Chance The Rapper hosting special birthday bash

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance The Rapper is hosting a special event for his birthday.
The ‘Cocoa Butter Kisses’ hitmaker turns 24 on Sunday (16.04.17) and is celebrating in style by hosting a concert in his home city of Chicago, at the Studio Paris venue.
His manager, known as Pat The Manager, put a poster for the event on his Twitter page on Wednesday (12.04.17), which boasted as yet unannounced “special guests” for the show which starts at 9pm on Sunday.
Pat wrote alongside the poster: “Better than any festival that ever existed. #CHANCETHEBIRTHDAY (sic)”
The poster also highlights that all ticket proceeds will benefit SocialWorks, a non-profit organisation co-founded by Chance – real name Chancelor Bennett.
Meanwhile Chance – who recently triumphed at the Grammys, winning three awards including Best Rap Album – previously said he was considering moving back in with his parents Lisa and Ken.
He said: “I’m in a unique position [with] a lot of the things you would think you would get past because of the ‘successes’ that I’ve had. Like, I’m honestly, in real life, thinking about moving in with my parents right now. I think, anybody, if they were in my position – if they were 23 with a kid for the first time and were working – they would find comfort in being able to stay with their parents. If their parents are willing. I guess that’s just what it all comes down to; if they’re willing.
“I’m in a position where I want to be closer to my parents now, because I realise how important that is. There was never a point, ever, in my life where I can remember loving someone as much or more than I love my mom until I met my daughter [Kinsley, 18 months]. So, it made me understand that my mom loves me more than she loves anybody in the world, and that’s crazy to me. So of course I wanna be around her.”
Chance The Rapper’s birthday event starts 9pm on Sunday April 16, at Studio Paris in Chicago.

“Producing this recording and working with our brilliant Musical Supervisor Nick Finlow and studio pros Andy Bradfield and Tris Penna has been a dream come true. I am thrilled to share the Dreamgirls Original London Cast Recording with those who have loved the production for 35 years as well as with those who are just discovering it now.”

Barry Manilow wants Bruno Mars duet

OHMYGOSSIP — Barry Manilow wants to duet with Bruno Mars.
The ‘Mandy’ hitmaker was asked if he’d like to collaborate on a song with Ed Sheeran, but he said he could see himself working with the ’24K Magic’ hitmaker more, and Manilow is hoping he’ll take him up on the offer.
He said: “Yeah but I think I would choose Bruno Mars because he’s right up my alley. He’s a crazy performer, he comes from the kind of performing family and I just love him. That would be so great if he were interested. I met him once and it was great, we both gushed about each other but nothing has ever come out of it.”
The 73-year-old music legend also revealed that he has never been asked to play Britain’s legendary Glastonbury festival in Somerset, South West England, but he is unlikely to do it as he admitted just the thought of playing at a big event with loads of “loud” rock bands “terrifies” him.
He told Forbes magazine: “It’s never come up but those big rock and roll festivals would terrify me. I don’t think anybody would come (to see me). I’m not a rock and roll artist and that’s what those kinds of huge festivals have, they have loud bands and that’s not me. No-one’s offered that to me.”
The ‘Copacabana’ singer – who secretly tied the knot with his manager and long-term partner Garry Kief in 2014 – is a New Yorker though-and-through and says the people of the Big Apple have “big bullsh*t metres”, which has come in useful in the showbiz industry.
He explained: “If you get into trouble then you want someone from New York standing next to you because if there’s a building on fire they will run into the building, not away from it. It’s one of the things that I treasure about being raised in New York and that bullsh*t meter that I have in me has served me very well in this world of showbusiness.”

Frances gets intimate with fans in London

OHMYGOSSIP — Frances joked she could hear everything her fans were saying about her performance while she was on stage at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Tuesday night (11.04.17).
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter – whose real name is Sophie Frances Cooke – took the stage at the historic venue to play songs from her acclaimed debut album ‘Things I’ve Never Said’ – which was released in March.
The 2016 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award nominee started her gig with the stunning ballad ‘Don’t Worry About Me’ which had the audience hooked immediately.
Ahead of performing her catchy track ‘Let It Out’, Frances told her adoring audience fans that she feels like a nosy stalker on stage. She said: “I got these little mikes in front of the stage which wind things into my ears, it’s so bizarre. I mean, I can hear what I’m doing. But the little mics at the side means I can hear you.”
The singer quipped that at least she gets immediate feedback about her shows, adding: “Like, I can hear everything that you’re saying to each other. I know all of my imprint.”
Among the laughter of the audience, Frances invited her fans to sing along the cheerful melody of ‘Let It Out’, saying: “You might know this part.”
But for the “boyfriends and girlfriends who’ve been dragged here”, Frances gave exact instructions of how to sing the chorus.
Later on, Frances’ band members departed the stage so she could perform the beautiful ‘Say It Again’ alone on stage and she admitted that she “loves” being able to change between slow and more upbeat tracks, declaring “I love the balance,” while strumming the first notes.
Before ending her concert, the red-haired musician thanked her fans for coming out to support her and making the evening so incredible.
She said: “I didn’t say it actually, thank you very much for being here. I realised I didn’t introduce myself. My name is on the front of the building, so … I’m Frances.”
The down-to-earth-newcomer finished her gig with the track everyone had been waiting for; the emotional ballad ‘Grow’.
Introducing the song, she said: “I just released a new version of this actually, called ‘Grow (Stories)’. I was like, I can’t call it ‘Grow (New Version)’. This is so nuts.”
One member in the audience suggested that she should call the track ‘Grow Bigger’ which sparked laughter among the crowd.
After the gig, Frances partied to celebrate as she posted on Twitter: “Drunk, happy and surrounded by friends. THANK YOU LONDAAAAAAAAN (sic)”
But it seems she was feeling the effects of hangover on Wednesday (12.04.17) as she uploaded a selfie to the social media site showing her sat on the sofa holding a Domino’s pizza box along with the caption: “So. Happy. Right. Now. (sic)”

Ed Sheeran films Galway Girl video in Galway

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran fans lined the streets of Galway, Ireland on Tuesday (11.04.17) to be in his music video for ‘Galway Girl’.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Wednesday (12.04.17) to share a photo of a large group of school children stood behind barriers waving to him, and he thanked them for taking part in the promo clip for his smash hit song from his record-breaking LP ‘Divide’.
Alongside the picture, he wrote: “Thank you to Galway and all the wonderful people in it for helping us shoot a music video yesterday x (sic)”
Several images have appeared online from the shoot, including the city’s Salthill House.
The ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena this evening (12.04.17).
Ed and the woman who inspired the track co-wrote the song together.
Niamh Dunne from the band Beoga previously revealed how she ended up writing a song about herself after becoming the inspiration for the flame-haired singer’s popular track.
She said: “I am in a band called Beoga and we actually co-wrote the song with Ed. We were over in Suffolk last year recording with him, so that was kind of when the song came together. I suppose I was in front of him so he just wrote a song about what was in front of him so that was how it came about.
“It started with a mutual friend of ours, Foy Vance. They were on tour together and they played some of Beoga’s tracks in the van together and Ed liked it so when he was making his new album he emailed us and asked if we would be up for doing some recording.”

J. Geils dies aged 71

OHMYGOSSIP — J. Geils, the founder of The J. Geils Band, has died at the age of 71.
The American guitarist – famous for the group’s 1981 classic ‘Centerfold’, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 in February 1982, and stayed there for six weeks – was found dead at his home in Groton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday (11.04.17).
The Boston Globe reports that the musician – whose full name was John Warren ‘J.’ Geils Jr. – died of natural causes and that the police department will still be investigating his death, though foul play was not suspected.
Geils founded the group – who had hits with ‘Must Of Got Lost’, ‘Love Stinks’ and ‘Come Back’ – in 1967, and quit the group in 2012 over a legal dispute.
During their five-decade career they have been nominated four times for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but have never been inducted.
The blues rockers, also including Magic Dick, Danny Klein, Seth Justman and Peter Wolf, originally split up the year after their last record, ‘You’re Gettin’ Even While I’m Gettin’ Odd’, which was released in 1984.
In 1999, they reunited for the odd reunion show, but without Geils, who sued the rest of the band for using the group’s name and for touring under it without him.
He managed to trademark the name in the nasty legal battle, but they vowed to fight it and perform as The J. Geils Band.
Despite their ups and downs, Peter – who fronted the group from 1967 to 1983 – paid a touching tribute to Geils on hearing of his passing.
He wrote on his Facebook page: “Thinking of all the times we kicked it high and rocked down the house! R.I.P. Jay Geils” PW (sic)”

Tinie Tempah started rapping on £20 microphone

OHMYGOSSIP — Tinie Tempah’s first ever raps were recorded on a £20 microphone from PC World.
The ‘Pass Out’ hitmaker has opened up about his humble start in life and how he has had to graft his way to becoming a star, which is something he has put across in his forthcoming LP ‘Youth’, which is packed with songs about his “emotional” journey to the top.
He revealed how the cheap recording device from the British computer store was the only thing he could afford to make music.
He said: “A lot of people see it [his career] as glitz and glamour but this has by no means been easy at all. I grew up in Peckham, I got a £20 microphone from PC World and started recording my first raps when I was 12 or 13.
“We didn’t really have anything there weren’t that many prospects or hopes.
“There were hardly any British rappers we could look at. I’ve put in a lot of graft.”
One way Tinie got inspiration for his first record in four years – the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Demonstration’ – was by allowing strangers to use his studio in Greenwich, London.
The 28-year-old rapper’s record is full of collaborations with people as a result of making his studio an open house for artists at all levels.
He told the Metro newspaper: “One of the first things I did was to open my studio and let all sorts of different people come in – not necessarily to be connected to be me but just to use it. As a result you have that awkward encounter, you go and make tea and, before you know it, you’re talking to someone you probably wouldn’t have otherwise.”
Now Tinie lives in an East London home that once belonged to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen – who died in 2010 – which is full of stuffed animals, which he recently said helped with his creativity for ‘Youth’.
He said: “The giraffe was already there, but I bought a zebra, which is my favourite animal, so that the giraffe could have a friend in the house.
“I’m not going to lie because I get some weird vibes in there, but it’s positive and I think it’s added and contributed to my creativity.”

Robbie Williams' songwriting dries up

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams’ songwriting has dried up.
The 43-year-old singer has revealed he has hundreds of unused songs locked away in a secret vault, and while he plans on releasing some of them, he is lacking inspiration for new ideas as he admits he’s said the lines “I’m neurotic, I messed up” and “I love women” too many times before.
He confessed: “I’m definitely running out of ideas. I don’t know how many ways I can say: ‘I’m neurotic and I messed up. Or: ‘I love you, love me, I’m thick.’
“Or: Women, I like women.’
“There’s only so many times you can go to the well before the well becomes dry.”
On the songs he has stored up, the ‘I Love My Life’ hitmaker told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve written 12 studio albums so far, this new album took 80 songs to create it, to then whittle it down to 11.
“And so it’s been with all of the albums so over a period of time I’ve probably clocked up 500 or 600 songs that are finished and maybe another 200 or 300 that are not.”
Robbie – who has Teddy, four, and two-year-old Charlton with his wife Ayda Field – plans on doing something grand when he drops his next record, but he says it will require a lot of “oxygen” as he admits it’s harder to get his songs played on the radio nowadays, although he has vowed never to retire from music.
He explained: “I’ll do something bombastic just to make a noise because the oxygen that I need to make my album is eroding.
“That happens in the music industry, the radio stops playing you and you got into a semi-retirement home and I don’t want to do that.”
It was recently reported that the ‘Angels’ singer is planning to release his next record – the follow-up to 2016’s ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show’ – on YouTube as a compilation titled ‘Under The Radar Volume 2’.
A source said: “Robbie has the songs recorded and ready to go. The track-listing for ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show’ was meticulously picked by him as he wanted it to have a certain sound but he has loads of great music still in the vault.
“There’s also intriguing stuff left over from previous albums that fans will want to hear.
“After previously keeping his fans waiting so long for new music he wants to keep them interested.”

Harry Styles faces 'tight race' to top the charts

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles faces an “incredibly tight race” to land his first solo No. 1.
The 23-year-old singer recently launched his debut track as a solo artist, ‘Sign Of The Times’, but it’s still far from certain he will secure the coveted No. 1 slot later this week, with Ed Sheeran’s hit single ‘Shape Of You’ providing stiff competition.
A source said: “‘Sign Of The Times’ is only at No. 12 on Spotify overall. That might not be enough when the streaming ratio is properly added come the end of the week.”
Harry currently leads Ed by around 10,000 sales, according to the latest figures, but that gap could conceivably be closed by the time the final result is announced later this week.
The insider explained to The Sun newspaper: “‘Shape Of You’ is still getting 488,000 daily streams to Harry’s 277,000.
“It is now an incredibly tight race. It’ll be fascinating to see who comes out on top on Friday.”
Earlier this month, Harry compared releasing his new music to giving birth.
The One Direction heartthrob admitted that branching out on his own away from the band has left him feeling “vulnerable”.
He recently explained: “It’s very much like giving birth – without the pain, obviously. It was very exciting. It was nerve wracking. Also, very exciting to have a job again.
“But I think honestly, any time you are putting something out that’s kind of a piece of you, I guess it’s quite a vulnerable feeling. But it is exciting. I like it. And I think that helps in terms of the nerves. I think if I was putting something out that I didn’t like, then I’d be much more nervous.”

Royal Blood announce second album

OHMYGOSSIP — Royal Blood have announced their second album ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’
The rock duo – comprised of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – took to Twitter on Tuesday (11.04.17) to share a video of the two of them painting a mural of what appears to be the album artwork. At the end of the video, the words “How Did We Get So Dark” can be seen on the screen, followed by the album’s release date as it says “June 16th”.
Beside the video, the pair wrote: “How Did We Get So Dark? LP2 June 16th (sic)”
The record will mark the first since their self-titled debut venture in 2014, and could possibly be the first piece of new music to come from the duo since they performed a new track called ‘Hook, Line and Sinker’ at Reading Festival in the UK last year.
Last month, the pair took to Twitter to share a 48-second clip preview of an unnamed track alongside video footage from their time in the studio.
They captioned the clip: “This is us then, where are you now? (sic)”
The ‘Figure It Out’ hitmakers also previously posted a 17-second video clip of 27-year-old frontman Mike getting tattooed with the year 2017 inked on his arm back in December, leading fans to predict they are to drop their eagerly-anticipated second record this year.
Alongside the teaser posted on their Facebook page, they simply wrote: “2017.”
The ‘Little Monster’ rockers last gave an update on their next record in October 2015, when they revealed they’d built a mini recording studio inside their tour bus, whilst also admitting they won’t release new music until it “sounds amazing”.
Mike previously said: “I built a studio in the back of our bus.
“It’s very hard to write when everything keeps falling over because the driver’s taken a massive corner. It was our writing den – we’d have Clint Eastwood movies playing with the volume down.”

Kendrick Lamar's new LP features U2 and Rihanna

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendrick Lamar’s new album features collaborations with Rihanna and U2.
The chart-topping rap star has been teasing his fans about his third record over the last few months and has finally unveiled the track-listing for the LP – the follow-up to 2015’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ – which is titled ‘Damn’.
Sharing the artwork on Twitter, he wrote: “DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar. (sic)”
The album sleeve has 14 songs including ‘Loyalty’ with the Bajan beauty and ‘XXX’ with the Irish rock band fronted by Bono.
Kendrick recently revealed the record will centre on the idea of learning to accept situations he may not necessarily like, such as when a father has to watch his daughter date a boy for the first time.
Using the concept of parenthood to explain his thinking, he explained: “One day, I may have a little girl … She’s gonna grow up. She’s gonna be a child I adore, I’m gonna always love her, but she’s gonna reach that one point where she’s gonna start experiencing things. And she’s gonna say things or do things that you may not condone, but it’s the reality of it and you know she was always gonna get to that place. And it’s disturbing.
“But you have to accept it. You have to accept it and you have to have your own solutions to figure out how to handle the action and take action for it.”
Kendrick explained hopes he articulated those concerns on his new album.
He previously said: “When I say ‘the little girl,’ it’s the analogy of accepting the moment when she grows up. We love women, we enjoy their company.
“At one point in time I may have a little girl who grows up and tells me about her engagements with a male figure – things that most men don’t want to hear. Learning to accept it, and not run away from it, that’s how I want this album to feel.”
The full track-list for ‘Damn’ is as follows:
‘Blood’
‘DNA’
‘Yah’
‘Element’
‘Feel’
‘Loyalty’ feat. Rihanna
‘Pride’
‘Humble’
‘Lust’
‘Love’
‘XXX’ feat. U2
‘Fear’
‘God’
‘Duckworth’

Joe Jonas prefers being in a band to being solo artist

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Jonas prefers being in DNCE to being a solo artist because it’s too “overwhelming” going it alone.
The 27-year-old singer shot to fame as one third of the Jonas Brothers in 2005 at the age of 12 – along with his siblings Nick, 24, and Kevin, 29 – and unlike his youngest brother Nick he is much more comfortable being in a group as its less “competitive”.
Speaking to the new issue of Something About magazine, he admitted: “It can be pretty stressful and overwhelming, and I think there’s a lot more competition when you’re solo. I’ve always felt comfortable being surrounded by really talented, hard-working individuals and I’ve been lucky to meet three of them again in my life who love this and work just as hard as me, and also have just as much fun. That’s key for us.”
DNCE have announced their new single featuring Nicki Minaj called ‘Kissing Strangers’ and have promised they will drop new music to follow up their 2016 self-titled debut LP in the not so distant future.
On when fans can expect new tunes, the ‘Cake By The Ocean’ hitmaker said: “We’ve been working on lots of new music. We don’t have a set idea of when and what we’re going to release because we’re still vibing on this first record, but we’ve been excited to get something out there and continue to create. On tour it’s hard to find studio time and our few days off we end up passing out. But it’s not too far away that people will be able to hear new stuff.”
DNCE’s new single ‘Kissing Strangers’ featuring Nicki Minaj will be released on Friday (14.04.17).

Foo Fighters delay album for Glastonbury

OHMYGOSSIP — Foo Fighters have delayed their next album to focus on pulling off a blinding set at Glastonbury.
The ‘Walk’ hitmakers were expected to spend a lot of time in the recording studio working on the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Sonic Highways’ over the coming months, but guitarist Chris Shiflett has said they will be concentrating all of their energy on their forthcoming headline slot at the music extravaganza at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England, where they will top the bill on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday June 24.
The 45-year-old rocker told website musicfeeds.com.au: “We’ve got some shows coming up this summer. I’m not sure what the plan is for a new record. I’m sure there will be one at some point, but right now we’ve just got a bunch of gigs coming up this summer and some festivals. I’m sure that there’ll be more coming down the pipe. And when the Powers That Be that manipulate this kind of information want the world to know, they’re gonna tell everybody!”
Chris was joined by frontman Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear as they announced the news of their headline performance in a video on Glastonbury’s Facebook page and founder Michael Eavis confirmed the news at a special concert near the festival venue in Somerset back in February.
Taking to the stage to introduce the band, he said: “Foo Fighters are the best band in the world right now. They came to Worthy Farm this afternoon to tell me that they’re going to headline Glastonbury. Saturday night. June 25th. Be there or be square.”
In the Facebook video, Michael and his daughter Emily were seen driving up to the famous Pyramid stage, where the band were sitting with their instruments.
However, Emily informed them that they were four months too early.
Michael said: “This is the world famous Pyramid stage that you’re headlining on.
And Emily explained: “I’m really sorry but it’s not tonight. Give us four months.”
However, they then agreed that the band would play a gig at a venue in Frome, Somerset instead, which was also broadcast live on Facebook.
Foo Fighters were forced to pull out of the 2015 festival after frontman Grohl broke his leg.
It is the indie rock group’s third time headlining, the last being in 2003 and they made their debut in 1997.
And, in 2011 they stormed the Park Stage with a surprise set.

Sam Smith collaborates with Timbaland

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith has been in the studio with Timbaland.
The 45-year-old producer posted a picture on his Instagram account with the ‘Writings on the Wall’ singer teasing their collaboration.
He captioned the photo: “It was a pleasure working with this man @samsmithworld #puretalent #goodvibes #makingmemories and #timeless #music (sic)”
The ‘Give It To Me’ hitmaker has worked with a number of artists including Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson and Beyonce as well as Rihanna, Kanye and Jay Z.
Following his debut success with ‘In The Lonely Hour’ back in 2014, which reached top 10 across the globe, Sam has been quiet since then after taking a break from the limelight in 2015.
The 24-year-old singer’s first album spent eight weeks at number one on the Official UK Albums Chart and sold more than a million copies.
Last year the singer teamed up with former 2016 BRITs Critics’ Choice nominee Frances for his second album.
Speaking about the song, the fizzy-haired beauty – real name Sophie Frances Cooke – recently said: “It was amazing. We wrote a song a few weeks ago for his second album so it was really fun.”
And Oscar-winner Sam – who first came to prominence in 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure’s breakthrough single ‘Latch’ – previously revealed that the tracks on his new album will be “even deeper” than his first which was heavy on emotion.
He said: “I’m putting my heart even more out on the f***ing line. I’m going even deeper. I can’t believe I’m even doing it, but I’m going even deeper.”
Speaking of his first album, he previously said: “The core of the album, songs like ‘Stay With Me,’ ‘I’m Not the Only One’ – actually all the songs except ‘Money on My Mind’ – I really love and I’m really proud of the classic-ness of the way they sound, because I still listen to them now and I still love them.”

Madonna's Vogue producer sues Warner Music Group

OHMYGOSSIP — The producer behind Madonna’s biggest hit ‘Vogue’ is suing Warner Music Group for unpaid royalties.
Shep Pettibone – who has also worked with the likes of the late George Michael and Sir Elton John in the past – co-wrote and produced the 58-year-old pop megastar’s 1990 single and he believes he is owed the sum of £500,000 as he has claimed they failed to pay him what he deserves.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Shep says it was in 2012 when he and Warner Brothers were sued after they allegedly swiped the song – which featured on Madonna’s ‘I’m Breathless’ LP – that he felt let down by the label and claims they kept money from him to pay off the massive legal bills for the case, which is said to have cost them more than $700,000.
Shep now has a legal team working for him to get Warner Brothers to pay him what he believes he is rightfully owned for his contribution to Madonna’s chart-topping track.
In 2016, Madonna won the copyright infringement case from 2012.
A company called VMG Salsoul, LLC claimed a tiny part of ‘Vogue’ mirrored that of their 80s song ‘Love Break’.
They alleged that Shep pinched an unlicensed “horn hit” from their popular track and they felt they were owned rights to Madonna’s song.
However, the horns were just 23 seconds long and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit decided to it was too short to take action.
At the time, judge Susan Graber said:
“Defendants copied, at most, a quarter-note single horn hit and a full measure containing rests and a double horn hit. A reasonable jury could not conclude that an average audience would recognise an appropriation of the Love Break composition.”

Tinie Tempah to star at South West Four festival

OHMYGOSSIP — Tinie Tempah has been added to the line-up for this year’s South West Four festival.
The 28-year-old rap star is included alongside a host of other big-name acts who have been confirmed for the festival in London, with star attractions including Sigma and MistaJam.
The festival is being staged on August 26th and 27th on Clapham Common, where Tinie will deliver an exclusive summer performance in the capital.
Organisers of the festival said: “Come August Bank Holiday Saturday, Tinie will step on stage and showcase tracks from his brand new album ‘Youth’, which is tipped by many to be one of the albums of the year, as well as all the hits with which he has made his name.
“Hailing from South London, it’s only fitting for this sensation to return to his roots and take centre stage and put on a performance that will rank as one of the highlights of his hugely successful career!”
Tinie’s new album is set to be released later this week and the rap star previously revealed he is always looking for inspiration for his music.
He shared: “Even when I go to bed, I’m still thinking about this. I watch every single type of musician, everything about them: what they wear, how they talk, what their videos like, what jokes they make. I watch and absorb everything.”
Tinie also insisted he is trying to create his own path in the music industry, rather than follow in the footsteps of rappers in America.
He said: “I’m not trying to be like an American rapper, I’m doing it my own way.”
