Ed Sheeran excited to experiment with set list on tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran says touring will be “easier” this time as he is able to pick which songs he wants to do.
The flame-haired hunk is gearing up for his huge world tour in support of his hotly-anticipated new album ‘÷’ in March and is excited at the prospect of experimenting with his set list.
Speaking to Clara Amfo on her BBC Radio One Show after performing for the Live Lounge, Ed said: “On the first album tour you do the singles and album tracks, then the second tour you do the singles from the first and second and some album tracks, but the shows I’ve been doing recently you can just pick and choose so it’s getting easier to do shows. I can literally play a show of singles now, everything people will know, which is something I’d never been able to do.”
The ‘How Do You Feel?’ hitmaker is still in shock about his reing on the UK Official Chart with his two singles ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ hogging number one and number two respectively.
He said: “The first week they came out it’s always when songs do the best, so that week I was like, ‘Oh cool, they’re doing well’, but now it’s seven weeks in and I think ‘Shape of You’ is still number one and I’ve never had that in my entire career, I think ‘Thinking Out Loud’ was number one for two weeks.”
And the 25-year-old singer previously admitted he didn’t want to play stadiums this year.
He said: “This time, I didn’t want to go straight into stadiums. I wanted to get the tour good first. We’re doing smaller shows … It’s mad to say an arena is a small show cause it’s not, but it was a conscious decision not to book a load of Wembley’s this year.”
Ed has invited close pal James Blunt to join him on the road when he takes his shows to the US later this year.
A source recently said “Ed and James have a real laugh together, it’ll be proper madness on tour. James has a good following in the US so he’ll also play some gigs too, acting as a support for his mate. When you spend so much time on the road it’s always handy to be in good company, and James certainly fits into that category.”

Matt Healy: I'm not from the BRITs world

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Healy doesn’t feel his band The 1975 belong in the “BRIT Awards world”.
The ‘Love Me’ singer and his band mates – Adam Hann, George Daniel and Ross MacDonald – are up for Album of the Year and British Group at this year’s ceremony, which takes place at London’s The O2 on Wednesday (22.02.17), and he has admitted he feels a little out of his comfort zone because he suffers from impostor syndrome, which is the inability to internalise accomplishments.
He said: “It’s an important moment for us because we’re a subversive act to have broken through on such a level that the BRITs would want us to perform.
“I’m not from the BRITs world. I shouldn’t be and everyone needs to know that. I couldn’t get arrested until I was 23.
“Actually, I did get arrested when I was 23, but you know what I mean. I suffer massively from impostor syndrome.”
The 27-year-old rocker has silenced people who think he owes his success to his famous parents, former soap actress Denise Welch and ‘Benidorm’ star Tim Healy.
Matt sees his folks as “a curse” because their established careers have made it hard for him to gain credit as a rock star.
He told The Times newspaper: “My parents did make following a creative pursuit seem like a viable life choice, but ‘Coronation Street’ doesn’t buy you currency in rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a curse, actually.
When people say my parents bought my connections I think: ‘Yeah, the best person to get you a record deal is Curly Watts. Mention Gail Tilsley to Universal Records and you’ve got a number one album in America.”
The ‘Chocolate’ hitmakers will go up against Skepta, David Bowie, Michael Kiwanuka and Kano for the Album of the Year gong.
And in the British Group category they will face off against from Little Mix, Radiohead, Biffy Clyro and Bastille.
The winners will be announced live on ITV1 from 7.30pm on Wednesday (22.02.17).

Ed Sheeran's Rihanna dream

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran wants to work with Rihanna.
The 26-year-old singer may have had a number one single with his track ‘Shape of You’ but he’d love the Bajan beauty to also record a version of it as he’s such a big fan of her work.
He said: “I’ve loved Rihanna since ‘Pom de Replay’ and I kind of still want her to do ‘Shape of You’, she can just have it, she can take it from me.”
And when BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo suggested they do a remix together, he added: “I would love that, I think she’s great…
“She’s super fun too, every now and then you see Instagram photos of her doing really wild stuff she looks like she’s fun.”
And the ‘Castle On the Hill’ hitmaker also revealed a surprising idea for a collaboration – pop duo and former ‘X Factor’ contestants Jedward, aka twins John and Edward Grimes.
He asked the presenter: Have you got Jedward coming in later? I’m really excited about that.
“You know they have one phone between them and when I had a phone, they’d text me and interrupt each other, like, ‘No John, he does not want to speak to you.’ ”
And when Clara confirmed Ed will be singing five songs – including a cover of Little Mix’s ‘Touch’ – on the show’s live lounge later on Tuesday (21.02.17), she stressed Jedward wouldn’t be joining him.
But Ed replied: “Can you imagine though? That would be pretty cool – Jed Sheeran.”

Kate Nash 'taken advantage of' by men before

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Nash has been “taken advantage of” by men in the music industry in the past.
The ‘Pumpkin Soup’ hitmaker is gearing up for her comeback and has opened up about the struggles she faced the first time round as a young singer suffering with anxiety and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and how non-supportive the people around her were.
The 29-year-old pop beauty’s first album since 2013’s ‘Girl Talk’ will include tracks about mental health, which she hopes will make people speak up about their problems.
In a candid interview with Paper magazine, she said: “When I look at people who were working with me, they were all old men and they took advantage of me. I just don’t think there’s a lot of support and care for artists and their mental health. Most artists have mental health issues. This tour I’m doing in the UK – we’re doing it with MIND (a mental health charity in the UK). A lot of the songs I’ve written address the topic of [mental health]. I just want it to become really easy to talk about.”
In March last year, Kate revealed she was sexually assaulted in her own home and stated she was “cornered” in her bathroom and “groped” by a man, and she shared the details in the hope that it will help other victims.
Alongside a portrait picture of herself, the ‘Foundations’ hitmaker wrote on Instagram at the time: “2 days ago I got groped in my own house by a man I don’t know. I was alone & cornered in a bathroom & extremely threatened. I’m sharing this information with you because women are encouraged to keep quiet, not take up space & hide when they get violated. We are scared to come forward because we don’t want to cause trouble or a scene. We don’t want to talk about heavy s**t & make ppl feel uncomfortable. Women & girls are also mostly told they were asking for it & accused of making it up. So sometimes we think twice about coming forward, or we don’t at all. I’m tired of feeling that way. Talking about these issues can a) help to prevent them in the future & b) make us feel stronger, more supported & safer. (sic)”

Gary Barlow wants Jason Orange back for Take That anniversary

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow is desperate for Jason Orange to reunite with Take That to mark their 30th anniversary in 2022.
The 46-year-old frontman is determined to persuade Jason, who quit in 2014, and part-timer Robbie Williams, 43, to be involved in the group’s milestone celebrations.
Gary – who is also joined by Mark Owen and Howard Donald in the man band – told Magic Radio: “We are going to hopefully maybe get Robbie on board and get Jason on board. It might be the 30th anniversary that we end up celebrating.”
Gary – who is currently head judge on his BBC talent show ‘Let It Shine’ – is adamant that one day Robbie and Jason will return at some point and he has assured fans that they are back for good.
He previously said: “We’re at the point in our careers where we feel more excited than we’ve ever been.
“I do picture doing more solo stuff in the future.
“It’s been a few years since I’ve done that.
“I don’t think there’s ever going to be an announcement that says, ‘Take That is finished’, I really don’t.
“I just think it may be different. It may be four. It may be three, it may be five. I think it’s always going to be changing, that bit.”
The ‘Could It Be Magic’ hitmakers celebrate 25 years together in 2017, but won’t be performing live to celebrate for some time afterwards as they want Robbie – who embarks on a solo tour this year – to join them on stage.
Gary recently said: “We are still trying to work out the reunion.
“We are looking at a tour in 2018 and we’ll drop the album at the very end of next year. But these things can change, at the moment that’s what we are hoping for. Robbie will hopefully come along but Jason is happy staying where he is for now.”

Olly Murs felt 'singled out' by BRITs nomination snub

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs felt like he was “singled out” after learning he was the only artist due to perform at the BRITs nomination launch who wasn’t up for an award.
The 32-year-old singer pulled out of his scheduled performance at the pre-show in January after his latest album ’24 Hrs’ had been overlooked by the voting academy, and he insists he didn’t “demand” to be shortlisted.
He said: “Everyone else on the bill was nominated, so it felt wrong and that’s why I didn’t do it. If there were four or five not nominated it’d made sense, but I felt like I was singled out.
“I hate it that people think I thought I deserved a nomination, or was demanding one. I’ve been around long enough to know what it means to perform at an awards nomination event.”
The ‘You Don’t Know Love’ hitmaker felt being snubbed for a potential BRIT was “harsh” and he’s “disappointed”.
However, he strongly believes any other artist in his position would have also refused to perform in such circumstances.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “It’s not like it was my first TV performance, I’ve been nominated for loads of BRITs, so it just felt harsh. Don’t let me get up there and sing. If any other artist was in that position, that had been around as long as me and had success, they’d have done the same thing.
“There’s no doubt I’m not gutted not to get a nomination, it’s what everyone wants because it’s the biggest award in music in the UK. so I am 100 percent disappointed – but congratulations to everyone else.”
The hunky pop star is said to have fallen victim to how the annual awards show has been revamped for 2017.
A source previously said: “Changes in the Brits voting academy this year means the panel is much younger than normal. That has counted against him.”
Olly has been nominated for a BRIT on six previous occasions and at the time, he said he was excited by the prospect of appearing at the launch.
He revealed, too, that he was eager to win one of the gongs for the first time in his career.
He said: “I’m performing at the Brit Awards launch in January.
“I’m hoping to be nominated and pick an award up. I’d really like one.
“The fact that I’m performing at the launch means I’m doing something right.”

Robbie Williams gives away BRIT Award trophies to pals

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams has given away 17 of his BRIT Award trophies to his showbiz pals.
The ‘I Love My Life’ hitmaker has swept up a record 18 statuettes from the prestigious music bash over the years and has only kept one of them because his wife Ayda Field, 37, made sure he held onto his BRITs Icon Award, which he received this year.
His friends lucky enough to get their hands on a gong include England soccer captain Wayne Rooney and comedian Paddy McGuiness.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Robbie said: “I’ve given them all away but Ayda made me keep that.
“You know when Jose Mourinho gave away his Premier League medals straight away?
“It’s a monument to something that’s already happened and I’m on to the next thing and I want more.
“Paddy McGuiness has one. He gave me a comedy award.
“Phil Taylor has one, Wayne Rooney gave me a pair of World Cup boots for one – they’re just in the house.”
When the 43-year-old singer takes to the stage at London’s The O2 on Wednesday (22.02.17) he will smash yet another record as the artist who has performed the most at the glitzy event, and he has something special up his sleeve.
He said: “There might be a few surprises. I think I’ll think of something stupid to do, thinking it’s a great idea.
“If you don’t fall over or let your t**s fall out then nobody remembers.”
Robbie – who has daughter Teddy, four, and two-year-old son Charlton with his 37-year-old ‘Loose Women’ panellist wife – thinks it’s “f*****g odd” that he’s won 18 BRITs.
The ‘Candy’ singer can’t understand why other artists like Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John haven’t had the same success at the ceremony.
He recently said: “It’s kind of that big an achievement that it’s hard to work out why I’ve got 18 Brits and no-one else has. It’s f**king odd.
“Why hasn’t Paul McCartney got 18? Why hasn’t Elton John? Why has a half decent singer who can’t dance from Stoke got 18? It like a glitch in the Matrix.”

Blondie announce London Roundhouse show

OHMYGOSSIP — Blondie have announced plans to perform at London’s Roundhouse.
The ‘Heart of Glass’ hitmakers – comprised of Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke, Leigh Foxx, Matt Katz-Bohen, and Tommy Kessler – will take to the stage at the iconic venue in the English capital for a one off show on May 3, two days before the release of their 11th studio album ‘Pollinator’.
Taking to Twitter on Monday (20.02.17) to share the news, the band wrote: “We’re SO excited to be returning to @RoundhouseLDN on May 3! Tickets on sale Friday, 10am. (sic)”
Also posted on the social media site on Monday was a link to the band’s newest single ‘My Monster’, which features a collaboration from former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
Recently, Debbie Harry, 71, claimed it was “perfect” move for them to collaborate with other artists for the first time on their upcoming album, which also features collaborations from Sia and Charli XCX.
She said: “It was a fresh approach for us to bring in so many outsiders. And its kind of perfect for the stage in our career to do that.
“One of the comments I hear a lot from people my age is, ‘Oh, there’s no good music these days.’ It’s unfathomable to me how anybody could say that. There’s so much great music.
“People’s lives change when they start having families I guess. They’re not going to experiment so much. [As for Blondie], maybe we just have delayed adolescence or something.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Call Me’ singer also said she was “horrified” when she was first called a pop icon, and even now would rather be known as a “star”.
She said: “The first time I heard that phrase was in the nineties, and I was sort of horrified. All I could think of was, you know, a religious figure or something. And, oh God, I can’t bear that. I don’t know if I believe that’s a good word for it.
“I think I like the idea of being a star, a superstar or a pop star. It seems more in keeping with your real, relative value. Icon is like, you need to die first, right? You should be dead and then you can become an icon. And I’m not dead yet.”
Blondie will play London’s Roundhouse on May 3, and tickets go on sale on Friday (24.02.17) at 10am.

Last year, saw James Bay close the event with his first ever headline show at a festival.
The ‘Scars’ hitmaker told thousands of fans in the crowd he was trying to hold back the “fear” of headlining, but he had no need to worry as the audience belted out every lyric of every one of his songs.

Robbie Williams wants to record track with Liam Gallagher

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams wants to record a song with his long-time rival Liam Gallagher.
The ‘Party Like A Russian’ hitmaker famously fell out with the Oasis star back in the 90s but has seemingly put the differences behind them aside as he confessed a collaboration between the pair would be “f***ing amazing”.
Asked when he last saw the singer, Robbie told NME: “Backstage at the Brits in – I don’t know – 2009? He was just walking past the dressing room. He’s got an album coming out and primarily I have always been a fan of Oasis and him. I’m looking forward to his album coming out …
“It would, it would be f***ing amazing [if they did something together]! But I don’t think he’s got it together enough to allow himself to do that. He’s not gonna work with f***ing Robbie Williams. It’s really unfortunate for me because I’d f***ing love it. And it would shock the world for a day.”
The pair famously fell out in the 1990s when Noel Gallagher, Liam’s older brother, called Robbie “the fat dancer from Take That”. A few years later, Liam started dating Nicole Appleton – who was Robbie’s ex-girlfriend – and during an appearance at the BRIT Awards in 2000, Robbie offered to fight the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ singer for £100,000.
However, the duo are now on better terms, with Robbie recently describing Liam as the “voice of our generation”.
He shared: “If it’s on a flight then I will watch it [the documentary ‘Supersonic’]. That was a f***ing amazing time. High-octane stuff.
“Where were you while we were getting high? Well I was there – but I pushed it way too far. Things like that show everyone having an ace time but not the hangover.
“So yeah, I’d watch it on a plane but not if it reminded me of the hangover as I’ve been trying to get sober ever since. Liam was the voice of our generation and the soundtrack to our lives and the music industry needs a Liam.”

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunite in studio

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have reunited in the studio.
The Beatles legends sent fans into a frenzy about a reunion of the iconic group on Monday (20.02.17), as the only two surviving members, but it appears McCartney was just laying down some bass guitar on Starr’s forthcoming solo album.
Alongside a photo of the pair, Starr, 76, wrote: “Thanks for coming over man and playing Great Bass. I love you man peace and love. (sic)”
Starr also shared a picture with musician Joe Walsh, with the caption: “And look out Joe W came out to play. What a day I’m having. Peace and love. (sic)”
The pair are working on the ‘All You Need Is Love’ drummer’s follow-up to 2015’s ‘Postcard From Paradise’ and it’s the first time McCartney has recorded with his band mate since 2010, when he provided bass for ‘Peace Dream’ and ‘Walk With You’ on Starr’s 2010 record ‘Y Not’.
It comes after McCartney – whose last releases were 2015’s ‘All Day’ with Kanye West and ‘FourFiveSeconds’ with Kanye and Rihanna – was dubbed a “really talented magician”.
The 74-year-old musician was recently spotted showing off his trickery at a party in Los Angeles, and onlookers have described his act as “really good”.
One fellow party-goer said: “Sir Paul is a really talented magician. He often performs tricks during any showbiz bash he attends. He’s actually really good, people are always so shocked.”
It has been claimed that The Beatles legend is thinking about expanding his career prospects and making his magic tricks available for hire.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “He even mentioned that he would have to start hiring himself out for parties.”

Anne-Marie to 'party really hard' if she wins BRIT Award

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne-Marie is going to “party really hard” if she wins British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards.
The ‘Alarm’ hitmaker is up for the prestigious accolade at the bash held at London’s The O2 on Wednesday night (22.02.17) and she is quietly confident that she stands a chance of beating her peers Rag’n’ Bone Man, Stormzy, Skepta and Blossoms to the prize as she is the only woman shortlisted in the category.
Ahead of the ceremony, she told London’s Evening Standard newspaper: “In the British Breakthrough Act I’m the only girl nominated so I already feel like I’ve won a little bit, I’m halfway there already.
“It would be amazing, just the fact that it’s the BRITs, it’s all about UK music, it would just be amazing. I don’t want to think that I’m going to do it but It would be incredible if that happened.”
However, if she does pick up the prize on the night, the 25-year-old singer – who missed out on the BRITs Critics’ Choice award, which went to ‘Human’ hitmaker Rag’n’ Bone Man – hasn’t got a speech ready, but admits she’ll be trying to stop herself from cursing on stage.
She added to the publication: “I’m not going to have a speech prepared.
“I’m just going to remind myself to not swear because I’m so bad at that. I’ll try not to. I’m just going to party really hard if I win. I think I’m going to go to every single after party.”
Meanwhile, the pop beauty has teased that she plans to release her debut solo LP later this year.
She said: “It’s definitely this year, it’s definitely more towards summer and autumn.
“I haven’t got a specific date yet, but it’s all ready.
“I just need to release a couple more songs before I release the album, just to get some more stuff out before it’s there.
“I’m so, so happy, which is why I feel better. I feel good about everything because I love my own music – I just feel really satisfied at the moment.
“I feel like whatever happens, I’m just knowing it comes from my heart. I’ve absolutely loved it, it’s exciting.”

Metallica want to perform on the moon

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Trujillo wants Metallica to perform on the moon.
The ‘Nothing Else Matters’ group’s bassist – who is joined by James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich in the heavy metal band – wants to play live in some different locations this year and after performing in the Antarctic his next dream is to play live in space, which he’s hoping they’ll do on their forthcoming world tour.
Speaking about the legendary metallers shows in support of their latest LP, ‘Hardwired … To Self Destruct’, Trujillo told US radio station WRIF: “We’re doing what we’ve been doing. We’re celebrating the energy of the new music and working up the new songs, seeing what works.
“It’s an exciting time. We feel there’s great momentum. This album has been embraced by the world. We didn’t expect… I mean, we love that to happen; I don’t know that we expected all this. And it’s something that is always exciting for us.
“We enjoy playing small shows, big shows, whatever. There’s the energy of the visual production, and all that stuff starts to happen, so when you see it come to life, it’s pretty exciting.
“We’re gonna go to some really great places on this trip. Last tour, we went to Antarctica. And hopefully we’ll get to the Moon this time. [Laughs] I don’t know.”
Trujillo’s aspiration to rock the moon comes after Metallica’s plagued performance with Lady Gaga at the Grammy Awards.
Frontman Hetfield, 53, was left “livid” after his vocals were completely inaudible on stage at Los Angeles’ Staples Center last Sunday (12.02.17) because his microphone was switched off, and although he overcome the difficulty by sharing the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker’s mic for the second part of the performance of ‘Moth Into Flame’, his bandmates had never seen him so angry.
Drummer Ulrich said: “I haven’t seen him like that in 20 years.
“I mean he was livid. I mean, he’s aged really well and he’s a pretty chill guy, but the first five or 10 minutes in that dressing room was not a lot of fun.”

Liam Gallagher warns brother Noel about his amazing new songs

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has warned his brother Noel that he’s coming to shake things up with his new music.
The 44-year-old rocker has put out a message to his 1.43 million Twitter followers insisting that the songs he is working on for his forthcoming debut solo LP will be better than anything his older sibling and bitter rival has ever done with his High Flying Birds solo project.
He tweeted: “Listening forward to my new tunes all you NGHFB fans are gonna have nowhere to run or die Ha ha … Look out be brave LGx … As you were you wanna be LG X (sic)”
The ‘Songbird’ hitmaker also made a series of cryptic posts which could be quotes of lyrics from his new tracks.
One tweet read: “My heart is together my head is exploding why don’t you come back to me Ddjknhfhjlpyteshkkysahjgdsuujfjjkjuh (sic)”
While another post on the micro-blogging site said: “When they gave you roses and believed your wild excuses you we’re sealing the deal LG x (sic)”
Liam and Noel, 49, have barely spoken since 2009 when the guitarist quit the band following a backstage bust-up with his younger sibling.
The hellraising frontman has used Twitter to make comical jibes at his older brother frequently comparing pictures of him to a “potato”.
And he previously admitted he has no intention of easing up on the Twitter jibes he aims at him and has told Oasis fans to chill out about their feud, which has run since.
He said: “Lots of people say I need to chill out about Noel. Not until they stop Twitter. He will always get it from me.
“I’ve heard [my tweets] really annoy him. Someone told me the other week that the only thing that does his nut in are my tweets. Good. They will carry on and they will get bigger and better.
He slagged me off when we were in the same band! He’d do his interview, I’d come in to do mine and they’d go, ‘He doesn’t like you, does he?’ I’d be saying how great he was. He still has pops. He needs to know that I ain’t going away.”

One Direction fans haven't forgiven James Arthur for Louis Tomlinson spat

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur says One Direction fans haven’t forgiven him for his old feud with Louis Tomlinson.
The ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker might have made up with the 25-year-old heartthrob after they crossed wires in a Twitter and text message spat they had during which James branded Louis a “little b**ch” and described 1D as nothing more than a “marketing product”, but the boy band’s loyal followers won’t let it go.
James said: They still hold a grudge even though we’ve made friends and stuff.
“They were like, ‘We’ll never forget what you did!'”
The 28-year-old hunk says they get on like a house on fire as they like the same stuff.
He added: “We’re just a couple of chavs really. We’re both common, we’re both football fans, we love the same bands and he’s a sound lad.”
The pair will be partying together at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday (22.02.17), and James, who is nominated for British Single and Video of The Year – isn’t hopeful that he will pick up a gong on the night.
He told the Metro newspaper: “I don’t feel nervous because I’m just buzzing to be nominated. I probably won’t win.”
The ‘Impossible’ singer previously shared his boozy after party plans with Louis and he may even hit up Ed Sheeran.
He recently shared: “I think I might go pretty hard at the after-party to be honest.
“It will just be so cool to be there, it’s a great thing considering the journey I have been on.
“I am going to be celebrating regardless, just to be nominated is worth a few rinks – It’s a huge achievement.
“I’m not taking anyone with, I will just go with the team.
“I spoke to Ed and Louis about the after-party already.
“I will be hitting it up with one of them two, I haven’t decided yet who. Louis said he’s down yeah, I think Ed is sticking around too.
“A few people have mentioned meeting up so let’s see what happens.”

Gary Barlow in talks for Disney album

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow is in talks to release an album with Disney.
The 46-year-old Take That frontman is reportedly holding discussions to release a record consisting of tracks from his West End show ‘The Girls’, a collaboration with the legendary entertainment conglomerate.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “It’s a massively exciting opportunity for Gary to take the music even further.
“Working with Disney would be huge, and it is eager to develop future projects with him.”
It comes after Gary and his bandmates – Mark Owen and Howard Donald – unveiled lead single ‘Giants’ from their forthcoming album ‘Wonderland’ on Friday (17.02.17).
The tune comes from the band’s first album in over two years.
With ‘Wonderland’, the group have teamed up with a host of well known producers including Tony Hoffer (Beck, Supergrass, Goldfrapp), Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, Gwen Stefani) and Mark Crossy (Arctic Monkeys, The Gaslight Anthem) and the group worked on ‘Giants’ with Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years).
The LP will also mark the first album to be released on vinyl since their hit LP ‘Everything Changes’ in 1993.
It comes after the band – who have no less than seven UK number one albums and 12 number one singles to their name – announced they would be heading out on tour across the UK, with the majority of the 32 dates already sold out.
‘Wonderland’ is slated for release on March 24.
