OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber has been “struggling a lot”.
The ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer insists he isn’t too “worried” about his mental health as he always “bounces back” but has asked fans to pray for him.
He wrote on Instagram: “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys.
“Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird..
“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me.
“God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.(sic)”
It was recently claimed the 25-year-old singer – who is married to model Hailey Bieber – is undergoing counselling to help him “figure out his next chapter”.
An insider shared: “His emotions are raw, but he knows that his counselling – however painful – is what he needs as he moves forward with his life. He’s feeling very positive that he’s uncovering some root issues, and everyone is optimistic that this will help him figure out his next chapter. He’s going to be a dad someday, and he knows that could happen sooner rather than later. [He wants to be sure] that he’s got his act together.”
Justin had previously opened up about how becoming so famous at such a young age had a negative effect on his mental health.
He shared: “I started really feeling myself too much. ‘People love me, I’m the s**t,’ that’s honestly what I thought. I got very arrogant and cocky. I was wearing sunglasses inside … I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Bunton was “angry” when Geri Horner left the Spice Girls.
The 46-year-old singer stunned her bandmates when she quit the chart-topping band in May 1998 and Emma, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria Beckham were baffled by the decision because she never explained how much she was finding life difficult.
Asked how she felt when Geri quit, Emma said: “Angry. Geri just left. No words. No explanation. Nothing.”
The 43-year-old singer didn’t speak to her bandmate – who later explained she had struggled with fame and was battling depression and an eating disorder – for some time but they eventually reconnected over the phone and Emma understood a lot more.
She told Stella magazine: “You realise what it was like for the other person, how they saw it. It puts your friendship on a different deeper level.”
After Geri’s departure, the group refused to speak about her exit to anyone – not even Emma’s idol.
She recalled: ” was the biggest Madonna fan. I knew every word to every song and then she came to meet us backstage with her little girl Lourdes. It was just after Geri left the band in 1998 and all she was asking was why Geri had quit. She just wanted the gossip. There was no way we were going to say anything about Geri. None of us would ever break ranks on that – even for Madonna.”
As the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers – without Victoria – prepare for an upcoming reunion tour, they feel closer than ever.
Emma said: “We have our own WhatsApp group. It’s a cliché, but we are sisters. There are times when we are together and we might be with our partners and one of us – usually Mel B – will shout to everyone else to get out of the room and we will have a group hug. It’s a bizarre energy that feels incredibly private but unbelievably powerful – and it’s still there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roseanne Barr had a “complete nervous breakdown” following her Twitter scandal.
The 66-year-old actress received a huge backlash which resulted in her sitcom ‘Roseanne’ being cancelled by ABC after she was accused of racism over a tweet comparing Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to former US President Barack Obama, to an ape, and she’s admitted it was a difficult time for her.
She said: “I had a complete nervous breakdown.
“[I couldn’t get out of bed or speak]. I couldn’t think either.
“They gave me 48 hours to sign away the rights to my show or I’d be sued, because I ruined the season. They cancelled the show before one sponsor pulled out, which is unheard of. They wanted to get rid of me.”
The star has previously blamed having taken sleeping medication Ambien for her controversial tweet and she’s no longer used the medication since the scandal.
She said: “I was in an inebriated condition.
“I’d gone to bed at 11pm, sent the tweet at 2am. I was on Ambien [a sleeping pill]. It was a very stupid thing. I was dreaming and I woke up and thought this is a really great thing that I’ll tweet. I was appalled I was not allowed to explain it…
“I wished I hadn’t done it and I don’t take Ambien no more. It made me think in an impaired way and I’d also had a couple of beers.”
Roseanne went to claim former First Lady Michelle Obama was responsible for her firing after she called ABC chiefs.
She told the Sunday Times magazine: “She said, ‘This tweet is unforgivable.’ That’s what I was told and I tend to believe it because the woman who fired me is now working with the Obamas at Netflix.”
Following the cancellation of ‘Roseanne’, ABC have established spin-off show ‘The Conners’, which features all her former castmates in their previous roles following the death of her character, and the actress isn’t happy with the programme or the network.
She said: “They think because they killed me it’s OK to use me, use the memory of me. Still mention me. It’s still my show, but they stole it. They are going to do it to other comics. I’m just the first.
“[ABC told me] if I do one more thing they don’t like, they’ll remove my reruns for ever. And I said, ‘Could you define what the one more thing is?’ and they won’t.
“It’s a total Stalinist censorship. I’m known for free speech and also bringing free speech into a family context with the conversations I had on my show. They don’t want none of that no more. They only want pliable servants. I’m not that. I’m not a slave.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance the Rapper got married on Saturday (09.03.19).
The 25-year-old rapper and his long-term partner Kristen Corley exchanged vows in front of 150 guests including the likes of Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West and comedian Dave Chappelle at the Pelican Hill resort in Newport Beach, California, but the couple’s three-year-old daughter Kensli made sure all eyes were on her during the ceremony.
A source told E! News: “The decor was all white, with big arrangements of white roses lining the aisle and scattered white petals where the bride walked down to meet her groom.
“The bride, Kirsten, wore a strapless white dress and Chance wore a white tux with a black bow tie. It was a romantic ceremony and a string quartet played as they entered.
“In the middle of the ceremony, their little daughter Kensli ran up and Chance picked her up and held her. It was very sweet and loving to watch.”
While the couple’s wedding took place this weekend, the Chicago Tribune revealed they actually legally tied the knot in a civil ceremony at the Cook County clerk’s office in Chicago on December 27 last year.
A few days ago, the ‘No Problem’ hitmaker shared the touching story of how he met Kristen for the first time when he was just nine years old at his mom’s office party.
Alongside a photo of Kirsten as a child, he wrote: “Storytime. A thread on how I met my wife. This photo was taken on the day that I first met my wife!”
Explaining how his mother had taken him, his dad, and brother Taylor to her office party in 2003, he explained: “We were instructed to make away for an exclusive performance by DESTINY’s CHILD. From the back stepped out 3 young girls… Who were not Destiny’s Child.
“QUESTION. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ME Now I’m locking eyes with the prettiest girl I ever seen in my almost-a-decade of life on earth.
“I was just staring at her; as she and her girls were conquering this choreography and mastering the art of lip-syncing in a way even the most professional performers have yet to accomplish.(sic)”
He later later clarified that, after their first meeting, he didn’t come face-to-face with Kirsten again until almost a decade later and it took some time to realise she was his childhood crush.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Schwarzenegger feels “at home” on Chris Pratt’s farm.
The 29-year-old author loves spending time with her fiance at his estate on one of Washington State’s San Juan islands, where he raises sheep, pigs and a cow because she’s so “comfortable” around animals.
She told E! News: “We don’t live there full time.
“I’ve kind of grown up with a bunch of different animals, so it feels very comfortable and at home, and just a beautiful part of life.”
Katherine wrote a children’s book in 2017 called ‘Maverick and Me’, which is named after her own rescue dog and she revealed she has learned a lot from her beloved pet.
She said: “He’s made such a huge difference in my life.
“He’s taught me so much about unconditional love and patience and of course, the important of animal rescue and dog adoption, which I didn’t really know much about before him.
“He’s just taught me so much about life in general, and he been such a great joy in my life.”
Last month, Chris – who has six-year-old son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris – revealed a new lamb had been born on his farm on Valentine’s Day (14.02.19), so he named the creature Cupid in honour of the Roman god of love and desire.
Chris posted a photo of the mother sheep with her new baby in the pen, and wrote: “The first lamb of the season arrived on Valentine’s Day. I think we’ll call him Cupid. Good job Mamma! #farmlife #WeBeLambin’ #lambingseason2019”
Chris – who started farming lambs in 2017 – loves nature and regularly updates his social media page with photos and videos of his many farm animals.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennie Garth has hit back after she was blasted for not using her social media accounts to pay tribute to the late Luke Perry.
The 46-year-old actress posted on Instagram on Friday (08.03.19) for the first time since her ‘Beverly, Hills 90210’ co-star passed away last Monday (04.03.19) but was criticised in the comments for sharing a photo of her three daughters, Luca, 21, Lola, 16, and 12-year-old Fiona.
One user commented on her International Women’s Day post: “I love u @jenniegarth but y haven’t u put anything about Luke Perry? My heart is torn & I didn’t even know him.”
Referring to her ‘90210’ alter ego Kelly Taylor, another wrote: “Guess u are Kelly in real life. Couldn’t even take a minute to write a tribute about Luke. Wow. Self centered much ? No wonder u can’t keep a husband or a man.(sic)”
In response, Jennie – who has her daughters with ex-husband Peter Facinelli – branded the remarks “not cool”.
She later insisted the ‘Riverdale’ actor – who was father to Jack, 21, and 18-year-old Sophie from his marriage to Minnie Sharp – wouldn’t have cared about a social media post.
She wrote: “Hey everyone … I chose to post a pic of my girls today. Because they are my life. Because today is a day to celebrate all women.
“It took a lot for me to want to celebrate anything. I thought about it and I know that’s the way my dear friend would have wanted it.
“His kids were his life. And anyone who knew him knows that and knows he didn’t give a f**k about social media. So please don’t assume or judge or make rude comments. That’s really uncool. Sincerely, Jennie.”
And despite her social media silence, Jennie had given a statement about her friend’s death earlier in the week.
She said: “My heart is broken. He meant so much to so many. Such a very special person. I share my deep sadness with his family and all who loved him. Such a terrible loss.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Jordan has won ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star and his professional partner Alexandra Schauman lifted the trophy following a hard-fought competition against Wes Nelson and Vanessa Bauer that saw each couple perform three routines, including their own take on Torvill and Dean’s iconic ‘Bolero’.
Lifting the trophy, James – who was nursing a shoulder injury said: “I can’t believe it. Oh my Gosh. I couldn’t have given it any more.”
After he and Vanessa performed their ‘Bolero’, Christopher Dean told them it was one of “the best” he had ever seen performed in the history of the show.
And when Wes and Vanessa left the ice after their own final skate, the ‘Love Island’ star admitted their routine had been one of the highlights of his life.
He said: “I can’t describe the feeling, that was the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Earlier in the evening, Saara Alto and her partner Hamish Gaman finished third following a fun-filled routine to Britney Spears’ ‘Circus’ and their favourite routine of the series, ‘Puppet on a String’ from week five.
Although they missed out on a chance to perform their ‘Bolero’ routine, they weren’t too upset.
After the result was announced, Saara said: “I feel so good, this was the best night for us. thank you Hamish.”
The final also saw the return of all this year’s contestants and their professional partners as they took to the ice for one last skate.
Following a week of uncertainty following her row with Jason Gardiner, Gemma Collins did make it back to take a spin with Matt Evers.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carice van Houten doesn’t know how ‘Game of Thrones’ ends.
The 42-year-old actress will reprise her role as Melisandre in the eighth and final season of the show but she doesn’t read much of the scripts beyond her scenes because she likes to be “surprised”.
Asked about speculation more than one ending has been shot, she said: “I have no idea about that. I’ve heard about it.
“But also, in order not to spoil anything, I like to know as little as possible. So I am gonna be pretty surprised myself, because I didn’t really read it all.”
And the Dutch actress – who has two-year-old son Monte with partner Guy Pearce – refused to say whether she appears more frequently in the new series than she did in season seven.
Asked if her appearances are consistent, she told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: “Nice try! I’m so good at deflecting that now. I can’t say anything about that.”
Carice was originally asked to audition to play Cersei Lannister but refused and thinks Lena Headey has done a great job as the queen.
She said: “It makes sense, because they’re sort of the same wood, as we say.
“But it all turned out for the best, because Lena couldn’t be a better Cersei.”
While she’s enjoyed the challenge of playing Melisandre, Carice admits it hasn’t been easy, especially in the early days.
She said: “I don’t mind playing unsympathetic characters, because they’re often very interesting. But I didn’t get a lot for free. She’s not someone you per se immediately embrace to your heart.
“So I had to fight for her. But it was fun. I sort of enjoyed people hating me a little bit. I thought it was funny.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dev Patel thinks movies need to “embrace” non-white actors.
The 28-year-old actor can next be seen in ‘Hotel Mumbai’ – which explores the terrorist attacks at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in India in 2008 – and he thinks the thriller should be applauded because he doesn’t believe it would have been made a decade ago.
He said: “A film like this, with a bunch of brown faces, would not have been made 10 years ago.
“But people are embracing new faces. Why not embrace brown ones?”
The former ‘Skins’ star has Gujarti-speaking Indian parents but was born and raised in London, and embraced the city he grew up in, so was overwhelmed when he first went to India to work on ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ with director Danny Boyle.
He told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: “Growing up, the idea is to do as much as possible to fit into that place and rid yourself of all cultural and ancestral ties.
“Being introduced to India by Danny Boyle blew my mind. It was so much more than I imagined.”
‘Hotel Mumbai’ was directed by Australian filmmaker Anthony Maras, and after also winning a string of award nominations for his performance in Garth Davis’ movie ‘Lion’ – which follows an Indian street boy adopted by Australian parents who later returns to his home country to find his biological mother – Dev admitted he also feels a special connection to life Down Under.
He said: “It’s bizarre and fantastic! But I feel the same connection to Australia as I do to India.
“Both have shaped me as an actor and a human being. All credit to Garth: he saw something in me and gave me the opportunity to be still and soulful and because of that, these other things have come about.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Bunton nearly “broke” when she was told she may not be able to have children.
The 43-year-old singer – who has sons Beau, 11, and seven-year-old Tate with long-term partner Jade Jones – was devastated when doctors broke the news when she was 25 that endometriosis could make it hard to conceive.
She recalled: “That nearly broke me. I knew I had the right partner; I knew I wanted to be a mum. I didn’t give up hope, but it wasn’t happening.”
Five years later, Emma’s doctor watched her competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and called to ask the ‘Stop’ singer if she was pregnant, and the blonde beauty credits the training for the show with helping her overcome her fertility issues.
She told Stella magazine: “She’d seen me on the television holding my hands over my stomach and she just had a feeling I was pregnant.
“I did a test straight away and I was. I have no idea whether it was doing all that exercise but I was so happy. ‘Strictly’ got me pregnant.”
Emma was just 22 when she first met former Damage singer Jade and she “liked” him immediately.
She said: “He came backstage to see one of our shows. He didn’t say much, but I just saw something in his sweet face that I knew I liked.
“I said, ‘We’re going to a party now and you’re coming in my car.’ He just smiled at me. That was it.
“We had one break-up a few years later when we were both travelling non-stop. It was awful, but he was the one who called me to ask me to get back together. I always knew the answer would be yes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt is “very involved” with the planning of his wedding to Katherine Schwarzenegger.
The couple got engaged in January and are having an “exciting and fun” time preparing for their big day, with the 29-year-old author’s famous parents, Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger and mum Maria Shriver, also playing a huge role in the planning.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Katherine said: “I think that you know, for me, my family is very involved. I’m very involved, [Chris is] very involved, so it’s a great combination of everything and just a really exciting and fun [time].”
Just days ago, the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor admitted that he was struggling to find the time to sit down with his fiancee and go over ideas for their upcoming wedding, as he’s so busy with his Hollywood career.
Asked if he’s had any time to get down to business when it comes to planning his nuptials, he said: “Oh, barely!”
The 39-year-old star only has a few months left to prepare, as he previously claimed he and Katherine were aiming to walk down the aisle later this year.
He said: “We’re maybe [thinking of a] fall, winter kind of thing. We have a lot to get done.”
The ‘Jurassic World’ star announced his engagement with a post on Instagram in mid January, where he shared a snap of the pair with Katherine’s engagement ring on show.
He captioned it: “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
And Chris’ ex-wife Anna Faris – with whom he has six-year-old son Jack – is thrilled for the couple and has even offered to officiate their wedding.
Speaking at the time, she said: “Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night,’ I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.’ And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister.’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellen DeGeneres has offered to be Jennifer Lopez’s Maid of Honour.
The 61-year-old talk show host – who is married to Portia de Rossi – was among the droves of showbiz stars to wish the ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker and her retired sports star fiancé Alex Rodriguez congratulations after he got down on one knee on Saturday (09.03.19).
And Ellen joked that she would be more than willing to play a major role on their big day.
Commenting on Jennifer’s engagement announcement on Instagram, she wrote: “Yes. I’ll be your Maid of Honor. (sic)”
The TV star had previously urged the pair to tie the knot because they “seem very happy” together and even hinted that Alex, 43, was preparing to pop the question last November.
She said on her titular show: “You should [get married], because y’all seem very happy.
“I mean, it would be good to do for Christmas.”
Ellen gifted the couple a clock with their faces on it in a bid to instigate a proposal.

But last month, the ‘Jenny from the Block’ hitmaker insisted she didn’t need to marry Alex just yet.
Jennifer – who has 11-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc – explained: “Among our children and work and all the wonderful things that happen, we are really living our best years.
“We are grateful for this and we do not need anything else at the moment. We have to do things at our own pace.”
Jennifer also confessed that having kids had changed the way she views marriage.
She shared: “I think I’ve understood that marriage takes a lot more than just falling in love and sharing a home together.
“In my case, my first responsibility is my children and making sure as a mother that I’m creating the best possible home for them.
“That means you need someone who not only understands you, but understands children and is willing to love them as much as you do.
“But I’m hopeful of being able to spend the rest of my life with someone and being committed in that way to each other.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran’s neighbours fear he will turn a natural pond into a swimming pool.
The ‘Shape Of You’ hitmaker had the kidney-shaped pool of water on his Suffolk estate accepted by planning permission officials a few years ago by insisting it was installed as a haven for wildlife but now his neighbours are worried it will be turned into a pool.
One neighbour, Tony Robinson, said: “I believe that the development of the site is more about creating an environment for a ‘wild lifestyle’ rather than the actual wild life.”
Whilst Kenny and Carol Cattee, who also live nearby, added to The Sun newspaper: “The so-called wildlife pond would now appear to be more like a swimming pool, which is somewhat different from the application.”
A set of steps and a jetty have been installed on the pond, sparking concern but East Suffolk council approved the installation as it is to be used “to enable access to the pond in the event of maintenance and emergency”.
In 2016, when the initial planning permission application was made, Ed and his now-wife Cherry Seaborn said the new pond would help to “support nature conservation … and provide a natural habitat for breeding and wetland invertebrates such as dragonflies and water beetles, as well as providing a source of drinking water to birds and mammals.”
The application was approved a few months later but it was made clear by East Suffolk council that the pond wouldn’t be used for anything else including “recreational leisure such as swimming”.
It comes after Ed applied for permission to build a chapel in the grounds of his Suffolk mansion to give him a place to “retreat for contemplation and prayer”, and for his famous house guests to “regenerate their spiritual strength”. However, the plans may be thwarted by the great crested newts living in his pond. Objections have been lodged against the chapel plans, amid claims the pond is home to one of the largest populations of the protected species in the area. Critics are demanding a “full ecological survey” before the application progresses any further.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mollie King has penned a children’s book about her pet dog.
The Saturdays singer has turned her hand to writing and the book’s lead character is based on her ginger poodle Alfie.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Mollie’s been juggling her Radio 1 presenting job with writing her first book and it’s already looking like it will be a hit. She adores her pooch Alfie and wanted to use him to help children understand insecurities and how to overcome them. After appearing on Strictly and bagging her job on Radio 1, Mollie has become a really respected name so her book caused a frenzy when it was sent out to publishers. She’s now in the middle of a bidding war.”
And when she’s not busy with her budding radio career and writing her book, Mollie would love to make a return to music and previously confessed she wants a Saturdays reunion with her bandmates Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Rochelle Humes.
She said: “Being in The Saturdays was a dream come true and I’d love for there to be a reunion in the future. When you’re in this industry, you’ve got to trust yourself and go with your gut and that’s what we did. You have to try not to get wrapped up in anything.”
Asked if things are competitive between them, she said: “Oh God no, not at all. We’re all so supportive of each other. We’ve been through so much with one another. Me and the girls are still very much a band, so we haven’t split up or anything. It’s just about supporting each other on our different journeys and it’s so nice to be close to them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny DeVito says his long-standing working relationship with Tim Burton made ‘Dumbo’ “even better”.
The 74-year-old Hollywood legend portrays circus ringmaster Max Medici in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of the classic tale about a flying elephant, and he says his history with the iconic filmmaker, having been under his helm in movies such as ‘Mars Attacks’ and Batman Returns’, made their time on set a breeze because they have so much “trust” for one another.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, DeVito said: “Because of the fact that you can come onto the set and talk about things like remember ‘Batman Returns’ and things that we did together, ‘Big Fish’ and ‘Mars Attacks’, him visiting my set, me visiting his set.
“All this kind of stuff that you do in the movie business, those things are adding to the fact that you trust each other and you are able to move forward, and maybe contribute and make it even better.”
The ‘Matilda’ actor’s co-star Michael Keaton – who plays entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere in the movie – added that whenever he gets a call from Burton to star in one of his films, he never turns him down.
Keaton added: “When I personally get a call, and I bet Danny would say the same, you pretty much say, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna be there.’
“So you just kind of show up and it’s never disappointing.”
The ‘Jack Frost’ star – who also starred in Burton’s 1992 sequel ‘Batman Returns’ and the original, plus his fantasy horror franchise ‘Beetlejuice’ – quipped that even if they make a bad film one day, it will still be a blast to work together.
He laughed: “Some day we are going to make a really horrifically bad movie – and it’s still going to be fun to make.”
Burton also agreed with his colleagues that their strong bond of more than two decades has been crucial to making great movies together, and admitted that it was “very strange” how he got on with Keaton immediately the first time they met.
He explained: “But, also, I’ve seen the guy for 20 years, right.
“And all of a sudden, the next day I worked with him, it was like I’d just seen him the other day and that is a very strange feeling to have in your life when you haven’t seen someone in so long and it’s boom, like I saw him yesterday.
“It’s a very strange feeling.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa just wants to have “fun” on her second album.
The ‘Electricity’ hitmaker has admitted that she doesn’t take herself “too seriously” on her hotly-anticipated follow-up to her hugely successful 2017 self-titled debut – which featured the hit singles ‘Hotter Than Hell’, ‘New Rules’ and ‘IDGAF’ – but she thinks it’s important to put across the right “message” to her fans at the same time.
Speaking at the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) in London recently, she said: “It’s going well, I’m really excited.
“Obviously it’s scary because it’s the second album, but I don’t want to take myself too seriously, I want to have fun.
“That’s what music, to me, is about.
“As well as getting a message across that is important, it’s also a lot about enjoying yourself and that’s what I’ve done.”
The 23-year-old pop star also revealed that she has “26 songs” ready for the record after spending many hours in the studio, and is “quite close” to completing it.
She said: “I’ve worked with the people I worked with on my first album and it’s just been quite an organic process, I feel like I’m finding myself every day a little bit more, but I think I’m coming quite close to finishing it.
“I’m about to finish the writing stage and then I’m going to go into production and finishing that off.”
Dua admitted that it’s going to be a “tricky” process picking the songs for the final tracklist.
She added: “So far on my list I have about 26 [tracks] I really like, but I only want to have maybe 13/14 songs [on the album] so it’s tricky. I just want the best out of the bunch that I think is good enough and feels like a body of work.”
The ‘Swan Song’ hitmaker says the album is “conceptual” and that it will influence her next tour.
She said: “Now that I’ve toured and felt that live environment, I make everything with that in mind.
“This album, I guess, is a bit more conceptual, but if I told you the concept then I’d have to tell you the album title.
“But in that world I’m really thinking about the live show and something new and something different.
“Hopefully now I’ll get to do shows that are a bit bigger and stages that are a bit bigger and we’ll get to play around a bit more with that.”
