Kylie Jenner’s ‘important’ butterfly connection

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner had her daughter Stormi’s nursery decorated with butterflies because they’re “really important symbols” to her and Travis Scott.
The 21-year-old reality star and her ‘Sicko Mode’ hitmaker boyfriend have a “personal connection” with the winged insects, and so the couple decided to adorn the walls of their 12-month-old daughter’s nursery with butterfly-themed artwork in order to “bring that energy” into the room.
Interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard – who worked on Kylie’s home – said: “Butterflies are very important to Kylie and Travis [Scott]. Butterflies are really important symbols to Kylie and Travis so she wanted to bring that energy into Stormi’s room. They have a very personal connection. I think it was because when they met there were butterflies around. We have a beautiful theme with artwork of butterflies in the nursery. There is some colour in the nursery but it’s mostly from the artwork.”
Stormi’s playroom also has its own theme, completely with microfibre clouds that float across the ceiling.
Martyn added: “There are giant clouds that float all across the ceiling and they all change colour. It looks like cotton candy floating across the ceiling.
“They’re made out of microfibre. They change colour and dim and brighten and they’re the most magical thing. It’s adorable. They’re amazing.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star was already planning on redesigning her Hidden Hills mansion before she discovered she was pregnant, and Martyn says they had to “rework” the design plans in order to fit in a nursery and a playroom.
Speaking to People magazine, he said: “We just started the project and then she told me that she was pregnant. We reworked some of the design for the baby, of course. We had to make a proper nursery and change another room for a playroom, and just make the house somehow kid-friendly but still maintain the power and strength of the design Kylie wanted.”

Christie Brinkley: Critics don’t phase me

OHMYGOSSIP — Christie Brinkley doesn’t let criticism hold any “power” over her.
The 65-year-old model and actress has said she feels more confident than ever now that she’s older, as her age and experience has taught her that the opinions of strangers don’t matter, as long as she has people around her who love her for who she is.
She said: “Around 50, you start letting yourself off the hook, and you have a real awareness of priorities and what really matters. Others’ opinions just don’t have power over you anymore. The only opinions that really matter to you are those of the people you love.”
And the ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ actress isn’t worried about getting older, as she knows ageing is “inevitable”, but she admits she is “concerned” about “living up to the image” of older women.
She added: “When I started doing the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue [in 1979], I was very concerned about trying to live up to the image they projected of this hot body in a bathing suit. I’m kind of in the same situation with ageing. Ageing is inevitable. If I’m lucky, I’m going to be running around as an older woman with my hard-earned wrinkles. It’s inevitable.”
Christie still feels as young as ever though, as she says she sometimes forgets how old she is.
Speaking to Us Weekly magazine, she said: “I honestly have had years in my life where I’d be like, ‘Wait a minute, how old am I again?’ I just don’t think about it.”

Dua Lipa: St. Vincent is ‘amazing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa thinks St. Vincent is “amazing”.
The 23-year-old singer collaborated with St. Vincent at the Grammy Awards earlier this month when they performed a mash-up of Dua’s ‘One Kiss’ and Vincent’s ‘Masseduction’, and Dua has dubbed the 36-year-old singer as “incredible”.
Speaking on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards at London’s O2 on Wednesday (20.02.19), she said: “She is amazing. I’m such a fan of her work, and when I got asked to collaborate with her and she was up for it and I was up for it, we just kind of jumped at the opportunity and made the most of it. We put our songs together and she’s so collaborative and so … honestly I have not enough nice things I can say about her because she’s just incredible.”
Dua’s appearance at the BRITs – where she performed ‘One Kiss’ with Calvin Harris, alongside Sam Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man – comes just 10 days after her Grammys performance, and the star says the quick turnaround has been “surreal”.
“It’s surreal. Crazy. And honestly I feel like I’ve been in rehearsals for the past month just getting ready for it all, but it feels so good to be home.”
And despite having been at many award shows, she still isn’t used to the experience.
When asked if she’s a pro at award ceremonies now, Dua said: “No. Always really weird, always really nervous. Everything’s so exciting, but I get really nervous when I’m performing because I just … I dunno, I just wanna put on a really good show so I feel a lot a pressure with that. But I’ve turned all my nervous butterflies into really excited ones, so that’s where I’m at.”

Serena Williams to present at the Oscars

OHMYGOSSIP — Serena Williams and Barbra Streisand are among the “unique talents” who will introduce the Best Picture nominees at the Oscars this weekend.
The tennis superstar and the ‘Evergreen’ hitmaker – who is herself a two-time Oscar winner – will take to the stage during Sunday’s (24.02.19) ceremony alongside a host of other talent including chef José Andrés, Dana Carvey, Queen Latifah, Congressman John Lewis, Diego Luna, Tom Morello, Mike Myers, Trevor Noah and Amandla Stenberg.
According to a statement from Oscars producer Donna Gigliotti and co-producer and director Glenn Weiss, the group will all be introducing the nominees for Best Picture at the event.
Their statement read: “Movies connect us all. They move us, and they create moments and memories that unite us. We are thrilled to assemble this well-known array of film lovers to introduce and share their reflections on the Best Picture-nominated movies.”
The latest list of names comes after Dame Helen Mirren, Michael B. Jordan, and Pharrell Williams were added to the list of presenters this week, in an announcement which also included Elsie Fisher, Danai Gurira, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Keaton, John Mulaney, Tyler Perry, Krysten Ritter, Paul Rudd and Michelle Yeoh.
All those stars will be joining previously announced presenters such as Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lopez, Whoopi Goldberg, Awkwafina, Chis Evans, Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson, and Constance Wu.
And for the first time in three decades, the award show looks set to go ahead without a host, after Kevin Hart stepped down from the role when some of his past controversial tweets emerged – which he has since spoken out twice to apologise for.
Following his decision, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences are said to be lining up a select group of A-listers to introduce the segments rather than one host.

Chris Hemsworth to play Hulk Hogan in biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth will play Hulk Hogan in a new biopic.
The 35-year-old actor is set to take on the role of the wrestling legend in a new biographical film being made about Hogan, which has Todd Phillips on board to direct.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, deals for the project are in the midst of closing with Netflix, and Bradley Cooper is also attached as a producer alongside Phillips through their banner Joint Effort.
Scott Silver will pen the script with the help of John Pollono, and Michael Sugar will also produce through his Netflix-based Sugar23.
Hemsworth himself will be on board to produce too, as will Eric Bischoff.
The movie will tell the story of the rise of WWE superstar Hulk Hogan – whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea – who is one of the biggest names in wrestling, as he became a fixture on TV sets in 1980s America.
Hollywood Reporter claims the biopic will not try to encompass Hogan’s entire life, but will instead focus on his rise and is described as an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.
Hogan himself will serve as a consultant on the movie as well as executive producer, alongside Sugar23’s Ashley Zalta who will also executive produce.
For Hemsworth, his casting in the film comes as Hogan previously listed him as an option for the role back in 2013, after seeing him in ‘Thor’.
He said at the time: “We need a serious, serious actor that knows what he’s doing. You know who I thought would be good? That guy that did that action movie ‘Thor’.”
As of the time of writing, the production is still in its early stages, meaning there is no official title yet, and no further casting announcements have been made.

Willow Smith: It was hard to speak about self harm

OHMYGOSSIP — Willow Smith found it “hard” to speak about her experience with self harm.
The 18-year-old singer confessed during an episode of her mother Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’ in May 2018 that she had started “cutting herself” as a way to cope with the mounting pressures of fame following the success of her single ‘Whip My Hair’.
And now, Willow has said she found that episode to be the toughest one to film, because it wasn’t “easy” being so open about her struggles.
She said: “I think by far [the hardest episode to film] would had to have been the episode where I was talking about my self-harm. I mean nobody wants to come out and tell the whole world about that but I felt that was very important for other girls or boys that are going through that as well for me to come out and talk about my life. But it’s never easy.”
Despite finding some topics tough to talk about, Willow also praised the show – which she stars on with her mother and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Jones – for helping her releasing you can be “successful” no matter what your background.
She added: “I think the most surprising thing I’ve learned being on the show is that no matter what you go through, no matter how dark that is in your past or in your childhood or the things that you went through, you can come out amazing and still do even more and be even more successful.”
Willow also spoke about the best piece of advice her mother has given her, which she said was simple to be herself.
Speaking to Essence magazine, she said: “It’s always stuck with me. It’s so simple but I feel like it encompasses the core of most of the internal issues that I face in my life. It’s always don’t care about what anyone else thinks. You have to be yourself. You have to do what makes you happy. I feel like that’s a core of a lot of issues that people have internally in their life is caring too much about what people think and not putting themselves first and their happiness and their spiritual evolution first.”

Jordyn Woods moves out of Kylie Jenner’s house

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordyn Woods has moved out of Kylie Jenner’s house.
The brunette beauty has agreed to give her best friend some “space” following rumours she has been unfaithful with Tristan Thompson, the boyfriend of the Kylie Cosmetics guru’s half-sister Khloe Kardashian, and will be returning to live with her mom.
A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Kylie is extremely upset about everything that is going on with Khloe and her best friend Jordyn. Jordyn is a sister to Kylie, and she’s extremely shocked this could happen, as is the whole family.
“Kylie is trying to get all the facts before she makes up her mind, but for now Jordyn isn’t staying at Kylie’s. Kylie needs her space and also wants to respect her sister Khloe. The future of their friendship hangs on the facts.”
While the rumours haven’t been officially confirmed, Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian West has unfollowed both Jordyn and Tristan on Instagram.
Khloe – who has 10-month-old daughter True with the basketball player – previously used her own Instagram account to comment on a report about the 27-year-old NBA star’s alleged infidelity.
Responding to a post on Hollywood Unlocked that claimed Jordyn had stayed at Tristan’s house until 7am after a house party, Khloe responded with a series of shouting emojis, but the image is often used when agreeing with a statement.
What’s more, her close friends Malika Haqq and Larsa Pippen also responded to the post with more positive messages, seemingly supporting the idea of Tristan being exposed for his alleged cheating.
Malika wrote: “STRONG FACTS! (sic)”
Whilst Larsa simply added: “Amen!”
However, Tristan seemingly branded the report as “fake” as moments after the post was uploaded, he tweeted – and then deleted – the words “FAKE NEWS (sic)”.
It was previously claimed Kylie felt “very torn” over what to do about Jordyn.
A source said: “The whole family is writing Jordyn off. [Kylie’s been] in denial for days. She is very torn on how to handle the situation. Khloe is more disappointed that someone so close to their family would betray her. She can’t believe it.”
Khloe – who has had to deal with the pain of being cheated on before after Tristan was seen getting close to another woman just days before she gave birth to their daughter True – is “shocked” by Jordyn’s betrayal.
An insider added: “She heard it from multiple people and doesn’t believe him for a second. She is angry more than she is sad. And she’s shocked Jordyn would do this. Of all the guys in the world, she can’t fathom why Jordyn would make a decision like this. Khloe is reliving the worst kind of betrayal and pain all over again.”
Tristan and Jordyn apparently got close when they went with a “group with mutual friends” to see Drake and went back to Tristan’s for an after party.
The source previously said: “Tristan and Jordyn were definitely hanging close to one another and were being very flirty. Tristan had his arms around her at one point. Jordyn stood by him the entire time they were out and he was laughing and smiling at her. Jordyn stayed at Tristan’s house partying with him and his friends until the early hours of the morning, and they were very touchy. They sat together on the couch and were talking and cuddling for hours. They had chemistry the entire night and everyone could see it … You could tell they were into each other.”

Jussie Smollett charged with filing false police report

OHMYGOSSIP — Jussie Smollett has been charged with filing a false police report following his alleged racist and homophobic attack.
The ‘Empire’ actor had claimed he was the victim of a shocking assault in Chicago last month but doubt was cast over the situation when it emerged he knew two men investigated over the alleged attack, brothers Ola and Abel Osundairo, and now a Cook County Grand Jury have charged him with a felony offence that could see him spend up to three years behind bars if found guilty.
However, lawyers acting for the 36-year-old star have vowed to “mount an aggressive defence” against the charge.
Attorneys Todd Pugh and Victor Henderson said in a statement: “Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked.
“Given these circumstances, we intend to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount and aggressive defense.”
According to TMZ, the two brothers who had been investigated told the jury they had been paid to stage the attack at Jussie’s behest.
They were caught on camera buying supplies including ski masks, gloves, bandanas, sunglasses and red hats, and are said to have told police they spent days driving with Jussie to find a location for the incident to take place and even rehearsed their attack.
The actor will appear in court on Thursday (21.02.19).
The star’s lawyers recently claimed he was “angered and devastated” by suggestions he had staged the attack.
They said: “As a victim of a hate crime who has co-operated with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is angered and devastated by recent reports that the perpetrators are individuals he is familiar with.
“He has now been further victimised by claims attributed to these alleged perpetrators that Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and anyone claiming otherwise is lying.
“One of these purported suspects was Jussie’s personal trainer who he hired to ready him physically for a music video.
“It is impossible to believe that this person could have played a role in the crime against Jussie or would falsely claim Jussie’s complicity.”

Christy Carlson Romano gives birth to second daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Christy Carlson Romano has given birth to her second child with husband Brendan Rooney.
The ‘Kim Possible’ star – who already has two-year-old Isabella Victoria with the film producer – welcomed baby daughter Sophia Elizabeth into the world on Monday (18.02.19).
The Disney star told People: “Welcome to the world, Sophia Elizabeth!”
The little one weighed a healthy 7 lb 2 oz and Christy admitted labour was “like a vacation” after suffering from a bad bout of flu, whilst she said it was a breeze compared to walking in high heels on the ‘Kim Possible’ live action red carpet last week.
She said: “Between moving to a new home, walking the Kim Possible red carpet in 6 inch heels, 4 cm dilated, and a stomach flu that hit the whole house 24 hours before I delivered, labor with this little angel was like a vacation!”
The 34-year-old actress – who is best known for playing Ren Stevens in the sitcom ‘Even Stevens’ – revealed the couple were expecting their second child last August.
She said: “I always wanted two kids and I feel so blessed to have this experience again.
“My husband and I are overjoyed that our little girl is going to have a sibling.”
Christy – who tied the knot with Brendan in 2013 after two years of dating – previously said she wants to bring up her children to “believe” anything is possible.
She said: “It was so much fun to find out that Izzy is going to have a little sister.
“We are going to raise both our daughters to believe that they can do anything!”
Christy – who voiced the titular character in ‘Kim Possible’ between 2002 and 2007 – always wanted to have two girls and had a feeling she was having another daughter from the beginning of her pregnancy.
Speaking about their gender reveal party, which saw them reveal the sex of the child by unleashing a pink dust cloud, she said: “Brendan and I planned our gender-reveal photo shoot and had the photographer buy the coloured smoke (which was safely released)!
“We both had a feeling from the beginning that it was another girl. My pregnancy has been almost exactly like the first.”

Robbie Williams to join Hugh Jackman on tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman will be joined by Robbie Williams at “one point” on his tour.
The 50-year-old actor is “a big fan of having guests on tour” and has invited the ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker to join him on stage on the UK leg of his extensive run – although he didn’t reveal which date.
Letting the news slip whilst speaking to Marvin Humes on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards at London’s The O2 arena on Wednesday night (20.02.19), Hugh said: “Concerts should feel like something happened that night that couldn’t happen anywhere else.
“So, I don’t know if I should say, but Robbie’s going to join me at one point.”
Hugh will perform ‘The Man. The Music. The Show’ for multiple dates across Europe and the UK before he heads to the US for shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and Los Angeles’ famous Hollywood Bowl.
He will perform tracks from his blockbuster musical movie ‘The Greatest Showman’ plus the music of ‘Les Miserable’ and more from Broadway and films, accompanied by a live orchestra.
In the UK, Hugh will perform at Manchester Arena on Friday, May 24, and then onto Birmingham Resorts World Arena on May 27. After a show at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on May 30, he will return to the UK for two shows at The O2 on June 2 and June 3.
One person who won’t be joining the Australian actor on tour is Ryan Reynolds.
The ‘Logan’ star turned down his rival’s offer to join him on the road.
He said: “He’s like, ‘I’ve been working on my dancing.’ I’m like, ‘Dude!'”
And while he might not be ready to let the 42-year-old Canadian actor join him on his first-ever world tour, he does have some special guests in mind to treat his fans, including Pink – who also performed at the BRITs, which saw Hugh open the ceremony with ‘The Greatest Show’ – and Janelle Monae and Kelly Clarkson.
Revealing his wish list, he said: “I’m asking everybody I want, even crazy asks … I’d love Pink to come with Willow and sing ‘A Million Dreams’, I’d love Sting to come, I would love Janelle Monae, I would love Audra McDonald to come, I would love Kelly Clarkson – there’s so many people that I would love to come.”

Holly Willoughby parts ways with Diet Coke

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby has ended her endorsement deal with Diet Coke.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ presenter has reportedly opted out of renewing her $450,000 contract with the soft drinks company after two years because she has too many commitments and wants to spend more time with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three children, Harry nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Holly is one of the bubbliest personalities on TV, so she was a fitting choice to become the face of a fizzy drink.
“But she’s got so much on her plate, what with This Morning, Dancing on Ice and all her other work commitments, that she felt she needed a break.
“They’ve parted amicably and she’s looking forward to spending more time with her family now she has one less commitment.”
As well as hosting ‘Dancing On Ice’ and ‘This Morning’, Holly stood in for Ant McPartlin on the 2018 series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ and has endorsement deals with Marks and Spencer and Garnier.
Diet Coke have confirmed they won’t be working with the 36-year-old beauty this year.
They said: “For this year’s campaign, we have no plans to work with Holly, but that’s not to say we wouldn’t work together again in the future.”
Holly’s decision comes a few months after she stepped back from lifestyle brand Truly, shortly before it was due to launch.
She used Instagram to confirm the news that she wouldn’t be involved in the company, which is a venture between Peter Jones, his wife Tara, 45, and Holly’s sister Kelly, 40, all of whom all directors of the firm.
She wrote: “After much consideration, I have made the decision to step away from Truly.
“To launch a brand needs total dedication and at the moment, with so many other commitments, this is not something I feel I can do without it starting to affect my family time at home. I wish Truly all the success for the future.”
At the time, it was claimed her decision had been made so she could be with her family more.
A source said: “It was a really tough decision for Holly, but it’s one that’s come quite late in the day. Truly was meant to launch in the next few weeks but at the 11th hour, she’s said she could no longer be a part of it.
“It will mean the whole launch will now be pushed back until next year, which is a major headache.
“It’s about what’s best for her family. It was a hard decision but the right one for Holly and her husband Dan. She’d done a load of publicity around the launch of it just weeks ago. So it was a real last minute decision.”

Jordan Banjo has enjoyed not having to dance

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Banjo has enjoyed not having the “pressure” to dance on ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
The Diversity star has admitted that it has been nice to co-present Simon Cowell’s BBC One show alongside Alesha Dixon and not have to take to the stage to perform and instead be a spectator.
He told What’s On TV: “Well, there hasn’t been any pressure on me to dance, which has been nice for once.
“At the auditions, I really enjoyed sitting with the friends and family of the acts and just watching loads of talented people dance.”
The 26-year-old presenter – who won ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ with his brother Ashley Banjo and the rest of the street dance troupe in 2009 – says he has no idea who is going to win the first series of the show, which sees Cheryl Tweedy, Matthew Morrison and Oti Mabuse as judges.
He said: “Usually with these shows there’s a clear front-runner. But, even as a dancer myself, I really don’t know who’s gonna win!”
A decade has past since Diversity beat Susan Boyle to be crowned winner of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, and Jordan – who has been left with a number of injuries thanks to his dance career – can’t believe how quickly it’s gone by.
He said: “No! It’s crazy. It makes me feel old. I’m sat here, a couple of injuries deep, surgery on my knees, wondering what’s happened to me…”
Jordan – who is expecting his second child with partner Naomi Courts, with whom he already has eight-month-old Cassius – also gushed about his brother Ashley – who is currently a judge on ‘Dancing on Ice’ – and said to him he is the “greatest dancer”.
Asked who is dancing hero is, he said: “He’ll probably hate me for saying this but that would have to be my brother Ashley.
“He’s helped me with everything from dancing to TV presenting to advising me on getting my first mortgage.
“Ash is a kid from Essex, who’s been teaching dance since he was 12 and who built Diversity from the ground up. For me, he’s the greatest dancer.”

Michael B. Jordan’s The Silver Bear gets director

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael B. Jordan’s film adaptation of ‘The Silver Bear’ will be directed by Gerard McMurray.
The 32-year-old actor is set to star in and produce Lionsgate’s movie based on the books of the same name by Derek Haas, taking on the role of dangerous assassin Columbus.
McMurray – who is known for helming 2018 thriller ‘The First Purge’ – was a producer on Jordan’s breakout movie ‘Fruitvale Station’ in 2013.
Frank Baldwin is penning the script and the ‘Creed’ star is producing through his own Outlier Society, whilst Haas is among a team of executive producers under Nickel City Pictures.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group’s chairman, Joe Drake, commented: “‘The Silver Bear’ is the kind of story that needs to be experienced on the big screen and Michael is the perfect movie star to inhabit the skin of this dynamic character and take us into the cinematic world of Columbus.
“We’re incredibly honoured that Michael and Nickel City chose Lionsgate to partner with in bringing this exciting property to life.”
The suspense novel follows the tale of hit man Columbus who is tasked with killing presidential candidate Abe Man.
The tome is part one of three, which means there is the potential for the movie to become a franchise.
Meanwhile, Jordan signed up to play the Tom Clancy character John Clark in a forthcoming film series.
He was approached by Paramount to play the hero in two upcoming movies, with an origin story planned for an adaptation of ‘Without Remorse’ and a sequel centred on ‘Rainbow Six’.
He is set to produce the project alongside Akiva Goldsman, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.
The studio spent years trying to get movie adaptations off the ground, with Ryan Reynolds and Chris McQuarrie having previously been linked to the project.
He’s also signed up to produce the WWII movie ‘The Liberators’.
Michael’s schedule continues to grow after the Hollywood star admitted he wanted to spend more time behind the camera in the coming years.
He said previously: “For me, producing and creating opportunities and telling stories is something that I’ve always been fascinated with.
“To be able to have my own production company, be able to start telling more stories and get more on that side of things, it’s important to me. So I’m not going to put a timeframe on it or whatever, but in the future for sure I’ll spend more time producing and hopefully directing and telling stories.
“Then I’ll pick my projects that I’m really passionate about, that I really want to do as far as getting in front of the camera and I’ll do those as well. It’s about trying to find a balance.”

Calvin Harris’ expensive BRITs performance

OHMYGOSSIP — Calvin Harris spent almost £80,000 on dancing animals for his BRIT Awards performance.
The 35-year-old DJ – who scooped both British Single for his Dua Lipa collaboration ‘One Kiss’ and Best Producer at the ceremony on Tuesday (20.02.19) – insisted on having a crab and dragon made for his segment to echo those featured in the video for his award-winning single, The Sun newspaper reports.
And that’s not all, as Calvin spared no expense on other elements of his performance – a medley for which he was joined by Dua, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Sam Smith and Winnie Harlow – including snow, a forest, a mountain, raining rose petals, pyrotechnics, a giant glitter ball and 100 backing dancers.
The ‘Acceptable in the 80s’ hitmaker’s wins at the O2 in London on Tuesday were his first trophies following 14 previous unsuccessful nominations.
Dua’s performance with Calvin at the BRITs came just 10 days after she took to the stage at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles to sing with St. Vincent and she admitted it was “surreal” to fit in two such high-profile events in a short space of time.
She said: “It’s surreal.

Speaking to Inside Soap, he teased: “There’s a secret that will be revealed in due course – the audience will be shocked!
“he family dynamic will start to make more sense, in terms of why the Deverauxs have come to the village, and how they link up to the Lovedays… There are a lot of surprises to come!”

He recently joked: “My agent never told me about any stripper scenes. The stripper scene was my first scene I shot for ‘Hollyoaks’.
“I didn’t know the full details until the morning of the shoot, so I get on the ‘Hollyoaks’ set, which was my first time ever, with the director Miguel.
“He’s smiling and telling me what’s expected and what his vision is, and all along I’m just waiting for him to tell me that he’s joking, and that there’s no way I’m going to be stripping on national television.
“But after the third take of me grinding on Nana McQueen with a bunch of extras in nothing but tiny shiny gold pants, there was something in my head that was telling me, ‘Welcome to ‘Hollyoaks!” ”

Jack Ryder set for doomed Doctors role

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Ryder will play Charlotte Hill’s dead husband Grant in ‘Doctors’ as she looks to clear her name.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actor will be back in the world of soaps with his new role in a series of flashbacks as Charlotte – played by Debra Stephenson – tries to prove she wasn’t to blame for his death, and the actress thinks viewers will go “backwards and forwards”.
Speaking to Inside Soap, Debra said: “[Charlotte] was imprisoned for the murder of her husband Grant, but her conviction has been quashed because of a forensics mix-up.
“So she’s lonely and vulnerable and desperately trying to clear her name.
“Over the next few weeks, viewers will probably be going backwards and forwards with what they make of her. Is she capable of having murdered her husband, or is she a completely innocent woman who’s been hard done by?”
It’s said that Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) will also be a suspect for his death, as viewers will find out she used to have a crush on Grant when they worked together.
Debra added: “Charlotte’s absolutely furious. She believes that Valerie killed Grant.
“Filming the flashbacks was great fun as we see that Charlotte was a real high-flyer before prison – she’s had a lot of money and success, and she power-dressed! And now she’s lost everything – her money, her power, her friends…”
Meanwhile, Jack – who played Jamie Mitchell in ‘EastEnders’ – will also be appearing on BBC’s ‘Holby City’ this year after it was confirmed he had signed on for the hospital soap.
‘Doctors’ airs on BBC every weekday at 1.45pm.
