Taylor Swift announces 2 live shows in December

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has announced two new live shows in support of her new album.
The 27-year-old pop megastar hasn’t been on stage in over eight months, but all of that looks set to change in December as she has agreed to perform at two radio station-sponsored festivals: 99.7 Now!’s Poptopia in San Jose on December 2 and the B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago on December 7 in conjunction with her forthcoming sixth studio LP ‘Reputation’, which is currently set for release on November 10.
It’s also been reported that the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker will hit the stage at the 2017 MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) as it comes two days after the album drops.
However, Taylor doesn’t have the best history with MTV as her arch-enemy Kanye West notoriously stormed the stage at the Video Music Awards in 2009 because he thought Beyonce deserved the Best Female Video prize over her.
An insider said recently: “Taylor Swift is the number one target for the EMAs.
“She has a great relationship with MTV, despite all her previously Kanye West run-ins, and it would be a wonderful way to perform songs off the new album live.”
The record’s lead single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is an apparent swipe at her sworn enemy and his wife Kim Kardashian West.
First off, Taylor – who is dating 26-year-old British actor Joe Alwyn – slams someone for their “tilted stage” – something Kanye had during his ‘Saint Pablo’ tour in 2016.
Declaring her hate towards the said person, the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker sings the line: “I don’t like your little games/ Don’t like your tilted stage/ The role you made me play/ Of the fool/ No, I don’t like you.”
Taylor unveiled the video for the song at the Video Music Awards in August, and the footage appears to poke fun at her ex Tom Hiddleston and Katy Perry.
In one scene a number of male dancers are seen wearing crop tops with ‘I [heart] TS’ emblazoned on, a clear reference to the vest top with the same slogan which Tom was photographed in during their brief fling.
Taylor was also seen sitting in a bath of jewels during the video, which some believe could be a reference to Kim’s terrifying ordeal last year when armed robbers burst into the star’s hotel room in Paris, France, tied her up and put her in the bathtub while they made off with millions worth of jewels.
The blonde beauty sings: “The role you made me play / Of the fool, no, I don’t like you / I don’t like your perfect crime.”

Janet’s gigs celebrate her life

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson’s creative director wanted fans to celebrate her life with her world tour.
The 51-year-old singer kicked off her ‘State of the World’ shows last month, and Gil Duldulao was determined for the visuals and lighting not to overshadow the ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ hitmaker’s presence and vocals when she took to the stage for the concerts.
Gil explained: “I could have easily been like ‘Hey, listen, I want to do this type of tour, which is let’s go so creative or let’s go so over the top,’ which tours are doing or is a big thing, which is creating the visuals, LED screens, lighting. I was involved all of that content and visuals but I wanted the audience to remember who she is and to celebrate her. She’s such a legend. And I think I did well.”
The name of the tour is a reference to Janet’s 1989 hit single of the same name, and the pop star deliberately chose the title because of huge issues affecting the world today, in the hope she could bring them together in positivity.
Gil told E! News: “I think that was the main point is for the group and mass of people to come together and try to be positive in such a world we live in now.”
The concerts are Janet’s first since she and estranged husband Wissam al Mana welcomed son Eissa into the world nine months ago, and Gil thinks she’s struck a good balance with her personal and professional commitments.
He said: “I think what balances her out is the fact that she’s happy and she’s happy to be here…She loves being on stage. I think that’s what balances her out. I think motherhood balances her out. I think a close support of friends.”

Kimberley Walsh gave Girls Aloud outfits away

OHMYGOSSIP — Kimberley Walsh has given her Girls Aloud costumes to charity.
The 35-year-old singer has advised fans to look out for her old outfits in second-hand stores as she got rid of them a long time ago.
Kimberley – who has sons Bobby, three, and Cole, 10 months, with husband Justin Scott – has been having a wardrobe clearout for Cancer Research UK but admitted it didn’t involve going through her old tour costumes.
She said: “I’m just getting out of my post-pregnancy clothes so it’s a good time for me to get a new wardrobe going on.
“It’s a really simple way to give back – they’re asking for people to have a clear out of clothes, homewares or accessories and drop them off at the nearest TK Maxx to help support such an important cause.
“I think I’ve cleared out [my Girls Aloud outfits] already. I’m sure there are outfits from my Girls Aloud days in various charity shops across London.”
Kimberley admits she finds it hard to motivate herself to exercise but knows she has to take advantage of the time when her kids are asleep.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “To motivate myself to run while they sleep instead of just having a little nap with them was very hard, so I didn’t put that pressure on myself for the first six months or so.
“Now Cole is sleeping really well so I tend to do it when he naps in the morning.
“I try to do it three or four times a week, even if it’s just a 30-minute run. But Cole’s at that stage now where he’s not going to be entertained just sat in a chair – he wants to be crawling and standing and learning how to walk s I don’t have that opportunity any more.”

Noel Gallagher misses music ‘joy’

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher misses the “raging joy” in music.
The 50-year-old rocker has lamented the “golden age” of pop, when people didn’t pay attention to a song’s lyrics and just wanted to lose themselves in the track, and claims the likes of Travis and Coldplay have changed the face of the genre with their desire to be regarded as “artists”.
He fumed: “I grew up in the golden age of pop, late 1970s, early 1980s.
“Nobody talked about lyrics. You listened. You danced. It affected your life. Who cares what it’s about?
“[When did it change?] Around Britpop, when everybody wanted to be considered ‘an artist’.
“When Travis and Coldplay came and it was all introverted, why-does-it- always-rain-on-me? It’s not just raining on you. It’s raining on everyone. I’d rather write a song about the umbrella, not the f***ing rain.
“Look at everybody’s first Britpop album. Oasis’. Blur’s. Pulp’s. Raging joy.
“I suppose it did get darker when drugs took over, yeah. And then you end up with the Libertines — lads with no teeth and their grandads’ hats.”
And the former Oasis star insists people have no desire to hear songs written about his own experiences, such as his abusive father, Tommy, and wants his lyrics to remain open to interpretation.
He told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: “People don’t want to hear that. I might go into it if I write a book.
“Then I’m listening to someone pour his heart out and I’m, like, ‘Good for you. Tell me something about me.’ ”
And the ‘Death of You and Me’ hitmaker believes chart music today is too formulaic.
He said: “The charts are still dominated by transatlantic pseudo-American bulls**t.
“Put a rap in and pop chorus on it. Email it to someone in Mogadishu to put some maracas over it. Make loads of money.”

Alicia Keys thinks ‘Fallin’ ‘defied all genres’ of music

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Keys thinks ‘Fallin’ “defied all genres” of music.
The 36-year-old singer released the hit record in 2001, but the star was apprehensive about the track because she didn’t think it would “have a place” on the radio.
Speaking about her career in a documentary named ‘Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives’, which is based on the 85-year-old record producer, she said: “People really liked ‘Fallin.’ But it defied all genres. It didn’t have a place at radio.”
And the brunette beauty – who has sons Egypt, six, and Genesis, two, with her husband Swizz Beatz – has revealed when she first signed to Columbia Records people did not “understand” her style of music, and she was forced to find the support elsewhere if she wanted to pursue a career in the industry.
She explained: “And at 16, I was signed by Columbia Records. The people at Columbia really didn’t understand what I was doing. My manager at the time, he was like, ‘If they don’t get you, then let’s find somebody that does.'”
The ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ hitmaker has revealed the music mogul soon came to her aid and helped her to make her big break, which she will “never forget”.
She explained: “I’ll never forget meeting Clive. I remember him being really appreciative and celebratory of the fact that I was my own artist. And I remember feeling so inspired.”
Alicia – who has received 15 Grammy Awards, nine Billboard Music gongs and seven BET honours during her career – has praised Clive for believing in her and her talent, and helping her to become an established artist.
Speaking about the businessman, she said: “[Davis] knew that if people could lay their eyes on me, if they could see what he saw, then they would see what he saw.”
The ‘Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives’ will be available on iTunes on Friday (13.10.17).

Liam Gallagher ‘never’ wanted to go solo

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher “never” wanted to be a solo artist.
The 45-year-old singer has admitted he finds it “odd” that he does not have the support of his brother Noel Gallagher when he is on stage and it is only him performing, and though he would “prefer” to be back in Oasis he knows that it will never happen, but he doesn’t plan to create another new band.
Speaking to Variety Online about his career, the ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker said: “I never really wanted to go solo. I still find it all a bit peculiar, having my name above the door, even though that’s just the way it’s got to be.
“But going solo… I still find it a bit odd. I’d much prefer to be in a band. I’d much prefer being in Oasis. I liked having the lads around and having a laugh. But that’s not to be, so solo it is.
“To go back and start another band, we’ve done that with Beady Eye, and it’s always going to get compared to Oasis. I don’t fancy that. And at the time, going around trying to get guitarists and drummers, I just wasn’t in the headspace for it.”
And Liam has admitted he struggles writing new tracks, although he has claimed he wrote “most” of the album ‘As You Were’.
He explained: “I still feel like a rock and roll singer more than a musician or a songwriter. I mean, I come up with a few songs, and I wrote most of the album, but I need a bit of help, man. I can write my little f***ing ‘Greedy Souls’ and I can write ‘Bold (two of four songs on the album on which he receives solo writing credit), but I think I need a bit of help with the bigger songs. So there’s Greg Kurstin, there’s Andrew Wyatt, and a guy called Simon Aldred, who we did ‘For What It’s Worth’ with. I’m down with it, man.”
And the music icon believes his recent hit ‘For What It’s Worth’ is “one of the great songs” he has ever made, and he has dedicated the record to everyone he has hurt over the years.
Speaking about the single, Liam – who has 16-year-old son Gene with his former wife Nicole Appleton, Lennon, 18, with Patsy Kensit, as well as daughters Molly, 20, and four-year-old Gemma from two other relationships – said: “I think it’s one of the great songs I’ve sung on, ever. I’ve pissed off a lot of people and I’ve hurt a lot of people. And I’d like to dedicate this song to them. And that’s it — and we move on. I’m not going keep saying ‘sorry’ for the rest of my life. It happened. I’ve not killed anyone. It’s to everyone in the universe who I’ve p***ed off or let down. But it’s certainly not just about Noel or anyone. It could be about my kids, my mum, my ex-missus, anyone. It’s about a lot of people.”

Mollie King wants Saturdays reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Mollie King wants a Saturdays reunion.
The 30-year-old singer admits life in the girl band – who went on hiatus in 2014 – was a “dream come true” and she hopes one day to perform again with Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Rochelle Humes.
She said “Being in The Saturdays was a dream come true and I’d love for there to be a reunion in the future.
“When you’re in this industry, you’ve got to trust yourself and go with your gut and that’s what we did.
“You have to try not to get wrapped up in anything.”
Mollie is currently competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ withh AJ Pritchard, but she insists her pop background hasn’t helped her at all.
She saidL “I’ve had no official training whatsoever, so I want to learn how to dance.
“In The Saturdays’ music videos, it was mostly striking a pose and ‘shaking what you’ve got’, rather than dancing.
“I don’t feel prepared at all – I need to learn these moves.”
And though the ‘Issues’ hitmaker had some dance lessons when she was a child, she quickly gave up and tried something else after being told she moved like an “elephant”.
She said: “My mum took me to a ballet class when I was three or four but a teacher came up to her and said I danced like an elephant. So I went to play football instead.”

Camila Cabello’s tears over Ed Sheeran

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello “cried” when she met Ed Sheeran.
The former Fifth Harmony singer admitted she can be “shy and awkward” in social situations, and she let her emotions get the better of her when she came face-to-face with one of her musical heroes.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “My musical influences include everyone from Michael Jackson, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars, to Rihanna, Shakira and Latin artists like Alejandro Sanz.
“I met Ed Sheeran and cried… I’m an introvert and I get pretty shy and awkward in social situations.”
As well as her musical influences, the 20-year-old singer also takes a lot of inspiration from her fans.
She said: “Different women inspire me every day. It could be a fan who was strugglnig for a long time and told me they recovered and are in a better place, a fan who just ame out to their mum, my little sister, and my Mom – women in my life every day who are working on making their lives better.”
And Camila thinks Beyonce is the ultimate example when it comes to strong women in the music industry.
She said: “Women are powerful and music as a form of expression allows you to take ownership of that.
“Performances, videos and the poetry of a song are all great mediums for expressing that strength.
“Imagine Beyonce commanding a massive stage – I don’t think anything can rival that in terms of an expression of women’s empowerment.”
Since leaving Fifth Harmony, Camila has been working hard on solo material and the ‘Freedom’ singer is very proud of her first album, ‘The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.’.
She said: “I have so many great memories writing my first solo album.
“I had written songs by myself for years in hotel bathrooms but never a legitimate studio. It was exciting and I learnt so much.”

Liam Gallagher has ‘never’ been approached about an Oasis reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has “never ever ever” had an offer to reunite Oasis.
The 45-year-old rocker has often been vocal about his willingness to reunite the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers – who split in 2009 – if he could patch things up with his brother and rival Noel Gallagher.
However, the ‘Wall of Glass’ singer has now revealed that in the eight years since the rock giants split, Noel, 50, and his manager Marcus Russell – who also previously managed Oasis – have never once entertained the idea of a reunion.
He said: “I’ve never, ever, ever, ever in my f***ing life had one offer to get Oasis back. That would go through Marcus Russell, another conniving ****. That would all go through him, so whenever it’s right for Noel I’m sure I’ll get a call.”
And Liam hopes that the release of his debut solo album ‘As You Were’ – which hits shelves today (06.10.17) – will give him “leverage” against people who think he’s desperate for an Oasis reunion from a financial standpoint.
He added: “Now if this album goes well, I might have a bit of leverage, some people might go ‘He’s got a bit of clout now’, whereas I’m sure all their plans are like, ‘He’s on his a**e, he’s going through a divorce, Beady Eye’s not happening, we’ll have him by the f***ing balls by 2020’ or whenever they come round to their senses to get back together. ‘So he’ll do it for nish, he’ll be desperate to do it, and here’s the angle, when Noel’s solo career starts dipping or when it gets a bit stale’ – and he’s not lighting up the f***ing world, I don’t give a f**k what anyone’s saying – ‘We’ll turn round and go ‘y’know what, I’ve gotta get Oasis back together, our kid’s on his f***ing arse, look. He’s selling ‘The Big Issue’, he’s still wearing that orange jacket from One Love’ and I’ll be coming on cap in hand. Well it’s f***ing not happening.”
The ‘For What It’s Worth’ singer also thanked his fans for buying tickets to see his solo shows, and promised they would receive a “proper” show in return.
He told NME magazine: “I’d like to thank the fans who bought all them tickets for that arena tour and making me feel good again. You’re gonna get a proper proper f***ing show, mate.”

Lin-Manuel Miranda wanted song to be danceable

OHMYGOSSIP — Lin-Manuel Miranda knew people had to be able to dance to his Puerto Rico charity single.
The ‘Hamilton’ creator has teamed up with a number of Latin artists, including Jennifer Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony, Gina Rodriguez, Fat Joe, Gloria Estefan, and Camila Cabello, on ‘Almost Like Praying’, which will raise money for the Hispanic Federation’s UNIDOS Disaster Relief Fund, and he quickly figured out how he wanted the track – a blend of dancehall, reggaeton and steel drums – to sound.
He said: “If you’re gonna write a song for Puerto Rico and you can’t dance to it, you f***ed up.”
Lin-Manuel resorted to “cold-calling” and Twitter messaging artists he wanted on the track who he’d never even met before, and was delighted when they all said yes.
He said: “I broke my Rolodex and called every Latino artist I know.
“And when I didn’t know them, I got on Twitter. I caused a minor uproar with Camila Cabello’s fans when I tweeted her, ‘Hey I have an idea!’ I also sent a private message to Luis Fonsi, who I never met before. I cold-called and every single person said yes, without even hearing the song.”
The 37-year-old songwriter spent 72 hours flying from New York to Miami and Los Angeles to be there when the artists recorded their verses, but some of those featured were based in the Caribbean and went to great lengths to be included.
He recalled to Rolling Stone magazine: “The rapper PJ Sin Suela recorded at home. But he didn’t have the bandwidth to email his verse.
“So he gave a memory stick to Estefan, who was there on a relief mission – she then flew it back to us. When I say ‘all hands on deck,’ I’m really not f***ing around!”
Lin-Manuel began working on the track, an adaptation of ‘Maria’ from stage musical ‘West Side Story’, two days after the hurricane of the same name hit.
He said: “I knew the name Maria was forever going to have a destructive connotation to this island.
“It’s also the name of my favourite song from ‘West Side Story’. So my brain was already looking for a sample to flip … And that’s what we do in hip-hop, right? We take a sample, we flip it and change the meaning. And so the hook of the song is, ‘Say it soft, and it’s almost like praying.'”
And he was delighted to receive clearance from Stephen Sondheim and the estate of Leonard Bernstein for the song straight away.
He said: “They gave their blessing within a day. there’s a crisis, you call in all the favours – call the gods of musical theatre!
“I have the great fortune to count Sondheim as a mentor and a friend. I worked with him and Bernstein on the 2009 revival of West Side Story and its Spanish translations. Sondheim wrote back immediately and said ‘Yes – and what else can I do?'”

Papa Roach working on new album

OHMYGOSSIP — Papa Roach have written six songs of their new album – just five months after their latest record dropped.
The US rockers – made up of Jacoby Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance and Tony Palermo – released eighth studio album ‘Crooked Teeth’ in May, but they have set about getting to work on a new LP after being forced to axe their August tour dates when Jacoby needed vocal cord surgery.
Drummer Tony said: “We basically finished ‘Crooked Teeth’, and at the beginning of the year, we had a tour cancel on us, so we had to … we couldn’t just go out and book a tour; it takes time.
“So we thought, ‘What better time to continue the creative process with our producers, Nick [Nicholas ‘Ras’ Furlong] and Colin [‘Doc’ Brittain].’
“So we went back in the studio right after we finished the last record, ‘Crooked Teeth’, and got about five or six songs down, demoed out.”
The group’s forthcoming record is set to have a more “bouncy” sound to it, but Tony admitted the songs already written may not make it on the final release.
Speaking to Metal-Heads.de, he added: “They’re definitely more in the bouncy, riffy era of Papa Roach.
“It’s a great start to creating some new music again, even though [‘Crooked Teeth’] is still new.
“So it feels good that we have somewhat half a record already written. But that’s not to say that those are gonna all make the record, because that’s determined at a later time. But we’ve already had fun writing some of the newer stuff – like, new-new.”
Papa Roach released their debut album ‘Old Friends from Young Years’ in 1997 but really shot to fame in 2000 with their second studio record, ‘Infest’, which spawned hit singles ‘Last Resort’ and ‘Broken Home’.

Liam Gallagher: My new album exposes my other side

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher hopes his new album proves there’s a “good person” beneath his bravado.
The outspoken rock star’s new record ‘As You Were’ reveals a different, more “heartfelt” version of Liam, and he’s keen for the public to see the other side to him as a songwriter.
Liam shared: “There are some songs on the album which I’ve written myself which are heartfelt, I’ve had to dig down deep. Hoping they’ll see another side to me as a songwriter.
“People seem to think I walk around booting pigeons and gobbing on old ladies, there’s a good person underneath this parka.”
Liam, 45, admitted the album’s name ultimately means “nothing”.
However, the name he originally planned to use, ‘Bold’, was scrapped because it reminded him too much of the famous laundry detergent brand.
Speaking to Dave Berry on his Absolute Radio Show, Liam explained: “It was going to be called ‘Bold’, but I thought washing up detergent. I just kept seeing ‘Bold’ everywhere, I thought I’m bored of this.
“I thought ‘As You Were’ has got a bit of a vibe. It means nothing but it’s intriguing.”
The former Oasis star is set to embark on a tour of the UK, which will see him perform at a number of carefully selected venues like London’s Alexandra Palace.
And Liam has revealed he would love to welcome some of his heroes from his beloved Manchester City soccer team, including manager Pep Guardiola and star player Sergio Aguero, to one of his gigs.
Liam admitted: “He is welcome to come, all of them are welcome to come. Every single one of them. I’d love to meet Pep, I’d love to meet Aguero.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith’s new album will be released on November 3.
The ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ singer has announced his second LP, titled ‘The Thrill Of It All’, will be released in just a few weeks time.
He wrote on Twitter: “My beautiful fans, I am so so excited to finally share this news … My second album ‘The Thrill Of It All’ is yours Nov 3rd!! You can pre-order now and find out about live shows at http://samsmithworld.com xx (sic)”
Sam returned to music recently with his hit track ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’, which has stayed at the top of the charts for three weeks in succession.
Speaking about what people can expect from his upcoming album, he said: “‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ is one of four songs on the album which is about someone else, a relationship I was in. All the rest of the album is about other stuff. I’m talking on this record about other things like fame, the world and other people’s relationships.”
And the 25-year-old singer admits he was worried people didn’t want to hear new music from him.
He confessed to BBC Newsbeat: “That was my biggest fear. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do and tour round the world and I don’t take that for granted. I was really scared that people just wouldn’t want to hear my voice again and I’m really thankful that they do, for now. They might get sick of it in a few months.”
When Sam released his debut album, ‘In The Lonely Hour’, back in 2014, he found himself being nominated for six Grammy Awards, winning four of them, as well as two BRIT Awards – for British Breakthrough Act and Global Success – and three Billboard Awards. He also jointly earned an Academy Award and Golden Globe gong for his and Jimmy Napes’ track ‘Writing’s On The Wall’, which served as the theme tune for Bond film ‘SPECTRE’.

Sarah Harding is back in the studio

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Harding has revealed she is back in the studio recording new music.
The former Girls Aloud singer took to social media on Thursday (05.10.17) to reveal she is back in the recording studio for the first time since before the girl group – which also featured Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts – split up back in 2013.
Tweeting a picture of her in the studio, the singer wrote: “Excited to be back in the studio (sic)”
Sarah – who recently won the latest series of reality show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ – revealed the news just weeks after speculation arose that she was heading to America to be with her new beau Chad Johnson after she put her UK mansion up for sale.
The ‘Love Machine’ singer was reunited with the ‘Bachelorette’ star – whom she met whilst in the ‘Big Brother’ house – last week after she flew across the pond to be with him following three weeks apart, but although it’s still early days for them, it looks like things are hotting up between them fast as the blonde beauty has decided to put her lavish home in Buckinghamshire on the market.
The pop star was spotted running into the arms of her 30-year-old beau and planting a kiss on his lips after they were reunited at the airport.
Sarah’s decision to jet Stateside for some quality time with Chad comes after they realised the long distance between them was wreaking havoc for their new relationship.
A source said recently: “Things are hard – they’re so far apart, and there’s the time difference too. When they do speak things are tense. It’s really tough. Things are really up and down and everyone’s saying they’re on the rocks.”
But, although they haven’t commented or liked one another’s pictures in weeks, they do still follow each other and friends have confirmed they’re still together at the moment.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sing for Puerto Rico

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez is teaming up with her ex-husband Marc Anthony for a song to raise money for storm-ravaged Puerto Rico.
The island has been left devastated in the wake of Hurricane Maria’s destructive passage through the Caribbean, and Lin-Manuel Miranda has assembled a huge array of Latin artists to record a song which he describes is a “love letter to Puerto Rico” and will be released this Friday (06.10.17) to raise funds to help victims.
Lin-Manuel – whose parents were both born in Puerto Rico -announced the news on Facebook and Twitter and shared an image of the list of stars involved on the project, with names including former lovers J.Lo and Marc, Camila Cabello, Gloria Estefan, Gina Rodriguez, John Leguizamo and Luis Fonsi among others.
He captioned it: “Can’t wait for you to hear this song. Song title and artwork tomorrow. Keep doing good. (sic)”
Lin-Manuel has also shared a Latin-themed playlist called ‘For Puerto Rico’ that he made on music streaming service Spotify which is made up of all the artists who have joined him for the charity song.
Spotify bosses have agreed to donate cash to the Puerto Rico relief effort every time fans stream the compilation.
Lin-Manuel – who created Broadway musical ‘Hamilton’ – has told his fans that if the playlist gets 50,000 streams he will share a throwback picture of himself with Jennifer Lopez when they were in college together.
He tweeted: “I’ll sweeten the pot … If this playlist hits 50K followers, I’ll share a pic of me IN @JLo DRAG FROM COLLEGE. (sic)”
