OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift supported her boyfriend Joe Alwyn at the EE BAFTAs on Sunday night (10.02.19).
The ‘Delicate’ singer wowed in a custom made pale blue Stella McCartney gown at the star-studded bash at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where the 27-year-old actor’s movie received seven gongs for Outstanding British Film, Leading Actress (Olivia Colman), Supporting Actress (Rachel Weisz), Original Screenplay (Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara), Costume Design (Sandy Powell), Production Design (Fiona Crombie and Alice Felton) and Make-Up & Hair (Nadia Stacey).
Sharing a picture of her stunning ensemble, which was completed with open toe heels, Taylor captioned the Instagram snap: “AHHHHH @thefavouritemovie just won 7 @bafta awards !!! Bout to go give some high fives – thanks @stellamccartney for this dressss (sic)”
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Reputation’ at the Grammys, which took place on the same evening in Los Angeles – which saw Ariana Grande win the prize for ‘Sweetener’ – but she opted to accompany her partner to the British ceremony instead.
After the BAFTAs dinner, the pair were spotted leaving the British Vogue after-party at Annabel’s Members’ Club in Mayfair.
Meanwhile, the actor recently stated that his unwillingness to talk about his relationship with the 29-year-old pop megastar is “normal”.
The ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ star has been dating the ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ singer for around two years and they both have been very guarded about their romance with the couple even avoiding being photographed together at the Golden Globe Awards last month.
Joe intends to stick his rule to not talk about Taylor, in interviews as he sees no justification as to why he should share details of his private life with strangers.
He said: “I don’t think more than anyone else. I don’t think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I? And then that is defined as being ‘strangely private’. Fine. But I don’t think it is. I think it’s normal.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins says her knees will take “six months to recover” after her falls on ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The ‘TOWIE’ star and her partner Matt Evers were voted off the ITV skating show after losing out in the skate off to Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto on Sunday night (10.02.19) and The GC has now revealed she is facing a lengthy recuperation period due to her the injuries she suffered when falling during one of the live shows and subsequent tumbles in rehearsals.
And Gemma admitted that she “never felt the same” after her famous fall a few weeks ago.
Appearing on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (11.02.19), Gemma said: “When I fell on the ice, I never felt the same ever again, I’ll be honest with you, I was very lucky, but my knees, I’ve got a six month recovery on my knees. When I spoke to the physio and she said to me, ‘It’s going to take six months for them to start healing.’ That’s because I kept falling, and let’s be fair I ain’t the lightest of persons, so, you know… But I had a really good time.”
Gemma, 38, was also disappointed when people started questioning whether or not she faked her face first fall because there’s no way she’d want to risk serious injury on the ice to garner sympathy.
She added: “That was weird, because no way I would want to fake that. The pain I was in, I was crying for days. I’m still in pain now, but as they say it’s the knocks in life that make you stronger and I certainly took a lot on the show.”
Gemma – who was supported by her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent throughout her time on ‘Dancing On Ice’ – insists she is going to continue her fitness regime as she has lost two-and-a-half stone since she began training for the programme in October and may occasionally skate for fun.
She vowed: “I will 100 per cent keep up with the fitness and I’m saying this on national TV because I feel so much better, like I could just move a lot more, I can do my shoes up. I’ll be honest I had about three tyres round my middle and they’ve gone. I’m still a bigger girl but when I got on the scales, I was shocked because I’ve actually lost two and a half stone.
“It never goes off my face, I think I need some sort of lifting surgery. I was shocked I couldn’t believe and just feeling fit. I don’t know what form of exercise I’m going to do yet. I might take to the rink but for an enjoyment purpose, skate round for an hour, you know, because it is good exercise, but I really do want to continue with my fitness.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kacey Musgraves and Childish Gambino were the big winners at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (10.02.19), with each taking four prizes.
The country superstar accepted the evening’s biggest and final honour, Album of the Year, for ‘Golden Hour’, as well as Best Country Album, Best Country Song for ‘Space Cowboy’ and Best Country Solo Performance for ‘Butterflies’.
Picking up Album of the Year, she humbly said on stage at Los Angeles’ Staples Center: “Winning this doesn’t make my album any better than any other in this category.”
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old rapper – aka Donald Glover – wasn’t in attendance for the ceremony, but he made history when his track ‘This Is America’ saw him become the first rapper to win in both the Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories.
And that’s not all as the song also won Video of the Year and Best Rap/Sung Performance.
Lady Gaga took home Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Joanne’, Best Song Written for Visual Media for ‘Shallow’ – which is from the soundtrack to her movie ‘A Star is Born’ 0 and also Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the latter track, which she accepted on behalf of herself and collaborator Bradley Cooper, who missed the ceremony to attend the BAFTA Awards in London.
Brandi Carlile also won three awards, while other notable wins included Dua Lipa being named Best New Artist, Cardi B taking home Best Rap Album for ‘Invasion of Privacy’ and Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ being named Best Rap Song.
The ceremony, which was hosted by Alicia Keys, featured a host of musical performances, including a tribute to the late Aretha Franklin from Fantasia, Andra Day and Yolanda Adams, duets from Dua Lipa and St. Vincent, Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes, and Post Malone and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Diana Ross marked her upcoming 75th birthday with two songs and Kacey, Miley, Katy Perry, Maren Morris and Little Big Town all joined Dolly Parton for a 10-minute segment paying tribute to the music of the country legend.
Camila Cabello was joined by the likes of Ricky Martin and Young Thug to open the show with a high-energy performance of ‘Havana’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nile Rodgers will curate this summer’s Meltdown Festival.
The Chic superstar will bring his own eclectic lineup of stars to the Southbank Centre in London later this year from 3-11 August.
He said: “To be able to curate and produce nine days of live music for the city of London, the UK and music enthusiasts visiting from all over the world is truly a dream come true.
“Anyone who knows my career knows that Funk, Disco, Jazz, Soul, Classical, POP, New Wave, R&B, Fusion, Punk Rock, Afrobeat, Electronic and Dance music all play a role and you can expect that to be reflected in the performances we are planning.
“It’s all about the groove and this August everyone in London will be dancing to incredible live performances!”
Although the lineup for the event is yet to be announced, Rodgers is following in the footsteps of the likes of David Bowie, M.I.A and last year’s curator, The Cure’s Robert Smith.
Bengi Ünsal, Senior Contemporary Music Programmer at Southbank Centre, said: “I am thrilled and honoured to welcome Nile Rodgers to Southbank Centre this August for the 26th Meltdown festival. “Meltdown is the longest-running artist curated festival in the world and for 25 years has been celebrating those at the frontiers of music.
“It’s hard to overstate the impact that this year’s curator has had both as part of CHIC and as a solo producer on what we call popular music today. He is constantly creating and collaborating, and I can’t wait to see what he will create across our venues. One thing’s for certain: this will be the funkiest Meltdown yet.”
The event has seen some incredible moments over the years, including Jeff Buckley playing his final UK show at Elvis Costello’s festival in 1995, while 2007 host Jarvis Cocker was joined by an all-star cast featuring the likes of Nick Cave, Grace Jones and Pete Doherty as they belted out Disney songs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins loves to “binge watch” movies.
The ‘To the Bone’ star is obsessed with films and has confessed to watching three or four a day whilst she was feeling unwell.
Asked if she still likes to watch films, she said: “Oh definitely. I have binge watching sessions. I recently had the flu and I just sat at home for about a week and just watched all of them all at once. Three or four a day. What a great reason to be sick.”
And Lily particularly loved ‘The Favourite’.
Speaking on the red carpet at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night (10.02.19), she shared: “I really do think my favourite was ‘The Favourite.'”
Lily had previously confessed she had “never wanted” to be famous because of her father Phil Collins.
She said: “Growing up I never wanted that to be a part of my story. Obviously I’m super-proud of my dad; I love my dad, I’m grateful for all the things I’ve learned, but it’s also something I wanted to define as my own. I always wanted to do it myself and for myself.”
The brunette beauty feels more empowered than ever before due to the changing attitudes towards women in Hollywood, and the bravery of other women is inspiring her to “speak out” and own her truth.
She said: “I’ve realised that I can’t control what other people think of what I have to say, but I can control how I say it and where it’s coming from. So many women have come out and spoken about things that people would have assumed would have been the end of them. Now it is embraced for us to speak out.
“I’m attracted so strongly to people who are brave and outspoken and very much themselves, so I thought, ‘Why can’t I be that?’ It takes practice and I’m not fully there yet, but I’m doing my best to take those steps.
“Hopefully one day this won’t even have to be a conversation. That’s my hope that we won’t have to say, ‘I’m so glad you’re hired because you’re a female.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mahershala Ali finds it “humbling” being nominated for awards.
The 44-year-old actor – who is up for Best Supporting Actor at both the British Academy Film Awards and the Academy Awards for his role in ‘Green Book’ – says there is a special feeling being in the “circle of recognition” during awards season.
Speaking on the red carpet at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night (10.02.19), he explained: “Most importantly, you put all this love and energy and time into these projects and you just hope that it resonates and speaks to people. To end up here, at this event and to sort of be in the circle of recognition is just a real honour. It’s humbling.”
Meanwhile, Mahershala previously revealed he chooses roles which “align” with his “consciousness”.
He explained: “I think my choices are just a natural outgrowth of how I try to live my life. I try to be conscious of my diet holistically, whether it’s the actual food you put in the body or what it is that you’re watching. So when I read projects of when I find myself drawn to something it’s really pretty much in alignment with a larger consciousness that I try to live with.”
And he believes his Islamic faith has made him a better actor as it helps him relate to his characters better.
He said: “It benefits me from the standpoint of really creating empathy for these characters that I try to embody, other human beings with issues as deep and personal as my own. Because of Islam, I am acutely aware that I am a work in progress. [The daily practice] puts a healthy pressure on you to be your best self, beginning with your own spirit and how that feeds into your actions.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rami Malek never thought he’d be famous.
The 37-year-old actor shot to fame playing the legendary singer Freddie Mercury in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ but never could have believed this would be his life.
Speaking on the red carpet at the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday night (10.02.19), he shared: “I was thinking on the way here what my younger self – the young baba Rami – would have thought about being at BAFTAs. We were at Kensington Palace last night. Things that you just never think are going to happen in your life. I guess, Freddie Mercury is the gift that keeps giving.”
And during the promotional tour for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, Rami has been shocked by how much the world loved Freddie.
Speaking about Freddie’s global theme, he added: “He’s huge everywhere. I’ve been travelling all over the world with this film, promoting it. At one point, we were in Japan at a screening. Everyone was singing the songs from the Live Aid concert and we did a Q and A and they still needed some things translated but they knew every word to every song … The world claims in. He belongs to everyone.”
Meanwhile, Rami previously admitted he found it “so daunting” meeting Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor for the first time.
He said: “It is unreal for me. When I first met them, I have met a lot of actors, and there are a few actors that really throw me, where it’s difficult to open my mouth around. For the most part, I can hold my own, but those two guys, it was so daunting talking to them at first … And to think that now we have this casual relationship, it is beyond anything I ever thought could happen. Thank you to Queen. Thank you to Freddie Mercury. I am forever in their debt.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Colman dedicated her Leading Actress award to her co-stars at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night (10.02.19).
The 45-year-old actress triumphed at the awards ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall for her part as Queen Anne in ‘The Favourite’ but dedicated her award to her friends and colleagues, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz.
In her acceptance speech, she said: “Making this film was my most favourite time ever. Emma and Rachel, you were the best and classiest and coolest colour guard I could have had. This is not for the lead, but A lead.”
Referencing her co-stars, she added: “It’s a shame we can’t all be here, but this is for all of us. It’s got my name on it, but we can scratch in some other names.”
And Olivia admitted to feeling “shaky” on stage.
She told the audience: “I’m very shaky, sorry. Can’t read [my speech] either! We’re having an amazing night, aren’t we? We’re going to get so pissed later!”
Reading through her notes, she added: “I’ve done that bit, I’ve done that bit … Sorry, I swear I’m going to go in a moment.”
And it is no surprise that Olivia felt nervous as she previously admitted to feeling “sick to her stomach” before she attends award ceremonies.
She explained: “The first one you ever go to is the best night ever. And then after that it gets more scary. I get more and more nervous. I feel sick to my stomach before I have to go. Because ‘What am I gonna say if I win?’ and I don’t think I should win, I think I should win’. It’s not just a night out anymore.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh says her pregnant daughter is constantly craving donuts.
The 42-year-old soap actress – whose 21-year-old daughter Emilie is carrying her first child – has revealed the mother-to-be has been recently stuffing herself with the tasty treats.
Kym wrote in her exclusive OK! Magazine column: “Her appetite has also increased, which is good as I was a bit concerned because at some stages during pregnancy you can feel like you can’t really stomach food.
“She’s making up for that now! She’ll fixate on a certain food for a week and then move on to something else. At the moment it’s fruit and yoghurt and I think the baby loves it as he’s been kicking loads.
“The other week it was Curly Wurlys and she’s actually just started eating donuts too! She offered me one the other day and I said: ‘I’ll have the hole in the middle!”
Kym – who also has another daughter Polly, 7, and son David, 23 – says she is glad her daughter will be “under her roof” when the baby is born.
She said: “I’m glad Emilie will be under my roof when my grandson’s born. She’s in no rush to move out with her boyfriend Mikey, who stays with us much of the time.
“I lived with my parents for a while when David and Emilie were babies and I found it really useful, and the idea of having a newborn in the house doesn’t faze me at all.
“I’ll only be 42 and I know some women who are only having their first child at my age.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa has defended Ariana Grande for snubbing the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (10.02.19).
The ‘thank u, next’ hitmaker decided not to attend the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles following a row with producers over her planned performance, and her fellow pop star has she has every right to make that choice.
Lipa – who won the Best New Artist and Dance Recording prizes – told Rolling Stone magazine: “Every artist has their own right to decide what they want to do and how they would like to perform and be perceived.”
While Ariana, 25, wasn’t at the Grammy Awards – which were hosted by Alicia Keys at LA’s Staples Centre – she scooped the Best Pop Vocal Album for her record ‘Sweetener’ and used Twitter to admit she was still delighted to have won.
She posted: “I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things …. but f**k ……. this is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much (sic)”
She slammed Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich on Twitter a few days ago when she shared pictures of an interview he’d given in which he claimed she couldn’t “pull something together” in enough time.
She wrote: “i’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me. i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.
“i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rami Malek praised British “musical heritage” as he picked up the Best Leading Actor gong at the EE British Academy Film Awards.
The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ star – who triumphed at the awards ceremony for his role as Freddie Mercury in the movie – thanked the Queen star for his contribution to music as he spoke to the audience gathered at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night (10.02.19).
Speaking as he collected the award, he said: “I still cannot believe that I’m included with this group of actors. It’s quite difficult entering your [British] world with this role, as an outsider. It’s not lost on me how sacred your musical heritage is.”
Rami will hoping to continue his good awards season at the Academy Awards later this month, where he is nominated in the Actor in a Leading Role category.
The 37-year-old actor – who has already picked up a Golden Globe and a SAG Award this year – said: “I guess at that point, you start to consider it. I’m always so thankful that I get to be a working actor. The percentage of people who get to do this is so small that getting accolades like this seems so distant always, whether you’ve received awards in the past or not. But I think perhaps after getting the Globe, it seemed more attainable — but there’s something about hearing the words that you’re an Oscar nominated actor that are still going to be incredibly shocking. It’s a profoundly humbling moment for me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Roma’ won Best Film at the EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday night (10.02.19).
The Netflix drama took home the top prize at the awards ceremony at London’s Royal Albert Hall, pipping other nominees ‘BlacKkKlansman’, ‘The Favourite’, ‘Green Book’ and ‘A Star Is Born’ to the post.
Taking to the stage alongside the whole of the ‘Roma’ cast, the film’s director Alfonso Cuarón said: “This time I’m going to read because as you can tell, I blanked and can’t think what to say. I just want to thank Participant Media and Netflix for their faith and courage and I share this award with my amazing cast and crew.”
Alfonso had previously opened up about how he felt the issues dealt with in ‘Roma’ were more universal.
He explained: “Roma has opened up a discussion here and in Mexico about domestic workers. Additionally, in Mexico, they have had a discussion about racism. You have to see some of the comments there, with some people making all these offensive statements about the caravan of migrants. I mean, a sector of the population is repeating pretty much the same words of Trump …
“What I’m saying with this is that, unfortunately, some of the themes and issues dealt with in Roma are not specific to Mexico, just as they are not specific to the US. The relationship between social class and ethnicity; all of that stuff is just everywhere. When I was doing this film I was not trying to do a political film, I was trying to do film a little bit more about existence. So I hope that people, if anything, relate to the sense of existence and absurdity of existence in ‘Roma.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamara Ecclestone is thinking about trying for a second child with husband Jay Rutland.
The 34-year-old Formula One heiress has revealed their four-year-old daughter Sophia – who is nicknamed Fifi – has told them she wants a little sister, and she is “open to the idea” after previously having reservations about expanding their brood.
Speaking to HELLO! Magazine, Tamara spilled: “She’s been talking about how much she wants a sibling, and for the first time I’m open to the idea.
“She really wants a sister, but certainly not a brother – she’s very girlie and thinks boys are smelly.”
Tamara admitted that having another child is a “scary” prospect.
She explained: “Having another baby is obviously scary because it would mean a big change, but I’m definitely up for it.”
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty revealed that she would just like her husband – who she tied the knot with in a lavish ceremony in 2013, after less than a year of dating – to sign her a card with a loving message inside for Valentine’s Day (14.02.19), after being showered with romantic getaways and surprise dinners in the past.
She said: “One year he organised for a chef to come to the house and prepare my favourite food – pizza, pasta and chocolate mousse. And when I was pregnant with Fifi he whisked me off to Paris.”
On what she’d like this year, she added: “To be honest I’d be happy with a nice card with something lovely written inside.
“He’s very imaginative and thinks of special things which aren’t materialistic but mean the most to me – such as the DVD he made of special moments in our lives and draping a balloon with messages containing all the reasons why he loves me.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Tag remains in the dark about the mystery of Breda McQueen’s stalker.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actor has insisted he doesn’t know the identity of Breda’s stalker – although he’s aware that fans are speculating that it’s actually his own character, Sylver McQueen.
He explained: “I think the writers have done it very well. I understand the reasoning behind why people think that it’s Sylver. I actually don’t know who it is, to be honest. There are a few different people who it could be.
“People seem to believe it’s Sylver, but they think that even though Sylver may know the truth, he’s trying to protect his mother. It’ll definitely be interesting to see who’s following her.”
David also revealed he’s looking forward to his character discovering Breda’s sinister secrets.
The actor described the inevitable storyline as a “really good challenge”.
He told Digital Spy: “When Sylver first found out that Breda wasn’t his mum at Christmas, that was one of the biggest challenges that I’ve had as an actor.
“I really got into that storyline and the director George Siougas was excellent – he brought out a different side to Sylver.
“I’m really looking forward to Sylver finding out that Breda is a serial killer. I’m very excited to take that on, because I think it’ll be a really good challenge and really exciting for the show.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shayne Ward has been cast in new horror movie ‘Skendleby’.
The former ‘X Factor’ champion – who won the singing competition in 2005 and went on to appear on soap ‘Coronation Street’ – will star alongside Mark Jackson and Niamh McGrady in the British thriller.
As reported by Variety, he has joined the cast as archaeologist Dr. Giles Glover, with filming set to start in the UK next April.
The movie – which will feature an all-British cast – follows the story of an ancient curse in the Skendelby Hall estate.
Shayne said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining a great cast and crew on an exciting new British film.
“The script is brilliant and I can’t wait to get going.”
The film will be produced by Rebekah Louisa Smith’s new Doctor Rebekah Productions company.
Speaking about the studio’s goals, she explained: “We will specialize in creating innovative and compelling storytelling for various niche markets.”
Last year, former ‘Corrie’ star Ward revealed his film ambitions, and he admitted he would “definitely consider” any offer to work in Hollywood.
He said: “I’m having a lot of meetings with the right people at the moment and choosing my next film project very carefully.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has loved the “bat s**t bananas” reaction to ‘Fighting With My Family’.
The WWE legend has returned to his “wrestling roots” to produce the new comedy drama based on the life of former women’s champion Paige, and he admitted he holds a “deep connection” to the movie.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Audience buzz surrounding our film #FightingWithMyFamily has been absolutely bat s**t bananas.
“Deep connection to my wrestling roots, so this one was an honor to develop and produce.
“What a brilliant cast led by our shining stars @florencepugh & @j_a_lowden And writer/director @stephenmerchant. (sic)”
Directed and written by Stephen Merchant, the movie stars Florence Pugh as Saraya ‘Paige’ Bevis’ alongside Jack Lowden has her brother Zak, while Nick Frost and Lena Headey play their parents Patrick and Julia.
In another post reflecting on his passion for the film, Johnson revealed he has wanted to make the project for a long time.
He said: “I watched a gritty documentary back in 2012 about @realpaigewwe and immediately identified with her crazy, loving wrestling family, because they reminded me of my own crazy wrestling family.
“I thought this this documentary would make a crowd pleasing movie one day – years later, here we are.
“I’m very happy for our hard working, brilliant cast and filmmakers. You guys earned every cheer that comes your way on this one.”
‘Fighting With My Family’ will hit the big screen on February 14 in the US, with its UK release following on February 27.
