OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande and Piers Morgan had a “great night” together after they met at a restaurant and put their row behind them.
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker and TV presenter have clashed a number of times over the years, including when the broadcaster got into a feud with girl group Little Mix over a naked photo shoot prompting Ariana and her mother Joan Grande to message him on Twitter to defend the group for stripping off to promote body positivity.
However, they now look to have moved on after an unlikely meeting in an eatery on Tuesday night (19.02.19), when Piers tweeted: “Thank u for a great night @ArianaGrande x (sic)”
The 25-year-old singer’s fans were shocked when she replied thanking him for “some laughs and some v productive conversation”, adding the hashtag “#FutureFeministPiers”.
She explained: “Well… we bumped into each other at a restaurant. and I decided to sit with him and we spoke for a while.
“I think some progress was made! Turns out face to face discussions are a bit kinder and gentler, even if you do indeed disagree. 🙂 (sic)”
The pair first clashed in 2017 when Piers criticised Ariana for flying back to the US in the aftermath the Manchester terror attack which left 22 dead and more than 50 injured at her concert.
However, he later took to social media and admitted he had “misjudged” the pop megastar after she organised a benefit concert in the English city.
The One Love Manchester concert was held at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground and broadcast on television around the world, with all net profits from the event going to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund set up to help those affected by the suicide bombing.
Piers wrote on Twitter: “I thought Ariana Grande was wrong to fly off after #ManchesterAttack. But tonight she’s putting on a fabulous show. #OneLoveManchester
“I’ll say this too about @ArianaGrande – she has a cracking voice. By far the best vocal performance tonight… #OneLoveManchester

OHMYGOSSIP — Karl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat Choupette is reportedly set to inherit his entire £150 million fortune.
According to French newspaper Le Figaro, the German creative director of Chanel – who passed away on Tuesday (19.02.19) at the age of 85 – could have his entire multi-million pound fortune handed over to his Birman feline under German law, providing she had been nominated as his “heir” through an association or foundation.
Karl was given the animal in 2011 after model Baptiste Giabiconi asked him to look after his pussy whilst he was travelling, leading to the fashionista bonding with the cat and deciding to keep make the feline his permanent friend.
Speaking to Numero magazine last year about leaving his vast fortune to Choupette, he said: “Among others, yes. Don’t worry, there is enough for everyone. She has her own little fortune, she’s an heiress.”
Karl passed away after battling ill health for several weeks. He was admitted to hospital in Paris, France, on Monday evening (18.02.19) and passed away Tuesday. The cause of death has yet to be made public.
However, the style icon had very specific plans for what should happen after his passing.
Speaking in April last year in an interview which has surfaced since his death, he said: “There will be no burial … I’ve asked to be cremated and for my ashes to dispersed with those of my mother … and those of Choupette [his cat], if she dies before me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Love Island’s Samira Mighty has been receiving flirty direct messages from a “worldwide famous” sportsman.
The curvaceous beauty – who split from Frankie Foster, who she met on the ITV dating show, last year – previously confessed that she once went on a date with actor Chris Pine and has now revealed a very “famous” sportsman has been sending her messages.
When Samira was asked whether any celebrities had been sending her any “direct messages” since she had become single, she spilled: “I had one. But I can’t say! He’s worldwide famous. I was a bit shocked. to be fair. I actually can’t say. He might kill me. He’s in sport.”
However, the 22-year-old television star revealed romance would not be on the cards for her and the mystery sportsman as she isn’t interested.
In an interview with the Heat World website, she said: “Nothing there for me. However I’m very, very flattered.”
During her time on ‘Love Island’, Samira told her fellow contestants she had dated ‘Star Trek’ actor Chris Pine after he approached her at the GQ Men of the Year Awards after-party in 2016.
She said: “GQ Man Of The Year after-party … and I thought I recognised this guy from the Disney Channel. I thought, ‘My God he was in that movie with Lindsay Lohan,’ and he kind of moved to me and I thought, ‘He seems fun, he seems cool.’ I kind of looked him up and thought, ‘He’s actually a pretty big deal.’

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman has achieved his dream of making it into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The 50-year-old actor previously revealed that he and his brother were desperate to set a record growing up but he has now become a record breaker thanks to his multiple performances as ‘X-Men’ character Wolverine.
In an interview with Alison Hammond on ‘This Morning’, Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of Guinness World Records, presented ‘The Greatest Showman’ star with his certificate for having the longest career as a live action Marvel superhero having played the mutant for 16 years.
Upon receiving his certificate, Jackman exclaimed: “That is officially amazing!”
Jackman holds the record with fellow ‘X-Men’ star Sir Patrick Stewart as both have had Marvel careers that span 16 years 228 days as Wolverine and Professor Charles Xavier respectively.
Both actors made their first appearance as Marvel superheroes in ‘X-Men’ in 2000, with their most recent appearance being in ‘Logan’ in 2017.
Speaking via video link on the UK TV show, Stewart, 78, said: “I have discovered that you and I are now in the Guinness Book of Records, congratulations my friend there’s another thing to hang on to a wall.”
A post on the official Guinness World Records Twitter account showed Jackman getting his certificate from Glenday, which was captioned: “Welcome to the family, @RealHughJackman. Congratulations on your record-breaking @Marvel career as Wolverine.”
Jackman and his brother had attempted to beat the record for playing “badminton nonstop” as they thought it would be the “easiest way” to get into the book.
He said:” My brother and I did come up with the easiest way to get in; badminton nonstop is about 54 hours. So we both decided to stay up for two nights to see if it was possible it was a school night I, of course, fell asleep all day through school I just loved that at that age we were thinking somehow that would work.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Glenn Close is “trying to stay calm” during the lead up to the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday (24.02.19).
The 71-year-old Hollywood legend is up for Best Actress for her role in ‘The Wife’ at the upcoming ceremony, her seventh nomination and the one she is hoping to end her losing streak with.
Close is looking forward to attending the Oscars and she is trying not to think about what she would do if she were to win the golden statuette and she wants to assure all her supporters she will be “OK” if she leaves empty-handed once again.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she said: “I’m feeling good. Just trying to stay calm. Trying to think about, you know, the sky, the trees, the grass … It would mean a great deal. It’s the highest honor you can get for what we do, and so that, in itself is … it’s just a great honor.
“Don’t be disappointed if I don’t win! Because we’ll all be OK.”
Earlier this week, Close insisted she didn’t want to be recognised for her work on ‘The Wife’ just because she hadn’t won an Oscar in the previous 45 years.
In an interview with The I Paper, she said: “It would mean a lot but I wouldn’t want it to be a pity Oscar after 45 years.
“People have been going back and looking at my basic body of work and the six times I lost and what those roles where so I can’t pretend it’s just for ‘The Wife’ but I feel like everyone’s rooting for me.”
In ‘The Wife’, Close plays Joan Castleman, a spouse who questions her life choices as she travels to Stockholm with her husband where he is going to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature.

OHMYGOSSIP — 50 Cent has been left fearing for his life over an alleged police threat.
The ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker – whose real name is Curtis Jackson – has spoken out after reports the New York Police Department is investigating claims a commander allegedly threatened the star by telling members of his force to shoot him on site.
Sharing the news story with his followers on Instagram, he wrote: “I’m afraid for my life, I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard of this.
“The cops never notified me of the threat. I’m closing all my business in New York. I may have to sue the city.”
According to New York Daily News newspaper – who reported the original story – Deputy Inspector Emanuel Gonzalez made the comment during a roll call, but it’s said he meant it as a joke.
An NYPD spokesman confirmed that the incident is under review.
Meanwhile, Fiddy, 43, has also revealed he turned down a $500,000 to appear at Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017.
The hip hop star claimed he was offered a huge amount of money to make an appearance as the US President was sworn in two years ago, and he snubbed the cash because he felt he was being asked to sway “the African American vote”.
Appearing on ‘The Late Late Show’, he told host James Corden: “They offered me half a million dollars to go. Just to come. I didn’t do it because I didn’t know if I could fix the damage.
“To be honest with you, all money’s not good money. I don’t know how to fix that. I was like, ‘Woah.’ Don’t bring me to fix the African American vote.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley “cut dairy and eggs” from her diet to help clear her adult acne.
The 31-year-old supermodel – who has 20-month-old son Jack with her fiancé Jason Statham – has always been honest about her battle with zits and to combat her breakouts she has altered her diet to prevent her from getting oily skin.
Sharing her skincare secrets on her YouTube channel Rose Inc, she said: “So I get a lot of people asking me what my skin type is, well on a good day, I would probably have just a couple of spots, and on a bad day, it could be a lot. I’ve always had a little bit of acne because it’s something my mum had. It’s something I’m always trying to better so I’m quite diligent about my skincare routine. I have oily skin and so that’s always something I’m trying to keep in check and use the right products to support that and also sometimes I have to cut things out of my diet. “So currently I’m cutting out eggs and dairy which is really boring because they’re all my favourite things, but there is nothing better than having good skin.”
Rosie also spilled that to maintain the best complexion she can, she always makes sure to remove her make-up when she is at home.
She added: “When I’m at home I don’t usually like to a lot of make-up on, I like to let me skin breathe so usually when I get home one of the first things I try and do is get into my bathroom and remove my makeup of the day and freshen up my skin and make sure I have some nice products on my skin to be about the house in.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Simmons will make his ‘Hollyoaks’ debut on Tuesday (20.02.19).
The 44-year-old star – who has starred in the likes of ‘The Bill’ and ‘Casualty’ – will play brand new character Stuart Sumner, and his first appearance will be broadcast toight on E4.
The soap’s official Twitter account confirmed the news, and said: “New cast member alert! We’re pleased to announce that @chrissimmons38 will be joining the #Hollyoaks family as Stuart!
“Make sure you give Chris a warm welcome, and tune in this week to watch his first scenes!”
It’s said Stuart will be connected to The Teahouse – which used to be known as Esther’s Magic Bean – and he could cross paths with the likes of Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson).
Chris said: “I’m delighted to join the cast of ‘Hollyoaks’. For me to play Stuart is a real challenge that I relish.
“As an actor you are always looking for something to challenge and stretch you; this character certainly does that…”
The actor – who has appeared in shows such as ‘Holby City’ and ‘Doctors’ is still best remembered for playing the role of DC Mickey Webb in ‘The Bill’ from 1998 until the show’s finale in 2010.
His new role could also see him reunited with former co-star Moya Brady, who appeared as F.D.O. Roberta Cryer in the police drama and can now be seen as Breda McQueen in ‘Hollyoaks’ after joining the cast last year.
He may also be familiar to soap fans, having made guest appearances in ‘EastEnders’ eight years ago as Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) love interest Mark Garland.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella “totally got drunk” on her date with Peter Kraus.
The ‘Total Bellas’ beauty – who split from fellow WWE Superstar John Cena last year – has been dating again after the breakdown of her engagement, and she has opened up about her first date with the ‘Bachelorette’ hunk.
Appearing on ‘Busy Tonight’, she told host Busy Philipps: “Brie sets me up on a date with Peter from ‘The Bachelorette’ and that was my first date in over six or seven years. It was so awkward and I totally got drunk.”
Her twin Brie added: “You were very awkward. I saw the date back.”
Although she’s used to living out her life in front of the cameras for her reality show Nikki, 35, suggested having the crew there for a first date made things “so weird”.
She said: “I think that’s what embarrassed me a lot because here I am having this first date and all of the sudden I look to my left and it’s like two camera crews and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, this is so weird.’
“I didn’t even want to flirt because it was just so weird and awkward.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Gyllenhaal says his ‘Spider-Man’ co-star Tom Holland is the “nicest guy in the world”.
The 38-year-old actor is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as villain Mysterio in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and he has hailed 22-year-old Tom, who plays the film’s titular hero, as a great person.
Speaking on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’, he said: “He’s great, dude. He’s awesome. He’s the nicest guy in the world. I’m super into him as Spider-Man. He’s just amazing, he just is.”
The ‘Donnie Darko’ star announced his casting by using his first ever Instagram post to reveal he would be playing the evil magician.
He shared a video of himself reading a ‘Spider-Man’ comic entitled ‘The Return of the Man Called Mysterio’, which was initially covering his face, but he then lowered the booklet so his open-mouthed expression could be seen and then exclaimed: “Woah. What the f**k.”
He captioned the post: “I just realised I’m not playing Spider-Man.”
The ‘Nightcrawler’ actor explained that he had joined Instagram as “nobody cares about anything anymore” so he felt comfortable joining the social media website.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mandy Moore felt like she was “drowning” in her marriage to Ryan Adams.
The ‘This Is Us’ star spoke out last week to accuse her ex-husband of being “psychologically abusive” and she admits their relationship was an “entirely unhealthy dynamic”.
She said: “I was living my life for him … being the mother. It’s an entirely unhealthy dynamic. I had no sense of self … I was so small. It was so untenable and unsustainable and it was so lonely. I was so sad. I was so lonely with him. I knew this was not the person I was meant to be with.”
And the 34-year-old actress and singer claims she found it hard to work whilst she was with Ryan because he needed a “constant stream” of attention.
Speaking on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, she added: “I would do little jobs – it’s not like I completely stopped working. But it would become abundantly clear while I was working, things would completely fall apart at home. I couldn’t do my job because there was a constant stream of trying to pay attention to this person who needed me and wouldn’t let me do anything else.”
Mandy had previously insisted it is always “worth” speaking out, even if the truth is “painful”.
Lending her support to other women who have experienced “trauma or abuse”, she wrote on Instagram: “Speaking your truth can be painful and triggering but it’s always worth it. My heart is with all women who have suffered any sort of trauma or abuse. You are seen and heard. #sisterhoodforever.”
Ryan’s lawyer has denied the allegations, saying they were “completely inconsistent with [Ryan’s] view of the relationship” and that he supported her “well-deserved professional success”.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star finds it “annoying” how she is constantly being challenged on social media about her parenting skills, including most recently, her choice to have her nails done.
Under one post of her new manicure, one critic wrote: “Pretty but how do you take care of a baby with those long nails!,” whilst another user added: “Khloe is more into her nails than her baby!! (sic)”
And Khloe later took to Twitter to admit she found the negative messages “annoying”.
She shared: “It’s annoying when people talk about my nails. Trust me, I manage just fine. The same way I take care of myself, I take care of my baby. There are more serious things to discuss. At least I would hope. happy Monday to you (sic)”
The 34-year-old television personality – who has 10-month-old True with her partner Tristan Thompson – had previously hit back at those who have criticised her for “focusing too much on her body” following the arrival of her daughter as she hit the gym less than a month after True’s arrival.
Speaking on Snapchat at the time, she said: “The beginning parts of working out kind of suck because you’re pushing your body so hard, you’re so tired. It’s much more difficult than you expect it to be. I’ve been working out for 11 days now, I feel really good, but tired. My body is sore because it’s re-waking itself back up. What I’m annoyed about is I’ve read a couple of times on Twitter that, ya know, they feel that I’m focusing too much on my body, but the truth is, I’ve worked out five or six days a week before I got pregnant and that’s my sanctuary and something I love to do. I want to start doing that now and get back to my rhythm and in between feedings I want to find time to work out because that’s going to be my new normal. Just because I have a baby, doesn’t mean I have to stop doing the things that I love, and I love working out and getting my mind right.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen “chipped her tooth” whilst she and husband John Legend filmed ‘Family Feud’.
The 33-year-old model and the ‘All of Me’ hitmaker are set to appear on a forthcoming episode of the iconic game show with family members, including her mother and sister and John’s brother, and it was all kinds of chaos.
Sharing a side shot of her laughing in her closet, Chrissy wrote on Instagram: “I can’t say if we won or lost family feud but we definitely brought a flask, I definitely chipped a tooth and there was definitely a record set.”
Andy Cohen was one of the first celebrities to comment on the photo.
The 50-year-old talk show host wrote: “You chipping a tooth is iconic.”
Chrissy had previously taken to Twitter to reveal she and her family would appear on the popular series – which sees families go head-to-head matching a series of answers given to survey questions asked to groups of people, with the family with the biggest total winning.
The Legend family will battle it out against cast members from ‘Vanderpump Rules’.
Chrissy tweeted last week: “breaking: john and I are taping family feud against the cast of F–KING @PUMPRULES Sunday!!!!”
Whilst the show’s star Katie Maloney wrote: “I’m so friggin excited!!!!!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently had her own real-life family feud over pizza rolls.
The brunette beauty was left disappointed when she trusted her 40-year-old husband to order her favourite childhood pizza because a miscommunication with the ‘Ordinary People’ hitmaker meant the singer ordered completely the wrong thing.
Tweeting to her 10.8 million followers, she said: “I am having a Totino’s craving. I don’t want a great pizza. I want a pizza from my childhood, with sliced fresh tomatoes on top.
“He said ‘how many boxes do you want’ and I said first of all loser it’s in a bag now. So we Postmate some.(sic)”
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ host went on to explain how she and John got into a heated debate about the best way to “ensure crispness” while they waited for their order, with Chrissy believing the pizza should go on the rack and the ‘All of Me’ singer insisting it should be cooked in a pan.
She continued: “Pizza still 20 minutes out, he goes ‘do you want the tomato on top of it’ and I was like no idiot under it, yes it goes on top.
“We talk about my childhood a bit. How this pizza shaped my life no big deal. We get the notification. John yells ‘it is herrrre!!’ Like Oprah. (sic)”
However it turned out John had misunderstood her and ordered pizza rolls instead of pizza, and Chrissy wasn’t happy about it revealing: “this is an actual fight now”.
She added: “It’s pizza rolls. He has no idea Totino’s makes pizza. But more importantly, he thinks I am so stupid I would think tiny pizza rolls go directly onto the rack and that I would want tiny slices of fresh tomato on a god damn singular pizza roll”
She then shared a video of herself trying to prove her point by throwing the pizza rolls through the gaps in the oven rack.
However, the couple – who have children Luna, two, and Miles, eight months – resolved their conflict and Chrissy ended the saga by posting a selfie, taking a bite out of a pizza topped with a slice of tomato.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans and Channing Tatum were almost cast as Jake Sully in ‘Avatar’.
James Cameron, the director of the 2009 sci-fi blockbuster, has revealed that Sam Worthington had competition from the two huge stars for the lead part, but the relatively unknown actor won over the 64-year-old filmmaker with the “intensity” of his voice on the final speech in the movie.
Speaking to the Empire 30 podcast, Cameron said: “Chris Evans, and Sam, and Channing Tatum.
“That was my choice.
“I really liked Channing’s appeal. I liked Chris’ appeal. They were both great guys.
“But Sam had a quality of voice and a quality of intensity.
“Everybody did about the same on all the material through the script, except for the final speech where he stands up and says, ‘This is our land, ride now, go as fast as the wind can carry you.’
“That whole thing.
“I would have followed him into battle.
“And I wouldn’t have followed the other guys.
“They’ve since gone onto fantastic careers and all that, but Sam was ready. He was ready.”
Meanwhile, Edie Falco recently joined the ‘Avatar’ franchise.
The 55-year-old actress is set to star in Cameron’s four upcoming sequels as General Ardmore.
Although plot details are being kept under wraps, The ‘Sopranos’ star’s character has been described as the leader of the fictional Resources Development Administration, the largest single non-governmental organisation in human space.
The official ‘Avatar’ Twitter account announced: “We are thrilled to share that Edie Falco is joining the #AvatarFamily as General Ardmore, the Commander in charge of the RDA’s interests in the Avatar Sequels! (sic)”
The original film is set on the alien world of Pandora inhabited by the Na’vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved, as the planet’s environment is poisonous, human/Na’vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on the planet.
Sully (Worthington), a paralysed former marine becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na’vi woman (Zoe Saldana), however, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world when the RDA threaten to destroy it.
‘Nurse Jackie’ star Edie was welcomed to the cast by Cameron, who insisted the actress is “one of the greats”.
The director tweeted: “Edie Falco is one of the greats – I can’t wait to watch her kick some ass on the big screen.”
The first movie will be released in 2020, followed by the other three in 20121, 2024 and 2025.
The first ‘Avatar’ film still remains the highest-grossing movie at the worldwide box office, raking in as much as $2.79 billion.

The ‘Call Me By Your Name’ star is said to be in “final talks” to play the Caped Crusader after Ben Affleck stepped down from the role last month.
It is believed Armie will play the legendary DC Comics character in Matt Reeves’ June 2021 standalone movie, ‘The Batman’, whilst Robert Pattinson is also being lined up for a role in the movie as one of the villains.
Ben announced he was stepping down as Batman in January.
He tweeted: “Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life.”
Ben had initially been attached to both star in and direct ‘The Batman’, but opted to step down from his role behind the camera in 2017.
However, he insisted at the time that giving up directing didn’t mean he wouldn’t be playing the character either.
He previously said: “Let me be clear. I’m the luckiest guy. Batman is the coolest f**king part in any universe, DC, Marvel. I am so thrilled to do it. I know there’s this misconception that because I’m not directing it, that maybe I wasn’t enthusiastic about it. It’s f***ing amazing! I still can’t believe it after two films. Kevin Tsujihara, Sue Kroll and Toby Emmerich said to me, ‘We want you to be our Batman. Matt Reeves, doing it, I would be an ape on the ground for Matt Reeves, never mind be Batman. It’s incredible! I’m really blown away and excited. It’s a great time in the DC universe… and you can see why I am so excited to play Batman.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins is giving up dieting.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star has decided to love her body for what it is and has shunned dieting and all the “weight loss nonsense”.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Stop wishing for other people’s bodies. Find peace in your own. Just eat food. Eat real food, be active and live your LIFE. Forget all the diet and weight loss NONSENSE. It’s really just that … NONSENSE. Spreading LOVE and POSITIVITY. (sic)”
Her comments come just days after the ‘Dancing On Ice’ star vowed to continue with working on her fitness, despite being booted off the skating show.
She shared at the time: “I will 100 per cent keep up with the fitness and I’m saying this on national TV because I feel so much better, like I could just move a lot more, I can do my shoes up. I’ll be honest I had about three tyres round my middle and they’ve gone. I’m still a bigger girl but when I got on the scales, I was shocked because I’ve actually lost two and a half stone. It never goes off my face, I think I need some sort of lifting surgery. I was shocked I couldn’t believe and just feeling fit. I don’t know what form of exercise I’m going to do yet. I might take to the rink but for an enjoyment purpose, skate round for an hour, you know, because it is good exercise, but I really do want to continue with my fitness.”
