The Bachelor UK is returning with personal trainer looking for love

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Bachelor UK’ is returning later this month with gym hunk Alex Marks in the spotlight.
The 31-year-old personal trainer – who has a fitness studio in South London – will appear as the lucky bachelor looking for love in the sixth series of the Channel 5 programme, which returns after a seven-year break.
The highly-anticipated series is being hosted by Mark Wright and will follow the same format as the US show by featuring seventeen single ladies, who will compete for the affection of Alex, in the hope they will be given a flower at the rose ceremony to remain in the competition.
The US spin-off will feature over 10 episodes filmed in several locations including South Africa, Antigua and the UK.
A TV source told The Sun’s TV Bizarre column: “Mark has already had an incredibly busy year presenting on Extra.
“Now he’s getting ready to jet off again to front another show which is an amazing opportunity – but it means more time out of the country and being apart from Michelle.
“He’s really excited to get stuck in with the show though and looking forward to lending his professional dating expertise.”
Alex specialises in fitness for pregnant and post-natal mothers and has joined the show in the hope he can find his soulmate.
The Bachelor UK originally started in 2003 on BBC Three and later relaunched on Channel 5 with two celebrity seasons featuring ‘Made In Chelsea’s’ Spencer Matthews and Welsh rugby star, Gavin Henson.
However, the series failed to bring in viewers and so the show was cancelled.

Yungblud releases new song with Halsey and Travis Barker

OHMYGOSSIP — Yungblud says his new song with Halsey and Blink-182’s Travis Barker is their attempt to “modernise” rock.
The ‘Loner’ rocker has teamed up with the ‘Without Me’ hitmaker – who recently defended her love for Bring Me The Horizon as a pop artist – and the ‘All The Small Things’ drummer on the track ’11 Minutes’.
The 21-year-old star, who is dating Halsey, said that it was a “dream” to collaborate with the pair on the anthemic song.
He said: “Working with Halsey and Travis was a f***ing dream – at the end of the day we’re all rock kids.
“We grew up with a mutual adoration for the genre so it completely makes sense that we would come together and try to modernise it.”
The track which was released on Valentine’s Days (14.02.19) is a story of “modern love” and never knowing “how much” something means to you until its gone.
Yungblud – whose real name is Dominic Harrison- explained: “The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society.
“We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us.
“We don’t realise how much we need something until it’s taken away from us.”
Meanwhile, Yungblud is set to play his biggest headline tour to date.
The Yorkshireman will play London’s O2 Academy Brixton on November 21.
The extensive run kicks off in Amsterdam on October 27, and wraps at Sheffield’s O2 Academy on November 29.

The Migos star dropped the track ‘Red Room’ from his forthcoming album and documentary, which is released on February 22.
Alongside a teaser video for the track and the music video – which is directed by Aisultan Seitov – the rapper tweeted: “R E D R O O M
A T M I D N I G H T
RED ROOM SONG AND VIDEO COME OUT TONIGHT. My first solo project I want to express my life let my fans know a little more about myself and of course some turn up !!! RED ROOM OUT TONIGHT #RedRoom (sic)”
The ‘Stir Fry’ hitmaker previously shared a video promo for his forthcoming project, featuring footage of
his wife Cardi B giving birth to their seven-month-old daughter Kulture.
The trap star used a clip from the hospital room, which sees his wife pushing out their little girl, who was born on July 10, 2018, as he stood by her bedside.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker can be heard letting out a deafening scream as she delivered their first child, before it ends with the rapper standing near to the door of the room with a seemingly concerned look on his face.
He captioned the post: “A L B U M : 2-22-19
D O C U M E N T A R Y: 2-22-19 (sic)”
The video also has footage of Offset in the recording studio and him FaceTiming his son in a car.
The solo record was originally set for release on February 14, but was delayed after Cardi and Offset briefly split up.
The “playlist” is set to address Offset’s car crash in May and his marriage.
He said previously: “I’m not really talking too much about Pateks and Lambos because it’s not relatable. “That’s almost like bubblegum rap now, how the people are accepting it. They just get two days of playing it, then it’s over with. This can last and people can feel it .. I’m really pushing my album to be a playlist and not an album, because a playlist is consistently being played for moves, exercises, and different things.”
saying thank you because she’s my daughter. It’s because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete.
“I had like, three songs that I was for sure having — you know how it was. We was like, ‘We have to get this album done so I could shoot the videos while I’m still not showing. It was very long nights.”
The rapper ended her speech by praising her spouse.
She said: “He was like ‘you gonna have this baby, and you gonna make this album.'”

Noel Gallagher hits the studio ahead of intimate UK tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher looks set to debut new songs on his intimate UK tour.
The 51-year-old former Oasis star has been busy penning new tracks for his next solo record in London and Los Angeles.
And now the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker has announced a string of shows for the spring, including a stop at the iconic London Palladium on May 9, where he’s likely to treat fans to a taste of what he’s been working on.
The guitarist-and-vocalist will also play theatres n Edinburgh, Llandudno and Hull, before jetting across the globe to play in Japan and South Korea.
He’ll then head back for more shows on home territory, including Heaton Park in his home city of Manchester on June 7.
After headlining the Isle of Wight Festival on June 14, Noel and his High Flying Birds will play Dublin’s Malahide Castle on June 16.
Noel’s next record will act as the follow-up to 2017’s experimental ‘Who Built the Moon?’, which he worked on with producer David Holmes.
The ‘Holy Mountain’ hitmaker previously teased that the new songs he’s been working on sound like “70s disco” records.
The ‘Live Forever’ songwriter ditched the usual lyrical references and guitar chords that made him famous in favour of fresh riffs for him.
Revealing what the new material sounds like, he said: “Well, 70s disco … like the beginning of the world.”
Noel is carrying on that spirit of change on his next record by looking back to friends and figures from his childhood to inspire his songs rather than look to himself.
Referring to the divide between an audience and an artist when they became super successful, he said: “No one’s ever going to make an interesting album about being a rock star living on Primrose Hill.”
Noel believes the secret to his success as a solo artist is that he has scaled back his ego and learnt that he and his High Flying Birds touring band – which includes former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer and drummer Chris Sharrock – are collectively great.
He said: “I’ve often said to the people in my band, ‘None of us here are the best in the world at anything. We’re a group, we make this noise and people love it.’ For my own part in it, I’m not the best signer or guitarist but I’m the best in the world at being me, nobody can be better than me at being me. All these people have paid to see me so it’s easy, just go out and be yourself.”
Speaking about what he enjoyed about his last tour’s set – which included more electronic and dance influenced songs such as ‘She Taught Me How to Fly’ and ‘It’s A Beautiful World’ – he added: “I don’t really move a lot on stage and there was one bit where I was in like a cage of lasers, I was like, ‘F**ing hell, this is like being in ‘Superman’, it’s amazing.’ It takes away from the fact that I don’t really do a great deal on stage but it does cost a fortune.”
Tickets for the new shows go on sale on Monday (18.02.19) from 10am via www.noelgallagher.com
Noel’s new 2019 UK tour dates are as follows:
May 7, Edinburgh, Playhouse
May 8, Llandudno, Venue Cymru
May 9, London Palladium
May 11, Hull, Bonus Arena

Tiffany Young says Blake Lively inspired her to wear suits

OHMYGOSSIP — Tiffany Young says Blake Lively’s style in ‘A Simple Favor’ inspired her to wear suits “all the time”.
The 29-year-old singer wants to make her look “stronger”, and after watching Blake in the 2018 movie, Tiffany feels inspired to power-dress in “bold” suits.
Tiffany – who was previously a member of girl group Girls’ Generation – said: “Moving back to LA has definitely made me a lot more experimental and open with my style, and more importantly, made me want to embrace being a woman.
“[As part of Girls’ Generation,] I was with a beautiful group of girls who are a lot taller than I am, so I never wore long dresses or pants. Now, I’m definitely gravitating toward suits and long, flowy gowns. It’s made me want to dress bolder and stronger. I loved watching ‘A Simple Favor’ with Blake Lively; it made me want to wear a suit all the time!”
The ‘Lips on Lips’ hitmaker also confessed that after having a facial “religiously”, she picked up a few tips to try at home so she could achieve her signature glow.
She explained to the New York Post newspaper: “I went to the skincare [clinics] religiously when I was there – like, every seven to 10 days. But going so often, I picked up on the routine: steamer, exfoliation, peel, mask.
“There are so many options in K-beauty, whether you want something soothing, hydrating or brightening, but it’s really about understanding and studying your skin and what it needs.
“I do a weekly exfoliation and mask, and I recently got this tool that I love – my friend recommended it to me – called the Exfora, from Vanity Planet. It’s a great replacement for a spa visit.”

Prince Philip won’t be charged

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Philip will not be prosecuted over a car accident last month.
The 97-year-old royal – who voluntarily surrendered his driving licence to police earlier this week – was involved in a road collision in Norfolk on January 17, when the Land Rover Freelander that he was driving collided with another vehicle after bright sunlight made it difficult for him to see the other car, and CPS officials have now confirmed they won’t be taking any further action.
Philip’s car flipped over in the crash and he had to be rescued by a passing motorist, while Emma Fairweather, a passenger in the other vehicle – which also contained the driver’s nine-month-old baby boy – suffered a broken wrist.
It was recently revealed the prince had written a letter of apology to Emma.
The royal – who has been married to Queen Elizabeth II since 1947 – wrote: “I would like you to know how very sorry I am for my part in the accident at the Babingley cross-roads.”
Philip subsequently explained that under “normal conditions”, the accident wouldn’t have happened.
He continued: “I have been across that crossing any number of times and I know very well the amount of traffic that uses that main road. It was a bright sunny day and about three in the afternoon, the sun was low over the Wash. In other words, the sun was shining low over the main road.
“In normal conditions I would have no difficulty in seeing traffic coming from the Dersingham direction, but I can only imagine that I failed to see the car coming, and I am very contrite about the consequences.”
He also apologised for Emma’s injury.
He wrote: “I was somewhat shaken after the accident, but I was greatly relieved that none of you were seriously injured. As a crowd was beginning to gather, I was advised to return to Sandringham House by a local Police Officer. I have since learned that you suffered a broken arm. I am deeply sorry about this injury.
“I wish you a speedy recovery from a very distressing experience.”

John Challis says ITV will regret axing comedy sitcoms

OHMYGOSSIP — John Challis has slammed ITV’s decision to axe all its comedy sitcoms.
The 76-year-old actor – who portrayed Monty Staines in the hit series ‘Benidorm’ – has revealed that he “doesn’t understand” the channel’s announcement it will drop long-running comedy show and insisted people want to watch something “fun” and have a “good laugh”.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Bizarre column he said: “I don’t understand this attitude towards comedy. What other comedy has ITV got at the moment that is so popular?
“It’s what people want. they just want to relax, especially in these difficult times – they just want to relax and let it wash over them and have a good laugh.
“I don’t know who these people are making these decisions – but where I am – I do a one-man show all over and I go to conventions – all I hear is people who want comedy. They want something they can switch on and think, ‘Oh this’ll be fun.’ ”
His comments come as ITV’s director of television announced last week that it was dropping ‘Birds of a Feather’ alongside ‘Benidorm’.
Kevin Lygo, ITV’s Director of Television, said: “We had success with ‘Birds of a Feather’, that was our most successful sitcom in years, but it’s come to a sort of natural end.”
With ‘Bad Move’ – starring Jack Dee and Seann Walsh – also getting axed, Lygo suggested the future of scripted comedy is bleak.
He added: “We had two series of the Jack Dee sitcom but I don’t think we’re continuing with it now. It’s just very, very hard.
“Audiences can get their fix of character-based comedy from ‘Coronation Street.’ ”

Wes Nelson thinks Megan Barton Hanson wishes Dancing On Ice hadn’t happened

OHMYGOSSIP — Wes Nelson thinks Megan Barton Hanson wished he’d never done ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The 20-year-old star split with his 24-year-old partner – six months after they met on ‘Love Island’ – due to the intense training regime of the skating show, and he claimed that she would have preferred a “simpler life”.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ he said: “I think she wishes I didn’t do ‘Dancing on Ice’ just purely because we wanted a simpler sort of life but it’s very difficult when you’ve come out of a show like ‘Love Island’.
“You’ve gotta strike while the irons hot. There’s a sense of, I’m very career driven so after leaving the show I thought strike while the iron is hot. I’ve got all these opportunities ahead of me it would be silly for me not to utilise them.”
The blonde beauty had previously slammed Wes’ professional dancing partner on the show Vanessa Bauer for her “tactical” break-up from Louis Nathaniel, and claimed the skater hadn’t been welcoming towards her.
However, Wes has insisted that Vanessa had nothing to do with their break up and claimed the pair called time on their romance because of his hectic schedule.
He explained: “It’s made out to be Vanessa this Vanessa that and it’s not that. It’s more so the fact that it’s all so time-consuming and you’re away from home all the time and it makes it very difficult to plan things ahead.
“In a normal relationship, you can [plan] ahead you can say ‘oh we’ll go to this place here we’ll have a date night this week’ with my schedule and training it changes day by day week by week.”

EastEnders star Leonard Fenton still gets asked for medical advice

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘EastEnders’ star Leonard Fenton admits people still ask him for medical advice.
The 92-year-old actor is known for his role as Dr. Harold Legg on the BBC soap, having appeared as an original cast member from 1985 until the character was officially retired in 1999, although he went onto make cameos over the next 20 years.
He told the Mirror: “People still request my advice when they get ill.
“There was one amazing case of a woman who went to a friend of mine, who was in group practice, and asked them if she could change to me, and was told, ‘No, he’s an actor’. She got very shirty with him.”
Fenton’s alter ego most recently returned in November last year, and the character is set to sadly pass away on Thursday (14.02.19) following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The actor has reflected on his chance to play the part of Dr. Legg, and described the “old cockney” as a fair reflection on himself.
Calling the part a “lucky break”, he added: “It was the first time I’d played myself on TV. I’m normally a character actor, but Dr Legg was based on me.”
Dr. Legg’s death will also prompt Albert Square returns for George ‘Lofty’ Holloway (Tom Watt) and Mary ‘The Punk’ Smith (Linda Davidson), which both characters set to attend his funeral.
Although Linda initially snubbed the idea of a Walford comeback, she agreed once she found out what the storyline would be.
She recently said: “I said no at first because I always do! I had lunch with [executive consultant John Yorke], who’s been a mate for years.
“They told me about Len’s storyline and asked me to be in the congregation when Dr Legg dies and I said yes. Then John said they’d given Mary a few lines and it went from there.”

Adam Driver didn’t ‘feel right’ wearing KKK hood for BlacKkKlansman

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Driver just didn’t “feel right” wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood in ‘BlacKkKlansman’.
The 35-year-old actor plays Flip Zimmerman in the 2018 American biographical comedy-drama, a police officer who helps the first African-American detective in the city’s police department, played by John David Washington, as he sets out to infiltrate and expose the local chapter of the white supremacist group.
The ‘Star Wars’ actor opened up how wearing the hood of the KKK, who synonymous with America’s racist past, and explained that although he felt like he understood the meaning of the hood, wearing the piece of iconography just didn’t feel comfortable.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said: “Putting on a KKK hood, you feel like you understand what that is, but then when you are wearing it, what it represents is so far from everything I believe in that it doesn’t feel right.”
The ‘Girls’ actor went on to explain that his most memorable moment on set was a scene in which group of characters cheers on a clip of lynching in ‘Birth of a Nation’, and Adam admitted that although “everyone felt uncomfortable” during filming, however, he had to focus on his character and telling the story.
He said: “I feel like for everyone because it was such a large group of people, [it was when characters were] cheering on scenes of lynching in ‘Birth of a Nation’.
“Everyone felt uncomfortable, but that gets lost in the minutiae of working on something. You are working on your character, so you can’t think about how it feels. It is not your job to feel anything; it’s your job to tell the story.”
Driver admits when he originally read the script he was concerned he wouldn’t be able to “pull off” the character.
He said: “I remember having an impression that this is an unbelievable story. As soon as you start reading something, you can’t help but start working on it a little bit. It’s like, ‘Can I pull it off?’ The character’s journey became clear to me, this idea of identity.”

The murderous clown first appeared in director Damien Leone’s 2013 American horror anthology film ‘All Hallows’ Eve’ and was subsequently given his own film in the brutal ‘Terrifier’ which follows the murderous rampage of the psychopathic killer, played by David Howard Thornton, on one Halloween night.
Leone revealed in an Instagram post this week that the script for the gory movie’s sequel is complete and although the filmmaker couldn’t reveal any more details of the film, he has promised that Art is “back and he’s badder than ever”.
The director teased: “For everyone who’s anxiously awaiting news regarding a Terrifier sequel, I can finally tell you that I’ve completed the screenplay and it is &%$#!*@ INSANE!
“Unfortunately, this is the only confirmation I can give right now but rest assured we’re working to bring you Terrifier 2 as soon as possible and we’re very excited to show you where Art’s diabolical journey goes from here! He’s back and he’s badder than ever!”
A post on the Art the Clown Facebook page also confirmed the news.

Margot Robbie won’t return as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is not expected to return in James Gunn’s ‘Suicide Squad’ sequel.
The 28-year-old actress – who is to star in her own DC Extended Universe spin-off movie ‘Birds of Prey’ – will reportedly not reprise her character for the upcoming film for Warner Bros. and DC Comics, as the 52-year-old filmmaker wants to feature a new cast of characters and will avoid any direct tie-in to the first movie, according to Forbes.
The director is reportedly not involving the anti-hero – who is the girlfriend of Jared Leto’s Joker – in any capacity as he is taking “a new approach and rethinking of the property.”
James – who was fired from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ by Disney over controversial past tweets – plans to take the film in a new direction and the movie is also said to have been given the title, ‘The Suicide Squad’, and it looks likely to be a reboot of sorts, rather than a direct sequel.
‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star Margot is set to wrap up the filming of ‘Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of Harley Quinn)’ in April.
The female-led upcoming DC Comics flick is expected to be very different from other movies in the DCEU, as it’s reportedly aiming for an R-rating, making it less child-friendly than previous movies.
