Jeremy Hardy dead aged 57

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Hardy has died aged 57.
The comedian – who regularly appeared on TV show ‘QI’, and BBC Radio 4 panel programmes such as ‘The News Quiz’ and ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue’ – passed away after losing his battle with cancer.
He was alongside his wife Katie Barlow and daughter Elizabeth Hardy – who he adopted when he was married to Kit Hollerbach – when he died.
Jeremy’s publicist Amana Emery said his friends and family are “immensely sad” about his passing.
She said in a statement: “He retained to the end the principles that guided his life; trying to make the world more humane, and to be wonderfully funny.
“He will be enormously missed by so many, who were inspired by him and who laughed with him.
“A fitting memorial will take place, details to be announced soon.”
A post on the official BBC Radio 4 Twitter account read: “We are desperately sad to announce that Jeremy Hardy, mainstay of I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and The News Quiz, and one of the funniest people around, has died of cancer aged 57. Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved him.”
‘Pointless’ co-host Richard Osman paid tribute to the late comedian, praising him as “naturally and brilliantly funny”.
He tweeted: “I was very lucky to work with Jeremy Hardy early in my career. Every day was a masterclass, a privilege. He was so naturally and brilliantly funny, and a man who chose to use his comedy to change the world, rather than to fill stadia. A very sad day. #RIPJeremy (sic)”
Comedienne Angela Barnes wrote: “Utterly heartbroken to have to say goodbye to Jeremy Hardy. He was so very kind and supportive of me, I’ve had so many laughs sat next to him on the News Quiz and even more in the pub afterwards. So much love and strength to his family. Night Jeremy, cheers for the laughs xxx (sic)”

Jason Gardiner says Gemma Collins is overshadowing talented Dancing On Ice stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Gardiner has taken another swipe at Gemma Collins insisting she “really is not that good” on ‘Dancing On Ice’ and her behaviour is overshadowing the better skaters on the show.
The 53-year-old judge has been feuding with Gemma, 37, ever since they had a furious bust-up on air a couple of weeks ago when the ‘TOWIE’ star accused the dance expert of “selling stories” on her.
Their war of words has rumbled on ever since and Jason is sick of The GC dominating the ITV programme because her skating is not up to scratch and he would rather the focus was on the stars who are committed to doing well on the rink.
Appearing on the ‘Jeremy Vine’ current affairs chat show on Channel 5, he said: “It’s annoying. We’ve got an amazing line up this year and have people who are so good on the show, and it seems to be all we ever talk about is one particular contestant who really isn’t that good on the show as a competitor in terms of what she is physically able to do on the ice.”
When asked by Jeremy if she was overshadowing other contestants, he replied: ” Yes, I think unfairly so. We’ve got Melody [Thornton], Wes [Nelson], quite a few who are starting to breakaway and commit, and they’re brilliant…”
Jason also admitted that it was a “surreal” moment when Gemma made her outburst live on air and made her completely unfounded accusations after he gave an honest interview questioning her commitment to the programme, branding her “lazy”.
Speaking about their on air bust-up, he said: “It was surreal. I have a bad day at the office and it’s in front of millions of people. It was an outrageous allegation. It was ridiculous it was even brought up on a family show like that.”
Jason also confirmed that he and Gemma – who fell on the ice during her routine with her partner Matt Evers on last week’s show – have been kept apart behind the scenes on the show since their row.

The Batman given a 2021 release date

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ has been given a 2021 release date.
The 52-year-old American filmmaker is writing and directing the upcoming DC flick, which was officially announced by Warner Bros to be released on June 25, 2021, and sources have revealed that studio bosses have been ecstatic with Reeves’ drafts so far.
The studio is currently waiting on the final version to cast the role of the Caped Crusader, according to Variety.
Confirmation of the movie’s release date follows the announcement that Ben Affleck is stepping down as Batman.
The 46-year-old actor portrayed Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne in 2016’s ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and 2017’s ‘Justice League’ – but has confirmed he won’t be involved in Reeves’ standalone movie, which will focus on a younger version of the comic book legend.
Ben tweeted: “Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life. (sic)”
Ben had initially been attached to both star in and direct ‘The Batman’, but opted to step down from his role behind the camera in 2017.
However, he insisted at the time that giving up directing didn’t mean he wouldn’t be playing the character either.
He previously said: “Let me be clear. I’m the luckiest guy. Batman is the coolest f**king part in any universe, DC, Marvel.
“I am so thrilled to do it. I know there’s this misconception that because I’m not directing it, that maybe I wasn’t enthusiastic about it. It’s f**king amazing! I still can’t believe it after two films.”
And at the time, the ‘Argo’ filmmaker vowed to do anything for his replacement director.
He added: “Matt Reeves, doing it, I would be an ape on the ground for Matt Reeves, never mind be Batman. It’s incredible! I’m really blown away and excited. It’s a great time in the DC universe … and you can see why I am so excited to play Batman.”
Meanwhile, Matt recently insisted his take on the franchise wouldn’t be an origin tale.
He said: “Obviously, we’re not doing an origin tale or anything like that.
“We’re doing a story that is definitively Batman though, and trying to tell a story that’s emotional and yet is really about him being the world’s greatest detective and all the things that, for me, since I was a kid, made me love Batman.”

Brie Larson is set to star in Netflix’s Lady Business

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson is set to star in Netflix’s ‘Lady Business’.
The 29-year-old actress – who will soon make her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain Marvel – has signed a two-film deal with streaming giant Netflix to feature in, and potentially direct, the upcoming comedy.
‘Lady Business’ is based on the 2017 Fast Company article by John Paul Titlow about two young female entrepreneurs, Penelope Gazin and Kate Dwyer.
Brie is also set to make her directorial debut through Netflix with ‘Unicorn Store’, which features an all-star cast including herself, Joan Cusack, Bradley Whitford, Mamoudou Athie, Hamish Linklater, and Samuel L. Jackson.
The highly-anticipated film – which was written by Samantha McIntyre – tells the story of a woman who is forced to move back in with her parents and then receives a strange invitation to a store, which will then test her idea of what it really means to grow up.
In addition to her directing duties, Brie will also produce the project alongside David Berna, Ruben Fleischer, Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis and Terry Douglas.
Kasidokostas-Latsis and Douglas’ Rhea Films, with their Hercules Film Fund, will provide the financing for the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

James Cameron reveals how fatherhood inspired Alita: Battle Angel

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cameron’s own experience of fatherhood inspired him to make ‘Alita: Battle Angel’.
The 64-year-old filmmaker – who has daughters Josephine, 25, Claire, 17, Quinn, 15, and Elizabeth, 12 – produced the new cyberpunk action film, and he’s admitted to being inspired by his own real-life experiences.
Speaking at the movie’s world premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Thursday night (31.01.19), James explained: “I fell in love with the character – and we were lucky enough to get Rosa Salazar to play her.
“And I think she just comes off the screen – she’s somebody whose journey you want to go on.
“When I acquired the material, my daughter at the time was seven or eight and I was looking ahead – you know, she was my eldest – I was looking ahead to what it’s going to be like to raise a teenager … a young girl coming into womanhood in this world. You know, it’s stacked against women.”
James admitted he was determined to explore the theme of “female empowerment” in ‘Alita: Battle Angel’, which is based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga ‘Gunnm’.
Speaking about the themes of the film – which also stars Christoph Waltz, Ed Skrein and Jennifer Connelly – James told HeyUGuys: “I wanted to do something that was about female empowerment – that was about gaining confidence and gaining strength and finding your place in the world – and that’s what the film is about, ultimately.”

Sam Smith gets ‘depressed’ on tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith gets “depressed” on tour.
The ‘Dancing with a Stranger’ hitmaker was hit hard by the pain of his break-up from ’13 Reasons Why’ actor Brandon Flynn last June, after eight months of dating, and has admitted he feels his lowest when he’s on the road.
He said: “Being on tour is a bit of a crazy experience, I get really low sometimes on tour.
“I feel like I sound so depressing all the time when I talk about it, but I get depressed on tour.
“I think it’s the responsibly and pressure that makes me struggle.”
The ‘Promises’ singer also confessed that he can’t bare to see couples being romantic and gushy with one another when he’s single, and admitted that he gets jealous of other people’s relationships.
Speaking on Will Young’s ‘Homo Sapiens’ podcast, he admitted: “I’ve just gone through a break-up so I’m not in the mood for romance.
“When I see couples I just want to poke their eyes.
“It’s hard to be happy for other people when you feel so “s***.”
Despite struggling with the end of their relationship, Sam still thinks the world of his ex-boyfriend.
He said previously: “Brandon was wonderful.
“I’m still trying to figure out what I took from that relationship and what it meant to me. It’s still quite raw. All my relationships have ended in a nice way, never nasty.”
The ‘Stay With Me’ hitmaker doesn’t use dating apps as he’d rather meet people “out and about”, but at the moment, he’s happy to be single and focus on his work.
He said: “Right now, the thought of getting into a relationship is too much. I just want to marry my job, work really hard and hopefully, when I’m not looking for [love], it will come.”
But when he is dating, the 26-year-old star is a hopeless romantic.
He admitted: “I love sending flowers, leaving notes around the house and making thoughtful presents. I feel like I’m in a Richard Curtis film all the time. Which is bad, because I think everything should be like a movie and I get anxiety when it’s not.”

Christina Aguilera ‘had to step down’ from The Voice

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera “had to” step down from ‘The Voice’.
The 37-year-old singer – who starred as a judge on the talent show between 2011 and 2016 – decided to walk away from the NBC programme after becoming disgruntled with some of the behind-the-scenes goings on.
The ‘Beautiful’ says she wasn’t willing to carry on with the show and let certain things slide, but admitted it was a real “learning curve”.
Appearing on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’, she said: “Well I can’t knock it, I mean it was an experience in my life and I think everything has a learning curve and something to be experienced.
“I think that I did what I could with the position I was given and I have to keep it real on a certain level.
“I’m just, you know, I’m not a passive girl that’s just gonna sit there and be okay with certain things.”
The show’s host then asked whether she was happy with the experience she had, and Christina replied: “Well – That’s a very complicated answer, but I just saw some ins and outs and inner workings that I was not happy.”
The ‘Candyman’ says that being on the show made her realise that her music career is where she should be focusing her energy.
She concluded: “For me, I just know I needed to step away and get back to what I know that I love to do and how I could best give to the world in my own way.”
The ‘Dirrty’ hitmaker previously said she was a big fan of the blind audition phase of the show, because she felt it was more meritocratic.
However, the chart-topping star ultimately decided to quit the program because she was unhappy with the general working environment, saying it was something “no one would want to put up with” on a daily basis.
She shared: “The blind audition idea was really intriguing to me because it was an opportunity for anyone to get on stage and be discovered, regardless of how they looked.
“I also saw blatant things that I did not think were OK and that I am sure no one would want to put up with in the work environment. It was important for me to step away.”

Jessica Biel’s sweet tribute to husband Justin Timberlake

OHMYGOSSIP —
Jessica Biel says she is “the luckiest human” to be married to Justin Timberlake.
The 36-year-old actress – who has three-year-old son Silas with the ‘Suits & Tie’ hitmaker – marked her spouse’s 38th birthday (31.01.19) by posting a throwback picture of the couple underwater on Instagram, and admitted she doesn’t mind having “smile lines”, which she quipped are caused by her husband’s jokes, because he fills her with so much “joy and laughter”.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: “Since the days of embarrassing pink ruffled bikinis and underwater photo shoots, you have been infusing my life with so much joy and laughter that I blame YOU for my smile lines.
“But I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I wear them with pride knowing that I am the luckiest human around to have the honor of hearing your jokes, your words, your voice, ever day of my life. (sic)”
Justin spent his birthday performing at Madison Square Gardens in New York, for his rescheduled ‘Man of the Woods Tour’ date – which he was forced to pull out of after damaging his vocal chords.
The night before his birthday, Justin shared a video of Jessica asleep and jokingly sang happy birthday to himself.
She then woke up and laughed: “I’m just preparing for our big night out. Just preparing.”
He captioned the humorous clip: “Gotta work tomorrow for my bday so wifey really going all out tonight.”
Earlier this month, the ‘Total Recall’ star heaped praise on the ‘Say Something’ hitmaker – who she tied the knot with in 2012 – for keeping their family together.
She said: “We’re constantly reading each other’s lines for auditions but honestly, this man held my family together.
“He held our family together. Without you, I would probably be divorced and sad and pitiful. I really do appreciate it is all I’m saying.”

Jennifer Connelly: David Bowie became a real hero of mine

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Connelly says David Bowie “became a real hero” of hers after they did ‘Labyrinth’ together.
The 48-year-old actress shot to fame starring in Jim Henson’s 1986 cult classic alongside the late music legend – in which she played Sarah, a teenager on a quest to rescue her brother Toby from the world of goblins – but she didn’t realise until after they shot the movie just how “cool” it was to work with the ‘Starman’ hitmaker, as she was only a teenager at the time.
During her appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ on Friday (01.02.19), the former child model admitted: “I wasn’t cool enough to get what working with him really meant.
“It was probably a good thing that I wasn’t.
“After working with him, he became a real hero of mine because he was so kind to me – I was a 14-year-old kid and knew nothing.”
The ‘Hulk’ star says Bowie – who died in January 2016, at the age of 69, following a secret battle with cancer – was “funny” and “gracious” on set and ever since they worked together she has loved his music.
She added: “He was funny and gracious and made me feel so comfortable. He was amazing. Subsequently I became a huge fan of his music.”
Jennifer’s next role sees her portray Chiren in ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ and she confessed she’s only just got around to watching the film back – but teased it’s “extraordinary” and praised the team for transforming it with technology.
She said: “I only saw the movie a couple of days ago and it is pretty epic. It’s really impressive. With a movie like that we do the things we have to do and then we leave and a year later you see a film that has had so much work put into it.
“It’s extraordinary what they can do with technology and it blew me away.”
‘The Graham Norton Show’ airs on BBC One tonight (01.02.19) from 10.35pm.

Christina Aguilera announces Vegas residency

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera has confirmed she’s landed a Las Vegas residency.
The 38-year-old singer’s 16-date ‘Christina Aguilera: The Xperience’ will kick off inside the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood on May 31 and the ‘Stripped’ hitmaker revealed she is creating a multi-sensory show with elements of “mother nature”.
Speaking to Billboard, she said: “This is the next chapter in something new, exciting, creative and epic for my fans.
“I’m such a visual person and I’ve been acquiring all these inspirations. You know I love a theme and a concept and I’m creating a specific world for this show.
“[We are] playing with elements of Mother Nature and visual effects. I’m excited where that takes us. I always like to get what they’re feeling and thinking. We’re going to touch on a little bit of everything and make that into an amazing experience– which is the title of the show.”
The ‘Back to Basics’ hitmaker- who has son Max, 10, with first husband Jordan Bratman and three-year-old Summer with partner Matthew Rutler – wrapped her hugely-successful ‘Liberation’ tour in November, and the experience of getting back on the road has inspired her new residency, which will run throughout the year.
She added: “‘Liberation’ was such a success for me. The last time I had been on tour was when I was pregnant with my son [2007’s Back to Basics]. And being such a mama bear and wanting to take care of my kids and all of that first it was a long time coming.
“I want[ed] to get back to my fans and definitely [get] back to what my soul needed to do.
“To be on that stage has always been my first love since I was a tiny little girl. The whole point of ‘Liberation’ was getting back in touch with myself, finding that love, being in my artist body again, finding my true self and identity on stage again. It was just like coming home. And I want to take that to Las Vegas.”
The blonde beauty also admitted that her children love the experience of being on tour with her because it’s “in their blood”.
Opening up about taking her children with her on tour, she said: “Now it’s in their blood. It worked out perfectly. They would get mad at me sometimes if they weren’t able to come on stage. It was a family affair by the end. It was a heartwarming, loving experience and I was, like, ‘okay, I need to do more of this’ and expand on it and allow more fans and more audience members to enjoy what this is all about.”
Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Saturday (02.02.19).

James McAvoy’s work keeps him grounded

OHMYGOSSIP — James McAvoy insists being an actor prevents any sense of ego.
The ‘Glass’ actor admitted nothing brings him down to earth more than when he puts in a passionate performance, only for the director to call cut and for him to realise no one on set was paying him much attention.
He told Men’s Journal magazine: “Sometimes, when I’m acting on set, I feel like I bare my soul and f***ing reveal the deepest darkest truths of my upbringing, and I do what I think should be a nominated performance, and then they shout ‘cut,’ and I’m like, ‘Uh?’
“You look at the crew, and everybody’s picking their nose or scratching their balls at that moment.”
The 39-year-old actor – who has eight-year-old son Brendan with ex-wife Anne-Marie Duff – insists he doesn’t do anything to “deserve” attention and he believes on photoshoots he is just treated like a “flighty horse” because people are determined to get as much out of him as possible.
He said: “I mean, everything gets normalised after a while.
“But what you’ve got to do as it’s getting normalised is to remember that everybody just has their role to play.
“And even though I was the focal point this morning, that’s just my role. It’s not like I deserve it.
“And by the way, nobody else who was there is f***ing thinking to themselves: ‘Wow, what a guy!’
“It’s just because they’ve got you for such a small length of time.
“I think they think of you as sort of a flighty horse, almost. If you don’t treat it with f***ing kid gloves, it’s going to buck and run away and you’ll never tame it.
“Because they’ve got a very finite amount of time to get a lot of content out of you. There’s a lot of internet to be filled up. Do you know what I mean?”

Ciara: ‘Motherhood made me feel confident’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ciara credits motherhood for making her “feel even more confident”.
The 33-year-old singer has four-year-old son Future Zahir from her relationship with ‘The Wizrd’ rapper, Future, and 21-month-old Sienna with her NFL quarterback husband, Russell Wilson, and now the star has revealed she is more “fearless” than ever since becoming a mother of two.
Speaking in February’s issue of Vogue Arabia, Ciara said: “Being a mother of two made me feel even more confident, inspired, and fearless. Motherhood definitely gives you a new conscience.”
The ‘Level Up’ hitmaker is set to release her highly-anticipated seventh studio album and has confessed it is on of her “best works ever”, however Ciara admitted that the best thing about her upcoming project is getting to “connect” with her fans.
She added: “I’m super excited and my vision for this project is to inject love into the world with dance. What you feel when you are on stage, fully connected to your fans, is absolutely indescribable.”
The Grammy-winning artist has graced this month’s cover of Vogue Arabia – which has been shot by the legendary fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco – and the editor-in-chief, Manuel Arnaut admitted the star was a “refreshing surprise”.
He admitted: “Getting to know Ciara, who I’ve been listening to since I was a teenager, was a refreshing surprise. Unlike many stars of her calibre, she is an absolute pleasure to work with, proving that even with millions of fans and album sales, you can keep your feet on the ground.”

Maroon 5’s Super Bowl donation

OHMYGOSSIP — Maroon 5 are marking their Super Bowl half-time show with a $500,000 charity donation.
The ‘Moves Like Jagger’ hitmakers have joined forces with the NFL and Interscope records to make the hefty contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America ahead of their performance at the flagship football game on Sunday (03.02.19).
Frontman Adam Levine told People magazine in a statement: “Playing the Super Bowl has been a dream of our band for a long time.
“We thank the NFL for the opportunity and also to them, along with Interscope Records, for making this donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters, which will have a major impact for children across the country.”
The donation is part of the NFL’s #InspireChange social justice campaign, a commitment to help create positive changes for young people in communities across the US.
And Maroon 5’s contribution comes two weeks after fellow half time performer Travis Scott revealed he had signed up for the show on the condition the NFL would join him in donating to Dream Corps, a non-profit organisation that champions social justice.
He previously said: “I back anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in.
“I know being an artist that it’s in my power to inspire. So before confirming the Super Bowl half-time performance, I made sure to partner with the NFL on this important donation.
“I am proud to support Dream Corps and the work they do that will hopefully inspire and promote change.”
Rapper Big Boi will also join Maroon 5 and Travis for the half-time show, which has been shrouded in controversy due to the #TakeAKnee movement to protest racial inequality.

Charlie Lawson play anxiety

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Lawson believed he was suffering a “breakdown” in the build-up to starring in ‘Rebus: Long Shadows’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who is best known for playing Jim McDonald on the ITV soap – starred in Ian Rankin’s play last year, and he says he became “physically and mentally exhausted” ahead of the opening night, on which he suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA), also known as a mini-stroke.
In an interview with Stephen Nolan for BBC Radio Ulster, he said: “I hadn’t been on stage for six or seven years, and you’ve got to scare the c**p out of yourself now and again and go back and do the stage, and this was guaranteed to be one hell of a scary time. But I was full of confidence.”
Despite his confidence, the build-up also saw the original director of the critically-acclaimed stage show, Roxana Silbert, withdraw due to personal circumstances, and Charlie claims “from day one it was obvious” that the new helmer wouldn’t have cast him.
Charlie said: “He didn’t say that, but it was fairly obvious. And anyway, there was no relationship.
“That started to eat me up a bit when I wasn’t working. It started to get into my soul a bit. I started not to sleep and I started to get very tired, and after three weeks’ rehearsal I was pretty much exhausted already. That brings on anxiety, and it brings on worry about the part and all the rest of it.”
Opening up about feeling vindicated after the show’s previews received rave reviews, he said: “It meant the world, my confidence came back, everything that I’d lost, because I was working on thin air – I had no courage, I had nothing. Actors are very vulnerable, and you are out there on your own in front of 1,100 people.
“I never thought I was. I thought I was indestructible, but the whole experience brought me to my knees.”
But in the days that followed, Charlie confessed he had to be taken to hospital by the company manager because he had struggled slept for weeks and believed he was “having a breakdown.”
He said: “I felt like I just wanted to go home and do a runner from the theatre like Stephen Fry did. I knew I was physically and mentally exhausted, and I immediately phoned [partner] Debbie and said, ‘You’ve got to get here’, I said, ‘I think I’m having a crisis, I think something’s going to happen here.’
“It has affected my emotional psyche. I consider that the way I was feeling mentally at the time I’m surprised that my brain didn’t just explode, so I’m lucky. All the scans show that my heart is brilliant, there’s no valve problem, there’s no clot, it was down to stress. I’m angry about it, because I know why it happened. But I’ll get over that.”

Gemma Collins has shed 2 stone on Dancing On Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins has lost two stone while competing on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 37-year-old TV star – who is skating alongside pro partner Matt Evers in the competition – has shed several pounds after asking for double training sessions, according to the ice skater.
Matt told The Sun Online: “Gemma has lost two stone. She’s incredible.
“She weighed herself last Thursday and came in and told us all the news on Saturday, saying, ‘It’s official. I’ve lost two stone.’
“She asked for double training sessions – she is on three hours on the ice. She gets there early and texts me saying, ‘Matt, where are you? I’m here.’ It’s a different person.
“The body confidence is definitely there.
“She says she feels stronger, she can feel her core strength as we have started including a few sit ups and squats to warm up now too.
“There’s an emotional transformation too, in all areas of her life.”
While the bubbly blonde has been congratulated for her weight loss, there have been recent concerns that her blood sugar levels may have fallen too low.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who stumbled during her routine with Matt on Sunday’s (27.01.19) live show – reportedly thinks she fell face-first onto the ice because she momentarily lost consciousness after her blood sugar levels plummeted.
A source said: “Gemma had been wired up to a heart monitor before she went on stage.
“She believes she blacked out while she was skating, which is what caused her to crash into the ice.
“She didn’t know what had happened when she got back up – her blood sugars were low and she didn’t feel right.
“She is determined to make the show on Sunday despite the injury and is telling her friends, ‘I ain’t giving up’.”
Gemma had previously admitted she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by the fall but couldn’t wait to get back onto the ice.

Stephanie Davis drank ‘three bottles of wine’ in the mornings

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis drank “three bottles of wine” in the mornings before her rehab stint.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star – who plays Sinead Shelby on the Channel 4 soap – has opened up about her previous alcohol issues, admitting she suffered regular panic attacks, anxiety and night terrors.
Speaking about her decision to go to rehab on Tuesday’s (29.01.19) episode of ‘Loose Women’, she said: “I think you can only really do it yourself. People were telling me for ages. I didn’t want to hear it. I gave up the fight. I did not want to do it every day.
“At the end I was drinking every day, a lot, probably three bottles of wine in the morning.
“I got told I had trauma and PTSD when I got to rehab. I was having panic attacks and anxiety. I was having night terrors. I was using it to go to sleep.
“I was in so much pain. I had to realise that blocked the pain for a while but then it starts to take and take and take.”
Stephanie, 25, confessed that her two-year-old son, Caben-Albi, who she shares with ex-partner Jeremy McConnell, was the reason she never gave up and decided to go to rehab.
She added: “I didn’t want to live. I wanted to die. I didn’t want to live anymore. I tried to kill myself.
“But when I thought about doing it again it was scary. I thought, ‘It’s not fair to leave him [Caben] without a mum and a dad.’
“It wasn’t out of choice. It’s an illness and I was broken. When I said I wanted to go to rehab my mum and auntie cried. They said ‘we’ve got our Steph back.’ ”
The brunette beauty started dating her ‘Hollyoaks’ co-star, Owen Warner, last month, and the pair have now moved in together.
