James Corden hints at Taylor Swift Carpool Karaoke

OHMYGOSSIP — Jame Corden has left Taylor Swift fans guessing over whether she is his next ‘Carpool Karaoke’ guest.
The ‘Late Late Show’ host took to Twitter earlier this week to jump on the “and it shows” meme bandwagon whilst cryptically teasing that his next guest on his popular segment – which sees famous faces jump in his Range Rover for a sing-a-long to their songs – on the show is a “Grammy winner”.
He wrote: “some of you have never had to harmonize with a grammy winner while driving and it shows (sic)”
A fan then added fuel to the speculation when they noticed that the font on the comedian’s ‘Late Late Show’ twitter profile had changed, commenting on his tweet: “Change your font and don’t know how to act, huh?”
He then wrote back “I beg your pardon” in the font from Taylor’s ‘Reputation’ album cover.
Both James and Taylor are in London at the moment, filming the movie adaptation of ‘Cats’ the musical, in which they play Bustopher Jones and Bombalurina respectively, which fans pointed out on the thread.
It wouldn’t be the first time the ‘Delicate’ singer has appeared on the British star’s show.
In 2017, James featured an hilarious sketch of him becoming the 29-year-old superstar’s backing dancer for the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert, after he was faced with dealing with the singer’s missing dancer in his pretend job as the general manager of The Forum venue in Los Angeles.
He then put on a crop top and fishnet top and got into place behind Taylor on stage.
However, he then proceeded to start adding his own vocals with his bizarre dance moves and the rest of the dancers ditched him.
James has been joined by many Grammy winners over the years on ‘Carpool’, including Sir Paul McCartney, Adele and Sam Smith.
He’s yet to confirm whether or not it is Taylor who will be joining him next or whether he was just going along the ‘End Game’ singer’s fans’ guesses.

Chloe wrote: “After a long 4 years on The only way is Essex, I’m happy to announce that I have decided to leave the show. My life isn’t in it anymore & I feel as if its the right time for me to move on to other things. I’ve had a wonderful time being part of the cast on the show & have made friends for life, I really Couldn’t of got through the last year without my Courtney & Chlo. Absolute true gems!
“Towie has brought me such amazing opportunities & I wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s taught me so much & made me who I am today. Thank you for everyone’s amazing support over the years & truly am very grateful. The best thing I’ve learnt in this crazy world, is to be strong & to follow your heart. So here we go (sic)”
Myles also took to social media to confirm his departure, admitting the programme “no longer fulfils” him, and that he wants to concentrate on his relationship with fellow ‘TOWIE’ star Kady McDermott away from the show’s “very toxic” and “negative” environment.
He wrote on Instagram: “After an eventful two years at TOWIE with many highs and lows I have taken the decision upon myself to leave TOWIE.
“When something no longer fulfils you, makes your grow as a person or even just makes you happy it’s best to leave it in the past.
“This year I am solely focusing on my career and my relationship with Kady as they are the most important things to me right now, and the show wasn’t benefiting either of them.
“As most of you will probably know TOWIE brought out a side to me I wasn’t always proud of, as much as I enjoyed my time on it I started to find it very toxic and negative environment for myself.
“I am the happiest I’ve been in a very long time and I would like to keep it that way by removing any negativity in my life.
“I’m going to use my social media so you can all get an insight of my life and the highlights and get to know the real me, and more importantly so I can control how my life is shown instead of it being in the hands of tv editors who are strangers to me.
“Thank you for all your support the last two years, I have grown a lot as a person and I will forever be thankful for the experience and the life lessons it taught me. (sic)”
Kady admitted Myles’ decision is the “best one” for them both.
She wrote: “So so proud and happy to have this one. He’s a true diamond and I’m so glad I get to know the real kind, amazing him. I will always respect his decisions he takes in life, and the one he took most recently is the best one for him/us. No toxicity, negativity or drama. 2019 our year (sic)”
While she didn’t confirm her own departure from the show, Kady has reportedly also left the programme, as have Jon and Chris Clark, Dean Ralph, Jordan Wright, and Adam Oukhellou, but the door is “always open” for them to return.
A source told The Sun Online: “‘TOWIE’ bosses have had their biggest ever casting drive so far in the show’s history.
“Casting producers have been hanging out in all the top Essex hotspots like Sheesh to find the next generation of stars.
“As a result there will be some departures. Jon, Chris, Dean, Jordan, Myles and Kady have been told that they won’t be returning next series, although the door is always left open.
“Some of the stars have been told they’re departing before but have then come back.”
A ‘TOWIE’ spokesman said: “Every series we review our cast to ensure we’re following the lives of those who are most interesting and willing to share their real lives and relationship highs and lows.
“A number of cast have been notified that they’re not being contracted for the start of series 24 as we look to bring in some fresh new faces, however we’ve always maintained that cast can return as and when the timing is right for them and the show.
“It’s how TOWIE has stayed so fresh and exciting for nearly a decade.
“We remain grateful to every single cast member that has featured in TOWIE and contributed to its huge success.”

Emily Atack is the new face of Walkers Crisps

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Atack is the new face of Walkers Crisps.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ runner-up has already filmed her first advert for the savoury treat brand alongside Gary Lineker – who has been promoting the company’s snacks since 1994, when he originally signed up in a deal worth £200,000 – at a mini football game in Shoreditch, London.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Eating crisps and getting paid for it is Emily’s dream gig.
“So when she was approached about working with Walkers she jumped at the chance.
“The adverts will see her chowing down on some of her favourite flavours with Gary and she’s really excited about getting started.”
Meanwhile, Emily recently revealed that ‘Celebrity Juice’ would be her “dream job”.
The blonde beauty was linked to the outrageous ITV panel show after news that team captain Fearne Cotton is stepping down, and she would definitely be interested.
She said: “There haven’t been any conversations that have happened yet officially, but I’d love that!
“I would love to. I know all those guys so well. I love [Lee Francis] – Keith Lemon – he’s just the best, one of my really good mates!
“I love [Holly Willoughby], I love Fearne, I love all of that group. That would be the dream job, wouldn’t it?”
‘The Inbetweeners’ actress was popular with viewers during her stint in the jungle, and she admitted it came at the right time after she and her family had a tough year.
She explained: “We had a very difficult time in the family coming up to this, so it was a really nice boost for us all. It’s been so hilarious for them all, stressful I think at times, but it’s given us all this blessing in our lives.”
Emily, 28, learned a lot about herself during her time on the reality show, and she recently revealed she would be deleting all of her photo editing apps after becoming more confident.
She said: “I’ve decided, on social media, I’m deleting all my editing apps.
“You can edit your pictures until you’re blue in the face, I used to slim them down, I used to airbrush them… it was so bad to the point that, you slim it down, but you get completely rumbled because the wall behind you is bent. I’m not doing that anymore.”

Woody Harrelson in talks for Fruit Loops

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Harrelson is in talks to appear in ‘Fruit Loops’.
The 57-year-old actor looks set to join forces with Ted Melfi, who wore the screenplay and will direct the motion picture for Fox 2000 and Chernin Entertainment.
According to Deadline, the movie is in the vein of 1975 comedy-drama classic ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ and was one of the biggest pitch deals of 2016 after Fox 2000’s Elizabeth Gabler signed the film for seven figures.
Melfi will team up with Chernin for a third time on the drama film.
While details about the plot and Harrelson’s potential character are yet to be confirmed, sources have told Collider that the script is about a group of psychiatric hospital patients who get together when their collection is threatened by a potential sale of the medical facility, Sunnyside.
Harrelson is said to be in talks for the role of Colonel Leonard F. Cubby, who is a life-long resident of the hospital and who suffers from PTSD due to his time in Vietnam, where he witnessed some tragic events.
Another character is expected to be a young heroin addict, the son of a rich politician.
Harrelson appeared as Beckett in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ last year, but the Hollywood actor recently admitted he was all set to reject the role until he found out Phoebe Waller-Bridge was in the movie.
Revealing he is a huge fan of his pal Phoebe’s BBC Three comedy series ‘Fleabag’, he said: “Oh god, I just love Phoebe.
“She is just such a delightful, fun and uplifting friend.
“A friend of mine told me about ‘Fleabag’ and I watched it all. I love it.
“Love it! There aren’t many episodes and I wish there were more.
“Luckily she is doing another season.
“I was really debating doing this film and, in fact, I actually turned it down at first because I had been on such a long string of work and I just wanted to be home with my family.
“Thankfully I ended up doing it because I now can’t imagine not knowing Phoebe.”

Johnny Flynn cast as David Bowie in new biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Flynn is set to portray David Bowie in a new biopic.
The 35-year-old South African-born musician-and-actor – who starred in the Netflix series ‘Lovesick’ and is known for his work on the British comedy ‘Detectorists – has been cast as the late music legend in the forthcoming movie ‘Stardust’.
The film will reportedly depict the ‘Starman’ hitmaker’s transformation into his alter-ego Ziggy Stardust and ‘Vanity Fair’ star Flynn will play Bowie on his first trip to America in 1971.
Star of ‘The Hunger Games’, Jena Malone, is to play Bowie’s first wife Angie and ‘Glow’ actor Marc Maron is set to play the music icon’s publicist.
Gabriel Range is set to direct, whilst Christopher Bell is penning the script for the movie, which is set to start filming in June.
According to Deadline, “a varied soundtrack from the era” will feature, plus “a small number of Bowie performances.”
However, Bowie’s son Duncan Jones – who is also movie director – has responded to the news of the film and insisted they won’t be granted permission to the rights of his father’s music.
The 47-year-old filmmaker – whose mother is Bowie’s first wife Angie – tweeted: “Pretty certain nobody has been granted music rights for ANY biopic… I would know.
“I’m not saying this movie is not happening. I honestly wouldn’t know. I’m saying that as it stands, this movie won’t have any of dads music in it, & I can’t imagine that changing.
“If you want to see a biopic without his music or the families blessing, that’s up to the audience. (sic)”
Danny Boyle previously attempted to release a Bowie biopic in 2015, but it was axed as the ‘Let’s Dance’ hitmaker didn’t allow his music to be used in his film.
Bowie – who married supermodel Iman in 1992, with whom he had 18-year-old daughter Alexandria – passed away on January 10, 2016, at the age of 69 after a secret battle with cancer.

KiKi Layne says If Beale Street Could Talk was a turning point

OHMYGOSSIP — KiKi Layne admits being cast in ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ was a turning point in her life.
The 27-year-old actress – who plays Clementine ‘Tish’ Rivers in the romantic-drama movie – moved from Chicago to Los Angeles to pursue her ambitions, but for two months, she struggled to secure the career-changing role she was searching for.
She shared: “It was really last-minute. I did not have the money to keep flying back and forth between Chicago and LA, so I just said to myself: ‘Girl, if you gonna go out there for that audition, you gonna stay.’
“So I just packed up and left, which is definitely not the best way to move across the country.”
KiKi also dismissed the notion that there was a certain romance in the scenario.
The actress admitted that being jobless was a bleak time in her life, revealing she was on the cusp of turning her back on Hollywood and returning home just prior to being cast in the film.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “[It is] until you’re there and you don’t have a home, and you’re sharing a twin-size bed with your best friend, and you don’t have a job.
“So it was a lot, those first couple of months, so much so that right before I submitted my tape for ‘Beale Street’, I was considering going home – and not home to Chicago but home to Cincinnati.”

Ariana Grande releases 2 Chainz remix of 7 Rings

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has released a version of ‘7 Rings’ featuring 2 Chainz.
The 25-year-old pop superstar dropped the remix of the track after fans of the rapper pointed out that she used the line “gee thanks, just bought it”, which is similar to 2 Chainz’s ‘Spend It’.
The ‘Side to Side’ singer was recently forced to apologise for the offence caused with the lyric.
The ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker insisted she never intended to offend anyone with her lyrics to the hit record.
Following the release of the track, one of Ariana’s fans sarcastically wrote on Instagram Stories: “White women talking about their weaves is how we’re gonna solve racism.”
Ariana shared the post with her followers, saying she had “so much love” for the fan responsible for the message.
Although Ariana subsequently decided to delete her post, the message was captured by The Shade Room, prompting a backlash against the singer.
But Ariana has now issued an apology, saying it was “never my attention to offend anybody”.
Parts of the singer’s latest track was also compared to Soulja Boy’s ‘Pretty Boy Swag’ and Princess Nokia’s ‘Mine’, with the latter hitting out at the ‘Imagine’ singer for the likeness in a since-delated video on social media.
Ariana is set to releases her new album ‘Thank U, Next’ on February 8.
Following the reveal of the track-listing for the record, the song that got her fans – who are known as Arianators – talking the most is the final track ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’.
Ariana isn’t afraid to talk about her past relationships after name-checking her exes, including ex-fiance Pete Davidson and late ex-boyfreind Mac Miller, on the album’s title track.
As well as the singles ‘Thank U, Next’, ‘Imagine’ and ‘7 Rings’, the album – which is the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Sweetener’ – features the song ‘Needy’, which Ariana perviously shared a snippet of on Twitter.
On the song, she sings: “I can be needy, tell me how good it feels to be needed.”
‘Bloodline’ is said to pay homage to the ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ hitmaker’s close family, including mom Joan Grande and her Nonna Marjorie.
The record was set to be 13 tracks long, but ‘Remember’, which was reportedly a tribute to rapper Mac, who tragically passed away in September at the age of 26, didn’t make the cut.
The song ‘In My Head’ is said to be about Ariana’s battle with anxiety.

James Cameron reveals how fatherhood inspired Alita: Battle Angel

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cameron’s own experience of fatherhood inspired him to make ‘Alita: Battle Angel’.
The 64-year-old filmmaker – who has daughters Josephine, 25, Claire, 17, Quinn, 15, and Elizabeth, 12 – produced the new cyberpunk action film, and he’s admitted to being inspired by his own real-life experiences.
Speaking at the movie’s world premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Thursday night (31.01.19), James explained: “I fell in love with the character – and we were lucky enough to get Rosa Salazar to play her.
“And I think she just comes off the screen – she’s somebody whose journey you want to go on.
“When I acquired the material, my daughter at the time was seven or eight and I was looking ahead – you know, she was my eldest – I was looking ahead to what it’s going to be like to raise a teenager … a young girl coming into womanhood in this world. You know, it’s stacked against women.”
James admitted he was determined to explore the theme of “female empowerment” in ‘Alita: Battle Angel’, which is based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga ‘Gunnm’.
Speaking about the themes of the film – which also stars Christoph Waltz, Ed Skrein and Jennifer Connelly – James told HeyUGuys: “I wanted to do something that was about female empowerment – that was about gaining confidence and gaining strength and finding your place in the world – and that’s what the film is about, ultimately.”

Roger Waters urged Maroon 5 to ‘take a knee’ during Super Bowl performance

OHMYGOSSIP — Roger Waters thinks Maroon 5 should “take a knee” during their Super Bowl Halftime show.
The ‘Moves Like Jagger’ band – who will be joined by special guests Travis Scott and Big Boi – have sparked fierce backlash for agreeing to perform at the game despite controversy surrounding the NFL due to protests over racial inequality.
In a statement, the Pink Floyd star said: “”My colleagues Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi are performing during the halftime show at the Super Bowl this coming Sunday, I call upon them to ‘take a knee’ on stage in full sight.
“I call upon them to do it in solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, to do it for every child shot to death on these mean streets, to do it for every bereaved mother and father and brother and sister.”
His comments come after former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Kaepernick started the movement by kneeling during the US National Anthem.
Now, Roger has urged Adam Levine and his bandmates to do the “right thing” when they take to the stage on February 3.
He added: “My mother used to say to me, ‘In any situation, there is nearly always a right thing to do, just do it.’
“So, there you go my brothers, you are faced with a choice, I’m not saying it will be easy, all the Presidents men, all the huffers and puffers, will be royally p***ed off, but, $#@%’em, I call upon you to do it because it’s the right thing to do and because somewhere inside you know it. (sic)”
His comments come as Adam defended the ‘She Will Be Loved’ group’s decision to perform at halftime during the game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.
He explained: “No one thought about it more than I did. No one put more thought and love into this than I did … I spoke to many people, most importantly though, I silenced all the noise and listened to myself, and made my decision about how I felt.”

Kirk Hammett: Metallica fans love our authenticity

OHMYGOSSIP — Kirk Hammett says Metallica fans admire them for being “authentic” and being able to play their instruments live.
The heavy metal group’s guitarist thinks the reason they have maintained their fanbase over the past three decades is because they have stayed loyal to their roots and are actually able to play their instruments, unlike many of the bands today, who try to emulate their sound, but make their music on computers.
Speaking to Cincinnati CityBeat, Kirk – who is joined by James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo in the band – said: “I think for right now, there’s a little bit of a vacuum [for] us and bands that sound like us.
“There are a lot of great new bands out there, but I think people yearn for something that they know is made in a real sense.
“I think there’s a bit of authenticity that comes with us that might not be attached to some of the more contemporary bands.
“We can be counted on to deliver in some form or another something that’s real and authentic and something that has integrity. I think that really means a lot to some people these days, when a lot of music is just kind of like made by pressing a button… “People can count on us showing up with our instruments and actually making music right there in the moment.
“And we deliver.
“Whatever you hear on our album, we can play live.
“I will not even try to count how many bands are incapable of that. I think that’s part of it.”
Kirk, 55 – says that the band – who released their 10th studio album ‘Metallica Hardwired… to Self-Destruct’ in 2016 – find it “more appealing” to player their “heavier” music at the moment.
He explained: “Certainly, with [2008’s] ‘Death Magnetic’, we learned that it was okay to embrace our past with sort of a revisionist approach.
“That’s what ‘Death Magnetic’ kind of started [as].
“To an extent, it’s continued with [‘Hardwired’], too. We like to play music from all of the different eras, and at this particular point in our lives, playing the heavier stuff just is appealing to us.
“It feels right to me and it feels right to the other guys in the band.”

The Channel 4 reality show – in which contestants compete in a host of winter sports, including a ski jump – was “rested” last winter and the break will continue in 2019, after numerous celebrities got injured while competing on the programme over its four series.
When asked if the show is returning, Channel 4 boss Ian Katz told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “You can never say never, but we’ve got no plans.”
Earlier this month, Beth Tweddle revealed she is suing ‘The Jump’ after a horror injury in 2016, in which she fractured two vertebrae, left her temporarily unable to walk.
The defendants involved have so far denied all liability for her injuries.
In a statement, she said: “It’s been a long journey and my recovery is still ongoing. I’m not sure I’ll ever be 100 per cent again.
“The effects of my accident still interrupt my daily life and, aside from the severe physical injuries at the start, the hardest part of the recovery process has been the psychological element – dealing with and processing the whole accident and the aftermath of what happened.”
The incident occurred during ski training for the reality show when the 33-year-old gymnast smashed into barriers while practicing a jump, resulting in her breaking her neck.
Similarly, Holby City’s Tina Hobley dislocated her elbow and suffered two fractures to her arm in 2016, and in 2017 cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins broke his leg.
