truly” be himself in order to get the most out of his life.
Speaking to the March issue of Men’s Health – which hits newsstands on February 12 – he said: “I’ve stopped trying to go, ‘Who do I have to be? What personality do I have to shape in order to succeed?’ And just going, ‘Truly be yourself.’ And that’s when things started to change; that’s when I felt happier. The real work is, who am I?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood and her spouse have become “total homebodies” since welcoming their son Jacob into the world last week.
The 35-year-old singer gave birth to Jacob Bryan on January 21, and sources have said that since his arrival, both Carrie and her husband Mike Fisher – with whom she also has three-year-old son Isaiah Michael – have learned to love staying indoors and doting on their newly expanded family.
An insider said: “They’re total homebodies. They rarely leave their home at night and love the outdoors and often go for walks.”
The ‘Cry Pretty’ hitmaker lives a “quiet life” with her family, and is said to love teaching Isaiah about animals, as he’s interested in fishing and visiting zoos.
Speaking to People magazine, the source added: “Carrie lives a very quiet life. They take Isaiah fishing, to the zoo and to farms so he can learn about animals. They very much live a farm life and seem to love it.”
Carrie gave birth to Jacob after going through the devastation of three miscarriages, and sources recently said she and Mike are feeling “truly blessed” to have a “healthy” son.
An insider said: “They are just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby.
“It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn’t even know if they’d get to this point.
“They’re feeling truly blessed.”
The ‘Before He Cheats’ singer endured three miscarriages during a two-year time period, and she previously admitted she was left feeling “angry” by the ordeal.
She explained: “I had always been afraid to be angry. Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t.
“I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. [But after the miscarriages,] I got mad. [I thought], ‘Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid?’ Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilaria Baldwin’s brood had an “extreme” meltdown during a trip to the park on Wednesday (30.01.19), as they argued over who would get to hold their mother’s hands.
The 35-year-old fitness and wellness expert posted a picture on Instagram on Wednesday of her three oldest children – Carmen, five, Rafael, three, and Leonardo, two, all of whom she has with husband Alec Baldwin – sat in her lap in tears during an outing to a park, as she revealed they’d all gotten upset when they couldn’t decide who would get the chance to hold hands with their mother.
Hilaria – who also has eight-month-old son Romeo with the ‘Boss Baby’ actor – captioned the snap: “So my day is going GREAT…how’s yours???
“The nanny and I just walked the kids to the park. Took us like 40 min as they were all fighting about who was gonna hold my hands. I usually can be silly enough to change their moods, but today when we arrived, I just sat down as they all continued to scream….while our nanny laughed and documented this gem of a moment for me (love her). Thank goodness I have a sense of humor, I mean…it was so extreme that you just have to laugh.
“By the way, they are all playing “mommy and baby and cousin” now…Leo is the cousin. PARENTHOOD!!!! (sic)”
The brunette beauty is known for documenting her parenting struggles on social media, and recently shared a hilarious story about her son Rafael, after he left her “speechless” when he decided to pee in his sippy cup.
She wrote on social media: “Rafa just peed in this cup….like no joke. I have 4 kids….it’s hard to surprise me – and this left me speechless.
“It goes like this:
“He was so proud of himself and comes up to me and says: “mommy! I just peed in a cup!” He led me over to this blue sippy cup and sure enough it was filled with warm pee. And he didn’t spill ONE DROP on the floor. I was impressed. Then I was like: do I chastise him? How do you parent here?!?!? So I told him thank you for telling me and that we need to pee in the toilet. Then he backtracked and tried to tell me he actually made me a cup of tea…I guess it was warm, so it was a good try . Then he went back to the truth. Oh parenthood!!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — David Duchovny let go of the grudges he held against his father after becoming a dad himself.
The ‘X-Files’ star has daughter Madelaine West, 19, and son Kyd Miller, 16, with his ex-wife Téa Leoni, and has said that whilst he harboured hard feelings toward his own father for not spending as much time with him as he would’ve liked when he was young, he now understands how difficult parenting can be.
Speaking to People Now, he said: “You let go of so much stuff. Because you’re like, this is impossible! No wonder we all make mistakes.
“I probably didn’t get as much of my dad as I wanted as a kid. There was always that kind of hunger for him.”
David’s daughter recently appeared in an episode of the revival of ‘The X-Files’, and the 58-year-old star said he was “nervous” to see her on set, but relaxed once he saw she was a natural on screen.
He said: “I was very nervous. Not necessarily that she was going to be on the show, but just that she was going to be on set and acting. I was way more nervous than I’ve ever been for myself. I was actually just telling this story with her the other day, and I saw her do one take and I was like ‘She’s fine, I’m leaving’. She was like ‘Yeah, you left!’ I said ‘Yeah, you didn’t need me.'”
The ‘Aquarius’ star has a similar feeling when he watches his son play baseball.
He added: “My son is a pitcher and it’s like you know, I’d rather be pitching. I’d be less nervous if I was pitching. Plus I’d be playing against high schoolers which would give me an advantage.”
Despite his daughter’s appearance on the show, David says his children “don’t care” about the importance of ‘The X-Files’, but he doesn’t mind because he’d rather focus on their achievements than his own.
He said: “They don’t care and that’s fine. I don’t need them to be impressed or proud of me, I’d rather be impressed and proud of them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frankie Grande has split from the married couple he was romancing.
The 35-year-old dancer revealed in November he had been dating Mike Pophis and Daniel Sinasohn for around three months, and now he has revealed he’s once again single, as the trio have decided to end their romance.
He said: “I am single. I’ve been single for about a month now. It’s really good.”
But Frankie – who is the older brother of singer Ariana Grande – has no hard feelings toward the married pair, as he says he’s still “super grateful” for the experience the relationship gave him.
Speaking to Us Weekly magazine, he added: “I’m super grateful for my last relationship. I grew so much in it, and at the same time, it wasn’t working out anymore. I’m super glad that we decided to end things amicably. And that we can all remain friends … that’s the important thing.”
Frankie revealed the news of his romance late last year, after the trio had been together for three months.
He said at the time: “These are my boyfriends. [We’ve been dating for] almost three months, but in the gay world, it’s like five years.”
Meanwhile, Frankie previously spoke about how his ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker sister immediately accepted him when he came out as gay to her when she was 11 years old.
He said: “Ariana and I are 10 years apart and she grew up with a really gay brother who just loves her unconditionally, and it’s reciprocated. When I came out to her, she was 11 years old and I was like, ‘I have to tell you something.’ She was like, ‘What?’ I said, ‘I’m gay’. And she was like, ‘OK, cool. Do you have a boyfriend? Great, do I get to meet him?’ It didn’t faze her at all. So very early on, Ariana embraced us. For her entire life, she has known that being gay is just part of the everyday gig. And she knows that, in a way, it makes us more special and more beautiful.”
