OHMYGOSSIP — Moya Brady says ‘Hollyoaks’ serial killer Breda McQueen is “adorable” and “unique”.
The soap star – who joined the cast of the Channel 4 show last year – has continue the programme’s history of captivating killers, and she suggested her alter ego manages to stand out from the rest and something truly different.
She said: “Well, there’s no one like Breda is there? She’s a completely unique character… An elderly woman of advancing years who’s on a moral crusade, and she’s adorable!”
In scenes set to air next week, Mac Nightingale (David Easter) convinces Breda to kill his son James (Gregory Finnegan), in exchange for him keeping quiet about her murderous ways.
She sneaks a dose of poison into a coffee cup, and it appears James could become her sixth victim – but Mac’s blackmailing won’t be enough to put her on the straight and narrow.
Moya admitted: “No, but it’s a cautionary tale to keep sharp… But no, it won’t.”
Moya also opened up on her character’s motivations and goals of taking out the “bad dads” in the village, and it appears she certainly isn’t done yet.
She added: “The village is full of them! Even the good dads can be bad dads in Hollyoaks!”
And Gregory revealed that if James does get killed off, he’ll be sad to be away from his alter ego’s on-screen family.
Asked what he’d miss the most, he said: “My much depleted Nightingale family. We’ve had such a lot of fun over the past few years, and I miss working with Richard, Sophie, Jen Amrit and Jared, who have all long since left the village.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Marshmello’s Las Vegas residency will be a “one-of-a-kind show”.
The producer and DJ recently penned a money-spinning deal to appear at the new Kaos Dayclub & Nightclub in Sin City, and Palms Casino Resort General Manager Jon Gray has promised it will be an exhilarating show.
He explained: “Marshmello’s track record has been phenomenal. He’s on an amazing run. He’s the No. 4 most streamed artist right now.
“We feel that what he’s doing, his whole team, is very creative. They’ve done some phenomenal initiatives like the Fortnite takeover, and I know he’s got some incredible things in the pipeline.
“He’s done some amazing collaborations that give him a lot of range that will excite guests. In addition to that, we really are creating a one-of-a-kind show experience together, leveraging all the great technology in the new room.”
Gray explained that Marshmello is planning to create something totally unique when his residency launches later this year.
He told Billboard: “This isn’t just a guy who comes in with the same set list and presses play – he’s creating a show with great visuals, pyrotechnics and all the technology in the space. This is not a DJ set. This is a real concert.”
After news of his Las Vegas residency was announced, Marshmello took to Twitter to speak of his excitement.
The DJ wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “I’m excited to announce my new home in Las Vegas will be @KaosVegas inside @Palms. By far one of the best things the city has seen in a long time. See you this spring! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Perry’s fiancee says the “outpouring of love and support” since the actor’s death has been “a great source of solace”.
Wendy Madison Bauer, who had been with Perry for more than a decade, has spoken out for the first time since the death of the actor, who passed away after suffering a stroke age 52.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support.
“The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.”
Wendy hailed Perry as “an extraordinary man”, and also thanked his children – Sophie, 18, and Jack, 21, who he had with ex-wife Rachel Sharp – for their support.
She said: “The past 11 years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him.
“I also want to thank his children, family, and friends for their love and support. We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man. He will be dearly missed.”
Meanwhile, Sophie recently discussed her father’s passing in an Instagram post.
She wrote: “A lot has happened in this past week for me. Everything is happening so fast. I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, and in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support.
“I cannot individually respond to the hundreds of beautiful and heartfelt messages, but I see them, and appreciate you all for sending positivity to my family and I. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger doesn’t eat in the evenings.
The 40-year-old singer believes the key to her slender frame is to finish all her meals at 7pm and not give into any night time cravings.
She told Closer magazine: “I try not to eat after 7pm. Eating at night is when most people fall off the wagon, so I have a cut-off point and that way I avoid all those extra calories.”
But the ‘Poison’ hitmaker won’t “deprive” herself of any foods she wants to eat the rest of the time, and also believes in the importance of regular exercise.
She said: “I also work out four to five times a week but I never deprive myself.
“If I want a big bowl of cheesy pasta, I’ll have one, but I will also make sure I get my workout in too.
“I love my HIIT, spin, and yoga.”
Nicole previously admitted she trains “like a demon” when she has a particular project coming up.
She said: “To get in shape before a video shoot or during ‘The X Factor’, I hit the gym like a demon.
“It’s like training for a world title fight! To stop exercise being boring, I mix it up with yoga and spin. A deep tissue massage with essential oils afterwards is an ultimate treat.
“I also love to run and when I’m in London, I pound the sidewalk.
“No one bothers me if I stick a cap on, although they probably can’t catch me!”
And the brunette beauty recently revealed she works out with David Beckham when she is in Los Angeles, California, because they both have the “same favourite teacher” at the fitness centre.
Speaking about her exercise plan and partner, she said recently: “I’ve taken SoulCycle spinning classes with David in LA because we have the same favourite teacher that we love there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Foals’ Yannis Philippakis thinks the departure of Walter Gervers led the band to “form a good perspective”.
The 32-year-old singer has revealed the group have developed an exciting “new dynamic” since Walter left the band whilst they were recording their fifth studio album, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1’.
Reflecting on the change, Yannis explained: “The combination of Walter’s departure and the self-imposed time off meant that we had the chance to form a good perspective of how to proceed. Having the time off allowed that desire to do it again.
“Like putting a percolator on the hob, you got to give it time until it’s ready. This new dynamic felt fresh and took us out of our past methods.
“We were writing and approaching the studio in a different fashion. There was a hunger to write something new and a desire to feel like we were shedding skin.”
The band consciously decided to adopt a more “open-ended” approach to their new album, according to Yannis.
He told Fader magazine: “We wanted to be more explorative and allow the process of being in the studio to be more open-ended. For ‘What Went Down’, we went in with finished songs and worked with a highly skilled and experienced producer.
“With this one, we went in with a much more open mindset. We had no idea how many songs we were going to write, where it was going to end up, how long it was going to take, and what form the songs would be in.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Antebellum showed their appreciation for Niall Horan by performing ‘Slow Hands’ at their London concert on Saturday (09.03.19).
The group were headlining the annual Country To Country music festival at The O2 when they called support acts Hunter Hayes and Carly Pearce on stage to join them for a new rendition of the Irish One Direction star’s solo hit.
The performance came just one night after Keith Urban and his guitarist sang the chorus of ‘Slow Hands’ at Keith’s headlining C2C show at The O2.
Lady Antebellum opened their concert with a number of fan favourites, including ‘I Run To You’, ‘Hey Bartender’, ‘Heart Break’ and ‘American Honey’.
Charles Kelley then ran into the crowd to sing Elvis Presley’s ‘Suspicious Minds’ before talking about his Irish roots.
After taking a swig from a fan’s cider, he said: “I’m not going to lie, every time I come over here I rediscover my affinity for Guinness. I know this isn’t Ireland, though. My last name is Kelley and I’ve never done one of those DNA tests but I’m pretty sure I’ve got some Irish in me.”
Things then got emotional as Charles opened up about the “interesting journey” he has been on over the past year and thanked his bandmates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood for never giving up on him.
He said: “This past year I got back in touch with my spirituality and I sing some songs completely differently now.
“I’ve gone thorough an interesting journey this year, finding out who I am.”
Speaking directly to Hillary and Dave, he said: “I’m so glad you never gave up on me. There were times where I might have been hard to be in a band with. I’m pretty Type A.”
After his emotional speech, Charles introduced new song ‘Be Patient With My Love’, which he dedicated to his wife of 10 years Cassie, along with his “work wife and work brother”.
‘Country To Country’ continues on Sunday (10.03.19) with a headline performance from Chris Stapleton.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen has accused the police of trying to cover up her stalker case.
The 33-year-old singer – who has kids Marnie, six, and Ethel, seven, with her ex-husband Sam Cooper – has alleged that the police used their knowledge of her new romantic relationship to cover up the behaviour of her stalker, Alex Gray.
Gray broke into the singer’s home in 2015 while she was sleeping, which ultimately led to his conviction and detention under the Mental Health Act.
At the time, Lily was in bed with her then-new boyfriend MC Meridian Dan.
And Lily has now alleged that Metropolitan Police officers used knowledge of her new relationship to “get rid” of the stalker case.
Lily suggested the police may have wanted to keep the case quiet because she’s well-known.
The ‘Smile’ hitmaker explained: “That was not public knowledge, and I still think that the police used that against me: ‘She won’t want the public to know that she has got a new boyfriend. We can kind of get rid of this story. She won’t want people to think of her like that.’
“I don’t know if it’s because I’m a well-known person and they don’t want it to be talked about in this way, because it’s such a f****ng issue clearly.”
Lily subsequently claimed that Gray threatened to stab her – and yet officers still insisted he was not a serious threat.
She shared: “He said he wanted to put a knife through my face. She (a police officer) stopped the interview. She said that ‘I don’t think he poses a threat to you. We should go for burglary.'”
Speaking about how the police dealt with her case, Lily added: “They will take the credit, but they don’t do the work, they just don’t.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has paid tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. on Instagram to mark the 22nd anniversary of his death.
The 49-year-old music mogul has posted a series of images of the late rapper – who was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1997 – on the photo-sharing website in tribute to his good friend.
Alongside one of the photographs, Diddy wrote: “There will NEVER be another. The GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME. Today we celebrate and honor you king. Love and miss you!!!!!!!!! Happy Biggie Day! (sic)”
Another of Diddy’s posts is a video clip of them performing on stage together.
He captioned the clip: “BIGGIE SMALLS IS THE ILLEST!!!!! HAPPY BIGGIE DAY! (sic)”
Diddy posted the emotional tribute shortly after admitting he regrets not marrying the late Kim Porter.
Diddy’s ex-girlfriend passed away last year after suffering with lobar pneumonia, and in an Instagram interaction, the mogul admitted he wishes he married her.
Posting an old picture of himself cuddling Kim – who was the mother of three of his children, Christian, 20, and 12-year-old twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James – Diddy simply wrote “SMH”, which stands for shaking my head, alongside a broken heart emoji.
And when one fan pointed out Diddy “didn’t want to marry” Kim “when she was alive”, the rapper admitted he regretted the choice.
He replied: “I know. Played myself smh (sic)”
The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker – who also raises Kim’s 27-year-old son Quincy – recently thanked his family for helping him through “a state of deep depression” following Kim’s death.
He wrote on social media: “The way my family has been strong has humbled me. They have led me. They brought me out of a state of deep depression. Their strength and love brought me back into the light. I love my family!! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian has warned her Instagram followers to “be aware of your words” in a cryptic post.
The 34-year-old reality star – who recently split from NBA player Tristan Thompson after he was caught kissing Jordyn Woods – has taken to the photo-sharing platform to encourage her followers to “choose your words wisely”.
Alongside an image of herself looking at her phone, Khloe – who has a 10-month-old daughter called True with Tristan – wrote: “‘Your perception of me is a reflection of you’ Be aware of your words. What you say does matter. Become more aware of the negative things you think and say. What does it actually accomplish by criticizing somebody else?
“Do you have any concept of how positively it can change someone’s day to receive a compliment or words of encouragement? Try to choose your words wisely. What you say to others says much more about you than it does about them. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Jordyn recently described her kiss with Tristan as a drunken mistake and a “dumb move”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins is sick of the UK and is planning to move to Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old TV personality – who originally found fame for her appearances in ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – has revealed she is keen to turn her back on Britain and wants to try her luck in the US instead.
Appearing on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, Gemma explained: “I’ve never been to LA. [I’m going to LA because] the cameras want to be on me the minute I touch down in LA, to follow me having a go at it [making a career in America].”
Earlier this month, Gemma became embroiled in a war of words with ‘Dancing on Ice’ judge Jason Gardiner, calling him a “bully” after he compared her to a “refrigerator”.
The TV star hit out at Jason after he made the jibe at her on live TV, pleading with him to stop talking about her.
Gemma – who competed on this year’s series of ‘Dancing on Ice’ – wrote on Instagram: “I’m really tired of being BULLIED by this man …. I wish you would stop ….. it’s very very upsetting and hurtful let it go Jason stop bullying me ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton-Hanson has reportedly branded Wes Nelson a “scumbag” amid claims he’s been flirting with Amber Davies.
The ‘Love Island’ star – who split from Wes earlier this year – was poised to rekindle her romance with her ex-boyfriend, but has been left devastated by rumours of Wes also trying to woo Amber.
A make-up artist who spoke to Megan about her heartache told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Megan’s not bitter about this but she said, ‘I’m sick of Wes looking like the golden boy’ when basically he’s acted like a selfish f***boy.
“She’s just heartbroken to be let down again by Wes after letting him back in after those crocodile tears on [‘Dancing on Ice’].”
Megan also told the make-up artist she was angered Wes had “used their break-up for sympathy votes” on the ITV programme.
Megan told her: “He’s so calculating. He’s been crying about me on telly on Sunday, and the next minute sexting Amber.
“You can’t act the victim and then be sly on the side.
“He’s got one public image that’s very innocent, the golden boy, when really behind closed doors he’s the total opposite. He’s a scumbag.
“He’s selfish and calculating and it’s all for votes.”
Amber previously admitted to receiving flirty messages from a ‘Love Island’ star – although she did not mention Wes by name.
She also confessed on Capital FM that the messages were “too rude for radio”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp started sobbing as he discussed his relationship with his wife Sandra on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’.
The soccer manager – who won ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2018 – gushed about his wife and admitted he “feared the worst” for Sandra while they spent time apart shortly after she was diagnosed with Sepsis.
Harry said: “I suddenly got a message to speak to people in the bush telegraph, and they said you’ve gotta leave the camp, you’ve gotta go.
“I said ‘where am I going?,” I feared the worst. I thought Sandra’s obviously not well.”
Harry, 72, became emotional when he was shown the moment when he was reunited with Sandra in the Australian jungle.
The veteran manager was then comforted by Jonathan and fellow guest John Barnes.
As he rushed over to hug Harry, the TV host said: “Oh, you’re welling up!”
During the show, John also revealed he would love to appear on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’.
The retired soccer player said he wanted to star on the programme because he fancies “a bit of a holiday”.
John shared: “From the point of view of eating anything, I eat everything and anything, so from that point of view I would do it.
“Lying around doing nothing much, I quite fancy so I’d probably look at it as a bit of a holiday. I would do it, yeah.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Larson hopes ‘Captain Marvel’ will spark a global conversation about diversity.
The 29-year-old actress – who stars as the titular character in the new Marvel movie – wants the film to trigger discussions about diversity within the film business and beyond.
She shared: “I’m just doing what I can do, based upon my experience and my one body, which is why representation on screen is so important.
“No one person can tell the entire story, we can only tell our piece of it.
“With films like this, that do end up going international, because a lot of the time, with smaller movies, you don’t know if they will or not, it means you get to have a really extensive conversation, and I’m so grateful that this film has so many pockets in it.”
Brie stressed that the new superhero movie can be enjoyed without even considering the issue of diversity.
However, the Hollywood star is hopeful that it’ll encourage the movie-watching public to become more empathetic.
She told Collider: “If you want to just enjoy it, you totally can, but there a lot of aspects to it that I think are worth talking with your friends and family about.
“When you have a multi-cultural, global conversation like that, it allows all of us, through the veil of metaphor of a film, to be able to reveal some deeper truths and maybe empathise, in a new way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Peele fears falling short of fan expectations with his new movie project.
The 40-year-old director has admitted to feeling anxious prior to the release of his directorial debut ‘Get Out’ in 2017, and Jordan feels similarly nervous about the reaction towards the new psychological horror ‘Us’.
He reflected: “You know, it doesn’t feel too different.
“With ‘Get Out’, I had the fear that if it went wrong, it would go terribly wrong. I don’t have that fear with this movie, but of course there’s the fear of betraying the expectations of somebody who wants, essentially, ‘Get Out 2’, and what happens when they realise this is a very, very different movie.”
Jordan explained that race issues are less prominent in ‘Us’ compared to his directorial debut.
And the acclaimed filmmaker is confident that it will throw up a few surprises for the audience.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “Scores of people will walk into this movie waiting for the racial commentary, and when it doesn’t come in the form they’re looking for, they’ll be forced to ask themselves: ‘Why did I think a movie with black people had to be about blackness?'”
‘Us’ stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke star as Adelaide and Gabe Wilson, who visit their beach house in California with their two children and are terrorised by some unexpected visitors.
Teasing the film, Jordan previously said: “This movie was a way to say, ‘What if the intruder is us? Maybe the monster has our face, and we’re so obsessed with some unrecognisable monster that we’ve been blinded to the real one.'”

The ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer insists he isn’t too “worried” about his mental health as he always “bounces back” but has asked fans to pray for him.
He wrote on Instagram: “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys.
“Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird..
“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me.
“God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.(sic)”
It was recently claimed the 25-year-old singer – who is married to model Hailey Bieber – is undergoing counselling to help him “figure out his next chapter”.
An insider shared: “His emotions are raw, but he knows that his counselling – however painful – is what he needs as he moves forward with his life. He’s feeling very positive that he’s uncovering some root issues, and everyone is optimistic that this will help him figure out his next chapter. He’s going to be a dad someday, and he knows that could happen sooner rather than later. [He wants to be sure] that he’s got his act together.”
Justin had previously opened up about how becoming so famous at such a young age had a negative effect on his mental health.
He shared: “I started really feeling myself too much. ‘People love me, I’m the s**t,’ that’s honestly what I thought. I got very arrogant and cocky. I was wearing sunglasses inside … I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed.”
