The 42-year-old comedian has taken to Twitter to reveal the details of his embarrassing sleepwalking incident to his followers, admitting it was “terrifying”.
He wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “I sleepwalked last night – oh my God, not just round the room – in the actual street in my pants – just remember walking on a mission – absolutely terrifying! Seriously!!! [unhappy emoji]
“It’s funny how quickly hotels check you in when you’re in your pants (sic)”
Alan – who has more than five million followers on Twitter – was subsequently inundated with advice from people on the platform.
And despite his embarrassment, the stand-up star was appreciative of the help.
He said: “Aww bless twitter for giving advice – the reasons I sleptwalk have ranged from poor diet to deep psychological problems – thanks guys [laughing emoji (sic)”

The TV star admitted he was bullied because of his distinctive voice.
He said: “I had the most awful thing when I was about 12 or 13.
“I did drama and we said, ‘Let’s watch the playback’ … I was like, ‘What’s that voice?’ My voice soared like a seagull with its wing trapped somewhere.

Jack Whitehall swears on live TV

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine Lampard had to apologise to viewers after Jack Whitehall swore on ‘Lorraine’ earlier today (19.02.19).
The 40-year-old presenter was forced to apologise after Jack, 30, dropped a swear word into the conversation they were having about his job of hosting the BRITs on Wednesday (20.02.19).
Jack said: “Everyone’s there to have a good time, it’s quite a raucous event, the best thing about last year though was that everyone was absolutely p****d.”
Jack – who first hosted the annual awards bash in 2018 – revealed that ‘This Morning’ co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were among the most rowdy members of the star-studded audience last year.
He continued: “You’ve got all these rockstars, the Foo Fighters, people like that that you expect to be very rowdy.
“Yet, still, it was Schofield and Willoughby who were the most drunk in the entire arena and behaving more outrageously than any of the rockstars.
“They put them all to shame so, you know, it’s a crazy event and people want the craziness, they want the raucousness, so you’ve got to just embrace the chaos.”
Jack initially appeared to have been oblivious to his mishap.
But Christine – who is married to retired soccer star Frank Lampard – quickly offered an apology to the ‘Lorraine’ viewers.
She said: “I’m glad you said ‘drunk’ as opposed the other word that you just said – we’ll apologise for that this morning because it is half term.”

Speaking on her newly launched YouTube channel, she said: “The chaos, one wardrobe full of clothes, another here, bit of a mess everywhere. You can see how I drive my husband crazy!

The Spice Girls star has four children, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and seven-year-old Harper with 43-year-old David, and she went on to explain the valuable lessons she installs in her daughter, who stayed at home in London while Victoria was in New York.
She said: “I think that as women we should celebrate the way we look and try and be the best version of ourselves, and not be too hard on ourselves. Be kind, to each other, as well as yourself.
“This is what I say to Harper all the time … it’s not about who is the prettiest girl in the class, it’s not about who is the smartest girl in the glass.
“It’s about who is the kindest girl in the class, and about feeling good about yourself and celebrating that and supporting other women as well.”

Kerry Katona’s daughter spoiled by Westlife

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona says Westlife bought her daughter Molly “all sorts of designer stuff” when she was born.
The former Atomic Kitten singer and former Westlife member Brian McFadden welcomed Molly, now 17, into the world on August 31 2001 and Brian’s then bandmates – Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan – couldn’t have been more generous with the designer goods they purchased for the baby.
Recalling the guys’ gifts in her New! magazine column, Kerry said: “I remember the excitement of my Molly’s first birthday. Ronan Keating bought her a Christian Dior outfit and the Westlife boys got her all sorts of designer stuff. I’d spent £500 on a Louis Vuitton Baby-gro, but what’s the point? By the time my fifth baby came along it was Matalan all the way!”
Kerry – who also has Lilly-Sue, 15, with her first husband Brian, Heidi, 11, and Maxwell, 10, with second spouse Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge, four, with third husband George Kay – married pop star Brian in in 2002 but split two years later.
The ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star admits Brian, 38, is her favourite ex-husband and she will always have fond memories of their time together.
She previously said: “‘He can be a right d***head, that ex-husband of mine. Brian went on ‘Loose Women’ and said that marriage was ‘disposable’ and ‘just a party.’
“I get it – he has a girlfriend and has to be respectful, but it was a weird thing to say considering he was married to me.
“He’s always going to be in my life and I wish him well, but my side of the story is very different. In my opinion, it was my favourite marriage and I’m not going to let him take that away from me.”

Steven Spielberg: Cinemas need to be around forever

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Spielberg thinks cinemas “need to be around forever”.
The veteran director still loves watching a movie in a cinema and although he recognises the rise of TV and streaming services, he’s insisted cinemas must be safeguarded.
He said: “I hope all of us really continue to believe that the greatest contributions we can make as filmmakers is to give audiences the motion picture theatrical experience.
“I’m a firm believer that movie theatres need to be around forever.”
Despite this, the 72-year-old filmmaker – who has helmed some of the best-known films in cinema history – appreciates the talents of people working within the TV genre.
He told Variety: “I love television.
“I love the opportunity. Some of the greatest writing being done today is for television, some of the best directing for television, some of the best performances [are] on television today.
“The sound is better in homes more than it ever has been in history but there’s nothing like going to a big dark theatre with people you’ve never met before and having the experience wash over you. That’s something we all truly believe in.”
Despite his own successes, Spielberg previously admitted he never reflects on his past achievements.
The director – who has helmed hits such as ‘Jaws’ and ‘Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark’ – said: “I don’t look back. I make movies and I work a lot and I look forward all the time. I don’t often look back.”

Mabel: I used to throw up before going on stage

OHMYGOSSIP — Mabel used to throw up before she went on stage to perform.
The 22-year-old singer – who is the daughter of Neneh Cherry and producer Cameron McVey – has revealed she used to get uncontrollable nerves before going on stage, but now she’s finally conquered her fears, she “loves” performing for her fans because the feeling is “magical”.
She told the Times newspaper: “I would love some No 1s. I would love some Grammys and all of that stuff but I want to do it on my own terms.
“We’re just making the best music in the world right now. There’s a strong wave, especially young female R&B artists. It’s important we encourage each other and we’re all really different, so there’s no sense of competition.
“I used to throw up before I went on stage but now I just love it. All the magical stuff happens just past fear.”
Mabel – whose full name is Mabel Alabama Pearl McVey – actually considered “changing” her name because she didn’t want her hard work to be associated with her parents.
But the singer insisted she keeps her career “separate” and has never used her connections to get her foot in the door.
She said: “I did think about changing my name, but I’m really proud of what my mum and dad have accomplished. But I am also adamant that people know I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am.
“I’ve never worked with my parents, never used any of their contacts. We keep family and work separate.”

Russell Brand urges men to communicate about mental health

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand wants men to “communicate more openly” about mental health issues.
The 43-year-old comedian wants more men to speak out about their emotional state and trust that they will be “received warmly and lovingly” by those around them as opposed to be ridiculed.
Speaking in a Twitter video, he said: “Men have got to learn to communicate more openly about mental health issues. Not me, I do nothing but communicate about mental health issues you’d probably like it if I communicate less about mental health issues. But more broadly and in general men have to be more open about their emotional state and trust they will be received warmly and lovingly.”
The actor went on to explain that he belongs to a men’s group where the openness is “unbelievable” and urged male fans to join as in an “exclusively male environment” is “very helpful”.
He explained: “I belong to a men’s group, I mean it’s unbelievable, the openness. Men in exclusively male environment when encouraged to talk will be very, very open. Curiously there’s less competition, less posturing I don’t know what the causes for this are but I do know that for men being mentored by other men being in environments around other men is very, very helpful.”
The ‘Get Him to the Greek’ star went on to explain that acknowledging feelings of “inadequacy” and being “inferior” is an important step in becoming an ally to other people.
Russell – who has two daughters, Mabel, two, and seven-month-old Peggy, with his wife Laura – said: “I feel that we need to trust that any feeling we have of inadequacy of our bodies not being good enough of us being inferior of us not being able to fulfil our role as men, of even knowing what it is to be a man.
“We need to be able to ask those questions so that we can become better allies to other men and to women and other people.”

Gwyneth Paltrow ‘wasn’t scared’ of Harvey Weinstein

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow “never had any problem” standing up to “bully” Harvey Weinstein.
The 45-year-old actress was one of many Hollywood stars to speak out about the disgraced producer’s behaviour in the wake of the New York Times expose on his inappropriate sexual conduct towards numerous women, claiming that he harassed her during the filming of 1994 movie ‘Emma’.
Paltrow – who also starred in Weinstein’s Miramax Pictures movie ‘Shakespeare in Love’ in 1998, for which she the Best Actress Oscar – is adamant that she was never intimidated by Weinstein because she was the “consumer face” of Miramax and felt it was “her duty to push back against him”.
In an interview with Variety, she said: “He was a bully, I never had a problem standing up to him. I wasn’t scared of him.
“I also felt for a period of time, I was the consumer face of Miramax, and I felt it was my duty to push back against him. We had a lot of fights.”
Paltrow went on to explain that the pair often had disagreements and would have “knock-down, drag-out fights” when she worked with him.
She said: “He was a very difficult boss. It was a fraught relationship. We would get in knock-down, drag-out fights.
“I remember once, my mother [Blythe Danner] walked in a room, and I was yelling at him about something. She was like, ‘Who was that on the phone?’ ”
When her daughter told her, she responded, “Oh, my goodness, good for you. Stand up for yourself.”
The ‘Iron Man’ star previously claimed she had been sexually harassed by the movie mogul – who has been accused of sexual misconduct by dozens of women – and that the pair had a “classic abusive relationship”.
Paltrow previously gave an interview published in the New York Times in which she alleged that Weinstein put his hands on her and asked for a massage.
She said: “I had one really uncomfortable, weird experience; then he was never inappropriate with me again in that way.”

Gwyneth Paltrow to retire from Marvel films

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow is planning to quit making Marvel films.
The 46-year-old actress – who portrayed Pepper Potts in ‘The Iron Man’ and ‘The Avengers’ films – has revealed she wants to quit the series because she thinks she is a “bit old to be in a suit” now she is in her mid-40s.
Speaking about her plans to leave the Marvel films, Gwyneth told Variety: “I mean, I’m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point.
“I feel very lucky that I did it, because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with [‘Iron Man’ director] Jon Favreau. It was such a wonderful experience making the first ‘Iron Man’ and then to watch how important it has become to the fans.”
The Hollywood star won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1999 for her performance in ‘Shakespeare in Love’.
But Gwyneth has admitted she initially turned down the role because she was in the midst of a break-up from Brad Pitt when she was given the script.
She shared: “The movie had many iterations. Julia Roberts was going to do it for a long time, and then that version fell apart. It ended up in Miramax, and I was the first person they offered it to … I was in the middle of a terrible break-up [with Brad Pitt] and the idea of going to England and being far from home just seemed … I didn’t even read it.
“I was just like, ‘I can’t read anything right now. I’m having a really hard time.'”

Stephen Fry ‘dodged a bullet’ after prostate surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Fry “really dodged a bullet” by opting to undergo an operation for prostate cancer.
The 61-year-old comedian and actor went under the knife to have his prostate removed in January last year at Princess Grace hospital in Marylebone, London, after his doctor found his PSA levels – which are an indicator of cancer – to be “higher than he liked”, and deemed there to be “something mischievous going on in the prostate region”.
Stephen then underwent an ultrasound and biopsy which found his prostate to be “seriously diseased”, and opted for surgery to remove his prostate, rather than try radiotherapy and hormone treatment.
Now, the ‘Love and Friendship’ actor says he’s “very lucky” to have made a full recovery.
He said: “I feel that with the help of an able, friendly and wonderfully proficient team I have really dodged a bullet here. The aggressive nature and rate of the carcinoma suggests that had I left it unattended I might well have been presented with serious issues.
“As it is, I feel very, very, very lucky and privileged.”
Stephen made his comments as part of a “both sides of the scalpel” article in a medical journal, where he teamed up with his surgeon, Ben Challacombe, to describe the reality of using robotic surgery to help other men considering having their prostate removed.
Following his operation, pathology results post-surgery confirmed that all cancerous tissue had been removed, and Ben admits he was “relieved” he’d been successful.
In the article, Ben wrote: “He was delighted and I was relieved – you don’t want to be the surgeon who doesn’t get it all out on a high-profile patient.”

Gwyneth Paltrow had ‘hard time’ after Brad Pitt split

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow had a “really hard time” during her split from Brad Pitt.
The 46-year-old actress romanced the ‘Fight Club’ star from 1994 to 1997 and the pair even got engaged before calling it quits, and Gwyneth has said she felt to “terrible” about the break-up that she very nearly turned down the chance to star in ‘Shakespeare in Love’.
Speaking to Variety, she said: “I was in the middle of a terrible breakup and the idea of going to England and being far from home just seemed … I didn’t even read it. I was just like, ‘I can’t read anything right now. I’m having a really hard time.'”
Gwyneth eventually accepted the role and ended up winning a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in 1999.
Meanwhile, despite their tough split, the ‘Iron Man’ actress previously praised Brad for defending her after she confided in him when Harvey Weinstein allegedly tried to lure her into his hotel room and asked for a massage.
Gwyneth described Brad, 54, as “the best” for not being afraid to use his “fame and power” to warn the producer away from her when he approached Weinstein on the opening night of a Broadway production of ‘Hamlet’.
She said: “He told me exactly what he said. He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.’ It was great.
“It was the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically.
“He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet … he’s the best. I love him for this.”
The Goop founder – who is now married to producer Brad Falchuk and has children Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with ex-husband Chris Martin – previously claimed Weinstein warned her not to tell anyone what had happened between them.
She said: “I thought he was going to fire me. It was brutal … I was expected to keep the secret.”

Kylie Jenner scared of plastic surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner is “terrified” of plastic surgery.
The 21-year-old reality star is often plagued by rumours that she’s gone under the knife to alter her features, but has now said any speculation about concerning surgery is “completely false”, because she’s too scared.
Kylie said: “People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I’m terrified! I would never.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who has 12-month-old daughter Stormi with her boyfriend Travis Scott – has had lip fillers in the past, and says people “don’t understand” how much those temporary changes can alter the way her face looks.
She added to PAPER magazine: “They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.”
Kylie has been self-conscious about her lips for several years, and admitted on her spin-off show ‘Life of Kylie’ that she decided to get fillers after a boy she kissed told her he thought she’d be a bad kisser because of her thin lips.
She said: “I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ But I took that really hard.
“I would overline my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips. And then finally I was like this lip liner isn’t doing it. [I] ended up getting my lips done.”
The lip kit mogul dissolved her lip fillers in the summer because she wanted to lead a more “natural” life after the birth of her daughter, but has now started getting them in moderation.

Dolly Parton’s husband isn’t her biggest fan

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton says her husband is “not necessarily one of her biggest fans”.
The ‘9 To 5’ hitmaker has revealed Carl Thomas Dean – who she has been married to since 1966 – is more of a fan of hard rock and bluegrass music than Dolly’s country style but she insists he’s really “proud” of her and her long career.
She said: “He felt like he’d get nervous if I messed up and all that. He’s not necessarily one of my biggest fans of my music. He’s proud of me. And he loves that I love what I do. I think it’s just … it’s a touchy subject. I’m like his little girl I think. He just worries about that. He likes hard rock and Led Zeppelin and bluegrass music. He doesn’t dislike it, he doesn’t go out of his way to play my records, let’s put it that way.”
Dolly has been married to Carl for over five decades and she has revealed the secret to their longstanding romance is “laughing a lot” together.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, she added: “You know I think that’s true – the fact that we like each other, we respect each other, we’ve always had a good time. He’s crazy and I’m crazy. We laugh a lot and I think that’s been one of the most precious parts of our relationship. We’ll have been married 53 years this coming May.”
Dolly and Carl’s first date was at a McDonald’s drive-through and since then they have always enjoyed low-key evenings out.
She said: “When I met my husband, he wanted to take me out to dinner. He pulled up to the drive-in window and got our food at McDonald’s. We know a few little places we can go without being bothered. He only likes to go places where he can be comfortable! …
“I always joke and laugh when people ask me what’s the key to my long marriage and lasting love. I always say ‘Stay gone!’ and there’s a lot of truth to that. I travel a lot, but we really enjoy each other when we’re together and the little things we do.”
