Kim Kardashian West on the importance of forgiveness

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has spoke of the importance of “forgiveness” in the wake of the Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson drama.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was said to be fuming with Khloe’s former partner when he cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods but it seems she is on the path of forgiving him now and she hopes he has learned a “lesson” from what happened.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I think there’s always a time and a place for everything and I think boundaries are good, lessons are good, forgiveness is good. It’s all good, but you really have to talk to the people that were more involved.”
Her comments come after it was previously claimed Kim was “so angry” for Khloe.
The insider shared: “Kim is the one who is really upset about this. She’s livid. She’s so angry, and she’s 100 percent on Khloé’s side. She’s there for Khloé, letting her vent and talk about it. They’ve been in constant contact, and Kim is totally supportive. Guys may come and go, but the bond between the girls is never going away, and they’re committed to supporting each other.”
Kim treated Khloe to a vacation so she could process what happened.
The source added: “Kim took Khloé to Palm Springs one night before the weekend so she could have a relaxing getaway. She’s doing okay … Her family continues to support her. Everyone is trying to cheer her up and be around to help. They all still talk a lot about what happened. Their opinion hasn’t changed – what happened between Tristan and Jordyn is inexcusable.”
Kim’s husband Kanye West has also been very protective.
They explained: “Kanye thinks of himself as the godfather in this family, and he has the mindset that if anyone messes with one of them, they mess with them all. So right now, Tristan and Jordyn are on his list. If he never talks to them again, it’s fine by him. He wasn’t close to them in the first place. He’s protective of the Kardashian women, all of them, and if anyone hurts them, he will always be their biggest advocate. He’s 100 per cent on Khloé’s side.”

David Attenborough says nature shows have climate change ‘responsibility’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Attenborough says nature shows have a “responsibility” in the battle against climate change.
The 92-year-old broadcaster has explained the important role documentary makers focused on natural history have in the modern world, and insisted his role has become much more than simply comment on all the “wonderful things” caught on film.
He told BBC Science Focus Magazine: “There’s a big responsibility that natural history filmmakers have.
“I’d love to spend the whole time saying: ‘Look at these wonderful things, aren’t they lovely?’ But you have a responsibility for pointing out that unless we change our ways, they’re not going to be here forever.”
Sir David – whose new Netflix series ‘Our Planet’ will launch on the streaming platform on Friday (05.04.19) admitted it is “naive” to suggest that changes will be made “overnight”, but he added it is something that can change over time.
He added: “It would be naive to think suddenly that you can say something and these enormously powerful men and organisations are going to change overnight. The world doesn’t work like that.
“But there are groundswells, there are these great sea changes that are difficult to plot, but they do happen. It’s up to us to bring that about.”
Meanwhile, Sir David – who has fronted BBC series like ‘Blue Planet’, ‘Planet Earth’ and ‘Dynasties’ in the past – previously insisted while he can’t help but be moved by the plight of some of the animals that he has filmed over the years, he has “never” shed a tear.
He said: “I’ve never cried while filming, but I suppose I cry more easily nowadays. Well, tears don’t pour down my cheeks, but I blinked hard on November 11.”

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly earn £12k a day

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly earned £12,000 a day last year, despite Ant spending some of it in rehab.
The presenting duo raked in the impressive amount during the last 12 months even though Ant took time out to focus on his sobriety after a drink driving conviction.
Documents filed for Hurley Promotions Ltd., the company owned by the duo, show their profits were £4.4 million in the last year, which works out to the impressive sum. Figures obtained by The Sun newspaper reveal they made £85,000 a week.
Ant and Dec are set to return to viewers’ screens for the new series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and one of the show’s judges David Walliams admit he felt “really emotional” by the reunion.
He said: “It was lovely to see when they stepped back on the stage together in London how excited people were to see them together. It was really emotional and I was pleased for them. It was just how it always was … Ant and Dec are really nice blokes and they are ‘what you see is what you get’ type of people. It’s not like they have a persona that’s different to how they are on TV, that’s why people love them so much, they’re just so natural and themselves. It was nice being back together. I love being around those two. Obviously, I don’t get to do so much with them because we’re on the judges’ table, but I feel a kinship with them because, well, one is I’ve known them for about 25 years because I started off writing for them.”
And fellow judge Alesha Dixon added: “It’s been like getting the family back together, it just feels normal. We’ve been working together for so long now that when we’re together it just feels right. I think it’s because they have a genuine friendship and they are exactly the same off camera as they are on camera.”

Susan Sarandon signs up for Bad Moms’ Moms

OHMYGOSSIP — Susan Sarandon has signed up to ‘Bad Moms’ Moms’.
The 72-year-old actress will reprise her role in the spin-off of the 2017 comedy movie, ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’, and the new film is set to focus on the mothers of the original moms in the film.
Christine Baranski and Cheryl Hines will also take on their roles once more in the upcoming sequel, with STX Films making the exciting announcement at CinemaCon.
STX Films chairman Adam Fogelson said the movie was “a whole new adventure that is attracting all sorts of great talent”.
The first instalment of ‘Bad Moms’ was released in 2016, with Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn as its lead stars. It is not known whether the trio will return for the new movie but Kristen previously insisted she found working on ‘Bad Moms’ a “treat”.
She said: “We so are [still friends]. It was such a treat because we did bring our kids some days, but other days we just hung out on set as girlfriends, which was sort of the theme of the movie, to remember that you are an autonomous female who needs female friendships, or any friendships … We all had kids of different ages, all six of us that were in the movie, so we shared advice at all times. It takes a village, and previously we lived in the same house or cave as our village. Now, we’re all separated into different households, so it’s important to stay in communication and help each other: ‘Hey, how did you deal with this issue? What did you do when your kids weren’t sleeping? What did you do when your kids wouldn’t eat healthy foods?'”

Dave Bautista wanted Disney to cut his contract over James Gunn sacking

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista would have asked to get out of his contract if James Gunn hadn’t returned for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’.
The actor has been very vocal in his public support of the filmmaker – who was fired by Disney over summer last year after offensive tweets posted between 2008 and 2012 resurfaced before being reinstated as director last month – and he has revealed how passionately he felt about the decision.
He told Variety: “I am contractually obligated [to do the third movie], but I think that Marvel and Disney – if I had really stood my ground and said, ‘I don’t want to do this without James’ – I think that they are decent enough that they would’ve let me out of my contract.”
Before the announcement that Gunn would return at the helm of the third film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies series, Bautista – who plays Drax the Destroyer – had threatened to quit the project if Disney didn’t use the director’s original script.
Opening up on his public criticism of the studio’s original reaction, he explained: “I just spoke my mind and was honest about the way I felt about it. I thought he was given a raw deal. I thought it was a bad call, bad decision.”
And he heaped praise on the “beautiful script” Gunn has written for the third movie, and said it would’ve been a “real personal issue” to make the movie without the whole team together.
He said: “I wanted to bring it home. These guys are like family to me and I wanted to be involved in the third one. I wanted to use James’ script because it’s a beautiful script. Moving forward without James was a real personal issue with me.”

Kelly Clarkson’s daughter gets ‘really bored’ with her mum’s singing

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson’s daughter said she was “really bored” with her mum’s singing.
The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker revealed her four-year-old daughter River Rose has offered a particularly brutal critique of her mother’s talents after hearing her rehearsing, and the star admitted her kids aren’t “impressed” by her career.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight, she said: “They do not care anymore. They’re not impressed.
“I wasn’t singing full out because it’s, like, three days in a row and then we have four days in a row for the show, so I was holding back.
“She was like, ‘Mommy, you know when you’re on stage and you were singing?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, baby.’ I was thinking like a compliment was about to come. She was like, ‘Yeah, I was really bored.’ ”
While Kelly – who shares River and two-year-old son Remington with husband Brandon Blackstock, and is stepmother to Savannah and Seth from his previous relationship – laughed off the harsh critique, she admitted her family do see her perform a lot.
She added: “I was like, ‘Oh. Damn. … Well, that was sweet honey. Maybe don’t tell people that when they get off stage’. But they don’t care, they’re over it. They see it all the time.”
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old singer will be making a move into television in September with the launch of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, and she hopes the series will “bring people together”.
She previously said: “I want to focus a lot on togetherness and bringing people back together again. I feel like it’s been a really rough couple of years, regardless of what you believe and whatever side you’re on.”

Brandon Flowers: The Killers are building up an ‘inventory’ of songs

OHMYGOSSIP — Brandon Flowers and The Killers are building up an “inventory” of songs.
The 37-year-old singer and his American rock band have been busy in the studio “for a few months” and have a whole list of new music that could feature on their new album, which they are producing at the rate of one a week.
He said: “Yeah, we’ve been at it for a few months. The idea is to try and get something that we’re excited about – maybe about song one a week. So far, we’ve hit that target and the list is growing. We’ll take inventory here soon and see what we’ve got.”
And the ‘Mr. Brightside’ hitmaker says the band are experimenting with different genres of music and sounds on this new album.
Asked if they were experimenting with new sounds, he added: “Yeah, we’ve been in Utah doing it. That’s where I fell in love with music for the first time; so it’s interesting to be there again and hear some of that music with the geography matching the sensation. Some of that stuff is starting to resurface and a lot of that had to do with synthesiser music. It’s always been part of our DNA but it’s definitely creeping up.”
And Brandon has no plans to make their new material as politically charged as ‘Land of the Free’ was because he wanted to make a “specific” statement with that music.
He told NME magazine: “No, that was a very specific thing that I wanted to get across. I’m really happy with how it turned out. It was a really obvious statement that I was making. It’s very rare that you have something that you feel that strongly about and get across in a few minutes. You’re allowed to be more vague when it comes to a regular pop song or whatever it is that you’re trying to tackle. I definitely wasn’t trying to leave much to the imagination with that song.”

Dame Helen Mirren slams Netflix

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Helen Mirren declared “f**k Netflix” at CinemaCon.
The 73-year-old actress made an appearance at the annual convention for movie exhibitors in Las Vegas on Tuesday (02.04.19), where she called for people to continue watching movies in the cinema, rather than relying on the streaming service.
Taking to the stage to present her new movie ‘The Good Liar’, she said: “I love Netflix, but f**k Netflix!
“There is nothing like sitting in the cinema and the lights go down. I would like to thank you guys for making that environment possible.”
Helen recently admitted she has a “secret ambition” to be cast in a James Bond movie as one of the villains.
She said: “[Woman] get to play much cooler villains these days. But I’ve always had a secret ambition to play a villain in a James Bond movie.”
Asked whether she might try to further her case for a role in a Bond film, Helen said: “I’m not very proactive in that way. James Bond is such a well-oiled machine. It’s hard to put a spoke in that wheel.”
And the ‘Leisure Seeker’ actress claimed she had to “beg” for her roles in action movies ‘Red’ and ‘Fast & Furious 8’ because they were such a departure from the dramatic work she is best known for.
She said of the movies: “It was a little hankering definitely. Absolutely it was.
“I begged. I put it out there and then I begged. That was one of the wonderful advantages of winning an Oscar. I got to be in action movies!
“Because they love having Oscar winners in their action movies. They want to bring you down.”

Kerry Katona admits to earning ‘£500 a night’ as exotic dancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona earned “£500 a night” as an exotic dancer.
The former Atomic Kitten singer can’t understand why Cardi B recently confessed to drugging and robbing men “to survive” in her stripping days because her own background was so profitable, thanks to her “great set of t*ts”.
Writing for her column in new! magazine, she said: “I was astounded when Cardi B admitted shed drugged and robbed men ‘in her stripping days in order to survive’.
“Why would she brag about that? I don’t get how putting someone else’s life at risk is surviving.
“I used to be a lap dancer aged 17 when I was starting out in Atomic Kitten. I only did it for three weeks – I quit when the Kittens took off – but I could make up to £500 a night.
“I had a great set of t*ts, so there was no need for me to drug or rob anyone to get cash.”
Cardi recently admitted she is “not proud” of the things she did to survive when she was a stripper, after an old Instagram Live post about her drugging and robbing men resurfaced.
In a lengthy statement posted to Instagram, she wrote: “I’m seeing on social media that a live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a better living.
“I never claim to be a perfect or come from a perfect world wit a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my s**t.
“I’m a part of a hip-hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are.
“There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it.
“I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options.
“I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not. Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.(sic)”

Courtney Stodden still loves Doug Hutchison

OHMYGOSSIP — Courtney Stodden still loves Doug Hutchison “so much”.
The 24-year-old reality star filed for divorce in March 2018 – 14 months after splitting from the 58-year-old actor – but she’s still “regularly in touch” with the ‘Green Mile’ star and thinks he’ll always be a part of her.
Courtney – who was just 16 when she wed Doug – said: “I know that I love him so much, and I think he’s also ingrained in me because I was 16. He has his thumbprint all over my spirit, and that part is hard for me to grow out of. He’s in my identity.
“If he wasn’t the person he is, I would say absolutely he took advantage of me. But the situation was so unique, right or wrong.”
And while Courtney is now in a relationship with Chris Sheng, 39, she admitted she is still unsure whether she is “meant to be” with Doug and she regularly fights with her partner over her estranged husband.
She said: “I jumped from Doug to him… We fight over Doug.
“Poor Chris. He thought he was going to get in a relationship with this hot young celebrity who’s all sexual and fun.
“He gets in there and I don’t have sex, I’m a mess, and I’m crazy.”
The blonde beauty is no longer in touch with her dad and she admitted one of the reasons why she is attracted to older men is her need for a “father figure”.
She told Buzzfeed: “I think [my dad] wants me to be a totally different person. I had a really bad night one night, it got really dark because I deal with depression, and it got really bad and I was frantically texting him. He didn’t write me back. But other guys do, right? Other daddies do.
“I felt like I needed a father figure in my life. It stems a lot from that relationship. It’s obvious, though. You can google me and figure it out.”
But Courtney is determined now not to live her life seeking approval from men.
She said: “I’m so ready to not live for men anymore. That’s primarily what’s held me captive, is finding that approval from my father and men.
“Now that I’m an adult, I realise I’m not just a body. I’m a human being. I’m a good woman…I’m trying to turn a new leaf. I’m coming to the surface. Me. No one else.”

Justin Bieber apologises for offending people with pregnancy prank

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber has apologised for offending people with his pregnancy prank on April Fools’ Day.
The ‘As Long As You Love Me’ hitmaker insisted he didn’t meant to be “insensitive to people” with his prank that his wife Hailey Bieber was expecting a baby after he faced backlash on social media.
He wrote on Instagram: “There’s always gonna be people offended, there’s also people who don’t take jokes very well, I am a prankster and it was APRIL FOOLS. I didn’t at all mean to be insensitive to people who can’t have children. A lot of people I know, their first go to prank on April fools is telling their parents they are pregnant to get a big reaction.
“But I will apologise anyway and take responsibility and say sorry to people who were offended. I truly don’t want anyone to be hurt by a prank.. it’s like when I shoved cake in my little sisters face for her birthday expecting her to laugh but she cried. You sometimes just don’t know what will hurt someone’s feelings not to compare pregnancy with cake in the face but it’s just to paint the picture of not knowing what will offend. Some might have laughed but some were offended .. I think With pranks u sometimes have to roll that dice. #prankster #dennisthemenace #sorry #truly (sic)”
Justin posted an image of a sonogram on his feed on April 1, but many weren’t buying the fact given the date. But just a few minutes later, the 25-year-old star made the whole thing a lot more convincing by posting pictures of his wife Hailey appearing to be having some sort of scam.
He captioned the set of pictures: “If U thought it was April fools (sic)”
However, he later posted up a new sonogram, with a dog photoshopped in the centre and wrote: “Wait omg is that a,,, APRIL FOOLS (sic)”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Akira to start shooting

OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio’s live-action version of ‘Akira’ is to be filmed in California.
The film, based on the Manga series written and illustrated by Katsuhiro Otama, will soon begin shooting in the US state after scoring $18.5 million in tax credits under the California Film Commission’s Film & TV Tax Credit Program 2.0.
The shoot is scheduled to take place over 71 days and, according to Deadline, will employ more than 200 “below-the-line” crew and more than 5,000 employees.
‘Thor: Ragnarok’ director Taika Waititi remains attached to helm the film, which takes place in Tokyo in the year 2060 and follows Tetsuo and his best friend Kaneda after Tetsuo’s government experiment-boosted psychic powers threaten both of their lives.
Ravi Mehta, Warner Bros Pictures EVP of physical production and finance, said in a statement: “We are thrilled with the opportunity to shoot ‘Akira’ in California. The availability of top-notch crew members, plus the wide variety of location choices and predictable weather are second to none.”
The movie is one of 18 other films that will receive the tax benefits under the condition filming takes place in California and the picture will be produced by Leonardo’s Appian Way Productions that he founded in 2004 alongside Andrew Lazar.
California Film Commission executive director Amy Lemisch added: “Big-budget film projects bring big employment and big spending, and we’re able to bring them home to California more cost-effectively than other locales that don’t have all that we have to offer,
“‘Akira’ is just the latest in a growing list of big-budget film projects that have found California offers the best value despite the availability of more aggressive financial incentives in other states and nations.”

Iggy Azalea thinks her music needs ‘visual storytelling’

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea doesn’t think her music can exist without “visual storytelling”.
The ‘Sally Walker’ star – who released the new track last month ahead of her upcoming second album ‘In My Defense’- has explained that she will continue to release songs and videos on the same day because she feels it works best for the art she’s creating.
Taking to Twitter, she replied to an inquisitive follower: “Yes because I think everything I do is so intertwined with visual storytelling etc. it’s not the same without that.”
She promised another new song is “coming”, pointing out that fans should be patient because she only released her latest single two weeks ago.
Iggy, 28, also opened up about the amount of work that goes into her promo videos, and put it down to her own creative ideas.
She tweeted: “Let me tell y’all you do not know the struggle that is wanting entirely different makeup looks for every scene in a music video but only having 15mins to do changes. It’s like a big time management puzzle.”
Meanwhile, she has offered a defiant response to her critics and “higher up” people trying to hold her down, adding that she will “NEVER give up”.
She wrote: “One thing ya gotta know about me is you can try to stomp out my fire but I’m always gonna keep popping back up. I literally will NEVER give up. Never have. NEVER will.
EVEEREERRRRR. X 1000000.
“I hear about so many higher up ppl tryna stomp on my neck thinking it won’t get back to me. It does. But you know what? You might be powerful but I know me & everyone supporting gonna keep going regardless. All my battles will be fought with positivity. (sic)

June Brown fears robot takeover

OHMYGOSSIP — June Brown fears robots could end the world by going on a knifing spree in people’s homes.
The 92-year-old actress – who plays ‘EastEnders’ legend Dot Cotton – is concerned machines will take over at some point, and while she isn’t worried about them becoming more intelligent than humans, she does fear bots might start attacking people in the comfort of their own abodes.
She said: “Imagine having a robot in your sitting room.
“I don’t suppose it could develop a brain, but it might decide to put a knife in you. I wouldn’t trust it.”
And June has made a “cheerful” prediction that the introduction of robots in houses could result in the end of the world – if they develop murderous ways.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I don’t know what’ll happen – maybe the end of the world.
“That’s cheerful.”
Despite insisting she is “technology illiterate”, June does use a mobile phone but she isn’t a big fan of messages written in “text speak” and doesn’t touch computers.
She told TV Times magazine: “I’m technology illiterate. I don’t bother with computers, although I have an electronic reader.
“I can play CDs and I can use an ordinary mobile.
“But with mobiles now, all these funny things come up when I just want to make calls.
“Then there’s text speak, like, ‘C U 2moro’. It’s like hieroglyphics.”
However, June is in fact a computer game star having lent her vocal talents to the role of curvaceous, vampiric vixen Vivi, who has an American accent, in 1995 game ‘Brain Dead 13’.

Lorraine Kelly says she looks fine without plastic surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorraine Kelly thinks she looks fine without plastic surgery.
The 59-year-old TV presenter says she is confident in her natural face and does not want to go under the knife, because she thinks it is “really sad” that people have work done and often end up looking worse than before.
Lorraine told Good Housekeeping magazine: “I look fine and to be honest with you, I see people who have had work done particularly on their lips and think ‘What are you doing?’
“My make-up artist Helen tells me not to have anything done.
“She sees people who have had work done and has to work 10 times harder to make them look the same as they did pre-surgery. I think it’s really sad.”
The ‘Lorraine’ host also admitted she would be “too scared” to have plastic surgery, but is not bothered because she doesn’t freak out over “a few wrinkles”, preferring to call them “laughter lines”.
She said: “Look, if you have had it done and nobody can tell, then good for you because we don’t know. I’d be too scared.
“I just think, do a few wrinkles – or should I say laughter lines – matter? Is it a big deal? I don’t think it is.”
The chat show host is happy to be praised for her glamorous appearance and fashionable clothes, and thinks things have changed because older women are now more stylish.
She said: “[I feel] very lucky [to be praised]. I feel we’re at a stage where we have more information than ever before, but I think we do generally take better care of ourselves.
“We don’t look older. When I was a kid, a woman of 60 looked like a woman of 60: a wee granny perm, a shapeless coat, a tartan shopping bag and comfy shoes.”

Tanya Bardsley’s breasts were a safety risk on Celebs On The Ranch

OHMYGOSSIP — Tanya Bardsley’s big breasts were a health and safety risk on ‘Celebs On The Ranch’, her co-stars have revealed.
The 37-year-old model and former lads’ mags favourite boasts surgically enhanced 32D boobs and Jenny Powell – who joins ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star on the 5STAR reality show – was worried her mammoth mammaries were going to hit her in the face when they were driving on a bumpy dirt track.
Jenny, 50, decided to take matters and Tanya’s breasts into her own hands to ensure their journey was a safe one.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Jenny said: “We were driving down a dirt track and it was so bumpy Tanya’s t**s were going all over the place. I had to grab hold of them to stop them jiggling around. We barely knew each other but I basically became her bra. I held on tight!”
Fellow contestant Louie Spence was also travelling in the vehicle and he admits Bardsley’s boobies were bouncing so much he thought they were going to hit him in the face.
The 49-year-old choreographer was very grateful to Jenny for her quick-thinking cupping of the wayward breasts.
Louie, 49, shared: “Tanya’s t**s are so big. If Jenny didn’t hold them down we were all going to be taken out. I had a grab at one point, but they didn’t do anything for me.”
The trio are joined on ‘Celebs On The Ranch’ by Georgia Steel, Eyal Booker, Mark Francis Vandelli, Courtney Green, Bobby Norris, Victoria Baker-Harber and Siva Kaneswaran.
