OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev had a “wild” party to celebrate turning 30.
The former ‘Vampire Diaries’ star reached the milestone birthday last month and had a huge party, dubbed #Ninachella, to mark the occasion, and now the actress has said she went all out on the birthday bash because she was “saying goodbye to a decade” of her life.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘Busy Tonight’ on Monday (04.02.19), Nina said: “It was definitely wild, I had to say goodbye to a decade, and definitely acted like I was in my twenties … and the next morning I was one thousand percent a 30 year old because the hangover was WOW.”
Her comments come after recently revealed she wants to become more adventurous and tick a few things off her bucket list after turning 30, including skydiving, swimming with sharks and climbing Everest.
Asked what is on her bucket list, she said: “Skydiving, rock climbing, Everest, bungee jumping, swim with great whites, Bali. I add to it anytime something cool pops up that I want to do.”
And although she’s got an action packed bucket list, Nina admits she found it nerve wracking performing in front of a live audience on the set of her new sitcom, ‘Fam’.
She said: “The very first live show was absolutely terrifying, and I felt like I was going to die. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that much anxiety in my life. But with every show after that, it went away a little bit more and more, to the point where it is still there … This was an opportunity that came up, and I had never done a sitcom before. I’m a massive fan of ‘Friends’, and the genre had really intrigued me, but I didn’t know much about it … I was a little apprehensive [about returning to television] at first, but honestly, finding a great character and great people that you want to work with is such a blessing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Rodriguez says he and Jennifer Lopez are “meant to be”.
The 43-year-old sports star has been dating Jennifer for two years, and to mark their anniversary this week, Alex took to social media to post a glowing tribute to his pop star girlfriend.
Posting several shots of the pair together – including family pictures of her 10-year-old twins Max and Emma, whom she has with ex Marc Anthony, and his two children Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10 – Alex wrote on Instagram: “Macha 13, I can’t believe it’s been two years. Only 730 days, which have flown by, but it feels like we have been together forever. We are meant to be, and how much you mean to me cannot be put into words.
“From baseball games, to traveling across the world to shows in Vegas. We have done it all together and every moment with you is cherished. Where this road will take us next is unknown but there is no one else I would rather have by my side. The journey is just beginning and I am excited for what’s ahead. (sic)”
The baseball star went on to praise the work ethic of the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker, before thanking her for her “unwavering support”.
He added: “Macha, your hard work is unmatched. Your relentless drive and determination push me to be a better man each and every day.
“Like you there is none other. Words will never do justice to what the last two years have meant to me. Thank you for always being you, for your unwavering support and unconditional love. (sic)”
Alex’s post comes after Jennifer posted one of her own this week, where she said she is “blessed” to be with Alex, who she thanked for making her world “a more beautiful, safe and stable place”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson is learning how to “listen” ahead of the launch of her talk show.
The 36-year-old singer is set to front ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ on NBC later this year, and has said the hardest thing she’s had to do so far is practicing her listening skills, because she’s so used to doing all the talking.
Speaking to Ellen Degeneres as she appeared on her eponymously titled talk show on Tuesday (05.02.19), she said: “I do need to learn, and I have literally been watching, like, I’ve seen your show, tons of it, but I watch all your episodes and Oprah’s and everyone’s because I’m like, ‘How do I listen?’ Cause I was not good at listening.”
The ‘Because of You’ hitmaker then revealed she’s even had people on her team come up with tricks to ensure she doesn’t talk too much on her new show, which is set to premiere this autumn.
She added: “I literally had Alex [Duda], who’s producing the show, I literally had her … draw an airplane on a big giant card and, like, ‘Land it.’ ‘Cause I don’t shut up.”
And show host Ellen had some words of encouragement for Kelly, joking that she should try practice at home with listening to her husband Brandon Blackstock.
Ellen said: “No, it’s definitely important to listen. That is one of the biggest things … Practice with your husband and then that would be good for the marriage, and then it would be good for the show too.”
Kelly’s talk show is set to air this year, and will be on television just before ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’.
The ‘Piece By Piece’ singer recently said the show will be “a little different” to anything that’s been shown on TV before.
She said: “We sing every day on the show and do this fan request thing. It’s fun. In the pilot, I got people to sing with me and do little skits,” she added. “It’s very musical; it would be weird if it wasn’t!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frances Bean Cobain says the fortune she inherited from her late father Kurt Cobain feels like a “big giant loan [she’ll] never get rid of.”
The 26-year-old visual artist – who is the daughter of the late Nirvana frontman and Courtney Love – says she has a difficult relationship with the money she inherited from the ‘In Bloom’ hitmaker, because she barely knew her father when he passed away in 1994, when she was just 18 months old.
She said: “My relationship with money is different because I didn’t earn it. It’s almost like this big giant loan that I’ll never get rid of … It feels like money from somebody that I’ve never met, let alone earned myself.”
And whilst she admits she was reckless with her money at first, she now understands that she doesn’t have to “live lavishly in order to live well”, and tries to be a bit more frugal these days.
Speaking on RuPaul’s ‘What’s The Tee?’ podcast, she added: “I’d like to say that within the last two years I have taken real accountability for every single thing, talking to the people in charge of my money and having in-depth meetings as well as recognising that you don’t have to live lavishly in order to live well.
“Like, it’s not necessary to have UberXX or whatever it is every single time you are going five minutes away. Get the Uber economy if you are going ten minutes away, it’s okay, it’s alright.”
Her comments come after she said last year that she hopes her father would be “proud” of her musical ventures.
When asked if she believes the ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ hitmaker would like her music, Frances said: “I don’t have an answer for that because I don’t want to speak on someone else’s behalf. I would hope that he would be proud of the human being I am even if he didn’t like the art I am putting out. That’s all I would ask of anyone in my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lawrence told Brie Larson winning an Oscar doesn’t “change anything”.
The 29-year-old actress turned to her close friend Jennifer when she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in ‘Room’ in 2016 because she was concerned that she didn’t “feel any different” as an Oscar-winning actress, and has now said Jennifer – who picked up the same gong in 2013 for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ – gave her some hard advice.
Brie told InStyle: “I was like, ‘I don’t feel any different. I don’t feel better about myself. I still don’t feel like I’m a good actress.’ She was like, ‘Oh, yeah. That’s totally normal. I’ve had the same thing. Don’t think of it like that. Think of it as, like, you got your Ph.D. You’re certified; that’s it. It doesn’t change anything. You can still f**k up. Every judge is still human.'”
Her comments come after she revealed in 2017 that she still finds her Oscar win “surreal”, as she congratulated her pal Emma Stone for winning the award for ‘La La Land’.
She said: “It’s so strange because I think it’s such a surreal moment. It was surreal for me last year, it was surreal for me this year, as a way of this kind of cycle closing and this new one starting for my friend that I love so much.
“I’m so proud of [Emma]. I’m grateful that there’s a photo to prove that because what better than a day like International Women’s Day to say women love each other. We support each other through everything.”
Meanwhile, Brie previously confessed to celebrating her Oscars win with a good night’s sleep.
She said: “I did not dance all night. I didn’t hang out with Lorde and Taylor Swift. I went to sleep. I didn’t do that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt is “pretty involved” with wedding planning.
The ‘Guardians of The Galaxy’ star has revealed he and his fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger – who got engaged last month – have started to plan the details of their big day, and says he’s taking an active role in the preparations.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘Good Morning America’, he said: “Well, of course we’ve started, and [I’m] pretty involved.”
His brief comment comes after he recently claimed he and Katherine were considering a wedding towards the end of the year.
He said: “We’re maybe [thinking of a] fall, winter kind of thing. We have a lot to get done.”
Chris, 39, announced his engagement with a post on Instagram in mid January, where he shared a snap of the pair with Katherine’s engagement ring on show.
He captioned it: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Whilst Katherine wrote in her own post: “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”
And Chris’ ex-wife Anna Faris – with whom he has six-year-old son Jack – is thrilled for the couple and has even offered to officiate their wedding.
Speaking at the time, she said: “Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night,’ I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.’ And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.’
“I so subscribe to the idea of expanding family and love with Jack, I’m just so happy. We’re all really happy. I knew that it was going to happen, I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other. They’re both f***ing amazing people, the truth is there isn’t any bitterness.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shawn Mendes has apologised after he accidentally liked a transphobic tweet.
The 20-year-old singer took to Twitter on Monday (04.02.19) to apologise after fans noticed he had “liked” a controversial tweet which included a transphobic joke, as he says it was all a misunderstanding, and he had simply tapped on the tweet by accident whilst scrolling through his feed.
When one fan asked him to unlike the tweet and apologise, he responded: “Must of accidentally liked it scrolling down a feed, you know me & I’d never. Sorry (sic)”
He then added in a separate tweet: “Love u (sic)”
The ‘Treat You Better’ hitmaker is close friends with musician Teddy Geiger, who came out as transgender in October 2017, and said in a recent interview that he doesn’t understand why so many people “question” the way other people live.
He said: “There was a moment when I remember I referred to Teddy as she, like without thinking, and it takes time to be able to learn that, obviously. And the way she looked at me was this intense amount of joy that I swear if everybody in the world experienced one of their best friends experiencing that, there would be no questions. People would not be questioning it. It’s just not worth it to question it. Let somebody be and feel and live how they want to live.”
Meanwhile, Shawn recently said he feels as though he needs to be seen in public with a girl in order to “prove” to the world that he’s not gay, even though he knows that’s “not a bad thing”.
Shawn explained: “In the back of my heart, I feel like I need to go be seen with someone – like a girl – in public, to prove to people that I’m not gay. Even though in my heart I know that it’s not a bad thing.
“There’s still a piece of me that thinks that. And I hate that side of me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ABC have teased a “very exciting opener” to the Oscars.
The glitzy award ceremony – which will take place at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 24 – is set to go ahead with no host after Kevin Hart stepped down from the role when historic homophobic tweets he had made were resurfaced.
And after the likes of Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lopez and Whoopi Goldberg were all confirmed as presenters, ABC president Karey Burke has said there are more surprises in store for viewers.
She said: “From what I’ve heard, we have a very exciting opener planned. We are not going to go straight into people thanking their agents.”
Karey insists that the “lack of clarity” surrounding the show’s hosting situation has proved to be helpful in keeping the ceremony relevant, and says the list of presenters is “phenomenal”.
Speaking at the Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour on Tuesday (05.02.19), she added: “Ironically, I have found that the lack of clarity around the Oscars has kept them in the conversion. It’s really compelling. People really care.
“The list of presenters is phenomenal and growing. This is going to be a big turnout for this. There are big popular movies being nominated.”
The broadcaster’s comments come after Daniel, Jennifer, and Whoopi were announced as presenters alongside Awkwafina, Chis Evans, Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson and Constance Wu.
Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper is set to make his award show singing debut at the Academy Awards when he takes to the stage with his ‘A Star Is Born’ co-star, as the pair will perform their hit song ‘Shallow’, which is taken from the movie and which is nominated for Best Original Song.

OHMYGOSSIP — The teen cast of ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ are set to return for the sequel.
Ser’Darius Blain, Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner – who all appeared at the beginning and end of the film as children who were transformed into adult avatars – are set to reprise their roles in the forthcoming sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original 1981 book and 1995 movie of the same name both told the story of a magical board game in which wild jungle animals came into the real world.
But the 2017 reboot updated the concept by making the game into a video game in which four teens transported into its world, where the kids changed into grown-up avatars.
The adult cast, portrayed by Dwayne Johnson [Wolff] , Jack Black [Iseman], Kevin Hart [Blaine] and Karen Gillan [Turner], are also set to return to the franchise as well as some new faces such as Danny DeVito, Danny Glover and ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ actress Awkwafina.
Johnson previously confessed he is thrilled to be working with comedy king DeVito, admitting his ‘Twins’ star’s casting was “too irresistible” and definitely something he wanted to share with the film’s audience.
The former WWE wrestler previously said: “The magic of ‘Jumanji’ is who becomes who. And the idea of Danny DeVito joining our cast was too irresistible and something we knew we wanted to deliver to our audience this upcoming Christmas.”
The sequel will be directed, written, and produced by Jake Kasdan – who also helmed ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ – and co-written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, as well as co-produced by Matt Tolmach and Johnson’s Seven Bucks.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves are to perform a Dolly Parton tribute at the 2019 Grammy Awards next week.
The ‘9 to 5’ hitmaker will take to the stage to perform new music from her album ‘Dumplin”, and the bash will also have a special tribute segment that will feature Perry, Musgraves, Little Big Town and Maren Morris singing a medley of the music legend’s country hits.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (05.02.19), Musgraves wrote: “*D O L L Y dream come true, fully materialized* (sic)”
Dolly – who is an eight-time Grammy Award winner – will receive the 2019 MusiCares Person Of The Year prize at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
This year’s nominees include Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Post Malone and Shawn Mendes, who are also set to perform.
Best Album [‘Dirty Computer’] and Music Video [‘Pynk’] nominee Janelle Monáe, country stars Musgraves, who has four nods, and Dan + Shay, who received a nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, will also hit the stage at the ceremony, which will be hosted by Alicia Keys.
Hip hop superstar Kendrick Lamar is nominated for the most gongs this year, with eight nods to his name, with Drake close behind with seven, and Boi-1da and Brandi received six nominations each.
Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, Maren, newcomer H.E.R. and producer Sounwave all have five nominations along with Cardi.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Beckinsale likes Pete Davidson because he “makes her laugh”.
The 45-year-old actress and the 25-year-old comedian have been the subject of dating speculation ever since they were spotted together at a Golden Globes afterparty last month, and it has now been claimed Kate enjoys spending time with Pete because she can “embrace her youthful side” around him.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Kate is a lot of fun and loves embracing her youthful side. She’s always the life of the party and likes going out, dancing and hanging out around young people at hip places.
“[Kate is] very confident in her skin and is all about having a good time. It’s no surprise she likes Pete – he makes her laugh and she likes the fact that he’s younger than her.”
Following their Golden Globes appearance – where they were said to be “flirting all night and sipping Moët champagne” before they left together – the pair were spotted over the weekend holding hands after his comedy gig in LA.
Kate showed up at Largo at the Coronet to support Pete and the pair left together in a waiting car before making their way to Pete’s hotel.
‘Saturday Night Live’ star Pete has been single since his engagement to Ariana Grande ended last year, while Kate’s 12-year marriage to Len Wiseman ended in 2016.
In December, Pete alarmed fans with a candid Instagram post when he admitted he didn’t know how much longer he can “last”.
He said on the photo-sharing website: “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so (sic).”
Prior to that, Pete said he hopes that being open about his own vulnerabilities “will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth”.
The comedian added: “No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Birds of a Feather’ has been cancelled.
The British sitcom – which stars Linda Robson, Lesley Joseph and Pauline Quirke – has been axed by ITV after three series with the broadcaster.
Kevin Lygo, ITV’s Director of Television, said: “We had success with Birds of a Feather, that was our most successful sitcom in years, but it’s come to a sort of natural end.”
And ‘Bad Move’, which features Jack Dee and Seann Walsh, has also got the chop and Lygo feels the future of scripted comedy is bleak.
He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We had two series of the Jack Dee sitcom but I don’t think we’re continuing with it now. It’s just very, very hard. Audiences can get their fix of character-based comedy from ‘Coronation Street’.”
It has previously been revealed that ‘Birds of a Feather’, which first aired on the BBC in 1989 and was revived 15 years later in 2014 by ITV, could have a crossover series with ‘Benidorm’.
Speaking previously, Lesley said: “We’re waiting to hear what we’re going to do. We’re not sure at the moment but ITV have loved it and we’re all waiting to hear if we’re doing another series or a special. I want to go abroad. Linda Robson is queen of the tweets and somebody tweeted her, ‘Why don’t we do ‘Birds’ meets ‘Benidorm’?’ Can you actually imagine ‘Birds of a Feather’ go to Benidorm? It would just be a match made in heaven.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins has got her “confidence back” after her nasty fall on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star took a tumble on her face during her performance on the show last month, and had admitted her nerves affected her performance on Sunday (03.02.19).
However, on Tuesday (05.02.19), she gave her 1.2 million followers a teaser of what to expect from her next routine with skating partner Matt Evers, and thanked him for giving her a boost.
Vowing to not give up, she captioned the video: “Rough cut off working on Sunday’s routine @themattevers you really helped me build my confidence today and I can’t thank you enough…
“Very rough cut but I’m not giving up yet… and the PUBLIC SUPPORT is OVERWHELMING beyond belief️.

The ‘Dancing on Ice’ team sent Gemma away to a Spa retreat after she was left in pain with serious bruising.
The 38-year-old star shared videos from her break at Champneys on her Instagram Stories.
She said: “This is reality right now, I’m so ill but I’m at ‘Dancing on Ice’ – nothing is gonna stop me and I’m with…
“I’ve got to keep quiet, but the lovely producers at ‘Dancing on Ice’ have brought us to Champneys.
“When they saw what I look like they was like…”
Speaking about how the fall had affected her performance on Sunday (03.02.19), she admitted: “I’m really upset because obviously last week I had really improved and then since the fall, my nerves have gone.”
Gemma had to use her mother Joan’s wheelchair for a few days last week because her knees were so bruised from the slip up.
Her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent said: “Gemma couldn’t sleep last night because she’s in so much pain. The swelling around her thighs and knees is horrific, and she’s black and blue all over. She’s struggling to walk so I had to carry her to the car earlier, and she’s been using Joan’s wheelchair on and off all day because she’s in so much pain. She’s seeing a private doctor tomorrow who will determine what will happen next. It will be her worst nightmare if she’s forced to pull out of the show, she doesn’t want to be a sick note, she wants to continue and we strongly believe she’s a real contender to win.”
The GC previously admitted she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by the fall but couldn’t wait to get back onto the ice.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Absolutely devastated & embarrassed. My heart is broken but when I went down I thought of @gypsyking101 Tyson Fury and knew I had to get back up & carry on! Can’t thank you enough for your support on social media and picking up the phone to vote! I’m in a lot of pain but bring on fantasy week!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lawrence has sparked engagement rumours with her boyfriend Cooke Maroney.
The 28-year-old actress has been romancing Cooke for just over six months, but it’s now been claimed they may be ready to take their relationship to the next level, as the couple have sparked engagement rumours.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six column, Jennifer was recently spotted on a dinner date with Cooke, during which she was seen to be wearing a “massive ring”, which is believed to be an engagement ring.
The couple have remained tight lipped about their romance over the past six months, but started dating in June and were spotted out in New York City and around the world getting cozy on numerous occasions.
About two months after confirming their relationship, the couple vacationed in Paris for a few days, where they were seen holding hands.
Previously, sources claimed the ‘Red Sparrow’ actress was “happy” in her romance with New York art gallery director, after a dinner date they shared together back in June.
A source said: “They [were] super cuddly throughout dinner – very affectionate and comfortable with each other. She’s really happy. She has nothing to hide. This seems like the real deal.”
Cooke works at New York’s Gladstone Gallery, which represents artists including Lena Dunham’s dad, Carroll Dunham, as well as Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Bjork’s ex, Matthew Barney.
He is known on the art party scene and previously worked at the prestigious Gagosian gallery.
For Jennifer, the romance began just months after she split from ‘Mother!’ director Darren Aronofsky, 49, in November 2017 after dating for about a year.
It had been claimed that their age gap caused a problem in their romance, as well as Jennifer admitting they were never able to switch off from talking about work.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pink thanked her family as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday (05.02.19).
The ‘What About Us’ hitmaker was joined by her husband Carey Hart and their son Jameson, two, and daughter Willow, seven, as her sidewalk tribute was placed next Jackie Chan and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s in Los Angeles.
During her speech, the 39-year-old pop superstar praised her husband for being her “muse” and hailed their two children her “stars”, who she wouldn’t “shine” without.
She said: “Thank you to my fans — you guys make it matter. Thank you for coming.
My husband — he’s so cute.
“He’s my muse and if he didn’t p**s me off all the time I’d have not much to say.
“I wouldn’t be standing up here if it wasn’t for you. Never change. My children — you guys are my stars and I would never shine without you.”
The ‘Trouble’ singer admitted it was a “surreal” moment and shared how her father’s advice to always be true to herself has got her where she is, which made receiving Hollywood’s top honour all the more “meaningful” to her.
She said: “This is surreal. It has been a trip lately thinking back over the course of this career I’ve somehow managed to have.
“I signed my first record deal 23 years ago … and I’m only 23-and-a-half so that’s crazy.
“It’s been two decades and it’s been meaningful and it’s been awesome.
“Today for me is a celebration of something that my dad taught me.
“And that is ‘to thine own self be true’ … There is a power in believing in yourself — you may not be the best that ever did it, you may not be the prettiest or the tallest or the funniest or the most talented … if you’re stubborn and you don’t give up and you work really hard — no one else can ever be you. Today is an absolute honour. Today proves that.”
Pink’s friend Ellen DeGeneres gave an emotional speech at the unveiling ceremony, in which she praised the ‘So What’ hitmaker for being a “great mother” and “setting an example” of how to be a “strong” independent woman to her daughter.
She said: “One of my favourite things about Pink is what a great mother she is to her two children.
“She’s not just raising her daughter Willow, she’s setting an example for her daughter on how to live in this world as a strong, independent woman who respects herself and others.”
The 61-year-old talk show host then quipped: “She’s teaching Jameson that he can just wipe his nose with his finger and then put it on the carpet right there . . . You can’t just wipe your son’s nose and put it on the carpet.”
Former motocross star Carey, 43, also shared some pictures from the day on his Instagram account, and wrote: “Such a cool experience watching wifey get her star on Hollywood walk. Proud of you baby.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper was “embarrassed” after being snubbed for a Best Director Oscar nomination.
The 44-year-old actor has admitted he “felt like I hadn’t done my job” when he wasn’t shortlisted in the category for his directional debut, last year’s critically acclaimed ‘A Star Is Born’ adaptation.
Speaking at Oprah Winfrey’s ‘SuperSoul Conversations’ at Times Square in New York on Tuesday (05.02.19), he confessed: “I was embarrassed. I was at a coffee shop in New York City and looked down at my phone and Nicole [Caruso, his publicist] has told me congratulations and said what we had been nominated for.
“They didn’t even give me the bad news.
“I was embarrassed because I felt I hadn’t done my job.”
Bradley also portrays out of control rock star Jackson Maine alongside Lady Gaga – who stars as his love interest Ally in the movie – and received Best Actor, Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay nods alongside Eric Roth and Will Fetters.
The filmmaker was recently confirmed to perform the soundtrack, ‘Shallow’, with Gaga at the ceremony on February 24, but admitted he has a “death wish” for agreeing to the live gig.
The ‘Burnt’ star will make his award show singing debut at the Academy Awards when he takes to the stage with his co-star to perform the Best Original Song-nominated single, but Bradley recently admitted he’s “terrified” about the impending performance.
He said: “Yes! It’s terrifying, absolutely. I was like, ‘Why? I must have some sort of death wish.'”
It won’t be the first time Bradley has performed the track with Gaga though, as he recently joined her on stage during a show in Las Vegas, but he insisted he was equally as nervous for that duet too.
He said: “That was terrifying.
“I just had to like, Zen out and just pray that I wouldn’t ruin her show. Because, think about it, she just crushed it or two hours … and I thought, ‘Please let me just be on pitch.'”
Bradley previously admitted he took to the stage on that occasion with no prior preparation, but insisted he’d be well rehearsed before his Oscars performance.
He added: “I didn’t have any preparation. That was just to see. That was an amazing experience. But no, I want to work and like rehearse [before the Oscars].
“I’d thought about it and called Gaga, so maybe I’d go to the show and then I knew she was singing ‘Shallow’ for her finale. And I thought – I don’t know – maybe if she wants to bring me up, let’s see if it’s not horrendous.”
