OHMYGOSSIP — Will Smith turned down ‘The Matrix’ for ‘Wild Wild West’ because he wasn’t impressed with the film’s pitch.
The 50-year-old actor revealed that although he’s “not proud” of his decision after meeting the film’s writers, Lana and Lilly Wachowski, he chose not to make the film, which was hailed by critics at the time as “the most influential action movie of the generation”, something he regrets to this day after he saw Keanu Reeves play protagonist Neo in the film.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: “All right this is one of them stories I’m not proud of but it’s the truth. I did turn down Neo in ‘The Matrix’.
“They came in and it was like they’d only down one movie, I think it was called ‘Bound’. And they came in and they made a pitch for ‘The Matrix’. As it turns out they’re geniuses. But there’s a fine line between genius and what I experienced in the meeting.”
Mimicking the writers at the meeting, the ‘Suicide Squad’ star said: “So, dude, we’re thinking like, imagine you’re in a fight and then you, like, jump. Imagine if you could stop jumping in the middle of the jump. But then, people could see around you.”
Looking unimpressed, Will admitted: “So I made ‘Wild Wild West’.”
The ‘Men In Black’ star has nothing but praise for Keanu’s performance in the 1999 film and the sequels as well as Laurence Fishburne, who portrayed Morpheus.
He said: “I’m not proud of it, but … Keanu [Reeves] was perfect. Laurence Fishburne was perfect.”
Although Will missed his chance to play Neo, he joked that due to changes in casting if he had been in the film, he probably did fans a “favour”.
He quipped: “If I had done it – because I’m black – then Morpheus wouldn’t have been black because they were looking at Val Kilmer.
“I was going to be Neo and Val Kilmer was going to be Morpheus, I probably would’ve messed ‘The Matrix’ up, I would’ve ruined it. So I did y’all a favour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt welcomed a new lamb onto his farm on Valentine’s Day (14.02.19) who he has named Cupid.
The 39-year-old actor owns a farm near Washington and as the animal was born on the romantic day he chose to name him after the mythical Roman god of love and desire.
Chris posted a photo of the mother sheep with her new baby in the pen, and wrote: “The first lamb of the season arrived on Valentine’s Day. I think we’ll call him Cupid. Good job Mamma! #farmlife #WeBeLambin’ #lambingseason2019”
Chris – who started farming lambs in 2017 – loves nature and regularly updates his social media page with photos and videos of his many farm animals which includes chickens, lambs and a Texas longhorn.
As well as farming, ‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ star is busy making a start on his wedding plans with fiancée Katherine Schwarzenegger to whom he got engaged to last month.
And the Hollywood hunk – who has a six-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris – is taking an active role in the preparations.
He previously said: “Well, of course we’ve started, and [I’m] pretty involved.”
His brief comment comes after he recently claimed he and Katherine were considering a wedding towards the end of the year.
He said: “We’re maybe [thinking of a] fall, winter kind of thing. We have a lot to get done.”
Chris announced his engagement with a post on Instagram in mid-January, where he shared a snap of the pair with Katherine’s engagement ring on show.
He captioned it: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Whilst Katherine wrote in her own post: “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pink needed stitches after slashing her husband’s tyres.
The 39-year-old singer admitted she was finding the Thanksgiving holiday “stressful” so took out her anger on Carey Hart’s car, only for her rage to backfire as she managed to injure herself on the knife she was using.
Asked the dumbest way she had hurt herself during the ‘Burning Questions’ segment on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, she said: “It was not that long ago. It was Thanksgiving! The holidays are stressful… I got clean through the first one and the second one I lost a little steam. I hit the metal part and my hand just went straight down the knife. I got 13 stitches. But here’s the thing, I didn’t need any anesthesia. I couldn’t feel a thing.”
The ‘Raise Your Glass’ hitmaker also laughed at a rumour about being found “oil wrestling” in a gay bar – and admitted she wasn’t upset about it until it was claimed she’d lost.
Discussing crazy rumours, she said: “[I was in] a gay bar in Louisiana oil wrestling and I lost. I was fine with the rumour until it said I lost. I would not have lost.”
Pink – who has children Willow, seven, and Jameson, two, with her husband – was also asked about her ideal dates.
She quipped: “Where it’s not my idea.”
However, the star also said “no” when the host asked if the motocross star is good at planning dates for them.
Elsewhere, the ‘So What’ hitmaker shared a funny Valentine’s Day (14.02.19) message on her Instagram account.

OHMYGOSSIP — Una Healy’s ex-husband Ben Foden has admitted that he “committed adultery” whilst he was married to The Saturdays singer.
The 33-year-old professional rugby star was married to Una, 37, for four years before they announced their split in 2018 amidst allegations of cheating.
Ben has now broken his silence about their divorce and although he accepts he was unfaithful he says there were other things that contributed to the breakdown of their relationship.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, Ben said: “At the moment anything that’s published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so, because I was the one who committed adultery.
“But at the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through. It’s not ideal but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it. We’re not the first people in the world to get divorced. We’ve got two little kids we adore.”
Ben – who has two children, Aoife, six, and Tadhg, three, with Una – now lives on America’s east coast after signing for Rugby United New York, and the sportsman admits that living across the pond is “hard” because he misses his kids.
He added: “It’s hard because I’m away from my son and daughter. But I know they’re in a great and loving environment with Una, because she’s a great mum. We never argue about that.”
Ben also revealed that the ‘What About Us’ hitmaker Una – who is now in a relationship with David Breen – “jokingly” helped him set up a profile on the dating app Bumble when he moved to America.
He admitted: “I picked up Una from the airport a couple of weeks after we’d first been here, and we were sort of joking about dating. So I loaded up Bumble, and we did the profile together, joking around. And then I realised something dodgy was going on with it and the next day it was all over. It’s not ideal but at least I can laugh about it and especially so with Una. If she hadn’t known about it I can see it would have been a bit of a knife in the back. But we were messing around, so we can laugh and she can call me a bit of an idiot.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner doesn’t like speaking publicly about her relationships if they aren’t serious.
The 23-year-old model – who is said to be smitten with 22-year-old basketball player Ben Simmons – has explained that the reason she rarely discusses her romances is because she wouldn’t want to have to “explain” herself if she ever broke up with the person or it fizzled out as then she’d judged.
Speaking to her friend Hailey Baldwin – who recently got married to Justin Bieber – on Apple Music’s ZAZA WORLD RADIO, Kendall admitted: “I think that especially because of the lifestyle that I live everything is so magnified and everyone wants to know things, especially about your love life.
“A lot of the relationships that I’m in, I’m in it, and I’m in it with that one person and I’m a very loyal person once I’m fully in it.
“I don’t want to let the world have their opinion on something and let them fully into something if I don’t even know what’s gonna end up happening in the next couple months because it’s something I’m going to have to explain.
“The amount of times I see people together for a couple months and they’re together so hardcore and they show it and they flex it everywhere and a couple months later they break up or something happens. “They have to explain themselves to everyone. I don’t want to do all of that unless I’m completely certain in a relationship or it’s been a while.”
Kendall added that relationships should just be about the two people involved.
She said: “I’m in relationships for myself, for me and that other person, not for anybody else, so I don’t find the need to be flexing it like that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Simons and Samantha Womack have had “a lot” of discussions about reuniting on screen.
The former ‘EastEnders’ co-stars – who played on-screen sisters Roxy and Ronnie Mitchell on the BBC soap – had a surprise reunion on ‘Loose Women’ this week and they revealed they have had talks about possible future projects.
Rita – who surprised Sam on the ITV panel show on Friday (15.02.19) – said: “It’s been two and a half years, and people still to this day as fresh as the day we died… it’s like we’ve just been killed. People never forget.
“So there’s been quite a lot of talk for stuff for us to do together, an we just wanna make sure that it’s the right thing. It’s so special, the chemistry we have.”
Her former cast mate added that while they have had “a few” ideas, nothing has leaped out at them yet as the right project.
She said: “We have talked about a few things, a couple of things have been offered but they’re a bit obvious.”
The 46-year-old actress admitted it might be difficult to make any kind of return after the siblings were killed off on New Year’s Day 2017 when they drowned in a pool.
Sam quipped: “You saw the body, so I think that makes it slightly harder. And it was so tough killing that character.”
She still reflects fondly on her time in Albert Square, and had high praise for Steve McFadden – who played on-screen cousin Phil Mitchell – and his skills at acting drunk on camera.
She said: “Actually, one of the best drunk actor’s I’ve ever seen [is Steve McFadden]. And not just because he does it so well but he does it in an environment when he’s got two seconds to prepare.
“He’s literally thrown from one set, on a golf buggy, you get driven round from another scene, and then you get literally spat out on the floor. ‘Right, now cry’ – and he does it.
“He looks unpredictable, and he looks broken when he’s drunk – and that’s a very cool thing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Blake is “shocked and disgusted” by her kiss with Laurie Shelby.
‘Hollyoaks’ star Anna Passey has opened up about her character’s smooch with Kyle Pryor’s alter ego and the row it sparks with his wife Sinead Shelby (Stephanie Davis) at the high school’s inspiration ball.
Anna told RadioTimes.com: “Shocked and disgusted. Sienna is trying so hard to not be intimidated by Laurie, but the kiss was a massive step too far, it made her feel very uncomfortable.”
Laurie intimidated Sienna before kissing her, and unbeknownst to Sinead, he manipulated the teacher into thinking she was to blame for them locking lips.
The storyline will see him twist the events to stop her telling their boss Sally St. Claire (Annie Wallace), before Sinead storms the stage at the school ball and dumps a bowl of punch over Sienna’s head.
Anna added: “Sienna feels trapped and doesn’t know what to do now he won’t stop it. She worries about causing a problem at school and of what people will think. She is afraid that no one will believe her.”
Anna is delighted the Channel 4 soap is taking the chance to shine a light on the important issue of workplace harassment, and unfaithfulness in a relationship.
Praising the team for the way it’s been handled, she said: “It is another big issue-led story that I hope will do some real good.
“The ultimate focus is harassment in the workplace and also within a marriage, it’s such a timely story and Hollyoaks are coming at it with a fresh angle. I’m really excited about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jess Glynne has had to cancel her BRITs Week show due to illness.
The 29-year-old singer was scheduled to play at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London this week for War Child’s BRITs Week Together with O2, however, has had to reschedule to May 22 as the ‘Thursday’ hitmaker is on “strict vocal rest”.
The official War Child Music twitter account said: “We’re so sorry to tell you @JessGlynne’s show for #BRITsWeek together with @O2music is being postponed due to her being on strict vocal rest.
“The show will now take place on May 22nd at @o2sbe. All original tickets will remain valid. Get well soon Jess! (sic)”
The ‘I’ll Be There’ singer apologised to fans explaining that her doctor had ordered her to rest and insisted she “must look after her health”.
She retweeted the message adding: “I’m really sorry that I have to move this show. I hope you understand that I must look after my health and the doctor has told me to rest so I have to do so. I’ll be back in May to do this show and I promise it will be worth the wait.”
The ‘All I Am’ hitmaker is also set to perform at The BRIT Awards 2019 and will be joined by a very special guest, five-time Grammy-nominated H.E.R.
Jess said: “So excited to bring one of my favourite artists, H.E.R., to the UK and perform at the BRITs together … Y’all in for a treat!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus failed to get a $300 million lawsuit against her dropped.
The 26-year-old singer was sued by Michael May in March 2018 over the rights to her 2013 track ‘We Can’t Stop’, which he claimed closely resembles the lyrics to a song he released more than 25 years ago called ‘We Run Things’.
His lyric he stated was: “We run things. Things no run we.”
Whilst the ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ hitmaker sings the line: “We run things, things don’t run we.”
Despite Miley’s attempt to get the suit thrown out, a judge has ruled that the case will proceed.
In documents obtained by The Blast, the judge notes: “In sum, analysis of the relevant factors strongly indicates that Defendants’ use of the Phrase is a fair use.
“Factual questions remain, however, as to certain of the fair use factors, particularly the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the needs of Defendants’ transformative use, and the effect on the market, if any, for May’s work.
“The current record suggests several ways in which Defendants may well prevail on the merits, from a determination that the Phrase was not original to May or that May made only trivial changes to a pre-existing strict Patois version of the Phrase, to indisputable proof that Defendants did not copy from May’s song but instead adopted the Phrase from one of many other sources, to facts establishing fair use as a matter of law. Those determinations, however, must await summary judgment.”
The suit at the time accused the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker of rebranding herself from her “trademark ‘good girl’ Disney Profile” and becoming more “edgy”, and suggested her new music took influence from urban and Caribbean sounds.
May also claimed both tracks feature a theme of “defiant audaciousness in the realm of self-discovery and self-governance”.

The ‘Please Me’ singer has shared a cute video of her seven-month-old daughter, with her face covered up with an emoji, repeating the word whilst her husband Offset attempted to get his little girl to call out for him by whispering “papa” to her.
Alongside the Instagram clip, Cardi wrote: “This what happens when you throw in my face that she said papa first now she can’t stop saying mama @offsetyrn HA (sic)”
Kulture first said “mama” on Sunday (10.02.19) when her mother was awarded with her first Grammy for Best Rap Album for ‘Invasion of Privacy’.
Cardi burst into tears and said “oh my God” after hearing her say the word.
She captioned the video of the adorable moment: “After a week of only saying papa !She saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture ! We love you (sic)”
Cardi – who is getting her relationship back on track with Offset after they split briefly in December – had previously confessed she was concerned the tot might end up saying ”dada” before ”mama”.
She tweeted: ”KK was watching Ric Flair drip on tv yesterday and she said ”Da” …..If she says dada before mama imma feel very betrayed Henny got it on video too . (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — 21 Savage fears he will be deported from the US following his ICE arrest.
The 26-year-old rapper – whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph – was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Georgia earlier this month, after they alleged that he is a British citizen and has overstayed his United States visa for over a decade, however, Savage has since been released on Bond.
The ‘Bank Account’ hitmaker admitted that although he is worried about leaving the US, he has “been through so much in [his] life” that he always adjusts to his surroundings and is “accepting of it.”
When asked whether he was concerned about being deported on ‘Good Morning America’ he said: “Yeah, but I feel like I done been through so much in my life, like, I learned to embrace the times when I’m down ’cause they always build me up and take me to a new level in life.
“So it’s like even if I’m sitting in a cell on 23-hour lockdown, in my mind, I know what’s gonna come after that. So I’m not happy about it. But I’m accepting of it.”
The ‘Rockstar’ rapper went on to explain that he feels he was “definitely” the target of the arrest and admitted he thinks the way they “enforce the policy is broken.”
He said: “I don’t think the policy is broken I feel the way they enforce the policy is broken.
“I don’t even know I was just driving and I just seen guns and blue lights and then I was in the back of a car and I was gone.
“They didn’t say nothing they just said “We got Savage” it was definitely targeted.”

The ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ actor took to Instagram to share a picture of himself holding a single rose and having a meal for one on his private jet, as he returned home from his trip to see his “number one Valentine” Simone, 17 – whom he has with ex-spouse Dany Garcia – for the day.
The 46-year-old former wrestling champ – who also has three-year-old Jasmine and nine-month-old Tiana with his long-time partner Lauren Hashian – also recalled the time his romantic gesture got rejected by a girl he liked when he was a teenager.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper will be singing as himself at the Oscars – not his ‘A Star Is Born’ alter-ego Jackson Maine.
The 44-year-old actor and Lady Gaga – who played lovers Ally and Jackson in the musical blockbuster – will perform the Oscar-nominated song ‘Shallow’ at the ceremony at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on February 24, but Cooper has admitted he won’t be able to use his gravely southern drool as it’s “gone”.
Appearing on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Thursday (14.02.19), he said: “He’s (Jackson) gone. I am not going to try and get him back.
“But I will be me singing.”
However, he is making sure he hits the notes by rehearsing with his vocal coach from the movie.
He said: “I’m going to start rehearsing with this great vocal coach who I love, Roger Love, who I worked with all the time on the movie.
“I hope to be in present and enjoy it and hopefully people love the song sung that night.”
The ‘Burn’ actor recently performed the song with the ‘Born This Way’ star at her Las Vegas residency show, but he pretended to act like a rock star because he “certainly isn’t” one.
He said: “The truth is as was revealed when I went on stage at Vegas, I had to create a character because that guy certainly isn’t a rock star.
“She asked me to come up on stage at her incredible residency that she is doing for two years that you should all go and see and the jazz show, which you’ve got to go see, one night she does which is amazing.
“So I went up there and watch the video back and we went up there and sang it and I just sort of look like this idiot from Philadelphia singing with Lady Gaga…
“Luckily I was on pitch and thank God, but I was like, ‘Oh, Jackson’s gone.'”
Cooper – who also directed the movie – admitted that the thing he was “most terrified” about was getting the accent right, and he stole aspects of his co-star Sam Elliott’s (Bobby) voice.
He said: “Part of when I was knowing I wanted to do this morning and wanting to sing everything live, I had to create these guys, and I am sure you’ve had them, but they are so idiosyncratic and iconic, they are like the rock stars.
“So one of the things I knew I wanted to do, was to lower my voice.
“But I didn’t want to make it too country and Sam Elliott is from Sacramento, but his mother was from Texas, so he has this accent that you can’t quite place, but it’s so wonderfully iconic.”
The ‘Limitless’ star said that he would go to sleep with a sore throat after practicing.
He said: “First of all I would do this warm up all the time … I don’t think I could. The first six months I could only do it like this (with his head down).
“I would go to sleep and my throat would hurt and I thought, well this is never going to happen.
“That is what I was most terrified of, this voice.”

The 23-year-old model was eager to attend the bash staged by Kylie Jenner, Kendall’s younger sister, but a scheduling conflict meant she could only follow the special occasion via FaceTime.
Kendall shared: “I was so upset. It was supposed to happen on her actual birthday, I’m pretty sure on the first, and it rained and everything got postponed so it didn’t happen until I was out of town.
“Which was very unfortunate because I would’ve loved to go and it looked really amazing.”
Kendall said Kylie, 21, made every possible effort to make sure the party was an unforgettable event.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, the brunette beauty explained: “She really went all out.”
Despite not being there in person, Kendall was determined to keep in touch with her family.
She recalled: “My mom [Kris Jenner] FaceTimed me right before everyone got there. I was literally on FaceTime for, I’m not kidding, 45 minutes to an hour. It was so much stuff she had to show me. It was crazy.”
Meanwhile, Kendall – who is currently dating NBA star Ben Simmons – recently admitted she doesn’t like speaking publicly about her romances.

The 36-year-old pop star has admitted that John, 40, is a serious competitor on the upcoming season of the NBC show, which sees Kelly, John, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton compete as coaches.
Kelly confessed: “I’ve never been more terrified to be on this show with a coach than John Legend.
“He’s everyone’s threat, they don’t know it yet. He’s the threat.”
Adam, 39 – who recently performed during the Super Bowl halftime show with Maroon 5 – is also aware of John’s threat on the show.
Adam hailed the award-winning star, admitting he’s “incredibly talented and very charming”.
He told People: “John is a threat. I mean, John has like 4,000 awards and he’s incredibly talented and very charming.”
Meanwhile, Kelly previously admitted she’s turned into “a vampire” since becoming a mother.
The ‘Because of You’ hitmaker – who has a four-year-old daughter called River and a two-year-old son called Remington – revealed that since having her own kids, she’s realised she is “not a morning person”.
Kelly – who has been married to Brandon Blackstock since 2013 – said: “I’m not a morning person. I love the night. I am a vampire.”
The pop star also revealed that when she does have time to herself, she loves to take part in quilting – which is the process of sewing two or more layers of fabric together to make a thicker padded material.
Asked about her favourite hobby, Kelly shared: “I love putting on vinyl and having wine and quilting. It’s fun. I’m not great at it, but I like it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck felt like a “bad father” when he discussed sports with his six-year-old son.
The Oscar-winning star is immensely proud of his Boston roots and was excited to take his son to a Red Sox game baseball game – but was devastated to learn that Samuel prefers teams based in Los Angeles.
He shared: “I was telling my son, particularly, like, you know, ‘We’re really excited because we’re from Boston and this is a big deal and the Red Sox,’ and I’m giving him the whole history. And he listens to me and then he stops and he goes, ‘Dad, you’re from Boston. I’m from L.A.’
“I had, like, a full existential crisis. I failed. I’m a bad father. This is a disaster. I don’t know what to do.”
Ben, 46 – who also has kids Violet, 13, and Seraphina, 10, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner – remains passionate about his favourite sports teams, in spite of their lack of success.
He said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’: “There’s a certain sort of tragic pain that carries with you as a person from Boston that you expect to imbue to your children that they’re going to carry on.
“Sort of like we suffer through the cold and the misery and we lose big sporting events.”
Ben and Jennifer finalised their divorce last year, but have subsequently remained close in order to co-parent their kids.
An insider previously explained: “They want to keep the communication healthy so that they can make decisions together in the best interest of their children. It’s been wonderful for Jen that Ben has been so present and involved.
“She wants to do this right and everyone is so incredibly proud of her for rising above the past and putting the kids first.”
