OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas is set to front new CBeebies show ‘Our School Summer Camp’.
In the BBC kids’ series, the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge will be leading young people on a variety of activities which viewers at home could copy during their summer holiday from school and the 58-year-old dancer will have a “fairy godmother type role” on screen.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Shirley is really excited about the project and can’t wait to start. She’ll have a fairy godmother type role and will be a breath of fresh air on the channel.”
Shirley was chosen for the show because she has “garnered a young fan base” since joining the BBC ballroom show and it is the perfect project to fill her year before she returns to the ‘Strictly’ panel later this year.
The source said: “She’s garnered a young fan base over the past two years since her breakout role on ‘Strictly’. This is the ideal job for her before her judging commitments start again in autumn.
“She has so much energy and can’t wait to get started”.
Shirley was part of this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour’ and showed the sell-out audiences what she could do on the dancefloor.
Shirley stopped dancing competitively in 1996, and and she admitted she loved showing off her moves once again for an audience.
She previously said: “It feels incredible to dust off my dancing shoes again – I feel very blessed. I love being out there dancing and being able to meet fans of the show.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Keeley Hawes wasn’t prepared for how famous she became after ‘Bodyguard’.
The 43-year-old actress received a BAFTA nomination for Leading Actress for her performance as home secretary Julia Montague in the award-winning BBC show and admitted that it was a “surprise” to see the show become so popular.
Speaking on the ‘The Graham Norton Show’ on tonight’s episode (05.04.19) she said: “It is so nice and such a surprise. It’s so flattering and really lovely.”
The ‘Line of Duty’ star went on to explain that after “being in the business so long” it was “interesting to gain a lot of recognition and suddenly becoming “hot”.
She said: “When you’re 43 it’s a bit weird – you’ve in in the business for so long and suddenly you’re ‘hot’. It’s an interesting thing.”
The hit show saw Keeley’s character- who was protected by Richard Madden’s PC David Budd – killed off in at the end of the first season in an epic explosion.
Keeley went on to explain that to prepare for the role she observed Amber Rudd – who served as Home Secretary from July 2016 to April 2018 – and confessed even the politician was keen to know about the show’s upcoming plotlines.
She said: “I watched Amber Rudd a lot for research. I actually bumped into her in a restaurant and she told me she really enjoyed the show. She did ask me if I was really dead!”
The ‘Durrells’ actress previously admitted that she can’t escape her alter-ego Julia and has even been stopped in the streets of Corfu, Greece, during filming for the ITV drama.
She said: “This is the best place for me right now, I think! Being away from it all is amazing – in the middle of nowhere on a small Greek island.
“Although I’ve still heard what’s going on. It seems there’s no escape from ‘Bodyguard’. Even here in my Corfu bubble people come up and ask me about it!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran has approached Heinz with an idea to create a ketchup advert with the company.
The 28-year-old singer is such a big fan of Heinz’s tomato sauce that he even has a tattoo of the food company’s logo in tribute of the red stuff and Ed has now taken to Instagram to ask the brand if they want to collaborate with him because he has an “idea” for a commercial as their ketchup’s “biggest fan”.
Ed captioned a photo of him posing with the iconic ketchup bottle: “Yo @heinz I have an idea for a tv ad if you wanna do one, if not I won’t be offended, I could never be mad at you. Slide in my DMs or have your people call my people. Lots of love, your biggest fan x (sic)”
Heinz has now replied to the ‘Perfect’ hitmaker asking to hear his thoughts so they can “team” up.
Heinz replied: “Yo yourself @teddysphotos! We’re all. Actually, we’re all. But you get the idea. And we’d love to hear YOUR idea. Sorry, we’re nervous. Team Heinz is hitting you up RIGHT NOW. (sic)”
It was previously revealed that Ed has such an appetite for the condiment that he has made sure one of his crew has a bottle of Heinz Ketchup on their person at all times so he can be handed it if they’re ever eating somewhere which doesn’t have Heinz’s special sauce.
A source said: “Ed’s made no secret of his Heinz Ketchup obsession and has run out of patience with going to places that don’t serve it while he’s touring. He’s made it a duty of key members of his entourage to carry a bottle wherever he goes so he can have it with everything from his morning sausage butty to upmarket dinners.”
Ed has even said that if he was the UK Prime Minister he would make ketchup compulsory “in all places with chips”.
He has also admitted it is the one product he would use his celebrity status to endorse.
Previously speaking about his desire to work with Heinz, he said: “I think everyone knows how much I love ketchup. I would endorse my own ketchup. That is the one thing I would endorse. If anyone from Heinz is around that would be great. And I would love to go swimming in a big bowl of ketchup too at their factory.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine McGuinness is “done” with having children.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star has confessed that she and husband Paddy McGuinness – who have five-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, who have autism and two-year-old and Felicity – won’t be having any more kids as they find it “hard” to “manage their time” with their current brood.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, the blonde beauty said: “[We] wanted six children – but we are done, not because we don’t want another autistic child, but we are stretched because the children do have autism, it’s hard to manage your time.”
Last month, the 31-year-old reality star admitted that she sometimes feels like a “single parent” because of her husband’s hectic work schedule but has now revealed things are getting “much better” and says her kids are learning to “socialise” and “manage their meltdowns”.
She said: “Things are getting much better, we were quite down and depressed when we first started talking about it, they’ve come on so much. Paddy is away working, I love him to bits, he’s doing it for us, but it’s difficult sharing yourself among three children.
“They’re learning to manage their meltdowns, we don’t have a bad life, we live in a happy home and I’m so, so proud of them.
“They are learning to socialise, which we never thought they’d do, it does get easier.”
Christine previously divulged that she was finding it “really tough” coping with her kids on her own most of the time because Paddy is working on four different TV shows; ‘Top Gear’, ‘Celebrity Juice’, ‘Catchpoint’ and ‘Take Me Out’.
She said: “I would be lying if I said it’s great. It’s not, it’s really tough. At the moment I barely see him. It is getting to the point now where I feel it is overwhelming and too much. I feel like a single parent at times. I keep thinking it will quieten down soon but actually I don’t think it will.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Swash got caught watching porn on his girlfriend Stacey Solomon’s phone.
The former ‘Eastenders’ actor – who is expecting his first child with the ‘Loose Women’ panellist – forgot to “delete” his X-rated browsing history when he was using his beau’s phone and she got to see what naughty sites he’d been visiting.
Joe also once fell asleep in the middle of watching TV sex chat phone-in show ‘Babestation’ and when Stacey’s sons got up in the morning and turned on the television they caught a glimpse of the lingerie-clad beauties.
Speaking to HuffPost UK at a Build LDN event, Joe said: “I borrowed her phone to use it for porno purposes. I forgot to delete the history on it. This had been going on about a week. Stacey went through the week’s history of porn. There was another time – I must have put ‘Babestation’ on and went to sleep. The next day, when her and the kids got up, they put the TV on and ‘Babestation’ was on.”
However, after getting caught enjoying adult entertainment by his long-time partner Joe decided that honesty would be the best policy and just admit he likes babes.
He simply added: “Just own it.”
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ winner also opened up on one occasion when Stacey – who he started dating in 2016 – vomited “all over” his white walls on one of their first dates after the couple got drunk on wine.
Opening up about one of the pair’s first dates, he said: “Stacey is not a big drinker, I am not either. You are at that stage where you don’t fart in front of each other. We got to the shop to buy another bottle of wine and she ran up my stairs and by the time she got to the top of my stairs she had puked all the way up my white walls. Red claret all over the walls. But I quite enjoyed that. It just gave me more ammo for later in the relationship. That is what relationships are about really – getting ammo to use against them!”
Stacey, 29, has two sons, Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six, from previous relationships, whilst 37-year-old Joe has 11-year-old son Harry with his ex-partner Emma Sophocleous and the couple are now expecting their first child together.
And Joe insisted that their “relationship works” because the ITV panellist has a “great memory”.
Joe added: “Stacey is brilliant at that, she’s got a great memory and remembers things from weeks ago. Stacey will tell me she’s told me to do something, when she hasn’t. I made a fish stew last night, there was no word of me doing dinner today. It always ends up with me being wrong but that’s the way relationships work.”

The former Atomic Kitten singer is very impressed with the way the Take That frontman has gone from being “the fat one” to the most hunky member of the band and she admits she has a soft spot for him.
She said: “[Gary’s] gone from being the fat one in Take That to the fit one. I’d definitely give him one.”
And the 38-year-old star praised the father-of-three for launching an online slimming club as she remembered him being “huge” when she met him at one of her first husband Brian McFadden’s Westlife concerts several years ago.
Speaking in her New! magazine column, she said: “I read that Gary has set up an online slimming club. I love this! I remember meeting him at a Westlife concert years ago and at first I didn’t recognise him because he was so big. Honestly, he was huge. OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Thalassitis has been laid to rest.
The ‘Love Island’ star tragically took his own life in March at the age of 26, and on Friday (05.04.19) he was laid to rest at Christ Church in Southgate, North London, where friends and family gathered to pay their respects.
Among the mourners, 23-year-old Montana Brown – who was one of Mike’s closest friends from his time on the ITV2 reality show – was seen crying as she headed to the service, where she gave a touching eulogy in which she urged people to be “kinder” to one another.
According to the Daily Mirror, she said: “The whole nation was shocked by this, and this isn’t something you forget. I’m looking at everyone right here and asking you to change yourself, change how you live your life, change how you love your loved ones, and also change how you treat strangers.
“I can see a lot of reality faced in the room, please do not let this pass you by. It’s so hard, the rejection, the competitiveness, the need to constantly look okay on social media.
“So let’s learn from this. We’re all in the same boat. We all go through the same stresses. Let’s just be kinder, be nicer, more genuine, let’s check in on each other, life’s too short.”
Montana – who was accompanied to the service by her boyfriend Elliot Reeder – went on to say she felt “privileged” to have been Mike’s friend.
She continued: “Mike I truly believe you exhausted every avenue to avoid this outcome as I know you knew you were loved by so many people.
“You’re kind, you’re generous, and sometimes very lairy, but that’s the Mike we all cherish and love. I know there’s people in this room who’d give anything to have you back. You were so misunderstood, and I feel privileged to have been your friend.”
Alongside Montana, the likes of, Rebekah Vardy, ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Liam Gatsby, and fellow ‘Love Island’ contestants Samira Mighty, Zara McDermott, Ellie Brown, and Georgia Harrison were also in attendance.
Other stars seen at the service included Mario Falcone, Amber Davies, Camilla Thurlow, Jamie Jewitt, Alexandra Cane, Jonny Mitchell, and ‘Love Island’ host Caroline Flack.

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is “devastated” over her father’s health battle.
The 37-year-old singer was reported this week to have checked herself into a mental health facility after becoming “distraught” over her father Jamie Spears’ health issues, which have led him to undergo two major surgeries after his colon ruptured in November.
And now, sources say seeing her father “seriously ill” has “shattered” the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker, causing her mental health to suffer, which is why she decided to head to a treatment centre.
One insider said: “She’s been devastated over the prospect of losing her dad. He’s always been her rock, and seeing him seriously ill has shattered her.
“She’s been depressed and hasn’t been able to find a way out of it. After Jamie’s recent surgery, she found herself so full of anxiety and panic, she didn’t know who to turn to or what to do. She’s been spiralling and feeling lost.”
Britney’s decision to seek professional help for her mental health reportedly comes as she wants to “understand her feelings”, and get herself out of the “dark place” she has been in since her father’s emergency operation.
The source added to Us Weekly magazine: “She felt like it was time to get help and that she needed support. She wants to understand her feelings and learn how to cope with them. She wanted to find a way to take care of herself and get out of the dark place she has been in.”
Insiders claimed on Wednesday (03.04.19) that Britney – who has sons Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline – checked herself into the facility about a week ago, and is expected to stay there for 30 days.
Earlier this year, the ‘Slumber Party’ singer announced she was putting her Vegas run of ‘Britney: Domination’ at the Park MGM resort on hold until further notice due to her dad’s health, as well as delaying work on her upcoming album.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have asked for charity donations instead of gifts in the lead up to the birth of their first child.
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are currently expecting their first child together, and have said that rather than receiving gifts, they’d prefer their fans to use their money to support four charities – The Lunchbox Fund, Little Village HQ, Well Child, and Baby2Baby.
A post shared on their joint Instagram account, read: “What an incredibly special surprise the grassroots led #globalsussexbabyshower was last Sunday! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and support in anticipation of the birth of their first child.
“In lieu of sending gifts, the couple have long planned to encourage members of the public to make donations to select charities for children and parents in need. If you already made a donation, the couple send you their greatest thanks. If you are thinking about it, they ask that you kindly consider the following organisations they’ve selected, which we will highlight here over the next few days: @thelunchboxfund @littlevillagehq @wellchild @baby2baby (sic)”
The post then concluded by thanking the couple’s loyal supporters for their “warm wishes”.

“She’s keen to introduce the royal family to what she considers a more enlightened, modern, American approach. Of course, Harry had a very Tomboyish nanny himself in Tiggy who taught him and William about abseiling, fishing and other outdoor pursuits in Monmouthshire.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha was “actually really hurt” when designers refused to dress her for the Grammy Awards in February.
The 29-year-old singer took to social media in January this year to slam designers after she claimed she was told she was “too big” to be given a dress by a number of fashion houses, and has now said she shared her story online because she was genuinely “upset”.
She said: “I love my body, I’m a curvy girl, and that’s why I put it up because I was actually really hurt when I found out. I had been nominated for two Grammys, it’s like my moment. My parents were flying out and when my friend told me [about it] I was really upset.”
Bebe was eventually dressed in a red tiered Monsoori gown at the awards bash, and said she “felt like a princess” in the stunning gown.
The ‘Meant to Be’ hitmaker still struggles with her body image and the hate she receives online for her figure, and says more needs to be done to promote “women empowerment” in the music industry in order to defeat stigmas surrounding weight.
Speaking during an appearance on UK talk show ‘Lorraine’, she said: “I feel really great in my skin but I was made to feel I wasn’t a real pop star and I was too big, I was made to compete with other female pop stars.
“The amount of things I’ve heard from these women breaks my heart, there are some who keep these secrets to this day, and two of these song writers had number-one hits one week and then the next.
“We just need more women empowerment. I feel like my music is great, I love being creative, but I don’t just want to be here to buy Chanel bags and make money, its great let’s not lie about that, I also want to feel great about helping people.”
In her original social media rant, Bebe said she was turned down by several designers who refused to dress her size 8 frame.
She said in a video: “So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like the coolest thing ever.
“And a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet … So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”
The ‘I Got You’ singer is angry that they are giving out the message that anyone who is size eight and above isn’t “beautiful”.
She added: “If a size 6-8, is too big, then I don’t know what to tell you. Then I don’t want to wear your f***ing dresses. ‘Cause that’s crazy … You’re saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger is “feeling much better” following his successful heart valve replacement surgery.
The 75-year-old music legend underwent the operation in New York recently, and he’s now said he’s “on the mend”, as he sent his thanks to his fans for their support, as well as to the hospital staff who did a “superb job” in taking care of him throughout his stay.
He wrote on Twitter: “Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job.”
Mick’s representative has also confirmed he’s “expected to make a full recovery” following the surgery.
A statement read: “Mick Jagger has successfully undergone treatment. He is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery.”
Sources recently said that Mick will need to rest for four to five days to allow the artery to heal without bleeding issues, following the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure.
The operation was said to be minimally invasive, and medics repaired the heart value using a catheter to access a major artery – enabling him to avoid major surgery.
Last weekend, The Rolling Stones announced they would reschedule their North American ‘No Filter Tour’, which was originally due to begin in April, as a result of Mick’s operation.
The tour is now expected to begin in July, and Mick recently admitted he was “hugely disappointed” about the postponement.
He said: “I hate letting our fans down and I’m hugely disappointed to have to postpone the tour but am looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as I can.”
The band – also made up of Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood – added in their own statement: “Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Oh never thought she’d land a lead role before ‘Killing Eve’.
The 47-year-old actress stars as the titular Eve in the hit BBC drama, and has said she couldn’t believe it when her agent told her she’d be leading the show, because she “couldn’t see” herself taking on a lead role.
She said: “I was like, ‘What’s my part?’ When my agent said, ‘You’re f***ing Eve,’ I just couldn’t see it. I couldn’t see myself in a leading role … It’s like a f***ing shard in my heart.”
And the actress – who rose to fame in her role as Doctor Christina Yang on the medical drama ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ – found it “really difficult” to come to terms with her role, because she felt as though she couldn’t “see herself”.
She added: “We work really hard because we love what we do, but we understand how important it is to be visible and to see ourselves, right? To catch myself in a moment where I’m still not doing that was really difficult.”
But Sandra is pleased to have reached her level of fame at an older age, because she’s “done enough work” on herself to be able to “experience” success without being too hard on herself.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine, she said: “I’m grateful that it’s happened at 47, because I’ve done enough work on myself to really experience it. And then, too, it just has deeper meaning for me.”
Sandra’s late rise to fame comes after she recently said she “gives less f**ks” now she’s in her 40s.
She said: “I was more insecure when I was 20 than I am at 47. At 47 it’s like, ‘You need me to put on a crazy dress with mirrors? Yeah, sure. I’m going to work the s**t out of this!’ I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s, like, you give less f**ks. Ageing is the greatest. It really gives you more space to be that person in the mirrored dress who has always been inside.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Clarke was “deeply paranoid” that she’d never be able to act again following her life-threatening brain aneurysm in 2011.
The 32-year-old actress revealed last month she had almost died twice after she suffered life-threatening brain aneurysms after filming wrapped on the first season of ‘Game of Thrones’ – on which she plays Daenerys Targaryen – and has said that for a “long time” after her emergency surgery, she thought she’d have lost the ability to act.
Emilia explained that during her second aneurysm, a part of her brain was starved of oxygen for more than a minute, which caused that section to die, and she was left “paranoid” that it would be the part of her brain that allowed her to recall lines and act.
She said: “So, they [the doctors] literally were looking at the brain and being like, ‘Well, we think it could be – could be her concentration, it could be her peripheral vision. For a very long time, I thought it was my ability to act…that was a deep paranoia.”
But the beauty – who is now fully recovered – was able to joke with the doctors at the time, even recalling that she told them she’d lost the part of her brain which housed her “taste in men”.
And Emilia says the thing that saved her from her paranoia was getting back on the ‘Game of Thrones’ set, because she threw herself into her work to stop herself “considering her own mortality”.
Speaking in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning – which is set to air this Sunday (07.04.19) – she said: “You go on the set, and you play a badass character, and you walk through fire, and you speak to hundreds of people, and you’re being asked to be – to work as hard as you possibly can.
“And that became the thing that just saved me from considering my own mortality, yeah.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jussie Smollett “will not be intimidated” into paying $130,000 to the City of Chicago in relation to allegations that he staged a hate crime on himself.
The ‘Empire’ actor was told last month he wouldn’t be charged over allegations he orchestrated a racist and homophobic attack on himself in January, but was met with more difficulties days later when he City of Chicago demanded he hand over the whopping sum to compensate for the overtime pay for police who investigated his case.
But now, Jussie’s lawyer Marc Geragos has said he won’t be paying the city a penny, because he maintains his innocence in the alleged hate attack.
Marc wrote in a letter to the city’s department of law: “Mr. Smollett will not be intimidated into paying the demanded sum. Mr. Smollett vehemently denies making any false statements.”
In the letter, Marc adds that if the city takes civil action against Jussie for the costs, he will demand sworn depositions from Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, both of whom have publicly criticised the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for dropping the charges against Jussie.
Marc added: “In light of their vested interest in the matter, we are confident that Mayor Emanuel and Superintendent Johnson will not object to providing their testimony under oath.”
The lawyer’s letter comes just over a week after the city of Chicago demanded Jussie pay the money for allegedly making false statements to the police.
In their own letter, the counsel wrote: “Over two dozen detectives and police officers participated in the investigation, ultimately spending weeks investigating your false claims.
“The Chicago police investigation revealed that you knowingly filed a false police report and had in fact orchestrated your own attack.”
The City was demanding “immediate payment” within seven days, and said at the time that if the 36-year-old actor didn’t hand over the cash, the Corporation Counsel would “prosecute you for making a false statement under the Municipal Code of Chicago.”

The 92-year-old ‘EastEnders’ legend – who has played Dot Cotton on the BBC soap for more than 30 years – has revealed she’s beginning to lose her eyesight and is already struggling to “go out socially” because of her vision.
June has suffered from macular degeneration for 10 years, and although she had a revolutionary operation in 2017 to fit extra lenses in her eyes, she’s revealed they haven’t been as effective as she’d hoped.
Now, the iconic actress relies on her Amazon Alexa voice assistant to tell her the headlines in the newspapers, because she can no longer read them.
She said: “Alexa could help me keep up with what’s going on in the world, because I’ve given up on my papers now. I could read the headlines at one time but that’s impossible now.
“I’ve got very poor sight. I’ve got extra lenses inside my eyes to try and help me read better. They help with my ­peripheral vision, but I’ve got no central vision at all. I haven’t driven for years and I can’t really go out socially due to my eyesight.”
June no longer attends award shows because she can’t “recognise” other people, and hasn’t been able to read or reply to any of her fan letters as she can’t personalise them in the way she would like.
She added: “I never go to soap awards or suchlike now. I don’t recognise people that I know and they would think I was snubbing them. And I have got loads of fan letters that I haven’t been able to read or reply to since it all started.
“I don’t like to just send cards and sign them, I have all different sorts I like to chose from personally. So if someone mentioned Ethel, Gretchen Franklin, I’d send them one with a picture of Dot and Ethel. I used to be meticulous about that but now I’ve got nobody, really, to help me do it.”
And the actress says she wouldn’t wish her condition on anyone.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: “I can’t tell you what it’s like, but you wouldn’t want it, dear. So just pray for your health and strength, hearing and eyesight, and an active mind.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sandra Oh “burst out crying” after meeting Yoko Ono.
The 47-year-old actress bumped into the multimedia artist and peace activist – who was married to the late Beatles star John Lennon – at Los Angeles International airport whilst heading into the first class lounge, and has said she was completely starstruck by the encounter that she began crying.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’, she said: “I sit down and I look up and it’s Yoko Ono. I didn’t know I could bow so low, I could bow so low and say, ‘Hello, Yoko. It’s so nice to meet you.’
“And then I was able to ask her before actually just posing in that photograph, I’m like, ‘Would that be all right?’ And she said ‘Okay.’ And I burst out crying. Burst out crying. I mean, not that much of a surprise.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Killing Eve’ star recently said she’s learned how to give “less f**ks” now that she’s older, as she’s had time to get used to her body and isn’t as “insecure” as she was in her 20s.
She said: “I was more insecure when I was 20 than I am at 47. At 47 it’s like, ‘You need me to put on a crazy dress with mirrors? Yeah, sure. I’m going to work the s**t out of this!’ I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s, like, you give less f**ks. Ageing is the greatest. It really gives you more space to be that person in the mirrored dress who has always been inside.”
And although she wasn’t as confident in her 20s, Sandra insists that time in her life was “powerful”, as she had the “energy and boldness” to pursue an acting career.
She added: “It’s really such a powerful time when you’re 23, 24. There is a certain energy and boldness, but I’ve always been driven. This industry can be crushing, but I f***ing love it. I love it, and I think I would be acting and doing something creative no matter what.”
