James Arthur's 'weird anxiety' made him feel 'sick'

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur was so “depressed” while making his album that he felt “sick” just picking up a guitar.
The 28-year-old singer recently released his number one comeback album ‘Back From The Edge’ and has admitted the recording process was “tough” as attempting to use instruments and pen lyrics would often “trigger weird anxiety”.
Talking about making the songs on his second album, he admitted: “The most emotional songs on the album to write were probably not the one’s you expect.
“There’s a song on the latter part called ‘If Only’, that was one when I was pretty depressed.
“‘Finally’ was one I wrote and I was pretty depressed.
“Even picking up a guitar would make me feel sick, trigger off all that weird anxiety. ‘The Truth’ was a tough one to write, and ‘Trainwreck.'”
Meanwhile, the ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker says he could release another new album within a year as he has another material laying around from this album.
The hunky pop star also admitted that he would like to validate his success by bagging some awards for his music.
Speaking at gig put on by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “It’s really tough to think that far ahead at the moment.
“I would just love to put out another album because I’ve got so much s**t left over from the last album, so much stuff like I could put out another two albums.
“More music. I’d love to win more awards for validation.”
doesn’t want to take medication for his anxiety as he gets Meanwhile, James previously admitted he doesn’t want to take medication for his anxiety because he is “easily addicted” to things and instead self-medicates by talking about it.
He admitted: “I don’t take medication because I easily get addicted to everything, which is a mental illness in itself. I just try talking about it as much as possible.
“The most important thing is to not let all these thoughts build up in my head because that can lead to a breakdown. I also play football. I meditate in my own way. I have time out to be by myself.”

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik drop surprise song

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik surprised fans on Thursday night (08.12.16) by releasing a duet for ‘Fifty Shades Darker’.
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker – who previously dated Zayn’s former One Direction band mate, Harry Styles – shared a clip of the song, which is called ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever, on Instagram.
In the preview, she sings: “Baby, baby, I feel crazy/Up all night, all night and every day/Give me something, oh, but you say nothing/What is happening tonight?”
And the ‘Like I Would’ singer then belts out: “I don’t wanna live forever/’Cause I know I’ll be living in pain.”
The track is already at the top of the US iTunes chart, knocking Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello’s ‘Bad Things’ off the top spot.
The single from the eagerly-anticipated sequel to ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ is the 26-year-old pop beauty’s first new music since 2014’s ‘1989’.
Taylor and Zayn teamed up with Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff to write the song, and the track came together in just a week.
Jack revealed on Twitter: “i don’t wanna live forever came together very quickly. wrote it with taylor and sam dew and produced it at home mostly on paper sounds
“recorded taylor at my house. zayn sent parts from LA – we did it in a week basically. i’ve never had something come out that quick.(sic)”
It’s Zayn’s third collaboration this year, following ‘Freedun’ with M.I.A and ‘Cruel’ with Snakehips.
It follows Taylor’s only full concert of 2016, after she performed last month at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix.
There she performed the song she wrote for ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.
And as well as playing her biggest hits for the 80,000-strong crowd, she also treated the audience at the Super Stage area in Del Valle, Texas, to a piano-led rendition of ‘This Is What You Came For’, which was a chart-topping hit for the DJ in collaboration with Rihanna earlier this year.
As for Zayn, he has been off the live circuit for some time after pulling out of performances due to feeling “haunted by anxiety”.
However, he attended the 2016 American Music Awards on November 20, where he was crowned Best New Artist.

DNCE and Fifth Harmony team up for charity single

OHMYGOSSIP — DNCE and Fifth Harmony have teamed up with several other artists to record a charity single to help the homeless.
The ‘Cake By The Ocean’ hitmakers and the girl group – comprised of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui – sing on a version of ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ with Rita Ora, Hailee Steinfeld, Charlie Puth, Tinashe and Daya, which they put together after meeting at the Z100 Jingle Ball.
All money raised from the sales of the single, will go to New York poverty fighting organisation, The Robin Hood Foundation.
John Sykes, the President of Entertainment Enterprises at iHeartMedia, said: “The homeless in New York City and across the country are hardest hit during the holiday season and its incredible to see that once again musicians and artists have stepped up to help those less fortunate.
“iHeartMedia is committed to using all of our powerful assets — radio, digital, video, live events and social — in the spirit of giving back to the needy during the holidays.”
The all-star group are to perform a version of the song at New York’s Jingle Bell Ball on Friday (09.12.16) at Madison Square Garden.
And it seems DNCE’s Joe Jonas, 27, didn’t recruit his brother and former band mates Nick Jonas, 24, for the festive tune despite Nick saying he is open to collaborating with him.
Asked if he would rule out working with his younger sibling, Nick recently said: “Never count anything out.
“We obviously like each other quite a bit.”

McFly feel 'completely refreshed' and ready to make 'best' album

OHMYGOSSIP — McFly feel “completely refreshed” for the first time.
The boy band, which is comprised of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, joined forces with Busted last year to form McBusted but have since made a return without the three additional members, and have revealed they feel more open minded than ever before following their collaboration.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the band’s guitarist Fletcher said: “I genuinely feel that, because there’s been such a gap and because of McBusted, this is the first time that I feel completely refreshed with McFly.
“When we go into the studio, I want it to be with a completely fresh, open mind.”
And the group believe they have come to a point in their career where they don’t feel any “pressure” to produce a certain genre of music or “a particular sound”.
The 31-year-old singer continued: “There’s been such a big gap between McFly’s albums, that now we’re at the stage where we’re not tied down to a particular sound.
“There’s enough of a line drawn that we could come back with whatever sound we want. For the first time, there’s no pressure or musical expectations on us that could limit us or dictate where we need to go.
“I hate the idea of having to conform with what’s current and what sounds good on radio at the moment.”
And the ‘5 Colours in Her Hair’ hitmakers – who first formed in 2003 – are excited for their future and believed their next LP will be “the best album” of their career.
Fletcher – who married his wife Giovanni in 2012 and has sons Buzz and Buddy together – explained: “There’s something really exciting about that and if we can get our heads in the right place and pull together, it’s totally possible for us to make the best album of our career.”

The ‘Do You Mind’ hitmaker supported the 35-year-old beauty on her ‘Formation World Tour’ earlier this year, but he has admitted he tried to avoid eye contact with the ‘Crazy in Love’ singer because he was so overwhelmed being in the superstar’s presence, although he had no problem getting along with her rapper husband Jay Z backstage.
During an appearance on US TV show ‘The View’, he said: “I’m starstruck and shy. It’s Beyonce!
“I got a chance to tour with her and open up for her show in sold out stadiums.
“When I’m onstage I’m not shy at all, but offstage, when I go in my dressing room and talk to my brother, Jay Z, and I see Beyonce there, I’m like, (looking at the floor). The ‘Human’ hitmaker – whose real name is Rory Graham – has beaten ‘Rockabye’ singer Anne-Marie, 25, and pop beauty Dua Lipa, 21, to the prestigious title and was so overwhelmed when he found out that he didn’t believe it.
Speaking of his win, he said: “I thought they had made a mistake. I was up against two pop giants. It’s bloody brilliant! I’m crazy happy. Proper massive grin.”
The 31-year-old singer-songwriter’s win comes after a stellar year for the musician after his hit single ‘Human’ peaked at number 11 in the UK charts.
And the Brighton-born musician is set to release his debut album, of the same name, in February 2017 and is hoping to follow in the footsteps of previous Critics’ Choice winners; Adele, Sam Smith, Florence and The Machine, Emeli Sande and last year’s winner Jack Garratt.

Ronnie Wood love The Rolling Stones to play clubs and pubs

OHMYGOSSIP — Ronnie Wood would love The Rolling Stones to do a club and pub tour.
The 69-year-old rocker has joked that he would like the ‘Satisfaction’ hitmakers – also comprised of Sir Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts and Keith Richards – to perform in intimate venues, and while that is unlikely to happen, Wood says they are in talks to play some of the more offbeat areas of the UK on their next tour, which looks set to be sometime in 2017.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, he quipped: “What I’ve announced is a club tour this year. None of the rest of the band know this yet but it’s going to be great, coming to a town near you.”
He added: “I said to the boys that I want to play the provinces around Britain. That would be great.”
However, the only thing they are waiting on is drummer Charlie Watts, 75, who plans to go on holiday in March.
He said: “We have it sort of tentatively booked in the near future but I know Charlie wants the month of March off. I don’t blame him.”
And the legendary group could have some new music for their fans by the time they hit the road if Keith Richards has anything to do with it.
Wood said: “Keith just tried to get us in the studio in New York last week.
“I was like, ‘Hang on. Do us a favour – we have Christmas coming up up.’ But It’s going to pick up steam again.”
It comes following reports that the ‘Paint It Black’ rockers are planning a new world tour in 2017.
A source previously said: “Mick will never lose that bug for performing.
“Next year is going to be a big one, but not just because fatherhood is looming once again. He’s keen to go back on the road and play in huge stadiums, and some have already been secretly booked out in preparation for a possible show.”

Former Bowie collaborators Mike Garson, Adrian Belew, Earl Slick, Angelo Moore, Gaby Moreno, Bernard Fowler, and Joe Sumner are among just some of the musicians who will come together for the shows.

OHMYGOSSIP — An inquest into the deaths of the members of British band Viola Beach has found that their manager had been driving in a “controlled manner” at the time of the crash.
All four members, Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin, and their manager Craig Tarry, plunged to their deaths from a bridge in a tragic car accident in Sweden in February.
And a court heard during an inquest in their hometown of Warrington, Cheshire, North West England, on Wednesday (07.12.16) that there was “no evidence of drugs” and a “small amount of alcohol” consumed by the group.
While their manager, who was behind the wheel, had “no drugs and alcohol” in his system and had been “driving in a controlled manner”.
However, it was reported that the Nissan Qashqai they were driving in exceeded the speed limit slightly as it was travelling at 108 kilometres in 100 kilometre zone.
BBC News reports that as they were approaching the bridge, warning signals were flashing as the bridge was raised.
The court also heard that Tarry drove on a verge and past traffic through a barrier, which was just 120 metres from the bridge itself, however, the car was being driven in a “controlled manner”.
Tarry is then said to have driven through another barrier, bringing them to just 30 metres away from the bridge before they plummeted into the canal.
Post-mortem examinations found that Leonard, Reeves and Dakin died of head injuries, while Lowe drowned to death.
The court heard that three of the band members sat in the back of the 4×4 had no safety belts on, while the two in the front were belted up.
It was found that there was no errors with the vehicle or the bridge, however, one warning light out of at least 11 wasn’t working.
And while the road could have been slippery due to wet conditions, there was no ice.
Following the deaths of the band, their families released a statement, saying: “We are tremendously proud of everything the boys achieved in such a short space of time. Craig, Jack, Kris, River and Tom shared a huge passion, talent and dedication to music.”
The group’s posthumous self-titled debut LP was number one in the UK charts and several tributes were made over the summer by Coldplay and Blossoms at Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds Festivals respectively.
